a Jill in the air, andI'm back with my co host for this
venture, Ali Cohen. Hello,there is a jill in the air.

I'm feeling as has Let's talk aboutthat entrance in a few moments, because
I know that we're gonna have alot to say. Let's talk really briefly.
At the top of this episode,we pick up with the fight between
Brandy and Taylor. Vicky actually isthe one that is going back and forth
at this moment with Brandy, Andyou know, it just shows the editing

the end of the episode made itlooked like it was you going up the
roller coaster to a big argument.And then we get a start off and
it's just like all right, theyget up from dinner, they kind of
like rush off their shoulders and moveon. And Brandy, once again,
this is before ten pm, needsto be sent to bed way too much,
way too much. Like I mean, how I always say is how

do you not know after college yourlimits with alcohol? How do you not
know if I'm being honest, I'veI've hit beyond my limits after college and
I'm I'm I'm in my thirties andit happens once in a while. But
I'm also not on reality television,so I can do that once in a
while and feel not ashamed of myself. You're a private citizen, Yeah,

yeah, these are like public figures, just like again to ring up like
blackout at the time, like notreally, but you know, she might
as well be U. And thisis like, yeah, this is what

for a fall, but there wasno like fall. I don't know why

this. Vicky calls uh she Bradytells. Vicky tells Phaedre that she believes
Brandy is disgusting. So the judgmentsare it's night one. We can't even
say it like she's a mess,she's right disgusting. And Padre's response is

that Vicky should date a preacher andshe's she said something along the lines to
be a good citizen every again.Another Phaedre one liner that I was Phedra.
Oh my god, yes, thankyou, Doc. Yes we need
her on the show. Absolutely.It's such like Levity, you know what
I mean, I just oh sosmart and she Padre likes Brandy and she

feels that Brandy's misunderstood, and youknow, they get in bed together and
you know, she she's I'm gladthat someone is there for Brandy because we
did see in Beverly Hills housewife isso nobody was really, I mean,
nobody ever like came to her exceptLisa when it was to her for to
exploit Brandy and her right. Andthat doesn't feel good. I don't like
seeing anyone left out, even Imean no, I don't even if they're

saying something horrible. It makes mefeel sad. I will just add I
am thrilled. I said it inthe last episode that we don't have to
watch Kyle glad vacation. But Iknow this is the X Wives Club.

so many people died. We allknow how awful COVID was. Everyone
on the planet lived through it ordidn't. And it's not something that is

the best thing ever. No,No, And Dorinda, in her drunken
state, was right. She said, be intelligent enough to separate science from
politics. And did she make agood point with her screaming no she sound

she didn't. She didn't put itin the right way, but every word
Dorinda said I agreed with. Dorindais certainly passionate and Vicky, like she
admitted she was an anti vaxer.This was nothing really new if anyone's paying
attention to the blogs and the podcast. But I mean, her daughter is

a nurse. I imagine her daughtergot vaccina. I don't know what imagining.
And I know her son set onlinethat he did, so I don't
know who his family members are thatshe claims didn't vaccinated. Yeah, Vicky
has issues with all her children,well especially Ryan Ryan right, uh son
in law? Yeah, a sonin law, Yeah, that's him,

right, Yeah, I don't know. I mean this, I was like,
where are we going with this?I was not ready for the vaccine
talk this early in the series.I really could have used this halfway through,
and it just it really escalated.I wasn't I didn't find it really
entertaining. I don't find anti vaxx'sentertaining, so it was really like a

turn off I think for everybody.Um, I'm I'm not sure if I'm
happy or upset that Brandy was inbed. Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know. Duranda claims sheknows someone that passed a friend of her
is now because Vicky has to wentup her that she knows someone that passed
away from the vaccine. Like that'svery dangerous rhetoric all around. Like it's

not like it's she can't prove it, it's just you know, she's certificate.
Oh God for episodes you and again, a lot of us, like
people like you and me are watchingthese back to back because we need this,
and so this is you know,I'm being I'm excited and then I'm

hit with this. Yeah, didbring down the room and by the room
and me on my couch. Itbrought me down. Yeah, I didn't
love it. However, Derinda slurringabout unicorns kind of saved it a little
bit. At least it went backto it went back to the absurd.
She had to get up and goback into the house just to make herself
another drink that she doesn't need,only to come back out with the finger
pomps to herself making a drink.Meanwhile, Tamarra has never sounded more even

keeled and normal. Tamra's in aposition where she's just like she doesn't agree
with Vicky on everything, but Iwhat do you do in this case,
because just nicky is just so likebackwards in this moment. Ah. Yeah,
anyway, what else happened in here? Dorenda, she doesn't want statements
like this in her house, andthen Vicky claims that she would never argue

you like this with someone in herown house. So do you think that
it's an uneven playing field that theshow takes place in duringous orbit on duringeous
property. Well, that's a reallygood question, and I'm gonna say no,
because she doesn't seem to be ableto enforce any of the rules that
she has set out, like theshoes upstairs or eating in the bed,

like we've all broken the rules,so you know, she doesn't really she's
making it nice as nice as shecan, but she's not setting a precedent
for anything. No, I feellike she's playing hostess, which works,
but it's not in a matronly waywhere she's like telling people where to sit

and what to do and all that. So a plaques and she did put
them in the room. Okay,she's not, but by the way,
he got to enforce the plaques,you know, like rules are only rules
if they're enforced, So right,she's definitely taking this whole thing to another
level of making like the like themonarch her of her bluestone manner and all

his stuff. Like it's a littleexcessive, yes, but yeah, I
mean I don't know. I thinkit's a little unequal. But we'll see
how it plays out. Being inanyone else's home, yeah, automatically makes
it on some level unequal. Butagain, like you know, Brandy's eating
in bed and in the in thetestimonial, Dorinda's saying how horrible that is,

but she's not saying it to herface, So I don't I don't
know which Dorinda to believe Brandy's sleepingin a full face of makeup. I
mean, who didn't see that coming? You think? Take it off?
It's now day two and you know, Dorenda may think she's running the show
over here, but she's got thisguy Marco who's really doing the work.

Poor Marco. Yeah, these um, he's escorting these these uh nail ladies.
I don't know what is the correcttitles that a curiss, Yes,
that's the correct of thank you's.She's escorting them to the backyard and um
he's telling them, you know,there are seven of them, and then
he says, and I'm sure theyreally need it, like it like laughs,

Like you can tell he's annoyed.You can tell like, oh,
yeah, I'm the one on myfeet here at like the crack of dawn,
working in production, working in thiswoman's house to satisfy these women's every
need. And they're the ones thatreally needed. I felt for this guy
in that moment. It's like Icould sense the sarcasm that would be me
and like, oh, yeah,they really need the man. They really

knew the pedicures and the relaxation.I'm sweating over here right. Oh poor
Marco, he needs therapy definitely afterthis, after this. Yes, So
they cut to a house Lives afterdark and like, there are so many
stupid little things in this which Iappreciate A good segment I always did.
I love this classic Vicky and Tamerajust like wandering around the house, like

poking around, like I laughed.I loved that moment. They were being
really cute. I was really intoit. And then what else happened here?
There's already tons of drama to recap. It's like those typical House Lives
strips with they get up from theirhangovers, they have to go into each
other's beds and you know, talkabout what happened the night before. So
here we go the morning after.Vicky is done with Brandy, Brandy has

done with Vicky. Taylor is kindof done with Brandy, and Brandy thinks
that, um, it's all aparty and that's like she doesn't care what
happened. She's just say for agood time, quote unquote blacked out.
Yeah, so that's where we're at. That's where we're at. And kind
of I just love it. Ijust love that Brandy literally just doesn't care,
does not care, and they allcare so much. Brandy. One

thing from the clam bake that wedidn't address. Oh yes, how horny
durnda is prophedra, Yes, whatis happening? I know, I like
the dynamics. I don't know howit's gonna mix. You don't know,
you know, and now what we'reseeing these personalities kind of repel or you
know, come together. I dothink Padre is magnetic. Yes, she's

lovely. I mean, she's sosuch an interesting persons all of her businesses,
you know, she's she's just quitethe vernacular and how she explains things
that artician fascinating she really, shereally does it all. And then when
she said, well, you knowI'm at your gorgeous mansion, I guess
put your fingers in my mouth.I just again another one liner. Yes,

I love how she makes explanations andlike very simple things that someone could
say, and that she just theway she puts the words together. She's
such a good smith. I justenjoy it. Yes, I need more
of that inspires me to like thinkof ways to say things well creatively.
So then this idea of this chillpill comes out. But it's like this

was tacky too, Dernda, dowe need? No one's gonna wear these
necklaces. None of these girls aregonna put that on, but she gives
them off. She and Vicki claimsshe doesn't need one. Okay, I
think okay, yeah, I thinkshe's the most And then Randy claims that
she's not drinking all day. Shelives, I'm not drinking all day,

but I'm gonna start at night.So like, okay, something like what
the next six hours you're not goingto drink. I'll get messed up later
and say some bad things. Yeah, that's exactly. That was such a
cop up. Like she makes itselflike, oh, I know, I
was bad and I'm sorry. Sheapologizes the whole time. I'm not gonna
drink all day until like four o'clockthis afternoon, I mean, and yeah,

no, when does when does thedrinking begin? That's my question because
does it start at night? Isthat six pm? Is that? Who's
to say? So? Another apologyto Taylor, Okay, I mean these
is just like worthless apologies at thispoint, and then the pedicures begin.
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Andy finally,

and I know it's a lot offavorite folks, but they gave Jill her
a moment of the entrance, themusic that pull up the driveway, the
two heels on the stones and theirwalks and Jill hi. And that was
about it. Nobody got Jill's entrance, nobody it really, It didn't have

the same magic. Now, whatgave me the most excitement was the flashback
of her arriving in Saint Bart's fromthe pass, like that scene with all
the women and their expressions. Thatgave me the energy I immedied, I
love, I mean, oh yeah, that gave me a boost, but
a whimper. And again phaedra Iknow her from somewhere? Who is this
woman? She? Where? DoI know this woman from Phedra? I

loved it, didn't? She asklike, do you have anyone else coming?
Like? Oh who said? Shesaid? I thought my Moses were
coming, but it's this lady.Oh God. The whole entrance was so
awkward because no other women really cared, and she was trying to recreate this
thing, showing the back of herT shirt and I'm like, Jill,
it's too much, it doesn't work. Brandy is being a Greek chorus.

Brandy at this moment is being allof us and saying, no one understands
what's happening right now. She's tryingto recreate it, and no one does
that. Everyone is just like,just as they were in Saint Barts,
what the hell is happening? Andwhy is she here? And why is
Jill's boyfriend there? Why is Jill'sboyfriend there? He's like in her shadow
behind her, like she's not evenin the shot until they like zoom out
(14:22):
and it's like, oh, skystart here. No, I think he
was just there to like drop heroff and then take the dog with that.
She was tongue kissing. Oh god, the way that Jill and animals
is, why do these women findthese men that like are like right there,
like did you get there? Okay, I'm gonna walk you wa.
I'm gonna make sure you're all set, and I watch your dog like and

you alone. I can't get atext back anyway, what else happened?
Jill would rather be in Turks alreadyshading blue Stone. Man, it's beautiful,
but why do we have to behere? But basically I'm paraphrasing,
but that's where we're at. Andand then she takes over. You know,
Amazon delivers, you know they cando twenty hours. They can bring
in this, I can bring inthat. I know people in the city.

We can do this if we wantto get this done. It was
like whoa good? It was alot at once Joe and I love it.
The fading, you know, theyfaded between all the Jill chatter,
and I was kind of looking atDorinda where I was like, you have
now just like relinquished your hostess titleto Jil Zaren, whether you like it
or not. That's why what I'msaying with the power dynamic, she doesn't

have as long as Jill Zarn's there. Jill. You know what I thought
immediately while she was talking about thedelivery and this and the Can you imagine
if Jill Zaren was your mom um? No, no, too much.
And by the way, Ali seemslike a lovely girl. And I know
a few Jil Zaren types, butoh sure you don't. I'm on island

right, yeah, I do too. But she is just the what a
headache every day? I can't evenimagine it. She like went upstairs to
change the head to come back down, you know. And that's something I
would do though, I'd be like, I'm missing out. I need to
go back down. But she wasnot going to miss out on a second
of camera time. She waited almostten years to get me get in front

of these cameras again. So shecouldn't wait. Yea even a big deal,
and but she did. She heldoff for Yung Kapoor, which is
the day of atonement, and soshe did that and then she went right
on, right, right on back. Did you know Duranda was on the
show Did Your Shoes in season four? Did you see that in the clip
I played? They played the cliplike I'm like, okay, yeah,
we all know. Yeah, Sothat was Jill telling everyone that she is

responsible for the success of Derynda Medaling. That's what that is all about.
Yeah, and she'd probably say thesame thing about Bethany, and she was
given the opportunity. Yep, Sowhich we there was? Did you see
out recently on Instagram there was apicture of the two of them together.
Oh so Bethany must have like whiteknuckled it. She must have been like,

she must have taken a chill pill. Okay, picture and like I'm
going to leave. So a realhouse sives trope enters the picture. The
sound bath, we've seen this.I enjoy a sound bath. I discovered
this long ago. Yet I I'venever taken a sound bath. There.

I hate watching a sound bath somuch. Maybe I would like a sound
bath. Maybe I would like one. I don't know. I don't like
to watch one. There's nothing tosee. Yeah, I mean, I
will say they're very powerful. Justthink in the terms of vibrations, like
beautiful sounds, vibrations. The ifthe instructor knows their stuff really well,
like it can really be in avery immersive experience, and if you do

certain breathwork with it, it's actuallyvery therapeutic. There are a lot of
values to it. No, thisis just surface. This is totally surface
level with this. So, um, I thought Tammer would be into this.
Tamer seems a little more holistic tome. She's more about like body,
she's got cut fitness. Yeah,and then they CBG and so you
know, she might just kind ofgo for the ride with this, not

into it. One one house life. I knew would not be into this.
They I knew it. She doesn'tlike anything now. No, if
she doesn't have a glass tequila inher hand, she doesn't want to do
it. I said, this isgoing to be a waste of time for
her. I know it. AndI noticed they didn't cut to her right
away, and then they cut herin the interview. She'd rather be doing
taking doing emails, taking phone calls. She actually gets up and leaves,

like I knew that this would notwork for us. She called it a
waste of time, and I waslike, this is how I know I've
been watching these shows too long.Because you're on the same wavelength as these
women, you know them. Ican predict the behavior, of course,
and it's not always good behavior.She should have stayed. I mean,
that was even they I don't know, this could have been editing, but
they cut to the instructor and helike looked up when she got up,

like it's rude. I mean,hang out, just do it, you
know. But she doesn't know howto meditate. Yes, you can sit
there and go through your bills andgo through you know, your emails,
but there's a practice of meditation wherelike you let all that go. You
know, you're not a child,you're an adult, and you can sit
there for five minutes. It's reallyI mean, I don't know she's she

got it. I don't know.I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm
gonna have a problem with Vicky thisthis whole time. I know it.
I'm gonna have a real problem withher. And I didn't even say that
before with all the VAC stuff,but beyond like from from day one,
from moment one, well, you'rein the majority because the most people cannot

stand Vicky. They don't want heron this trip, they don't like the
behavior. I'm in the minority whereexcept for the VAC stuff, I get
a kick on a goofing on herbecause she just doesn't want to do this.
I don't not want her on thistrip. I want her. I
think part of the fun of allof these shows is really disliking somebody.
Yeah, and she's giving it tothem. She's yeah, so I I

kind of appreciate the fact that there'ssomeone that's like not into it right,
you know, like she's just notplaying the game and team too much over
here to Rinda now having to giveeveryone ice cream. You know. Even
Fader was like, I'm not usuallyon a schedule like this that I go
on vacation, but I don't needice cream, like like, it's just

it was a lot, I don'tknow, and the ice cream thing didn't
even really it barely made a dent. Yeah, well it was an empty
moment for me. What else happened? Um? Classic Vicky? What the
well? I said that before withlike not being interested in anything. She's
upstairs on the phone. She actuallywas listening to a Biden clip on YouTube

on her phone. Haven't you heardit? But his voice? When Tamer
opened the door, I'm like,what is she watching? Probably some Fox
News situation probably, but yeah,anyway, Vicky has a little bit of
a breakdown. Ish, I guessfor her it was an ish Yeah,
yeah, yeah, it's all aboutSteve. Do we care about Steve?

Why does she care about Steve?Well, exactly, they haven't been together.
He was living in her house inMexico. There's just a lot not
said during this trying to get itout of her. She's sad, she
just went through a breakup, allright, Yeah, I don't want to
hear about it. I know it'sa downer and like it's not like they

had this whirlwind romance. Like Idon't think anyone was really rooting for Vicky
and Steve, like you know,I mean, we were so invested in
Don and Vicky, like that wasa moment, Like this is not a
moment. I don't know what totell you. Vicky Starr really waned that
last season. Nobody cared about theengagement party. She had to buy her
own ring, Like it just wasn'ta good relationship. I think most people

will be happy to see that someonegot out of or got dumped from a
bad situation. And that's not totake away from her pain, which I'm
sure she's feeling, and it's abreakup is so hard. But I'm here
to have fun, Vic, LikeI'm here, Yeah, you know,
going. I don't want to bealone. I mean that's right. That

resonates with a lot of people,like I get it the who We're a
boost on manner now and it's timeto be on TV. Yeah. After
that scene, there was actually areally good scene that I enjoyed with Eva
and Taylor and they bond over,you know, going through a domestic situation
and they are a really honest,frank discussion, which was like one of
(22:18):
the realist moments I've seen in realityTV in a while. Two women talking
about going through a bad experience andrelating to each other. And I feel
like Eva was really there for Taylorin that moment. I mean, Taylor
started to cry. It was alllike right on the surface, right,
and it's just understandable, you know. So I just even they didn't expect
to go through that and that thatmoment together. And again, this is
(22:40):
why this show is so jam packed. This is like a day two scene,
like I think, we're Yeah,it's a lot, it's a lot.
I Will said, there's a it'svery entertaining that but the situation was
this scene was entertaining in the waythat it was so real and that it
was you know, raw, andit was it was a good discussion to
have, and I love their relationshipthat there. They just met and they've

like bonded so quickly. Yeah,I'm really happy that Taylor had the opportunity
to explain herself, Like she gotto explain why she didn't get her daughter
out of that situation. You know, this is a real opportunity to cover
at when she was talking about Kennedyin the car when she was five,
and why would you miss a boythat screams at you all the time.
Oh God, that's just beyond Ican't even imagine. And that's why that's

her I imagine that's her memory ofI assume, and that's why Brandy making
it about her is all the morepainful. I'm sure. Yeah, yeah,
I mean I imagine this was maybea lot for Taylor because picking up
where she left off was not reallythat great, you know, and now

she's in such a better place,which I really do believe. She looks
like she's like in a really greatmarriage. So now to have to like
kind of pick up where you leftoff and revisit all that and discuss that,
Like I'm not saying it's too soon, but it could be, but
it's also like it's just straight uppainful. You know. Again, it's
re traumatizing. That's what I'm talkingabout for her, I really am that's

a good point. Re traumatizing goodpoints. Yeah, well I love that
scene. And then we went backto which I felt was like a classic
Rony moment where then they go tothis ven Ford Hall they and it's like,
okay, what is this now?I did get not to lie,

I did kind of get some likelast season of Rony vibes where like they
would go to like these places likeby themselves because everything was closed, Like
yeah, but um, this iswhere the Morgan letters are kept. Is
that that's where the Morgan letters werecapped? And they brought us right back
there and you don't touch the Morganletters. Classic. But it did make

me miss so many because I wouldlove to see what Sony would do opposite
Brandy on this trip. That's terrifying. They would some somebody would break something
a bone or some other such thing. Can Sonia come by like maybe like
the last day. I would lovethat. Can we just have like a
quick drop in real quick? Likeshe doesn't have a beef with any of
these ladies, but I just know, like just give her, give her
(25:15):
a full bottle. Yeah, blah, gro is something good and let her
go, poor thing. You know, she's doing her show all over the
country. She's fine, Yeah,she's fine. Yeah, she's too busy.
She's booked in busy. Oh yeah, So now Jill is dressed.
According to Phaedre, another great linelike Strawberry Shortcake the Revival, And that

was another time I laughed out loud, me too, And she's absolutely right.
I don't know what this nineteen eightysix look was that Jill was pulling
off here, but all the otherwomen, like Brandy's in a skin tight
snakeskin mini dress and then you've gotJill on that. But then Drinda,
who was that a flapper outfit?It was like a yeah, like a

silver flapper outfit. She was havingfun in it, and I do like
to watch that. I like tosee someone, you know, dancing around
their outfit. That's a good difference. She was having fun and they had
her dancing, and they cut toVicky like in this Gucci dress, like
standing there like Vicky was like notinterested at all. She's still on West
Coast time. There's a meeting inten that It's like, what does she
want to be? It's spirit Night, which is by the way, I

don't like a sound baff, butI'd like to watch Sparitt Knight. I
like to see all the creepy stuff. Um. Now, did Jill not
participate in this because she didn't wantto drink coffee? She held her nose
and drank a little bit. ButI don't Maybe she just didn't have a
good reading because because we didn't seeit. I didn't see it. Yeah,
I don't know. Brandy thinks thatthe chef as a lesbian, and

this comes back later. She's alreadydrinking like a fish. Like every time
they cut to I Love, there'sa shady at it. They cut to
all of them and drinking the coffee, and they cut to Brandy and she's
throwing back a glass of wine.Oh yeah, oh yeah, no,
she's wasted. And she says suchstupid things that that this was something that
ignited what came to pass later waspretty dumb, right, Like she said

something stupid to was it? Hewas the waiter? Yeah, are you
married? Is your wife a lesbian? That's my wife? We just got
married. Eyebrows. It was Oh, that was funny and Pada loved that.

the show. New York is Teflon. I think someone like New Jersey if
you look at them the wrong Imean that New Jersey Beverly Hills. I
think if you look at them thewrong way, or they talk about a
room where they're like dead tea orsomething. I mean, that's very minute

again. It's just like that rollCuster. You gotta love it. And

did you find Bluestone Manner spooky?Um? Not so much, but I
did love that moment where they shotVicky thought that chandelier at the drip design
choice. I don't find it spooky, but I do find it very full,
very maximalist. Yes, I wouldnot want to be in that house

to get in age. Yeah,let's get into our final thoughts. Okay,
how let you go first? Ohthis I got. So much happened
in this episode. Again, chockfull. They didn't waste any time.
The only times I wasn't having agreat time was well, first of course

and a little too long, justa little too much yelling? Yes,
a little too long. How manytimes are we going to listen to

of going around her that creates drama. Brandy is another great example of that.

the end of the episode made itlooked like it was you going up the
roller coaster to a big argument.And then we get a start off and
it's just like all right, theyget up from dinner, they kind of
like rush off their shoulders and moveon. And Brandy, once again,
this is before ten pm, needsto be sent to bed way too much,
way too much. Like I mean, how I always say is how

do you not know after college yourlimits with alcohol? How do you not
know if I'm being honest, I'veI've hit beyond my limits after college and
I'm I'm I'm in my thirties andit happens once in a while. But
I'm also not on reality television,so I can do that once in a
while and feel not ashamed of myself. You're a private citizen, Yeah,

yeah, these are like public figures, just like again to ring up like
blackout at the time, like notreally, but you know, she might

feels that Brandy's misunderstood, and youknow, they get in bed together and
you know, she she's I'm gladthat someone is there for Brandy because we
did see in Beverly Hills housewife isso nobody was really, I mean,
nobody ever like came to her exceptLisa when it was to her for to
exploit Brandy and her right. Andthat doesn't feel good. I don't like
seeing anyone left out, even Imean no, I don't even if they're

saying something horrible. It makes mefeel sad. I will just add I
am thrilled. I said it inthe last episode that we don't have to
watch Kyle glad vacation. But Iknow this is the X Wives Club.

so many people died. We allknow how awful COVID was. Everyone
on the planet lived through it ordidn't. And it's not something that is

the best thing ever. No,No, And Dorinda, in her drunken
state, was right. She said, be intelligent enough to separate science from
politics. And did she make agood point with her screaming no she sound

she didn't. She didn't put itin the right way, but every word
Dorinda said I agreed with. Dorindais certainly passionate and Vicky, like she
admitted she was an anti vaxer.This was nothing really new if anyone's paying
attention to the blogs and the podcast. But I mean, her daughter is

a nurse. I imagine her daughtergot vaccina. I don't know what imagining.
And I know her son set onlinethat he did, so I don't
know who his family members are thatshe claims didn't vaccinated. Yeah, Vicky
has issues with all her children,well especially Ryan Ryan right, uh son
in law? Yeah, a sonin law, Yeah, that's him,

right, Yeah, I don't know. I mean this, I was like,
where are we going with this?I was not ready for the vaccine
talk this early in the series.I really could have used this halfway through,
and it just it really escalated.I wasn't I didn't find it really
entertaining. I don't find anti vaxx'sentertaining, so it was really like a

turn off I think for everybody.Um, I'm I'm not sure if I'm
happy or upset that Brandy was inbed. Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know. Duranda claims sheknows someone that passed a friend of her
is now because Vicky has to wentup her that she knows someone that passed
away from the vaccine. Like that'svery dangerous rhetoric all around. Like it's

not like it's she can't prove it, it's just you know, she's certificate.
Oh God for episodes you and again, a lot of us, like
people like you and me are watchingthese back to back because we need this,
and so this is you know,I'm being I'm excited and then I'm
(06:10):
hit with this. Yeah, didbring down the room and by the room
and me on my couch. Itbrought me down. Yeah, I didn't
love it. However, Derinda slurringabout unicorns kind of saved it a little
bit. At least it went backto it went back to the absurd.
She had to get up and goback into the house just to make herself
another drink that she doesn't need,only to come back out with the finger
pomps to herself making a drink.Meanwhile, Tamarra has never sounded more even
(06:36):
keeled and normal. Tamra's in aposition where she's just like she doesn't agree
with Vicky on everything, but Iwhat do you do in this case,
because just nicky is just so likebackwards in this moment. Ah. Yeah,
anyway, what else happened in here? Dorenda, she doesn't want statements
like this in her house, andthen Vicky claims that she would never argue

you like this with someone in herown house. So do you think that
it's an uneven playing field that theshow takes place in duringous orbit on duringeous
property. Well, that's a reallygood question, and I'm gonna say no,
because she doesn't seem to be ableto enforce any of the rules that
she has set out, like theshoes upstairs or eating in the bed,
(07:20):
like we've all broken the rules,so you know, she doesn't really she's
making it nice as nice as shecan, but she's not setting a precedent
for anything. No, I feellike she's playing hostess, which works,
but it's not in a matronly waywhere she's like telling people where to sit
(07:40):
and what to do and all that. So a plaques and she did put
them in the room. Okay,she's not, but by the way,
he got to enforce the plaques,you know, like rules are only rules
if they're enforced, So right,she's definitely taking this whole thing to another
level of making like the like themonarch her of her bluestone manner and all

his stuff. Like it's a littleexcessive, yes, but yeah, I
mean I don't know. I thinkit's a little unequal. But we'll see
how it plays out. Being inanyone else's home, yeah, automatically makes
it on some level unequal. Butagain, like you know, Brandy's eating
in bed and in the in thetestimonial, Dorinda's saying how horrible that is,

but she's not saying it to herface, So I don't I don't
know which Dorinda to believe Brandy's sleepingin a full face of makeup. I
mean, who didn't see that coming? You think? Take it off?
It's now day two and you know, Dorenda may think she's running the show
over here, but she's got thisguy Marco who's really doing the work.

Poor Marco. Yeah, these um, he's escorting these these uh nail ladies.
I don't know what is the correcttitles that a curiss, Yes,
that's the correct of thank you's.She's escorting them to the backyard and um
he's telling them, you know,there are seven of them, and then
he says, and I'm sure theyreally need it, like it like laughs,

Like you can tell he's annoyed.You can tell like, oh,
yeah, I'm the one on myfeet here at like the crack of dawn,
working in production, working in thiswoman's house to satisfy these women's every
need. And they're the ones thatreally needed. I felt for this guy
in that moment. It's like Icould sense the sarcasm that would be me
and like, oh, yeah,they really need the man. They really
(09:24):
knew the pedicures and the relaxation.I'm sweating over here right. Oh poor
Marco, he needs therapy definitely afterthis, after this. Yes, So
they cut to a house Lives afterdark and like, there are so many
stupid little things in this which Iappreciate A good segment I always did.
I love this classic Vicky and Tamerajust like wandering around the house, like
(09:48):
poking around, like I laughed.I loved that moment. They were being
really cute. I was really intoit. And then what else happened here?
There's already tons of drama to recap. It's like those typical House Lives
strips with they get up from theirhangovers, they have to go into each
other's beds and you know, talkabout what happened the night before. So
here we go the morning after.Vicky is done with Brandy, Brandy has
(10:13):
done with Vicky. Taylor is kindof done with Brandy, and Brandy thinks
that, um, it's all aparty and that's like she doesn't care what
happened. She's just say for agood time, quote unquote blacked out.
Yeah, so that's where we're at. That's where we're at. And kind
of I just love it. Ijust love that Brandy literally just doesn't care,
does not care, and they allcare so much. Brandy. One
(10:37):
thing from the clam bake that wedidn't address. Oh yes, how horny
durnda is prophedra, Yes, whatis happening? I know, I like
the dynamics. I don't know howit's gonna mix. You don't know,
you know, and now what we'reseeing these personalities kind of repel or you
know, come together. I dothink Padre is magnetic. Yes, she's

lovely. I mean, she's sosuch an interesting persons all of her businesses,
you know, she's she's just quitethe vernacular and how she explains things
that artician fascinating she really, shereally does it all. And then when
she said, well, you knowI'm at your gorgeous mansion, I guess
put your fingers in my mouth.I just again another one liner. Yes,

I love how she makes explanations andlike very simple things that someone could
say, and that she just theway she puts the words together. She's
such a good smith. I justenjoy it. Yes, I need more
of that inspires me to like thinkof ways to say things well creatively.
So then this idea of this chillpill comes out. But it's like this

was tacky too, Dernda, dowe need? No one's gonna wear these
necklaces. None of these girls aregonna put that on, but she gives
them off. She and Vicki claimsshe doesn't need one. Okay, I
think okay, yeah, I thinkshe's the most And then Randy claims that
she's not drinking all day. Shelives, I'm not drinking all day,

but I'm gonna start at night.So like, okay, something like what
the next six hours you're not goingto drink. I'll get messed up later
and say some bad things. Yeah, that's exactly. That was such a
cop up. Like she makes itselflike, oh, I know, I
was bad and I'm sorry. Sheapologizes the whole time. I'm not gonna
drink all day until like four o'clockthis afternoon, I mean, and yeah,

no, when does when does thedrinking begin? That's my question because
does it start at night? Isthat six pm? Is that? Who's
to say? So? Another apologyto Taylor, Okay, I mean these
is just like worthless apologies at thispoint, and then the pedicures begin.
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Andy finally,

and I know it's a lot offavorite folks, but they gave Jill her
a moment of the entrance, themusic that pull up the driveway, the
two heels on the stones and theirwalks and Jill hi. And that was
about it. Nobody got Jill's entrance, nobody it really, It didn't have

the same magic. Now, whatgave me the most excitement was the flashback
of her arriving in Saint Bart's fromthe pass, like that scene with all
the women and their expressions. Thatgave me the energy I immedied, I
love, I mean, oh yeah, that gave me a boost, but
a whimper. And again phaedra Iknow her from somewhere? Who is this
woman? She? Where? DoI know this woman from Phedra? I
(13:37):
loved it, didn't? She asklike, do you have anyone else coming?
Like? Oh who said? Shesaid? I thought my Moses were
coming, but it's this lady.Oh God. The whole entrance was so
awkward because no other women really cared, and she was trying to recreate this
thing, showing the back of herT shirt and I'm like, Jill,
it's too much, it doesn't work. Brandy is being a Greek chorus.
(14:01):
Brandy at this moment is being allof us and saying, no one understands
what's happening right now. She's tryingto recreate it, and no one does
that. Everyone is just like,just as they were in Saint Barts,
what the hell is happening? Andwhy is she here? And why is
Jill's boyfriend there? Why is Jill'sboyfriend there? He's like in her shadow
behind her, like she's not evenin the shot until they like zoom out
(14:22):
and it's like, oh, skystart here. No, I think he
was just there to like drop heroff and then take the dog with that.
She was tongue kissing. Oh god, the way that Jill and animals
is, why do these women findthese men that like are like right there,
like did you get there? Okay, I'm gonna walk you wa.
I'm gonna make sure you're all set, and I watch your dog like and

you alone. I can't get atext back anyway, what else happened?
Jill would rather be in Turks alreadyshading blue Stone. Man, it's beautiful,
but why do we have to behere? But basically I'm paraphrasing,
but that's where we're at. Andand then she takes over. You know,
Amazon delivers, you know they cando twenty hours. They can bring
in this, I can bring inthat. I know people in the city.

We can do this if we wantto get this done. It was

Why does she care about Steve?Well, exactly, they haven't been together.
He was living in her house inMexico. There's just a lot not
said during this trying to get itout of her. She's sad, she

had this whirlwind romance. Like Idon't think anyone was really rooting for Vicky
and Steve, like you know,I mean, we were so invested in
Don and Vicky, like that wasa moment, Like this is not a
moment. I don't know what totell you. Vicky Starr really waned that
last season. Nobody cared about theengagement party. She had to buy her
own ring, Like it just wasn'ta good relationship. I think most people

will be happy to see that someonegot out of or got dumped from a
bad situation. And that's not totake away from her pain, which I'm
sure she's feeling, and it's abreakup is so hard. But I'm here
to have fun, Vic, LikeI'm here, Yeah, you know,
going. I don't want to bealone. I mean that's right. That

resonates with a lot of people,like I get it the who We're a
boost on manner now and it's timeto be on TV. Yeah. After
that scene, there was actually areally good scene that I enjoyed with Eva
and Taylor and they bond over,you know, going through a domestic situation
and they are a really honest,frank discussion, which was like one of

the realist moments I've seen in realityTV in a while. Two women talking
about going through a bad experience andrelating to each other. And I feel
like Eva was really there for Taylorin that moment. I mean, Taylor
started to cry. It was alllike right on the surface, right,
and it's just understandable, you know. So I just even they didn't expect
to go through that and that thatmoment together. And again, this is

why this show is so jam packed. This is like a day two scene,
like I think, we're Yeah,it's a lot, it's a lot.
I Will said, there's a it'svery entertaining that but the situation was
this scene was entertaining in the waythat it was so real and that it
was you know, raw, andit was it was a good discussion to
have, and I love their relationshipthat there. They just met and they've

like bonded so quickly. Yeah,I'm really happy that Taylor had the opportunity
to explain herself, Like she gotto explain why she didn't get her daughter
out of that situation. You know, this is a real opportunity to cover
at when she was talking about Kennedyin the car when she was five,

Oh God, that's just beyond Ican't even imagine. And that's why that's

her I imagine that's her memory ofI assume, and that's why Brandy making

me miss so many because I wouldlove to see what Sony would do opposite
Brandy on this trip. That's terrifying. They would some somebody would break something

these ladies, but I just know, like just give her, give her

Brandy just being a straight up fool. Yes, I mean I thought it

was very entertaining. I wouldn't goaround doing that. But no, it's
mortifying if you're in the room.But i'm TV, it's like, well,
there's Brandy, but now and Evaseems to like Brandy. But she
was right. Vicky had it outfor Brandy from the moment she walked in
the house. She didn't want toknow from her. She thought she was
disgusting. Like you said before,she's saying to Phaedrik, she had it

out for her, and so anylittle thing would have set her off.
I think you mean Vicky, Yeah, Vicky. Yeah, Well Vicky with
this whole coffee reader situation again,not on board with this either. Not
on board with this either. Whenthey left the table, she said,

have a good time. You canstill just kind of go with the flow

I still want to go back tothis situation with the lesbian I laughed out
loud when they had that moments earlier, and her asking like because she asked

in such an earnest way, likeshe genuinely wants she just convinced. Yeah,
And I don't know, just asa certed special kind there's a special
kind end meaning Brandy not lesbians.Brandy, sure, well you know,
but when Tama said who, WhenTama said, well, because she's a
part time lesbian, Tamer, whydo you care? What does everyone care?

I mean Tama's We've watched her andnaked making out with women on the
show before, haven't Yes, yeah, so I mean we've also some Brandy
naked in a pool kiss saying thatawful housewife Carlton remember that one though.
I mean, there's not a lotof blue sky between Tamera and Brandy.
No, and also like what whoare you to judge? And by the
way, again she's drunk. Shesaid something stupid and I I just don't

think it was as horrible as hertalking about how Russell affected her, Like
I just don't. I don't knowwhy. Also, the chef didn't seem
to care and her husband didn't seemto care. They were just like these

intrigued. It was a quick pleaselike some producer like Airmark that like,

let's get back to that, becauseI'm very curious what her questions are going
to be. Yeah. Well,she, like I said before, she
was giving us. She kept beinglike, oh, this is from this,

just like the rest of us.And I think that's part of the reason
why she's fun to watch is becauseshe knows what's fun to watch because she

Tamra did not take this very well. I was wondering how the reaction and

wants to hear that, you knowwhat I mean, especially for Brandy.
Oh true. So Fader and Eva, uh, they're they're really there for

Brandy's ready to go to the stripclub and they're like like these bitches,
leave them alone. We're going tothe strip club and like actually want to
talk to you about that, andshe's like you want to go out and

Brandy. I can't even I can'tbring myself to be so angry with

Next, Brandy tells Taylor again toshut the f up when she comes
to the tablet. It really kicksoff and Taylor just rides this meame like
she's like going in on Brandy,and Brandy's just like so amused. Man's
again She's like a fan. Watchwas time I wrote that she's the biggest

fan, and she said all Icould think about was the pointing meme and
she I thought of that before shesaid it. Every time she would say
something that I was like, ohyou know what that's like, or oh
they're referring to this time, shealready knew she watches the show. Brilliant.
I love that they were able tobring that into the show because it's
such I mean, that meme islike world no, and I mean,
like to find a way to bringthat in and to cut from her yelling

it was just so great because itreally wasn't even about that fight in that
moment. It was literally just abouthow absurd this is, which I love.
It was what Jill Zarin wishes herentrance was yes, Jill set it
up to this. This was yes, this was real, and it's just
that is just how Taylor talks topeople or yells at people yes, and

then they all get up from thetable and then like they're cool, but
this is a rollercoaster show Tamer likeum of Taylor kind of like embraces and
laughs with Brandy for a minute,like I don't know, I don't know
how they go from one thing tothe next, but that's that's classic Rony,
Like they have these things and thenten minutes later they're throwing it back

like it turned out a dime.But you gotta love it. The things
that Ramona has said to people onRony is so unforgiving. I would probably
break down and cry if she saidthem to me. I would never speak
to that person again. The factthat they're all just friends, it's you
know, I love well. Ilove her No. When she was I

mean, I don't know why I'mtalking about un right now except that I
love it. But when she wasscreaming at Bethany on the bridge about how
she was going to screw up hershe screwed up her life, Ramona talking
to Bethany like these are then theywere friends again, Like these women are
Teflon. They until they're not anymore, or until they're fired or paused from

the show. New York is Teflon. I think someone like New Jersey if
you look at them the wrong Imean that New Jersey Beverly Hills. I
think if you look at them thewrong way, or they talk about a
room where they're like dead tea orsomething. I mean, that's very minute
drama for me on that show.Oh yeah, they have nothing else,
Yeah, they have nothing else butNew York. I mean you can Bethany

called Luanna, you f everybody,You're a slut, and they showed it
in the episode last episode. Yeah, and then they're outside sharing a cigarette
or something. I mean, it'slike the magic of blue Stone Manner.
It just kind of magic. Youhit reset and then these people make the
same damn comment, some mistakes andthen they apologize and then you hit reset
again. It's just like that rollCuster. You gotta love it. And

did you find Bluestone Manner spooky?Um? Not so much, but I
did love that moment where they shotVicky thought that chandelier at the drip design
choice. I don't find it spooky, but I do find it very full,
very maximalist. Yes, I wouldnot want to be in that house
alone at night. I don't needall that square footage man too many ways

to get in age. Yeah,let's get into our final thoughts. Okay,
how let you go first? Ohthis I got. So much happened
in this episode. Again, chockfull. They didn't waste any time.
The only times I wasn't having agreat time was well, first of course
anti Bax stuff, sound bath andthe ice cream, but everything other than

that. So for those reasons Igive it a B plus. But um,
and a little too long, justa little too much yelling? Yes,
a little too long. How manytimes are we going to listen to
Brandy tell people to shut the fup? Like? It was a little
repetitive with that. Uh. Butif you're a Brandy fan, this is
the show to watch because it's allabout Brandy, you know, and the

oc it was all about Vicky inthe end, because it was she was
just so freaking controversial, and likeVicky love her haters. There's a lot
of going around her that creates drama. Brandy is another great example of that.
Right, So I mean they deliverwhat about you? Uh? Mine
will is definitely this moment I couldcatch this. Brandy is in that like

addict thing that they're doing, likethe confessionals, Like, oh yeah confessionals.
Yeah, very odd. She's therein a not well bitched sweatshirt and
I'm just wondering, Diddrinta give theseto the women in the past. I
tell you, that's exactly what Ithought. Because, by the way,
there was there was a mum thatsaid clip clip clip. Um, she's
trying to do something with the chillpill like she's all about the merch.

man, or you're branding clip clipclip. I mean it's a little much,
but I give branding credit or puttingit on, because I don't think
Vicky's gonna put that on. It'salmost like advertising or or somebody else.

horrible channel top that looked like itwas ironed on. I don't know.
Don't get me started on Chanelle.I can't. Yeah, there's there were
some fashion choices, not all good, but you know. I shout out
to Paja, who looked slammed atthat dinner at the coffee reading. She's
beautiful, singlet of her. Shewould score us. She came prepared,

she knew the assignment, she preparedfor the assignment, she executed it,
and so I missed her. Andyes, she is so problematic, but
