From the podcast Grant's Rants Hollywood Talk. It's Grant's Rand Small Talk. Let
the rundown begin. We're here foranother episode of The Real House Sives,
Ultimate Girls Trip x Wives Club andenjoining me to run down at all.
Ali Cohen, welcome back, Hello, thank you for having me again.

(00:25):
Let's do it, Season two,Episode four, Speak Easy and Act Tough.
I have so many thoughts on thelatter half of this episode. But
this was a full day, LikeI feel like I'm kind of going through
this trip with them. Yes,and like I said last time, with
the timestamp, I think that that'show they want us to feel. They

(00:46):
want us to feel the day moving. Yes, I feel like I'm going
from activity to activity. I thinkit'd be great if they had a free
day or like a free afternoon.Like it's too too much, Like like
even I feel anxiety, like, okay, we need ever we're gonna call.
Everyone needs to do twelve o'clock,Like that means like you you have
to take a shower and get ready, Like it's like, oh, it's
two. It's more scheduled than whatI would like. For sure, I

(01:07):
prefer to have a little bit offreedom on my vacation, but they're trying
very hard to make good television here. I thought this episode, as opposed
to the last one, which Ifelt to be a downer, really pepped
me up. I really had agood time with it. Yeah. Yeah,
this one had gave you everything. It's it really. It gave you
a little bit of history of feuds, It gave you current feuds. It

(01:30):
gave you laughs, crying, drama, the start of a fight that we're
going to see the rest of whichI am a fan of. Yes,
and even Brandy, I feel likewe got a little bit of a break
from her this week. It wasn'tall about what Brandy said this week,
right, and Taylor was back, she woke up. Yes, Yeah,
I enjoyed her at this episode alot. You started off the show with

(01:53):
Jill making her famous chocolate chip bananabread that no one has ever heard of.
I haven't, And this is justbasically my point of view. This
is because she's bitter she wasn't includedin that lasagna bake off, That's what
I think probably, so now sheneeds to go into the kitchen and be
like, Okay, everybody moved,Now it's my turn. Go ahead,
Now you know we've woken up,and I say we've woken up. We

(02:15):
start the episode with Jill for thepast few episodes, and it's like a
squawking bird. It's real rough. She's like, uh huh, you know
you might die and go to heavenbecause I have this. It's my famous
banana bread chocolate chips. Like sheis that morning person. She's that like
person, like at the end ofthe bed, like, let's get ready
for the day. Let's what we'regonna do. This brand do that.

(02:36):
That's not me, that's not God. Now please go in the other room.
Please, she's rough. Brandy wakesup to an early morning text.
She's sending it out to Eva,commenting and apologizing. We're calling calling Eva's
husband a man Giana. We're backto that, right. Eva still cool
about it, She's just she claimsshe's just confused about it. But I

(02:59):
mean, what's thirty confused about? It? Was? It was an insult,
right, it was yeah, withthe emoticon of the sad face and
then her Brandy's very strange explanation ofwhat she was saying, like she really
tried to twist it around, beinglike I'm just saying like he does so
much in the house and helps youwith the kids. Like it was a
sad explanation for sure. It madeno sense whatsoever. No, and she

(03:23):
tried to like say like, wellthat's how my excisand was I'm like what
like no, like he was aman giant, Like we don't know what
that means. Oh God, NowDorinda, she cannot control herself throughout the
whole episode, but especially with thisdrobics. Wait when not at the actual
dromics, but like she's she's upanother morning person, up and ready to
go. This is her moment. And I gotta say, Dorinda to me

(03:46):
has gone down like two pegs afterwatching this episode. Exactly what I will
say is I fought. I rememberI believe loving Dorinda or at least liking
Dorinda. And now and I thinkI said this last time. Rotten to
the core. She is really awfuland she behaves so terribly. She treats

(04:06):
people so terribly. It's too much. It's way too much. Yeah,
like it's maybe it's too much tohave a good thing. Like we like
Durrenda's glen line as we like whenshe pops in and out and like says
something crazy at the dinner table. But like this is like almost like all
Durrenda all the time, and she'sone calling the shots and making the itinerary,
and it's her show. Basically, she's running the show. She really

(04:29):
for all intents and purposes, she'sout there doing these activities and like,
god forbid again another day. Ifthe women don't feel like doing it,
if they're not right in front ofher and dressed and ready to go,
it's I know you're gonna get toit. But her rules are horrendous.
You know, you have guests inyour home, you treat them nicely,
you don't treat them like they're youknow, doing something wrong by being there

(04:51):
and living. It's very upsetting thewhole It upset me personally. Yeah,
Like she had to go upstairs andget the plaque, and even Tambor was
like, yeah, I got it, I got it. Like I totally
understand Tamber in this situation because it'slike you're being spoken down, to talk
down, to look down upon yourguest and so One's house. It's embarrassing.

(05:14):
And on top of it, shehas to come up like this with
the list and go like this isactually like here it is in print,
but this is what you didn't see. And like, you know, I
don't think it was that serious forTamra. I think she was more embarrassed.
But it turned really serious, veryso quickly. Duransa going off on
her, saying, you people,I don't know how you live like Then
it got across the line with thatdurned across the line completely. I just

(05:39):
gasped. I gasped while I waswatching it. She's she was saying,
you're being rude and condescending. Shewas being so rude and condescending. Yep,
and she goes in houses like this, what an embeadist like that?
Is so awful. And we're alwaystalking about class on these shows and for
me, for me, what I'vegrown up with is that class is making

(06:04):
people feel comfortable and making people feelgood about themselves. That's being a classy
human being. Class isn't about ranking. As far as I'm concerned, I
think that she is very confused aboutwhat class means. And just because you
have a nice house, that doesn'tmake you a good person. We'll say
it with me. Money can't buya class, sure can't, my friends,

(06:27):
Yes, I mean Tamra, reallyI felt for this so it I
was wondering. I was like, okay, these two playing the house.
I was game, but Tamar criedand I don't. I'm sure some people
think this was all for TV andcameras. For me, I choose to
go along with the rod for theride with this one. I don't know.
What do you think I would havecried? I would have cried I
the way that she was speaking tothem, and not only and we don't

(06:47):
know exactly how long she was yellingat them because it kind of did a
time loop, but she was yellingat them for a while. It seems
she was really berating them. Yeah, and like then she turned it around
on them. It was like, now Dorinda was the confused victim about right
they were saying to her, andit's like no, no, no,

(07:09):
no no, you can't like runthe show and then say like, oh
my god, but you guys reallymade me feel this way. After she
made them feel a certain way. It's like gaslighting. It's complete gaslighting,
and it's not doing it very well. She's not a good gaslighter. But
she also then she disinvites Tamera.Yes she does. She says, you
don't have to come. You don'thave to come then yeah, okay,

(07:29):
well then I wouldn't go either.I'd be like or not. I feel
like, all right, I don'tTamra, I think look the best for
I loved her look, so Iwas, you know, she came prepared,
but it didn't work out. Butthen I have to laugh because there
must be some poor camera go whojust hangs out upstairs at the top of
that staircase. Because how many houselives have we seen come and go from

(07:53):
that one hallway down those steps,up those steps. They're always there,
ready to go, and with theirshoes on. Oh real you well,
they'll say, like the shoe thingis out, oh the oh yeah,
the act the characters of Housewives.Yeah, I don't know about the crew,
but Tamras started up called during tooa bitch in her own house.

(08:13):
Now that that was kind of likeballsy, even for Tamra, you know,
but I mean Dorenda was being abitch. Where's the lie? A
good point? Going back to theshoe thing. I do know what happens
with the cameraman um I saw inthe first episode. Drenda makes them put

(08:33):
little booties over their shoes. Mm. Okay, well that's appropriate. Yeah,
Like I think that's kind of common. Like, that's fine, that's
what it look. It is yourhouse. I understand that you want it
to look a certain way. I'mfine with that. Yeah, but when
you have guests, you expect alittle bit of a mess because you want
them to feel at home. Exactly. Yeah, Dorenda just being super condescending.

(08:54):
Um, just like it's it's justreally a bad, such a way
all around. Then we cut toeveryone leaving forwarderobics. Jill's Aaron wanted everyone
to know she was wearing Dior.Okay, m all right, Jill,
No one's impressed. No, nineteenseventy it was like the fifteen thousand.

(09:15):
Can you believe that? Yeah?Yeah, it was. She really trying
to recreate that moment. I mean, I wonder, Jill, it didn't
happen when you walked in and triedto recreate Scary Island. Stop just stop
trying to make it happen. Yes, So Vicky and Tamar won't go to
this, like I think both ofus are in stick. I don't think
either of us would, And that'ssomebody's Vicky's not going, Tamera's not gonna
go. Vicky Shure isn't gonna shackher behind down there. Absolutely yeah,

(09:37):
so she's not gonna do that,And um, what else happens? Dorinda's
actually outside doing deerobics with a headseton with four girls in front of her.
Yeah, it's a lot. It'sall for the show. It's all
for cameras. Oh yeah. AndI'm telling you she's not coming across very
good. It's not that cute,Dorenda. I hate to say it,
it's not at all. It's not. I work out with this Obe fitness

(10:01):
app thing, website app. Sheis on it doing duerobic sometimes. I've
never tried a class now I especiallywill not. But you're like me,
you vote with your dollars, likeyou're not going to support go absolutely not.
And if if people don't take theclass, they'll stop hiring her.
So I'm not saying wait, I'mnot saying don't hire her. She's she

(10:24):
deserves to get paid. She providesa lot of entertainment, So go ahead.
I'm not as a consumer. Yeah, as a consumer, you choose
to not do that, that's totallyfine, you know me, I don't
feed into anyone's ego. Like, yes, So there's no way. But
I mean, I don't know.I'm I still I want to like Dorinda,
but man, she's making it reallydifficult in this episode. So what

(10:46):
else happens? Um, classic Vickyand Tamra Hi jakes. There's a leaf
on the carpet. Oh my god, do make you makeup on the Like
all of a sudden, everything islike too much, Like they can't.
They're not comfortable. I get itthough, because at the end of the
you are in someone else's home, right. I love the classic Vicky Tamra
hijinks forms my heart. They werepitch perfect this episode. I had fun

(11:09):
with them. I miss days ofyour I missed Vicky whooping it up like
she. I think that steroid shotin her butt helped. She needed it.
That in a good night's sleep anda shot of brand Deal whatever it
was. What do they have whisderverbit? Oh yeah yeah, so yeah,
that did it? So Durrenda saysthat, Um, while they're doing
the draw bis. In her interview, she says that someone is trying to

(11:33):
unfun her day, and I'm like, that's kind of you. You literally
said, don't come, You're notmaking it very fun. Yeah, I
don't really see, Like I don'tknow, I find it's like your behavior
is unfun. It's actually like unprofessional. But okay, and I don't want
to come on this podcast and justhate on Durnda. But like now that
we're really getting into it, I'mlike, we're gonna Yeah, so Drenda

(11:56):
did tell Tamra like you said, you don't need to go, so I
don't know what she was so upsetof out. Then everybody has to get
to the next costume to go upthis tea party. It's getting a little
much. I like again, likeI said last episode, I like the
little moments, but like you know, like Phaedre and like Taylor, we'll
have like a little side conversation likenow it's getting to be like kind of

(12:18):
like how the Houselims are now verylike event fight, event fallout like but
and I think about the way Ilike to live in my own life when
I'm going to things. Okay,I'll do a theme that's fun. A
theme for everything is exhausting. It'sexhausting to do, it's exhausting to watch.
No wonder why they want to takea nap. Yeah, they only

(12:41):
have ninety minutes to do so exactlyquick. She's like, oh it,
Bluestone matter. You want to fallasleep at four pm to get ready for
the next events, like you haveto. You woke us up, well,
Jill woke us up squawking, andthen we've had to doderobics. We
need a nap. If I wason this trip, I would need to
take I would need to bring Cfour with me, and I would need
to bring um like the adult pedialight just because you got to recover fast.

(13:05):
You need energy and then you needto recover and there's nope, nope.
So this cheap party is um supposedto emulate Taylor's famous party from way
back on in season one. Whocan't not remember? Who can forget that
party? The fifty thousand dollar birthday? Um? I remember that was very
controversial with like she made a goodpoint. She's like, that's nothing nowadays.

(13:28):
Kim Kardashian just like booked a jet. I think she has her own
jet now, so maybe it wasn'tas costly, but she did something for
North's birthday. They had to likefly somewhere. Things are crazy now,
things are crazy, and um theyactually leave bluestone manner for this, which
I was glad. I was like, I would be relieved because I was
like, I need to get outof this house. I can't keep going

(13:48):
to the backyard like it's big brother, like every other activity. Yeah yeah,
yeah. So now what do youthink over here? Do you think
that Vicky, because this is somethingthat was proposed, do you think that
Tamra, Vicky, and Dorinda arefighting to be kind of top dog because
they were the most recently fired. The fact that Brandy's the one who said
it. I said, Wow,Brandy may be onto something, is what

(14:11):
I wrote. Because they are,It's true, and they all want back
in. So they're trying so hardto impress, but they're not. In
some ways they are, in someways they're not. But Dorinda is a
monster and needs to be safe.Yeah. I think they're all trying.
I think they are, but Igotta say Dorinda is by far leaps and

(14:35):
bounce more thirsty and hungry for it, followed by maybe Tamra and then Vicky.
Yeah, well Vicky, I thinkit had she not been sick,
she would have shown up a littlebit more at the beginning. Well,
they're at this beautiful estate, andI love that Taylor mentioned that it was
designed by Stamford White. He designedBlue Stone Matter, but also from the

(14:56):
Gilded Age, responsible for so muchwatch in New York City, so much
in the Northeast and Newport. Youknow, just a truly iconic architect and
designer and just you know, trulyinfluential and even in architecture today. And
you know, a real American figure. I like to learn. Yeah,

(15:18):
I like to learn these things.I learned something later that I'll bring up.
Yeah. Yeah, So I wasimpressed. I was really impressed by
that. That even Taylor mentioned that. I was like, Okay, Nick,
And now I'm more of an appreciationfor the setting. Yeah, you
know, not necessarily blue style.Manager. Could you imagine that he'd be
turning over in his grave if heknew what was happening in that house?
Now she's overstuffed couches galore. Ohyeah, Tamra feels very out of place

(15:41):
at this this tea party situation, and during it just feels like they've just
made them mountain out of a molehill. It's all on them. They've
just totally done too much, teamtoo much. And I'm like, girl,
pick up a mirror when you're gonnaspeak, please, Because it's getting
to be a very, very hypocriticgoal. But Duranda does feel that Vicky

(16:02):
and Tameram are doing do things separately, that they want to be off on
their own doing things separately. Idon't know, do pick up on that.
No. I think that Drinda reallyhurt Tamra's feelings. Vicky was not
going to leave Tamra and that's justthe way it is. They are friends.

(16:23):
The loyalty is there. I'm allabout loyalty. You need that friend
that's going to just be buy yourside and you know, just be team
you as much as possible. AndI admire that in their relationship. And
yes, and I admired Vicki forsaying it was my yogurt, yes,
because it's like, yeah, you'reyou were starting to yell at me.

(16:47):
Tamers the one who threw Marco underthe bus which snitches get stitches, by
the way, and said he broughtit to us. But I think Vicky
had handled herself so beautifully this episode. I just again, I think she's
feeling better. You know, Iknow that you're not a met like any
fan, so I think this isthis is our big words. Yeah,
I will always give credit where creditis due. If somebody is behaving themselves

(17:11):
in a way that I think isyou know, the way I would maybe
treat people, or the way I'dwant to be treated, I will I
will give them that absolutely. Well, in this moment, Eva would not
agree because she thinks that Vicky isthe only conflict at the moment. And
yeah, she didn't get all theinformation. She she wasn't stayed out of
it. Yeah, but you know, basically Director thinks that Vicky should have

(17:36):
you know, stayed out of thewhole fight with Tammera, which again they're
friends. Like that's not how thisworks, Like you know, it's not
like that's just not how these gamesare played. No, Yeah, and
then she just feels like, uh, she didn't show you're into enough respect
by not attending the deerobics. Now, come on, who cares? That

(17:57):
is like it is not a distressedback to all thing, and that's a
snub maybe right, you know, might be a little insulting if you want
to internalize it that way, butit's like not really that bad that disrespect.
No, And you know she's actinglike she worked so hard to put
this together. Some staff members putsome small trampolines outside, that's all.

(18:19):
And then he diderobics, which youdo. Yeah, so she should be
appreciated. There was drama about aroundthis because it means more screen time for
the deerobics. If everything went perfectly, that would have been four minute segment
like they did with them the relayrace on the radar. Yeah, so

(18:40):
this actually made this aerobics a thing, so she actually got more screen time
out of it. So she knowshow this works. So Jill, now
at this point in the tea party, talks about after ten years of being
a house life, she doesn't feellike she needs to be in every fight.
Now I've watched these shows. WasJill a ten year housewife? When

(19:02):
was she on the show for tenyears? I don't know, she hasn't
been. I didn't even think aboutit, but yeah, he's been in
the universe. But I mean, like, I know, she's been vying
to be on for ten years.Let's be real, she's been off the
show more than she was on thisfor sure, right, I didn't think
about it. But then we haveour gorgeous Phadra. She was like,

(19:26):
I'm just so Vicky's just eating. She goes, you are so hungry.
I love it this episode. Yeah, we haven't talked too much about her.
Yeah, but she comes up,she comes up. I just I
love the looks and I want togive her a shout out later. I'm
fantastic. I thought she looked amazingdoing derobics and just doing her own thing.

(19:48):
Yeah, oh yeah, totally herown thing, and was like,
I love that about her. Nowwhen it comes to all the situation with
Jill at this at this tea party, she is complimenting herself, patting herself
on the back. I'm staying outof this fight, only to quickly go
to Durnda and some tar Tara reallyneeds a hug. Then she gets up,
Tim, I'm gonna give you abig hug. And then she goes,
you know what, Juranda, didyou hear that? Did you hear

(20:10):
that? You know what? Shejust told me that she could really use
a hug right now. And thenso Durnda goes in for the fakest hug
on television, and you know it'sall because Jill got involved again, right
right, And then of course somethingsets Jill off and it was it's just
Drenda's like snide comment and then allof a sudden, we're in a new
world with Jill saying how Durrenda hasnot been good good to her and I

(20:33):
loved that change. Yes, Iwant to jump to that. Let's just
ye make sure that I don't haveanything else in between. Uh blah blah
blah. What's happening here? Ohyes, so we can get we can
cut right to that. But soit's Taylor and Jill by the pool.
They just were like, we're noteven gonna bother napping, like forget it.
They need like a minute to themselves. So, um, yeah,

(20:56):
what happened here? So apparently Dorindagot emotional about Richard and the car ride
back and then Jill basically said thatshe the Drenda has a lot of displaced
anger and okay, peel the curtainback. She really feels like she rolled
the red carpet out to be friendswith Dorinda and that Drenda didn't really reciprocate,

(21:18):
basically paraphrasing, I have so manyfeelings because first of all, the
do your sunglasses she was wearing moreridiculous. That's the first feeling. But
second of all is Jill makes itseem that she is the friend to have
first of all, so she like, she really thinks she's the catch,
and look, maybe she's a greatfriend. I'm not friends with her.

(21:40):
I don't know her, but shereally expects a lot of people, and
I appreciate that she feels that therecould have been a connection with her and
Drenna over their past husbands. Itotally understand that, but it's not required.
And if you're not super close friends, you're just not super close friends.

(22:03):
That's what it sounds like to methat, yeah, Jill thinks that
she really gave duringt to the timeafter Richard passed, and that you know,
kind of Dorinda kicks her down thecurb, down down the street a
little bit like all right later,I'll see you later. So she finds
she used the word dismissive. Butbasically for me, Jim, Jill insinuates
that Dorinda is just a user andjealous of her because she's in a relationship.

(22:27):
So I think somewhere in the middleof the truth. But right I'm
always laughing on these in it arelike they're just jealous of me or everything
that I have and everything that Iam. You know, whatever you have
to tell yourself, I guess,Yeah, that's like the insecurity speaking and
then you got to kind of pullit up. But I think it's kind
of somewhere in the middle. ButI do feel bad about Bobby. He

(22:47):
was so sweet and here they lovedeach other, you could tell. Yeah,
yeah, I'm just wondering what Jillmeans by like I let a lot
of things go, you know,I just like i'd like to know.
Yeah, yeah, I'm not surprisedthat she's growing up this kind of like
what seems to be kind of likea non existent history, like if for
Jill, it all comes back tothe show. She brought her in for

(23:08):
season four so she could sit atthat event, right, that's what she
she discovered Dorinda, and the reasonwhy everyone's there today is because of Jill.
Like you know, it always goesback to the dynamic pre show and
post show for Jill. In mypoint of view, yes, if we
were psychoanalyzing Jill, I'm sure thiswould go back to her childhood. But

(23:29):
she needs so much attention, Sheneeds kudos. She needs to be wearing
the best. She needs to begetting the best. She needs for providing
the best. She needs to getmake the most delicious you know been Ada
bread with childs. I rub,It's like, okay, okay, yep,
she really there's something. There's somethinggoing on there. My mom has
a Jill Zarn rug in A pictureof her face is on the bottom of
the rug. Of every rug, there's a little sticker of it of Jill

(23:52):
Zaren's face. I love that fact. That's very funny. Yeah, she
needs to be in, she needsto be there. She is. It
is some sort of a compulsion. She needs to be involved. And I
bet, I bet if she goesto parties and there is a Jill's Arn
ruggers, she'll flip it over justto show see. Look it's yeah,

(24:14):
yeah. I passed on the highwayyesterday a Zaron Fabric's sign. I was
like, Oh, she's everywhere. She's everywhere, even including this house.
Everywhere. Uh now, prohibition thisthey asked them in about this, and
I loved Brandy's response, why wouldyou even want to live without alcohol?

(24:36):
It's that should be Brandy's tagline, epitaph the whole thing. I mean her,
how does she exercises? One?Two three? I liked that a
lot um right, But you knowit's it's a misnomer, isn't it a
prohibition party that means there is noalcohol. She should it should have been
like a speakeasy party. Yes,And I knew right away that anything we

(25:00):
to speak easy would be Juranda's idea, because she's that kind that would just
love the idea of opening up adoor with like a refrigerator front to it,
or like go making it look likeyou're going into a vending machine.
Like she's one of those types thatwould love a speak easy. Yes,
I feel like you've done one. You've done them all. You walk behind
the wall as a bar. It'scool, okay. Yeah, Like I

(25:23):
don't really think it's like so great, but I mean some people just love
the idea of like the flappers andall this. It was a really upsetting
time in history if you think aboutit, like people had just come home
from war, they were recovering, they were it was a time of people
having to drink and self soothe becausethey had PTSD. Yeah, it's just

(25:52):
a sad time. I guess Ididn't really think about it like that.
But yeah, and no alcohol, you know what I hate. And I'm
glad they didn't say this this timea Gatsby party. Oh yeah, because
has anyone read the book, notthese women. Well, of course you're
you make a good point. Ingeneral, people have these Gatsby parties and

(26:14):
it's just like just say the Roaringtwenties, because Gatsby was a tragic figure.
The book itself is very good, but it's not a fun rump.
I don't remember much of it.Should be honest with it. It's fine
if you can always go back tothe Leonardo DiCaprio newest version or Robert Redford
in the seventies. That, yeah, that one was shot in Rhode Island
a lot. I know that's stilllike a popular thing. Oh yeah about

(26:36):
in Rhode Island from the seventies. But yeah, I mean I live in
Great Neck, New York. Don'tcome for me, um, but I
live where f Scott Fitzgerald wrote GreatGatsby. Wow, there you go,
Yeah exactly, Jill would I mean, I think Durand would be very impressed
by that. I think that she. Oh, I'm sure that'd be my
first talking point. So now we'reintroduced to Bluestone Manner. Been again the

(27:00):
brand just just keep going with thebrand, and it's five year old aged
bourbon like not necessarily something for me. You know, I'm more of like
a tequila guy. So try it. Yeah, I guess when you're there,
why not. I wouldn't say no, unlike Jill, who was like
just striking diet whatever she's drinking like, she wouldn't even she hated it.
She tried it, but she herface was she like she d it,

(27:25):
hated it so much. Everybody elseseemed to love it except for it was
maybe Phaedro wasn't too into it,so someone else it tastes like gas or
something. She said. Now,Vicky, however, flip the switch.
She's into it. She loves it. She can't according to the edit,
she can't get enough of it.She woke up. That was that was

(27:45):
the moment. Yes, she doesnot want to work as much, apparently,
I've I've just always known her asjust being constantly working. And um,
that look like she wants peace inher life. And I really got
this. She's kind of scared ofwhat's next. She knows like on the
other side of this trip. Yeah, there's a lot of unknowns. I
can relate to this, especially rightnow this time in my life. You

(28:08):
know, I'm kind of keeping myselfbusy, but like, oh, there's
a lot of stuff on the otherside when the summer kind of wraps,
like I'm a little like so Iget that sheet when you have to go
back to regular life, like she'sgoing to be alone again, she has
to sore it out her life onceagain. And I can understand the fear
around that. Transitions are terrifying anywhich way you look at it. And

(28:30):
she just got out of a relationship, like we mentioned it before, and
she clearly wasn't seeing Steve Lodge thatmuch because he was living in Mexico,
I guess, but a breakup isdevastating, and especially once she was with
him for five years. So youknow again, I'm I am giving credit
work credits due I think she's doinga good job. It's crazy the way

(28:55):
alcohol works, especially I guess bourbon. I don't really know much about what
it as to you separately from otheralcohol. But she was so high and
she was so low. She reallyshe went right down to the depths and
was so emotional. I've been there. Yeah, I think it's relatable,
and I think this moment may changesome minds about Vicky, who's only been

(29:17):
painted as like a bitch and paintedas like a miserable. Where now they're
okay. Now finally for those whoaren't familiar with Vicky and they're finally seeing
the other side to correct. Yeah, a burlesque dancer enters the scene.
Randy loved it definitely. I thinkeveryone agreed. She had like the perfect
body, beautiful, she's gorgeous.Yeah, and um what else happened?

(29:38):
Dorinda and uh Drinda and Tamar wereinspired I have I don't know. I
guess they were inspired by ohad naked. Yes, yes, I was so
embarrassed. Drenda did not need tocome out with her bra like that.
It was just not that was soembarrassing. It was like mom's stop,

(30:00):
you know, at the dinner tablewith her underwear out. I mean,
I like seeing to have a goodtime, but like it was a little
much. I mean that verbon theyI don't know how much they had,
but it seemed like a lot.And on top of that, cocktails.
I have a question for you though, best outfit. Oh that's a really
good question. I wanted to askyou this too. What'd you think of

(30:22):
the looks? Um? I meanfader that I was gonna I mentioned her
good, Yeah, she looks everylook is amazing. I also loved Trenda's
outfit. I thought the green wasgreat. It was a very classy She
did look good in that, yes, and took it off. Yeah,
up until when she took it off. Yes, yeah, it looks great.

(30:45):
Yeah it did. It was agood choice. I'm trying to think
of, like, who else.I mean, Vicky tried with the heels
um oh that she almost fell andI would have I would have laughed.
Evie very evil, very into heroutfit. Out. I don't know,
Fine, I like Theeves out butshe, I mean, she's so beautiful,
she can't really look bad in anything. She's a model. For gonna

(31:07):
say, but yeah, I didn'tcare for camera with that Party City outfit.
Yeah it was not a flattering lookfor her. Yeah, it just
wasn't the best look for her.But you know, this was their chance
to all wear pants, so theytook care they did. Some people did
exactly. It's a pajama party.According to Brandy and Jill Enters wearing Ralph

(31:30):
Lauren. Just in case if youwere wondering, I'm wearing out Ralph Lauren.
Now very good. We can alldo that, most of us,
by the way, like that's notreally any you know, it's not is
it that fancy? No? Ifeel like I can get that at Macy's.
Right, well, it's not aLauren has different levels of so I

(31:52):
think the top. Yeah, soshe's probably has like the Purple Collection,
you know, he has Lauren byRalph Laura in and then it goes up
and up and up. So yes, Robreen is good, okay, good,
good good. I don't know ifthis was like an end cap at
Macy's situation and we're like, whoa, okay Joe, but okay, I'm
sure with her it is right. No, she spends the most on everything

(32:14):
because she thinks it makes it thebest. Yes, Padre is parenting on
the phone. Your son's getting hisphone taken away. Loved him. And
Dorinda and Jill are about to talkabout the origin of their friendship and I
was like, oh, this isgonna be unstable and quickly changed because then
Brandy wants to turn up Tamarra andBrandy pull in this poor ber least dancer

(32:37):
who's like eating her free meal forfree dinner at the table and she's like
basically like I'm done for the night. Yeah, but I guess we're not.
She came on it and then tamRad is totally topless. She said,
I guess, I guess she didn'thave Pascy's on or whatever. But
like, I feel like she knew. I feel like she just I don't

(32:58):
know, I feel like she youknow what we didn't talk about though,
Um, while the burlesque was goingon, Brandy would not leave poor Marco
alone. And Marco turns out isquite the snack. Yeah, Marco's fit,
He's cute. He that poor guy. I hope he gets a raise.
I would like to see more ofhim. I like when he has

(33:19):
a confessional. Yeah, I'm tryingto decipher, like what team he plays
for on this show. I thinkhe's a straight guy. I think he's
straight. I can't really tell.I don't know, but I think he's
funny, and I like there's alot of patience to deal with, so
much patience. I don't know whyyou'd work for one of them, the
housewives that seems so soul crushing.Eva has this radio show that she's been

(33:43):
doing. It's four hours a day. I don't know, how is she?
How is she doing this? Howis she doing this? Girl's trip?
Navigating this smoking weed and then doinga four hour radio show from that
little bedroom. I'm proud of her. She gets a tone she's doing this,
and then Jill, always up fora guest spot, wants to be
on the show, and I thinkshe wants to be on more badly than

(34:07):
she is portraying herself. For sure. She even wants to sit on the
bed to listen just in case ifthere's a moment up. You think she's
gonna keep quiet, Absolutely not. She's She's sitting on that bed and she's
going I know something, you know, Yeah, yeah, Yeah, she'll
give dirt on the thing. She'llplug the masks with Ali, Yeah,

(34:29):
for sure. But Duranda's response wasnot commensurate with the request. Yeah,
she scolds her basically in front ofeverybody, and like, don't tell her
that, don't don't be by thewith that. I just want to do
a thing. Leave here alone. It's like it was. It was not
good. Jill then vents to Phager, who's still on the phone, and

(34:52):
she says that she felt completely dresseddown by Duranda. And then Duranda storms
over because you know, she's watchingto see where the cameras are going to
move next, and Jill just saysshe's going to bed and goes upstairs.
But it continues. Jill is justreally upset. Now what do you think?
Is Jill just overtired? Is shereally upset? Is this for the

(35:15):
cameras? I have a lot.I have questions because as soon as Dorinda
did that, she said something atthe tea that changed Jill. Jill decided
I'm angry with Dorenda, and thenDorinda did this and she was like,
now the gloves are off and I'mgonna go after her. I think that's

(35:37):
what happened. I wonder though,if she came into the situation knowing that
she had that in the you know, in the back of her head where
she was like, well, Imight fight with Drenda because she wasn't there
for me after Bobby. I'm wonderingenough. That scene by the pool was
a pickup because it's awfully convenient thatJill and dolor talked about Jill's relationship with

(35:58):
Dorinda and kind of our shadow thatthings weren't all great and wonderful, and
then now we're seeing this play outvery well. Could be you know,
we know how this stuff is made. That's true. M Well, Dorinda
is, um what what what?Jill is upset. She says she's given
to rent a pass but doesn't feelsupported by our friend meeting that Joanna doesn't

(36:20):
support Jill, and I'm like,oh, here we go into you do
not support other women? When werethese shows ever about supporting other women?
And Andy Kohen make sure that theytear each other down. He makes sure
that they destroy each other for money, not exactly building each other up.
No, we're not here too,We're not here to do that. We're
here to I'm not saying. I'mnot saying I agree with that, by

(36:44):
the way, Oh of course not. But that's not what these shows are
like in real life. Yeah,we support women, you know I should.
Yeah, a friend, you knowwhat I don't like when when girls
are like I just got along withguys better, and it's like, well
you suck. I guess like girlsthen you don't get along with other women.
So that's not support other We donot support other women. Well,

(37:08):
these gals they're in that upstairs likeconfessional, like, I don't know what
the hell it is. It's likesome extra spare bedroom. Eve's attic.
I don't know. But Durrenda andjust now fully black out, Like that's
the slurring is every word is likejust one consonant, Like it's just like
I don't know what is happening. She's walking in and she continues to school

(37:32):
and has her finger about two inchesfrom Jill's face, and Jill's like visibly
upset, and Durrenda takes this asher moment to be drunk, slurring,
funny, aggressive Drenda that she thinkseverybody loves and I don't think a lot
of people love this version. Wedon't on this podcast. We do not,
no, no, She's acting likesuch a brat at the end of

(37:54):
the day, like if she's notgetting what she wants, she's gonna wag
her finger at you and say thatyou're not being cooperative and you're doing the
wrong thing. And she worked sohard and she made it nice and like
it's exctly. I do not carefor that. I don't care for that
whatsoever about it. Donda, Dorinda, Phaedre, Eva, Jill, even

(38:17):
Taylor, they're all in this oneshot. They just see Dorinda going in
on Jill and I actually felt badfor Jill. Padre then interrupts just yelling
the bourbon is too damn strong, and that's one way to kind of cut
through the chaos exactly. But Dorindafeels betrayed that after all they went through

(38:38):
that this is you know, thatother people are now, you know,
having to hear about their relationships thatJill turned to other people. And I
mean, I don't know, justdoesn't sound like they're that close. No.
It sounds like they were sort offriendly because of the show, and
then they stop being friends sort of, and now they're friends again because they

(38:59):
have to be. It doesn't soundlike they're clothes. No, it sounds
like they're in the same orbit.Like I don't think they're like friends,
like daily friends, weekly friends, but like they're in the same orbit.
They're in the house so ives world, they're in the upper east sides,
you know, kind of circles likeright, that's just kind of the relationship
that it is. And I've beenguilty of thinking I'm closer to friends than

(39:21):
I really am. But I mean, this is just like, I don't
know, I just don't think theyhave that kind of relationship where Duranda should
feel so upset. But here's whereDuranda completely lost me and where I've like
over her very quickly, where sheactually bullied Jill, chased her out of
that room, called her names. You know, really, Jill just total

(39:44):
wreck, just trying to get outof there, just trying to flee.
And she's stuck in the Suman's housewith cameras with drunk Duranda on her tail.
Ugly, ugly situation. Not agood look. She really is a
bully And I know that word isway overused on these shows, but that
was bullying behavior for sure. Shedid the same thing to Tinsley Mortimer too,

(40:09):
again for I had no reason.Yeah, this was not a thing.
Like if I were Joe, Iwould never call her a friend again,
like just to do that, andto do that on TV and it's
just so wrong. And I don'tknow what type of apology is going to
come of this, but it's likeso stupid at this point. They shouldn't
even bother to apologize. I don'tthink anyone is that sorry for their actions.

(40:32):
No way, No, they're they'rejust they play victims and they're not
They're not sorry. I'm surprised Jildoesn't get on the phone and call up
Gary and be like, get bossywe're out Garry, but I think joel
is Joe knows that she can usethis for more camera times, so you

(40:52):
know, she'll write it out. She's been quiet, she's been shocked,
well not quiet, but she's beenshockingly not getting into things. And she
has an advocate, she hasn't advocate, and Vicky she hasn't advocate. And
Brandy sometimes well, Brandy was talkingabout Dorinda and saying she was kind of

(41:15):
defending Dirnda. I feel like she'slike, oh, you know, she
gets over things really quick, andit's like, okay, but maybe she
shouldn't get under things so quickly either, Like it's she's she has a really
I'm sure what am I trying tosay? She's just like a toxic person.
It feels like, yeah, normallyi'd say like, well, she's

(41:36):
got all these people in our house, it must be stressful, but like,
no, these are choices she's making. Like it's just the way she's
speaking to people. It's just shehas no respect for other people, and
it's it's just shows she she caresabout herself and not really what anyone else
is feeling. Well, on thatnote, let's get into our final thoughts.

(41:58):
Final thoughts. First, yes, please okay again, this episode was
for me a breath of fresh airfrom last week. It gave me everything
I wanted. It gave me thesepetty, petty fights. It gave me
drunkenness and slurring and insanity. Marco, I think is a star coming out

(42:21):
of this. I think he reallyshould continue to be assistant to all of
these ladies. He can handle it. He colludes with the women, he
brings them yogurt. I thought that, yeah, everything, And again,
Fader was funny, and I justI loved her talking to her son.
Not that I loved that he wasbeing punished, but I loved seeing her
as a mom and those kids areso adorable, and I liked hearing his

(42:44):
little voice. And so yeah,I noticed two things. I loved seeing
Vicky when they were supposed to benapping with a computer on her lap,
working so typically. I can thinkof so many flashbacks of Vicky working at
all these Inoppera tune times and places, and so that's classic Vicky. And

(43:04):
looking at the book cover, itmake it nice. That's a lie.
She doesn't make it nice. Andit's like, that's so such. She
said, this woman's home, it'sso bitchy, but I mean, that's
Vicky and I loved well, Idon't know if I loved it, But
did you catch Eva vaping in herroom? I'm like, oh, where's
that on the sheet? I didn'tthink I didn't catch it, but I
bet that's not allowed. I know. I'm surprised there were only two rules

(43:29):
that I'm aware of, but I'msurprised of smoking and vaping was not also
listed on that right blackgard. Iguess she didn't think she had to,
but she did say mind your mannersthat was on the placard, which I
didn't like it all. I don'tknow. I don't like when people like
vape in my house or my apartmentor whatever like that. Like I don't

(43:50):
really care for that, so likeI wouldn't be I wouldn't like that person.
I wouldn't be mad. I thinkif it was cigarette smoke, I
would be like, how dare youbring up into my own? Yeah?
They do. I like it,No, not really, but you can't
smell it, so that's okay withme. M Yeah, I guess I
don't know. To me, Ijust think it's like at least asked.
I think it's presumptuous. I justtake it out. Yeah. So yeah,

(44:14):
those are my little observations. Sothat'll do it. Another episode.
O we are These must be soglad to be halfway done at this point,
at this point in the recording andthe filming, they must be like,
oh god, let's wrap it off. You want to go home.
They've said it a few times, like, when is this gonna be over?
Yeah, well, let's hope thatit improves it continue is because I

(44:37):
don't know what more I need tosee them? Do you know what more
is left? Well? I wasthinking that. But also, when we
watch Housewives, we have god knowshow many episodes of every you know,
sometimes sometimes too many. Sometimes Ifeel like we just started and then they're
over. But and I want areunion. But like, what do we
watch them do? Just go toeach other's houses. Sometimes there's a party,

(45:00):
they go out to eat, whichwe all really like. Well,
there's more like seasonal storylines where thisis kind of just like the storyline of
the day. It's so quick.Yeah, it's a real flash in the
pan and they have to fill everysecond. Yeah. Nevertheless, I'm enjoying
it. I have no regrets.I'm so glad I watched this and I'm
able to do the podcast with youand then share it. So thank you
