Speaker 1 (00:23):
Yeah, keeping the streak alive. Jets fans all right, wearing
my blue and yellow? Where the hell that means? Oh Titans?
Maybe Titans colors, the blue and gold and green and
white and black, gray and everything else. Say that's what
(00:47):
I'm doing. Welcome, Welcome to the show, everybody. Welcome to
green Bean Jets Pod. I am green Bean, and I'm
happy that you're here. We had ourselves some fun, did
we not? This week with our Jets football had ourselves.
We had a little fun. We had a little bit,
a little bit, a little bit, a little bit of fun,
(01:10):
a little bit of fun. This week. The story is
the same, as we know, not very different as far
as end results would have you believe. But man, oh man,
was this a pretty fun game to especially compared to
some of the clunkers this week, I mean this week
(01:31):
this year. So I'm grateful. I'm finding a weird niche
to settle into here, like with gratitude, like, hey, at
least they gave me this. That's it. That's when you
know you're just completely decimated as a fan. All resolve.
Somebody goes, your team sucks, and you go, man, you know,
there's not any like fight left you know what I mean.
(01:52):
That's kind of where we are. But man, the Jets
are gonna jet and we are doing some things, so
we'll talk about that. Talk a little bit about the game,
talk about a couple of few wrinkles, some key things
to really take out of this as far as how
it pertains to the future. You know what we're going
to be looking at here. We got four games left,
(02:13):
so we have some time to kind of evaluate some
mindsets and planning things like that. We also will talk
about the overarching job that is left to do. Right.
(02:33):
We have a job to do here, the Jets. We
don't know how to do this job, so are we
doing it right? We'll get into that, but before we do,
I want to remind you about the great sponsor for
this show, The one and only Bet, us America's favorite

(03:16):
You see, I won two out of three wagers this week. Yes,
I did not too shabby for me. But you can
get in on the action, have a lot of fun
and make something out of this season. Man. You know's
we got you fantasy football. Maybe you can look and
test your knowledge, your skills and right on America's Favorite
sports book. Bet Us YouTube one fifty to promo code
(03:39):
and thank you to bet us for sponsoring green Bean
to Jets pod. So, dudes, we played a division opponent
to Miami Dolphins, which you know, coming out of the
era I was born in here with as a Jets fan,
Dolphins are my most hated rivalry. Sure, the Patriots kind
of took that over for twenty some odd years and
(04:01):
just you know, you had to hate them the most.
The Bills, the Dolphins, the Jets, we were kind of
like we were just scrubs. And now Buffalo last few
years winning the division and kind of being the top
tier of the division. You know. But for me, in
my heart, it's the Dolphins. I hate the Dolphins. I
lived in Miami for sixteen years or so. Went to
every Jets Dolphins game down there for a decade, and yeah,
(04:27):
I hate losing to the Dolphins. That said, I thought
we were gonna win this game. Not only did I
think we're gonna win it, because I was watching the
game and it looked like we could win this game,
like so many others this season. But I just knew
that the Jets, historically speaking, we don't know how to
(04:48):
win games when we need to win games. As soon
as we don't need to win anymore, that's when we
start winning games. We get comfy, we get loose, we're
having some fun, we're joking around. It's not so much pressure.
I don't know what it is about this organization, but
we find ways to win what are essentially meaningless games.
Look at last year's the final game of the year,
Jets could have been at like the fourth or fifth
(05:10):
overall pick or where we were pick eleven by winning
or losing one game, and it was the Patriots last
game of the year, Belichick's last game as a Patriot.
We wanted to, you know, beat them, and we did.
And there's some feel goods there. There's some feels but
(05:31):
at the end of the day, all does is push
us back. Now, if we wanted Romo Dunze or whoever
you neighbor, I mean, who every well, you know what
I mean, you could do so much more, but in
or alt right. Instead, we pick eleven, traded back to twelve,
or ten traded back to eleven. I forget, and we
got ol Loull. I'm very very happy with. But you
(05:51):
see the point. The Jets have been among the worst
teams in the NFL for the better part of twenty years,
and we have not had the top overall pick since
nineteen ninety seven. Nineteen ninety seven, that's almost that's the
better part of thirty years. So we don't have to suck, right,
(06:12):
you know, we don't have to suck right. We suck
just enough to hurt our feelings and be painful, but
not enough to get the nugget for sucking, for being
the biggest, the biggest, king of the sucks. You can't
be the king of the sucks. We don't know how
to do that. So what do we see? Man? We
saw Breece Halls injured and this is one of the
subjects I really want to talk about. You saw them
use heavily. The two draft picks from this year two
(06:36):
rookie running backs, Brailan Allen and Isaiah Davis, both of
whom I wanted in the draft. Well, I didn't want
them both, but I definitely wanted one of. Braylen Allen
was my RB one for the Jets in this draft class.
Isaiah Davis was my RB three in this draft class.
So we got one in three. Again, didn't think we
(06:59):
draft them both, but hey, with Breese all out, it's
nice to see what you know. You get the time
period to be able to see what you have now.
Would rather have Breese? I mean, you know, the argument
could be made, but he's not there, so you'd want to.
You want to see these guys in action, real action,
and for them to look like they got something and
guess what they do. Isaiah Davis was more of a
(07:21):
question mark. We've seen Braylan Allen think we all got
a pretty good idea of what he can bring to
the team, and we like it. We like it a lot.
We didn't know about Isaiah Davis because he's you know, anomalous,
he's the other guy on kick returns. Gets a play here,
a play there. But this week we saw him. He
looked kind of like the bell cow, even though it's
(07:42):
not true, but it seemed like he was getting more
play than Braylan Allen. So Breydon Allen actually had eleven
rushes where Isaiah Davis had ten, and they look Braylen
Allen had a three point nine yard average, Isaiah Davis
had a four yard average, so very very close. Isaiah
Davis also had that touchdown, which was cool to see.
But Braylen Allen also caught four passes and Isaiah Davis
(08:07):
caught three, So again it seemed like Isaiah Davis might
even be more involved, but not the case. But very
very even very fair, a little bit more here, a
little bit more there for either one, and they did
a good job. You see, like you feel like you
can depend on these guys. You could use these guys
their assets, and that's really exciting. I'm very curious to
(08:28):
see what they do with Breece Hall the rest of
the season. How is this injury? Are they just thinking,
hey man, we're gonna call it a day, not only
for the injury, like not to rush him back because
it's unnecessary, but in addition to that, to see what
you really have because of this question, do they want
to one of two things, use brees Hall as trade
(08:48):
bait you know who knows what you can get for him,
or do you want to avoid paying bress Hall in
what will be his final season of his contract. You
know he's gonna want he's you know, it never came here.
You saw this free agent as I'm sorry, this fantasy draft.
He was among the top couple picks and everybody's fantasy draft,
(09:10):
and we thought he'd have a bigger season and he didn't.
So that drops value a little bit as far as
what we've seen. But bres Hall, in my opinion, is
still briefs Hall. So what are you gonna do? Are
you taking a look to see if maybe maybe you
don't need to pay this guy now they are argument
can be made that these guys aren't eve gonna be
here anyway. So obviously the coaching staff is gone, but
Phil Savage is currently the GM. I doubt he's retained
(09:33):
as the GM. It could happen, but maybe they're already
looking that way. Maybe they're trying to see maybe, you know,
maybe they're gonna get these guys on tape, so the
next regime can make that decision. Do I want to
run it back with Breas Hall or even pay and
extend Breese Hall when he's gonna want ten plus million
(09:54):
dollars eleven twelve, something like that a year. I would say,
I mean, I don't think, I don't know, probably something
like that right fifteen. I mean, I don't know, But
maybe you can escape that contract if you feel like
you're gonna get similar production and use another mid round
pick on a running back if you'd like, or bring
in a vet journeyman type. You could do that. You
(10:16):
can get away with it if you feel like the
running backs are good enough. They're good Braylan Allen can
be the main back and you feel good Isaiah Davis
coming on the field to spell them or what have you.
So it's an interesting thing that we'll get to see,
and for fans, what we want to see we do.
Our mockoff seasons are mock drafts, our free agency and
(10:36):
what we want to see. So it's good for us
to see this. That said, I want to keep Breese Hall.
I love bres Hall. I think this season, you know,
you see guys like Briess and Sauce, and these guys
are struggling right, they're having and all of a sudden,
it's like they're not great anymore. I don't see that.
These guys are all super young. They're gonna be going
into their fourth year. We got obviously all pros with
(11:01):
Sauce and you know, you got a potential Rookie of
the year, the injury with Breeze and all. I mean,
so there's a lot of meat on these bones and
I'm not the I don't know, man. Good teams know
how to keep their players. They know how to keep
a good core together, and it might be a bit
risky that said, we'll see. We'll see, but it was
nice to see brayln Allen and Isaiah Davis perform in
(11:24):
the way that they did. You gotta love their running
style too. That's my kind of running style. Baby. You
know how to make the cut, you know how to
be decisive in the hole, but you also know how
to punish the guy who's at the end of the line.
Is you're at the end of my line, you're gonna
feel it. And I like that. I think that has
that pays dividends and I like it. The other rookie, though,
(11:45):
let's talk about scratchy Malatchi, as Frankie would call him.
He calls him Scratchy Malatchi because he's scratched far more
often than we thought he would be. That's Malachi Corley. Like,
what's the deal. I understand Alan Lazard's back. You want
to get him back. Aaron Rodgers wants him back. You know,
DeVante Adams, Alan Lazard, Aaron Rodgers on the field. I
get it, I get it. But why is Gibson still
(12:06):
playing over Malachai Corley? Why did we need to get
this guy? He was our fourth overall wide receiver in
the entire draft and the guy can barely get on
the field. Sure, he had the touchdown where he dropped
the ball at inchurely. It happens. It's a mistake. Nobody's
happy about it. But it's a mistake. It's not indicative
of the guy not knowing or being able to play
the game of footballs. It's not that big of a deal.
(12:27):
I'm guaranteeing he never does that again in his whole
freaking career. But come on, here we are. We're at
the end of the line here with this season, and
you can't get him on the field. We're gonna We're
gonna just scratch him and piss him off. And I
don't know. It doesn't make sense to me, and it
bothers me that he's a third round pick they were
gonna trade into the second form. And again Joe Douglas
(12:48):
isn't here. Sala who sent the famous text at all
costs or no matter what whatever it was to Joe
Douglas about Malachai Corley. But they couldn't get him on
the field when they were here either wasn't getting him
on the field Joe Douglas's influence on whatever, it couldn't
get him on the field a little bit here and there.
But the guy can play football, and I would love
(13:09):
to see him more, and we're just not. Maybe with
IRV Charles going down, if that injury is bad, maybe
you see him. I don't know, but I don't like it.
I like seeing Brailen Allen, Isaiah Davis. I'd really like
to see Malakai Corley. It doesn't make sense to me
in this regime. Honestly, good riddance the offensive side of
the ball. They don't know how to usu develop anything
(13:30):
with these guys if they don't come in and just
are good whatever they want him to do on their own.
Then there's nothing doing with these guys. You see it
time and time again. I also think I don't know what. Look. Look,
we're all Jeremy Rucker fans, right, we all love Jeremy Rucker,
we all love the story, we all love his dad,
we all love everything. But there's no good reason why
Kenny Rutgers should be in there over Kennedy. Jeremy Ruckers
(13:52):
should be in there over Kenny a Boa. In my opinion,
there's just no there's no reason. Kenny Abou does everything right,
everything right. Yes, he had a false start to what's what?
Like I say, that's what you get when you play
a guy three play, three offensive plays a game. That's
what that's what happens. That's the kind of stupid stuff
you got to get guys in the game. And he's
done nothing. He's never dropped the pass for the Jets.
He blocks like an animal, he plays excellent on special teams.
(14:14):
What is he doing that's not getting him? Like? What
what can he do to leap frog ruckerd what? At
this point, Ruckert had another drop to a big one
drops one every game. I don't understand it. And we've
seen that with players they like over players they don't,
And I just can't wait till they're all gone. Honestly,
whatever redeeming qualities that they have or who I like
(14:37):
or whatever, overall, I'm done. I can't wait to see
them go because I want to see these young players.
I want to see guys that have that have proven
that they deserve a shot to get on the field,
and they just never do. They never do. We got
Gibson running around all over them. What does he do?
He has a play here and there? The guys on
(14:58):
the field all day, He's active every game, he's kickoff
for pump returns. What does he do every now and
Nanny breaks one off for a few yards? Overall nothing.
I don't understand the love affair with this guy. Well,
let's talk about another thing from this game. This week.
It took to week fourteen, is it? I don't even know.
Thirteen fourteen, we finally got to see a three hundred
(15:23):
yard game from Aaron Rodgers. I thought we were gonna
see tons of these, but not to be So we
get it today, we are this week. We get our game,
We get our three hundred. He was twenty seven for
thirty nine, three hundred and thirty nine yards and a
touchdown to Devonte Adams, A pretty one at that, and
he looked pretty good. You know, he's finally able to
(15:44):
hit a wide open Garrett Wilson is streaking down the sideline.
We finally saw that frigging play connect. He's overthrown him
almost every other time, and he almost did it again
where it was floating out of bounds. Garrett Wilson had
to go further out than he thought and tap his
feet in there when I wish you could just hit
him in stride. But either way, at least it connected.
We finally saw that. I don't know what the deal
(16:06):
is with Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson, but let me
tell you this, Garrett Wilson is a stud. Garrett Wilson
might be the best player on the damn Jets, and
I hate it. I hate that. I mean, even though
he's having a good season, ah man, I just I
dream of what he would look like with a guy
(16:29):
like a Mahomes or a Josh Allen or somebody like
that that could just be like, this is the best
player on the field. I'm getting in the wall constantly.
He's open you know, eighty percent of the time, how
many plays do we see him running around wide open,
stomp jumping up and down. God damn it, overthrown, underthrown.
You know, the guy's an animal. That said, he just
(16:50):
became the greatest in his first three years in a
Jets uniform. I'm not sure if you've heard that. He
breaks the record for the most yards ever for a
New York Jets wide receiver in his first three years.
It's crazy. But no matter how you slice it, even
with all the crazy drama and broken dreams that we're
(17:15):
seeing this year, he still is finding a way to
be the best damn Jets receiver that we've seen here
in a very long time, the best homegrown probably ever.
If he stays here for a while, I mean, he's
going to be the best Jets receiver ever in my opinion.
He had an interesting quote today he was asked about
the blowing fourth quarter leads. Listen to this interesting quote.
(17:38):
Saw this on Zach Rosenblat's Twitter. When you're up in
the fourth quarter, all of a sudden, it starts to
feel like we have a losing problem, like a gene
or some shit. It's not like we're going out there
and getting our butt beat from start to finish. No,
we have a chance to win the game. We're supposed
to win the game. Odds are in our favor, and
we find a way to lose. So it's just frustrating
(18:01):
for sure. Yeah. Hello, And it's a funny thing. Even
in our live stream this week it was a tie game.
Actually the Jets were up and Miami was driving, and
then right before and when they tied it it felt
as though the game was lost. We lost, and it's like,
it's what do you mean, we have five minutes left,
We're getting the ball. It's a whole thing. And they
(18:25):
feel it too. We can pick it up. When you're
in the stadium, you feel it. It's thick as a brick.
But even out here watching the game, you can sense it.
You can feel it. We have losing culture, that's what
it is. And no matter what we've done. You brought
in Garrett, you brought in Breee and Sauce and Quinnin
and Quincy and Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, and they
(18:49):
can't shake it, no matter how good of a game
they play. When it comes down time, you just got
to get a field goal, or you just got to
hold them off. Whatever it is. We know how to lose,
we don't know how to win. We don't know how
to drive the steak. You saw it in Seattle. All
we had to do is throw that little pitch and
catch to Garrett Wilson in the end zone. You go
(19:09):
up three scores. Instead we miss it. Pick six, totally
different game, fourteen point swing and the and then you
know what I mean, And it's a whole different thing,
whole different scenario. So Garrett Wilson can feel it. That's
the guy I lock up. If I got to pick
one out of every all the guys, I'm going to
Garrett Wilson. I'm saying, hey, buddy, you are the core
(19:33):
piece to the New York Jets. You're the Jets. We're
gonna lock you up. We're gonna give you what you want.
You're gonna lock you up for five years and then
make you a Jet for the foreseeable future because we're
gonna build around you. That's what I would be doing.
He's a key component. I don't give a shit. And
remember the first three or four weeks of the season,
(19:54):
Old oh, I thought Carnt Wilson was a number one. Oh,
I remember half of it. He's really just a glorified too.
Gotta calm down. That's even with that. He's doing what
he's doing. He had another one hundred and change today.
What did he have? This guy? Garret Wilson had seven
catches for one hundred and fourteen yards. Devontae Adams had
(20:16):
nine catches for one hundred and nine yards, and the
TV it's crazy what's going on out there? But Garrel
Wilson man. Another one we got to lock up immediately,
in my opinion, is one Jamian Sherwood. If anybody has
proven that they've come from the depth, the backup, the reserve,
(20:36):
the special teams and they are a true high level
starter in the NFL, it's Jamian Sherwood. A guy, homegrown
mid round pick, switched him from safety to linebacker, developed
him on defense. He had eighteen tackles today, thirteen solo tackles.
(21:00):
To the guy is a heat seeking missile, the surest
tackler on the team. And he's the kind of guy.
Is it? This is last year? You let him hit
free agency, and it's gonna get ugly and you're gonna
lose guys like this now, I don't know what the new,
so obviously you gotta wait because there's a new regime.
But I think any regime is gonna want to Jamien Sherwood.
(21:21):
He's good in coverage, you know. I don't know. I
think you gotta lock them. You gotta lock him up.
Eccles is another one you can lock up. But I'm
gonna tell you. I know people are talking about Echoles
just taking the starting job from DJ Reid. I don't
see it. I think Eccles is a very good kind
of depth guy, rotational depth dime. I think he's real good.
(21:42):
You want to keep him on the team. I don't
like him as the every downstarter. That's just me. If
they do it, they do it. But I don't know.
I still want to lock him up, but I'm not
into it for the long term. So it's gonna be interesting. Guys,
we're watching a lot of Jets play their last games
as Jets. Guys like Hassan Reddick, right, probably Allen Lazard,
(22:05):
probably Aaron Rodgers. Right, We're watching the end of this thing. Here.
Aaron Rodgers is coming around the mountain into three thousand
yards passing. He's got nineteenth or twenty touchdowns and what
he might have three thousands. So he's got three thousand
yards or so and twenty touchdowns, eight picks helped, pick
six is in there. It's like it's the season. Then
(22:27):
you know you have for more games. He'll get thirty six, thirty,
eight hundred, whatever it might be. And it's crazy to
think we still can't figure out how to win games.
We can't do it. And sometimes it's the defense and
sometimes it's the offense. And it's killing me. It's killing me.
But that all said, you lost the game to the Dolphins.
(22:49):
Now that sucks. I hate losing the Dolphins. And even
though I am on the side of I hate winning
meaningless games, I do. I just hate it. I hate
Paddy the stats. So we were a six win team
that year. Oh yeah, you know what I mean? What
does it mean anyway? I know, but I don't like it.
I'd rather just tank and get it done. And let's
(23:10):
talk about that in this week's Intelligence Craig. To tank
or not to tank? That is the question. And we
do it every year and we get mad at each
other about it. Ah, anybody who wants to tank the
piece of shit. Anybody who wants to win miningless games
as a freaking idiot. Wow. Okay, Now every year I
end up on Team Tank, all right, you guys know,
(23:33):
I root until there can't be any routing. Now, having
a point zero zero one percent chance to get into
playoffs with this many games left is not happening. It's over.
I know technically mathematically we weren't eliminated till today, but
I was done last week. That was it, right, It's over.
Even last week was tough to kind of entertain that
(23:54):
five percent chance or whatever, but I was in. But
when the team's playing well, you know, I want to
enjoy it. So I'm fine even when I'm on the
Team Tank. I usually get more passionately on Team Tank.
Right now, I gotta be honest. We were talking about
this store in the stream as well. I'm not as
like vigorously on Team Tank as I have been in
(24:15):
the past. I just I'm beating up, But I still do.
I think we got four games left. We gotta play
the Jaguars. If we lost to the Jaguars, that would
be a two game flip, right, because like if you lose,
if you beat the Jaguars, then they go down. You
like get Well, let me say it this way. There's
(24:37):
an opportunity. It's a head to head, right, So you
flip those draft spots just like that. They go down
and you go up, just like that. One game. There's
a lot of bang for the buck next week against
the Jaguars. But I don't think we're gonna lose to them.
I think that we're gonna beat the Jaguars. They're reeling,
they're tanking. They got two wins and or they've got
(24:59):
three wins. Now they one to Maybe they're all buzzed
up from the win. They're riding high. Maybe that's what
it is. But like I said, every year the Jets
we get in this situation where this argument can happen,
to tank or not to tank. I never root against
my team. Okay, great, I'm tired of winning meanless games.
(25:20):
Okay great, We're allowed to have our opinions. But every
year when we do that, what we've accomplished, the one
consistent thing we've accomplished is even though we are just
always in the bottom barrel of sucky teams in the league,
(25:40):
we never get the golden goose, the first overall pick.
Now this, what are they saying it's not really the
top blue chip draft that we've got in front of
us here. Right. Last year, you had all kinds of guys.
You had the quarterbacks, you had the Joe Alts, you
had the neighbors, you had the Arvin Harrison, you had
(26:01):
the Old Dunes, you had all these guys. It was
very nutrient rich up top. Maybe not so much the
case this year, but there are gonna be two or
three quarterbacks that teams will be willing to trade up for.
So where do you got to be in order to
be a team that either takes one? If you like one,
(26:22):
Let's say you like cam Warden, you're sitting that pick two.
You can bring him in and roll Tyrod Taylor out
there for the year and let this guy sit and develop,
or even if it's half a year. Whatever. You can
do it a little bit differently than the Jets have
done it in the in forever, right, we get a guy,
we're like, hey, you give here, get on the field,
save us. That's what we do. Whether it's Sanchez, whether
(26:45):
it's Sammy, whether it's Zakipu, whoever it is, that's what
we do. Maybe we can change that up a little bit,
but even if you don't want a quarterback, you get
the opportunity to trade back, and that can also be
framed and chie changing. Here's the thing. You saw it
with the Bears last year. The Carolina Panthers traded two
(27:08):
years ago. They traded up to get Bryce Young. They
gave away next year's first which was last year. This
is in twenty twenty two. They gave away twenty twenty
three's first round pick. And what happened. They were the
worst team in the league. Again. They had the first
overall pick, but it went to Chicago. Okay, so here's
(27:30):
the thing. When you're at pick two, pick one would
be better, but I can't even imagine. Let's say forget it,
screw it. Let's say that we get the top overall pick.
Here's what can happen. Shador Sanders number one, his dad
saying he ain't playing for certain teams were not letting
it happen. He's gonna make sure they go where they
(27:51):
want him to go. Okay, great, So that means teams
like the Jets are out. He already said no cold
Weather and all that jazz. They don't want him to
come here. But there are going to be teams that
want Shadure Sanders without question. Now, if you're at pick
one right now, the Raiders are at pick one. But
let's say they win another game or two and you
can leap frog them and you get the top overall pick,
(28:15):
and the Raiders are at three, the Raiders are at three,
you're at one. You can trade back with them, get
the third overall pick, get their second this year, and
get their first next year, and still be at the
third pick. You see what I'm saying. What say the
same thing goes for pick two or pick three. You
(28:36):
can do that. You can slide back with a team
that's in the top five, six seven, you can get
their pick, and what's likely to occur the following year.
What's likely to occur is they're not going to win
the Super Bowl and they're gonna be one of the
lower rung teams again. So now you have your first
round pick wherever that is, and you have a first
(28:58):
round pick from a team that's on the front end
of the draft, the top fifteen. Let's say. So, now
you get your pick and you have pick eleven on
top of that. Do you see how that can change
a damn franchise? Plus this year you get two seconds
out of the deal. And that's why it's so important.
Winning a game against the Dolphins this week would have
(29:19):
been great. I had a buddy there, a painting the
ass Dolphins fan who I love as a friend, but
as a Dolphins fan. One of the worst, one of
the worst, can't stand him ugly is soul. I would
have loved to know he was walking out of their
pissed off. I would have known, and I would have
loved it. Okay, But at the end of the day,
(29:42):
is that worth not having the opportunity to get an
additional first next year, in an additional second this year,
or maybe even more. Let's say you trade down from
one to five. If you're going down that far, you're
getting their first, you're getting pick five, you're getting a Secon,
you're getting the third, you're getting next year's first and
second like stuff like that. Maybe you're getting next year's
(30:06):
first and the following years first. Teams do that stuff.
They get draft quarterback fever. So here's the thing. All
we have is this week. I don't know what the
next few weeks are gonna hold. We play the Bills,
we play the Dolphins again, We'll play the Jaguars and
(30:26):
we play the Rams. I think all those teams can
beat us, but we can probably beat all those teams,
So you want to I mean, if we win one
and we're at four wins, usually four wins is enough
to get your top three pick. Right now, there are
seven three win teams and two two win teams. It's crazy.
(30:51):
It's crazy out there. So you're gonna need to suck
if you do this. Now. Is winning a game against
the Bills. I mean it's division ya yay, you know.
But at the end of the day, if that win
pushes you to pick ten and that trade, shit is
out the window. You're gonna it's it's the franchise can change.
(31:17):
Think about this, if you get the first overall pick
or even second overall, top three, let's say, and you're
trying to court the Vrabels, the Ben Johnson's over here.
When they look over here and they go, Okay, they
got Breis Hall, they got Garrett Wilson, they got Sauce Gardner,
they got Quincy Williams, Quinn Williams. They got Jermaine Johnson
coming off an injury, but he's a stud. You got
(31:39):
Brayln Allen and Isaiah Davis and they got the second
overall pick huh huh, you see it, or they got
picked ten, they got pick eleven. It's a whole different thing.
There's an opportunity to do something, especially at the beginning
(32:00):
of a new era. So the Jets up to this point,
we don't know what the weeks are gonna hold, but
right now, this was a thing of beauty. This week.
We saw a full game of football, fun, We had
some laughs, we believed. We saw good downfield passing, you
(32:24):
saw good running, you saw some good defense at times,
and it was a game that went into overtime, exciting,
and we lost. The tank coupled with exciting football. If
(32:46):
we can pull that off, use the young players as
much as you can. Get JBC out there, Get Stiggers
out there, do it, Sauces hurt, let them rest, get
Stiggers on the field. Let's see see what he is.
Get JBC, let's see what they got. Play the young guys,
(33:07):
show up, play hard, give us some exciting football, and
at the end of the day we lose, and you
get that chance to get into the top three. Everything
for this franchise can change, and I mean everything. Everything
can change. I really do think it's got to be
(33:29):
the top two. It's all about Shador Sanders and cam Ward.
Somebody's gonna want to trade up for cam Ward as well.
I think lots of time left. But so if the
Jets can do this, maybe that's what we're seeing. Finally,
if Jets history is any indicator, then no, we're gonna
win some games. Half the fan base is gonna be
(33:50):
excited about it. We'll beat the Bills and we'll say, yeah,
you know, we won another division game and it's great
and it'll be fun to root and win, but we'll blow.
So if we can just have exciting fun football, those
not no more of the games. We're in the second
quarter just watching dead air. You know we can get
(34:10):
past that and still lose. We're doing it right. Finally,
and maybe, just maybe the Raiders pull one together and win,
and the Carolina Panthers pull one together and win. They
almost won today almost they got close. The Jags won
a game. If you can lose to the Jags next week,
(34:32):
that does nice. That's a good eat. That's a good one.
As I say, Nutrient Rich. With that all said, how
you feeling you think that they can pull this off.
They're not going to the playoffs for fourteen straight years.
Uh so we got it. That's for next year's dream.
That shit's out the window. Are they keeping Aaron Rodgers?
(34:53):
Are they gonna tank? What are we doing? Tell me
in the comments, I want to hear what you have
to say. With that all said, it's about us. We
gotta stay together. Jets fans, I love you, Thanks for
