Men hvordan kan vi stole på, at de digitale systemer gør, som de skal, så vi ikke pludselig mørklægger hele hovedstadsområdet, eller bilen laver en katastrofeopbremsning helt af sig selv?
Professor Kim Guldstrand Larsen fra Aalborg Universitet har i en årrække arbejdet både med at optimere anvendelsen af avanceret software til at styre vores infrastruktur og med at lave systemer, som vi kan "stole på”. Og det er en indsats, der rækker helt tilbage til den engelske pioner Alan Turing.
