Is Texas About to Remind America Who Actually Runs This Country?

Who Actually Runs This Country?

This full #GoRight News podcast package delivers a powerful message America has been avoiding for far too long. The balance of the Republic is shifting, and one state is forcing the nation to remember the truth that Washington hoped would stay buried. The federal government was never meant to rule the states. It was meant to serve them. When that balance collapses, the Constitutional Republic begins to crack.

In this episode, Peter Boykin breaks down how Texas is stepping into the role the Founders expected every state to take when Washington refuses to do its job. From border failures to federal overreach, from constitutional authority to the forgotten design of the Republic, this package exposes why the political class is panicking and why the American people are waking up.

The states. The people. The Republic.

Tune in, share it, and remind others that sovereignty does not come from Washington.
It comes from the Constitution, through the states, and into the hands of the people.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Is Texas about to remind America who actually runs this country.
This is a rising speech for a republic that forgot
it has fifty guardians. Texas is reasserting its constitutional authority
and exposing the imbalance between state power and a bloated
federal government. Today, we're going to explore why Texas may

(00:24):
be the catalyst for a nationwide constitutional waking. Stay tuned
for a very special hashtag go Right with Peter Boykin commentary.
Remember we fight for what's right, because it's time to
go right.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
You got so many you're gonna.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Get down.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Let's start back, speaking very plainly, because the age of
polite whispering is over. What we are witnessing right now
is not chaos. It is not rebellion, It is not extremism.
It is the very first spark of something America has

(01:21):
not seen in a long time. It is a state
remembering the power that actually has. And the country is
nervous because deep down we all know the truth. States
were never meant to kneel, they were never meant to obey,
They were never meant to wait for permission from Washington

(01:45):
before protecting their own people. For far too long, we
have allowed the federal government to pretend it is the
master of this republic. News flash, it is not. The
states created it. The states empowered it, and the states

(02:06):
can check at any time they choose. Remember, folks, this
is the United States of America and that's not radical.
That's the blueprint of this nation. That is the design
the founders wrote with quills, dipped and rebellion and sealed

(02:26):
with the belief that no centralized authority should ever be
trusted with absolute power. People say that Texas is pushing
the boundaries. No, Texas is doing what the constitution allows.
The real boundary pushers are sitting in washing in DC,
growing agencies that never answer to the people, and enforcing

(02:50):
policies that break the very rights they swore to protect.
They expand their reach every single year, they take more
authority every year, and they expect the States to sit
quietly while the Republic tilts fervor and furvor away from
the balance that protects freedom. Texas simply stop pretending, and

(03:15):
now the political class is afraid, because when one state
remembers who it is, the others start to wake up too.
That is how revolutions begin, not with violence, but with
a question, not with weapons, but with memory, not with force,
but with courage. When one state stands, the rest see

(03:40):
that they can stink. When one state pushes back, the
rest realize they were allowed to push back all along.
And this is the moment Washington fears the most. A
population that remembers the federal government is not a king.

(04:00):
A state that remembers the Tenth Amendment is not decorative poetry.
A republic that remembers that power does not flow downward
from elites. It flows upwards from the people through their states.
The truth is no one in Washington wants to admit this.

(04:23):
The federal government is powerful only because the states allow
it to be powerful. The balance can shift anytime a
state decides it is done being used. Anytime a state
decides the constitution matters more than political pressure. Anytime a
state decides the safety of its own citizens comes before

(04:45):
the feelings of bureaucrats. This is not about Texas alone.
This is about the soul of the entire republic. Because
if one state can reclaim its authority, it proves the
rest can too. And if the rest do, then Washington
loses the ability to rule by fear, by threats, by

(05:10):
funding manipulation, by weaponizing agencies, and by pretending its power
is absolute. It never was, it never will be, and
it is time the American people remembered that this is
a crossroads moment. One road leads to a nation where
fifty states become fifty obedient districts run by one city

(05:33):
with one voice and one agenda, and the other road
leads back to the constitutional republic the founders built, where
states defend their people, guard their borders, and stand firm
when Washington fails are overreaches. Texas has chosen its road.

(05:54):
Texas stepped into the role of the constitution created for it,
and now every state must decide whether to follow our
continuous surrendering authority to a federal machine that has forgotten
the limits placed on it. This is not a stunt,
This is not a headline. This is a reminder, a

(06:15):
reminder that the Constitution still works when the states choose
to use it, a reminder that liberty survives when people
refuse to hand their power to Washington. And a reminder
that the future of this nation depends not on federal dominance,
but on states willing to rise, act and lead Texas

(06:37):
stunn up. The question is whether the rest of the
country still has the courage to rise with it, because
history always remembers the first one to say enough, and
history always follows through or follows those who refuse to kneel.

(06:58):
This is the moment we discover the republic we were
meant to beat. It's time to hashtag go right the.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Old days in the new ways. We got so baby,
we're going to be okay. Let's get aloud. Everybody in
the crowd. Feel the beat in your heart and your
body saying.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
It's time to go right. It's time to go right.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
It's time to go right. Heck, I can see the
looks in your eyes. You got so baby, You're gonna
be all right. Make a move, feel the groove, Get
down on my people in the crowd, everybody saying, hey.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
It's time to go right. Heck, it's time to go
all right.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
It's time to go round. It's time to go right.
It's time to go right. It's time to go right.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
It's time to go all right, it's time to go.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
It's time to go.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Let lets, it's time to go.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
It's time to go.

Speaker 6 (08:52):
Once upon a time, before microphones, before cable news, before
political branding, the power of the United States lived close
to the people. The states were not background players, They
were not regional branches. They were sovereign governments that agreed
to create a constitutional republic to protect liberty, not surrender it.

(09:19):
Today that old truth is resurfacing. A single state is
standing up again and forcing this nation to remember a
reality many in Washington would rather we forget. The federal
government was never designed to rule over the states. It
was designed to serve them, and when that balance.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
Breaks, the Republic begins to fracture.

Speaker 6 (09:47):
Right now, Texas is stepping into a role the Founders
expected every state to embrace when Washington fails to do
its job. States are not subjects, they are partners in
the republic, and Texas has reached a point where federal
inaction has become a direct threat to its citizens. Border chaos,

(10:10):
national security failures, unconstitutional pressure. Washington creates the problem, the
states absorbed the consequences, and the people.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
Suffer.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
Texas decided to stop accepting that arrangement because under the Constitution,
states retain the authority to act when the federal government
refuses to fulfill its responsibilities.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
This is not defiance, this is design.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
The Founders understood the danger of centralized power. They expected
the states to act as guard rails.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
When Washington strays from its duty.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
Texas is simply doing what the Constitution allows it to do,
and that is why the.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Panic is coming from Washington.

Speaker 6 (11:03):
The political establishment becomes uneasy whenever a state stands up
for itself, not because the action is unlawful, but because
it reveals the truth Washington wants Americans to forget. The
federal government is not the supreme power.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
In this country. The Constitution is.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
And the Constitution gives the states authority that cannot be erased,
cannot be redefined, and cannot be intimidated out of existence.
Washington is strong only when the states comply. It is
powerful only when the states remain silent. It becomes dominant
only when the people forget that their states were never

(11:47):
meant to be obedient. If Texas succeeds, others will follow,
and that is what Washington fears most. The founders built
a balance. The federal government and handles national responsibilities, the
states handle local governance. Each side has limits, each side

(12:08):
is accountable, Each side prevents the other from drifting into tyranny.
That balance created freedom, but over time Washington broke that balance.
Federal agencies grew, executive power expanded, accountability faded, and the
states were pressured to act like mere extensions of a

(12:29):
national command center. Now one state is pushing the scale
back into place. Texas is not breaking the system. Texas
is restoring him. This is not rebellion. This is the
Republic working exactly as the founders intended.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
And here is the simple truth.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
Texas is acting because Washington refuses to.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
That alone is enough to shake the political class.

Speaker 6 (12:57):
Texas is reminding America that sovereignty does not come from politicians.
It does not come from federal agencies. It does not
come from unelected bureaucrats hiding behind regulations. Sovereignty flows from
the people, through their states, into the republic. Every time
Texas acts within its constitutional authority, it pulls this country

(13:20):
back toward the balance the founders created.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
And every time Washington resists.

Speaker 6 (13:27):
It exposes how far the federal government has drifted from
the limits placed upon it. Texas has revived a conversation
that should never have disappeared.

Speaker 7 (13:39):
Who holds the true power in America? Washington wants you
to forget. Texas just reminded everyone.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Old days in the new ways. We got so baby,
and we're going it'll be okay. Let's get loud.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Everybody in the crowd, field of beating.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Yard and your body saying time to go by.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
It's kind of go right by.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
It's kind of just trying to go by.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
Hie gyt care, Sime, you'll go right.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
I can see the look in your eyes.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
You got so baby and you're gonna.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Be all right.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Move, fill the groove, get down on my people, and
everybody saying, shy, understand the man.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
This time it's coming dow. It's time to go right. Yeah,
it's time to go right. Yeah, it's time to go right.

(15:13):
And it's time to go It's time to go by.
It's hard to go right. It's time to go right.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
And starting to go right, it's time to go right.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
