Speaker 1 (00:01):
Man, we are back. No frills, no thrills, just brother, hot, tim, me,
my mic and of course you. And I'm gonna thank
you for taking the time and listening. Today. I want
to have a discussion about being lost. I did the
(00:22):
article recently called It's Okay to be Lost, and yes, yes,
it's okay to be lost. And I know some of
y'all out there feel me. But let's get into the article.
Let's get into it, let's get to record, and let's
get to building. It's okay to be lost. I've always
called my job an adventure. Those of you that's been
(00:43):
around in jammy journey, y'all know this, and I'm proud
of that. I love what I do, even with all
its challenges. But more than the work, life itself is
an adventure. And for anyone or listening to this, whether
a young or old, let me assure you it's okay
(01:05):
to be lost. Being lost is part of the journey,
is part of the process. Nothing is always going to
line up perfectly. Things won't always go according to plan,
and that's fine. The key is to learn to be
lost without panicking, learning how to be lost and still
(01:27):
keep your mind steady, Learn how to take a breath
and be still and move forward without fear. Too many
of us stress out when we don't have all the answers.
We feel like if we don't know exactly what's next,
something must be wrong. But that's not the case. Some
(01:52):
of the greatest growth happens in the confusion, some of
the best lesson since I learned in the wondering. Right now,
I'm in a season on my own uncertainty. For a
long time, I didn't want to leave America, but lately
(02:13):
I've been seeing things differently. I feel like America has
lost me, or at least it's no longer where my
future is calling me to be. Comfort can be a trap.
It keeps you in place when life is trying to
move you forward. But stepping into the unknown, embracing the
(02:34):
adventure forces you to grow. It forces you to find
new strength, new skills, and new paths, and being lost
you find yourself. And that's exactly what I intend to do. Now.
Those that's been checking me out reading my articles, little bitness,
I'm on my way to Ghana. I'm traveling this summer
(02:57):
and I'm really looking forward to it. And it's a
new chapter. But here we go. For those who don't know,
I'm making a move. I'm heading to God, and not
just for a short visit, but with the intention of
finding long term opportunities. I want to build something there,
to create, to explore, and maybe even stay. I don't
(03:19):
have all the details figured out yet, and that's the point.
I'm willing to get lost enough to find what I'm
looking for. Maybe this move will bring me back to
podcasting and vologging. It has already done that, y'all. See
I'm doing it right now. Maybe it will open doors
I haven't even imagined yet. But one thing is for sure,
(03:42):
I'm embracing this adventure fully. So to you, wherever you
are in my life, remember it's okay to be lost,
stay open, keep moving, trust the process. I wish you peace, power, enjoy.
This is for the Hot Tim. No frills, no thrills,
(04:03):
just me, Brother, Hot Tim. I'm out.
