Speaker 1 (00:05):
Oh Man, family Peace. This is best Tim and you
are now rocky with twenty nine fifty first episode. This
is two thousand, nine hundred and fifty first episode of
Jemmy Journey show. That's right. I know some of the
(00:27):
numbers are kind of off, but bear with us. We
are at two thy, nine hundred and fifty one. No frills,
no thrills, just me straight from the heart, well actually
straight from the script. Now, by the time you hear this,
I should be touched down already walking the red soil
in Ghana. But it don't look like it last week,
(00:50):
and you know, I actually wanted to do a podcast
to kind of, you know, celebrate the fact that we're
in Ghana. But we're not in Ghana. It's a long story, family,
and I'm gonna need some help. I need a lawyer
that don't mind possibly see in the country. I'm kind
(01:12):
of joking, but I'm kind of serious. Family, I am
not in Ghana right now because it's a long chain
of events. But it starts with Walgreens. Let's just say
that shit. It starts with Walgreens, it moves through the
State department and holding up my passport, and then finally
(01:37):
with this whole Ghana Fiesco. Now, not only was Ghana
dragging their feet with our visa, we expedited it. You know,
domp shit in modern days take seven days, not no
shit that needs to be signed. We all know this.
But anyway, but then in the process of us getting
(01:57):
our visa, the day eight right now is May twenty seventh,
y'a already y'all heard my show that I posted for
May twenty seven. We're moving our show to Kuba now
Saturdays to release for the shows I'm trying to record
these in the past. Officially, on May twenty seventh, actually
it was May twenty six, they shut down the Ghana Washington,
(02:23):
DC embassy. Who just happens they have my passport. Not
only they have my passport, they have one of my
young brother's passports. They have my white passport, and it
appears that they may have lost one of my brother's passports.
And I'm sitting up here like God damn Ghana. Like
just last year was talking about the year returning, walking
(02:43):
on everybody and more than African Americans to come and
participat and then I get this shit right, So it's
a possibility that this year's Jimmy family trip to Ghana
may be scrapped. We still have hopes out, but we
are looking at It's already Coumber night for those that
(03:04):
are INITIATD Tuesday night. We are presently waiting for the
visa to come and it has to get here before
Friday or near night so that we could drive to
New York. But I don't know if it's not looking good,
(03:26):
So you know what I'm saying. Hopefully I will be
hitting y'all with the next show. No, maybe the next
three shows or three shows from now, possibly from Africa.
If not, then we'll just postpone the trip until oh
my god, I hate to say this all the way
until next summer. I know, I know, but it is
(03:49):
what it is. So right now on this podcast, right
once again, we're moving our release states to Koumba. I'll
be letting everybody know. I'll be posting a little bit
more on some of these social medias. I'm trying to
get back into the podcasting game. I'm loving it, but
(04:10):
I've been real busy with trying to get all this
stuff together for this trip that may not come to
pass because I was already expected to be in Ghana
to day. This was supposed to be the official first
day in Ghana, and I'm sitting in my bedroom. I'm
looking at the same old room, right, So let's give it.
(04:38):
Let's get a movie. So this podcast is called Raising
Rulers Versus Rais Versus Raising Employees, Episode twenty nine fifty one.
All right, no frids, no thrills, It is just brother
hot tim, So listen up. This whole thought started while
I was washing dishes. Ain't it funny how true s
(05:00):
shows up in the middle of soap and SuDS. My
wife showed me a video Elon Musk's son talking to
Donald Trump. Little man looked like looked like he was straight,
and he was looking him straight in the eyes and said,
you're not the president.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Go away boded And it was disrespectful maybe, but that
ain't what stuck with me.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
What hit me was the mindset. That's not just a
child talking reckless. That's a child raised to believe he's
a ruler, raised to believe his words shift rooms, that
he belongs at the table, or maybe that he owns
the damn table. And that's when it hit me. We,
(05:59):
especially in the black community, we're not raising rulers. We're
raising top tier employees, polished, respectful, quiet when needed, on time,
focused on being twice as good for have the recognition
and a quarter of the money. We teach our babies
(06:20):
speak only when spoken to, stay in line, don't question authority,
be asked, excellent at following orders. Meanwhile, elite families are
raising children who are taught rules, are flexible. Your voice
matters even when it shakes the room, take risks. The
world is yours to shape. It's a completely different game,
(06:43):
different mindset. So what happens when a child raised like
a ruler walk into a room with a child, or
children raised to obey the ruler, They as soon the
room belongs to them, the employee. They're scanning for permission,
hoping to be good enough to stay. And that's not
(07:07):
just about confidence, that's generational programming. That's about who ends
up controlling wealth, policies, ideas the future. We love talking
about self esteem, right, but how can our children believe
in themselves when their whole upbringing tells them to play small?
(07:32):
How do they feel when they're constantly being told to
stay humble while other kids their age are told to
own a moment It's not about school of grades, It's
about mindset. We got to stop raising our children to
be cogs in someone else's machine and start raising them
(07:52):
to build the machines themselves. Here's what I'm saying, fam,
It's time to raise rulers not to die dominate, but
to own their destiny. That means teach them to question everything,
not just nod and smile. Feed the leadership skills not
just obedience, push and ownership, ownership mindset, not just survival
(08:15):
and security. Show them power, influence, and wealth building early,
not just struggle and hustle. The game is being played
whether we like it or not. The question is are
we training our children to win or to serve the winners.
This has been episode twenty nine fifty one, and yes
(08:36):
we've done it. It's coming to you on coumbas. All
the shows now will be releasing them on coumas. I
just gotta make a note of it from wherever I
am in Ghana. I'm not in Ghana right now, of course,
the script was win beforehand. I wrote this script. Well,
I'm so coming to you life from wherever I'm at.
I'm in Columbus right now, across space and time, but
(09:00):
always from the soul. Stay strongest. They woke, raised rulers.
This brother Tim, and I'm signing off
