(00:02):
From the podcast Grant's Rants Hollywood Talk. It's Grant's Rand Small Talk. Let
the rundown continue. We're back todiscuss the final episode, the final day
of The Real Housewives also been Girls. Trup X Wives Club in the Berkshire
is joining me for the last episode. Thank you for taking this journey with
(00:23):
me, Ali, it's been it'sbeen lovely. Thank you so much for
having me. We've made it herewe are. Last episode. Wow,
what a journey. Yeah, oneepisode too long? Maybe I don't know.
Perhaps I kind of binge the lasttwo. So maybe for me it
felt kind of like a lot.But I don't know those who maybe were
(00:44):
watching week to week, maybe theyfelt like it was cut too soon.
I don't know. I didn't hearthat from anybody. Okay, I've been
in the benefit of the doubt. But yeah, that's nice of you.
We're good. Let's get into it. Drenda is saying she went from making
it nice too, I don't giveit you know what? And it's a
fun line. But Dorando, weknow you give a lot more than you
(01:07):
know what m and she proves itagain and again. Yeah, I mean
I think it's funny. In theory, because I'm like, if it were
true, it would be funny, but like, it's just a line at
this point that Drane is giving us. She cares way too much about this.
I mean itinerary is out yep.So they're going canoeing. They're having
(01:30):
lunch at the Chester with a statewhatever that is, oh, and studio
whatever that means. And uh,then dinner at a Shaker village which oddly
describe which we'll get into. Butum, Brandy, We're treated to Brandy
the same outfit from the night before, the reunion dress. She got her
money's worth out of it. Shefound it a way to make that Macy's
(01:53):
dress work for her. I don'tknow what's Macy's dress, saying she thought
it was very funny, though itwasn't as funny as she thought. Yeah,
it's a little like what do theycall that when you come you know,
like you come home from the nightbefore. Yeah, which is what
Jill said. And she's like,I have no shame, she said,
Oh Jill, Jill, with herbad comedy skills. It was a joke.
(02:15):
Yeah, good point. But elseJill here is still trying to make
banana bread happen. I wrote downI said it in much color more colorful
language. I was like, Jill'sapping banana bread. Yep, Vicky's wearing
a turban. This is a newlook for her. I couldn't really figure
it out, but they sorted itout. Um, what else happens?
(02:38):
Um they get into a conversation aboutfeet and toes. I don't care to
talk about feet. I have nointerest. But what I will say,
and I do think we have tojust talk about it, is that,
Um, Jill's musus incident is horrible. I really felt bad, and God
bless him, like may he rest. Bobby's response was horrible, and that
(03:00):
really bothered me. I do wantto say that, Yeah, what's all
happened? The decided to suck hertoes? I just think that's so odd
and presumptuous. But like a womanof the Upper east Side, Like what
do you think you're getting? Shesaid it was in Hampton's I think,
which is also very surprising. Yeah, I don't don't think it's going to
(03:23):
happen. Like the chances of thatperson being prutish or not as open minded,
um or it's high. I meanthat I don't know that as an
age she was, but you're payinga professional or so you think for a
service. That really did bother me. I thought that was very um that's
(03:44):
a little over the line. Andeveryone kind of responded like, oh,
did you want that? And she'slike, no, I really I didn't
like this part. It felt veryuncomfortable and Bobby should have done something.
M Yeah, I agree. Yeah, that's that's an odd situation. Yeah,
it's really sad. Just in caseanyone needed further resolution, Brandy and
Taylor do sit down again and clearthe air and they're ready to move forward.
(04:09):
I get it. It's a it'san arc, you know, like
they're ending it in a much betterplace than they were in. But I
spent a lot of time talking aboutthis enough. Yeah, yeah, so
what else? Vicky tells Tamar that, oh, she got a text that
Steve is moving out of the PortaViata condo, house, apartment whatever,
(04:30):
and m Vicky breaks down over thisand she really doesn't want to talk about
it. She's just, you know, nobody wants to hear it. I
get it, but Tamer, guessis some tough love, and basically it's
like you need to hear it.You need to hear that this is going
to happen and you need to endthings with him. But I you know,
I feel like you have a littlesympathy for Vicky now, yes,
I mean it's been a week thatshe was broken up with basically he's it
(04:53):
sounds like he's not a great guyand it feels like she didn't know him
very well or she was in denial, which which the latter might be the
case. I think that people holdout hope to protect themselves emotionally, that
they'll be able to go back.Oh yeah, yeah, we're just gonna
we're gonna try it again. Andsomeone's moving out and there's a physical act
(05:14):
of like removing your items and thatcommitment. Yeah, that's um, that's
hard. Yeah, she has tochange her entire life now. That's really
upsetting and that I do feel badfor her. I do feel bad for
the whole situation. Yeah. Wow, we've really come from you know what
this is? I really you knowwhat, Maybe I love Vicky. I
don't know. I don't know whereI fall on her. I know I
(05:36):
like her, but I don't know. We'll get into it because in this
episode we're going to talk about, you know, the how we view these
women now post Girls truck. Ohgod, but first we have to go
canoeing, because Jill is carrying outsome child to dream trying to fix childhood
trauma. I think it's what youmean. That's true. Yeah, yeah,
(05:57):
yeah, something like along those lineswith something that she loves kayaking,
but even though they're not using kayaksor something. Oh these are kayaks,
right, No, they're canoes.Oh but it's like a kayak canoe combo.
No, yeah, what was it? She went to camp and like
no one wanted to keep knew withher. People were mean to her.
I guess I don't know, butit really does explain a lot. And
(06:19):
she you know, the picture ofher was really cute. I will say
it was so cute. And Ireally don't like this. Actually, episode
for me was hard. Um.There was a lot that was uncovered,
especially about Jill, and I reallyfeel bad for her. But she is
(06:39):
just not doing herself any favors.Like in the morning, she just has
a stream of consciousness like I'm soexcited as some fish, I need to
brush my teeth again. Like she'sjust saying all these things and by herself,
and it's again like could you imagineJill was your mom. Jill's a
lot. Jill's a lot, butshe's I think she's the right cocktail for
(07:01):
what you need for these shows.Yeah, I just feel bad because everyone
and I also find her insufferable, but everyone was just like Jill, we
get it enough, and I she'sa lot. Yeah. What do they
say? Talkative? Talkative? Ohwe'll get there. Yeah, justster Field
of State. Um. I don'tknow what's about this, but what is
(07:25):
it? Jill has a very selfreflecting game that she wants to play,
and I mean these games, comeon, guys, think of a word
that describes how you feel about theperson. I jotted the first few of
them down. We'll just kind ofgo through and weigh in. What do
you think? Yes, um,badra is the words that can't run her?
(07:46):
Just again, this is a sampleof the names. I didn't sit
here like a court stenographer and writethem down and cross but mysterious kind and
um, you know, I wantto know, like how her image in
your eye ey has kind of beenrehabilitated a little bit because this, Yeah,
this kind of the feeling is thatit has it has you know again,
(08:09):
I won't forget what happened. Idon't know the truth. She is
mysterious because she's not letting us inat all. But my god, if
she's not so funny, she's sohilarious. She has amazing one liners,
and she really seems to want everyoneto get along. And I do like
that about her as well. Nowhas her cachet gone up since this show
(08:33):
and your I do think so?I think so. I would agree.
I think that she showed all thebest of her in this I think she
was great in that interview chair.I think she was the gay mist of
them all, just game to dowhatever that was happening, whether it was
the hot air balloon or getting inthe jankie canoe, you know, just
all the looks like. She showedup. She committed. She even was
(08:56):
on the phone with our kids, like when it was time to do that.
So I I think she was themost amenable. From my fun she
I had the most fun with her. Every time she had something to say,
I wanted to listen a little bitcloser because I was excited to hear
something funny come out of her mouth, and it always did. She never
disappointed. So, so Phaedra,we're giving her the she's going up on
(09:16):
the list, it comes out we'regood with her now Dorinda was called regal.
You know what I thought about that, Dorenda? Did you write that
yourself because you're not allowed too. That's not part of the game. Did
you break the rules on that?Um cachet up or down? On?
Down? Down, down down. We've said this from all the episodes.
(09:37):
She is not not even like,it's not even at ground level where where
she started, where she was alreadykind of tainted. Now we're even beneath.
She's gone. She's gone. Yeah, I again, I think I
said this in the last episode.I don't know if I need to see
any more from her for a while. If this is where we're going to
get, maybe she just works throughsome things. But clearly she's so mean
me sorry, no, she's somean. It it's this cruelty that she
(10:01):
evokes almost every time she's quote unquotecrossed. She really has so much anger
in her which she needs to workthrough or else I don't know she has
to work through anger, or ifit's she's just trying to create good TV
and is backfiring, if someone's inher ear, if she's looking for stuff
(10:22):
to react to, or if thisis just who she is. I don't
know, but yeah, it's it'sthis is not a good look for her,
and it's really I feel bad aboutit in a way because like she
puts so much of herself into thisin her house and to come out kind
of like, I don't know whatreally Twitter is feeling about this show,
but like I haven't seen that manypeople. I have one friend, Roddy
(10:46):
Junior, does a podcast. Hesaid, I think the only one that
likes Arrenda I can't handle the crueltake. It's not for me. Vicky
is labeled firm and self involved.Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean
I think I mean, first ofall, show me a woman of the
Housewives that is not self involved.Show me one you chose to be a
(11:07):
Housewives, chose to go on TVand put all of your tory, launch
you out there and talk about yourselfover and over. Yeah. Yeah,
show only someone who bowed out otherthan I don't know. No, I'm
just thinking of someone who was likeI'm done and removing myself in the public
eye. And yeah, no,I mean I don't can't think of really
any of them that willingly did that. Yeah. So how do we feel
(11:31):
about Vicky. You know, Iagain, I like her. I miss
her, but I will say Ijust I don't know if we need her
on the new OC. I'd likeher to be on it my preferences,
she saw it, but I'm okaywith her not being there for now.
You know, it would be great. I think friend of status what Jill
wants. I think she just needsto pop in once in a while and
(11:52):
we'll love it. And you knowhow I feel, I have changed my
tune a bit, and I thinkit has a lot to do with the
fact that I'm realizing that she wasn'tso heartbroken and I really reflected upon that.
But I don't think we need eitherum but I think it maybe net
neutral M fair. Yeah, you'reallowed now. Eva. Eva, I
(12:18):
was very um underwhelmed and I sawthe cast an ounce, I was like,
but why, I was like,I didn't really Granted I didn't see
her too much on Housewives, butI just wasn't really overly impressed as far
as like considering her an All stargoes. But her cachet, in my
opinion, has gone up from thisshow. I've enjoyed her. She kind
of petered out a little bit forme. In these last two episodes,
(12:41):
I didn't see much of her,but yeah, I like her. I
like her too. She has she'sa weird relationship with Horrenda where she backs
Diranda at every turn basically, whichI find strange. She's so beautiful,
she's very funny. Um, andshe kind of brings the youth that we
(13:01):
need. The injection of youth umzion is what they called. I don't
know. In during the Housewives, she was pregnant a good chunk, which
I do think had something to dowith her being a little bit out of
the spot and a little bit youknow, quote unquote boring because she couldn't
do a lot of stuff. Yeah, drinking and ye kind of literally comes
(13:22):
with the territory. Yeah, andI thought she was pretty fun. Now
Taylor is called secretly sexy and asurvivor. Okay, so no cashet up
down um um. You know,I just and I shouldn't look at people's
pasts and judge them for it,and I don't judge her, but I
(13:43):
just am bummed out by her.Um. I really, I know that
she had a hard time and I'mso happy she's come out of it.
She has a survivor I can't getpast it. I can't get past her
past, and I don't find herthat interesting to watch. She doesn't have
a ton to say. I orjust giving this a lot of thought,
(14:03):
and I'm like, she's the onethat kind of stays neutral to me,
Like I didn't really have an opinionabout her coming on the show either way,
and I really still don't have anopinion about her, like even going
on OC. For me, Tayloris a total take or relieve her kind
of right down the middle. Likeif I think about it though, and
(14:24):
just go with me for a second, the OC is Taylor. Taylor is
the OC. I'm talking attitude,I'm talking potentially politics, I'm talking kind
of boring status. Will she dowell with the group that they've assembled.
Potentially she might get her finger inyour face, And that's what we want
(14:48):
to see. We do like thosemoments. We know that she might something,
something could happen. I think itmight be a good fit. Well,
now, the whole cast of OCall know is Vicky. If these
shows are as real as we're toldthey are, Vicky would naturally be at
some of these events because she knowsTaylor now from the Ultimate Girls Trip and
(15:11):
all the others. So I'm hopingthat that will bring Vicky in as a
friend in some capacity. Taylor,I'm intrigued. I'll take a look and
see what she's going to bring. That show needs like full on life support.
Yes, So if that works, let's go far. But I do
think that my prediction is that herego is going to get out of hands
(15:33):
because we saw it a little biton this show where she took took the
classy girls. We started it,we created the show, and now she's
the first one to make this transitionbetween two cities. So I think what
you're going to see a big egoon her. That's my point of view.
I don't know, you know,I don't know if she needed to
be the first one to make acrossover. I do think it might.
(15:54):
It might suitor. We'll see,we will see. Brandy was labeled as
misunderstood. I think most people wouldagree with this. I don't know.
I don't know if she's misunderstood. She's pretty loud and proud about everything that
she says and does. I thinkshe's just she's complicated because for some reason
(16:14):
everyone likes her. You end upliking her, you know, Taylor said,
I don't know what it is aboutyou, and that's how I feel.
I don't know what it is abouther, but I like her.
She remains the same with me.I was the most intrigued to see what
she had to say. I stillhold her in high regard as a reality
star. I will watch whatever shedoes because I just find her so interesting
(16:36):
for television. Yeah, same withI feel the same about her. Unmoved.
Yeah, Jill, we mentioned talkative, expressive, and other word thrown
out there. How do you feelabout her? I don't want to see
her anymore. She really bugs me. I do want to see more of
her, but I feel like Isaw it just enough. You know,
(17:00):
I'm curious to see more, butlike I feel like it we caught up
with Jill, you know, Ifeel like we caught up. Caught up.
Yeah, she's got Gary, she'sgot Jill and Alley. She's doing
her thing, you know. Butagain, she clearly has a really hard,
passed, sad background something. Peoplearen't nice to her, but she's
(17:22):
annoying. She's a hustler. Ienjoy a hustler. I enjoy a real
New York customer. So see,I'm from New York from Long Island.
It's triggering. There's something about thatvoice that is I recognize a little bit
too much. I think, Um, I don't know she's she bugs me,
but good for her. I thoughtshe looked beautiful except for that insane,
(17:47):
uh testimonial look with those wristbands.I can't well she. I mean
this last dinner, I noticed shewas wearing like denim jeans but they weren't
fitted, and everybody else was likereally dressed or like another pants on.
I was kind of like, whyis she, like, you know,
on these these mom jeans that lookedthrough me right off when she ran out
of outfits. Yeah, that's howit felt could could be. Yeah,
(18:11):
yeah, because it was like asequence sparkletop with like mom jeans. I
don't know what she was going for, but anyway, who else is on
this damned list? Tamera the lastone? Right? No, No,
I didn't reade anything for her.I don't know what they said about her,
but Tamra, I hold her inhigher regard than I did before.
She I've always said she's an allstar, she is good TV. I
(18:32):
enjoy her. Something relatable about her. I enjoy Tamera. I also enjoyed
her, and she brought a neutralityto every situation, you know, except
for the deerobics, which I thinkshe deserved to freak out because I would
have freaked out. Um, she, as we now know, is coming
back and is not happy that Jillannounced before she did, which she's really
(18:56):
not happy about that, Jesus.Which it's sane and Jill, you know,
a little thirsty. I think that'strue. Um. I like her
and I'm ready to see more ofher. I don't want to see her
like in a bathtub with Eddie.Again, those aren't the things that I
loved that you did. I don'tknow. I thought that was so strange,
but it was. That's why.Yeah, she's she's a bizarre person
(19:18):
and I look forward to more ofthat. Yeah. Well again, the
OC needs a defibrillator. Yes,they need a mad scientist to resurrect that
show. So if Tama can doit, and she can do it in
a real and authentic way, I'mgood. If she's gonna scenes she's she's
(19:38):
a she's a a trigger where shewill just go off. She'll throw her
wine at Gina Kio, She'll shegoes call somebody Jesus drugs, Like I
loved that. I loved that. And so yes, she can be very
nice and like have a best friendlike a Vicky, but then she goes
off, you know, no toexpect and I do appreciate that. About
(19:59):
my housewives, did we cover themall as far as the list goes?
Like? We covered them all?Right? I don't think if we left
them off, that's why. That'show we feel about them, if we
left them off. Yeah, Sothey're going to a shaker house to shake
away sins. Apparently this is thelast supper. It's a house from seventeen
ninety. Drinda going on and onabout how like I was was that offensive?
(20:22):
I don't know what she was doingwith like shaking up her body to
explaining the shakers, Like, Idon't know what that was. I don't
know. I don't I don't know. I guess it's true. If it's
true, then it's not. Idon't know. I was confused. Durrinda
talks about how she's going to behosting a trip to Canada and it's you
(20:45):
know where this is going. It'sum a joke, and then um Phader
says she's in Brandy says she's go, she'll go, but she jokes that
you know, you just just don'tyell at anyone, don't yell at any
of the guests. And this wasnot taking well. And this is all
I know, Durna so calculating becausepreviously when Phaedra was like tall and you
(21:07):
know, they did the prayer andthis is a teachable moment for you,
Dorinda, she didn't bite back atPhaedra. Now she took this little little
moment and made it into something Ididn't need to be, ruining it and
making it so awkward. It wasbubbling in her. She was ready,
she couldn't control herself. And thequickness with which she attacked Brandy for an
(21:30):
innocuous comment which I think Brandy waskind of trying to like, you know,
that was funny, let's move onfrom this, and she just a
like sex shamed her essentially, umyeah, you know, being Brandy.
This is who she is and itwas not a funny joke. She needs
(21:51):
to be She needs to be appreciatedall times, which I find very interesting.
But she can't take it. Shecan only dish it, yea,
and she expects everyone to take itfrom her. You know, I was
in a place in my life whereI was like really like kind of biting
back at people, and I wasquick and I was ready to make like
comments back. And that's because Iwas very unhappy. And it depends on
(22:12):
all in your mindset. Like youcan let things go if you're in a
much healthier place, if you're relaxed, if you're doing the work. But
if you're on like that, ifyou're like, you know, get that
anger in you, and that's whenyou laugh shout like that. You said,
my experience, there's a reason thatthe phrase hurt people, hurt people
exists because it's true. If you'reunhappy, you're going to lash out and
(22:37):
try to make other people unhappy becauseyou know, misery loves company. Yeah,
yeah, I think that boils itdown. Well. I mean,
like you mentioned, she basically likesex shamed Brandy. She said, just
don't get so drunk that you makean ass of yourself in their house.
I mean, really ridiculous. Itcaused Brandy to cry silence too. That
(23:02):
bathroom happened. Oh, that bathroomhunt was silly. Yeah, but what
is this property? Like, Imean it looks like they were like looking
for like an outhouse situation like yeah, I don't know, it's like a
campground or something where there's weird toilets. Time to leave the Berkships because I
think they've like maxed out on whatthere is to do, Like I think
they kind of saw what there isto do, at least what they would
(23:26):
what they would let these women into do. But yeah, so then
Phaedra asked Arenda please be kind inthis moment in response to the whole Brandy
thing, Please be kind. Brandywas clearly joking m Durnda, like I
said, we can't help herself, just like we said. And um,
then she starts speaking fun of thedress, calling it a shirt. Like
(23:49):
she just doesn't stop. Yeah no, yeah, she needs people to apologize
to her. She turns everything aboutherself, even though she's the one creating
the problem, making it bigger. She it's just yeah, no, she's
gone through some stuff. Clearly there'ssomething. Why is she so upset?
Why so angry? I don't know. When everyone sat there quiet, I
(24:12):
was like, everyone's over it.All these women are just over the behavior.
They're just like they're done. They'vesuffered through it long enough. They
no longer have to play nice nicewith Drenda because they're leaving the next day.
They're just like, who wants totake it? Does anyone want to
take this? Does anyone want toacknowledge this? Well, patri did,
(24:32):
but she does it so nicely. She really did it very very sweetly.
I would have been like, whatis wrong with you? Yeah? Yeah,
Durrenda's looking for sympathy when the othersare at the bathroom. Nobody give
her anything. Nobody gives her anythingagain, they're over it and m Dorenda
(24:52):
then says behind Brandy's back that she'sready for Brandy to leave. I thought
that was so rude and gross andjust like again like it's like you're hunting
for compliments. She's hunting for sympathy. She wants someone to say, yeah,
she's gonna go in, And Taylorkind of did at that moment,
right, Yeah, I think sonot really that great? I did did
(25:15):
you pick up that she called hermiss jeevous? Yes? I wrote this,
Yeah, hm, I think that'sthat's the liquor talking miss jeevous.
Yeah yeah, Randy to ask Jeevesthe old sergeant. Yeah, miss jeevous,
is asked Jeeves's daughter. There yougo, Um, Derenda. Oh
(25:37):
the dinner begins and uh, Dorendaleaves in the bathroom, and even Vicky
won't bother Vicky cross is our legs. Even she's not gonna go for that
long walk, and Brandy's really overthe after the long walk in the fresh
air, she like kit reset basically, and what else was happening here?
Basically, I felt in this partof the episode, when Dorinda returned to
(26:00):
the table, they were making thesekind of sweeping statements. I feel like
Dorinda was trying to wrap everything upin a bow, like, look how
great this was, Look how everyoneenjoyed themselves because of everything I did.
I gave them such a great time. And it was kind of like a
sweeping moment of like, let's justforget my behavior five minutes ago too,
(26:21):
you know, And let's forget thatI didn't answer the question about if I
washed my hands or not after Ipeted in the woods. Oh, all
I can think of is her buryingher fingers and that lasagna. Oh yeah,
yeah, Oh, Eva was thiscachet is going down even lower?
Oh? She Eva really wanted ananswer too, and she would not give
(26:42):
it. I missed that that wasa good catch I missed. It was
gross. Jill and Durnda have amoment that you know, Jill gives her
hug. I feel like I feellike Jill is like moving, wanting to
move forward. If I were Jill, I wouldn't care less. I couldn't
are less about what Dorinda thinks ofme. But it was the TV moment
(27:06):
that fans wanted. I guess right, they we don't know. I didn't
and I just didn't. But thenI think Vicky they you know, they
they're both talking about how they wentto each other's husband's funerals, and Vicky
goes, that's an accomplishment. Whathow? Where? Where am I?
(27:26):
What's going on? Yeah? Becausethere were three housewives that passed that had
that were widow, there were widowsincluding Taylor. Yeah, that's a unique
bond. Yeah, that's a uniqueelement of the show. Tamra says that
she absolutely loves Brandy and Vicky lovesher too. I mean, wow,
(27:53):
we love Brandy. We don't knowwhy, but we do love Brandy.
Well, you know, when thesewomen aren't necessarily pitted again ends each other
and then forced at reunions to yelland scream at each other for contracts,
you can actually work things out.Don't Andy Cohen in your face with six
cards that he's reading verbatim from tryingto stoke flames and get people upset.
(28:15):
I mean, look, these womenactually aren't giant pieces of garbage. Okay,
Like they actually can like talk toeach other. Yeah, it's like,
what a concept. Well it's alsoyou know, in real life.
I know this is their lives, but in real life, if a friend
spoke to me the way any ofthese women speak to each other, I'd
(28:37):
be done, you know. Butthey do have a job to do when
they know that. Yep, that'sit. What else happens here? Um
oh, I said, you know, Durnda can't stand this because both Vicky
and Tamar are like, we loveBrandy, we had such a great time
with you, and you know,Jorna's uto me, yeah what about me?
And then you know she's just morenonsense. Vicky wants to um she
(29:03):
we're wrapping up the show and shesays, you know, next time,
I want a neutral place. Wetalked about this episode one, like,
you were right the advantage that Drendahad kind of home court advantage. I
was hoping these women would fight back, and they chose not to each time
with what with Dorinda kind of beingthe lady of the manor. Yeah,
Lia saw a super cut of Bossydrendajust in case if you wanted to relive
(29:26):
those moments. And Phaedra gives everyonea sign copy of her friend's book and
a Bible and it was a nicemoment. She invited a bishop to come,
and it was like so silly withall these women after they fought,
and Drenda behave like an absolute animal. They're all there as pure as the
drumad snow at their bibles along. You know, it's like this show is
(29:51):
this all over the place? Itwas crazy. It was crazy, and
I was kind of like, whoare these who? Who's this? What's
going? And they just were dancingand having a wonderful time. I liked
it. It was just a niceinclusive moment. I mean, everybody seemed
to have a good time. Itcame out of nowhere. But I mean
(30:11):
I don't know where they kept thesingers and the choir and all these people.
I mean, if we saw theproperty, it was like a campground.
Those poor people. You know,it's as if all everybody involved needed
to like let out a guttural scream, but instead they got to dance and
sing, and I thought that wasnice. That's one way to wrap it
up. I was like, well, I didn't see the religious angle coming
(30:34):
here. Yeah, Bishop Walker wasthere. The theme wass going to get
better? And I think Derinda neededto hear that, So we'll see if
that resonates. Day eight begins, say goodbye to Marco ceiling and what else
happens. Jill is secretly handing outJill and Alley candles. I loved that.
(30:59):
Just has to get that in wild, Yeah, just in case if
they didn't have enough to carry back, right, And I don't know about
you. When I travel, I'mlike, is there anything I can get
rid of? Like I don't wantto take an ounce back with me that
I don't need, and now hereat these Jill and Alley candles. If
you leave them behind, you're probablythe worst person in the world. First.
Yeah, they have to take them. It's really embarrassing. It is,
(31:22):
and Phaedra seems to have had thebest time. I think she and
my opinion was like, all ineven as I need to do it again.
And it ends with Drinda patting herselfon the back the way it began,
she just you know, couldn't havedone it better, eating pizza in
bed, just to show what areal jerk she is. There you go.
(31:47):
So yeah, this show for megot to be a little repetitive.
Towards the end. I was like, Okay, we've seen the meat,
We've seen them do this, we'veseen them do that, We've seen the
makeup. They've had six follow upsabout this. It was just a little
too long for me. But Iappreciated it. I have no regrets watching
it. I have no regrets recappingit. I just wish I had a
(32:07):
little more tie on my length tohave finished it in a more timely man
are of course, you know,I enjoyed it. I enjoyed first of
all, I enjoyed doing this withyou. This is what I enjoyed most
about the entire season. I thinkwe needed. We need to be outside
of anybody's home. We need tonot be in greet Barrington, Massachusetts.
(32:28):
We need to be maybe in Thailand, where they're currently shooting. That's where
I'm I'm ready to head there nextand I think there's gonna be a lot
more to do when we're not insomebody's house. Yes, yeah, this
is definitely the shorter end of thestick. Yeah, if you think of
like where these women have traveled, like you know and everything. But I
(32:51):
don't know, it's tough because Durrendais just such a tough character. She's
you know, it's it's different.I think it's if she was who she
presents herself as, wanting to bethis incredible hostess who's just there to make
sure everyone has a great time, then I feel like, all right,
kind of can get alone, toget along. But I mean it's kind
of really uncomfortable when it's not thecase. Yeah, yeah, talk about
(33:15):
someone in their home, even thoughthey did it anyway, you know,
it's just tough, like, yeah, you were right the whole time home
Court advantage. Yeah. Well,I enjoyed the show. I thought it
was fine. I thought that theyneed a tighter edit. Yeah, I
thought that they couldn't maybe have onelast episode, but the casting was pretty
(33:37):
good. Way, I'm way moreinto the casting of this episode than I
was with the original one and theHighland one. I really don't have much
of a feeling towards it yet.Maybe when there's some leaked something or a
promo or but right now, Idon't really know if I'm that interested in
it. I do love Karen Hugerthough, isn't she on that I think
(33:59):
so? If youre Liam mcqueeney gotshipped out, she was, she was
asked to leave the trip. Ohthrowing elephant doung is the that is the
rumor. What throwing growing at somebodyelse? Elephant tonge So we'll see.
I'm I'm it intrigues me. IfTinsley was on that trip, I'd be
(34:20):
all in. That's this last thing. I'll say Tinsley should have been had
all stars bring Tinsley back. That'lldo it for us. Thank you guys
for supporting listening to this crazy showwith us. I'm very grateful to Ali
for doing this with me. Thankyou having me all right. You know
there'll be more stuff coming with thepodcast. We'll see what happens next.
Big transition happening in my life rightnow. So we'll keep We'll just keep
