Speaker 1 (00:10):
Lady and gentlemen, the show is evolved to start in
nine eight, seven, six, five, four three two one.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Just smart.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
They just start.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
They start there.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
They're not just st there. That's right, ladies and gentlemen,
fans and friends, we are back once again. I am
the custodian of charisma. I am the optimologist of optimism.
She is this open of sarcasm and the sorceress of sasas.
I am Brady. She is Danielle. To I am the ghost,

(01:06):
She is the coat. Together we are the best best
friends in all the land. We are the heal marks.
A happy new year to you all. It is twenty
twenty five, and we are kicking it off the only
way we know how to. Talking about the first raw
of the Netflix era, Danielle, it's on Netflix now, it's wild.

(01:33):
It's twenty twenty five. Now, it's wild. It's twenty twenty
five happening.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
It's a new error.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yes, indeed, what did you think of the premiere?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
So before we get into like matches and for promos
and like all that stuff, just the overall production value
looked so much better.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Everything looked crisp and clean.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I felt like I was watching a movie and not
a live broadcasting like it was very the production value
was top.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Notch from the beginning, like the Rock was the first
person to make an entrance, the way the camera was
shooting him like just a little bit lower center, like
I was kind of like. And I was actually watching
it with my roommate, who is not a wrestling fan,
because of the fact that RAB was moving to Netflix.
He did, in fact, like I didn't ask him to

(02:26):
do it. He was like, Hey, I'm gonna watch wrestling
with you today. So I wonder a how many non
wrestling fans also did that, like or you know, the
quote unquote the casual fan, how many of them decided
to tune in for this big premiere And so yeah,
the way they started to show off where I was
immediately able to notice a lot of those production changes

(02:48):
and a lot of the cinematography changes. So yeah, one
hundred percent welcome changes.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
I thought.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
While I was watching it, I found myself trying to
make like mental notes of Okay, this is a new
change for the Netflix era, and this is a new
change and this is not something they used to do
and blah blah blah, like trying to track all the
Netflix changes.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Yeah, Yeah, I was.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
I wonder are they doing pay per views on Netflix now?
I was trying to figure that out, like.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I believe, I mean, that's an interesting like question, and
I'm not sure. I did kind of assume similar to
the way when we were on Peacock we got the
ples there, h so so I assume it would be
the same thing Netflix. Ples will be available on Netflix,
just like a special event like this.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
I really liked the first episode of World.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
There was just a lot going on, and like it's
a lot, it was a lot of I'm trying to
get people to pop.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I'm I'm mixed about it, only because it was a
good episode of raw. If if you felt that the
premiere episode should be treated kind of like a ple
in the sense of it was a four match card
that was built around you know those matches, right similar Like,
for example, what I mean by that is on a

(04:10):
ple E, if you're not in one of those matches,
there's a very good chance you're not actually gonna be
on the show. Maybe a backstage segment, but for the
most part, you know who you're going to see going
in and that is essentially what we got. That's not
your normal raw experience. Normally, you go in, maybe you
know of three matches, but you'll usually get a lot
more and you know that you'll see the majority of

(04:30):
the raw roster, at least the weekly raw roster being featured.
That's not what we got, So, you know, do I
think that should be rob moving forward? God know, and
on a three and a half show, at three and
a half hour show, if like you're only getting that
that amount of talent on your show, then that'd be
a big problem. And I do kind of question why

(04:54):
they chose to go that way if they knew that
the first night was going to be seen by a
lot of casual fans. I don't necessarily know that starting
off with a pl style show is the way to
appeal to casual fans, to be honest, Rather, the normal
raw might give you more storytelling, more coories.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
A casual fan would like the fact that the Rock
was there. A casual fan would like the fact that Hogan,
I said casual. A casual fan would like that Hogan's there.
A casual fan would like that they were showing different
celebrities in the crowd, like those are certain things right.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Right and to and to your point, uh, my roommate
Will who I was watching it with, like as soon
like they opened with the Rock, and he even said
he was kind of like, oh, yeah, this is who
I came to see. I don't know how serious he
was or if it was said in jest, but I
do kind of think that reflects a bit. You know
immediately you recognize. And so because of the fact that

(05:51):
I was watching it with him and wanted to kind
of catch him up on stuff, took the Rock coming
out as an opportunity to explain to him, Okay, and
so we're gonna see Roman reigns face, so coat telling
you about the bloodline. You know, Sola was his muscle,
and now there's like an insurgents catching him all up.
And so when the first hour is done, he's able
to look at it me like, oh wow, the Rock
and his family just took the first hour because we

(06:14):
got the Rock talking for however long, and then Roman
Rangers Solo took the took the rest of the hour.
So it was and I think and listen if a
casual fan was able to get put up on game
in terms of Roman and Rock, which they did have
Rock address that Roman was his cousin put him over
as the tribal chief. They even had Rock come out
later and you know, afterwards and put him over. So

(06:36):
they definitely did kind of try to start off hot
with people who were watching it, you know, for a
big name like the Rock percent.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
And that's okay.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
I just I kind of agree with you a little
bit with the whole Like, so we're only getting four matches.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
And then but you're trying to appeal to the casual fan.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I'm assuming, and they and they felt the need to
remove the know, the Women's Intercontinental Title Championship, where we
would have been guaranteed to get ourselves a new intercoul champion.
They said that there was there might have been too
much happening on raw already, so they just had to
bump in a week. That to me was kind of

(07:16):
the first sign that I thought Rio Ripley would probably
be winning the championship. I was like, maybe they just
want to do two new champions. They don't want to overshadow,
they don't want to give us too much. So so
I was definitely okay with that. Listen, I think let's
let's let's talk about some of these things. Let's start
off talking light uh, let's talk about the stars that

(07:37):
came out for RAW because because that was fun and
you mentioned it as a way to appeal to the
casual fans, and I enjoy seeing celebrities that are actual
wrestling fans. I don't really like if they start bringing
out the stars of like Stranger Things, who are just
there to promote the new season, I'm kind of just
gonna start rolling my eyes. But when we get to

(07:57):
see Danielle Fachelle, who's a very famous independent wrestling fan, like,
we know, we like, we know.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Eric.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Yeah, not to mention the fact that, like I do
like the tag, said Danielle Michelle, No tag for him. Also,
they didn't mention him at all. And they reference to
us to Panga. If you're referencing us to Panga, do
not ignore that Eric. Eric, he's with Squirrels, is right
next to her, right.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
It was very It was a very weird because I'm
saying that, I'm like, wow, they're not even giving him
an intro.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
This Also, it came it came right after I believe
they followed O'sha Jackson Junior, who shout out to him,
shout out to him for playing the heel bringing a
Lakers Championship belt in clippers or saying fuck y'all.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
I love he has the best wrestling tweets, like he's
my favorite to follow.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
And he's got a great wrestling podcast as well, which
Pat McAfee put over. Yeah, but then you've got then
you show Danielle and Will who also have a podcast,
albeit it's not a wrestling podcast, but they have a podcast.
So once again, just another reason to shout out both
of them, both of them. Yeah, I'm glad. I'm glad
they didn't like completely remove him from the shot. Imagine

(09:18):
like you just have to see like the half of
his face.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Yeah, this poor guy. They're not even giving him a bill.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
I mean, listen the highlight of the stars, and we'll
get into some of the others that we saw, but
the highlight was clearly the I want to say, realistically,
it might have been the third biggest pop of the night,
mister mccaullay culkin.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Oh, I was gonna say McAuley, cul McCully cook, it's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
I love. I mean, Jay whoso got the pop of
the Knight hands down. Oh honestly, Travis Scott might have
gotten the second. The second problem.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
Yeah, people love mccaullay culkin.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
I love culin well, so he did a When I
went to that like stand up years ago, it was
like the Jake the Snake storytelling and they had a
bunch of comedians. McCaulay culkin stood up and told some
wrestling stories and like funny ones too, which I thought was.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Like, Yeah, one of my favorite like videos out there
from an independent wrestling show is when he gets on
the top rope and I forget that. I think somebody
had a ladder and they were holding it. But basically
he got to go in there and like hit somebody
with the paint can on a string, like he hit
him with the home alone classics, which I thought was hilarious.
We like him, as I said, he's a wrestling fan.

(10:32):
We know he's a wrestling fan. He's been a wrestling fan.
There are shots of him at show when he was
like eight or nine. Yea, I thought that was also
as nineties kids, we watched a bit of a downfall
of mccaullay culkin, So we're happy that he fucking is
killing it now.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Shit together.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Also, I don't know if it's just mcaullay culkin alone
that got the pop. I gotta give credit. And this
is where wrestling fans know what to do. He did
the reveal still it's off with a hat that says
popa on it. You're kind of like, who is this?
And then boom, yeah boom like I'm weird, Yeah, weird,
the little the little nod, the kiss to the fans

(11:12):
like it was perfect.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
He always know someone's a wrestling fan.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
By the way, I always forget that wrestling slang isn't
part of normal.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Did you did you kind of like jump when you
heard face and healing that opening video package?

Speaker 5 (11:28):
I did.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
But I was talking to my friend yesterday and we
were talking about ship. I can't remember what we were
talking about, and I was like, oh my god, I
popped so hard and she's like, right, popped, and I
was like, oh, you don't know what that means. And
then I explained it and she's like, oh, that makes
perfect sense.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
I'm like it does. I was like, I just forgot
that you don't know what pop needs.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah, I had to explain Pop. I had to explain
he yeah, exactly over being over.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
He isn't really a wrestling terms, right, He's like an
action from like the.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Forties because like when I Oscar movies, like they're like, oh,
he's a heel, and I'm like.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah, no, I remember like when we were kids that
I would read books that use the term like oh,
you're gonna play the heel or he's such a heel. Yeah.
I think they even said it in like Archie comics too,
but like legit, like I like wrestling definitely owned, like
took ownership of that term. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
There's there's this comic that Ben bought me for my
birthday one year, and it has a glossary. It's a
comic book and it has a glossary of all the
wrestling terms like face, heel, white hot, when something, because
you know, you never hear someone say white hot unless
it's a wrestling term, Like you don't really hear that
other places why why babyface? Yeah, or generating like you

(12:46):
don't know that, which makes sense, it makes sense when
you explain it.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
But yeah, the pop pop could took me off guard.
She was like pop.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
I was like, oh, or Mark out Like I was like,
oh my god, Mark, that's so hard and I'm like, oh, that's.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Not now the thing, Danielle, I gotta ask you a
question because I feel like you would possibly have insider information,
like maybe you would know things I don't know. Maybe
I'm reading into this. I want you to tell me
I'm just looking too into this and I'm just, you know,
a whacking. It's the day after the Golden Globes. Kieran
Colchan and McCaulay culchin are both at raw after. That

(13:19):
is how Kieran Colchin is celebrating his big win. Why
is mcaullay Culkin sitting next to Seth Green? Okay, well,
why wasn't Kieran there? Why wasn't they Why is Kieran's
brothers like all the way and another place in the arena.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Because Kieran's not a wrestling fan. Maybe maybe.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Maybe I wouldn't make my sisters if my sister was
coming over.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Maybe they don't like each other.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Well that's what I'm asking you.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Maybe Seth Green is the one who got the tickets.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Okay, once again you're not answering my question. Do you
think there's beef? Yeah? Probably because mcaulay Culkin a Kieran
talking don't fuck with each other.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
Maybe I like to think that, God damn it.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
That you like to think that I don't want to
think that.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
Why not. I love.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
The fact that they're at the same exact show. They're
both sitting like front row, but they're just nowhere and
near each other. There wasn't enough a single picture of
them together all night.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Well where was where was Kieran sitting?

Speaker 2 (14:29):
No, it was just a different.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Oh you know what it is.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Maybe maybe Kieran's.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Kid doesn't like mcaulay culchin, maybe he doesn't like Seth
Green or something, and his kid didn't want to sit
next to him.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Maybe his kid just wanted to sit somewhere and McCauley
was like, Nah, I'm sitting with Seth Green.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
I have to send you a very funny video about
Kieren mculch person you're in talking about talking about kind
of pushing a little kid that was messing with his daughter.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Yoh, Honestly, the more I read about Karen Kulkan, he
kind of sounds like a slightly lovable asshole, but who
could easily not be lovable at all. He's like, might
just be a prick.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
He's like the nice version of his character on Successions
because his CHARACTERICC Sessions, he's a fucking pricks.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
On wrestling fans that we saw there. I love Vanessa Hudgens.
Vanessa Hudgens wore a shirt that said hot girls like
pro Wrestling. I think that's funny.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
I also wasn't aware that she really was into wrestling
until I think maybe last year. Yeah, maybe I wasn't
on the right the high school musical track at that point,
but like I didn't realize like what a fan she was, which.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
I'm I'm bull for I love it.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Yeah no, And I, like I said, I like it
when celebrities not just come to the show but actually
put wrestling on, you know, like be like, listen, I
love pro wrestling. Pro wrestling spun as fuck. Obviously Stephen
and Mel has been doing that for god knows how long.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
Even h Mel looks weird. He looks like he's been
I don't know, around the block.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
He looks like he shouldn't have shaved, like he scrub
he needs the scrub. And then that was a fresh
shape he shaved like that morning. Yeah, so that was
the decision. That was first.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
I was like, is that Stephen a mill? And then
they say his name and I was like, oh, I
was like, why does he look like that?

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:18):
David rut Of course of course out there. Of course,
you know he's.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
Going brought his fucking belt on that ship.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
He really should have, Honestly, if you do it, especially
in an a read where you know a bunch of
fans are gonna have belts they paid for they never won.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
You won the fucking belt belt, that's your belt.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Who cares? At this point, we're so far from, so
far removed from it that we all have to laugh
at it. It's like you, you just need to bring
that belt everywhere. And the pictures, bro, if he brought
his belt, and he does look great, but if he
brought his belt, bro, they there'd be a line in
the hallway asking for pictures of.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Course where he looks fantastic. He ever since I was five,
he looks fantastic.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Yeah, Uh surprising. I was so surprised. In terms of
all the celebrities. Uh, the one my roommate popped the
hardest for was probably other than the Rock of course,
was probably fluffy really yeah, Gabriellly Glaciers. He loves himself
some fluffy. Yeah. I like Seth Green. I was happy

(17:24):
to see Seth Green there, though I instantly felt bad
for Seth Green when like he was so outshined by macaulay,
like because they panned Seth. Yeah, you know, put to
Panga and Eric in the same shot. But they're like,
here's Seth and then here's Papa. Oh, who's Papa Boom?
Kevin McAllister.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
They didn't even put Seth's wife in the picture. How insulting. Yeah,
in the nerd community like give her some time to shine.
I love her, But yeah, they were just like, we're
gonna give you two separate. It's okay, it's okay.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
The king of walle Mania waially she was in the house.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Of course he was.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
We we have to, we have to. We felt we
definitely failed not doing it when he was in New York.
But I forget what we were going to. We were
going to like another wrestling show because all we do
show is poorly. Yeah, we need to go to wallet Mania. Yeah,
let's talk about the celebrity that. Let's talk about Travis

(18:21):
Scott when he comes out, because I didn't know what
the fuck was going on, Like his song hits, everyone's
going crazy. My roommates freaking out also, and I see
him with a fat ass joint in one hand, an
unopened beer or spiked Seltzer of sorts in any other
he honestly looked like he didn't know where the fuck

(18:43):
he was or how he got there. I believe he
was holding the Hardcore Championship and he's just standing there,
and I am laughing my ass off because I'm like,
what is happening? He's not performing? Is he just having
an entrance? What's going on? And then of course jay
Usso's music hits and boom, the arena goes fucking co crazy.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
I love when my.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Almost middle aged white self doesn't recognize people right away.
So when they showed him, I'm like, who is that?
I was like, yeah, I was like, I have no
idea what which wrestler that is? I'm I mean, which
rapper that is?

Speaker 2 (19:18):
I was like who is that?

Speaker 3 (19:19):
And then he's and then they were like Travis Scott.
I'm like, oh, okay, I know who that is. But
if you put on one of his songs, I have
no idea.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Bro him puffing yeah during during the entrance, I had
me dead. I was dying. I could not believe it,
And especially with jay Uso, who's kind of like we
all know, he likes to indulge. He doesn't like wear
it on his shirt like Matt Riddle or anything like that.
But you know, it's not a good kept secret at all.

(19:50):
So when it comes when when that's happening, like right
next to Jay, it's just so funny. And my favorite
part of the press conference later was Triple H when
he was talking about he He's like, listen, I just
also want to I want to thank Jay and give
him respect for just saying no, he's He's like that
could have gone that could have gone the wrong way

(20:11):
very easily.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
But I think I do think with the Netflix transferring,
I think they need to spruce up, especially being twenty
twenty five. I think they need to vet questions better.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
In the press conference. I feel like the press.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
Conference gets a little stupid, like if you're gonna be
k fabe k fabe, there needs to be like like, right,
if you're gonna be k fabe only k fabe questions,
if it's gonna be shoot, we got like you gotta
you gotta pick one or the other.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Like I don't know if we're gonna see a difference
in that. Only because the press conferences don't appear at
least this one wasn't on Netflix. The press conference was
on YouTube. Yeah, same as they've always done it, so
I don't really expect. I do agree though we've been
saying that ever since, Like it's a.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Last year was the big one last year. When we
were watching it after, we were like, this is a mess.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Right, and like we both work production like and been
involved with like many Q and a's and seeing how
it's supposed to be done, like it's so easy, it's
not fucking difficult, Like.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Who's these questions before they do they even vet the questions.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
That's there's no way with the amount of with the
amount of questions we've had, there's no way that they
do either or A A W and and w W.
Everybodys a W is a lost fucking cause because Tony
Khan insists on sitting there for the entire like everyone
comes and sits next to him, and then people will

(21:37):
still ask Tony questions when it like like despite no
matter what, who's somebody else will come there still asking
Tony questions and it's like, nah, bro, that's why I
like how Triple H does it. Everyone else gets their time,
Triple H comes at the end, you have questions for
me here I am I'm to talk to you first
and then you can ask your questions. Sounds very professional, right, exactly.

(21:58):
So like as long as Tony he insists on sitting
next to the people for every fucking time and especially,
it would be one thing if Tony was there for
moderation purposes. But we've watched him sit next to see
him punk as he goes fucking crazy and says, god knows,
you know, whatever the fuck he feels like Tony kind
just kind of sits there apologizing or whatever.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
So right or someone like being like, do you think
it was the right call to have them win?

Speaker 2 (22:23):
That was so dumb so sloppy? Did you did you
do you think about making an audible during the match
while fucking Heatley and swear Ever sitting.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
Right next to him with the championship And it's like
what and while they were talking.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
In yeah, yeah, so dumb, so dumb. But and but
Jay Usso also in his in his Raw Talk interview
with Biggie and Wade Barrett, they were joking about it
and he was like, I smelled it. I didn't inhale it.
I smelled it, I didn't inhal it. He's like, I

(22:58):
thought I had to go to work. He's like, and
then they were like, you know, because the kids were there.
They were like, well, hopefully you were blowing it away
from the kids. He's like, now I was blowing it
towards me. He bro let's he's silly, but let's talk
about this. Jay Husso's over as fuck, like like I

(23:19):
had to explain, like, you know, because he's talking about
was like, well, listen, jay, your boy j Uso is
with the Demi guy, Travis Scott. Whatever. I'm like, listen,
Travis Scott's awesome. He got a big pop two. But
every single thing you're hearing that happened after jay USO's
music hit. This is all for j This has nothing
to do with Travis. This would be the exact same thing.

(23:40):
Jay Uso started the year off with one of the
best entrances. I think we're gonna see all fucking year,
possibly possibly we end this year. It is the best
entrant the entrance because the energy was unmatched. This tas
added to it.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
This also shows that how important entrance music is.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
It's so important to get the crowd behind you and
stuff because stuff with it's sounds silly, but stuff where
jay Uso lacks it makes up for in his entrance
because everybody can't wait for that entrance and to be
a part of that entrance and to do all this
stuff like Finn Balor's entrance when he just lifts his
arms up in the air.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
It's a big thing.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
These little and like the Jus one. Don't get me wrong,
it's a it's a bop. But at the same time,
being in the crowd and being able to participate in
the entrance, Yeah, that's what makes it fun.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
His entrance, his entrance and especially you know, this is
I believe the second rapper they've chosen to involve. I
think Lil Wayne was the first. But his entrance does
feel like a concert. Yeah, of course, like everyone everyone's up,
the hands are up people. I think I do believe
the casual fan when you're watching this, you probably at

(24:47):
first thought that the huh huh huh was like a
part of the song. No, the crowd's fucking ad libbing
the entire fucking song. They're yeating, their their living there hiding,
they're putting their hands in the air. Nobody's sitting down.
Everyone's losing their fucking minds. The camera pans were fantastic,

(25:08):
like really taking us there in the middle of the ground.
Absolutely at some points where you could see Travis Scott
literally looking shook like he couldn't believe what was happening
around him. You could see Jay Uso kind of directing
him like yo, here we go, Okay, stop, hold up,
wait for it, let's yeat. And then like when when
when those yeats start, like it's just fire, it's a

(25:30):
shot of adrenaline into the entire areas, of course.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
And what makes me so happy about this is, I know,
like a lot of times, because the usos were built
up together for such a long time and probably will
go down as one of the greatest tag teams of
all time. You get nervous when you were if not
they when they were separated, separating people were nervous because
they're like, are they going to be able to be
okay as just you know, just one USO, you know,

(25:54):
And this just shows yes, one hundred percent because everyone
is behind jay Uso, everyone behind him.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Yeah. No, They've done a fantastic job of building it.
I do worry, and this is another conversation for another day.
I do hope they start doing something with Jimmy individualistically
because I feel like they didn't like Jimmy so came back.
That was big return for revenge, but immediately he's kind
of like Roman's new right hand man, and then boom,

(26:23):
now we just see him with Jay all the time.
Jay's still very much doing his own thing. Jimmy doesn't
feel separate. I almost feel like the only logical way
they do this is we get another Jimmy so hee'l turn,
possibly so that they can rematch it at WrestleMania again.
Maybe they want to run that one back and well, listen,

(26:45):
once I once we learned, like very shortly after Mania,
how many injuries Jimmy us just had at the time
of that match. I gotta be honest, like that's gotta
be and like, if you go back and think how
slow they were and like it seemed almost awkward certain points,
guarantee you that guy was fucking hurting and didn't want

(27:06):
to miss Manie, so he probably nobody probably knew except
maybe Jay. So so yeah, I wouldn't mind them running
that back and giving everyone what we were, what we
really thought we were gonna get from that. But at
the same time, I'd love to see Jimmy make it
on his own as a babyface singles because he was
set up for that the second solo attacks him and

(27:27):
that so so I hope we get more from Jimmy,
But right now for Jay, watching him just become like
literally the clearest day number one babyface on the show,
if not the fucking company, I don't care that Cochey
roads as the championship. Jay Huso is way more loved
right now, Like he's just is like super over and

(27:47):
seeing him get the.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
Yeah, He's also like relatable.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
He's like that Doofy friend who's like super fun and
always want He kind of reminds me of you, Like
you're that friend that's like always down to party, always
gonna have good time, always gonna play the good music,
always gonna have good bops. Like yeah, oh.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Stop, he saved that real nice. I mean that like
you started with Doofy. You started with.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
A chilly friend, like you definitely are, but like.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Goofy, I'm not Doofy get that ship, right? I dare you?
How dare you sure?

Speaker 3 (28:24):
But you know, like when you go to a party,
like if you're going to a place where they're playing music,
Brady's coming, because you have to have Brady come, because
Brady's gonna get everybody riled up and he's gonna dance
to his own names.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
Also, there's something relatable to him because you can tell
he never really I don't think he really actually thought
he would get past the tag team. I don't know
if he knew it was going to be, if it
was going to be him and his brother the entire Yeah,
I think. And the truth is, like tag team wrestlers,

(28:58):
especially like brothers, especially actually twins, it is hard for
them to actually get a singles push and be separated
and actually rise up the ranks, such as like an
Edge or a Jeff Hardy. I mean, we're talking very
rare when we talk about true tag teams birthing single stars,
like the Miz is still trying to get back, you
know what I mean, Like it's con struggles. But yeah,

(29:22):
watching Jay do It get the big win over Drew McIntyre,
love watching him get some momentum going into the Royal Rumble.
He should be Final four. He should be Final four.
I'd love to say that. I realistically think he has
a shot of winning the Royal Rumble. Sadly I don't.
It's nothing against him I just don't think he's main
eventing this year. Like I said, I think there's a
better chance of him facing like a Jimmy Usso, or

(29:44):
even him versus like Solo or Jacob something like that. Hell,
possibly the three of them, maybe Jacob, Solo and Tama
versus Jimmy Jay and Sammy at Wrestlemandy if they stretch
this out. I don't know. It's with Roman beating So.
With Roman beating So, and let's talk about that. The
opening match Tribal Combat for the Ulafia, Roman reigns taken out,

(30:10):
so finally getting his ula follow back, finally being acknowledged
as the tribal chief. Actually, I'm sorry, before we talk
about let's talk about the Rock because he's getting well.
Because Rock then comes out after Roman wins, right acknowledges him.
Rock actually acknowledged him beforehand. And I want to get
your opinions on this, because I thought a lot of

(30:31):
people were talking about, Wow, the Rocks just all of
a sudden, ignoring everything he did. He's calling himself the
final Boss, but he's not the Final Boss. I thought
it was also an interesting choice because if we didn't
see the Rock, right, let's say the Rock doesn't open
first thing, we hear Solo's music and we get that
match immediately. I was really in the back of my mind,

(30:53):
I thought there was a good chance the Rock interferes
and costs. So I'm sorry Roman the match.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
I was thinking that too.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Yeah, and kind of kind of reveals that he was
actually behind the entire time exactly. And then the Rock
like said, you know, I I acknowledge Roman reigns. He
is the tribal chief, and I'm kind of thinking, all right,
maybe he's setting us up for the swerve. But the
fact that he's also laughing and joking with Cody Rhodes,

(31:24):
you know, just right there, there's there's zero eggs Cody
Rose even pretending to mean mug him. It just to
me screams, Okay, maybe Rock doesn't have a WrestleMania match.
He's not coming back for that, so he's just the
CEO or whatever his position.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
A lot of people are hoping tribal chief versus like
head of the table ship, and I'm just like, does
he called himself final final Boss?

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (31:49):
No?

Speaker 2 (31:49):
I thought something else, Well, he's also the high Chief also,
But the truth is, and maybe they go with that,
but but realistically Roman reigns is actually a high chief
as well. Huh Yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
Sometimes I feel like when The Rock comes out and
does this stuff and has like and the the Samoan
family get together and then Cody comes out, I feel
like Cody looks like a chump.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Wait, Cody didn't come out? What are we talking about?

Speaker 1 (32:23):
No?

Speaker 3 (32:23):
Like when when Cody's in that whole thing of like
The Rock talking about him and stuff like Cody, Cody
was in the front row, which I also thought was
fucking weird.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
Is our champion in the front row for this?

Speaker 3 (32:34):
I feel like it's very chumpy, Like it makes him
look like a chump, like we've been waiting for him
to do. And I don't know if that's purposely or
I don't know. It just rubs me the wrong way
sometimes because we all waited so long for Cody to
be champ that sometimes I feel like the storylines they
put him in, even leading up to the one recently,
the the Mania recently where The Rock and it became

(32:57):
a tag like that was weird to me.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I don't know. Ever since, ever since The Rock got
involved with the with TKO. Yeah, yeah, clearly, like every
decision being made that involves the Rock being on screen
has been puzzling, to say the least. Uh, it screams
a bit of self serving or a bit of at
the very least, just that swayed perspective of the fans

(33:23):
probably want to see me, so let's do this. The
prayers probably want to see me face this person, so
let's do this. And then you get there and realize, oh,
wait a minute, maybe they didn't actually need me. But
we don't even know if he's gotten to that point
of realization yet. So yeah, there's definitely that. And you know,
you we've always heard the rumors, the Hollywood rumors about
Rock and control in terms of movies and stuff like that.

(33:45):
So so now we're possibly getting that. And it's so
funny because we never actually heard that from him and wrestling.
We always heard that about Triple H. Triple H had
this sway, Triple H and Tean Michaels are trying to
bury the Rock, this and that, you know, and we
never really heard about the Rock actually having sway when
he was on the up and comer. Then, you know,

(34:08):
when he became the Rock boom, of course, it was
a different story. But so interesting now that it's switched
a bit where now the Rock can call the shots.
We don't know who's got the louder voice in the boardroom.
I would assume it kind of is the Rock over
Triple H at this point, with the way decisions have
been made and then unmade and just, you know, as

(34:28):
you said, pretty fucking weird some of them.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
Yeah, it just it rubs me the wrong way a lot.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
I know, it's no I get it, and I feel
like having him be in LA for the first ron Netflix.
Let's be real. We knew that was gonna happen. It
had to happen, and it is what it is, and
it's fine. I do think it went on a little long,
but once again, we got to know that this was
a show that was going to try, at least a

(34:55):
little bit to appeal to casuals while also appealing to
wrestling fans with the pl e style format. So you
gotta give him the Rock, as you said, gotta give
him John Cena. I definitely, you know, so I get it.
Let's talk about John Cena. I thought the beginning was
a little slow in him saying thank you like seventeen times,

(35:17):
but it's probably emotional. I guess you know, this is
the last time he'll be in that arena as a rest.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Of yeah, yeah, it was a little slow, and I
know he was trying to get you know, get the
crowd going, but yeah, it did take a little bit
of you.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
Know, right and and yeah, and so I did enjoy
where he went with it, where at first I thought
he was kind of pulling a Cody Rhods in aw
where he says, listen, I know everyone wants to see
me get seventeen, but I'm just not even I will
not be challenging for the title while I'm here, which

(35:54):
I thought would have been interesting. I don't know how
much I would have liked it, but it would have
been interesting. But then for him to take that and
be like, listen, I just haven't deserved it. Did you?
Was it just me? Or were you shocked by the
amount of days he said that number that he said
had been since his last win. I don't know the
exact number, but I think it was like over it

(36:15):
was more than twenty three hundred days. I know that much.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
Yeah, that's a lot.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
I mean, I guess it makes sense because I mean,
if he had.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
A single one he said, I can't remember what he said.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
I'm pretty sure he said, it's been twenty three hundred
and whatever days since I last won a match.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
But didn't he have a match with Our Truth, Like
didn our Truth come out and helped like he helped
our Truth or technically maybe.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
So maybe he did mean single or maybe was it
last time I think he said last time I want
to match? Let's see, I do. I do remember something
with Sina and Truth and yeah, Seena being like the
mystery partner and that af they're raw, they must have
won that match. So maybe maybe you're right. Maybe he
was talking about last time I want a singles man,

(37:02):
But still that is a long time. Okay, So Johnson's
last singles win came back in twenty eighteen.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
That's a long time.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Yeah, So I liked how he was explaining, Listen, I
haven't won a match and he could have and maybe
he will next time. Like actually, list like Austin Theory
beat me solo, soakoa beat me, like you know, all
these people had beat me, so I can't challenge for
the title. But then, of course that takes us to
the fact that he's like, if only there was a

(37:32):
lottery ticket that I could win if only there was
some way that anyone had a shot.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
What a plug to his movie, to that movie with
a lottery ticket, I was like, doesn't have forever plugin?

Speaker 4 (37:45):
Get out of here, Get out of here.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
It's funny because I thought lottery ticket was such a
brilliant way to refer to the royal move.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
But now, yeah, it's a weird world where we live
in where John Cena will be entering the Royal rumble,
probably to try to win, where it's not just a
legend coming into the royal role.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Right, No, it's I truly believe, like the two best chances,
the two biggest front runners for Royal will winner. I
truly believe the winner is gonna be either Johnson or Sampunk.
And it's twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
Did not have that on my Bengo card Man right.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Last week, this time last year, I was predicting twenty
twenty five's when it was gonna be bron breaker.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
I'm well, yeah, I mean, the clear correct choice should
be our truth, like ar truth is, Our Truth is
gonna win. And then he's gonna challenge John Cena for
the championship.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
He's gonna bring out this He's gonna say he wants
the Spinner belt. He's because I wanted nothing spins.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
Imagine, but imagine John Cena wins.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
My favorite thing is our truth posted a picture of
him and The Rock back stage, saying I grew up
watching my childhood hero John Cena battle the Rock and
I can't believe I finally got to meet him. Meanwhile,
he had a full ass feud with this man.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
He's like frighting Archie, doesn't give a shit. He just
goes with it. I love it, I love everything about it. Yeah,
gonna be wild this year. It's gonna be wild.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
Now. The question is and and Big Ee was kind
of actually dressing this in his h I think post
show whatever. But because they were trying to predict when
Scena comes out, and they're like, well, it's kind of
a traditional scene of move for him to just come
out at like number one and just try to run
the gauntlet. But also, I mean, we're not talking about

(39:45):
young Sena anymore. He's kind of old. He's not in practice.
He might he wade. Barrett was like, if Cena doesn't
come in at twenty five or lower, he has no shot.
So I wonder if we do get the kind of
predictable scena at twenty nine type of thing.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
Punk come out last year, late twenty something. I want
to say, like, remember we were like, he can't go
from one. I'm gonna look it up right now because.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
I have it. Yeah, I don't remember. I remember the
first and two were Jay Whu's and Jimmy.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
So we can Punk come out twenty seven Sanel It.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Was a twenty something, Yeah, but he had to.

Speaker 4 (40:23):
He had like you have to come out later work.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
Exactly, and we didn't we think we He hurt himself
in the Royal Rumble too.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
He did hurt himself in the Royal Rumble, didn't he?

Speaker 2 (40:33):
He did, right, I didn't imagine that, Yeah, like an
old man.

Speaker 3 (40:39):
The only thing I like about seam Punk is he's
a feminist and he loves his ugly dog Larry, like
literally my favorite qualities about Sam Bunk.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
I loved the fact that at the press conference he
he does all the questions Byron Sackson's like, okay, guys,
that's all the time seampunk has and Seampunk's like, we
are not ending it with that sausage fest of a
bunch of questions. I didn't hear from one woman here,
No give me a question, right, So yeah, it definitely
shouts to see him punk for for being a miserable

(41:10):
not he's such exactly, he's such a but listen to
his credit. As you said, the old man, but the
old Man made evented raw put on. I thought a
very good match with Seth Rollins.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
That's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
I was totally last.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
I was totally immersed in this match, and you know
how I feel aboutee him punk and I couldn't get
over how much I was enjoying the match. I also
love the laying down and doing the count and then
the leg just coming up, or like when Kevin Owens
put his finger with Jerk.

Speaker 4 (41:38):
I that's one of my favorite things.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
I love that I popped. I popped so much for
and you mentioned Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens didn't get involved
this match, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
No, I just meant the Kevin Owens Jericho match in
Oh yes, yes, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 4 (41:57):
That's why I was. I was just giving examples the
things that I like.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
You're saying that that reminds me of how much I
popped when Kevin Owens got involved in Roman Versus Solo.
Because I've been waiting for it because it's like Kevin
Owens goes after everybody for talking to Roman, but I
feel like he hasn't actually gone after Roman in a
long ass time. So when he showed up, I was
so happy, like I popped.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
Also, the thing I love about Kevin Owens is most
likely Kevin Owens isn't gonna take the belt from Cody.

Speaker 4 (42:28):
He wasn't gonna take the the belt.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
He should go for the record Cody, but.

Speaker 4 (42:36):
He's not gonna take it away from Roman.

Speaker 3 (42:38):
But at that time, but it's believable if he does.
That's what I love about it, Like nobody would be upset.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
And every time they put him in a feud where
his job is really you know, just to you know,
kind of be a challenger for the champion champions gonna
go over, he always will not just convince you that
he could win, convince you that he should win. Yeah,
Like even when he was feuding with Roman, I remember
we bought in huge. We were like, naw, bro, Kevin

(43:08):
Owens should Like Kevin Owens really should. He got himself over.
He got he helped get the story even more over
like and then with Cody, he's done it again, I
really think Kevin Owens should beat Cody Rhodes for the
championship like I do.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
I one hundred percent agree. And also you said Kevin
Owen's job is to be a challenger. I think Kevin
Owens's job with these championships is to.

Speaker 4 (43:32):
Be an obstacle. He's always an obstacle for them.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
Well, when he's trying, he always is getting in the
way of them doing it. And that's what makes it
so great too. He's like he like you said, he
makes it believable that he can be.

Speaker 4 (43:46):
The championship champion, and he should be the champion.

Speaker 3 (43:49):
But if he's not going, he's gonna make it very
difficult for you to win matches. He's gonna make your
life miserable because you are the champion, because he knows
that should be on his shoulder.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
And also it's it's just frustrating, slightly frustrating. It's easy
to not be frustrated because he's putting on such amazing performances.
He's in big spotlights, and especially now if leading into
the Royal Rumble, we actually finally are getting Kevin Owens
and Roman Reigns putting their hands on each other. I mean,
I don't know if I'm you know, wishing on a

(44:19):
star here or Roman Reigns versus Kevin Owens WrestleMania. Maybe
I mean, I mean who has Roman or who's been
feuding with Roman Reigns for longer than Kevin Owens if
you think about it, Kevin Owens hasn't stopped dating this
motherfucker in years and being.

Speaker 4 (44:37):
So believable at he could possibly win. That's the thing.

Speaker 3 (44:41):
You're always like, Nah, Kevin Owens isn't gonna win, But
you're like, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did win.

Speaker 4 (44:47):
That's always the thing. It's not like someone coming out
here and you being like, yeah, he's not winning.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
But he's gonna put on a good show because Kevin
Owens does all of it.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
While we're back on this match, let's actually talk about
a little bit of the roundmifications only cause Solo did lose.
This is a big loss for Solo. This is a
big loss for the New bloodline. He does not have theala.
The rules of the tribal combat were that Roman Reigns
is now the tribal chief. Solo hast to give it up.
I do wonder what that means now, as we are

(45:17):
entering the Netflix era, I do believe we're getting some
roster switcher us some I don't know if they're fusing rosters,
if you know. I know Netflix wants Romans, so they're
probably gonna get him. Solo might stay on SmackDown and
maybe the new bloodline. I assume they'll get a new name.
Maybe just terrorizes them away from the family. Does Solo

(45:39):
try to do Solo make a really big royal rumble,
you know, a good performance of the royal rumble to
actually try to get them and really start to start
going over. After the championship, because once again, Roman Rains
wasn't the tribal chief because he had the lafala. He
became tribal chief when he became champion. Solo becomes champion,
he becomes chief again, right yeah?

Speaker 4 (46:02):
Is that how it works?

Speaker 2 (46:03):
I mean, you know, you got an argument to it.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
Is it a is it a.

Speaker 4 (46:10):
A pass on of magic power?

Speaker 2 (46:11):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (46:12):
Is it how it works? I don't know that.

Speaker 2 (46:14):
I mean, once again, right now, Roman reigns is the
tribal chief, but he's not champion, And I feel like
that is a thing like that, should you know what
I mean, like, and and that's why we needed the
physical representation that came in the form of the ula
then actually fighting for something real, because otherwise that they're
just fretting over the title of tribal Chief while neither
of them have a belt anymore, you know, so they

(46:36):
had to go.

Speaker 4 (46:37):
Sound silly without a title like Don't get.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
Me wrong, I think everyone online is saying Solo got
buried as a fucking idiot, but I don't think no,
not at all. He was in the ring with the
top guy in the company, if not the industry big match,
opening match of the of the you know, of the
biggest show, possibly the biggest show of the year, definitely

(47:04):
one of the biggest shows of all time for WWB.
The first match was him versus Roman, and it was
a great match. I think Solo did fantastic. One hundred
rose to the occasion one hundred percent, looked believable, Those
near falls were believable. Those near falls had me I truly,

(47:27):
especially after Kevin Owens interference. I really thought Solo was
gonna do it, and I thought Kevin Owens helping him,
Kevin Owens costing Roman reigns the title of tribal chief
would have been so poetic, would have been so beautiful,
And somehow I didn't see it coming. Kevin Owens doesn't

(47:47):
shut up about hating Roman reigns, and yet I didn't
see him interfering in the match coming. I think that's
why I popped so big. But yes, Solo to me
really showed that he belongs. He belongs in main events,
He belongs where he is in terms of leading a stable.

(48:08):
I assume that stable is still together. Granted they may like.
I'm curious if they do actually decide to try to
give us reasons or you know, as to why his
group is continuing to follow him now because he he
did lose, He let them down, he lost to follow.

(48:29):
He is no longer the tribal chief. Now. Does he
come up with a new nickname, a new title for himself?
Does the stable come up with a new name. I
predict destruction in their future. I think they're gonna have
to heat the group up again fast, because we've seen
them recently lose titles, and now we've seen him. We've
seen them lose you know, tag team actions against the

(48:52):
og bloodline, and now we've seen him lose the tribal combat,
So a lot of losing for Bloodline two point zero,
and the only real thing we've ever seen them actually
accomplished has been ass kickings, you know what I mean. Like,
so I feel like that'll probably be how they hate
them up. I don't know who gets the ass whippings,
and I don't know why. I kind of do feel

(49:14):
like the families will have to split now though, Like
I think Solo will stay away from Roman at least
for now. And and as I was leading to her
alluding to earlier, if a brand split, you know, if
if that's how they do it, where they just get
them on different shows, I'm very curious. And I don't
believe that, uh, that Solo is in trouble, you know,

(49:38):
in any way, but I do believe that this is,
you know, this is a big turning point for him.
WWE has to do something with them to make the
fans invest in care because and and keep him relevant
and keep up there because he has been involved in

(49:58):
one of the top programs for a while now, wrestling
with Roman, wrestling with Cody, wrestling with the top guys.
Now that he's done with Roman, who, Solo Who, Jacob
targets next says a lot about where they're going. Do
they become just another mid card stable God, I hope not.

(50:20):
I don't think that will happen, even if that's the
plan for now, because Jacob Battou is so good and
as I said, I was very impressed by what Solo
did in that match. Also, love that they're letting Jacob
talk more now, love that Jacob Patu. Just by the way,
for the record, all you listeners, Danielle had to go

(50:41):
for a way. I don't want you to think that
she's just sitting here begging to speak and I just
haven't shut. Danielle's finally back, daniel I've been ran thinking
about how good I thought Solo did in the match.
I thought he belonged.

Speaker 3 (50:57):
I came in on the Jacob thing and I was like,
for a while, didn't know Jacob could talk.

Speaker 2 (51:02):
Jacob such a good talker.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
I meant talk is like, actually speak right, not even
just doing a promo.

Speaker 4 (51:10):
Sorry, I ran outside is so.

Speaker 2 (51:11):
Cold, Yeah no, it's so brick so brick out there.
Probably feels like it's six degrees. Yeah, yeah, So I
do think it's I do think we're gonna it's it's
depending on what they do with Solo, who they attack,
who they go after, who they're challenging, what the goals
are for this new group. Will let us know where

(51:32):
these guys are going in twenty twenty five, because I
hope they're able to feel as meaningful as they did
when they were taking out their family members and proclaiming
tribal dominance.

Speaker 4 (51:43):
Right right, I am. I think Solo.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
I also think Solo is doing it. It's bedboarding, But
I think Solo's doing what he is supposed to be doing,
you know what I mean. He's generating. He I don't
think he got buried. I think he did a fantastic job.
He's doing a fantastic job at what he's supposed to.

Speaker 4 (52:00):
Be doing with this feud. He's not supposed to be just.

Speaker 3 (52:03):
Coming in and doing all this dominant and doing all
this stuff. He's supposed to be doing this generating. He
making us not like him and battling for respect, if
you will. So, I think he's doing great.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
I think, and I do. I do believe that. I
do believe that in the story, it's it's he needed
to lose, because the truth is the story they've been
telling us is that Solo didn't he was in line.
Solo was next in line, but he didn't wait his turn.
He got too over zealousy and he decided to get

(52:35):
too close to the sun when he wasn't ready yet.
And so Roman and the Wise Man and everyone in
the og Bloodlamb had to kind of smack him down
a little bit and say, listen, little brother, you're not
there yet. You were supposed to be next in line.
You might be next one day, but not yet. Not
right now? What am I doing? Am I still talking?

(53:01):
Should I keep talking? What happened? Can I talk? I'm
just gonna keep talking. Are we good? I have no
idea what Danielle is doing right now, but I'm gonna
keep talking because we are live on YouTube, So either way,
I will keep addressing you guys while Danielle confuses the

(53:23):
hell out of me. Are you good? She's not good?

Speaker 1 (53:27):
People?

Speaker 2 (53:27):
All right? So yeah, once again, I really had been
impressed with everything with this match. Let's get into or
was saying with the main event we were talking about
CM punk and Seth Rollins. This match was unreal. This
match was so good going back to this one and

(53:48):
it was amazing. CM Punk I think when he's healthy,
and I mean that physically, I mean that mentally, I
mean that in every way. When cmpunk is healthy, he
is able to tap into the cmpunk that was at
one point the best wrestler in the world. I don't

(54:09):
know if he's got that in him at all times,
but Cmpunk's got that dog in him, and he brought
it out for Seth Rollins. And I guess, because of
where I believe the direction for cmpunk is, he had
to win this. I think, as I said, I think
Sampunk's got a real good shot of winning the Royal Rumble.
I think there's a good chance they have his main

(54:30):
event WrestleMania, even if in the press conference he downplayed
the notion that he has the same you know, back
before he left WWW, it was almost like he felt
he needed to main event. That was the last thing
left on his bucket list. I deserve it, I've never
done it. I need to do it. Ten years later,
he's kind of giving us the impression that, oh, you know,

(54:53):
I you know, I'm happy with my career. If it happens,
it happens, whatever. But I think he's on the road
to it right now, So I guess Sam Punk had
to win this one. It does. I feel bad because
Seth Rollins once again just I feel like he keeps
getting relegated to this position where his job is to
put the people over that are you know, that are

(55:13):
passing him by again and again and again.

Speaker 3 (55:18):
Things that I feel very interested and passionately about with
Seth Rollins and Sampunk's feud is seth Rollens.

Speaker 4 (55:26):
Is cm Punk.

Speaker 3 (55:29):
I feel like he just doesn't like Sampunk because they're
the same fucking person.

Speaker 4 (55:33):
In real life. Like it's like you're the same person.
That's why you don't like each other.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
And the truth is if Seth Rollins did what Sampunk
did and Seth Rollins left and Sam Punk stayed and
with like Sampunk will be doing exactly what seth rons
did also. I but but yeah, this match definitely delivered
from what they're from their foot promo segment that was
the week prior they brought it down. It's it's so

(56:01):
funny this and people are saying that this show had
a WrestleMania feel to it, and I agree in the
smallest of ways, only in that it did feel like
we were closing a lot of chapters tonight and you
don't always get that other than WrestleMania during the year
where you really feel like like I feel like Solo
and Roman might actually be done with each other. Uh.

(56:22):
CM Punk kind of said me and Seth Rollins will
never be done, but for now, I do kind of
feel like this ended what we were getting with CM
Punk and Seth Rollins, and once again Sampunk's on top.
Sampunk beat Drew, he beat Seth. I'm really like, I
just I think Sampunk is facing Gunther WrestleMania. I think
that's the match. And unfortunately, while I thought the Gunther

(56:45):
promo that we got from him was fantastic, the video
package they did anyway, I really don't think they Gunther
was way hotter before he became champion, Like somehow he's
cooled down and I don't really know why. Maybe I
think they got to give him John Cena. But but
Sina is saying he needs the lottery ticket to become champion,

(57:05):
so we can't even get him getting that, you know
what I mean. But he needs like a big, established,
almost Hall of Fame win, and it can't be Rainystereo
because Rainys Stereo is lost to so many people already.

Speaker 4 (57:17):
Yeah, I wonder who, like who could it? Yeah, it
would have to be John Cena.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
I feel that. And we've already had guntherer beat Randy
Orton and and for some reason that never really carried
over as like you know, Gunther continued, like, I don't
know what it is, but Gunther's rain just feels a
tad underwhelming in that I feel like we're almost waiting

(57:41):
to see who the next in line is. And I
do believe it's sampunk right now.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
No, I don't want it to be seam punk.

Speaker 2 (57:53):
I don't want to.

Speaker 4 (57:55):
I don't want it. I don't Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:58):
Yeah, I've made peace with the fact that he'll probably
win the Royal Rumbo, like I said, and that means
he'll probably go on a main event estmating, and I'm
okay with both of those things. But I do truly
believe he should lose in the main event of wrestmate it.
And I don't often feel that way about most Royal
Rumble winners. Usually I go into WrestleMania thinking they should win.

(58:19):
I think his story is to win the WrestleMania, get
to WrestleMania, but fall to Gunther. He should be putting
Gunther over, Like I get it. I really want like
I understand pushing Sandpunk using him like that. Fine, I
don't think he should be champion yet. I don't think
he should be champion again personally, but like right now, no,
and someone like Gunther, who is still very much the

(58:43):
future but also the present, shouldn't be the one putting
Punk over like this is something hit all over again,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (58:52):
Right right, It's a very it's a very interesting take
on Gunther because they built guntherer up so much to
be a powerhouse too, you know, with Gunther's like he's
such a powerhouse and we all couldn't wait for him
to be champ, and like you said, it's it's kind
of sad that he's fizzling out.

Speaker 4 (59:06):
Not in a too bad a way, but we need
to have a bet. We need to have more.

Speaker 3 (59:10):
Challengers because like in my opinion, he was a final
boss and it's like, who could he possibly face unless
you bring Black Lesner And nobody wants that, right.

Speaker 2 (59:20):
Right exactly, Speaking of what nobody wants, that was crazy.

Speaker 3 (59:29):
That was I texted you and I said, to be
a fly on the wall in Salty son Neil's house
where Hulk Hogan is getting booed and see him punk
is being cheered like hard. He like Jesus, did someone
check on We didn't check on him?

Speaker 2 (59:49):
We should have? Oh god, yeah, man, So listen, here's
the music hits. I literally I'm watching this in my
living room. I literally screamed, fuck fuck, Like I was
just so mad that we were getting him, so mad
that we're getting him actually like his music playing. He's
coming out in front of the live crowd. I feel

(01:00:12):
like people forget because he's been in the public eye
in the past year. This is the first time Debuie's
done this with him in a long time.

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
Yeah, right, I think it was WrestleMania in nineteen.

Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
They they used him on TV, but it's always been
like backstage, like it's never actually been out there live
Mike with the crowd.

Speaker 4 (01:00:35):
When Alexa Bliss.

Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
Hosted WrestleMania and MetLife in twenty nineteen, Wholk Cogan came out, remember, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
I remember I think the last time, right, well, a
couple of years ago. I remember there was like a
it was like February something. It was like a SmackDown
and they used him to like sell stuff like he
was selling like merch it was just him and Jimmy
Hart like doing a showbacks age promo type of thing, right,
so like they you know, they've sprinkled him in and

(01:01:04):
I eye roll and gag every time, but like thinking
they would actually like give him this valuable airtime. You know,
the list of Raw wrestlers, men and women that did
not get mentioned or shown on the show is a
long list. But we got Hulk Hogan coming out to

(01:01:25):
do what like even let's pretend and we're gonna get
to what the actual reaction was, but let's pretend the
fans were happy to see him.

Speaker 4 (01:01:34):
Yeah, what the fuck?

Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
Like why Like he came out to say thanks for
sticking with me this whole time, which was hilarious as
they're booing him out of the fucking building, Like, now, bro,
we haven't stuck with you in forever. Uh talking about
how the fans have been my best taxi partner and
sorry bro, not really but now Netflix is our best tag?
Like what we know we're watching Raw on Netflix. We

(01:01:57):
didn't need this crazy old fuck to come out and
say Raw is Netflix.

Speaker 4 (01:02:01):
Like that was the Yeah, nobody nobody cares about Hulk Coldan.

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
Like nobody asked for that, And it's not even him being.

Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
In the line in the light the past year or
any of that bullshit of reason. It's when people haven't
been behind hul Colgan.

Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
Right, And that's like I feel like, and I feel like,
that's why, and everyone's like, you know, saying, oh, it's political. No,
it has nothing to do with politics. Undertaker got cheered. Hell,
I'm sick of people always like and I don't even know.
We don't have to go to Undertaker. First, Triple h
got cheered. Okay, Stephie McMahon in that fucking weird smile
of hers that doesn't fucking move. She got cheered. We

(01:02:36):
all know who they voted for. So it has nothing
to do with that. It's that we know Hulk Hogan
is a racist. There's documented proof of it. He never apologized,
there was no repair, there was no remorse. So nah, like,
I'm good, I don't I'm good. I don't want to
try his bud light light beer. I don't want to

(01:02:57):
listen to him talk about nothing. No recycling, the same
shit that was popular in the eighties, that was going
mild in the nineties, and it was a miracle that
he was able to pull off a two thousands run. Yeah,
it was a miracle that he was able to introduce
himself to the new generation of the two thousands with
a fucking VH one reality show. Okay, like he got

(01:03:18):
so much longer of a run than he ever should
have had. But it's over now from the word.

Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
Now, from the words of our dear friend M two
J but with different afflection.

Speaker 4 (01:03:32):
Yeah, fucking hey.

Speaker 2 (01:03:36):
Like yeah, and the words of corrupt. It's over. It's over,
and now move over. It's my turn.

Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
Now.

Speaker 4 (01:03:46):
You sang more in.

Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
This episode than I did in any episode.

Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
I don't know if that's true.

Speaker 4 (01:03:53):
I didn't sing at all this episode, and I sing
every episode.

Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
Well, yeah, but you said I've sung more in this
episode than you have in any episode, and I don't
think we've reach that point yet. You've you've sung a
lot in many episodes, a lot. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
I didn't even do a John Cena thing, and I
always do that's like a big thing.

Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
But listen, I want to I want to thank everyone
in that audience. You guys did not let us down.
For you guys, you guys came through and you did
what needed to be done. Now, I've read rumors about
what's gonna happen from this. I'd love to believe that
this was just like, like they should take it as

(01:04:33):
a oh fuck, we fucked up, like like they're not, like,
we can't just wait this one out. I guess we
got to be done with Hulkogan again. That's not the case, though.
They they're going to use him again. I read that
they're gonna be more mindful of the cities they use
him in front of, which is gonna honestly make me
sick to my stomach. I also read a rumor which

(01:04:54):
scared the fuck out of me. I pray to God
this isn't true. I read the rumor that they've been
talking about due to the response bringing him on TV
as a heel character and having him like partner with
a wrestler and you know, bring some heat to the program,
which I like, that makes me easy.

Speaker 3 (01:05:14):
Does have him wrestle Gunther and guntherro will get his
stride back like and have Gunter just beat the shit
out of him.

Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Well No, Bronson Reed is on Twitter saying, damn it.
If I wasn't hurt, you guys would have gotten me
smoking a blunt to the ring and giving hulkke and
twelve tsunamis.

Speaker 3 (01:05:30):
And Hulko can handle twelve ssun armies no, which is
exactly why I.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Want to see that. Oh I love that, oh man,
But yeah, like legit, I'm watching it, I'm eye rolling,
I'm cringing, and then I'm realizing that he's getting booed
out of the building and I'm immediately clapping. I'm laughing.
I'm enjoying it. All that clueless old fuck didn't know,
didn't look like he like, So if you hear it,

(01:05:58):
wouldn't you stop thanking the fan for being your biggest supporter.
Wouldn't you not say thanks for sticking with me through
thick and thin as they're literally telling you to get
the fuck away from them. Yes, there's so many reasons
why a wrestling fan would not like Hulkogan. Like, there's
just so many, and it doesn't you know what I mean,

(01:06:19):
Like you can pick one. So like, hell, what he
did to TNA is enough is enough reason for me
to not want to see him talk about how much
he loves WWE and YadA, YadA, YadA. So like, nah, bro,
like I'm over it, I'm over you.

Speaker 4 (01:06:39):
Yeah, bro, get out of here. We don't want to like.

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
Watching him get bood was fucking hilarious. Highlight of the year.
But nah, like, please stop, please just stop. There's no
like he brings nothing to the program, yeah at all.

Speaker 4 (01:06:52):
I think that's the big thing. He brings nothing to
the table.

Speaker 3 (01:06:55):
Yeah, like, and he hasn't in decades and putting people
like I understand the Rock because the Rock is still
a little bit. The Rock is pretty much still relevant,
John Seen is still relevant. You have all these other
people that probably were like dying to be on the
program yesterday, and instead you bumped people for that.

Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
Chad Gable, I'm not sorry. Not Chad Gable. The New
Day was supposed to face Raymisterio and a mystery partner.
It was rumored that that was gonna be pentha. I
believe that match was at least hinted that it was
gonna be on that show, no mention of it, and
now we don't even know if that match is happening again.
Chad Gable was able to get a backstage promo in

(01:07:36):
on the show. Thank god, we got to see him
for a little bit, and apparently he's having a match
with a mystery opponent next week. So now people are
thinking that Pentha is going to be the mystery opponent
facing uh, facing Chad Gable, and people are shitting on
that because, like I said, it was alluded to the
fact that he'd probably be Ray Mysterious partner. I personally

(01:07:57):
think him facing Chad Gable is a much better thing
then just once again bringing in a luchador and pairing
him with Raymysterio in the lw O, Like, like, come on,
at some point, you have to start doing different things
when you bring in Latin wrestlers. They can't all just
be Ray Masteriro's best buddy the second they get here. Yes,
we know Penta and ray Masteria go wait back, Yes,

(01:08:19):
we'll get them on screen at some point. In fact,
a royal rumble confrontation sounds tremendous.

Speaker 4 (01:08:26):
Yeah, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Now, granted, I want way more for Chad Gable than
him being the guy fed to a brand new debuting superstar,
but those guys are gonna put on a banger, and unfortunately,
the way they're booking Chad Gable as the heel, at
least for now, is as the guy who's gonna make
the fans want him to want to see him get
his ass kicked, and then he's gonna give him what

(01:08:49):
they want, Like he gets the heat for him and
his squad, and then they get the beating by somebody.
And I do believe they're gonna go back to the
well and let Otis finally get a and silver on Chad.
I feel like they're starting to bring those guys back.

Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
Man, they failed so miserably on that.

Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
Yeah, hopefully they redo it. Hey, listen, what if Chad
Gable and Otis fight each other WrestleMania. I mean that'd
be cool.

Speaker 4 (01:09:10):
I'd be okay with that.

Speaker 2 (01:09:12):
I mean, I'm not super hopeful, but I I'd love it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
Yeah, I like it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
Watch Instead, it's going to be Chad Gable team with
American Maid to take on Otis teaming with raymis Stereo
and Penta.

Speaker 4 (01:09:29):
I don't want that.

Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
And then the Eldo who's gonna turn on Raymisteria because
once again he chose a brand new guy overran ney
one of them for tag team partner.

Speaker 4 (01:09:37):
I don't want that.

Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
Did you want a new women's world champion?

Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
And you got it man, Ria Ripley, Man, let's talk
about it.

Speaker 4 (01:09:51):
I love her. I love her so much.

Speaker 3 (01:09:55):
Ria Ripley also like transformed her body like she was
already in fucking she was already in shape, and now
she's like in tremendous, tremendous shape.

Speaker 4 (01:10:05):
She looks freaking amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
Yeah, she does love it. I think I think Liv
Morgan did a fantastic job with the Live Morgan Revenge Tour.
You know, she she came back from an injury herself,
a lot of time off. It was last year's Well Rumbled.
She came back on not Renny people. We didn't really
know what the direction was gonna be for her. Rear
Ripley obviously gets injured in that in the beginning stages

(01:10:31):
of that, and I think both women took the ball
and ran with it from there. With Live Morgan obviously
had taken the new character, taking the new personality the
Live Morgan Revenge Tour, two new heights, rear Ripley now
having to be the baby face, trying to get back
everything she lost. You know, everyone talks about how Rea

(01:10:51):
Ripley's always like unbeatable, unstoppable like Tetlon, but we also
saw her be vulnerable. This is Liv Morgan took everything
from her. Yeah, so she lost her family, she lost
her man, she lost her title, so we saw her
get her title back. She even joked at the press
conference that she was gonna be rubbing it in Damien's face.

Speaker 4 (01:11:09):
Now it's like, you ain't champion, get it.

Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
I don't know what that actually.

Speaker 4 (01:11:17):
Oh my god, I'm obsessed. I love them so much.
Yay friendship.

Speaker 3 (01:11:21):
Yeah, they're the classic yay friendship, like besides us, because we're, of.

Speaker 2 (01:11:28):
Course we are the og yay friendship. Yeah, we are
the Yeah, this is a This is another case of
where as I said, I think another chapter closed. Uh.
I don't expect Live Morgan and Rea Ripley to be
coming for each other anymore. I am curious as to
who the new number one contender will end up being
for Ria Ripley on the road to WrestleMania, who will

(01:11:50):
win the Women's will rumble to base her at WrestleMania. Uh,
speaking of who's gonna be facing for women's at WrestleMania,
we gotta talk about something before we call this to show.
Danielle Well, okay, what time is it? It is the war?

Speaker 4 (01:12:04):
No, just kidding, it's Tiffy time.

Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
It is Tiffy time. Finally, Tippy time.

Speaker 4 (01:12:11):
Finally Tiffy time broke.

Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
My watch just wasn't hitting tippy time for like months
and months.

Speaker 4 (01:12:17):
My watch was like, what's happening here?

Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
Where?

Speaker 4 (01:12:20):
What's what's going on? What's wrong here?

Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
Yeah? I thought the cash in was very well done.

Speaker 4 (01:12:26):
It's so funny.

Speaker 3 (01:12:27):
So since we're best best friends in Oland. Yes, certain
things I am very conscious of when I watch wrestling,
because I know you complain about a lot of stuff.
What you well, there's certain things that you complain about.
Same with me. Like you know, when someone wins a championship,
if someone were runs in before two minutes, you look
out for it. Me, I'm all about the cash in.

(01:12:48):
Cash in's are very important because I know how important
they are to you. You hate when like they announced it,
you hate you like cash and done it right. And
I think this was done and executed perfectly. I was like,
Brady is very happy? Yes, Yes, pretty happy Brady.

Speaker 2 (01:13:02):
I loved I loved the mislead. I loved where Tiffy
comes in. We didn't see her with Ny before. Everyone
was kind of wondering, where is she. It seems like
she's finally doing it. Then oh wait, nope, it was
a ruse distracted the referee boom box Naomi in the
head with that briefcase sets Naya up for the finish,

(01:13:23):
helps her best friend win again once she hit that way,
and then directs traffic go get Bianca some more and
then boom briefcase to the back, sets Bianca up to
get a little revenge, takes out Bianca, and it is
Tiffy time. Love that she got the crowd hype a
little bit right before hitting that moon salt. It was

(01:13:44):
a pretty pretty moon salt. But once again, now we
wonder what's next. The way it was done, I mean,
I assume Tiffy's gonna go face because the fans love her. Yeah,
they've been cheering for her for a while now. And

(01:14:04):
the truth is like, yeah, she turned on Nya Jacks,
but Nya Jacks was being horrible to her for like
the entirety of the friendship. And granted, we never really
we never trusted Tiffy either, but Nia was like really
throwing her weight around and really trying to like make
like her Tiffy's life miserable. So this might be FaceTime

(01:14:27):
for Tiffany. But at the same time Tiffy took out Bianca,
there's a whole lot of people on the way and
back sounds been doing it. In fact, we he's been
doing a great job of having wrestlers keep that same
energy for lack of a better term, Whereas you know,
like Bianca still barely trust Bailey because of all the
shit she put her through when she was with Damage Control.

(01:14:49):
They don't just maginice you forget these things because you
turn face or heel. So I am curious as to
what happens with Tiffy. Also, keep in mind, like, yeah,
you're champ now, but now you also have Nia Jack's
coming for you. Like, there's no real reason that Nya
wouldn't have, you know, her eyes set on this championship.

(01:15:10):
There's the royal rumble again. So like, Tiffy's got to
have her guard up now, but for the moment, she
is the reigning queen. I was speaking of, which do
you think Nya's gonna bring back the crown?

Speaker 4 (01:15:24):
I would. I don't know why she took it off, Listen.

Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
That was why I hated that, I told you. I
was like, that was why I immediately got paranoid when
they announced the King and Queen of the Ring were
getting title shots, because I'm like, I think Gumph and
I are both about to actually become champion, and now
we've lose our king and queen and Nya wore her
crown for a little bit with the championship, but then
like just kind of lost it.

Speaker 4 (01:15:46):
Not me, I'd wear that all the time. It's funny
you say that.

Speaker 3 (01:15:48):
I'm actually looking for two hours right now because one
of mine got canceled and.

Speaker 4 (01:15:51):
I have to order another one.

Speaker 2 (01:15:53):
Oh my goodness, you know, And I love Tia.

Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
As soon as she came out with it, I'm like,
I'm completely on this woman's side just because she has
a she's wearing a tiar.

Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
Like I have to know. Yeah, yeah, I gotta be
on your side if you're wearing a tiara like you
have to right. Maybe yep, I mean I think so.
But I also think that's gonna do it for us
this week. Guy's so happy to be back for a
brand new year, twenty twenty five. Hopefully it is a

(01:16:24):
good one for all of us. Raw is officially on Netflix.
Who knows what the future holds. I've heard rumors that
Raw might not be three hours anymore, that it could
be two hours, it could be one hour, it could
be four hours, that They're just gonna keep surprising us
with lengths of time, so we've got an adventure oh
waiting us. Guys, thanks so much for tuning in. Never

(01:16:46):
forget you guys are the best. We are always trying
to be like you, and we are not just smart
marks wear hems.
