Charlie Kirk: Casualty of the Woke War on the West

On September 10th Charlie Kirk was killed in broad daylight on a college campus in Utah by the alleged assassin Tyler Robinson. Another casualty of the woke war on the West. An insidious revolt that many Christians have a hard time wrapping their minds around, which is why this edition of Hank Unplugged is dedicated to summarizing the issue at hand in memorable fashion via the word W–O–K–E.
 
 
 
“W” representing the word Worldview. Students, particularly in the West, are being propagandized by a WOKE WORLDVIEW. Charlie Kirk was committed to dismantling the absurdities of this paradigm in polite and principled public discussion.
 
 
 
“O” will serve to remind us of the word “Oppression.” The woke West seems intractably bent on taking the Marxist oppressor/oppressed maxim to unthinkable extremes. Their objective is to liberate an entire generation from such perceived oppressions as cis-gender normativity, and from the oppression of what is perceived to be arbitrary moral law.
 
 
 
“K” — I use the letter “K” to emblazon upon our collective consciousness that Kids — your kids, my kids, are a primary target of leftist woke revolutionaries. Charlie Kirk recognized this reality and, as such, became the enticing target for an assassin’s bullet.
 
 
 
“E” serves to remind you and me of Extremism. Extremism in Education, Environmentalism, and in Entertainment.
 
 
 
The murder of Charlie Kirk is emblematic of the woke worldview war being waged against you, your children, and against the very soul of Western Civilization. Charlie Kirk, may your memory be eternal.

Well, welcome to another edition of the hand Gun plug Podcast,
a podcast that is deeply committed to equipping God's people
for works as service so that the Body of Christ
might be built up and strengthened. Equip has always been
an important word in the ministry of the Christian Research Institute,

and we are committed to this process of equipping God's
people to think. It's not what to think, but how
to think. Today's podcast is devoted to Charlie Kirk. It's
now been more than a week since he was assassinated

in broad daylight at an outdoor event on a college
campus in Utah. It's been a little more than a
week since he became a statistic of the surging woke
worldview war, a statistic of an uprising against the Judeo

(01:31):
Christian ethic. All of this spells an insidious revolt, a
revolt that many Christians have a really hard time wrapping
their minds around. And therefore I thought to come into
the studio today and talk on Hank Unplugged about some

of the dynamics involved in this assassination. Let me just
begin by summarizing the issue at hand. I always try
to do this in memorable fashion, and I'll do this
today using the word woke. So each one of the

(02:16):
sections of this podcast, I'm going to talk about one
of those letters. I'm going to start with the W,
than the O, than the K, and then the E.
The W represents the word worldview. Students, particularly students in
the West, are being propagandized by a woke worldview, and

Charlie Kirk was singularly committed to dismantling the absurdities of
this paradigm, and to do so in polite and principled
public discussion. The O and woke will serve to remind
us of the word depression. The woke West seems intractably

bent on taking the Marxist oppressor oppressed maxim to unthinkable extremes.
Their objective is to liberate an entire generation from such
perceived oppressions as cis gender normativity, as well as from

(03:29):
the oppression of what is perceived to be arbitrary moral law.
When I talk about the K, I do so to
emblazon upon our collective consciousness that kids, your kids, my

kids are a primary target of leftist woke revolutionaries. Charlie
recognized this reality, and as such he became the enticing
target for an assassin's bullet, and then finally the E

in woke, which serves to remind you and I of extremism,
extremism in education, in environmentalism, in entertainment, and much more.
In some the murder of Charlie Kirk is emblematic of

the woke worldview war. It's a worldview war being waged
against you, against your children, and against the very soul
of Western civilization. So let me take just a few
minutes to flesh out this most critical matter for you. First, again,

(04:56):
I'm going to elaborate on the W in woke, which
will serve to remind you of the worldview of wokeism.
This worldview, the woke worldview, is personified by Charlie Kirk's assassin,
a guy by the name of Tyler Robinson, a twenty

(05:19):
two year old who, prior to firing the bullet that
took Kirk's life, was actually living out the precepts of
wokism with a transgender lover, with a male who was
not only transitioning to female, but with a male who

(05:41):
allegedly believes himself to be a furry. This is kind
of hard to explain if you've never heard it before,
but it's an unconscionable concept, a concept that is often
sanitized as transspeciesism. This is an increasingly popular notion. Hard

(06:03):
to believe, but it is an increasingly popular notion of
not identifying with your own humanity, but rather with the
nature and the proclivities of an animal, of a cat,
or a dog, or you name it. All of this

(06:25):
is too predictably common for woke activists, and it is
likely that Robinson believed Kirk to be the very personification
of America. America and the sense of a country systematically
bigoted in precept and in practice, a country of oppressors

(06:53):
those who oppress the transgender and trans species devotes. So
in the woke worldview, heterosexual white males have been designated
viewed as tyrants, and a primary target of their alleged

(07:16):
tyranny is transgenderism and transspeciesism. In this illusory woke worldview,
it is said that boys can transition into girls and
vice versa, and humans, while humans are believed to be

(07:39):
capable of magically transforming even their biological species. In other words,
the devotees of wokeism attempt to take what God Almighty
has made and then remake it after their own image
and likeness. They engage in top and bottom surgeries, fully

(08:03):
cognizant to the reality that there is much that they
are surgical savageries simply cannot extend to. In fact, let
me say this the dirty little secret. It's veiled in
woke speak, and it is that the pseudo deities of

(08:28):
wokeism are impotent. They're actually impotent to change biological sex.
They can't do it on a cellular level. They're impotent
in that the human brain is a sex type organ,
and that there are in ultrable biological differences in how

(08:52):
male and female brains are wired. Our bodies are not
only organized for physical reproduction, but human beings created in
the image and likeness of God are both physical and metaphysical. Now,
while philosophical naturalists flatly denied the existence of the immaterial soul,

(09:19):
cultural narratives continue to pay lip service to its reality.
And let me give you something that demonstrates this point.
Think for a moment with me. To the highly touted
Olympian superstar Bruce Jenner. Years ago, he told ABC's Diane

(09:42):
Sawyer that he is in soul a woman and Consequently,
he felt obliged to alter his male body to conform
to what he perceived to be his female soul actuality.
There is no such thing as a female soul. The

(10:06):
soul is sexless, and thus it's impossible to be a
man trapped in a female body, or for that matter,
vice versa. But tragically, multiplied millions of students in the
West are being indoctrinated, indoctrinated in an absurd, woke worldview,

(10:29):
a woke worldview that does not conform to reality. Charlie
Kirk was committed to dismantling the absurdities of this worldview,
and to do it in civilized public debate. Millions of
kids in schools worldwide were heeding his voice, and thus

(10:54):
Kirk became a target destined for death. So that's a
little bit about the worldview behind all of this. It's
sort of like looking behind the curtain. Let me move
on to the owen woke, which represents the word oppression.

(11:15):
Charlie Kirk not only injected common sense into the anatomy
of a woke worldview, but hevervently opposed the false oppressed
oppressor dichotomy. And let me flesh that out in the

(11:36):
Marxist revolution, society is divided into two primary categories, bourgeois
their oppressors, and the proletariat, who are designated oppressed bourgeois oppressors.

(11:57):
According to Karl, Marx surreptitiously employed religion to trap the
proletarian masses in an illusory prison of happiness, and thus,
with venomous disdain, he dubbed religion the sigh of the oppressed, creature,

(12:18):
the illusory happiness of the people, not real but illusory
happiness of the people, and then he maliciously demanded that
religion be abolished. Now neo Marxists, in the fashion of
Kirk's Killer, are irretrievably bent on taking this Marxist maxim

(12:43):
to unthinkable extremes. They're bent on liberating an entire generation
from such perceived oppressions. Cis gender normativity a classic example
of what they call oppression, as well as from the

(13:06):
oppression of what is perceived to be arbitrary moral law.
Because belief in God is believed to be the apex
of oppression and thus constitutes the quintessential target of the
woke revolution. Well, little wonder then that radicals such as

(13:27):
Tyler Robinson are actively seeking to remake Western societies in
the image and likeness of their own perverse proclivities. So
I've talked about the woke worldview. I've talked about the
oppression oppressor false dichotomy. It's a Marxist idea. Let me

(13:49):
talk a little bit about the K in the acronym woke,
which represents kids. Charlie Kirk understood better than most. Kids
are the primary target of leftist woke revolutionaries, which is
a chilling reminder of what happened in Cambodia just fifty

(14:14):
years or so ago. I was recently in Cambodia. I
saw the carnage. It's still there in display, so that
we never forget what happened in Cambodia. In chilling similarity
with the tactics of the Khmer Rouge, kids today are
being taught to deny God, to disdain their heritage. School

(14:36):
systems across the West have adopted curriculous, set in stark
opposition to an authentic Christian worldview. And there's so many examples.
You think about the school sponsored drag shows, or the
explicitly sexual library books, or the radicalized reframing of American history,

(15:02):
and that you think about that. That's horrible, but it's
just the tip of a catastrophic iceberg because kids are
being indoctrinated in many ways. They're indoctrinated with the devastating
mythology that they can be born in the wrong body,
and doctors who used to be able to trust doctors,

(15:27):
they're treating this condition with sterilizing drugs and surgeries. The
so called gender affirming care sounds great, but it's not.
It's one of the most devastating assaults on human nature
that one could possibly conceive of. For all intents and purposes,

(15:51):
the so called experts are turning our kids into well,
into experimental rodents, and that in a medical bonanza that
guarantees that these kids will be patients for life. Are

(16:12):
kids kids emblematic of the bleak future of an increasingly
woke West. The last point, the e in woke, represents
the word extremism. If woke revolutionaries revel in anything, they

(16:38):
revel in extremism. Early in the educational process, children are
introduced to, well, let's say, the gender unicorn. This is
a seemingly endearing character that cleverly undermines basic biology in

(17:00):
guiding impressionable kids through a subjective process of sex selection.
And that's not all. Taking these extremist tactics to an
even more alarming level, the NA, the National Education Association,

(17:22):
is overwhelmingly using its constituents as the base for false
narratives on tropes that range from white supremacy to critical
race theory and even the sixteen nineteen Project. This has

(17:45):
been a real blight on our civilization. The sixteen nineteen
project as a reframing of American history, it's a lie,
quite frankly. And adding to the extremism, the American Library
Is Association offers workshops with a diversity, inclusion, and equity theme,

(18:07):
and that includes drag Queen's story times in libraries. Hard
to believe, but it does. And meanwhile, publishers have gotten
in on the zelotry, how by peddling the well the pornographic.
I think a lion Forge a major publisher. They're a

(18:30):
classic case in point. This publisher now markets such disturbing
drivel as gender queer. I'd like to talk about it,
but really the content is so perverse I can't. It's
just too graphic to describe on air. But it's not
just that smut is being peddled educational extremists are bent

(18:57):
on banning classics. Classics ranging from Doctor Zeus His Cat
in the Hat or Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird.
So they're getting rid of classics by adding smut and
adding to the extremism in education. Are the expressions of

(19:18):
extremism in the environmental industry. I think a Congresswoman Alexandria
Kasu Cortez AOC as she's known in popular culture. She's
taken environmental extremism to a whole new level. For example,
in twenty nineteen, she predicts the world is going to

(19:41):
end in twelve years. Why because she believes if we
don't address climate change, it's the end of the globe
or al gore. Now, this is not just some nobody
that no one's heard of. This is a US Vice
president who has turned himself into a global warming guru.

(20:05):
I mean, he's made a cottage industry out of it.
And he's equally extreme, in fact, so extreme that he
designated global warming the single greatest threat that faces our planet.
He promotes on and on and everywhere a documentary it's

(20:27):
called an inconvenient truth. But here's the real fact. He
falsified facts and figures to bolster the convenient lie that
planet Earth would reach a point of no return by
the year twenty sixteen. And if you're keeping track, that's

(20:51):
almost a decade ago now. And yet, in spite of
all of this, or maybe because of all of this,
Ellen Goodman of the Boston Globe takes those skeptical of
such extremist propaganda and puts them on par with Holocaust

(21:12):
deniers Charlie Kirk, allegedly paying on the vanguard of denial
and thus to devotees as such extreme propaganda and expendable threat. Well,
it's not just the educational and environmental industries that are

(21:32):
extreme today. Think about entertainment. Entertainment venues that now also
revel in extremism. I mean, think about this. We're talking
about Disney, the Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon. They've collectively taken woke

(21:57):
narratives to unimaginable extreme. I think of the Disney series
Muppet Babies, which featured one of its characters, a character
named Gonzo, dressing up in a ball gown and then
transforming into what well into Gonzarella. And for its part,

(22:24):
don't forget Cartoon Network, a network bent on providing programming
on apologetically aimed at redefining traditional gender roles for children,
or Nickelodeon, which brazenly featured an animated Pride parade led

(22:49):
by American drag queen an activist Nino West. I remember
reading a book titled Stolen Youth in which Beth and
the Men and Carol Markowitz asked the operative question, how
does the most wholesome, the most family friendly entertainment company,

(23:12):
How does Disney, but love for multiple generations by parents
and kids alike, go so completely off the rails? Well
a generation ago, Alexander Solzhenitsen, who is commenting on the
Marxist Revolution, provided the unforgettable answer. He said that men

(23:38):
have forgotten God. That's why all of this has happened.
As they pondered the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk, the
question arises a question that we should ask ourselves again

(23:58):
and again, Why this and mirrored other wokest catastrophes like it?
Why are they taking place in Western regions? And when
we do, we can answer that question because the answer
is found in an echo of souls Ntsen's words. We

(24:23):
are forgotten our creator, That's why this has happened. That's
why Charlie Kirk, a husband, a father, a fearless defender
of free speech, is now dead. Charlie Kirk stood at
the forefront of the war on Western Wokism, and he

(24:46):
understood better than most that to win the war against
Wokism we must speak openly and honestly about the enemies
of freedom and civil society. He also understood that the
problem is not ultimately fixed at the ballot box. Political
activism does play a necessary role, but it is ultimately insufficient.

(25:12):
Wokism is not magically redeemed by political victories. Irrespective of
the current political shift to the right, illiberal liberalism continues
to hold sway in what I've just talked about in
the educational, entertainment and environmental industries that create, that manipulate,

(25:36):
and that disseminate ideological constructs that are driving Western civilization
in a very very dangerous and deadly direction. As such,
I close by thanking God for people like Charlie Kirk
and his wife, Erica and his organization system challenges to

(26:01):
the cult of Wocism, And of course I also pray
that God will continue to use the ministry of the
Christian research Institute at this anything but Christian moment, use
