or so ago. It was a really popular video, got
a lot of really good comments on it. I checked
my win link email yesterday. It's not the first time
I've checked it since that video, but I checked it
yesterday and I had forty three win link emails that
you guys sent me. So thank you, KC five HWB

But when Link Wednesday happens every week on Wednesdays, and
it is something that is just a way to you know,
and if you're tired of sending emails to people that
don't check it very regularly, I've tried to, Like I said,
I've been trying to check mind more regularly, two to
three times a week, something like that. I know that

Jason came for Ack I know he checks his just
about every day. But if you don't have if you
want to try something else and try another group and
get more win link activity, When link Wednesday is a
perfect opportunity for it. It's basically, for lack of a
better description, it is a net on win link and
you just send an email. This is all the Whinleinkdnesday.
Dot net is the website. That's what we're looking at

right here, different links to different things weather radio aids
like grid square, locator, RF, line of site map, this
kind of thing. When when link Wednesday's current week's net
report and roster This is from last week? Okay, and
up here at the top kind of at the top
here net reminder. If you click on here, it'll have

today's date right there, so it'll show the date at
the top right there, and it says standard check ins
this week, no weather snapshots or attachments of any type
please who. It's open to all amateur radio operators. What
when link Wednesday win and it gives the date it's
twelve UTC. It's midnight UTC today to midnight UTC. Yeah,

this actually says noon on Tuesday to noon on Thursday,
so it actually goes a little bit longer than I
didn't know that. I thought it was just midnight to midnight. Okay,
there we go. How this net will accept check ins
via win link email only, send check in via any
RMS during the timeframe above, or participate in one or
both of the P two P sessions. I don't know

what that is. May have to look that up later.
I think I actually do know what that is, so
maybe we'll talk about that in a second. Please do
not use tel net win link connection, which defeats the
purpose of wind link. In other words, don't use win
link over the internet. Connect to an actual RF. The
goal is to have a message leave your station via RF.
Please remember to use the correct format two kN four LQN.

Subject is win Link Wednesday check in and the message
is your call signed first name, city or town, county, state,
HF or VHF etc. And they give an example below.
Here's the P twop. So morning session is an r
P twop. And I don't know if I don't know
how this was. I've never done a P two P
appeer to peer. I'm not sure if I'm not sure

how this works. I'm not versed enough in whin link
to to know how this works. Okay, but I have
done whin link Wednesday in the past and they basically
I just send an email to the above and a
short time later, it might be even on auto responder,
you get an acknowledgment back and then at the end
of the day they send like a list of all

the check ins and you're included on that list. So
again not a huge I mean it's great for testing
your win link connection. You want to test your local
packet repeater, your local packet gateway, or your local RMS
gateway or your local pack tour gateway something like that.
Like I said in my packet win link video that

I did last week, we used wode win link over
Android and it only works on packets, so it doesn't
work on Vara, Vara FM or RDP or pack tour
any of the other modes that you can connect to
win links. So if you're doing win link over HF,
this is a good opportunity to try that. Try your

local twenty meters or forty meters win link gateway, see
how well your station is working. And this is a
good way to test your wind link so that you
know how to work it in the field should you
ever need it. So let's go out here and check out.

gonna check that one again. I'm gonna go back up

if we can into it, and if not, I'll go
connect to the other one that I did the other day.

have checked win Link from sitting at this location several times.
That's my mailbox store right behind me, and for whatever reason,
this usually gets into that node pretty well. But it
is not. Is not liking that right now. So Roger
