When a hashtag like #DeportHarrySisson goes viral, it exposes more than just political rivalry; it reveals a deeper sickness in America’s culture. Hate has become fashionable again, and too many people on both sides of the aisle are cheering for it. In this powerful episode, Peter Boykin, founder of Gays for Trump and host of #GoRight with Peter Boykin, breaks down how digital mobs, political influencers, and partisan echo chambers are being funded, organized, and weaponized to divide the nation. From fake “deportation” campaigns to coordinated smear tactics, Peter reveals the uncomfortable truth about how both the far-left and parts of the right are losing their moral compass. He challenges conservatives to live up to their own principles, to stand for the Constitution, not cruelty, and to remember that freedom and faith mean nothing without dignity and respect for all Americans.

This isn’t about defending one activist. It’s about protecting the Constitutional right to speak, believe, and exist without being erased by the mob. Whether you’re gay, straight, liberal, or conservative, this is a wake-up call to stand for liberty, not labels. Join the movement to Go Right, where principle still matters more than politics.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome back to hashtag go Right with Peter Boykin, where
we stand for faith, freedom and the fight to preserve
our constitutional or a public I'm Peter Boykin, founder of
Gays for Trump and a proud voice for those who
believe liberty should belong to everyone, not just those who
think our vote a certain way. Today, we're asking a
question that might make some people uncomfortable. Is hate against

(00:25):
gays the last susceptible prejudice in American politics? And more importantly,
why does this hate keep showing up not just from
the left, but from within the very movement that claims
to defend freedom for all. When a hashtag like hashtag
deepport Harry Sizon starts trending, it's easy to scroll past

(00:47):
it and left. But what happens this week, in previous
weeks and probably the future, wasn't just a mean. It
was a flashpoint exposing a sickness in our culture that's
affecting both sides that they are Harry says On, a
twenty one year old liberal influencer known for his pro
biding posts, suddenly began became the target of a digital mob.

(01:12):
People called for his deportation, even though he's an American citizen.
It started as mockery but quickly turned into something darker
at campaigns soaked and hate, insults and slurs. Now we're
going to be clear here. Harry's politics and my politics
are miles apart. He represents the young face of a

(01:33):
Democrat machine that funds influencers to sell talking points like products.
But what matters more than what he said is what
we said back. Because the way we respond to people
like Harry, especially when the right turns angry and ugly,
says a lot more about our values than our viral
videos ever will remember we fight for what's right. Because

(01:58):
it's time to go right. Let's talk about the machine
for a moment. People like Harry says on but if
I'm pronouncing his name wrong, whatever, don't just pop up
out of nowhere. They're trained, they're coached, and they're funded.
Reminds me of that Paul skinny guy from the March

(02:18):
from Our Lives. Behind these authentic, authentic gen Z activists
are Democrat aligned facts, media strategists, and political donors who
see activism not as a movement but as an industry
and outrage self people the most and more emotional the

(02:39):
post the more viral it goes. I'm sure some people
clicked on this just because I asked such a such
a question. And when you follow the money, it's clear
today's online activism isn't about values, It's about influence. But
here's where we have to take a hard look in
the mirror, because while we criticize that left wing echo chamber,

(03:02):
some on our own side have built a mirror image
of it, driven by rage, cliques, tribal loyalty, and mob behavior.
We point fingers at council culture, but we have our
own versions of online mobs that go after anyone who
dares to be different, even when they share our principles. Now,

(03:23):
as the founder of Gays for Trump, I've seen both
sides of political intolerance. I've been attacked by the left
for supporting Donald Trump, and I've been attacked by the
right for being gay. That's the reality of standing in
the middle of the culture war that punishes honesty. And
what breaks my heart is when I see the same

(03:43):
kind of hate that we condemn in liberals coming from
people waving our flag, from those who call themselves patriots.
Are Christians our maga. But let me say this, when
you hurl slurs at someone just because they're gay, You're
not defending America, you're betraying it. Freedom isn't a member's

(04:05):
only club. If you believe in the Constitution, then you
believe in liberty for everyone, even those who love differently,
think differently, are vote differently. That's what makes this issue
so much bigger than Harry whatever his name is our
one viral hashtag. It's about whatever. We as a movement

(04:26):
are willing to stand for principle, even when it's uncomfortable,
because the truth is, hate against gays has become the
one prejudice that too many people still think is okay.
If someone used that level of hatred towards a black person,
Jewish person, or an immigrant, they'd be canceled and condemned immediately,

(04:47):
or at least we think so. But when it's aimed
at the gay community, suddenly everyone looks the other way,
and that hypocrisy isn't just a problem for the left,
it's a moral failure or the right. Before we go on,
I just want to mention the same thing goes on
the big tent of MAGA. When there's always been blacks

(05:07):
for Trump and women for Trump and Latinos for Trump,
and white people for Trump, and black people for Trump
and everything else under the manner for Trump. When my
group said we're gays for Trump, we got the well,
we don't believe in identity politics. If you don't believe
in identity politics, how come there's not how come there's
a men's Republican Club, a youth Republican club, a women's

(05:31):
Republican club, and that you're courting every other identity group.
But it's only identity when it comes to Gaze for Trump.
That's been my biggest thorn in my side for these
many years. Now, let's continue. The far left has weaponized
gender and an identity and then it's Saturday. I'm gonna
agree with that, and I've been outspoken about that, But

(05:56):
that doesn't give everyone the right to respond with hate. Also,
it doesn't give everybody the right to scapegoat, are stereotype
or demonize the teasing accused, because not everybody's the same,
everybody's a little bit of an individual. But I will
agree that there has been the weaponization of gender and

(06:17):
identity politics and the weaponization of the LGBT community as
a whole. That's why I create a gayt for Trump
to try to prove that we're not all under some
Democrat plantation. Now, the answer to insanity is it cruelty,
it's conviction. And if you stand and truly stand for

(06:38):
constitutional liberty, that freedom doesn't stop where someone else's love begins.
It extends to the gay couple who just want to
live free or to marry, the pastor who preaches his faith,
the atheist who rejects it, and yes, even the young
liberal TikTok star or Twitter star who spends his day's

(06:59):
spouse nonsense online. We're supposed to be the side of faith,
freedom and individual rights, not mob cruelty. You can't hold
the Constitution in one hand and throw stones with the other.
That's not conservatism, that's corruption of the spirit. Freedom of
religion means you can live by your beliefs, and I'll

(07:22):
defend that. But that same freedom means others can live
by theirs or by none at all. That's the foundation
of our constitutional republic, and that's the America I fight for.
If we want to rebold America, rebuild America's moral center,
we have to lead by example, not mirror the hate

(07:44):
we claim to oppose. Because the moment we justify cruelty
in our own ranks, we become the darkness we're supposed
to fight. Looks even Jesus said, turn the other chief.
We can't claim to defend freedom if we cheer when
it's taken from someone we dislike. Whether it's Harry Sisson,

(08:06):
a conservative gay activist like myself, or Scott Pressler or
Brandon Straw are anyone else caught in the crossfire of
digital hate. The mission isn't to destroy people. It's to
expose hypocrisy, defend truth, and remind America of what real
freedom looks like. That's what it means to go right,

(08:29):
not just politically but moral, To stand where truth encourage meat,
to show that faith and freedom are not enemies. They
are the soul of this nation. So let's stop cheering
hate and start leading with conviction, because the true measure
of a free nation is in how loudly we can shelt.

(08:52):
It's how boldly we can stand up for what's right,
even when it's not popular. This has been hashtag go

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
