I think most of this most of the way that
I go as interstate, so I should be fine most
of the way. I kept losing internet last month when
I was driving through Colorado because Colorado does not like

seem like an odd question. But which cell phone carrier
do you use? I can bring a UHF for Peter

(07:05):
from Monesesando so you can stream really really a C
and T a C and T to answer your question.
So that'd be fun. If it works, that's gonna be cool.
I hope it works, So bring it up there and

Ladies, fellas and ladies?

Speaker 5 (07:48):
Yeah, ladies in the house.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
This is a this is a record for ham radio.

Speaker 7 (07:56):
Chat.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Now, Freddie, Max's been on the stream A budge.

Speaker 8 (08:02):
And occupied nor.

Speaker 9 (08:07):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
I knew you could take it, Freddy. That's why I
pick on you.

Speaker 10 (08:11):
You need to fix that, Freddy. Get get in the
right part of Texas.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
If you would get fall a little bit quicker.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
Than I do here.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Yeah, I don't believe.

Speaker 11 (08:20):
Yeah, forty three days until fall, by the way, so that.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Means that means probably sixty three days in Texas, probably.

Speaker 8 (08:31):
Two weeks the winter you get.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Oh my goodness. So so what brings everyone together tonight?
What what's going on? Is something happening next week that I.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Don't know about?

Speaker 8 (08:39):
Or what's what's the about about a mountain?

Speaker 10 (08:44):
We decided to hike up a mountain?

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Are you going to hide?

Speaker 10 (08:48):
We decided to drive up a mountain.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
That sounds that sounds better. Yeah, decided to drive up
a mountain. Okay, good deal. I got the resizing zoom
screen going on here. Let me make sure I got
that correct.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
Nope, I'm just going for the planet Areum planet on
top of the I want to I want to move.
I want to go see that this year. Maybe I'll
go on Tuesday before everybody gets there.

Speaker 7 (09:14):
I'll look into it because I think the planetarium is
really only open one like a Saturday, and it's not
every weekend.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
So yes, you mean I'm gonna have to look up
at the actual stars.

Speaker 12 (09:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Maybe, Like good luck seeing him through all those thirty
foot tall trees on top of the mountains blocked my
starlink signal.

Speaker 13 (09:36):
Mike, you can break into it like that one guy
did last year.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Oh yeah, God, oh goodness.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
Wasn't uh Lou from hiking and Hammond was? He put
out a video a few days ago. I guess him
and Pink already there and he was testing starlink and
like kind of like out in the road.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Yeah, pretty much.

Speaker 6 (09:59):
He kind of like one hundred and eighty six up
and like a few down something or the other way
or out.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Whatever, out of what road out like standing for the.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
Right by the bathroom the access road.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
He was standing in the road. Then, Okay, I.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
Don't know if he was he actually had it in
the road, but.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
No, he had it in one of the spots. And
he also had it over by the pavilion that we'll
be out on Friday.

Speaker 6 (10:21):
Yeah, I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
It did pretty well.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
It should work at the pavilion because there's less tree
cut roof there.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
But yeah, yeah, Rob, I'll stand on your shoulders and
then I'll get access to the roof.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
That'd be a sight you two.

Speaker 11 (10:39):
Yeah, you driving.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
I'll be there tomorrow. I'm hoping to get I'm hoping
to pull in by about.

Speaker 11 (10:47):
Four, so you're pulling out early in the morning.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
Yeah, my pullout game was strong.

Speaker 11 (10:53):
I just wanted to know when to start sending APRS messages.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
So all right, so I'll be beginning a PRS because
I'm leaving tomorrow and I will also be I got
thanks to Steve n Adar, the guy who develops the
Sherry All Star thing. He and I were zooming yesterday
and he and I got my phone to tether to
my hot spot and it works. I'll be connected to

(11:23):
Jason's All Star.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Yea thing.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
That should be a that should be a video, Mike,
because that is a challenge for many people.

Speaker 6 (11:30):
Yeah, that ain't gonna be a video that I'm gonna do.
I have no idea, no clue. Like we did some
of the things that Freddy did in his video, but
because I have two hot spots, I needed to get
another a new NOE number. We did this a couple
of weeks ago. Steve's Steve and I were in the
club in Michigan, so we've known each other. So I

(11:50):
had to change the port on this one, and then
we had to go in and do some things to
make it not HT or not AI x h T
t P or something. Probably went from hd TP to
I A X sure yeh sure, I like explain.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
This would make This would make as much sense from
Mike if he were speaking Mandarin Chinese right now exactly.
I'm telling you, I'm trying to upgrade your ham radio game, buddy.
If you did a video about that, it would be outstanding,
It really would.

Speaker 6 (12:23):
It would be horrible. I connected my computer to my
phone so I could get into the because I could
get into the node thing, and then he was just
telling me what to type, and I was sharing my
screen on zoom and.

Speaker 8 (12:39):
And that's a good guy right there.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yeah, yeah it is. So you got it? So it's working, Yeah, good,
I will. Okay, Then that means I'm going to be
at home packing my trailer most of the most of
the day tomorrow, so I'll make sure it's connected. Here's
here's the thing that that here's the reason I'm not
connected a lot of the time. Right now, I don't
I have my home node running, which I need to

(13:03):
do that, that's that's on me. But my mobile node
that runs in the truck twenty four to seven, there's
a Verizon dead spot in my driveway, so as soon
as I pull into the driveway at home, it disconnects.
I just connected all over town, no problem. I pull
into the driveway, boom it drops. So yeah, that's why
I'm not on at home a lot of the times.
But and I need to remedy that by putting my

(13:24):
two twenty node back on the air. And I've actually
got another node, that new Sherry five to two node
that's in there. Then I need to build as well.
Just I've been kind of busy.

Speaker 6 (13:32):
Oh is you is your node not on right now?

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Right?

Speaker 1 (13:35):
This very moment, it is not well if you're going
to get no, okay. So the four to three one
three six node runs in the cloud twenty four to seven.
I'm not talking about that one. Yeah, that one's always
on no matter what it runs in the cloud. I'm
talking about my mobile node where I connect from the
mobile from the truck to my own cloud server. So
my mobile node's not online right now.

Speaker 6 (13:55):
So I will be connected to four to three.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
That's where you need to be. Yep, that is where.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
And everyone else is welcome to connect to it too. Yeah,
I'm inviting you all for Jason.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
So those of you without all Star need to get
on all Star and don't link up to the parent node.
I had to kick you the other day, Freddy, because
somebody is running a net from some reflector on your node.

Speaker 9 (14:19):
What the heck?

Speaker 5 (14:19):
What?

Speaker 3 (14:20):
What time?

Speaker 9 (14:21):
What time of day was it?

Speaker 4 (14:22):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Maybe like noon one o'clock on Saturday? No, when it
was on Friday? It was on Friday, and I just
I was driving around connected because I was in town
and was not at home, and then I just hear
these guys start talking, and as soon as one of
monkeys it says node connected to and I'm like, I

(14:43):
look down and it's coming from KD five FMU, and
I'm like, what the heck? Can I click on the
I click on the bubble chart and it goes in normal.
Somebody click? Yeah, get you that to me all the time?
Do that to me all the time. That really bugs
me when.

Speaker 10 (14:56):
They and you said like a script or something to
just boot them when they do that.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Well, yeah, and I can permit kick him and and
that kind of thing, but I don't want to permit cake.

Speaker 10 (15:06):
I'm not permac.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Cake.

Speaker 10 (15:07):
Just disconnect their node. If you see, if it connects
to a node that balloon's out for another or d
then you're like.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Nope, I'm not I'm not aware of a way to
kick a node that's connected to too many nodes at
one time.

Speaker 10 (15:18):
Okay, that that was.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
There's a video coming up soon that will help you.

Speaker 5 (15:23):
It's already stage dude.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Okay, Well there we go. All right, So I want
to talk about a couple of specific things. First of all,
I want to know what time how many people are
getting there on Tuesday.

Speaker 9 (15:39):
Jason, I sent you that link.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Okay, well yeah I didn't. I didn't look at your
link yet. To you, but I'll pull it up. I
saw a c k raise his hand. Uh, Dave raise
his hand. I know that h Hambrado duo. You guys
lived like ten minutes away. Of course you'll be here
on Tuesday.

Speaker 11 (15:55):
We're taking the camper up tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Okay, Okay, you got the same spot as last yere.

Speaker 7 (16:01):
Just behind it.

Speaker 10 (16:01):
We have Joe Bread Oh is that right?

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (16:05):
We kicked them out, Mike, right there next to the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Yeah, you know I can't keep those two apart if
you tell him where she's sleeping.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Right, it's on Hey, Steve, it's on video. I got
it recorded. We've got evidence now, right, Okay, I.

Speaker 6 (16:24):
Have a perfect spot all the way in the back
corner of the primitive campground Renee. So we'll be we'll
be just fine.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Just take that crap to another to another live stream.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Anyway.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
So afew of your getting there tomorrow, I'll be there.
I'm sorry, not tomorrow, Tuesday. I know a few of
you would be there tomorrow as well, So I'll be
rolling in. I'm gonna try my darndest to get up
early and hit the road before five a m. Which
will put me in probably like between five and six
pm something like that, So fingers crossed. I uh, I'll

(17:01):
be able to be there at a halfway decent hour
before the sun goes down. So we'll do uh, we'll
do a c K. Are you in the same spot
you've been for the last couple of years?

Speaker 11 (17:11):
Yeah? Sight fifty four?

Speaker 1 (17:13):
I believe fifty four? Okay, all right? Mine is yeah,
mine's forty nine alpha. So that's that's where I'm going.
But I don't know what That's a little bit better.

Speaker 10 (17:27):
Freaking honky with me today. I don't know, man, I
do the New York things.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Mike started talking and I'm sorry, Jason started talking, and
then Mike popped up, and I'm like, that's not right.

Speaker 10 (17:38):
I know something's weird with it today.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Yeah, I am.

Speaker 10 (17:46):
I'm so looking forward to Huntsville. I'm so looking forward
to cooking and hanging out with everyone on Friday. Robert.
I saw Robert in here somewhere. He's not on my
scream right now, but we're flying out uh Wednesday night.

Speaker 9 (17:59):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 10 (18:00):
Can't wait to get there.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Yeah for sure. No no PoTA breaks on the way down.
I just want to get there. Yeah, maybe do a
Poto break on the way back on the drive home,
Adam K six no, yeah, no, no, straight through Adam
K six a rks in the chat, not gonna be
he says, have fun out there, y'all. I assume that
he's not gonna be there, so we'll miss you, Adam,
no joke. Uh, try to put it on your calendar

(18:27):
for next year, buddy.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
And I know I know that, I know Vern has
some stuff to talk about. I know Kyle has some
stuff to talk about. But if anyone else has this
specific Oh and Dave also, and Dave, I'm gonna kind
of let you and I think you and Rob have
collaborated on a little bit of stuff. So let's go
to let's let's pull up Uh, let's pull up Vern
first because he's Scott. Because as you guys know, I've said,

(18:53):
I've said this. Uh yeah, yeah, Adam says he sent
me a discord relevant to Huntsville. Okay, I'll look that
up so as you guys know it all right, So
Adam sent me a video of Tank in the in
the spinny top thing at the at the Rocket Center. Couple.
We'll play that.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
We'll play that in a minute.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
We'll play that. By the way, so so vern has
rented the pavilion for us yet again this year. Thank
you and both that, Vernon, Vernon Renee, Yes, I'm sorry,
Vernon Renee official days on that and yeah, well let's
talk about the official days and also your day passes.
I mentioned that in my email blast earlier, but I
want to make sure that we're both on the same

(19:37):
page with that as well.

Speaker 14 (19:37):
So sure, so on Friday the fifteenth, I guess we
rented it starting when the park opens that day. It
includes eighty day.

Speaker 12 (19:48):
Passes and those are the people who are not they're
at the they're the camp.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
You can't get to anyway.

Speaker 12 (19:57):
And then so the U we get to stay later
than the normal shutdown the normal at sundown, but they
can go to the uh the guard shack and just
tell them that they're there for the event. Unfortunately, the
contract had to be in my name, so wherever the
worker bee is that the guard chack may not know

(20:20):
that it's the radio event. You we got to kind
of you gotta work with that person there a little bit,
and so you might just have to give them my name.
Just I've told him I wanted it to be listed
that way, but they actually made a sign of contract
this year because Zach is new there, and before it
was just you know, I can't do her name. I've
dropped my off the top of my head here. It

(20:41):
was there the year before, several years before. She was
always just real sweet, huh.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Wasn't yeah, Emma, yeah, am, And she just.

Speaker 12 (20:49):
Kind of it was just kind of a handshake sort
of deal. And but so anyhow, yeah, and we have
the officially, we have in the contract, we have until
ten pm. We've sometimes we've you know, Tyree has always
let us go a little later, you know, Julian, he's
always let us school later if we wanted to. That's on, right.
We have it until Sunday morning. You know, we we've

(21:13):
got to be sure that it's cleaned out Sunday by
ten am every night. I need a volunteer because I'm
normally there and we normally have this handled. Right, we
make it our Jason stands up makes an announcement. We
are required contractually this year to empty the trash bins
because of what happened with the the the cartoons a

(21:34):
couple of years ago, and so we are contractually obligated
to to to do that. And I have a deposit
that's at stake for that, and so we need to
make sure that we have some big trash bags and
they just want to take him up by the General
the park store up there they have the big dumpsters,
the roll off dumpsters, and just put them in there

(21:55):
at night. And then that was the That was it. Really.
They want to us to be sure to close the
restroom doors in the back. They mentioned that in the contract.
Oh the building.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Yes, yeah, I know what you're talking about.

Speaker 12 (22:07):
You just gotta shut them to make sure that, you know,
the varmits don't get in there, that sort of thing.
And we've always been really good. Our group has been
wonderful about it. It was just that one event that
we didn't know that the raccoons thing right, and yeah,
we had everything was piled in the trash, right.

Speaker 10 (22:24):
They just came and opened the trash and pulled it
out right.

Speaker 12 (22:27):
Because we didn't know to put the little bungies on there. So, yeah,
they actually wrote the contract for this year, for this
calendar year that our group is responsible to do that
in exchange for our extended hours.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Okay, okay, we'll take care of that.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
I just put on my list to bring to the contractor.
Trash bags are something else.

Speaker 6 (22:47):
I convinced they could bunge stuff.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (22:52):
They got the kids out in.

Speaker 15 (22:54):
Front of the cabins and when you're the cabin and
then one year burned, let me take the rest of
this day in his cabin.

Speaker 6 (23:02):
Thank you, sir.

Speaker 12 (23:02):
It is awesome.

Speaker 13 (23:04):
But I came out to my truck.

Speaker 12 (23:09):
I came out to my truck.

Speaker 6 (23:10):
And there's this raccoon just popped off.

Speaker 15 (23:13):
He's got his backlines gripped around the side and he
just popped out, and he goes, what's dude.

Speaker 13 (23:19):
Something.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
You want some of this action?

Speaker 4 (23:22):
Yeah? Right.

Speaker 15 (23:23):
He's like totally non plus by my presence, He's like, hey.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
You so, So to confirm one thing is that one
thing Vern touched on was that he's got eighty day passes.
But if you're camping at Monta Sano, you do not
need a day pass. That that that yeah, do not
use it. If you've got a camp side of cabin,
primitive camping, RV spot doesn't matter. You've already got access

(23:47):
to the site. So the day passes are for people
who are just coming up there for the day for
our POTO event and then leaving and going to stay
elsewhere that night. So and that should be that should
be more than enough to also would think.

Speaker 16 (24:00):
Good for if you're a veteran or active duty military,
you can actually get into the park for free. So
if you're a veteran our active duty military, don't use
one of Burne's passes, get in for free that way.

Speaker 11 (24:12):
God bless the Alabama park system.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Good to know.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Good to know that too. Yeah, okay, so.

Speaker 12 (24:17):
Those passes are good for Friday and Saturday, and then,
like I said, just tell them at the at the
guard check. But Dave, that's a great point. Thank you
for reminding me. I had forgotten that's a thing. And
so yeah, that's that's pretty much our spiel. And then
of course Steve Oto has the schedule, and I know
Kyle has stuff about the cooking and that whole event,

(24:38):
but we're just kind of about the logistics of the
park and the pavilion.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
And all that, right, right, Yeah, we're gonna go to
Kyle next, and then I'm gonna let Steve talk as well.

Speaker 12 (24:47):
Renee's got some breakfast details as well.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Okay, yeah, what's that about.

Speaker 17 (24:52):
Not a lot of detail except that we're having breakfast
tacos at fifty one A on Friday morning, and and
uh a c k's y L is helping me.

Speaker 10 (25:04):
And we're gonna just tacos and thank you.

Speaker 9 (25:08):
Very much, big, thank you.

Speaker 10 (25:10):
What a welcome.

Speaker 17 (25:12):
It depends on what time, AFL.

Speaker 14 (25:14):
We'll let us start making a racket.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
We'll wake him up. I get I get up. Don't
worry about it.

Speaker 12 (25:22):
I see Tom and there Tom. My last name is
six s I X, just like the number. M hm oh.
I see Steve Elzer.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Now I got you.

Speaker 13 (25:31):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 7 (25:35):
Rene, let me know if you need any help with
anything else because we're local. You know, if you need
us to pick up something, you know, we might be
back and forth from the house, so we need to
grab stuff on the way or anything else we need.

Speaker 17 (25:47):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 14 (25:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 12 (25:48):
Yeah, me as well.

Speaker 16 (25:50):
I'll be We have an airbnb, so I'll be traveling
to and from the park every day. So if you
guys need stuff on the way in thank you.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
Cool. Good.

Speaker 12 (26:00):
Okay, you have got to keep Mikey separated from her.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
I'm not I'm washing my hands of that whole thing.
I'm not responsible for that at all. But I'm see
Kyle's gonna tell us about the cookout. Hey, Hey, hey,
Kyle's here.

Speaker 13 (26:22):
Am I live here?

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Your live? What's all rights?

Speaker 13 (26:26):
Hey, We're going to cook for lunch on Friday at
the pavilion. Thanks to Vern and Renee for renting that.
But we're going to get there early on Friday and
have kind of a cookout pop pop luck type of
lunch served at eleven thirty. There was a question how

(26:47):
many people are we cooking for? Last year we had sixty.
We cooked sixty burgers and sixty francs, and we're getting
eighty this year, so we're cooking for eighty.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
I think we had more than sixty people.

Speaker 13 (26:59):
We might have I don't know, but we had. Yeah,
we cooked sixty burgers and literally the last person went
through and grabbed the last burger and he was the
last one in line. So going to cook for eighty.
Donations are welcome. You don't have to donate. It's on
the QR code is on the screen, I see and

(27:20):
I've got it scanned here. So the donations are for
two things. The first thing is to pay for the cookout.
It's a it's probably going to be three hundred or
four hundred dollars now with the cost of groceries to
get the cookout started and you know, get all the
stuff on supplies and whatnot, but also everything that we

(27:43):
don't everything above and beyond. For the donations are going
to go to the a RRL Teachers Institute. If you
don't know anything about that. Steve good Game, our friend
from the RL, runs that and he basically teaches teachers
to put hand radio into the classroom for STEM. Last year,

(28:05):
I wrote a check to the ARL for twenty four dollars.
Hopefully this year we're going to surpass three thousand. That
is the goal. But I understand with the higher price
of groceries and everything else that's you know, going on
in the world. You know, donations are welcome, you don't
have to donate, but hopefully we can surpass the three

(28:26):
thousand dollar threshold this year.

Speaker 10 (28:29):
So and what else is going to be cooking up there?

Speaker 6 (28:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 13 (28:32):
So Jesus Christ, I had to get the.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Plug a very very gastro intestinal issues. Yeah, so I
backed up toilets sewage problems. That kind of thing is
going to be cooking up there quite a bit.

Speaker 13 (28:50):
Let me get some some other stuff here, Frank, before.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Go ahead, Kyle, it's all you buddy.

Speaker 12 (28:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (28:57):
So the things that we need for the cookout out
this year are ice and coolers. We're gonna supply all
of the water for the event. So if you've got
ice and cool and a cooler, can you fill it
full of ice and bring it up to the mountain.
That would help greatly. We also need some crockpots. I

(29:18):
know Renee said you were gonna bring a turkey roaster
for the hot dogs, and that's great. I think we
need a couple more crockpots to put like beans and
some other things in. I've got sauer kraut, I've got
chili for the chili or for the dogs. Oh, by
the way, we're gonna do hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs,
and we're gonna do all the fixings. So that's what's

(29:40):
gonna be on the menu. And then also side dishes.
So if you guys, you know, have a side dish
that you can put in a crockpot and it feeds
a lot of people, come in and bring it. We're
more than welcome. You're more than welcome to bring side dishes.
Also dessert, and then also you know your favorite drink.

(30:02):
Also a chair. There's not a lot chairs. Yeah, after
we get done, uh, you know, taking table space and
and picnic table space for all the stuff. We use
about two picnic tables, so that eats up a lot
of space. So if you want to, you know, bring
your own chair, that's more than welcome.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
If you can bring some folding tables too, that would
be great.

Speaker 13 (30:24):
Yeah, that'd be great.

Speaker 9 (30:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
I got a couple of folding take with your call
sign or whatever on the bottom.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
To kind of build on that. The chances of rain
are like forty forty to sixty percent throughout the weekend. Now,
I watched my video from two years ago and apparently
it was the same chances of rain during that time,
and I don't think it rained at all. I think
it might have rained one night so Huntsville. Yeah, yeah,

(30:50):
it r so last year. Yeah, I think that was
two years ago. Two years two years rained last year
on Friday last.

Speaker 9 (30:57):
Year too, out.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Yeah, it brings around.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
I got there.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Starting Okay, well, then don't come this time, Freddy. So
I'm so so I am bringing. I am bringing an
easy up to put at my camp site because we're
going to be hanging out there on Thursday night and
on Saturday night. Uh, but if and I might, I
might take it down and bring it to pavilion on Friday.
But if anyone is driving and can bring a ten

(31:23):
by ten easy up, I think this would be a
good opportunity to throw something like that in the vehicle.
So if you're flying, don't worry about it. Obviously you
don't don't be packing a bunch of crap like that.
But if you are able to to throw that in
your vehicle and bring it up there, that would be
we will probably use it.

Speaker 3 (31:38):
So I'll pick one.

Speaker 17 (31:41):
I can bring one.

Speaker 18 (31:43):
Thank you for you go to check your your DX
engineering one.

Speaker 8 (31:48):
I'm not checking that.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
No, I'm not not checking that.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
No, no, no, So boy, all right, go ahead, Kyle.

Speaker 13 (31:55):
All right, few more things that I want to get
through here. So I also want to public to thank
Noel and Emily for they're gonna be helping us cook.
And I believe Renee, Renee, are you gonna help us
cook too? Or are you gonna you're gonna stand back?
I'm probably going to gotcha.

Speaker 18 (32:16):
Okay, Renee says she's gonna supervise, all right, gotcha.

Speaker 13 (32:22):
So Noel has cooked and Emily has cooked in years past,
so I want to thank them publicly, well thank them
at the at the event too, So that's gonna be great.
So now I think that is all that I had.
Does anybody have anything else before we throw it to Frank?
I do, yeah, might go.

Speaker 6 (32:45):
So I have a whole bunch of stuff that I
will be giving away. I don't know how I'm gonna
do it, but I think I'm I feel we talked
about this at some point and somebody had like raffle tickets.
But I'm just gonna I'm just going to bring a
notebook and you can just write your call signed down
and your name and we'll throw it in a hat.

(33:06):
And So I've got i think eight either seven or
eight one hundred empower lithium iron phosphate batteries. I'm given away.
One of them is claimed. I'm given one to uh
James k E A pz In. I've got four high
quality Chinese hts. I think six power film solar panels.

(33:30):
I have a power film lightsaber max. I have some
tiny little it's it's kind of just a gimmicky thing,
a little power film, just battery bank to charge your
cell phone, just a little lay.

Speaker 12 (33:45):
What have you given me lately.

Speaker 6 (33:50):
Hey, if your name is drawn, well, you're not going
to be there. I've got I've got some icon shirts
like those those to whatever crew shirts maybe something else
I can't remember, but so that I'll be giving those
away Friday at the pavilion.

Speaker 13 (34:11):
You gotta be there.

Speaker 6 (34:12):
You got to be there to win. No purchase necessary.
I'm just giving stuff away. It's not a it's not
a contest, I'm not I don't care about laws.

Speaker 10 (34:20):
Right, So there's no money, You're good, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:25):
Other than the extra gas that it takes to uh
load my car down with all that stuff, but I
will be writing that off next year for taxes.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
You know anything else about cooking, Kyle.

Speaker 13 (34:38):
I don't think so. You know we're gonna Steve. I
want to thank Steve. I keep freeting to thank Steve.
He is going to bring his Blackstone, So thanks Steve
for bringing that. And yeah, I mean it's a cookout.
You know, we're gonna be there to socialize and have
a good time and eat and it's a thank you

(34:59):
for from the YouTubers for all of the things that
you guys do for us out in uh in stream Land.
But also it's to raise money for the Teachers Institute,
which is a good cause.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
So yeah, we have a cash jar there too as well.

Speaker 13 (35:15):
Yeah, we're gonna have you can give me cash. Cash
is king, and then I've got the Vemo account and
PayPal here Jason did flash it up on his screen.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
Two.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yeah, that's right, it's right here, So you guys can
scan that PayPal and Venmo QR codes.

Speaker 13 (35:30):
Yep, we're gonna have the QR codes. Joe Brett is
gonna thank you Joe Brett for printing those out because
I don't have a printer at my house, so he's
gonna print those out. And I just sent it so.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Joe Brett mail Joe Brett still has a printer. How
nineteen eighty five.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
Of him is only one?

Speaker 1 (35:50):
It's the office off even I have is it quarter
or wireless?

Speaker 13 (35:56):
I got rid of a printer whenever I got read
of cable.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
So.

Speaker 19 (36:01):
Hey, kind of one other thing. I think water's provided,
but if you want something else, bring.

Speaker 13 (36:05):
It, yes, right correct, Yep, we're gonna I'm gonna go
get about one hundred and twenty bottles of water and
we're gonna have it up there at the at the
campsite or at the pavilion. I learned last year's Last
year it was so hot that people came up to
me and said, hey, can I have a drink of water?
And I'm like, we didn't bring water because it was

(36:26):
all on your own, and people got a little angry.
So I decided, you know what, I'm just gonna go
out and buy water for everyone. It's gonna be up there.
If it's gonna be hot, we got, you know, water
to for you to cool down with, and it's going
to be provided.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
So good water. Yep, there's water in beer, so you know,
especially the beer that some of you drink. But you know,
but yeah, it's a good idea to have water. Absolutely
for sure. Been on hot, it is for certainly.

Speaker 13 (36:58):
So was somebody was nobody asking in the chat about
my last name and the PayPal.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
They wanted to verify the PayPal code. So I gave
him your name because it's going to show up when
they PayPal you anyway.

Speaker 13 (37:10):
Oh well, you spelled my name wrong. Yeah, this is
how you should be spelling.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
It's spelled Papa Lima echo alpha, Sierra echo iris.

Speaker 4 (37:23):
It's how we spelled it's it's spelled.

Speaker 10 (37:26):
Please copy, copy. I love it.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
That's right. So okay, all right, Steve, you're on screen now, buddy,
So why don't you tell us about four days in August?
Not a copyrighted thing at all. I hope you don't
get sued, but you know, good luck to you.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Would we Why would we get sued four days in May?

Speaker 1 (37:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
I mean May and August are two totally different different buns.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Yeah, And I.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
Don't want to throw any shade at those q RP
guys for using low power and kind of phoning it
in for four days in make because they do Thursday
and then they count Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Speaker 9 (38:01):
At the Hamfest.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
We're doing like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and then the
Hamfest is its own thing. Love you too, Mark, Mark's
in the chat here, So shout out to hard for
helping to put on the friendliest ham Fest on the planet.
We had this thing that we do called four Days
in August. This is going to be the third year
of it, and I figured all of us are going
to be camping at Mont Sano State Park, why don't
we all do like ham related things? And I came

(38:25):
up with this idea for what I call anti forums.
You know, instead of sitting in a forum at a
ham Fest and being talked at while you fall asleep
in the chair after standing all day long, We're gonna
actually get hands on and do stuff. And so some
of the people here on screen with me today are
actually going to be putting on some presentations. I'll be
putting on some presentations. The list of stuff I've got
shared in the Toad's discord, and I will drop a

(38:47):
link as soon as I finish talking, because I can't
do three things at once. We are going to put
on a presentation starting people are gonna start arriving tomorrow
if some people aren't already there today, but starting Wednesday
is when the presentations kick off. And there's a bunch
of informal stuff that happened the days before. But Dave
here in the chat with us KB five U t
Y is going to get you all set up with

(39:08):
mesh Tastic. If you don't have a Meshtastic device, I'll
have some for you, so he'll be able to get
one in your hands, get it charged up, get it connected,
and you'll be able to send your first message and
understand everything there is about Meshtastic. So that's a little
bit of a different thing compared to like Dave standing
in front of a classroom just talking about it and.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
Then they document. I'm showing it on screen now, Steve.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
We're on the Wednesday section. Okay, right after that, Mike
and Becky are here with us today. They're the Ham
Radio duo. Check out their channel on YouTube as well.
They're going to be doing a CW class and it's
going to go from ten thirty until y'all decide to
go wherever you decide to go for lunch.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Can I learn CW all in one day with them?
Can I do that? Is that a day you would
not be able to would be able to? Okay, Okay,
thirty minutes I could do c W? Th Can I
get better than Kyle in thirty minutes? That's all I
really want?

Speaker 3 (40:00):
So you probably can I have in a month?

Speaker 1 (40:04):
So all right, sorry, Steve, I just had to throw
that in.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
Go ahead, Yeah, yeah, They're going to tell you all
the ins and outs of CW and like you know,
what the difference is between a paddle and a bug
and a cootie, and what iambic means and what straight
key means and where to go for learning and talk
probably about the different CW clubs that are out there
and things like that. And then our buddy James Cribbs
from over at Ham Radio Prep and World Radio League

(40:29):
is going to put on a potologuing demonstration and what
you know, it will be in a park, so shocker
if that one's not going to be a live hands
on demonstration for you too. You'll be able to get
the app for your laptop or for your cell phone
and do your park activation there and he'll be there
to show you all the cool features of his application. Jason,
who is also in the chat here KM four a

(40:50):
c K is going to be doing a a p
R S class so you'll be able to learn.

Speaker 11 (40:55):
Yes, sir, I think Mr D said he wanted to
help out with that.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Yeah, okay, I will put his name down there for it,
and I think I should put him first since he
actually knows more about it.

Speaker 6 (41:08):
The book on it.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
You guys just lost all of your students right then.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
And then Big Jim and I, Big Gem and I
are going to and we're going to disprove the myth
that DMR is only Internet radio and we're actually going
to make simplex contacts over DMR on the mountaintop and
believe there's actually a DMR repeater that we might be
able to get access to if it's not on the
wrong side of the hill from us. I've got a

(41:34):
list of who all's arriving on what day in this document,
and then Thursday Thursday goes on to the next page.
There's the Signals Museum as a group, and they've got
a group discount rate, but I would encourage you to
pay you your way in and then also give them
a little bit of a donation because they've got some
awesome stuff there, and Mike and Becky have been there
before and they've they've vetted it out for us, so

(41:57):
I'd like to get down and see that. And then
we're going to our friends over at Gigaparts and we're
gonna get there at noon. They're gonna have lunch for us,
and we're gonna stay there until we turn the lights
off at about seven or eight pm.

Speaker 9 (42:10):
And then we'll have to go somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
After that, I don't know, we'll figure some bar to
go go read.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
So Thursday morning, informal, very informal, we're gonna go to
breakfast at the Blue Plate Cafe, So anybody who's there
Thursday morning, we're gonna go to breakfast. I've actually invited
the gigabarts guys to go with us. I think they're
gonna join us probably seven point thirty ish in the
morning something like that. So anybody who wants to go
is welcome to. We're also going to do dinner on

(42:35):
Wednesday evening for those of you who there, those of
you who are there Wednesday evening, so if you want
to be included in that, everybody's welcome, but reach out
to me on discord for plans on that. But go ahead, Steve.
I just you were talking about Thursday, and I see
your things starts at ten am, so we got plenty
of time to do breakfast before that, so I wanted
to throw that in there real quick.

Speaker 2 (42:57):
And actually on Thursday, the yeah, ten am is the
Signals Museum, so we'll be doing that after breakfast, and
then the Gigabart stuff is at noon, so we're doing
we're doing a lunch there. Gigaparts is providing the lunch
and we're going to make good use of their facilities
and they have a very very large shop and it's
not just Ham radio stuff. It's also they've got a
flight simulator and a racing simulator there, and they've got

(43:19):
lots of PC stuff and three D printed stuff, which
is a good segue into Jim's anti forum that he's
doing from two to three pm. He's going to talk
about three D printing. There will be three D printers
there and he's actually going to get one set up
and print something, so you know, you'll be able to
like see how the process works and ask questions along
the way, and he'll show you downloading an STL, running

(43:40):
it through a slicer, sending it to the printer, what
happens when it screws up, how to start over again,
and you know, we can't do too much in an hour,
but we'll be able to do more than nothing, which
is going to be the interesting thing. And then yes, yes,
Mike Kate MRD is here. He's going to talk about
the Gigabarts Explorer series of go bags stuff and hopefully
we're going to go out on the floor of the

(44:01):
store and raid the Explorer backpack section and talk about
all the different accessories and things like that. And if
he's got room in his vehicle, if y'all don't hit
him up for stuff beforehand, all you locals. He might
have room to bring his seventy three hundred backpack with him.

Speaker 9 (44:16):
We're gonna break for dinner.

Speaker 6 (44:17):
We don't in the car.

Speaker 9 (44:18):
Oh awesome. We don't know where.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
We're going for dinner, so there's going to be a
whole lot. I don't know what do you want to eat?
I don't know what do you want to eat?

Speaker 9 (44:25):
Stuff.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
So after we get that figured out, we'll figure out
where to go, and then we're going to come back.
And our friend Tom w a two iv D from
the Ham Radio A to Z channel. He makes a
crowbar circuit, so he'll have those available to purchase. He's
going to talk about what a crowbar circuit is, why
you need it, What it protects fuses normally protect ambriage
crowbars protect you from over voltage, is the short thing.

Speaker 9 (44:47):
I don't want to give too much away. And then
if you.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
Get one, we might just take it out the parking
lot and build it, you know, with the glow of
flashlights in USB powered soldering irons. And then I was
going to do if there's if there's time, I was
going to do an AI using AI and Ham Radio
it's actually pretty cool. You can you can tell it
what part on your radio had broke, and it will
give you the part number and it'll give you links
to go buy the part. Like it's it's got some
pretty good details. And it helped me with my Yes

(45:14):
eighty eight hundred that I dropped on the floor and
broke one of the knobs off of so I've got
to I've got a repair video on that coming out
on my channel. And then James is going to do
another PoTA logging session if we have time, but the
schedule's pretty busy, so those are those are kind of
optional things and we can do them a little bit later.
And then there is a game the Rocket City Trash
pandas are going to be playing double a Ball, and

(45:37):
there's a there's a beer night at the stadium, and
you want to talk to Jeff n four Pod. You
guys are recognized Jeff when you see him.

Speaker 9 (45:45):
He's gonna help with kicking that off.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
And then Friday, we've got more activities on Friday that's
kind of surrounded the lunch and we've got things that
are going on at the PODA lunch at the Pavilion
that Kyle's putting on, uh, so you can eat and
then you can go see some of the other cool
stuff that we're doing. Let's see, Rene has already mentioned
the breakfast takost. Thank you, Renee, Jason, I hear you
want to say.

Speaker 1 (46:06):
Something, so so yeah, somebody asked in the chat, is
there a plan for breakfast on Friday morning? And Renee,
I couldn't remember if you had talked about Thursday or Friday.
So she's doing that Friday. Is there a time for
that or something? Because I think that the pavilion opens
up at eight am.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
Technically, yeah, as soon as as soon as AFL gets
his lazy butt out of bed.

Speaker 9 (46:26):
He's got the grill.

Speaker 3 (46:27):
I'm telling you. You guys don't want to know how
I get it.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
I think he gets up early. Yeah, I think he
gets up with.

Speaker 12 (46:32):
That's where we're having breakfast. Okay, fifty one A or
the pavilion, whichever, whichever kind of works out wherever that is.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
So, and we're going to coordinate all this on one
forty six four five. So if you get over to
fifty one Elpha and there's no breakfast there, and then
bring us up on Simplex and we'll tell you that
we're at the pavilion. Our friend Dave here on stream
with us KP five u Ty said we should do
a tailgate or a swap meet or something. So bring
your stuff to the pavilion, leave it in your car,

(47:01):
and if you got something, we'll we'll do like a
you know, every ye every forty walk through the parking
lot and see who's.

Speaker 9 (47:07):
Got what.

Speaker 1 (47:10):
At the pavilion.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
Yeah, because that makes the most sense because people will
be driving over there anyway.

Speaker 4 (47:14):
Right.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
No, that's a great idea. I wish I would have
thought of that. I've already got you know what, I've
got five things in my head right now. I'm gonna
put in the truck. Okay, good, I'll do that, all right,
get rid of so Mike, Mike's gonna Mike's gonna sell
is crapp now, so.

Speaker 6 (47:32):
I will be tailgating.

Speaker 2 (47:33):
Now they will go, and then our friend Jean Luke
Gendron uh Locutus of Ham is going to be setting
up his phased Z array. It's going to be I
believe in John's in the chat. I think I believe
that he's going to do a phased array on twenty meters.

Speaker 9 (47:51):
Because it takes up less space, and.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
He'll be able to show you, like flip the knob
and the whole East coast goes away, and flip the
knob the other direction of the whole West coast goes away,
and show you how these things work, and how you
can have two different vertical antennas connected to the same
piece of coax through his device and how it works
and the delay lines and all the science and engineering
behind it. And then he'll have some of those for
sale for you also, and he can tell you a

(48:15):
whole lot more about it than I can. I am
not doing it justice. We had him on our show
a while back to describe it a couple of times.
Carlos is going to be doing some parachute jumps. I
understand that Carlos is going to be Jim's backpack from
one of those parachute jumps. If you guys have seen
Carlos in person, he's about four foot nothing, and Jim
is I don't mean to.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
Be rude, but did Carlos change his weight requirements If
he's taken Jim.

Speaker 5 (48:39):
With them, my weight, My weight has dropped.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
I've lost I only said that because I know you're
in the chat. Jim because you know you're there.

Speaker 6 (48:47):
But Jim, you're gonna be You're gonna be having a
cool while you're falling out of.

Speaker 20 (48:50):
The die Pepper with Hell yeah, my ground seem to
be waiting with the diet Doctor Pepper and a smoke.

Speaker 9 (49:00):
Its writer's in his contract.

Speaker 4 (49:03):
Why not take it with you?

Speaker 2 (49:06):
And since Jim is here, my partner in crime getting
this thing all set up. So thank you very much
Jim for helping out with this. Steve KO four AFL
here with us is our volunteer examiner coordinator for both
the Sorry Hand Radio Clubhouse and the Toads Club k
Lo Tango zero Alpha, Delta Sierra, and we will be
there to get you your ticket or get you your

(49:28):
upgrade on the mountaintop. And if you do an upgrade,
you'll be able to activate right away as an acting
general or an acting extra.

Speaker 9 (49:36):
As opposed to Wait. Yep, you can.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
Pass your test, get your CSSE and get on the
radio and we'll have radios there for you too. The
Signals Museum has a Handfest event on Friday from five
to eight. The Signals Museum is closed to the public
for this event and it's just for us, so just
head over there and mention that you're with the group
and that is a special thirteen dollars per person, and

(50:01):
then we'll figure something out about dinner again Friday night,
and then that is it.

Speaker 13 (50:08):
Sweet, So Friday nights, right, yeah, can I mention Friday nights?

Speaker 1 (50:13):
Go right ahead?

Speaker 13 (50:15):
So typically we hopefully we will have burgers and dogs
left over. We will cook what we don't originally cook.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
We did not have anything last year, which is the
first time that's happened, right right, We had some we've
had something that previous two or three years, but last
year we did not have. So yeah, yeah, it will
It will very much depend on how it goes on lunchtime.

Speaker 13 (50:40):
Yeah, right ahead, But anything that we do not have
cooked already because we're kind of once we get it
towards the end, we'll do, you know, kind of all
the cart you know, as all right, how many people
have not eaten over here?

Speaker 16 (50:52):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (50:53):
Ten? Okay, let's put ten burgers on the on the grill,
so you know, I'm gonna get eighty burgers and eighty
hot dogs. Actually I think I'm gonnaet a hundred hot dogs.
So hopefully we will have stuff left over, so people
can you know, snack on the things between, and then
we'll have, you know, some stuff for you guys to

(51:13):
to eat at h at dinner. I think Joe Brett
likes to call it supper, but we will.

Speaker 4 (51:22):
It's supper.

Speaker 1 (51:24):
Freddy Mac calls it supper as well.

Speaker 8 (51:26):
Good.

Speaker 13 (51:27):
I think it's a South thing. I think it is
in Alabama. I guess we'll have a supper, not dinner.
But anyway, that's the that's the plan. So I might
I might bring some other stuff. We might even put
together some tacos. Who knows. I'm just gonna who knows.
I'm just gonna take my fridge and whatever is in
my fridge.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
We're just gonna we're just gonnadate Friday. Depending on how
much sun there is on Friday Friday, being at the
pavilion all day, it kind of drains you, especially if
you don't drink enough water, which is usually my problem.
So a lot of times when four or five pm
Friday rolls around, you're like, dude, I don't want to
do I want to sit down and do nothing for

(52:07):
about three hours. So I hope that you guys, I
hope you guys are successful with everything you do. But
Friday I think I'm gonna veg after this is all over.

Speaker 6 (52:16):
I think I might have to go to the Mellow Mushroom.
Anyone is welcome to come with me. But gosh, darn,
is that pizza delicious?

Speaker 5 (52:22):
It is good?

Speaker 1 (52:23):
It is. Yeah, we used to have those here and
they all close down.

Speaker 20 (52:26):
So we have one potential issue we need to talk
about with Friday. Okay, I don't know if Kyle has
rounded up food fetching service yet, but I potentially won't
be there for part.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
Of we'll not So, so the the ladies, meaning my
wife and Noel, are not going to allow you and
Joe Brett to go get food this year. Yes, so
you guys took way too down long to go buy
Hamburgers last year.

Speaker 4 (52:50):
Hamburgers was quick. It was the freaking.

Speaker 1 (52:54):
Whichever one it was, man, I mean, like, come on,
you're you're feeding a group of one hundred freaking hungry Hams.
It's takes three hours. Yeah, so Noel, So Noel can
drive your truck, is that correct?

Speaker 4 (53:09):
Joe Brett, she's bringing her own, she can bring it.

Speaker 1 (53:11):
Okay, So she's gonna So Emily is flying in and
she and Noel and I think she's got I think
she's got Noel's phone number. They may have texted already,
I don't remember, but she.

Speaker 9 (53:24):
You can figure out how to make that happen.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
Emily's pretty determined that she and Noel are going to
do the shopping this year, So you guys are off
the hook. Worry about it. Amen, we'll do that.

Speaker 4 (53:33):
I don't have to worry about giving to you.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
Kyle, you're muted. I see you talking, but your mute.

Speaker 12 (53:39):
Hey.

Speaker 13 (53:39):
So I just want to make sure let's coordinate because
I was going to go to Costco on Thursday and
get everything I'm doing.

Speaker 1 (53:47):
Okay, if you want to do that that that's fine,
if you want to do that. But last year we
had to rely on these two goobers on the bottom
of my screen to go on Friday morning before you
guys could even start cooking.

Speaker 13 (53:59):
I understand, and that's okay. I'm getting there on Wednesday,
and then I'm gonna go and get all the groceries
on Thursday. And that's my whole plan on Thursday was
to get all of the cold stuff.

Speaker 1 (54:11):
Okay, Okay, So I'll tell you what. I will start
a group chat with Joe Brett. I need Noel's phone number.
I don't think I have it, so send it to
me a discord. No, give it to me right now,
that's cool. No, No, but I will. I'll start agreat
Yeah eight six seven, five three o nine. I'm not

(54:32):
old or anything.

Speaker 6 (54:33):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (54:33):
I'll start a group chat with my wife, Kyle, Noel,
the three of you guys, Renee.

Speaker 7 (54:40):
Just because I'm local in case we need to do something.

Speaker 1 (54:43):
Becky, Okay, Becky, I don't think I have your number either,
send it to me a discord. Okay, I'll start a
group chat. And she's asking, My wife is asking, is
there room to store that much food? What are you
gonna put that in? Kyle?

Speaker 13 (54:56):
Yeah, I'm gonna go over to Rob's cabin. We're gonna
stick it in the freezer.

Speaker 8 (55:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:03):
If you need extra space, I got you in cabin
eight cars.

Speaker 1 (55:05):
There's there's some there's some freezer space in my trailer
that I'm not using the freezer at all. It's not
that big.

Speaker 5 (55:11):
But I'm in cabin fourteen. I got a freezer too.

Speaker 13 (55:15):
Okay, Okay, So I think what I'm gonna do is,
you know, I'm gonna bring a cooler full of ice
and I'm gonna take all the stuff and I'm gonna
put it on ice, and you know it will set
for twenty four hours, and if it thaws, that's great
because then the burgers.

Speaker 3 (55:32):
Will cook faster.

Speaker 13 (55:33):
So yeah, okay, that's what I was gonna do. That
was my plan because I don't have enough space.

Speaker 1 (55:39):
I think that I think that's fine. I think the
main point is that last year we had to wait
on Friday, and I'm I like to tease you guys,
it's nobody's fault, but we had to. We we went
and bought the food Friday morning, and that caused delay,
and that's what we want to avoid this year.

Speaker 5 (55:56):
They hid the hot dog.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
However, however that gets accomplished. I think that the mangle it.

Speaker 4 (56:01):
Wasn't even the main problem. It was finding the ice machine.
Everybody wanted so much ice, and we had to find
one that and have some sketchy ice machines.

Speaker 5 (56:09):
I mean, Joe Brett and now we're both you know,
we're both packing.

Speaker 4 (56:13):
This guy come up and said, yeah, this was stole
sixty bucks from me last week, and he's still trying
to get out.

Speaker 12 (56:18):
Kyle, do you think that eighty is going to be enough?
I last year, people come up to me and said
that they didn't get eat, and I know I personally
did not get to eat. So do you think eighty
is going to be enough?

Speaker 13 (56:31):
That's what we're cooking for Verne?

Speaker 12 (56:33):
Okay? Cool?

Speaker 4 (56:37):
Yeah, because I think I remember the folks that they
y'all showed up a little late. I don't know if
he was coming back from drop zone or what.

Speaker 12 (56:44):
Maybe, I mean, I don't, I don't. I don't know
what timing it was, and that that may be part
of it.

Speaker 4 (56:48):
You may be right, Yeah, I mean wouldn't usually late.
But I remember the folks that started drifting in.

Speaker 13 (56:54):
Yeah, I mean, if if you get there at three
o'clock in the afternoon, you're probably not going to get anything,
you know, So time it.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
Was, but I mean it's it's, yeah.

Speaker 13 (57:03):
Like we one we can't cook all afternoon, and two
we have to cap it at a certain at a
certain dollar amount, right. I mean I could buy a
thousand dollars worth of food, but I really don't want
to go home with eight hundred dollars with the food,
you know, So what we had to we had to pick.
You know, last year we did sixty. This year we're
going to do eighty. If you know, I'm sorry. If

(57:23):
you know you get there at one o'clock in the
afternoon and you know there's no burgers or you know,
there's nothing else. I don't know what to tell you.
We're gonna cook for it.

Speaker 12 (57:32):
I think people reached out to me just because you know,
we ran the pavilion and so it was the same. Yeah,
they thought they were talking to somebody who might know something.
I'm like, I have a clue. I just got it.

Speaker 21 (57:41):
Yeah, manager, So my suggestion, I yeah, my suggestion would
be get there at eleven o'clock and whenever we say
the food is ready, get in line.

Speaker 4 (57:57):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (57:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (57:58):
We can't feed everybody all day long. So yeah, I
think that's a great plan. I think that's a great plan.

Speaker 10 (58:02):
Hey, hey, Kyle, so when you do leave to go
to Costco, make sure to grab me so I can
grab uh put the stuff for the beans inside the cart. Yeah,
of course, five pounds of beans, grab hapenos.

Speaker 1 (58:18):
You guys plan on going to breakfast with this Thursday
morning that you can head right over there after that
I want to done.

Speaker 10 (58:24):
Ye sounds good, that's awesome.

Speaker 13 (58:27):
Well, I have to go in the afternoon. I got
to drop the dog off of the citter.

Speaker 1 (58:31):
Oh well, okay, okay, Well we're gonna go to breakfast.
Then we're gonna go to Gigaparts and hang out for
a little bit. I got a couple of video things
to do over there, so okay, yeah, let's well, but yeah,
we'll coordinate. That's cool. So something I did want to
talk about, and t O kind of brought this up,
and I want to let I want to let Rob
and and uh Dave talk about meshtastic here in a second.

(58:54):
But so there is apparently, and I need to look
up the frequency there. There is there is a six
meter repeater in town that's supposed to be really good.
And there's also a very good for forty repeater in
town that's right behind the gigabart store that has all
Star and I connected it to my all Star hub
the last time I was in town. So I'm gonna
try to do that again. I got to email the

(59:14):
guy and make sure it's okay. But to brought up
the thing about DMR Simplex, I would love to do
a PODA activation over DMR simplex. Hell yeah, So if
you guys have a DMR ht or and I would
love to do a PoTA activation with six meters. So
if you have a six meter FMHT, bring those and

(59:38):
let's do some unique PoTA act I don't care if
there's thirty five people in the park, it still counts
for PODA. Okay, you just got to make ten contacts,
So bring your DMR hts, bring your six meter fmhts,
and let's do some unique PODA contacts during this weekend
because we're all going to be there anyway. So I
think that's a I think that's an excellent I had

(59:58):
said a couple of years ago I wanted to do
some D simplex PODA activation and I think I made
like three contacts and nobody else had a radio, So
let's do that. I think that's an excellent idea.

Speaker 20 (01:00:08):
That's a great idea because we'll make sure to mention
that when we do the DMR class on whatever Dad
perfect Wednesday night.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
I think you guys need help with that DMR class.
I know a guy, Okay, it's me. You know, I've
been doing DMR since twenty thirteen, so I'm not saying
I'm an expert, but you know, I think I'm Mike
when it comes to antenna masts on DMR.

Speaker 6 (01:00:34):
So anyway, I will be bringing an HT that does
D star.

Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Oh well, good luck with that. You can talk to
yourself all day long.

Speaker 5 (01:00:42):
Mike, we can talk to each other.

Speaker 12 (01:00:46):
I'll have a D Star.

Speaker 4 (01:00:48):
I'll have a D Star.

Speaker 1 (01:00:50):
Jason, You'll be on D Star when everyone else is
trying to talk to you on FM. Buddy ak A
c K. I'll text him it him KSh. I'll be like,
where are you. He's like, I've been calling you on
one and I'll hear this. I'm like, flip the switch,
your dumb ass, what's wrong with you? Oh my gosh,
it was Well, it's still it's digital. It's digital. But

(01:01:13):
you know, mister aprs over here, he doesn't know how
to use freaking from someplace.

Speaker 20 (01:01:19):
So some of us to the first time we're at Huntsville.

Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
I think there's maybe more than some of you. I
need did that some of you did?

Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
So all right, let's talk about and if anyone else
has anything to talk about. This is a free, open
form guys. I appreciate everyone's time tonight. It's been an
awesome discussion. Uh, let's talk about mestastic So Rob and Dave. Rob,
I know you were working on something for a custom build.
I don't know what the latest status on that is.
Whatever it is, you can tell us about it. And

(01:01:51):
Dave will be Dave KB five U t Y who
he worked us a lot on our Colorado Poda. Yeah
he did, we see, Yeah, he worked most of us.
He will be representing I don't want to say working for.
He will be representing Seed Studios, who has a booth
this year at Huntsville Hemfest. So if you guys need

(01:02:12):
any meshtastic devices, this is who you need to talk to.
So you guys, you guys, take it away.

Speaker 5 (01:02:17):
Go ahead, all right, Rob, we're going to talk.

Speaker 19 (01:02:20):
About I'll talk about config first, all right, So I'll
be it'll probably be late tonight, but before the end
of the day or before I go to bed tonight,
I'll be putting out a QR code for a couple
of channels, all right. That'll be a Huntsville channel and

(01:02:41):
a YouTube channel. So we'll have a couple of channels.
The configuration we're going to go with, and I'll add
this in the posts that include the QR codes. But
for folks who want to get an early start, we're
going to be trying short fast right if you guys
remember we were running short turbo at yeah, at ham Vention,

(01:03:06):
and I want to try short fast and do a
compare and contrast. We did short fast at Orlando and
it worked real well. So we're gonna we're gonna run
short fast ham Cash. We ran it at hamm cash
short fast, and we did short short fast.

Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
Okay, okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 8 (01:03:25):
Short turbo in the short fast.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
The problem with okay, two things, short turbo. The problem
was the whole forgetting the nodes too early thing, which
we've discussfully right now, yes, correct, Yeah, I'm interested to
see how this works, and it's great, but there's not
going to be nearly that many people here as there
was at Hamvention, so maybe short fast is much better

(01:03:50):
for a smaller audience. I don't know.

Speaker 19 (01:03:53):
Well, like I said, we're good at ham Cash. We
didn't did cash, so we'll run it again. Well, we're
gonna run short ask max of three hops. Your rebroadcast
mode will be local.

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Only, okay, and we want.

Speaker 19 (01:04:07):
To disable MQQT and pretty yes, pretty straightforward. But I'll
put all this out in a post. I'll probably do
a little short on it as well, so keep your eyes,
keep your eyes peeled for that.

Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
Are you going to have I think you just said this.
I want to confirm. Are you going to have a
QR code for the a specific Huntsville group?

Speaker 19 (01:04:26):
Yes, well, a Huntsville group. And then we'll have our
YouTube group, so we'll have two channels.

Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
That's okay, part of that. Do you have that now?

Speaker 8 (01:04:35):
I do not have it now?

Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (01:04:37):
Is that the same YouTube that we've always been using
or did you make a new it is it's the
same one, okay, because I need to re both of mine.

Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
With those excellent okay. So okay, So so when you
flash this, will it wipe out everything else you've done
in your node thus far?

Speaker 19 (01:04:55):
So it will. It will replace your channels, okay, okay,
does not replace your chats, right, You'll still have your chats.

Speaker 6 (01:05:06):
It doesn't.

Speaker 19 (01:05:07):
You don't lose any, but you will replace those channels.

Speaker 4 (01:05:10):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (01:05:12):
But you know, the way I look at.

Speaker 19 (01:05:14):
It is every time I go to one of these events,
I clear out my node list anyhow, because.

Speaker 12 (01:05:20):
Yeah, because I want to see who we pick up there.

Speaker 8 (01:05:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (01:05:23):
Yeah, so it's always nice to kind of start so
the fresh node list, clear all that out, and yeah,
and then you're then you're ready to.

Speaker 8 (01:05:32):
Roll, yeah, and up on the mountain.

Speaker 16 (01:05:33):
I'll be there starting Tuesday afternoon, I hope cool, and
then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, so we'll I'll be there. I mean, yeah,
I'm doing the presentation on Wednesday, but any other day
during the week, I'm gonna have my laptop. If you
guys need help getting things set up, find me. I'll
probably be wherever everybody else is.

Speaker 1 (01:05:52):
So I've got that new Trekker Delta from Spec five
that's got that whatever that new chip is calling it,
that has the battery life of.

Speaker 16 (01:06:00):
Like fourteen yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
Yeah, that one. So I've got that node. I'm gonna
charge it up and I think I'm gonna put it
on a mast on the back of my camper and
just leave it there. It's kind of keep it keep
it like twenty or thirty feet in the air, so
that's there all the time. I will flash that with
the with the QR code. So Rob, when you have that,
let me know and I'll share it out on my
Twitter my Instagram as well.

Speaker 8 (01:06:20):
Yeah, that'll be great.

Speaker 19 (01:06:21):
I'm going to be putting a solar node up at
my cabin as well, just so there's something that's always there.
Good and yeah, so I'll bring a whole host of nodes.

Speaker 12 (01:06:32):
So yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
As well, So that's cool. Are you going to have
those for sale?

Speaker 16 (01:06:41):
Dave, Yes, this, this entire setup we will have for sale.

Speaker 1 (01:06:45):
So Dave, David, put my day, put my name on
the first one. The other fools about do not do
not sell all of those nose to YouTubers.

Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
Do not do it.

Speaker 19 (01:06:59):
Hey, David, if you want to put I can put it.

Speaker 8 (01:07:02):
Up at the cabin.

Speaker 16 (01:07:03):
Yeah yeah, I'll just I'll have to take it back
down because it's our display for Saturday.

Speaker 8 (01:07:07):
And oh yeah, you might not want to do that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
Then put my name on the first one. Don't don't
listen to jim.

Speaker 6 (01:07:15):
My Solar Spec five Beacon plus thing, whatever the heck
it's called.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Oh sweet, yeah, yeah good.

Speaker 6 (01:07:22):
I mean should we I mean, my seed studio thing
is on client mute. Should we really be putting ninety
nine percent of our things on client mute?

Speaker 16 (01:07:32):
If you've got multiple nodes, if you personally have multiple nodes,
put all but one on client mute. If we all
go on client mute, we're not going to rebroadcast, and
nobody will talk to anybody right, you have to have
clients out there.

Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
I would put here crack me if crack me. If
you disagreed, Dave and Rob, I would put the node
that you put up the highest, the solar node that
you put up your campsite, and leave there. I would
put that on regular are not mute client and then
put all put all on client. Okay, think and I
didn't know if you're doing client or repeater, So client,

(01:08:07):
and then put the one in your pocket and your backpack,
put those on client mute.

Speaker 16 (01:08:11):
Is that that's good? That way we have to have
clients in order for it to hop around.

Speaker 4 (01:08:15):
Correct.

Speaker 16 (01:08:16):
Yes, so, but like I carry twenty nos. A lot
of times with.

Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
Me, I thought I was bad.

Speaker 16 (01:08:23):
Well, well, I've got all my display and everything else,
so you know I've got everything is client mute except
for one, because I do need something to be able
to rebroadcast everything. So if you've only got one, leave
it on client.

Speaker 12 (01:08:36):
Right.

Speaker 16 (01:08:36):
If if you've got a lot, put them on mute
except for one. Right, It's kind of the best thing
to do. Nobody needs to run router or repeater. We'll
all be within close proximity. There's no need to try
and bounce things far away, and that'll just cause issues.

Speaker 8 (01:08:52):
So yeah, and I actually do it the opposite, Jason.
The one I.

Speaker 19 (01:08:56):
Carry really okay, Okay, the one I carry on me
is the one that I'm likely connected to and communicating through. Right,
that's the one that I'm going to be uh messaging through.

Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
But if you're okay, So if you've muted, if you've
muted the one on your backpack and it's connected to
the one that's tall up on a mask next to you,
you're going to be able to send a message anyway.

Speaker 6 (01:09:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (01:09:20):
Correct, you can still send and received messages on client mute.
You still send and received message. You just don't rebroadcast.

Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
You don't rebroadcast, okay, right.

Speaker 19 (01:09:29):
So but if you if you go out of range
of your stationary one.

Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
Yes, that's true. Okay, I see where you're coming from.

Speaker 19 (01:09:37):
Okay, that's why I went thatt uh to rebroadcast.

Speaker 8 (01:09:41):
Okay, all right, And then I got one other thing
I'll share.

Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
Go ahead ahead.

Speaker 19 (01:09:46):
And sorry that this is a little late, but Tillo
and I were chatting behind the way here. I'm also
going to do a four day in August satellite session,
and so we were waiting to see when we would
have good passes, and the best opportunity is on Thursday

(01:10:10):
at one thirty. So here's how it'll be structured. So
at one thirty we'll talk a little bit of theory.
There's a pass at one point fifty, so i'll demonstrate
the pass. If you folks who are interested want to
bring your stuff, there's another pass at two thirty, and
I will help you make your contacts with your own

(01:10:31):
gear in that same hour. So get to see one,
then you'll get to try one.

Speaker 1 (01:10:36):
That'll be fine.

Speaker 9 (01:10:38):
And Rob is an excellent teacher.

Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
Yes he is, but that's going to be challenging if
like twenty five people show up and say, please let me.

Speaker 6 (01:10:46):
Make it car.

Speaker 5 (01:10:47):
Are we going to do that?

Speaker 20 (01:10:48):
Is that going to be a gigabarts, that will be
a giga parts yeah, park and market okay yeah.

Speaker 19 (01:10:54):
And unfortunately it runs into gym so I'm sorry, Jim,
that's uh, it's the TL's fault.

Speaker 1 (01:11:02):
Okay, good sweet, Okay, that'd be great.

Speaker 13 (01:11:07):
Rob.

Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
I'm gonna you know, I just had a brainstorm of
an idea. This is you're you're gonna love this. I
think you should get with Carlos and jump out of
a plane and point that yaggyty satellite where you're falling off.
You know, I mean that would be an excellent It
would be an excellent satellite contact buddy, if you were
I mean, you'd be that much closer to the satellite.

Speaker 6 (01:11:31):
Fleg Robert strapped on Carlos.

Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
I mean, you know, that's part of the fun. I
want to see it.

Speaker 20 (01:11:49):
I haven't told my wife about this little operation. I'm
hoping to show her triumphant video or I'll be calling
her from hospital going, so, honey, funny story.

Speaker 5 (01:11:59):
I found and they're playing leg.

Speaker 4 (01:12:01):
You're gonna laugh at this.

Speaker 18 (01:12:05):
Yeah, oh, jim nothing nothing, not personal. But remember the
last time Carlos jumped at Huntsville, he dropped something.

Speaker 12 (01:12:17):
To me.

Speaker 18 (01:12:19):
Yeah, that radio was attached to Carlos to Leg just
just saying I was.

Speaker 3 (01:12:27):
He decided to surf whoever he was jumping with.

Speaker 10 (01:12:30):
So I wasn't going to bring that up. I remember that.

Speaker 3 (01:12:33):
Yeah, I think.

Speaker 13 (01:12:35):
You might want to tug on those shackles just one
more time before you jump out of that plane.

Speaker 22 (01:12:40):
I would, Jimmy, you need to ask Carlos about his
training to Renee how to roll her hips forward. He
he's all hooked up behind her and all the rest
of the stuff. He goes, I want you to roll
your hips forward when we get ready to land, and
she says, like, how much doing?

Speaker 12 (01:12:55):
He just pretend you got a weird guy in the
back and you're just saying.

Speaker 1 (01:12:57):
Nope, that sounds like something Carlos is exactly.

Speaker 12 (01:13:06):
You know what it's in jump video.

Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
You know, it's hilarious that jackass joined my stream last
Sunday because he got the dates mixed up, and he's
not here tonight.

Speaker 12 (01:13:15):
He's got Yeah, yeah, I'll tell you about the chat.

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
That's all right. I just want to tease him, that's all.

Speaker 4 (01:13:23):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
Let's see, Paul. I want you to talk because you've
got a stream. Come up here and shortly, does anyone
else have anything else specific to Huntsville next weekend?

Speaker 13 (01:13:36):
Are we gonna let Frank have the floor talking about
the beans?

Speaker 12 (01:13:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:13:41):
You never came back to me.

Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
There's a there's a reason for you.

Speaker 13 (01:13:45):
I have just put everybody in torture.

Speaker 11 (01:13:52):
Get out of here.

Speaker 1 (01:13:53):
You're enjoying it. Who's leaving?

Speaker 11 (01:13:58):
I gotta get out of here?

Speaker 1 (01:13:59):
Okay, you guys joking with me? You actually have to go? No,
I really do have to get Okay, you'll be there
on Tuesday. You'll be there on Tuesday, Jason, Yes, okay,
I'll see you when I get there.

Speaker 12 (01:14:10):
Then.

Speaker 1 (01:14:10):
All right, man, thanks thanks for joining, Jason.

Speaker 8 (01:14:14):
Jason.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
All right, So, uh, I'm gonna look through the list here.
I'm gonna let Paul go last. All of you guys
in Zoom. You've all been to Huntsville before, right, yep,
you have no new people in Huntsville.

Speaker 17 (01:14:30):
Right.

Speaker 12 (01:14:31):
This will be my.

Speaker 23 (01:14:31):
First year, so this will be my first as well.

Speaker 9 (01:14:35):
We'll take it easy on you, Paul.

Speaker 1 (01:14:37):
That's your first year.

Speaker 23 (01:14:38):
Yeah, this is my first year for Dayton more everything,
but my second year for Tokyo.

Speaker 9 (01:14:43):
So say what can I say?

Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Hey, there you go.

Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
Not all of us can fly to Tokyo.

Speaker 5 (01:14:50):
Are not allowed to leave the country.

Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
Some of it.

Speaker 23 (01:14:53):
Yeah, I've seen your name on the list, Jim.

Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
Some of us are. Some of us are kind of
pissed that we've got one bottle of Japanese whiskey thus far.

Speaker 13 (01:15:02):
Tell me and I will bring it.

Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
I go there every week, did.

Speaker 13 (01:15:06):
All right, I'll get it for you.

Speaker 19 (01:15:07):
I'll get it somebody one of mine, yours, Robert. I
think Frank has one of mine.

Speaker 10 (01:15:17):
I think I do have one of Roberts.

Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
Good luck, but good luck getting that back Rob now.

Speaker 10 (01:15:23):
Now now Frank, Frank honors the if you tell me
it's for the community, it's for the community, and that
I got that at field day, and I keep forgetting
to bring it to you. It's safe, locked away, it's
not going to be this managed.

Speaker 13 (01:15:40):
He shouldn't have touched it.

Speaker 23 (01:15:41):
He got two white oak little split size ones as
a gift.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
So all right, let's see.

Speaker 13 (01:15:49):
I think that there's just real quick there's been some
questions and some discussion about when do we go to
the breweries and what are we doing, like how do
we announce it and whatnot? Do we want to cover
that at all?

Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
You know what, that's a good that's a good point.
So t O kind of touched on this earlier. We
will be monitoring one dot four five I think, yeah,
one four five of our is our simplex frequency. We'll
be listening to at the park and probably at the
show too. So you guys who are coming up now,

(01:16:22):
I will say this, Huntsville, Alabama is an excellent place
for one five two activity. They have a lot of
people on a on just a normal day drive through there,
and on a normal day in the middle of April,
you'll hear people on one forty six five two. It's
a great simplex community out there. So put the A

(01:16:44):
side of your radio on six top five two and
the B side on on A six top four to
five and that's where we'll be as six top four five.
So join my, join my all Star. I will be
monitoring all Star as often as I can, as long
as I have internet four to three one three six
on all Star, So you guys join that. I'm gonna
try to connect that repeater that's local to all Star,

(01:17:05):
and if I am able to do it, I will
send that out on my discord as well. So yeah,
we'll be we'll be around, we'll be on Discord, we'll
be on all Star, we'll be on Simplex. It should
be easy enough to find one or several of us
during the week, So that's that should be okay. But yeah, good,
good call on that, Kyle. Let's see I think that, Frank,

(01:17:29):
did you want to say anything else?

Speaker 16 (01:17:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:17:31):
Yeah, I will h in biging me because I'm gonna
throw up those links again. Yes, I asked Kyle h.
When we are on the Colorado trip. Can I help
partner with film for the A double r L. I'm
gonna be helped cooking air, also doing burgers and everything,
and most importantly, I will be making my beans. Everything

(01:17:53):
is planned it for it these beans. This is your warning,
h I was asked to make the beans how I
make them at home. So they're going to be hot,
They're going to be spicy. There's hobby and arrows in them.
I'm not hiding it. There's Auben narrows in them. If
you want to try them, more than happy to try them.

(01:18:13):
But I'm looking forward to doing the beans again this
year and helping out Kyle here with everything and cooking
and shopping and everything, and dude, I can't wait. It's
going to be a blast. I haven't made these in
a while for the group.

Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
There was have you ever made those for the group?

Speaker 13 (01:18:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:18:34):
I thought, well last year last last year they were
last year Huntsville.

Speaker 1 (01:18:42):
I know many times you've made them and watered them down. Yes,
you either didn't Yeah, you either didn't use Auben euros
at all or Huntsville.

Speaker 10 (01:18:52):
Last year there was five hobb and arrows. I had
pictures of them. But yes, this is for the team
Institute Cloud fundraiser, use use these links. Go ahead. I
do have some money still. I'm going to pass on
to Kyle. I got some after uh super chats for

(01:19:12):
the whole thing, and dude, it's gonna be amazing. It's
gonna be fun. I can't wait.

Speaker 12 (01:19:18):
Can you?

Speaker 20 (01:19:19):
Can you plus up old Frank because I was going
to scan that Kyle's code and make mycation.

Speaker 10 (01:19:26):
Oh plus it up for us?

Speaker 5 (01:19:28):
Well, no, I mean no, you're still a little tiny
picture here.

Speaker 1 (01:19:31):
How about how about this, Jim?

Speaker 20 (01:19:33):
That one I'm watching the zoom, not the livestream. Hang on,
there we go?

Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
Are you the zoom? The zoom is the lives I'm
doing virtual cam, so it should be the same. It's
just delayed. It's delayed, but it's it's the same thing.

Speaker 13 (01:19:45):
Are you Are you going to eat the beans before
or after you jump?

Speaker 5 (01:19:49):
Probably after that will be my gas deceleration.

Speaker 12 (01:19:59):
I don't think less would appreciate that.

Speaker 5 (01:20:01):
The bad luck to everybody underneath watching them right.

Speaker 13 (01:20:04):
Right, you'll rotate your hips in a new way.

Speaker 5 (01:20:11):
I don't want to like event.

Speaker 20 (01:20:14):
So yeah, we'll we'll wait on the beans until I'll
be eating after.

Speaker 6 (01:20:17):
It up SpaceX it will be space ass.

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
That's right, my goodness, but I can't wait before before
I let Paul talk.

Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
Does anyone else have anything else at all? Anything at all?

Speaker 7 (01:20:33):
We're gonna we're gonna give away one of our straight
keys that we designed sometime over the weekend, either at
the class or up at the pavilion. So we have
a flat key and a navy knob.

Speaker 4 (01:20:45):
So we'll see what somebody wants, and if.

Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
You can teach me c W in a half hour,
I'll buy like five of those from We'll have them
for you.

Speaker 24 (01:20:52):
I don't know if you've seen any of the videos
going around about people doing two meters c wh Yeah,
first time heard about it. Seemed a little crazy, but uh,
we'll probably be trying to do a PoTA on two
meters if we can either get a.

Speaker 1 (01:21:05):
Two meter c W sounds just about as fun as
two meter f T eight. It's it's it's very interesting.
I'm not being sarcastic. It sounds very interesting to do
something like that. Two meters sideband, two meter f T eight,
all very cool stuff. So yeah, good deal, yep.

Speaker 24 (01:21:22):
It seems like it's gonna be the perfect time to
have enough people around where there might be enough people to.

Speaker 6 (01:21:26):
Get a PoTA.

Speaker 7 (01:21:27):
We'll teach you to do it. Just walk over to him.

Speaker 1 (01:21:30):
I'll be PoTA over here.

Speaker 7 (01:21:31):
He'll tell you what to send.

Speaker 1 (01:21:32):
I'll pick it up and we'll make a contact. I
can send, I can send my call sign and I
can send uh you are you are? Hn n? Just fine?
But uh tell me if you yeah? Oh, Steve got
it so? Uh but yeah, Becky, just stand next to
me and decode and write down everything that comes to me,
and I'll be fine.

Speaker 10 (01:21:51):
I have a question for you too. How much of
a challenge do you want in a student?

Speaker 12 (01:21:55):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
My god, bring it.

Speaker 10 (01:21:57):
Bring it.

Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
Frank. Learn English. Frank doesn't know English. Frank, Frank, Frank,
say remember remember say it again? Say it again? Remember
remember remember remember say dismember dismember. Okay, so that's correct.
So he can he can say an M E M

(01:22:19):
B E R word. He just doesn't say it when
he says, remember, so.

Speaker 6 (01:22:23):
Do you say nuclear or nuclear?

Speaker 10 (01:22:25):
Nuclear?

Speaker 8 (01:22:27):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (01:22:27):
God?

Speaker 12 (01:22:27):
I know? Isn't aluminum?

Speaker 8 (01:22:31):
The litmus test word is peking.

Speaker 1 (01:22:35):
You know it is not peaking? Can't he can't say?
In the North p can is something you take in
the deer stand with you when you don't want to
disturb the animals.

Speaker 6 (01:22:51):
What kind of cokes are we going to have at
the event?

Speaker 1 (01:22:54):
Dr pep Pepper, Dr Pepper the Texas kind, right, someone
wants to be nice?

Speaker 10 (01:23:01):
Zero, I do drink Zero's.

Speaker 5 (01:23:06):
Personal stas.

Speaker 1 (01:23:07):
Yeah. Yeah, that went over his head.

Speaker 5 (01:23:09):
God's ambrosia here.

Speaker 1 (01:23:10):
So all right, So uh, Paul, Paul, Hi, say Hi, Satan? Hi, Satan,
Hell Satan?

Speaker 13 (01:23:21):
Could it be Satan?

Speaker 1 (01:23:22):
Could it be Satan?

Speaker 4 (01:23:24):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (01:23:26):
All right, So Paul has a stream coming up what
like nine minutes.

Speaker 23 (01:23:30):
If you start on, yeah, I'm gonna yeah, I'll go
and step out and start, okay, and then once your
stream is over, Dave will join me and we're going
to talk about mesh Tastic and the devices he has
for mesh Tastic and help me hopefully make sure I
got this thing working right.

Speaker 9 (01:23:46):
This indicator, I think is good.

Speaker 1 (01:23:47):
Luck with that. No, that that thing's really easy.

Speaker 3 (01:23:49):
It's it's really yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:23:50):
I may have it already set up.

Speaker 8 (01:23:51):
I don't know, we'll see.

Speaker 23 (01:23:53):
But yeah, So after Jason's stream, if you want uh
to talk more about mesh Tastic and Seed Studios products,
Da will join me and we'll talk about that. But
I'm excited. I'm just excited. I have nothing to do
announce for Huntsville because it's my first time. I'm excited
to go to gigaparts. I'm excited for the park, to
meet everybody, and uh, you know, I'm just looking forward
to it.

Speaker 4 (01:24:13):
So cool.

Speaker 1 (01:24:14):
Yeah, thanks man, appreciate here there.

Speaker 8 (01:24:17):
Yeah, thanks guys.

Speaker 1 (01:24:18):

I thought, yeah, same thing. Freddie Mac, Freddy Mac, what
time you get in there?

Speaker 11 (01:27:21):
I should be rolling in around three to four to five.
It depends on how many times I've got to stop
along the way.

Speaker 1 (01:27:27):
I plan on leaving Oklahoma around four i am, which
should put me around noon.

Speaker 9 (01:27:31):

Speaker 3 (01:27:42):
I am shooting for three o'clock on Thursday.

Speaker 1 (01:27:45):
Okay, you need to upgrade your vacation game. And come
one day earlier next year.

Speaker 3 (01:27:49):
Yeah, well we'll see if I'm still the same company
next year.

Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
Well, with you knowing you, you won't be. You will
have just started a new job like you have the
last y year every year. So yeah, all right, buddy,
we'll look forward to see are you camping with No,
you're camping with Carlos.

Speaker 3 (01:28:05):

Speaker 1 (01:28:08):
Okay, good, okay, Kyle, you get there Wednesday, Wednesday, okay, okay,
so I'll be there by the n Robert you're flying
in with Frank. You guys will be there Wednesday evening
I think seven seven thirty okay, and I guess you'll
probably be and you're flying into Huntsville, so probably maybe
about eight thirty arrival at the campsite.

Speaker 19 (01:28:30):
Yeah, probably, okay, all right, good, that sounds about right.

Speaker 1 (01:28:35):
Cool. Mikey and Becky, you guys are already.

Speaker 11 (01:28:38):
There, right, yeah, pretty much.

Speaker 7 (01:28:39):
Yeah, camper goes up Monday. We'll be there on lunchtime tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (01:28:44):
Cool, okay, good deal. Frank, you're with rob So that's
Wednesday night, Wednesday night.

Speaker 16 (01:28:50):
Dave, Tuesday around lunchtime. We're actually gonna stop in Meridian
on the way. We're leaving tomorrow, but stopping Meridian that
should get us into We're going to go straight to
the mountain and be there hopefully about lunchtime on Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
So Dave lives farther. He lives probably four or five
hours south of me, and he's going to get there
before me. So okay, all right, man, I'm going to
leave at the crack of dawn on on Tuesday, That's right,
and uh, and be there Tuesday, so I'll be I'll
be calling out on one two as I get there,
so you guys be monitoring that, everybody. Mike, I think

(01:29:28):
you're getting there, what like dinner time tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (01:29:31):
Real Hams get to mont Sano on Monday, yes, And
me being a real Ham, Mike, I want to get
there by like four tomorrow. So if I leave, if
I'm on the road by five in the morning, the
way I drive, I should be, I should be there.
And I will be monitoring one four six five two.
While I'm driving out there, I will be begoning APRS

(01:29:54):
on the whatever one four, four three nine, whatever the
hell frequency it is. And again I'll be on all
Star on node four three one is.

Speaker 1 (01:30:03):
It that is correct? For three three six? Here's there's
a lot of people who have joined the this the
All Star server since we started the live stream, so
thank you for doing that.

Speaker 9 (01:30:14):
Awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:30:15):
Okay, Bill, what are you get in there, buddy?

Speaker 15 (01:30:19):
I cannot confirm or deny on the schedule this right.
I'm working, literally working right now. So I'll be there
for the facility festivities.

Speaker 1 (01:30:33):
Where you stand.

Speaker 10 (01:30:35):
At forty one, I think is that where.

Speaker 1 (01:30:38):
You stayed last year?

Speaker 6 (01:30:39):
Yep?

Speaker 1 (01:30:40):
Okay, okay, so same spot as last year.

Speaker 15 (01:30:43):
Walk past the h from your spot, walk past the
bath house and hook the laft and past the tents
and yeah, the big green monstrosity.

Speaker 1 (01:30:52):
Then yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, So hook up the All
Star node and put it in the truck with you
when you hit the road.

Speaker 15 (01:30:58):
Oh dude, I have one permanent, permanent.

Speaker 1 (01:31:02):
Sweet, good, awesome cool man. Well, I know that Richard
and April I want to do dinner for a group
of us. I think that's Thursday night. I think.

Speaker 13 (01:31:22):
That's still on as.

Speaker 1 (01:31:23):
Far as I know this, I haven't. I talked to
him on All Star when we were in Colorado, and
unless that's.

Speaker 13 (01:31:29):
Changed, yeah, yeah, I don't think that's on it.

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
I don't think that's public knowledge.

Speaker 12 (01:31:33):
It.

Speaker 6 (01:31:34):
We'll talk about reasons.

Speaker 13 (01:31:35):
Yeah, I don't think so it's public now.

Speaker 1 (01:31:39):
Now I haven't he had. He's been on my All
Star server like two or three times, and he's invited
to me do that like three times.

Speaker 13 (01:31:47):
Well, I think they've been given announcements on the ham
Radio Adventure Guide channel for a while. I'm not.

Speaker 1 (01:31:54):
I don't, I don't, I don't frequent.

Speaker 13 (01:31:56):
Yeah, I know, but someone said it wasn't public public knowledge.
I think that they've been given some updates. So if
you want to know what's going on, you probably need
to go to the a Trag Discord and people are
giving updates there.

Speaker 1 (01:32:08):
Yeah, okay, we'll talk after the stream ends. Joe Brett,
what time are you guys getting there?

Speaker 4 (01:32:13):
Man, I'm glad, yes, because I almost buzzed this up
a little bit, almost had a boon dock a little bit.
I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:32:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:32:21):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (01:32:21):
The last year, I showed up on Wednesday and I
was just gonna head out Wednesday morning and I decided
to look it on a reservation the other day and
I don't get there till Thursday. So it's a boon
dock in the parking lot or something.

Speaker 1 (01:32:34):
But hey, you know what, I have a stard couch.
Come up, Come up on you're bringing your trailer right.

Speaker 4 (01:32:41):
Yeah, if it's the truck, make it there.

Speaker 1 (01:32:43):
So so so come up on Wednesday and park on
the other side of my campsite. Yeah, kiz because n
a Yo has rented that camp site for his pop up,
which is his girlfriend Jenny. She's not coming, so he's
going to be there on Thursday with a tent. He's
gonna tent camp and we're going to that whole side
of our camp site is going to be open the
whole weekend. So you want to stay there one night,

(01:33:04):
come on up, man.

Speaker 4 (01:33:05):
Seriously, we'll think about it because we thought.

Speaker 1 (01:33:08):
I suggest that everyone everyone, if you want to go
to this show next year, reserve your campsite when you
get there this time. You get there this time now.
Also check the dates because next year it's a day,
it's a weekend later. Because of the way the August
first falls, Mark said, it's always the I think he

(01:33:29):
said the third weekend, So it depends on when the
first falls. The first falls on a Saturday, it's going
to be different than if the first falls on a
Monday or something like that. So but rent your spot
for next year when you get there this year, and
if you have to cancel it, then cancel it, but
just get it reserved. I highly recommend doing that. So, yeah, dude,
come come up and stay with us on Wednesday. You're

(01:33:50):
welcome to Joe Brett. It's the third week of August
every year, or third or full weekend. The third full weekend,
so the third Saturday basically all right. I think it's
like the twentieth and twenty first next year or something
like that. If you go to Hamfest dot org, which
is their website, and scroll down to the bottom, it
tells you the next three years of dates.

Speaker 9 (01:34:10):
Oh sweet.

Speaker 1 (01:34:11):
Yeah, so put that on your calendar and you'll you'll
see that.

Speaker 4 (01:34:18):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:34:19):
Next year is gonna be a great event because it's
a double OREL Section or national national alr.

Speaker 12 (01:34:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (01:34:26):
I'm gonna drop head over to Paul's stream all right.

Speaker 1 (01:34:31):
Okay, Tim, Yes, when are you getting there?

Speaker 4 (01:34:34):
Man?

Speaker 10 (01:34:35):
I am heading out tomorrow morning.

Speaker 3 (01:34:37):
Okay, literally, I am.

Speaker 18 (01:34:39):
I am doing my U on the way to Huntsville
Podobe nice.

Speaker 3 (01:34:44):
While while I'm.

Speaker 18 (01:34:45):
Heading down, I've already got two parks knock knocked out
for today's UTC day.

Speaker 10 (01:34:48):
That's why it was a few minutes late.

Speaker 18 (01:34:51):
So I got two parks knocked out here my home park,
and there's two entities in there, so I gotta find
some more between here and Huntsville. And I will finish
tomorrow at Monsanto, UH for the first activation of the
of the park visit. So I'll be there, you know,
probably four or five o'clock in the in the afternoon.

Speaker 1 (01:35:10):
Are you staying in a cabin or a campsite?

Speaker 18 (01:35:13):
I have campsite forty seven, so just kind of caddy
corner from you.

Speaker 13 (01:35:17):
Oh yeah, just right next to the bathhouse.

Speaker 18 (01:35:19):
It's just as I'm getting in my advanced stage, I
need to be a little bit closer to the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (01:35:24):
Dude. I'm I'm I'm not advanced years and I like
being right there next to the bathhouse just because I
want to shower. I don't want to I don't want
to walk. I have them out of the shower. But yeah, no, okay,
good good.

Speaker 10 (01:35:36):
So it's to be a little a little different.

Speaker 18 (01:35:38):
Last year they I was over on the other loop
and it was big giant gravel. Oh yeah, in a thing. Yeah,
this is gonna be concrete. So I'm actually I set
my tent up out in the grass.

Speaker 10 (01:35:50):
Or in the dirt area behind it. But nonetheless, it'll
it'll be fun.

Speaker 12 (01:35:54):
We'll have a time.

Speaker 4 (01:35:55):
I know, Mike and Becky you have nice concrete. Bad
Hey you need too.

Speaker 1 (01:36:01):
You're in our sport last year.

Speaker 14 (01:36:02):
I think you're.

Speaker 4 (01:36:04):
I'm in the thirties a pull through site.

Speaker 1 (01:36:06):
Oh that's right.

Speaker 7 (01:36:07):
Burn's the one that got ours his concrete. You can
come share our concrete with us anytime.

Speaker 3 (01:36:13):
Are capsite?

Speaker 24 (01:36:20):
You let us borrow your seventy three hundred last year.

Speaker 9 (01:36:22):
You can borrowers are good?

Speaker 4 (01:36:24):
Yeah, I was responsible for that.

Speaker 24 (01:36:26):
Ye, I appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (01:36:27):
Thank you, Josh.

Speaker 1 (01:36:29):
When you get in there, buddy.

Speaker 19 (01:36:31):
Uh working a half day on Thursday, and I'll drive
down around noon Eastern time the real time zone, so
probably three or four o'clock.

Speaker 8 (01:36:39):
I had to carry that over. You know that, Jay, Oh.

Speaker 4 (01:36:42):
I know.

Speaker 3 (01:36:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:36:43):
I've got t O Freddie Mack and Kyle and Rob
and Frank and Mike and the chat with me. People
who agree with me and know that I'm right.

Speaker 19 (01:36:52):
Texas time is God's time.

Speaker 6 (01:36:56):
I am from the zone.

Speaker 1 (01:36:58):
I know you are, but you migrated and defected and
now you're here.

Speaker 6 (01:37:01):
There is true.

Speaker 5 (01:37:02):
Yeah, came over the wire, Mike.

Speaker 6 (01:37:04):
Mike's a collaborator.

Speaker 8 (01:37:07):
But yeah, three or four o'clock on Thursday.

Speaker 1 (01:37:09):
All right, buddy, Well we should be Yeah, we should
be there. We should be there. I should be there
on Thursday. But yeah, simplex is your friend when you
pull in. Good Jim, what about you.

Speaker 5 (01:37:22):
I'll be getting there Wednesday morning.

Speaker 20 (01:37:24):
I'm heading out of here about seven o'clock, seven thirty
and it's a three hour drive for me.

Speaker 9 (01:37:30):
So nice, we'll you, I love.

Speaker 5 (01:37:33):
I mean, Mike and Becky are closer.

Speaker 3 (01:37:34):
I'm kind of like twenty minutes.

Speaker 1 (01:37:36):
True, that's true.

Speaker 18 (01:37:39):
I have a question for Mike and Becky since they're
still here.

Speaker 3 (01:37:43):
You're not done, Park.

Speaker 12 (01:37:45):
I feel like you were done.

Speaker 1 (01:37:46):
Yeah, yeah, Jim jumping Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:37:50):
No, that that's it.

Speaker 20 (01:37:51):
I'll be I'll be up there Wednesday morning, and my
plan is to pick up t O. Unless I'm doing
something way more interesting than driving all the way back
down to the airport. I mean, an extended stay in
the bathroom would probably be more fun.

Speaker 1 (01:38:05):
But Wednesday night, Wednesday night, dinner you guys, Jim and
t O Wednesday, definitely, Yeah, We've got I got a couple.
I'm meeting up with Jason and Steve from former Gigapart
Steve and former Gigaparts Jason and Steve. So we're gonna
do dinner that night and then breakfast Thursday morning. So

(01:38:29):
you guys are welcome to join us.

Speaker 20 (01:38:30):
All right, Yeah, I think to covered everything else I
would have mentioned about ft I A so good.

Speaker 1 (01:38:38):
Good? All right, Tim, would you have to say.

Speaker 18 (01:38:40):
Well, so, since you guys, I think that's kind of
your home park, is it not? Yeah, okay, has the
Internet gotten any better in the last year?

Speaker 1 (01:38:49):
That's good? Good question.

Speaker 24 (01:38:52):
Not really, I think for some reason, like we'll go
up there and try to work from there during the week,
and sometimes we have perfect internet.

Speaker 1 (01:39:02):
And can do a video calls HD.

Speaker 24 (01:39:05):
Video calls, and sometimes we can't, and we would kind
of conclude it has to do with the spot.

Speaker 8 (01:39:10):
What service are you using?

Speaker 7 (01:39:12):
So I have Verizon and he has a T Mobile base,
so we can kind of check which one works the
best or hot spot to each other's phones, and I'll
still get in the camera window, and you know, I
usually don't have a problem with a video call.

Speaker 1 (01:39:27):
So sounds a lot like sounds a lot like the
entire state of Colorado.

Speaker 20 (01:39:32):
And what's weird is what's weird about that park is
they have cable TV in all the cabins.

Speaker 5 (01:39:38):
Yeah, but why the cable motive in there? Yeah, I
don't I don't get that.

Speaker 20 (01:39:43):
The other thing about the park I did want to mention,
I don't believe they will allow you to make your
reservation more than a year in advance.

Speaker 9 (01:39:52):
They won't let me so it six days.

Speaker 20 (01:39:56):
Yeah, you got to wait until till you're less than
a year before you can make the.

Speaker 1 (01:39:59):
Reserv I would still ask. I'm gonna still ask because
I'm going to be like, Hey, I've only been in
this camp site for about the past four years. You know,
we bring a good group up here. But you're right, though,
I think it's I think it's I think it's technically
one year. I think you're right.

Speaker 10 (01:40:17):
I have a cheat called Benjamin.

Speaker 1 (01:40:21):
Benjamin, don't.

Speaker 8 (01:40:25):
You get it to work?

Speaker 12 (01:40:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:40:27):
I think I know that same cheat code you. I know,
I know, I do, I.

Speaker 1 (01:40:33):
Know, I do. All right, guys, this has been a
fun stream. I appreciate everyone's time tonight. I'm really really
looking forward to this trip. It's always a fun trip always,
so I'm going to a whole day earlier this year
than I have in the past. I'm looking forward to
that as well. Gonna be there Tuesday evening, just gonna
I'm probably gonna just be hanging out at the camp site,

(01:40:53):
listening to the All Star System, listening to Simplex the
whole day on Wednesday, so you guys come by and
see me or call me on the radio and uh
be interesting. I'll be hanging out with t O and
doing his stuff. And if if they're doing a DMR presentation,
I will happily go there and tell them everything they're
doing wrong.

Speaker 5 (01:41:13):
Oh great, hecklers, And we're.

Speaker 1 (01:41:15):
Gonna we're gonna try to get We're gonna try to
get Rob to jump out of an airplane because I mean,
that would just be really damn fun to see that.
I think it would be, you know, I mean, I mean,
Carlos is my height and Rob on the front of him,
and Rob that closer to the satellite. I mean, let's
just like got Comedy Comedy Central written all over it.

Speaker 4 (01:41:33):
So I don't know it's gonna land.

Speaker 12 (01:41:35):
And Carlos is never gonna touch it.

Speaker 8 (01:41:36):
That are like baby Bjorns or.

Speaker 4 (01:41:39):
Something something like that.

Speaker 12 (01:41:42):
Hey, Jason.

Speaker 8 (01:41:43):
This one thing that we haven't covered.

Speaker 1 (01:41:46):
What's that? Uh?

Speaker 8 (01:41:47):
Q and a Sunday morning.

Speaker 1 (01:41:50):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, So we will have a YouTuber's
forum from ten to twelve ten am to twelve pm
Sunday morning in uh one of the forum rooms, don't
remember which one it is. James Ham Radio Adventure guy
would be doing a PODA thing right after us, but
we've done that for the last I don't know, three years,
four years something like that. So it's just basically a

(01:42:12):
Q and A you guys come out, ask questions, talk
to us however you want to do, and we're gonna
have everybody up there at the front, and we're gonna
have a lot of chairs at the front. We expand
the number of chairs at the front we have every year,
which is fun. It's a fun thing to do. So yeah,
forum ten am Sunday morning at the Hamfest. But yeah,

(01:42:34):
so really again, this is a very fun hand Fest.
I look forward to it every year. Glad you guys
are all going to be there. The people who are
there's gonna be a lot more people there than what
was on the live stream tonight. Several people couldn't make
it tonight, so I'm looking forward to seeing all them
as well. Why is my screen? Oh there it is,

(01:42:54):
and just everyone drives safe, fly safe, and we will
see you in Alabama and anywhere from two to five days.
So everyone good, yep, all good. I can't wait seven
three to everybody, have a good night. Bring your yeah,

(01:43:17):
bring your stickers and a chair and a chair and
an awnie. Bring all that to seventy three crop Butt
