The internet is kind of stable because I'm on cell phone. Okay, jesus,

Speaker 6 (02:14):
That's what we get.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine.
It's all good. Uh So yeah, Lake State Park.
Speaker 6 (02:24):
I set up I set up the alpha antenna already
and it's in the air.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Nice. And what else.
Speaker 9 (02:31):
I got going on?
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Dude?
Speaker 6 (02:34):
The you gotta go come watch the video when it's released.
How I have this Nintendo thrown up in the tree.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
It's just okay, okay, we can do that. We can
do that. Good, all right, Okay, so we got okay,
got Fred Fred from q r Z has joined us
a A seven B Q, thanks for being your friend.
(02:59):
Where you got tonight, Well, I'm in oops, yeah, you're good,
You're good.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
I'm in near a Flagstaff, Arizona, in a little town
called Mon's Park.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Okay, and it's very.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Nice out here, quite a bit different than the Phoenix, Arizona.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah, I've been through Flagstaff once. I'd like to go back.
It's a beautiful place. Really like it out there. We
love it so good. Well, thanks for joining us tonight. Man,
feel free to jump in. It's very informal. Just just
feel free to pipe up whenever you want to. Don't
let these guys, don't let these guys run you off.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Okay, we'll give it a shot, all.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Right, Julio, what's going on, buddy? How are you?
Speaker 7 (03:45):
Pretty good?
Speaker 9 (03:46):
Pretty good?
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Glad to be back here.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yeah, y'all wanted to do this again pretty quick. That
was kind of unexpected on my side. I was like,
really want to do this again? Okay, yeah, we'll do
it again. So so good deal. But yeah, thanks for
thanks for hosting, or well, thanks for being here as
the co host. I guess you could say we're gonna
flip over here to the deals page on gigaparts. So
(04:12):
for those of you who might be new if you
haven't joined us on this before, this is our fourth
time to do this in the last ten months, eleven months,
something like that. And basically what happens is you go
to deals dot gigaparts dot com. You see a page
that looks like this at the top, and you fill
(04:35):
out this form over here on the right hand side,
your first and last name, email address, the item skew,
the regular price, and your offer. And these are the
offers that have been made so far by everyone in
the chat who's watching right now. Oh, that's quite a
list actually, And if you want to partake in an offer,
it's not just an offer for you, it's an offer
(04:55):
for everybody. So like here's a good example right here,
the anytne once eight duel their newest dual band DMR
Radio Desmond, offered one hundred and eighty dollars and they
accepted at one hundred and eighty dollars. The one above
it's a chameleon antenna. The m coil offer with sixty
five dollars they accepted at seventy seven dollars. Sometimes it
(05:16):
comes in a little bit, sometimes the offer is accepted.
Sometimes it comes in as a well, let's negotiate, and
last time they they accepted a few that were actually
lower than the price that was offered. So but that's
everything that's going on right here, and everyone can partake,
and when the live stream ends it these deals will
(05:38):
be closed. So somebody was asking in the chat earlier
Julio about out of stock items and I know that
I think Robbie or whoever's running the gigaparts chat account answered,
but can you go ahead and tell us how that's
going to work? Just verbally.
Speaker 10 (05:56):
Yeah, if they if the items out of stock, Aslana
se actual pay for it on the it's gonna be
on back order. But if they do it right after
the time end it, there's no way to uh, we
can owner the price.
Speaker 7 (06:10):
So you have to do it within it with.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Gotcha? Okay, yeah, and we're gonna go for about two
hours ish. So but well, I mean, you guys hang
out and we'll let you know when it ends and
you'll be able to get in before that. They told
me last time that everyone had put a bunch of
stuff in their cart and like five minutes before it ended,
everyone hit go and it was like, oh my god.
(06:36):
It was like, wow, we got we tested our servers
tonight like good goodness. So h yeah, I don't blame
you for doing it that way, but you know, if
you have trouble with the website, maybe don't wait till
last minute. So just uh, you know, word of advice
out there? Cool? Okay? H A c K. What's up buddy?
Speaker 7 (06:57):
How are you?
Speaker 11 (06:59):
Oh man in life? Getting ready for field day? And
glad to be here tonight?
Speaker 7 (07:04):
Good?
Speaker 4 (07:04):
I was sitting here scrolling through some of the deals myself.
Speaker 9 (07:08):
I know it.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
I had several people getting ready for field day.
Speaker 9 (07:12):
I'm already out here.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
You're early, Frank, you got a head start the uh
that I got several. I got a message in Discord
and to my email a couple of replies to my
email today saying that I'm gonna have to skip tonight
because my wallet can't take it anymore. Such as life,
(07:36):
I guess you know a good deal? Uh, Jason, where
are you gonna be going for field day?
Speaker 11 (07:42):
I'm gonna be hanging out with the local club. I
usually put up a couple of APRS things. This year
we'll be trying APRSS over HF and then providing tech
support for anyone who may or may not need it.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Nice Okay, yes, So apparently Jason was doing HF or
I'm sorry, eight aprs over forty meters last night and
making it from Tennessee to where'd you say, California?
Speaker 4 (08:09):
Some we're up around Seattle.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Seattle. Wow.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
Yeah, that's every single pain every thirty minutes. Yeah, and uh,
on the other side of the country. It's Washington State.
I think it's somewhere around Seattle.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Okay, all right, yeah, it's pretty cool, Jason.
Speaker 8 (08:23):
Do you just do a wide one one dash one
for that and that's it.
Speaker 11 (08:28):
I did not put a path at all because it's
not going to be digit pedd gotcha.
Speaker 8 (08:33):
Okay. I was gonna say that's it's a little dangerous,
but yeah, I guess you don't put any path and
then it's okay that way, Oh boy, that's one on you.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Just got heard worldwide.
Speaker 8 (08:48):
I was gonna say, what, like, that's a little dangerous,
but you know it's your call sign.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
We talked about. My call sign always gets heard worldwide.
Every time I go to PODA, people all over the
world hear me already.
Speaker 8 (09:03):
Well, yeah, they pick you on their reverse beacon.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
That's right.
Speaker 8 (09:07):
And then everyone's connected of the other net.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 8 (09:11):
Yeah, it's a world wide.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Okay, a bio Wino twelve twelve, that bio one O
twelve twelve battery twelve twelve empower is the largest legal
battery that you can carry on an airplane. TSA will
tell you it's one hundred watt hours, but if you look,
and I think it varies by airlines, but on a
(09:37):
on American airlines, I should say on American airlines, they'll
let you carry up to one hundred and fifty WAE
hour battery. This is one hundred and forty four white
hours because twelve bolt's time twelve ans is one hundred
and forty four. So that is technically the biggest one
that you can legally carry on an American Airlines flight.
I may or may not have taken a twenty empire
one time, just told him, oh, no, it's just you know,
it's it's twelve. Oh okay, yeah, and they didn't look
(09:59):
at it.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
So yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
So another time they took a flashlight away from me
because they said it had a razor on it, and
it was it did, but it was hidden and it
was a seat belt cutter for getting out of a
seat belt, like you know, if you get in a
wreck or something you can't get your seat belt off.
It cuts a seat belt. So I'm like, oh, no,
this is a knife. I'm like, ah, okay.
Speaker 8 (10:21):
Didn't you get detained or get re checked whenever we
went up to the northeast and did poda, was that
because of your battery? Or on the way back you
got you got pulled aside and they put your your
bag through the scanner like three times. Yeah, we had yeah,
and we had to wait there and then they finally
cleared it, and I kind of figured it was maybe
(10:43):
because of your battery, but I can't remember anymore.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
I think, I mean, I mean I think that that
I think they looked at the battery, but I've had
him look at my battery before that time. For whatever reason,
they wanted to look at everything, and I'm just like,
oh my gosh. So and the person doing it was
incredibly slow.
Speaker 8 (10:58):
Yeah, So, I mean I waited there for you for
probably ten minutes maybe.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Yeah, longer yeah yeah probably. So Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 8 (11:06):
But I've noticed that if I take my KX three,
I have to take the KS three out of the
bag and put it separate if I if I include
it with anything else, it gets flagged.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Really okay, I'm not sure that I've flown with my
KX three, so that's a that's good to know. I
flew with my seven oh five. I was just telling
someone earlier today. I was talking on All Star and
I flew with my seven O five when we went
to Alaska last year and I tried to do some
PODA from Alaska. The bands were crap. I couldn't even
get FT eight to work. But then we got a
(11:40):
cruise ship and they say that you're not supposed to
take a ham radio on a cruise ship. I just
packed it up, put it in the bag and didn't
tell anybody, and nobody nobody asked, so I just kind
of let.
Speaker 8 (11:51):
It to Yeah, let it roll, don't ask, don't tell.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Yeah exactly. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
So what antenna did you end up using on the
cruise ship.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
I didn't. I didn't. I actually didn't get it out
on the cruise ship, but I tried to in Alaska
and it was what did I use? I want to say,
I used just like it was either it was either
the the pac ten or it was it was not
the Buddy Pole it was an it was an infed halfwave.
So I had the I had the I had the
(12:22):
small PoTA twenty mast. I had the PoTA twenty mast.
You know what, I've already packed my PoTA twenty masks.
So Gigaparts is doing this thing now where they'll they'll
laser etch your call sign on the PoTA twenty mast.
Speaker 7 (12:32):
Oh that's nice.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
So I got doing it for all of the masks.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Now, are they okay?
Speaker 2 (12:37):
I believe so, yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
I have.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
I've been looking at the thirty three h and the
thirty three. I purchased the thirty three two days ago
when they put it on back order, and there is
a item to parsonalize for the product your name or
call signed for ten dollars, which is very nice.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Yeah, yeah, I got, I got mine done. Was out
there last week. So that's cool. All right, let's see
hold on blah blah blah blah blah. I saw questions,
saw questions, saw question Where did it go? Can you
make multiple orders for multiple things? Yes, Brady, just put
put it on your cart and check out when you're ready.
So click on get deal to here's a Digi rig
(13:16):
DR eight ninety one offer of seventy oh one from
Uhlilah and it was accepted at seventy dollars in one cent.
So just click on get Deal, put it in your cart,
go back to this page, and if you want something else,
click get Deal again and just adds to your cart.
That was what they did last time. There's a lot
of people that were waiting until the end of the
stream and they had two, three, four eight items in
(13:37):
their cart and everyone checked out at the same time,
and that like the last five minutes of the live stream.
So somebody said they had the problem loading the page.
I've hit refreshed two or three times. It's loading just
fine for me. So, uh no, Daniel, the page is
not down.
Speaker 8 (13:52):
Oh I just refreshed.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
It looks looks.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Good, looks right, looks okay to you. Right fine, yep,
it's probably getting hammered right now. We got four hundred
and fifty people watching, so that's good. But yeah, so
all right, Julio, we want to do a giveaway, buddy,
are you handling that or what.
Speaker 9 (14:15):
The giveaway?
Speaker 2 (14:19):
No?
Speaker 1 (14:19):
But I can check, okay, am I supposed to handle it.
If I'm supposed to handle it, that's fine. Okay, h
throat is dry tonight, Bill? How do we qualify for
the dual prize giveaway? You are here, so you qualify.
(14:42):
You have to be in the chat and present to win.
Speaker 8 (14:54):
They're doing this again already.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Right, yeah, oh boy, we'll do a we'll do a
keyword giveaway here in a minute, guys. So oh, let's
see sight went down. A lot of people are saying
the site's not responding. So let me.
Speaker 8 (15:14):
Oh, I just refreshed and it's uh, it's spinning. Nope,
it came back up. It's fine by me.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
A little bit slower, mind spinning right now too, but
it just it just had that arrowintenna pop up.
Speaker 8 (15:28):
Yeah, mine, Uh, it's it's up. It's just slow.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
I'm scared.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
There it goes. Oh okay, okay, so now now I
get site can't be reached, but pages getting hit hard
in e yo. There you go. Just be patient. There
it goes.
Speaker 8 (15:48):
It's just like an old ham. Just gotta be patient
with it.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
Just pressure with a stick.
Speaker 8 (15:55):
Hopefully this page will not go to seventy two.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Well, it's like a Windows box. You gotta be patient
with it.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
It's page.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
A lot of you can't do that. I don't know why, but.
Speaker 8 (16:08):
Harold was slow, but he was old.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Right. Oh boy, okay, so it just came back from me.
This is working much better than in the past. Yeah,
I don't know it. We're pretty good couple weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Yeah, I don't recall anything anyone ever mentioning last time
there was an issue with the page.
Speaker 8 (16:28):
No, So does the page automatically refresh or do you
have to manually refresh?
Speaker 1 (16:33):
No, it automatically if you scroll down path to active deals,
this active deals page will should should automatically refresh that
in arrow intena has been there for a while on
my page.
Speaker 8 (16:44):
Yeah, so guys, don't like hit the refresh button if
it automatically refreshes, just let it, let it do its thing, right.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Yeah, okay, I'm handling the giveaway. Good deal. Okay, So
are we giving away the same thing we're gonna give away.
A qr Z one is what we're gonna give away,
and we're I think we're gonna do multiple ones of these, right,
that's right? So, okay, this is a qr Z one
Explore QRZ one five wat duel band Ham Radio. That
(17:16):
it's quite good. They took they took one of the
Chinese radios and wrote a custom firmware for it and
works quite well. So Carlos has jumped out of a
plane with one of these radios and it survived and
it still works, so you know it's good. So there
we go right there. All right, So we're gonna do
let's see, I've got Okay, we're gonna do a keyword.
(17:38):
So what we're gonna do is we're gonna create a keyword.
Frank I was testing this earlier today and testing the
keyword generator and the keyword that was in there from
last time was sapphire. So that's how long it's been
since we used it. So we're gonna do. Let's do
a keyword of qr z. Qr z is the key word.
(18:00):
Everyone type qrz into the chat and you will be
automatically entered into the giveaway and we'll pick a winner
and then we'll move on to something else. Brett has qrz.
There we go, restream bought. All right, there we go,
six entries, eleven all right, good, good deal, that works
(18:26):
just fine. Oh there we go forty nine fifty two entries.
Speaker 8 (18:29):
Okayhle bunch of held for a review? Are you getting these.
Uh oh, what I'm seeing on the admin side messages
are getting held for review because it's repetitive.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
Oh no, I'm not seeing that. Where are you seeing
that in the chat? No, I'm looking at the chat.
I don't see that.
Speaker 8 (18:50):
You don't see that.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
I'm not. Yeah, I'm seeing a few of them.
Speaker 8 (18:55):
Yeah, okay, well go ahead and uh yeah, go ahead,
and we're gonna go ahead and show all.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
These so yeah, show all those.
Speaker 8 (19:00):
Give us give us some time here.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
I've got my chata. Yeah, that's fine, we got time.
I've got my chat popped out. That's I bet that's
why the pop out chat doesn't work as well as
the non pop out chat.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Up.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
Now, I'm running pop out and it showed him over here,
did it?
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (19:15):
All right, I've never had problems with pop out chat
when okay, doing stuff.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Okay, it's scrolling by pretty.
Speaker 8 (19:21):
Quick, so yeah, just give us a few minutes here.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
That's fine. We've got one hundred and sixty two entries
so far and four hundred and fifty people watching, so
you guys catch up five hundred and fifty people watching.
Speaker 8 (19:33):
Sorry, wow, I think I think we took care of it.
I think Oh, no, no, to see some other ones. You
guys are just too quick.
Speaker 12 (19:45):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
The page is refreshing again too, so we're good.
Speaker 8 (19:54):
Let's see.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
That's it. That's what the that's what the ruling chat
looks like right now.
Speaker 8 (20:04):
All right, I think we got all of them. It
looks like to me all of them have been entered
and accepted.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Good. Thank you Kyle and Jason. It's alway, Jason, have
good admins.
Speaker 8 (20:19):
You see anymore? Up there's another one.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
Every time I click on one, it says another moderator
handled this.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
You gotta be quick, Jason. I'm not seeing that. I
don't know why I don't see that. That's weird. Huh.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
Okay, Kyle's clicking the show button too quickly.
Speaker 8 (20:39):
I just got my mouse, like you know, it's like
a backer at or whatever. That's it's like a I
can do.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
That's whack a mole. Yeah, that's it. Whack a mole.
Speaker 8 (20:50):
Sheeez, whack and entry.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
Oh there's a deal right there. Comment C A two
by four antenna for sixty bucks. That's good. That's a
wide banded two meters seventy centimeter, but it will cover
mers and gmrs. It's a wide banded antenna. It's a
nice antenna. I like Commet Antenna's. They're they're my favorite
antennas for mobile. Bless you. Let's see Palomar Chameleon, rig Expert,
(21:32):
hyper X refurbished hyper X plus, Pulse fire Core. Oh
it's a gaming mouse. Okay, I was what and look
at the picture Chameleon L E F S. That's a
good INTENDA right there, yazu FT thirty one sixty five
good okay, I comm twenty seven thirty a offer of
(21:54):
two point fifty accepted. Deal was two eighty nine. Anytime
you can get a Jabpanese dual band, full featured radio
like that for under three hundred dollars, that's a good deal. Uh, Tim,
I don't think so. The the the plug in does
(22:19):
it if you if you put the if you put
if you enter QRZ multiple times, the plug in will
not put you in there more than once, so unless
you're logged in via more than one account or something
like that. So we've got two hundred and nineteen entries
right now, and we're gonna go ahead and fire this
off because we're gonna do this again. There's gonna be
(22:41):
a few of these qrz ones giving away tonight. So
I'm gonna click on choose a winner, and that winner
is g Mart, and it should put that in the chat.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. G Mart is
the winner, and it's not putting in the chat. It's
probably just the chat's probably too full for it. So
(23:04):
g Mart, you are the winner of the qr Z one.
I need you to send me an email or hit
me up on Discord, whichever, and let me know your
name and mailing address. So please please hit me up,
let me know your name and mailing address. We'll get
that set up for you. We're gonna do another one.
That's not the only one we're doing, so don't don't
(23:24):
go anywhere. We're going to do a couple of these.
So g Mart's better than kmart. G Mart. Yeah, gm
Mart won that giveaway. We'll do another one here in
a few minutes, so don't go anywhere. Do a few
of these. Okay, what else we got? Hi calm, Yeah,
there we go.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Yodel on the rig Ex for AA six fifty.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Yeah, I saw that that is good. Got the pot
A twenty Master on there for seventy nine ninety six.
Speaker 8 (23:57):

Speaker 2 (24:00):
All three master on there. The thirty three is like
ninety eight ninety nine dollars, okay, and the thirty three
h is two twenty nine.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
I think the thirty three h is back ordered.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Yes, yeah, we actually got.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Them already, Jason, did you okay?
Speaker 2 (24:17):
All right?
Speaker 4 (24:19):
No, I'm sorry that we all sorry.
Speaker 9 (24:20):
We have a bunch of the regular ones.
Speaker 10 (24:22):
We got a bunch coming.
Speaker 5 (24:23):
On the age.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Okay. Yeah, I knew you had a bunch of the
regular ones. So there's GM mart in the chat, hey, buddy, Yeah,
so hit me up, send me an email KC five
hwbgmail dot com, or hit me up in Discord. If
you're in Discord, send me a DM and Discord just
needs your shipping address and QR. I'm sorry, Gigabarts will
drop ship that to you. GM mart one a QR
(24:48):
Z one. This little dual band HT right here, and
we're gonna give another giveaway, another one of these, a
few more of these as time progresses. So you guys
stick around, all right? So yeah, good, yeah, okay, Yeah,
I knew you guys had thirty threes in stock, but
(25:09):
the hds were backwarded when I was there last week,
so I wasn't sure what the status.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Of that was.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
The way, okay, good deal, Son, have any filment in here,
because I might want some filment. Go ahead, Fred, what's up?
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Yeah, Jason, I just though was wondering if I might
say something about the q r Z one.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Absolutely, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
I'm the I'm the guy who basically thought the thing
up to begin with. A couple of years back, I
thought that it would be nice for q r Z
to give something back to the hobby, and my initial
goal was to purchase a thousand radios and give them
away to new Hams, just as a as a welcome
(25:58):
to the hobby sort of a that's true, and so
we did that. We gave away a thought we well.
I got in touch with Robbie Sparrot at Gigaparts, and
with his help, we were able to find a manufacturer
who would give us the version that we wanted, with
(26:22):
the software that we wanted. And it was very, very good,
and the radio turned out to be a handy little gadget.
And after the first order, we went ahead and made
another order and after a while we finally put them
up for sale. But that's how it got started. It's
(26:43):
got started with me wanted to give away a thousand radios.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Wow, how long did that take to give you all
those away?
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Huh? Pretty fast. I'd say two or three months something
like that.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Okay, yeah, I thought it was pretty quick. I couldn't
remember exactly how long it was, so okay, okay, uh okay.
So Robbie just told me that we have ten of
those HT radios to give away tonight. So we've given
away one and we'll need to do I'm gonna do
another one here in just a minute. So we got
(27:16):
nine more to give away, so uh, let's see. So okay,
so justin yeah, I think you saw their reply. We
cannot take deal offers on the ID fifty two icon
controls the price on it. Let's see. Where's the link
to the deal's page on giga parts It shows the offer.
It's deals dot gigaparts dot com is the page you're
looking at on my live stream right now, deals dot
(27:38):
gigaparts dot com. If you go to gigabarts dot com,
there's a big red banner at the top. Just click
on that. It will take you there. Okay, good deal,
traveling Ham, what's up, buddy, Okay, let's do another one
of these, because we got nine more to give away,
(27:58):
so why not a right? Uh, somebody think up a
keyword for meda poda. That's a great one. Hold on
one second, let me set that up. Okay, close, let's
see the keyword. Poda. Done. Okay, p O t A.
(28:27):
Everyone type poda. Adam, you were first, barely. I just
got it in there. Uh yeah, everyone type poda and
that is what we're gonna do.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
So we put h o A h o A.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Well we did the first time, So poda this time.
Q R e q I q R m Oh boy,
Oh yeah, cha nuts h Are you guys getting more
(29:10):
of the moderate I don't know why I can't see those.
I do not see those usually. I see those when
that happens, and I'm not seeing those right now at all.
Speaker 8 (29:18):
There's more more than last time. Out of control.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Oh boy. We've got one hundred and five entries so far,
so we have more than that last time, but we
are getting through them.
Speaker 8 (29:39):
Google has h o aid this chat.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Oh my gosh, h wade this chat. It doesn't matter.
The keyword, uh he'll billy Ham doesn't matter. I did
it all caps, but it doesn't matter. The plug in
will catch it either way.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
It's like FT.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
It's like FT eight on field day in here.
Speaker 7 (30:10):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Oh boy, okay, good ftd X ten I'm sorry. No,
f td X one O one MP. That's a two
hundred watt model forty five twenty five. Yeah, I might
(30:33):
need some filament, Jason, what kind of filment do you like?
Speaker 4 (30:43):
I've used a little bit of everything.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Is there one you prefer?
Speaker 4 (30:48):
No? Not really?
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Okay?
Speaker 8 (30:51):
I printed everything in pet G.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
Uh okay, well I thought it, well, I I was.
I was asking name brand, But that's a good point. Also,
which which which type do you like?
Speaker 7 (31:05):
Well?
Speaker 8 (31:06):
I typically just get the the one that's I can
get from my microcenter, which is down the down the
road here, but I've used a bunch of different pet g's.
And the reason why I like pet G is because
it is a lot my printer likes it. But also
(31:29):
if I print like a dipole center, it's not gonna
melt in the sun.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
Right yes. Yeah. Sean in the chat is asking does
it does pet G stand up to Texas heat? And
it does most of your most of your mestastic devices
that are made by Spec five or pet G and
those things I've had those things in the truck for
a while and I've never had one melt on me.
So yeah, I've got I started with p l A
(31:55):
just because, but pet g is is the next thing
I'm gonna go to. And I'm told that. Well, someone
I was talking to at HAMSI last couple months ago,
back in March, she liked either. She said the bamboo
was good, but also she likes filment by American Filment.
(32:16):
So I haven't tried. I've only tried the bamboo, and
I've had really good luck with the Bamboo PLA so far.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
But I think you're good to run that giveaway.
Speaker 8 (32:25):
All right, Yeah, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
Okay, we've got one hundred and fifty seven entries. That's
less than last time, so but we got nine more
of these things to give away. So let's just choose winner.
Choose the winner, Who choose?
Speaker 2 (32:39):
Choose?
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Choose David Jackson. David Jackson is the winner, so David, please,
it's supposed to the plug in is supposed to put
the reason I'm doing the screen shares because the plugin
is supposed to put a message in the chat. But
that's fine, David Jackson, send me an em nail CAC
(33:00):
five hw be at gmail dot com or hit me
up on Discord, send me a DM on Discord. Just
need your name and mailing address. We'll get a q
r Z one out to you. In fact, you know what,
I'm gonna start making a list of these winners so
that I can keep track of it myself.
Speaker 12 (33:15):
G mart David.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Okay, that's two of two of ten. There we go,
right there. Okay, uh KB five U T. I was
in the house. I saw David there a minute ago.
Where'd you go? What'd you say there? Pet G h
(33:41):
F from Bamboo is great. Pc TJ is my new favorite. Okay, okay, yeah,
I don't have any I don't have any pet G yet.
I need to get some pet G and try that out.
Speaker 8 (33:52):
But you know whatever, So the the only thing that
you know gets me is whenever I do switch, I
have a PRUSA, and whenever I use my PRUSA slicer,
all of the settings, like the hot end settings, like
you know, the you know, the temperature, the bed temperature
and the hot temperature. All that is embedded inside of
(34:13):
the G code. So therefore I have to make sure
that I'm using the right if I'm going to go
and reprint something. I'm going to print it in p
l A, but I sliced it in in pat G.
I need to go in and reslice it and tell
the tell my my slicer that I've got a different
(34:36):
type of filament in there, because I've gotten caught a
couple of times and I'm like, why is this not working?
You know, it's just kind of spaghetti's all over and
you're just like, oh, because I don't have the hot
end you know as hot you.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
Know it it it doesn't seem like it doesn't seem
like the bamboo printer will allow you to do that.
In other words, when I've opened up, I downloaded a
couple of projects and that in fact, I printed two
of those powerpole holders that Jason sent me the other
I asked him for that file and he sent me
that file and I think you said you printed those
(35:08):
in pet G, right, yes, okay, So I opened that
and it called for pet G and I don't have PETG.
So I printed him in PLA and I just clicked
went in my slicer and said update configure and click
click a button like three times in boom, it's done.
So it doesn't appear like like you can't go in
there and send it send the print job to the printer,
(35:29):
because it'll come up and say, Nope, that's the wrong configuration.
So it's kind of dummy proof, which is good for me.
But but yeah, I understand what you're saying, Kyle. But
I guess that's one of the good things about the
Bamboo software.
Speaker 8 (35:43):
Yeah, you know, I think the technology whenever I bought
my PROOFSA many many years ago, it was you know
this way, And I think the technology has gotten to
the point now where it detects, you know, and it
kind of is dummy proof to be like, right, oh,
you put the wrong filament in for what the g
code was compiled for. I'm gonna throw an air until
(36:04):
you you know, you uh do it right. So right,
it's good, it's good.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Yeah, totally yeah, I agree. Okay, TS eight ninety Mezzi
and plenty Podaflex seven hundred feet for one fifty feet
(36:29):
of Hyperflex five for thirty seven bucks. That's good. Okay,
still got I'm coming in deals dot gigaparts dot com
is where we're at. That's the page that you looking
at on the screen right here, and uh, I spend
(36:50):
enough money in anything as possible. Uh. Pet G is great,
but you have to watch it absorbing too much moisture
before printing. Some brands even have to dry it right
after you open it before you can be used. Yeah,
I was. I was warned about actually, the the guy
who does the classes at gigaparts said that all filment
(37:13):
can get If it gets too wet or too moist
or too humid where you are, then it can be
a bad thing for the filment. But that's good to
know as well.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (37:24):
I I have my.
Speaker 8 (37:27):
Three D printer here in my basement and I've printed
with filament that is a year old. Didn't do anything
special with its just hanging out. But you know, this
basement is, you know, sixty eight degrees year round, a
little colder in the front winter. And yeah, I have
not had any issue, but I know that people are
(37:48):
religious about putting their their unused filament and plastic and
you know it's almost like cigars. Do you want to
put it in the.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Human humidor and you know, humid to fire? Yeah, in
that case, Yeah, I thought about doing that. I thought
about putting in a in a humidor and putting a dehumidifier,
stick in there with it or something. But yeah, I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (38:08):
Yeah, I keep mind sealed if I'm not using it.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
Do you you have special bags?
Speaker 4 (38:16):
They usually will come with a like a ziplock style bag.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
Mine, the ones that I got came with like a
vacuum sealed bag, and I just I had to cut
it open. You can't reseal it.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (38:27):
A lot of them, though, will come with an extra
bag in there with it.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
Okay, okay, so.
Speaker 11 (38:31):
A lot of the filaments, so I just stick in
one of those, throw one of the little drawbags in
there with it, and press out as much air as
I can and call it a date.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Yeah, okay, good to know. Cool.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
It probably depends on the filament too, some types like
pla out here in Arizona, you leave the bag open
for a couple of weeks and it just it gets
dry and starts cracking like spaghetti, and I think so
other yeah, other types of plastic. Depends on whether they're
a hygroscopic or not. And that's you know, that's what
(39:07):
it depends on. I don't know which ones though, well.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
I got one of the I got one of one
of my roles. It was a green it's like a
lime green color. And I put it in and it
broke after the printer sucked it in, and it broke
in the tube between the ASA and the printer of
the a MS in the printer, and I'm like, how
the heck do I get that out of there? So
I had to get I had to, you know, where
(39:35):
there's a ham there's a way. I had to get
kind of creative to get it out of there. But
I took that role out and I'm like, that roll
is awfully brittle. It seems like it's too dry. I
was worn to not let it get too moist or
too humid, but it seems like that one's too dry.
I don't know. Probably, I mean it probably goes both ways.
Speaker 8 (39:55):
I would imagine, says Prucement and Polymaker come in resealable bags.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (40:05):
I was going to get some pro cement, but at
the time they were not shipping to America, and I
think that they have it in the United States.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
Now, ah, Okay, did that resin based three D printing
die a slow death or what?
Speaker 4 (40:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (40:22):
I haven't seen much chatter on on resin three D printing,
but you know that I always think of resin three
D printing off all those people that like want to
make Dungeon and dragons characters.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh gosh.
Speaker 3 (40:37):
The world's most complex fidget spinner.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
Right right right, sheeeesh, that's funny. Okay, okay, all right,
let's uh, let's do another giveaway because I think they
said every ten minutes, but we're behind on that, so
all right, let's do a giveaway. Hey, somebody give me
a keyword. Q r M q r M. That's a
(41:05):
great one.
Speaker 4 (41:07):
Okay, that's what the chat looks like, cheat does.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
It's very true.
Speaker 12 (41:17):
Q r M.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
Okay, q r M.
Speaker 2 (41:20):
It is.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
There we go.
Speaker 8 (41:31):
Oh not q r T q R q r M
q r M.
Speaker 3 (41:36):
Six hundred spectators almost six y ten.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Now h mm hmm yeah, good turnout tonight, guys, Thanks
for being here. Appreciate everyone's time hanging out with us tonight.
Our a r it's not a r M. It's q
(41:59):
R three people in a row type to arm what
you guys? Look down at your keyboard. That's funny. Uh,
one hundred and.
Speaker 4 (42:10):
Ninety found on a keyboard.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
Yeah, right, still going, still going, still going, all right.
Speaker 4 (42:26):
I don't think we've got quite as many held for
review this time.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
Good, that's good. Did you see any yeah? Okay, oh yeah, okay,
yeah interesting Okay, and Teletron seventy five amp switching, power
supply two fifty nine power works MPPT solar charge controller
(43:00):
thirty three bucks.
Speaker 8 (43:08):
Okay, yeah, I think we got all of them.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
I'm not seeing anymore.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (43:18):
My scroll only goes up like maybe one hundred lines.
Speaker 1 (43:22):
So yeah, you can't. Yeah, it's that it's missed you
on that.
Speaker 8 (43:26):
Yeah, so that's why.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
I found one. Found one more?
Speaker 8 (43:31):
Yeap that Mike put it as what Delta San Francisco.
This is not field.
Speaker 9 (43:45):
Days, not field Day yet?
Speaker 4 (43:49):
Hey, Andy forgot please copy?
Speaker 8 (43:52):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
That Kyle. I had Sebastian on the live stream the
other night, do you know. But he's added to Polo.
Have you seen that?
Speaker 7 (44:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (44:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I had.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
Not seen that before. I'm like, oh my god, I've
got I got to use that just to use the
police Coffee feature.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (44:11):
So so if you download Polo, which is a really
cool logger. Unfortunately it's not for Windows and Mac yet,
but it's I mean coming. But if you put a
PC in the the exchange line, it will add up
all of the police copies that you hear during field Day.
And so then the winner, whoever gets the most police
(44:35):
copies is gonna get a beer. I'm gonna buy you
a beer. And then also I'm gonna three D princh
you a plaque and I'm gonna send it to you.
Speaker 1 (44:43):
Oh wow, called the police copy.
Speaker 8 (44:45):
Ar L field Day twenty five prize.
Speaker 2 (44:50):
Sheeesh.
Speaker 1 (44:50):
That's fine. I'm gonna have to use Yeah. I told
Sebastian I would use Polo on my trip that I'm taking,
So I'm gonna use it on field Day. We're going
to be in Colorado, but I'm probably gonna be operating
field Day from the from the cabin where we're at.
Speaker 8 (45:05):
So, yeah, this is a great thing about you know,
small little loggers that uh yeah, that you know, people
can that are nimble and you can make changes and
you know, you can do fun and crazy things like this.
It's it's great.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
I love it, right, totally agree.
Speaker 11 (45:28):
An ilk antenna. An ilk yoggi antenna just dropped for
like one oh.
Speaker 1 (45:34):
Nine one eight sixty three.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (45:38):
That is cheap.
Speaker 4 (45:39):
It is a that is a great antenna.
Speaker 8 (45:41):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
That's That's what I've got I've never actually used it
for satellites, but I have one of those because, like
Robert said, it's on the same it's the same polarization
for both two meters and for forty so unlike it. Yeah, yeah,
I think it's a little bit lighter than the arrow too,
if I'm not mistaken. But one hundred percent. What's up, Shane?
Hey shutting up to man?
Speaker 9 (46:05):
Oh, you know, sitting around having a beverage, and I
was like, oh, wait, there's a stream tonight. I should
probably check it out.
Speaker 1 (46:10):
Yes, there is. That is true two hundred and eighty
five entries in the chat.
Speaker 9 (46:17):
Oh, I have your hat, by the way.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
I need that. I need that. Well, I'm I'm driving
to Colorado tomorrow morning, be gone for a week, so
I'll get with you when I get back. What time
tour morning or like seven? Probably leave, Probably I canna
leave at.
Speaker 9 (46:32):
Like five thirty. We're going to drop on Missouri for
a whirlwind trip.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Some bozo scheduled a balloon thing
on field Day weekend. I'm told Frank was bitter about that.
So yeah, in Missouri.
Speaker 9 (46:45):
No, Missouri's is a day trip. I've got a I
bought a new basket. So I gotta go up to Missouri,
pick it up and bring it back to Texas. So
it's going to be a very long drive. They're made
the owner, the owner lives in. It's new to me, not.
Speaker 1 (47:03):
New Joplin's not a bad drive though. All right, let's
do uh, let's let's pick this winner. Two hundred and
eighty nine entries. Choose a winner. Arthur W six h
e R. All right, Arthur's in the chat a lot.
He is on my dish, my all Star server often,
(47:25):
so Arthur W six hu R. I know where to
find you, buddy, I know where to find you. But
but still send me an email case five HWB or
hit me up in Discord. That's fine. Let me know
your mailing address. You want that QR Z one shipped to,
and let me write down your names so I know
W six h e R. Okay, just like that KB
(47:53):
five you two, I says, uh, the page one load
and I want that O contenna.
Speaker 8 (48:00):
Yeah, that's a good price.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
That is a good price. Hell oh, let's see Okay,
all right, Shane, are you so what are you doing
this weekend?
Speaker 11 (48:13):
Then?
Speaker 1 (48:13):
If you're not doing Field.
Speaker 9 (48:14):
Day, well hopefully we're going to be setting up at
Lake Dallas. In Lake Dallas for a Fourth of July event.
There's twenty balloons. I believe they're going to be joining.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
Well that's when. That's next weekend though it's this weekend.
Well that the fourth of July is next Friday. It's
a week from tomorrow.
Speaker 9 (48:32):
So next Friday we're going to be doing over this
over Plano. We're going to be doing a flyover for
the July fireworks.
Speaker 1 (48:40):
So oh sweet, okay.
Speaker 9 (48:43):
We've got five corporate balloons that we fly and there's
a big fireworks just playing in Oak Point Nature Preserve
and we're going to do a flyover right before they
do the fireworks and stuff. So that'd be fun.
Speaker 1 (48:54):
Sweet okay good. We will be in Palo Duro Canyon
that night.
Speaker 9 (49:01):
It's a beautiful area.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
Yes, yes it is. I really like it out there.
Speaker 8 (49:09):
All right, I'm gonna head out. I have a stream
at eight pm that's doing so everyone that is watching
if you have an interest about creating your own ad
hot contesting contests. I'm gonna be doing a stream with
Alan in seven AKG and he's gonna show us some
(49:31):
software that he is programmed where you can just basically
create ad hot contest on the fly and contest with
your friends and just you know, do dynamic contests. So
we're gonna be talking about that and if you guys
are still streaming, I'll come back over. I don't know
if we're going to go for the full hour, but yeah,
(49:52):
that's what I'm gonna be doing at eight.
Speaker 1 (49:53):
We should do I worked on YouTubers contest, Yeah, we should.
Speaker 8 (49:57):
We could talk to you that.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
That's not my idea, so somebody somebody brought that to
me like two years ago. We've never done it, but uh,
there would be that would be a fun thing to do.
So share your share your link in the chat there
Kyle before you go, but thanks for joining.
Speaker 8 (50:12):
Yeah, thank you. Yep, have a good trip on or
have a good time on your trip, Jason. Yeah, we're
gonna you know, we're gonna be out there a little
bit later, so it's gonna be fun.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
Right Yeah. Yeah, but you guys, I'm gonna be activating
all those national parks after Field Day weekend, so you
guys look for me out there on Hamlert. Hopefully I
worked as many of you as I can.
Speaker 2 (50:34):
Yep, what.
Speaker 8 (50:37):
Also are you gonna be beaconing a p r S.
Speaker 1 (50:39):
Yes, Dash nine is Dash nine nine, yep, the truck
is Dash nine, so it'll it'll be going the whole time.
I've got one of those new iGATE minis from CSN
Technologies that i've it's a it's a two way. He
used to make a receive only eye gate man. Now
now the new ones a two way.
Speaker 11 (50:58):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (50:58):
I need to put that together and I've I've almost
done making a video for it.
Speaker 2 (51:05):
Now.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
Once I get all that done and completed, I want
to put that in the truck that way and turn
the aprs down to like one watt and just beak
into my iGATE right there, and I'm always online, right,
so right cool?
Speaker 8 (51:17):
All right, all right, thanks guys later, So yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:24):
Okay, guys, Well with that, I'm gonna big off as
well and take care of some things at q r Z.
It's a pleasure being here and I hope by you
all every success with this giveaway, and it sounds like
a great deal. We'll see you another time.
Speaker 1 (51:40):
Thank you for joining Fred, appreciate your time tonight, buddy.
Speaker 3 (51:43):
What's the deal? Guys?
Speaker 1 (51:44):
All right later, but okay, Raspberry Pie five eight gig
Pie five just came up. What's up?
Speaker 11 (51:56):
If it was Mr D that said he was going
to beat an a p R S, I would turn
everyone in the audience to send him a message.
Speaker 1 (52:03):
Absolutely. I might do that anyway, just for the hell
of it. So explain to me, Jason, how does it
work if I want to send you because I tried
this and you said you didn't get it? Can I
send you an APRS message from Texas to Tennessee not
on HF on two meters? Sure, but we both have.
Speaker 11 (52:26):
To have it goes through the internet, and we both
have to be online at the same time.
Speaker 1 (52:32):
Okay, So you have to have we both have to
have our radios on at the same time basically and
close enough to an I yes, okay, yes, because I
think the last time I tried, I texted you and
you're like, oh my radio is not on or something.
Speaker 4 (52:44):
So yeah, it's not storing forward.
Speaker 11 (52:46):
So both parties need to be online now in a
seven Q does run a service ap mail, I believe
is the name of it, where you can store a
message for another operator.
Speaker 1 (52:58):
Ah okay, uh, but you've.
Speaker 11 (53:01):
Kind of got to be a part of that, and
it's not quite as uh, it's not exactly as straightforward.
It's not hard, but it's not it's not exactly a
straightforward but okay, for a regular APRS message, we both
have to be online, our radios on. When I say online,
the radios have to be on for that message to
go through. And then yeah, obviously you both need to
(53:21):
be within sight of.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
A I gate right right, Okay, I'm.
Speaker 4 (53:28):
Seeing several reports in the chat of submissions not working.
Speaker 1 (53:36):
Yeah, I saw that too, and I opened Uh, I
was gonna go find some filment on another tab, and
the deal's pages not loading now either.
Speaker 9 (53:47):
It took me a couple of times to refresh to
get the deal space to work. Yeah, up, because I
see there's a Biolinal nine Ambier battery in there. There's
uh now it's now it's like auto refreshing.
Speaker 1 (53:59):
Yeah, my my second page just opened up. So yeah, okay,
we're good.
Speaker 9 (54:03):
There's a Pelomar snap on stair right in there. You
just gotta be you need to put an a toss
one twenty in there.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
I think it's already on there, is it? I believe so?
I think I saw it earlier.
Speaker 9 (54:17):
I see the elk. That's a great deal in the elk.
Speaker 4 (54:24):
There for three toilve.
Speaker 13 (54:26):
Yeah, get it, shame, get it, shame, do it?
Speaker 9 (54:32):
Well, do it.
Speaker 11 (54:33):
There's this feature in your browser.
Speaker 7 (54:38):
Do it.
Speaker 9 (54:38):
There's eight and ninety one in there too.
Speaker 5 (54:40):
Well see there you go. That's quite the combo, man.
Speaker 1 (54:42):
That is always perfect.
Speaker 9 (54:44):
That is your perfect to thirty three in there.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
The thirty three, the twenty and the thirty three h
are all in there.
Speaker 9 (54:55):
I don't see any all right, I want to search.
Speaker 4 (55:04):
That A is a that's what I run.
Speaker 9 (55:07):
That is a great deal.
Speaker 11 (55:09):
Yeah all right, that that blue button over there to
the right, Shank.
Speaker 9 (55:13):
I know, I gotta go get my credit cards.
Speaker 5 (55:14):
Hold on, Shank, Shane, do you need the number? I
can give it to you.
Speaker 9 (55:19):
I gotta, I gotta send it.
Speaker 4 (55:28):
You're going to get his car to ask his wife
for permission?
Speaker 14 (55:32):
Yes, yeah, a little booth.
Speaker 4 (55:37):
Gotta go get the secret card she doesn't know about
right right?
Speaker 1 (55:43):
Ah?
Speaker 13 (55:44):
So quick question, is there a limit on the number
of any of the items that are on a on
a deal? That so if they wanted to get three
elkin tennas.
Speaker 5 (55:54):
Is there a limit?
Speaker 1 (55:55):
That's a good question.
Speaker 5 (55:58):
Or or while supplies last.
Speaker 10 (56:02):
As long as they actually have the we have the
mountain stock.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
Okay, so, yeah, there's no limit. The site's just getting
hammered right now. Guys.
Speaker 9 (56:20):
That's usually what happens when great deals pop up.
Speaker 1 (56:24):
Yep, yep, that's all it is. The site's just being
hammered right now.
Speaker 15 (56:27):
So hey, Jason, you were talking about CSN technology just
a few seconds ago.
Speaker 4 (56:37):
We have an antenna tracker.
Speaker 5 (56:39):
Really a really good deal on it.
Speaker 1 (56:43):
I saw that pop up in the in the deal's
page a minute ago. Yeah, yeah, good deal.
Speaker 2 (56:47):
That is nice. I've seen it in action before. A
friend of mine is really rarely in the allies, like
kind of like Rob is digital rancher. Yeah, and I
saw him use one time. Is really need. It worked
really well.
Speaker 15 (57:05):
It works even better if you have at ninety seven
hundred it works well.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
That's what he had. Yeah, it worked. He was able
to keep making contacts for the entire paths of the satellite.
No problems. You are problem with other people.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 9 (57:24):
How do you make How do you make an offer
rather than just added to cart?
Speaker 2 (57:30):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (57:31):
If you go to deals at giga parts dot com
and can get the page to load, then there's a form.
There's a form up at the top, right.
Speaker 9 (57:39):
Okay, gotcha, yeah, make an offer.
Speaker 1 (57:44):
Okay, yeah, let's do another giveaway while we're waiting on
this to go. Let's see. I can do more than
one winter at a time too, if we need to.
Let's see. All right, give me a keyword.
Speaker 5 (58:00):
Someone Shane's credit card.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
Give me one one key Yeah, give me your credit
card name with Shane. It's gonna be no, just one s.
A p r S.
Speaker 9 (58:17):
That's a good one.
Speaker 1 (58:19):
A p r S. Okay, everyone type a p r
S in the chat. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (58:25):
I only said that because you've said one word. So
m r D is wrong. Wouldn't be one word?
Speaker 1 (58:32):
We can take the spaces out of it and say
that a p r S. There we go. Okay, what
you know?
Speaker 13 (58:44):
I think according to the Hannibals, it's called apers ripers
APIs a p e r S. It's extended whatever it is.
Speaker 2 (58:54):
Is that like ham r S? Yeah, hammers, Yeah, it's
ham rs. No, it's hammers.
Speaker 1 (59:04):
I call it hammers.
Speaker 2 (59:05):
I think the majority people by I heard a few
called ham rs.
Speaker 1 (59:09):
I'm like, well, it means ham radio software. Yes, so yeah,
ham rs would be correct, but everybody calls it hammers.
Ham r S sounds. I don't know ham Hammers sounds better.
Speaker 2 (59:23):
It Yeah, ham rs just sounds wrong. It doesn't sound
right right because I think the majority people always have
always been calling it hammers, so it just seems like
it's you say something different. It's not right.
Speaker 13 (59:37):
So I see the Explorer MBP twenty backpack. Yes, regular
sixty nine dollars is on special for thirty nine ninety five.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
I saw that that's a good price, thirty dollars off.
Speaker 2 (59:50):
Yeah, I like that backpack. I got the Jason two
point zero one.
Speaker 1 (59:56):
So the one with uh, the one that I sponsored
with the red stitch is a waterproof sailcloth, so it's
similar to like Dynama or something. The one the sixty
dollars job is just regular five hundred denier. Still a
great backpack, but it's not the waterproof version.
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
I had to give that red red tramp.
Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
Yeah, I thought. I thought that red threading really accented
it very well since it was a black backpack. I'm
gonna try to get them to do a blue threading
next they are officially I so I was. I was
at the Gigapart store in Huntsville last week and they've
been sold out on the website for I don't know,
maybe a month something like that. So I go into
the to the store and there's one on the shelf
(01:00:39):
and I'm like, is that the last one? And They're like, yeah,
that's that's the last one. I was like, I'm gonna
buy that. I want to buy that today and I'm
gonna do a giveaway with it. So they gave it
to me. They didn't even make me buy it. They
gave it to me. So I will be doing a
giveaway with that soon. I got a couple other things
that I'll probably gonna do giveaways for as well. So
we're gonna give away the very last waterproof red stitching
(01:01:02):
explore a backpack very soon. Yeah. I'm not able to
get the site to load it all anymore. Are you
guys in it?
Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
I am, yep.
Speaker 9 (01:01:12):
I just got I finally got back in.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
I'm getting updates.
Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
You're getting updates. Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
Yeah. The last things, uh, Palamar Engineers rfi ww ten
the noise back wall wart noise filter.
Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
Okay, let's see the the word that word for the
giveaway is APRS. Who got two hundred and fourteen entries
right now, that's what that looks like right there. Yeah,
(01:01:50):
the site is just getting hammered. Guys, just be patient
with it, try to get it to try to get
everybody in there. Two hundred and nineteen entries Jody Gigaparts
website dry run for the log Wook of the World
upgrade this weekend. That is that is the truth in
(01:02:14):
motion right there, my friend? Oh my god, we know that.
You know, like, if Google goes down on Monday, it's
going to be like people calling a double row. What
the hell do you guys do to the log Wook
of the world. There's so much data? Sheesh.
Speaker 13 (01:02:28):
Yeah, we talked about that last night on the stream.
Does it seem a little odd that they're doing a
major upgrade like that on the on field day weekend?
Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
I guess. I mean the site's going to be down
for like a week, so I don't know, but I don't.
I mean, I hadn't thought about it, Tim, Maybe I
don't know. Steve Molo in the house, buddy, what's up, dude? Okay,
(01:02:58):
all right, let's let's do this. We got two hundred
forty seven entries. I'm gonna I'm gonna. I'm gonna do
two winters this time. Do two winters. We've given away
three radios. So far we've got ten, so we've got
seven more. I'm gonna do two winters this time. So
the first one is going to be Mary sant Meyer.

Speaker 9 (01:05:03):

Speaker 1 (01:05:56):

blackstone grill and I think I got it from Amazon
or team one of them, and so it covers the blackstone.
You clean the blackstone, you put this on top of
it to keep the rust off of it. If you
keep the blackstone outside, works great. But I'm like, I

Speaker 5 (01:06:53):
Offering, asking for right, requesting.
Speaker 1 (01:06:59):

do with nothing to do with gigaparts. FedEx delivered it
to the wrong address, no picture, They didn't take any
picture as evidence. And when I looked around at my neighbors,
(01:08:44):
no one had the package. And I was like, what
the heck. My neighbor actually pulled it in like literally
right away as it got dropped at her doorstep, and
then like three hours later comes to me and says, oh,
I got your package.
Speaker 1 (01:08:58):
Oh, she did have it.
Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
She pulls some packages, doesn't look at them, and it
comes over earlier. She came over to my house and
it was for the other neighbor on her other side. Nope,

so I need an A M four motherboard.
Speaker 5 (01:14:25):
You can't run back on that, Jim.
Speaker 14 (01:14:27):
I'm on the Mac right now. I'm dual wielding computers here.
I've got a Mac and Windows up at the same time,
same mouse, same keyboard. Just hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:14:35):
Nowother el Contana popped up.
Speaker 1 (01:14:37):
Yeah, I saw this another another l bucks. What's what's
the difference?
Speaker 14 (01:14:43):
That's one.
Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
It's the same one, okay, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:14:48):
Log periodic seventy bucks was the deal's ninety one bucks? Right, Yeah,
the offer was thirty seven and thirty seven was the
ticker price, and they came back at ninety one.
Speaker 14 (01:14:58):
That that's what oh Rob uses for doing satellites.
Speaker 4 (01:15:03):
Yes, is correct?
Speaker 14 (01:15:04):
An elk Man, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:15:06):
That is correct.
Speaker 9 (01:15:10):
Some more missing ballooney hyperflex thirteen mm hmm.
Speaker 14 (01:15:14):
So what is hyperflex thirteen? Is that like RG two thirteen?
Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
So the thirteen is usually uh millimeters the small stuff? Okay, No,
it's the larger stuff. So they've got sevent ten and
thirteen okay, so the thirteen is going to be the
larger stuff, and they've got five. I think they five
is kind of like lmar Win five or r G
fifty eight I think, okay, and sevens like RG eight mini,
(01:15:42):
and then ten is kind of like lmar four hundred. Roughly,
they're not exactly the same size, but their they're close
close ish.
Speaker 11 (01:15:49):
Yeah, Hey, guys, I got a bail. I got a
phone call at eight thirty.
Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
Enjoy buddy, all right, man, yeah, Jason, thanks were joining later.
Speaker 9 (01:16:02):
So if I put it in my cart now, can
I check out later for the same price or do
you have to do it before the time expires.
Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
You have to do it before the stream ends, so
you've got about forty five minutes, okay, And that's what
I was saying earlier before you joined. What everyone else
did last time when we did this two weeks ago.
Has everyone waited until five minutes before the stream ended
and they got hammered with like three hundred card checkouts
at one time and it destroyed the site. So yeah,
maybe maybe don't wait. Maybe you don't wait.
Speaker 8 (01:16:29):
Till the very last.
Speaker 9 (01:16:31):
Yeah, well, I have my credit card handy, so I
don't find anything else at least an.
Speaker 5 (01:16:43):
You don't have your credit card on file with them?
Speaker 14 (01:16:45):
No, you don't have your credit card them.
Speaker 9 (01:16:46):
It's dangerous. It's dangerous if I keep it on file
with them. Just click by.
Speaker 14 (01:16:52):
Now does that mean? Does that mean I have a
problem if I have my credit card numbers memorized?
Speaker 1 (01:17:00):
Nah, I used to have mine memorized.
Speaker 14 (01:17:02):
I just uh memorized.
Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
I used to have.
Speaker 9 (01:17:08):
The only thing you should have memorized is your social
Security number you drive, your license every here, and maybe
your concealing carry if you still have that.
Speaker 14 (01:17:17):
I live in a free state. We just are. Can
you breathe? You got any outstanding warrants you can carry?
Speaker 7 (01:17:24):
And you do too.
Speaker 9 (01:17:27):
But I'm still still.
Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
Mm hmmm, I'm still school.
Speaker 9 (01:17:32):
Oh I still have I don't want to take the streams.
Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
Oh I have I have a license. It's a hell
of a lot easier to purchase a firearm if you
have the less here and the recipricate and the reciprocating
between other states is more robust. So I will keep
my life.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
I will.
Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
I will always renew my license even though we have
constitutional carry here now, yeah.
Speaker 14 (01:17:50):
We we have the same it's the same thing. We've
got constitutional carry. But if you have a concealed permit,
they don't nick check you when you buy a a
right boom and reciprocity is the other thing, exactly correct.
Speaker 9 (01:18:06):
The chat making it to you.
Speaker 13 (01:18:08):
Are you on a five five year rotation on your permits, Jim?
Or is it a lifetime permit for the ones that
still have them?
Speaker 14 (01:18:16):
It's no. You can buy it in one, two, three,
four or five year increments. It's the same cost. So
Julie and I both just pay for five years and
don't worry about it till we get a postcard from
the shaff.
Speaker 13 (01:18:29):
The reason I asked there was an article just recently.
If you have a five year or less there's like
thirteen states now that will not require you to have
a next check. We have if you have a current
permit like I might in Indiana. Although we're constitutional carry now,
I have a lifetime permit, same thing, so I can
(01:18:50):
take it with me anywhere I go, and whoever has
reciprocity with Indiana if they're not a constitutional carry stake.
But I still have to go to the next background check.
Speaker 5 (01:18:59):
Because my was issued more than five years ago.
Speaker 14 (01:19:02):
No ours is if you have a current one, if
it's in date, you're golden.
Speaker 5 (01:19:09):
Yes, so you're within that five year period.
Speaker 13 (01:19:11):
If the five years is the max though, that's all
they'll let me renew it for.
Speaker 14 (01:19:15):
Yeah, it's five yeah, and it's it's twenty bucks a year. Nice,
and there was. It's so stupid because Alabama did constitutional
carry just like three four years ago. Maybe, but it's
constitutional carry is legal. Concealed carry legal without a permit
(01:19:36):
unless you're in a vehicle, and if you're if you're
concealed in a vehicle, you have to have a concealed
carrier permit. And there's some other.
Speaker 1 (01:19:43):
Oh that's dumb snipulation. Texas. Texas has a castle law.
Your your vehicle is part of your home, so you
don't you don't need anything to carry in your vehicle.
Even before constitutional carry, you didn't need anything to carry
in your vehicle.
Speaker 14 (01:19:54):
Yeah, so I think we've got some goofy thing. If
you if it's concealed in your vehicle, you have to
have a concealed permit otherwise.
Speaker 9 (01:20:02):
No, that's why we just met him on the back
window right.
Speaker 1 (01:20:05):
There, you go.
Speaker 14 (01:20:05):
I mean, I'm talking that dude. I grew up everybody.
I mean I lived in the north hell yeah, yeah,
up in Illinois. Yeah, and there was Illinois rednecks all
over the place with three or four guns in the
back of the pickup truck.
Speaker 9 (01:20:16):
Well, I grew up on a ranch, so we had
a twenty two and then a deer rifle. All right,
always state in the back window of the truck.
Speaker 14 (01:20:24):
Now, now, if you drive around three guns, get.
Speaker 9 (01:20:28):
Here one of the other.
Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
Right.
Speaker 14 (01:20:30):
Yeah, and now, if you drive around with a gun
in the back of your pickup truck in Illinois, you'll
probably get arrested and thrown in prison.
Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
Yeah, you know it.
Speaker 5 (01:20:37):
Well, Jim, you and.
Speaker 13 (01:20:39):
I are about the same age. Well, actually, I think
you're a little younger than I am.
Speaker 14 (01:20:42):
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (01:20:43):
I was saying that to be polite.
Speaker 14 (01:20:45):
I do look younger.
Speaker 7 (01:20:48):
Hey, let's do it.
Speaker 1 (01:20:49):
Let's let's do it. Giveaway real quick. We've got three
hundred and fifty six entries. So let's choose a winter
real quick. This will be for number six, Devin Goss.
Devin Goss is the next winter devn Hale.
Speaker 14 (01:21:09):
I just saw this screen. Somebody offered to fifty on
a power genius.
Speaker 1 (01:21:13):
I saw that. I'm like, come on, guys, get real.
Two hundred and fifty dollars for a power genius. Yeah,
come on, man, one just for that. Yeah, no doubt,
that would be my truck, my truck. I'll buy four
of them for that, and I'll give them all the
way on live stream and have two thousand people watching me.
Speaker 9 (01:21:31):
Yeah, there's some some black pla.
Speaker 1 (01:21:36):
I said, Yeah, I saw the black black pla. That's
a good price on it.
Speaker 14 (01:21:41):
Yeah, that's an excellent price for bamboo for bamboo pla.
Speaker 1 (01:21:45):
Yeah yeah, yeah bamboo.
Speaker 2 (01:21:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:21:48):
I like I got the green metallic. It's got that
metallic tent to it. Bamboo pla. I've been really that's
my favorite one that I have so far.
Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
Somebody asked what my discord was? Where did that go?
Who was that? Somebody else?
Speaker 2 (01:22:03):
Would?
Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
Oh, yeah, Kurt Hand Radio two dot com forward slash discord.
We'll get you the invite to discord.
Speaker 13 (01:22:15):
So Kyle had mentioned earlier about his uh the filament
that he would get the stuff at Microcenter. Yeah, that's
that's that's their house brand in one and I've had
great luck with it.
Speaker 5 (01:22:30):
I have a microcentery.
Speaker 13 (01:22:32):
I have a micro center around the corner from my office,
so we will go over there occasionally at lunch and
walk around.
Speaker 1 (01:22:39):
That's good to know there's a microcenter here. That's about
a half hour for me. It's over in Richardson. I
haven't been in there in years, but if they used to,
that used to be one of the only places you'd
get raspberry pie during COVID.
Speaker 14 (01:22:50):
Yep, or a crap top or yeah that's true.
Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 14 (01:22:59):
I started, I've started printing with PCTG from three D Fuel.
Speaker 1 (01:23:04):
I've heard good things about that. Love the PCTG. Also,
it's kind of like an upgraded pet G, isn't it exactly? Yeah?
Speaker 14 (01:23:11):
Yeah, it's a whole lot more heat resistant, chemical resistant,
higher tensile strength. I think that's bending is what that means?
I can't remember, okay, And it's it's a little more pricey.
It's about thirty dollars a roll for the off brand
China stuff on Amazon and it's about thirty five dollars
a roll from three D fuel. But it is boss
(01:23:34):
to print with love.
Speaker 1 (01:23:35):
Well that's about what the bamboo stuff costs it. Gigaparts
about thirty one ninety nine now they run sales on
it all the time. Yeah, but the bamboo, and I
think that most of them are. I think the PLA
might be a feud. It may be like twenty six
or twenty eight dollars for the PLA and like thirty
one for the pet G. I don't remember right now.
Speaker 14 (01:23:53):
Yeah, I can't. I don't remember. That would be an
important safety tip.
Speaker 1 (01:23:59):
Yeah, okay, here's some pet G carbon fiber twenty bucks
of black.
Speaker 14 (01:24:05):
That is an insane deal. If you have that can print.
Speaker 1 (01:24:09):
That I do. I just I just started in my
three D printing journey. Jim, you weren't here when I
was talking about it.
Speaker 5 (01:24:15):
So which which printer did you get?
Speaker 1 (01:24:18):
I got the H I got what was what was
at the time. I got the top of the line bamboo,
the X one echo and it does all of the things. However,
they when I was at gig Parts last week, they
have a new one now that's got a larger plate.
The H two D yes, the H two D and
all of all, they've got three or four models that
(01:24:39):
all kind of had the same plate. I think they
got a Mini with a little bit smaller plate, but
most of them had the same size plate. That H
two D has a plate that's like, I don't remember,
larger than the X one echo.
Speaker 14 (01:24:49):
So yeah, I have I have them. I have five printers.
Speaker 1 (01:24:54):
I can stop any time, I kid, right, yeah, yeah,
it's not a.
Speaker 14 (01:24:58):
Problem for everybody except missus Perry. Where the hell are
you gonna put that?
Speaker 5 (01:25:04):
Now?
Speaker 14 (01:25:04):
I need you to move your ship.
Speaker 5 (01:25:05):
Out of here, honey.
Speaker 1 (01:25:08):
That's right.
Speaker 14 (01:25:10):
Yeah. The the Mini is like one one and all
the rest of the bamboos except for the H two
D or two fifty six.
Speaker 9 (01:25:17):
D as a laser in it as well.
Speaker 14 (01:25:19):
No, you have to buy that extra. Yes, it has
a laser head so you can use the same box
to three D print and laser beam stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:25:29):
Lazer stuff.
Speaker 14 (01:25:32):
Like engraving, you.
Speaker 1 (01:25:33):
Know, yeah, laser engraving.
Speaker 14 (01:25:34):
Yeah, I don't know, tim, I don't have I don't
have one, so not yet at this time.
Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
I don't have one yet. That's fine talk.
Speaker 14 (01:25:46):
At this time.
Speaker 9 (01:25:47):
There's two nozzles, so you can print, you can print.
Speaker 1 (01:25:51):
Yeah, yeah, I just bought my X one Echo like
two months ago, so I wish I would have waited now,
but I'm really really happy with the one I got.
Speaker 14 (01:25:58):
So I love three D printing. I love three D printing.
I'm always looking for something to print.
Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
Right, Yes, yeah, I print.
Speaker 14 (01:26:09):
Shots kis instead them on my desk at work and
people come by, Oh, what's that? Can I have this? Yes,
I don't care, I'll make more.
Speaker 1 (01:26:17):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (01:26:19):
Duel extruders look at that.
Speaker 14 (01:26:22):
Yeah, that's it's kind of their answer to the Prussia XL,
which is like a thirty five hundred dollars beast I think.
And the bed on the XL is pretty large too.
I don't remember the size on it. But the XL
has like five tool heads, so you can have you know,
one of p L a pet G separate support material,
(01:26:45):
carbon fiber, glass, fiber or whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:26:48):
Oh my gosh, my my X one Echo is more
expensive than that nuke H two D. It must not
do as much stuff.
Speaker 14 (01:26:54):
I don't know what an X one echo will it immediately.
Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
It it will? Well, the X one Echo, Well, there's
that too. There's there's several X one models. The X
one Echo will do like the uh, it'll do the ASA,
it'll do the carbon fiber. It'll do two or three
of the filaments that the lower models won't do. I
can't remember what they are exactly, but it'll it'll take
(01:27:18):
more options for filaments than than the than the lower
models will do. There is an X one Charlie and
X one Delta. I think they're probably right here, just
X one x X one carbon. But yeah, the one
I got retails for twenty eight ninety nine. I did
not pay that for it. But the the H two
(01:27:39):
D retails for nineteen ninety nine.
Speaker 14 (01:27:43):
I think, yeah, but that's the H two D without
the laser.
Speaker 1 (01:27:47):
Oh, I'm yeah. You said that was extra, so I
assumed that's true. Yeah, and I.
Speaker 14 (01:27:50):
Don't know what the tour has done.
Speaker 9 (01:27:52):
I'm gonna have a laser shortly.
Speaker 14 (01:27:54):
So I'm looking at it. Twenty I miss them releasing this,
but mha, it's two fifty six also.
Speaker 4 (01:28:01):
On the bed.
Speaker 13 (01:28:03):
Yeah, uh no, well this is three fifty three twenty
five okay, okay, so it is a little bit bigger.
Speaker 14 (01:28:10):
Okay, yeah, because the X one C, the P one S,
P one P are all and the A one are
all two fifty six K.
Speaker 1 (01:28:17):
Yeah, okay. The the X one Echo also has a
cooling temperature control. It has a cooling chamber, so when
you print on it, it'll it'll come out. I've got
wine out here in the shack and it's hot in
Texas right now. So every time I printed, it'll say, okay,
cooling chamber and you'll hear this little air condistrier kick on.
It'll cool the chamber down and then it heats the
(01:28:38):
bed up before it starts to print everything. So it's
temperature controlled. It's enclosed and self leveling and all that,
like like most of the bamboos are. But it'll do
the the ones that are supposed to be vented, the
the like the ASA and a couple of those other ones.
It'll it'll do all that because it's it's it's internal controlled.
I got I haven't. I haven't done anything like that
(01:28:58):
on you.
Speaker 5 (01:28:59):
Where does it vent too? You have to run a
kid out the window.
Speaker 14 (01:29:01):
Or it's probably a carbon fiber filter, which is so typical.
Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
I think it's a filter. Yeah, I think it's a filter.
Speaker 14 (01:29:08):
Like I have a che D plus four which will
print all the things I haven't printed any of themause
I don't need to for anything.
Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
But yeah, yeah, but it has it has.
Speaker 14 (01:29:20):
A carbon fiber filter bag that comes with it, and
then somebody's made a print to sit in that spot
instead of that stupid bag. But yeah, it just runs
everything through a carbon fiber filter. If I was printing
ASA on a regular basis, I would vent it out
a window. Right, that's apparently it's supposed to.
Speaker 1 (01:29:39):
It can be toxic. What they say, Yeah, that's what
they say. Yeah, all right, somebody was doing a giveaway.
Somebody give me a keyword. I've got some. I've got
four more radios to give away.
Speaker 14 (01:29:53):
Bamboo.
Speaker 1 (01:29:54):
Bamboo, that's a good one. Are pretty b A MBU
does not matter case, but spelling counts. Yes, b A
M b U b A M b U, Bravo Alpha mic,
Bravo uniform M not bamboo like the wood, bamboo like
(01:30:17):
the printer. I don't know why they spell it that way.
Speaker 2 (01:30:22):
You got.
Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
Yeah, yeah, b A M b U.
Speaker 9 (01:30:28):
Holy Chad exploded Batman.
Speaker 14 (01:30:30):
Yeah yeah, But to be clear, we're not giving away
a bamboo.
Speaker 1 (01:30:35):
I don't think no down it's just everybody. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:30:44):
So do they make one of these with the laser
or is it just to add on, is that just.
Speaker 14 (01:30:48):
It's I think it's it's fitted for. They've got a head,
a separate laser head that you can put in there.
Speaker 2 (01:30:56):
Mm.
Speaker 14 (01:30:57):
But I don't I don't think. I don't know because
I don't have.
Speaker 2 (01:30:59):
One, and.
Speaker 1 (01:31:01):
I didn't know it had a laser. I just I
saw it loud. They had just gotten him in last
week and I saw it. They didn't even have it. Well, yeah,
they did have a display model out and when you
when you look at it, you're like, oh, wow, that
one's bigger. You can tell that the that the print,
that the that the print plate is bigger. So I'm like,
and but I didn't. I didn't go through the details
of it and compare all that all the features as
compared to the other ones. But I'm like, Okay, anybody
(01:31:22):
wants to print something bigger, that's the one you want
right there.
Speaker 14 (01:31:24):
Well, the cheating of the cheat, and I love it. It's
a great printer. It is three oh five.
Speaker 1 (01:31:30):
Okay, three oh five by.
Speaker 14 (01:31:33):
I don't know, I don't remember three hundred something okay,
but it's it's a fairly large bed. But all the
other ones I have or that standard ish yeh, fifty
six thing, which, honestly, unless you're printing helmets nerds, nerd alert,
(01:31:55):
not that where it's not nerdy enough that we three
D print.
Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
But you know, right, yeah, we're not the ultra nerds. Yeah,
printing helmets.
Speaker 14 (01:32:02):
That's funny. What meaning know the cosplay crowd loves three.
Speaker 2 (01:32:05):
Yeah, no, no, no, yeah, they print more than the helmets.
They'll print out like the whole oh yeah fit.
Speaker 14 (01:32:11):
I have a legitimate Star Wars Stormtrooper armored that I
three D printed myself.
Speaker 1 (01:32:17):
There's a there's a there's an outfit armor that somebody
three D printed across like three different bamboo printers standing
at the front entry way of Gigabarts. I think it's
I want to say, it's gosh, you guys can tell me.
Speaker 2 (01:32:29):
What it is.
Speaker 1 (01:32:30):
Hold On, I got a picture of it. I'll pull
it up. It's like it's not Metal Wars, or it's
one of those games like that. I can't remember which one.
I've never been a big gear solid metal. It might
be metal gear. Hold on, let me pull it up.
You'll probably be able to tell me exactly what it is.
Because some of your bigger nerds than I am. I'm
just not a big gamer, so I'm not show you a.
Speaker 14 (01:32:52):
Game a little bit. But I don't think anyone counts
playing baseball in the Xbox game.
Speaker 1 (01:32:57):
I'm probably not. Yeah, it is here, it is right here,
so whatever, this is right here, whatever that is. But
somebody three D printed that whole thing.
Speaker 14 (01:33:13):
I ain't seen it yet.
Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
Yeah, it's on the well, if you're watching YouTube, it's delayed.
But if it's on the zoom, Oh, that's Halo. Halo maybe, Yeah, that's.
Speaker 14 (01:33:27):
A Halo ish helmet. I don't know that.
Speaker 1 (01:33:29):
The colors or maybe Halo. Somebody said Warhammer. Yeah, Halo,
that's that's the That's the one I was trying to
think of. Was Halo. But but that regardless, Man, that
thing is freaking there's a mannequin inside of it, but
other but everything on the outside is three D printed.
It's freaking awesome.
Speaker 14 (01:33:46):
It's beautiful.
Speaker 1 (01:33:47):
That's a lot of time, man, he's got there's a
sign in the front of Where is the sign in
the front of it. There's another picture of it there.
There's a sign in the front of it that says
it took this long to print.
Speaker 12 (01:33:57):

of them.
Speaker 1 (01:34:56):
But well, it's at the Giga part story. He took
it up there and he left it. It looks I
think he comes back to get it at every now
and then, but you know he.
Speaker 5 (01:35:04):
Takes it home for the weekend. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:35:07):
I think he takes it to events. I think he
takes it to events like Cosplay. Ever, would you know
Comic Con or who knows?
Speaker 2 (01:35:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:35:14):
Oh boy, pl A basic orange. Okay, good.
Speaker 14 (01:35:20):

I agree if it was pet G orange, I've got
enough p l A.
Speaker 14 (01:35:32):

Speaker 15 (01:36:47):
What's the difference that in A one twenty one is
motorized on the other one is not.
Speaker 5 (01:36:53):
The other one's manually? Yeah, oh really, how do you

I've got one of those on the shop and it's
I think it's like two hundred watts and it will
kind of sort of work on chef as well. But actually, well,
you know, it's obviously not the best, but you can
transmit it, and it's my point.
Speaker 5 (01:37:33):
Yeah, you can transmit into anything Jim.
Speaker 14 (01:37:36):
Well, right, at least once at least once.

I'll use your pile son Brave Brave that like Brave,
Brave is Chrome. It works well.
Speaker 1 (02:04:10):
We started Brave.
Speaker 14 (02:04:12):
We started using Brave because stream Yard was pukin with
Chrome and it wouldn't let you switch cameras or anything else.
It would.
Speaker 9 (02:04:20):
It works great with me on Chrome.
Speaker 14 (02:04:24):
It was working great for me for a long time,
and then all of a sudden it wouldn't let you
change cameras. It would pick a camera and that's the
one you're going to use whether you like it or not.
Speaker 2 (02:04:31):
I put it in the chat there, Jason.
Speaker 1 (02:04:33):
You probably need to You probably need to clear like
all of your cat. Chrome is so heavy. It's just
if you ever looked at task Manager. Oh my god.
Speaker 14 (02:04:40):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 1 (02:04:41):
It's it's awesome, but I are awful. It's awful.
Speaker 14 (02:04:45):
Teo got me turned on the Brave. I used it
several years ago for a little while and it.
Speaker 1 (02:04:49):
Was like, Okay, can you synk it to Google?
Speaker 14 (02:04:51):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (02:04:52):
Can you? You can log in with your Google account
and all your bookmarks and everything, so okay, yep.
Speaker 8 (02:04:56):
Yeah, I don't know what you guys are talking about.
I used that escape right.
Speaker 5 (02:05:00):
I'm a mos mosaic exactly.
Speaker 1 (02:05:04):
I tried to go back to Firefox and it just
it's like all of my crap is in Chrome, and
I'm like, gosh, I just it was just brutal trying
to start over again. I like fire Firefox is great.
I really like Firefox.
Speaker 19 (02:05:15):
But I wrote, all, yeah, I logged in with uh Safari,
and now I got the entire cart there.
Speaker 1 (02:05:27):
You better cash out, you better do it quick doing it.
Speaker 14 (02:05:31):
You've got some security.
Speaker 12 (02:05:39):
Lying yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:05:48):

Speaker 8 (02:05:51):

the wise crafts are just like, yeah, I route all
my traffic geo cities.
Speaker 1 (02:06:00):
Yuh got a geo city z IP address.
Speaker 14 (02:06:03):
I think the only problem with sun low filament f yi,
and it could be different now, but their roles will
not fit. They won't fit in the AMS light because
the center is different. You have to print an adapter.
Oh and I don't know how well they will work
in the regular a MS that you would have, so
I'm not sure about it.
Speaker 1 (02:06:24):
Yeah, okay, okay.
Speaker 20 (02:06:27):
Blocker, it's like you might want to back them security
settings out from the Russians are out to get me
to you know, I'm a normal.
Speaker 1 (02:06:37):
Okay, I gotta try a lot of people are talking
up Brave, including Digital Rancher in the chat, so I'm
going to try Brave. I guess it's chrome. It's basically
chrome chromium, like the like the Linux chromium. Okay, all right, yep.
Speaker 8 (02:06:50):
I just I don't understand.
Speaker 1 (02:06:52):
Edge edges based on chromeum. So we should all just
use Edge.
Speaker 14 (02:06:55):
Oh my god. No, friends don't let friends use it.
Speaker 9 (02:06:59):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (02:07:00):
I'm I'm serious when I say this. I don't I've
never used Edge. I don't know, but quite possibly the
worst piece of software ever written in the history of
mankind was Internet Explorer. It was totally trash and garbage,
totally sucked. I just, I just I was like, I
don't care what if you tell me Edges Chromium. You
are responsible for Internet Explorer and probably a million and
(02:07:20):
a half viruses per year for every time it ran.
So no, thank you, not not going to do it.
Speaker 14 (02:07:25):
That was the ActiveX scam that they had.
Speaker 9 (02:07:29):
Shame that I got as Yeah, totally yeah twice insurance.
Speaker 14 (02:07:41):
Yeah, take Careyboddy.
Speaker 1 (02:07:49):
Yeah, we're gonna wind this down here in a minute.
So yeah, I'm done. Yeah I am too.
Speaker 8 (02:07:54):
That's ice cream time.
Speaker 1 (02:07:56):
Uh oh that sounds good. But okay, so uh okay,
So Julio dropped or no, no he didn't. He's still there.
He's just got his camera turned off. Okay, all right, good. Yeah,
we'll go ahead and wind it down. I think we
got another I think there's another seven minutes roughly for
(02:08:18):
you guys to check.
Speaker 12 (02:08:19):
Out and.
Speaker 1 (02:08:23):
Get that going. There's something in the chat hold on.
Speaker 5 (02:08:26):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 14 (02:08:27):
If Jeff dropped a link to Brave I'm there. Oh okay, yeah,
I recommend it. It's been working perfectly stream Yard and
everything else.
Speaker 1 (02:08:35):
So good, okay, good to know, Good to know. That's
I don't use stream Yard, but I if I can
have a Chromium based browser that's yep, not as heavy
and CPU intensive as Chromed, then that's that's good.
Speaker 14 (02:08:48):
It's also real if this is the thing for you,
it's also real privacy focused.
Speaker 1 (02:08:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (02:08:54):
And it uses Chrome extensions just like Chrome. You go
the Chrome web Store, get a Chrome extension in there.
Speaker 1 (02:09:00):
Okay, good, that was the other thing that that Firefox
didn't have.
Speaker 14 (02:09:03):
So it'll also import book marks from every browser on
the planet.
Speaker 1 (02:09:08):
Okay, all right, I think they.
Speaker 14 (02:09:10):
Kind of all do now.
Speaker 1 (02:09:11):
But yeah, yeah, I think that's kind of common now.
But that's cool. Okay.
Speaker 5 (02:09:16):
And it has pretty pictures you it depends on which
when you open up, well, no, when you open up.
Speaker 13 (02:09:25):
Only in Alabama, only in Alabama only.
Speaker 14 (02:09:28):
Well, you don't like those kind of pictures that we're
in the navy.
Speaker 8 (02:09:36):
Yeah, my browsers just automatically goose to those pretty pictures.
Speaker 1 (02:09:44):
Oh boy, all right, before we get to demonetized, I
think we're gonna shut this down.
Speaker 14 (02:09:48):
I think we're getting close.
Speaker 5 (02:09:51):
You have an eighteen year older to get those sites
from click the box and show ID. No, you have

As an IT security professional.
Speaker 1 (02:10:10):

think it worked pretty well. So I'd like to see
what the numbers are after you guys got to get
them all counted up. So all right, seventy three guys,
We will talk soon. Everyone, have a good Field Day weekend.
(02:10:46):
