Speaker 1 (00:00):
And gentlemen.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Her best wrestling podcast around, hosted by Brady and Dan.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Yell your living room.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's the best podcast to listen to, more than even Appling, Lunia, Clever,
Blond Girl and a juke talk up about wrestling. They
do it twenty four seven because they love to speak
on it every week. That's why they are your best friends.
And they're back or forget for some wrestlings.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
So sit back, relaxed time for hill Mam. That is right,
ladies and gentlemen, fans and friends, we are back once again.
I'm the Custodian of Charisma. I'm the Optimologist of optimism.
She is the Sultan of sarcasm and the Sorceress of sass.

(00:49):
I am the ghost, she is the coat. I am Brady,
she is Danielle. We are the best best friends in
all the land. Together we are the heal Marks. And
so oh March has happened. Elimination Chamber brings with it
so many twists and turns, as does the Road to WrestleMania,
which is continuing at a rapid rate. Danielle, what the

(01:14):
hell happened this week?

Speaker 3 (01:15):
It's like.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Just like it's ellspin, I mean, I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
There was so much happening in such a minimal amount
of time.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Within within a twenty four hour period, within a twenty
five everything changed.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeah, I mean within three days, I would say, or like,
there was so much happening this week. It was like,
this show is so necessary today because we really need
to talk about everything that was going on.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I mean, let's not even waste time. Let's get into
some nitty gritty because because the biggest heel turn possibly happened,
the biggest heels are possibly and we don't know, didn't
Iomi turn heel? Didn't Iomi attack Jay because that would
be the biggest heel turn in the history of the world.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Of course, I mean there's no other he'll turn that
could people.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Talking about I didn't see this coming what Yeah, you.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Know what was was funny. I saw a lot of
people posting that they saw Bianca in the background like
taking off her jacket, like Jade was about to attack her.
But I was like, I think she's just taking off
her jacket, like well, So.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I mean the truth is and I don't know what
to make of it, right, but either way, Beyanca's acting
has been impeccable throughout the entire time However, during most
of the segments where we get any type of development
on the Jade saga, I've always felt Bianca was acting

(02:40):
more guilty than anyone. If you if you look back
at the at the footage when when we first when
they show us that live in Roquelle were on the scene, right,
and we're supposed to think, oh, it's them, Like for me,
Beyonca's reaction to that when both both in learning there
was footage and watching the footage and then reacting to it,
I thought she was acting guiltier, or at least how

(03:03):
she would act if she was guilty.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
I mean that could also be a ruse.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
You know that now now, I also felt Naomi did
look a little guilty, like not necessarily like she did it,
but maybe she knew. Like if you look, the reason
why she's blind set and doesn't even see Jade coming
is because she's looking at Bianca like and it's almost
like a yo, you see this, like what's happening? Naomi

(03:30):
never did any like really just Naomi took the beating
like there was zero time for her to get a
shot in. There was zero time for us to focus
in on a visual reaction of her and to try
and pay piece that together.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Because it could also be that she didn't have time
to react. But also, if she is innocent, you're not
gonna beat the person back. Like there's confusion, You're like,
why getting beat up when I wasn't the one who
attacked you? So that could be it too.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
So and Naomi as always once again, I know this
is just good acting or whatever, but Naomi's always come
across as genuinely innocent to me. Like I did see
areas in the storyline where it could have gone. But
but when but when Naomi was saying like theyre trying
to lie on me for some reason, it did come
across as far as when Beanca was trying to act.

(04:18):
You know, we don't know who did it to me,
Like never, I never bought Bianca, I did buy Naomi.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Yeah, Beanca has been the one that I thought, I
if it was if it was internal, that it was
Bianca who attacked her. That's what I always thought, right.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Granted, Beanca attacking her doesn't really make sense other than
this is wrestling returning Beyanca heel so she suddenly decided
to take out her tag partner.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Now, once again, it could be of Bianca and Naomi
in on this together. Bianca was in the ring when
we learned Jade was attacked. So Naomi and Beanca somehow
doing it together, you know, or setting Jade up.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
And wouldn't they do a Stu and Billy Loomis thing
where they're both the killer, you know, they're both the attacker.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Because also we've seen so many tag teams, especially women's
tag team champions, have to vacate a championship due to
one person getting injured. Only one time can I remember
them just being really allowed to replace it? And it
was Chelsea because I think Chelsea she was team up
with Carmela, then Carmela got pregnant. Then she won the

(05:28):
tag titles with Sonya. Sonya gets hurt or Sonya left
because of I forget. I think it was she actually
got hurt. Yes, Sonya got hurt. And then remember Piper
just kind of walks in and says, I'm your champ,
now I'm your partner.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
I think that was kind of damage control too, right,
are you saying more like people that weren't already in
a group, I.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Mean a group. Don't think they actually just like handed titles.
Granted they did do it recently with the Bloodline, where
Jacob Bottu won the Tag Team championship then handed it
over to Tatonga. So there's a president in the past
for it. But at the same time, you never know
what the decision's gonna be. So for Beyonca to take
out her tag team partner, her champion partner, without knowing

(06:09):
for sure that there'd be a way to get Naomi
in there like that seems as a bit of a risk,
whereas Naomi doing it thinking I can come in as
the hero and help beyond, you know, I like like,
so it does make sense, which is why if Jade
doesn't know for sure, like we're you know, we're assuming
Jade knows for sure, but once again, we don't know.

(06:31):
We didn't see the attack, we don't know how it happened.
Jade might have just not believed that it was live
and instead was like Naomi, I know it was you.
You try to snake me right. But the way the
injury angle was done for Naomi, it kind of seems
like we're not going to see her for a while,
like like that was a hardcore beat down, Like we mentioned,

(06:53):
zero off on Naomi's side, it was just it was
just a melee kind of just in shock.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
I think there was a shock in her eye, like
she was just like, why am I being attacked? So
that could be again, it could just be acting on
their part. But if we're doing it, you know, OK,
fape story W.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yanka's acting in the cage was phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Yeah, yeah, very much so. I was very u I
was very impressed by her because sometime Yanka's acting gets
a little horny.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
I mean, I think through I think throughout this entire angle,
like this entire Jade saga, both her and Naomi have
been been acting.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Perfectly for I think me and Jade like and like
you said, the saga, I think it's really brought out,
brought out the best in Bianca in her acting, in
her capability, making her really comfortable at in her own skin.
Because even as a champ, you know, the champ, being
a champion, a solo champion, you know, you can rely
heavily on the belt. But with this, I think Naomi
and Jade have helped her really like come out of

(07:47):
her shell.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Yeah. And I also think that helps that I assume
that Jade and Bianca did kind of get along early
a because they both share a mentor in Mark Henry. Also,
they they are extremely very similar in the way they
came into the business and the way people responded and
reacted and expected certain things, so there'd be easy bonding issues. Also,

(08:09):
we saw before Jade even made the switch from AW
and I think, now i'm thinking about it, I believe
Naomi might have been over with Impact as Trinity, But
we seen them famously appear in basketball games, and we
saw them build a friendship off screen. Naomi's famously friends
with Dan near everybody vacatione. Nobody has a bad thing
to say about Nyoma. So I think Naomi and Bianca

(08:32):
truly did take Jade under their wing. Was excited to
see her come in, see her thrive, see her grow.
So I think the fact that they were able to
do anything together, whether it was working as kind of
the big three of the women's division teaming up, whether
it was becoming tag team champions, and while Bianca and
Jade were becoming tax tiam We tag team champions, we

(08:54):
thought Naomi was getting a lot of momentum heading towards
her possibly becoming Women's Champion. On one of the shows.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I want to talk of her winning the Royal Rumble.
That was a big She was a big favorite to
win for a while.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I mean I never bought into that, only because she
was still tag team champion, that right, right, right, right right?
Well no, but yeah, and then they won the titles
and I'm like, oh, well, now I don't see it
happening anymore. Yeah, exactly, But the fact that the beatdown
was done so well but also answered no questions, like

(09:29):
if Naomi really did it, I almost feel like we'd
have more follow through. You'd have the commentary team almost
jumping to that assumption because they'd want to lead us there, right,
they'd want us already started on hating Naomi and speaking
of which, that fucking crowd should be ashamed of themselves
because we don't know that Naomi did it, and they

(09:51):
were so quick. She's getting stretched out and getting the
nod non Natchets, ruthless.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Wrestling fans are fickle and ruthless.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
You know that we don't. No, Naomi did a goddamn thing.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
And why would Jade specifically go after Naomi. She's just
assuming its Naomi and beat her up.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
I mean, listen, for all we know, maybe this will
be a situation where like, whoever did it wore a
wig reminiscent of one of Naomi's wigs and was like
setting her up, And what we're actually gonna do. We're
actually gonna see a video of someone taking off the
wig put it in the garbage can, and then we're
gonna like say, oh it's Biaca. It was Bianca. Do

(10:28):
you see the ponytail? Do you see the braid? Yeah,
Like it could be something like that, where not only
did Bianca attack Jade and set herself up with a
replacement in Naomi, but also set Naomi up to take
the heat, whereas Naomi wouldn't be turning heel and this
all these fans would be ashamed of themselves and Bianki
is the only one to turn heel.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Wrestling fans will never be ashamed of themselves because they
don't know how to admit. Ever, when they're wrong, they'll
be like they'll scream in the face that they hated
Sam Punk since the beginning, and then it's like, yeah,
but you have cm Punk bed sheets. Sit down.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
My favorite and my favorite, I mean least favorite. It
happened if you want Ago Jacob. This story comes out
out of nowhere from like and meanwhile, the story was
from like a year and a half ago. But then
it was like saying, Jacoba to like owed money to
this children's charity, rip them off, never did anything back,
blah blah blah, and like so for like less than

(11:19):
a week, but like I want to say, like at
least three to four days, everyone's turned on jacob I too,
mister lovable jacob I two on the internet. Everyone's like,
I can't believe he's a dirt bag. I can't believe this.
I read this, YadA YadA, this charity said this. Meanwhile,
like literally the story didn't seem current at all, and
if anything, what the guy was saying was like, we
did Jacoba two put us in touch with his cousin

(11:41):
and the Rock did make something right first blah blah blah,
and then it was like nothing seemed right. But anyway,
like I want to say, maybe four or five days later,
it comes out that no, jacob I two did in
fact get in touch with them. They made right. It
was misunderstanding. He wasn't able to do it because of this,
but then they did this. He had the Rock help out.
He did this so like and then everyone like the

(12:02):
apologies were not nearly as loud as as the turning on.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Poor Jacob Botu told you they'll never admit their wrong
It's just the thing that wrestling fan zoot.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Well, you admit you were wrong, because I know who
was right when it came to predicting who's gonna win
the women's elimination chambermats.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
You were right, you were.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
It was so funny when Naomi got taken out. I
remember texting you. I was like, imagine Becky Lynch comes
back right now, because they had the opportunity. Because also
like as soon as that happens, and then you see
Bianca literally breaking down in her pod, and you're starting
to be like, Okay, wait a minute, Banca's too close
to this Jade and Naomi thing. Maybe yeah, and then

(12:44):
it's like, well, not even maybe she can't go on,
but just maybe this kind of from a booking standpoint
eliminates her from like maybe she's not now the front runner.
And now I'm kind of like, okay, maybe Alexa blisses.
But if Becky decided to walk out right now as
the mystery surprise, then it would be like, oh, Becky,
Becky's gonna win this. Yeah, start to finish, Yeah, which

(13:04):
would have still been cool.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Like was a good it was a good pick. I
liked it. Yeah, Yeah, I wasn't against it. I like
that she's gonna face the women's champion at Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
I mean it's interesting because and let's we can get into.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
That, we have to get into a what a shocker.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
But like just just going real, real quick, going back
to the jade of it all. When Bianca made her
appearance on RAW just to watch the match, ye, something
about damn near everything she did was screaming heeled.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Yes, I like everybody felt heel, except Io exactly.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
I mean real rear not so much, but Bianca kind
of brought it out of her for all of a sudden.
It's kind of wait, why are you being so aggressive?
Like what are you doing? What are you doing? But
at the same time, Bianca, why are you here? I
understand you watched that match, I won that match rather
and yes, you've invested interest, but Ria Ripley gave EO

(14:02):
this match because Ria Ripley felt bad about costing Io
or shot at the chamber. So like you and Rhea
always respected each other, You've always talked about me and
me thing wrestlingting together. Why don't you just let her
do her thing? The fact that she was there and
she was smiling and just getting involved in the shove,
and the whole everything about it.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
It was a weird. It was a very weird thing.
It's funny if we didn't know. If I was just
going in as a wrestling fan and watching this, I'm like,
I love this Rhea. Who is this woman taunting Bianca?
And this and all the components of this seem awesome.
But if you know beforehand, like you already know these
stories and leading up to this, it didn't. It didn't fit.
Like why is Ria yelling at Bianca like they should

(14:41):
be exciteding each other? It was they should be excited
like I'll see you they like friend like friendly.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Fire, like you know what I mean? And then like
with it all said and done. I don't know if
you saw Ria Ripley cut a promo like after all,
like backstage with Kathy Kelly, and it was It's an
amazing five minute promo word checking out for any listeners.
But she really goes in about how like she's so stupid.
She's like, I'm so stupid. Eosky's the best I've literally

(15:11):
never beaten her. Why did I think that I could
just give myself this challenge and just cruise past it
like I have everything? Why did I think I was
guaranteed for Mania? Why did I think I had any
actual friends back here? I thought me and Io were friends.
I thought me and Bianca were friends. I've always said
I wanted to face Panca wrestle media. All I had
to do was beat her. Why is she there laughing?

(15:32):
Why is she there getting in the way? And like
when you listen to it, you're kind of like, damn,
Bianca is a bitch. Why why should learn to do
her thing? Why why should cheer.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
An eo more Ria is planning the seeds for you
to really not like Bianca and Bianca to go into
this match as a heel.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
At the same time, to what you were saying, like,
I also did send some heel tendancies from Rio or
at the very least an opportunity for her to go
back to a darker area that we've seen in the past. Yeah,
because because also you kind of have this is kind
of a point in her career where she does need
to evolve to a new reea. She's done a great

(16:11):
job at her entire career. She really hit her stride
with Judgment Day with Dominic. That's when mommy really took form.
And then of course with her having Judgment Day turn
on her, and then her doing it a little bit
with Damien as the Terror Twins, and then now for
like the past month or two by herself, It's like, Okay,

(16:33):
now what and I feel like, so now this big
loss is a big turning point and we can kind
of see what Mommy is now completely alone? And she
even talked about feeling alone in that promo and talk
to me how she has known and friendship isn't real.
It was a very DTA style promo. So it's like,
what is Ria Ripley completely on her own? Now? Will

(16:55):
she still be Mommy? Will we get something completely different?

Speaker 3 (16:59):
I think they might add her in and it will
be a triple threat. That's what I thought.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Well, it certainly seems that way there was. There was
certainly attention being brought to why wasn't this just a DQ?
As soon as Bianca put her hands on Ria, like
what not?

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Not?

Speaker 1 (17:13):
She hit her, but she did get physical with her,
which is which is not allowed. I think the fact
that Bianca won the Elimination Chamber and not the royal
rumble does kind of leave a little bit more opening
where you could a general manager could kind of make
make a stipulation, you know, whether Rear has to win

(17:36):
a match to get her pot spot in or maybe
he just says, listen, yes, you earned your right at
the champion for Elimination Chamber because you won. But Riha
Ripley has a rematch, you know, like and so we're
just gonna I could also see Ria getting a rematch
with EO and then having Bianca like get involved again

(17:57):
and mess it up a little bit more to the
point where this then Adam Pierce would just be like, Okay,
Riea's added to it. Yeah, it would make more sense.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
That really healis in Riea's face that she.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
I mean, Bianca, everything about that was helish and like
to me, even if you look at the reaction, if
you look at how much she was talking about loving
Naomi and having a sister that has her back, leading
into the chamber and leading into them losing their tag
titles rather and then you look at the reaction to

(18:30):
Jade beating up Naomi in the chamber, She's like, oh,
my god, my sisters are fighting. What's happening? Why are
you doing this? I don't know? And then you look
at how quick Like in the interview she kind of
flipped it. She's like, honestly, I don't know what, but
I can't really think about that right now. I just
have to be very proud of myself for winning and
focus on a focus on WrestleMania. She's coming out, she's laughing,

(18:50):
she's costing Ria Ripley matches and titles, and she's just
laughing at it all. And it just it seems like
it's like, and we talked about this when predicting whether
Bianca would win, because her just being dead set and
WrestleMania made of ment mode all of a sudden, when
all of that is fresh fresh, like did Naomi attack Jade?
Did Jade attack Naomi for no reason? These things should

(19:14):
be big on Beianca's mind, But she's just cruising onto
a whole new thing, just skipping away. There's heel elements
to that as well, right So to me, it's it's
screaming that Bianca might be very guilty when it comes
to what happened with Jade, and that might come out later.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
And man man EO being champed. All I kept thinking
is John is so mad right now? Cook, Yeah, South
is so mad right now that EO is in the
WrestleMania YOUO is so good, like.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
I's so She's so good, And I don't think anyone
else would be able to be slotted into this position
where like just looking at it this way, where they're deciding, Okay,
we're gonna use the raw after Chamber to get the
title off Ria right as a way to either create intrigue,
create a new Rea, get her into a new story,

(20:07):
or make it a triple threat. Either way they're deciding
that's what they're gonna do. Yeah, we're picking somebody off
the roster to make them champion, possibly just for the
next month and a half, you know. Ish like there's
a good chance that the championship does change hands again
at rest, whether whether it's a one on one or
it becomes a triple threat, either way, there's a good chance.

(20:27):
And also there's a good chance Eoskuy could retain. I
think Eoskuy's like the only person on the roster where
they could kind of pluck her and be like, all right,
we're gonna do it with this and the crowd will
get behind it. Despite how like it did seem like
a very awkward title change, it did seem weird. It
was mind blowing.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Yeah, you and I. You and I text each other
the same exact thing. We both wrote, holy shit, what
the fuck?

Speaker 1 (20:50):
What the fuck? Yeah, same exact thing.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
It was really like, it took me. It took me
off guard. And that's what you want leading kind of
up to Rustlemania too, And that's what you want when
we're watching wrestling, that's what we want. We want moments
that aren't so predictable. I don't mind predictability, but like,
this is something fresh. And like you said, EO is
the type of person that even if they don't know
who's gonna walk out of WrestleMania the women's champion, this,

(21:13):
EO is a perfect person to do whichever way they
can do it. She's the one to use as the
focal point to get to that point.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Yeah. And also I kind of had like a like
I had a strange feeling about EO, Like no, I'm
not even joking, like just the way that they like.
Cause when I was thinking after our episode about how
Biyonca and Rhea have not had any interactions, and in reality,
Beyonca and EO did have more interactions this past year

(21:40):
and past few months with the damage control going after
the tag titles, and like all of a sudden, I'm like,
I'm like, it's weird. Like when we were thinking we're
having such a hard time figuring out who could win
the Chamber and face Real, I'm was like, none of
them makes sense, even Bianca. It seems like they give
us a bigger build for that. So like in my mind,
I was like, I felt I couldn't come up with

(22:02):
rationalize and why you know they would actually have Io
win that match, But I also couldn't rationalize why they
would have that match happened. The only way I was
thinking is like maybe Bianca or like as I said,
maybe somebody wins who interferes in the match costs Eoskuy
and then that gets hurt the triple Threat, but having
Real lose like this to the point where we're fantasy

(22:22):
booking her in a trouble Threat, but in reality she
might have lost her spot a Mania.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
Right, or she's hurt. We don't know, it could be anything.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
I don't think she's hurt only just because of the
way the type of match they had. I feel like
it would have gotten much less time got it and
would have been like a clunkier. I don't know, like
it just that there was a physical match, and of
the injuries that one could have and work through, it

(22:49):
still didn't seem like they were going out of their
way to protect any real significant body part or injury.
So so yeah, I don't think she's hurt. I'm also
KNOCKNNA would hoping she's not her, hoping she's at least
capable for Mania, depending on how they get her in there.
It was fun to see the team of Tiffy and
Trishi get the predictable win.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Yeah, Tiffy and She, they were fun. I liked watching
this match.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
Yeah, what'd you think about Charlotte?

Speaker 3 (23:14):
Charlotte? I love Charlotte. I know people want to boo
her so badly, but I love her. I can't help it.
Like I can't help it. I can't boo the woo.
I gotta woo the woo.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
That's funny, you know what I mean? Like I have right,
I can't help it. I mean, listen, she there's no
arguing that she brings out the best in whoever she's
working with. Like we constantly say the phrase, this person
has no bad matches on this show, but like Charlotte
Flair has rarely, rarely had bad opponents because for the

(23:46):
most part, she always brings people to her level. She
brings people to their best level.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Yeah, so, no, no matter how you stick it, Like, if
you don't want to like her, it doesn't matter, because
she's one of the best wrestlers in the world. And
that's just fact. It's just a fact, and it's just.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Yeah, I wonder, No, I was gonna say, I wonder
if this was Tricia's last match. I was.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
I was thinking that. I was also going to say
Trisha looked great. She still looked good in the ring.
I was very impressed with her. I was like, all right, Trish,
I see you. And I like that Candace Lray got
some love. I feel like Candace or Laura gets pushed
a lot and like.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
She I love this spot, this spot for her.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
I love her with Naya Jacks. I think this is
a great for her, and I really like I really
like her as a heel.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Cannis Yeah, yeah, Cannas is a good heel. I think
Cannas and Naya are a good match. I'm glad that
they paired Candas with Naya before Tiffy and and Naya
went their separate ways. It was good. It already kind
of got her in a good spot, allowed her to
be instrumental in with the Tiffy turn. Uh, the Tiffy turn. Yeah,

(24:46):
when she turned on Nya, it took the title, turned
herself into a champion. But yeah, but no, this was
this was fun. Predictably Tiffy getting the clean pin on canvas,
of course, but but yeah, this was this was fun.
I hope Naya and Candace get themselves a spot for Mania.
I don't know how many spots there are going to

(25:08):
be available in period. I don't know. Man Wrestle Triple
H has been pretty strict with his five match cards six.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Tops, so twelve, so those twelve matches.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Yeah, but I mean, but we've already got a card,
but we've already got quite a few solo pairings. So
like when you look at so like that, you know,
then less spots become available, and it's like, are they
going to do a four way a triple threat? They
can't do the same match, so you know, are we
going to get a Battle Royal back on the card
or are they just going to give it to us

(25:40):
on SmackDown and and you know, tell us it's the
WrestleMania Special.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
What would be in a WrestleMania Special?

Speaker 1 (25:47):
What I was thinking? You mean like a sandwich?

Speaker 3 (25:49):
I was thinking of a sandwich, a meal, or a drink.
That's the first thing. Those are the first three things
that popped in my head.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Let's see what would the WrestleMania Special be.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
If it was a sandwich or if it was a drink.
If it was a drink, there's protein and there's like
protein powder.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Jesus Christ. No, we're not doing a drink. That's disgusting.
In fact, I'm not even doing a sandwich anymore. You
mentioned protein beverages and now I'm just the ya can't
even get on his own. Let's talk about Kevin Owens
and Sammy Zay in a good old Canadian brawl.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
This is my match of the night.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Yeah, yeah, I mean these two, these two have magical
chemistry and they're also two sick fucks.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
They're so crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
You heard that the barbed wire was real, that it wasn't.
I did what? Yes, yes, they insisted.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
I love them so much. Yeah, they're fantastic. I can
watch them fight forever. I know we always say that
that fight forever with the two of them, but they're
literally wrestlers that want to see fight forever, not in
one period, but they can always be against each other.
I'm totally okay with that, and they can fight forever
and always, and I love that, Like Lex Lusor and
Superman or Batman and the Joker, like they're just so
fantastic together, and like they're brutal man. They just take

(26:58):
any they take anything that comes their way. They have
such good ring psychology and they just it's like watching
a dance, like you're watching them dance in the ring.
It's really beautiful to watch.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
And Kevin Owens, Kevin Owens needed a big win. He
needed to look violent, he needed to look dangerous. He
needed to look like, if you mess with him, you
can and we'll get hurt and get hurt badly. And
that's what we got from Sammy's Ain. And there they
are following it up by telling us that Sammy's Ain

(27:27):
is out indefinitely. His status for Wrestleman's up in the air.
I was surprised that they didn't follow this up with
Carrie and Cross cutting another promo on Sammy's Ain. He'd
been cutting promos both backstage on Like Raw, but also
on on like Twitter and stuff. He's been cutting promos
on Sammy's Ain from afar kind of talking about what

(27:50):
happenings with what's happening with Sammy and Kevin, to the
point where I kind of thought Cross was setting himself
up for a wrestlemand program with Sammy. Thought we might
hear some follow up with that. I hadn't heard or
seen him mention Sammy since Sammy's status was announced as indefinite.
We did get a little carry across AJ styles teaser.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Oh yeah we did.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Did you see did you see the tweet? We actually
posted it and now it's gone super viral. But this
fan noticed that Carri and Cross just has the same
hairstyle as whoever he's trying to manipulate, so like so yeah,
like his hair was out and about this week when
he was talking to AJ, he had it in like

(28:31):
the man bun style when talking to Sammy, And then
if you even go back to when he was talking
to Woods when he was planning seeds in that before
Woods turned heel. Woods kind of had a little bun
different from the one Sammy has. Sammy had more of
like a you know, man bun. Yeah, he just kind
of had a poof and then Cross has the poof
when talking to Woods also, So it's been going back

(28:51):
and Cross responded to the guy. That's how it got
on my radar, and yeah posted it. He was like,
you are locked in and then you know, give his
like yeah, well he's like, well done.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Also, but it also begs the different why to carrying
Cross go bald for so many years?

Speaker 1 (29:05):
He was that he wasn't manipulating anybody. He was just savage.
He didn't have fucking didn't have time for hair care.
Every morning, takes a blade to his dome.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
I remember when he started growing his hair back. You
were like, this guy is.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
I was so let down. I was so betrayed his mother,
and honestly I was also the betrayal womb kind of
was reopened when I seen him messing with AJ because
I'm like Jesus Christ. His hair is glorious. It's beautiful.
But not only not only can he still grow hair,
but he's got some of the best hair in all
the wrestling and we thought this man was bald.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Yeah, you are not in the ball Brady Bunch. Get
out of here.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
I mean we were. We were happy to have him
when we thought we did.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
But no, get out of here.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
He pulled off that badge of honor and threw it
down the monster. But yeah, so it'll be interesting to
see what happens with Sammy Zay. But as we did
talk about in last week's episode, we know what's happening
with Kevin. Oh because Randy Orton is back. Oh yes,
he wasn't gonna let Kevin cripple poor Sammy anymore than

(30:09):
he already had. Randy Orton comes out, we get RKO
party as it was called, just random. Did you notice
Leroy Green? Oh wait no, he wasn't an RKAR wrest
So Leroy Green we saw it raw though he was
a security guard.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
Yay.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
But soon soon.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Also, I have to say what we've talked about with
Kevin Owens before. Kevin Owens like just knows when he
sees a camera, he knows what to do, he knows
to always be on. He always has reactions like the
minute of the music hits and he's just like like
he's like, damn it. Oh, he's a storyteller, man. So
I was just very happy.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Kevin Owens is scary good. He's easily one of the best,
top three, top two, probably top one. Yeah, in the company.
He's just so. He's a magician when it comes to
this shit. There's nothing he can't do and do better
than the person next to him. You can put him
as your world champion whatever you feel like, and honestly,
watching the consistently amazing work he's done for like the

(31:06):
past five plus years, he really deserves another shot as
world champion. I enjoyed his first run, but it was
a bit too comical. It was a bit too mid
car with him and Jericho, and a lot of times
they weren't closed, and the shows and made eventing, and
he did still feel like a relatively newer superstarring WWE.

(31:28):
It was still relatively short after his call up, and
his call up was relatively short after his arrival, and
his debut in NXT was relatively short after his signing.
So now where he was already coming into ww a
full blown veteran, now he's a full blown WWB veteran.
Now he's already got a Hall of Fame resume, now
he's probably a locker room leader. So it's like, yeah,

(31:51):
let's work our way to another Kevin Owens World Championship run, please,
because it's been overdue, long overdue.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
Our very first episode of Heal Marks.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Yes, I know that's right. And as much as we
missed Kevin Owens's champion, as much as we missed Randy Orton,
I missed the Randy Orton punt and I was so
excited to see him tease us with that. I'm glad
we didn't get it yet. It seems like we're gonna
get it at Wrestle Media. That's my guess. The punt
is coming back. Now that's a triple H call. If

(32:21):
ever there was, oh.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
One hundred percent. Randy's like, I'm gonna do it, okay,
Like I could just be like talking to Randy or
Randy being like I'm gonna do the punt and he's like,
oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
But you know, the weirdest thing, uh, triple H calls
make me trying to get in his mind is weird.
So so AJ Styles recently did an interview I'm pretty
sure it was Chris van Vleet, and he's talking about
his theme song and how he loves the song you
hate you know, we don't want no, they don't want none. Yeah,

(32:49):
he loves that song and he knows that most fans
other than you loved that song and like, which is
why when he was going bad, he was like, I
need a new song, and I need a song they're
not gonna like, and you know, I want them to
hate it because they want them to hate me. But
then when he was ready to come back and they're like,
you're gonna be a good guy, he's like, Okay, I
want the old song back, and they just give it
to him, just like that. You just said it and
it happened. Seamus has to tweet like five times a

(33:13):
month how much he wants his old theme song back.
Shamus and Triple H. I assume our friends. They used
to be like buddies, workout buddies. They've worked together a
million times. There was definitely a mentor role there at
one point. I don't know why he can never get
his theme back.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Maybe there's like, uh, maybe somebody owns it and they
can't release it.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Too many limes, too many limes, such a good song.
I like that song a lot, so does Seamus.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yeah, I hate when they just imagine them just taking
away your song.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
I'd be so sad, so sad, not as sad as
the kids going to school the Monday after Elimination Chamber
because John Cena sold his soul to the final boss,
geez Lois, he turned heel. First, Let's talk about the match,

(34:06):
the Elimination Chamber match where John Cena wanted as the hero.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
I one thing I really love about Elimination Chamber. I
love when they have the camera in the chambers and
you just get to see all the wrestlers like interacting
with each other or saying stuff or being still.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
I love that they I was gonna say, I love
that they have the pods miked up and they Yeah,
I love hearing them talk shit.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
They talked ship when Seampunk's light kept falling and then
he kept having to put it back up.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Down fixed floor lights, fix the lights.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
And when see a punk fixing it looked that he
looked like such a dad, like fixing his stuff, being like, Okay,
here we go, we're gonna fix this down.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:45):
It was just I that's one thing I love about
the Chamber. I think it's so funny. They had Logan
Paul doing the.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
As much as I hate Logan Paul. Logan Paul's hilarious
when he's just in the pod talking shit, right.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
Because he knows he's not gonna get in the face.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
Assholes are funny, man. Assholes are funny people, and Logan
Paul is one funny asshole, like he when did he
become an asshole? Here?

Speaker 3 (35:08):
Super asshole man? I mean his Oscar speech was pretty
rough and.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
Then I didn't hear it unless he's slowly becoming.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Like as I watch interviews with him leading up to
the Oscars, I was like, you're kind of an asshole.
He's funny, but he's an asshole. Like they said he
was on Broadway once and like the scene was to
smoke weed, and he actually put.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yeah no he cosbyed Mark Ruffalo, right, not nice. That's
an asshole. Yeah, Apparently it wasn't just like Mark Groblo
is the one doing the interview, but like he says,
it was like three other actors and actresses, one like
an elderly lady, and they all hit the fucking real
joint and apparently like it was a scene where obviously,
if you're actually smoking that joint really is not going

(35:48):
to last through a fifteen minute scene, but apparently they're
supposed to continuously be puffing right through almost every phrase,
and it's like, yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
He's a little bit of an asshole, but funny, but
an asshole but that funny. But anyway, I digress, But yeah,
I like it was super fun Logan Paul. Yeah, Logan
Paul in the actual chamber was hilarious. I hate when
he's funny. It annoys me because I don't want him
to be funny.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Yeah. I I The interesting about this really to me
came at the end Seth Rollins and CM Punk, the
way that it ends with Seth Rollins stomping CM Punk
and then this is and this is you know, the
first clue. Even though like as soon as Sina won
and then was staying in the ring for what's happening next,

(36:29):
I just got flashbacks to the Mark Henry thing where
it's like, you know, he's there for a reason, you know,
so obviously with Henry, he was there so Henry could
turn on him and slam his ass with here other
way around. But Sina immediately pounces on the vulnerable CM Punk.
There's no like shock, like, oh my god, Seth, you

(36:50):
did that, why, Like, what do I do? People, what
do I do? No, It's immediately immediately boomed, and I
like the Twitter was quick to point this out too.
It was a very ruthless version of the STFU.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
Yes, it was very ruthless. And then I'm not I'm
surprised and Punk isn't really hurt because that man gets
hurt from like tripping, stubbing his toe.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
I'm surprised his feelings aren't hurt. Maybe they are from
seth rollins screaming Die.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Die Die is so wild. I feel like he like
blacks out during matches and he just like says whatever
like comes to his head.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Like I feel he says that he blacks out during promos.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
I could see that, like when he yelled at Daniel
Bryan exactly.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
He says he blacked out, and he's and he's like
he was surprised Daniel Bryant didn't hit him.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
I wish, I wish Daniel.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
He's too composed, like Brian Danielson is too composed to
allow himself, especially as from somebody who as a general
manager who was at the time retired because he couldn't
go anymore. You're like, I can't I can't go off
shift and punch this wrestler and he's never gonna be
able to get his comeuppance on me, you know. So,
I think he's too professional to make a move like that,

(38:02):
because that would have been extreme if you can't have
the wrestler eventually put his hands on you and get
you back as the heel get the heat back.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
He came back and they had a match, right, I forgot, yeah, right, yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Eventually, eventually when he came back, they worked together. I
think they even teamed together. If I'm not mistaken, I
think Miz might have been baby. That should have been
Brian Danerson's like ultimate feud in WWB, the Miz, Like
that's his ultimate rhyme.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Because of the hurt, because of the injury and the
non injury and the all one hundred percent it was written.
It was written perfectly without even like written without even
being written.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Now, we said we were kind of in agreement that
whichever one of Johnsen and Sampung didn't win, we thought
the other was gonna be facing Logan Paul. I don't
exactly know how or why. I mean, like, and I
did actually say this is a possibility, like a month
ago when we saw ag Styles and Logan Paul talk,
I was like, this could be our wrestlmating matchup. But
then once again, like with AJ Styles not being in

(39:00):
the chamber conversation at all and then them having AJ
and Bron have a little thing, I was like thinking, Okay,
maybe they'll go another way. But sure as ship day
after the chamber, AJ Styles and Logan Paul seems like
that might be where we go.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
I'm pretty sure that's going yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Which, once again, it's surprising to see how many one
on one matches we're getting at Mania. Once again, if
we're looking at only a ten or twelve match card,
these one on ones take away spots from a lot
of people, and especially women's matches. I'm not gonna lie
like more and more one on ones. You're just kind
of like, Okay, you've got this women's champion. You got
with this women's championship. We're assuming tag Championship gets defended.

(39:38):
I don't know if it's guaranteed that the US Championship
and Inchina Championship both get defended on that card anymore,
you know what I mean, Like it's tough to Chelsea
should get on the card in some way. But I
could also see them making it like they'll have them
defend the match, defend the title, the SmackDown on Raw
before or after and say like WrestleMania continued.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
Type of thing, right or really quick Matt which because
I want to actually see her wrestle.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
Right, But yeah, John Cena wins the match in ruthless
fashion and then turns heel in ruthless fashion. It finally happened.
They finally did it. The time is now, I.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
Mean perfect, it was. It was perfectly done as and
then I love that John Cena always posts random things
on Instagram that aren't random, but he doesn't put any caption,
and he posted Harvey Dent from Dark Knight, and I
was like, this is perfection. I was like, you you know,
you die a hero, you live long enough to become
the villain, and I'm like, this is perfect I was like,
way to go, John Cena. I will say Travis Scott

(40:38):
being in the ring kind of threw it off because
he looked really cheesy doing it, and he was you know.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
It's funny everybody everybody said that I loved Travis Scott.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
Did you love Travis Scott? I would never think no no, no.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
No, no no no no no no no no no,
don't don't do that. I mean, I enjoy his music,
but I don't want to try and sell the fact
that I'm a Travis Scott fan. That's not the case.
My love for Travis Scott's involvement has nothing to do
with anything.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
I like Travis Scott. He's here, and I could also
list a million other you know, rappers or celebrities I'd
rather see in this point, however, with the final Boss
character and with the way he tried to sell the
proposition to Cody Rhoads is I can change your life.
The people I know, the connections I have, the things
I do, the way I move, This is the life

(41:25):
I can oh, I can open you up to. So
when Cody Rhodes says, go fuck yourself, rock, and not
only does the rock basically snap his fingers, he did
a stupid scissors under the throat thing, but whatever, whatever, no, no, no, no, no,
the rock, the rock makes the motion. And then not
only does he get John Cena, who was seemingly Cody

(41:47):
Rhod's friend, respected peer, mister hustle, loyalty, respect, he turns
on Cody, but Also, the Rock makes the signal and
Travis Scott is gonna turn on Cody. Cody Rhoads is
our champion. Cody road tests to make how many appearances
for the company go on, how many interview shows smoothed with,
how many celebrities. He doesn't know who he can trust

(42:09):
anymore because the Rock has money and pockets for days.
Rock's got all these people in his phone. Rock's got
all of the people in his role of decks. So like,
I want I almost I'd love to see a twist
come where they actually emphasize Travis Scott's involvement and how
now Cody has eyes in the back of his head.
Cody can't trust Nobody. I want Cody to meet another

(42:32):
I want him to meet Little Uzi Verton, have his
guard up. I want him to meet Lil Wayne and
be like, Nah, five feet bro, five feet I want
I want Cody Rhoades to understand that he fucked with
the Rock, which means Hollywood. Hollywood is turned in his
back on Cody as well. Hollywood has turned heel.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
You know who's gonna be Cody's best friend? Timothy Shallaman,
Shada Shallam, Ala ding Dong. I like to call him.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
Yeah, you would, He's gonna be you would call him
shallam malad.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
Yeah, he's gonna be his best friend because him and
Travis Scott.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
I have because tell me Timothy Shallomey and Travis Scott
at beef.

Speaker 3 (43:08):
Well, isn't Travis Scott? Or is that wrong? Isn't Travis
Scott the father? The father of Kylie Jenner's children?

Speaker 1 (43:14):
Who do you think you're talking to? Oh?

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Okay, well, Travis Scott I believe is Kylie Jenner's uh baby?
Why would I think Travis Scott is Kylie Jenner's baby's daddy.
So Timothy Shallomey would be like, get out of here,
I'll be your friend, Cody, don't worry.

Speaker 1 (43:29):
But also Timothy, Timothy shallome is with Kylie.

Speaker 3 (43:32):
Jenner that that woman, Yeah, woman choosing twenty five but
yeah thirty.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
First off, first off, twenty five year old is a
grown ass woman. How dare you?

Speaker 3 (43:40):
Okay anyway, I'll tear you, okay, okay, anyway. Cody's the
people's chump. I just hate seeing that. Cody just always
gets beat up, and it doesn't make me rude for him,
It doesn't make me empathize with him. It doesn't make
me feel bad for him. It just makes me be like,
you are ridiculous, Like this is so unnecessary. And it's
also also the beatdown was semi homo erotic, and I

(44:03):
was like, why is it going on for this long?
And why is it acting like that?

Speaker 1 (44:07):
Like it just didn't They needed to drive it home.
They couldn't. John seen his heel turn can't be anything. No, No,
I understand that long and and like he has, he
had to break out the And one thing I loved
about it. One thing I loved about it is the
fact that and I was surprised commentary wasn't aware they
got it wrong. They said brass nucks. But no, the
watch that Rock gifted Cody Roads after WrestleMania last year,

(44:30):
which was apparently Dusty Rhodes watch which he sold for
money to send Cody to acting screening. Cody always want
the watch but didn't know that he pawned it. Apparently
Rock got it and gifted it with him. That's the watch.
That watch is the watch that's Sina Nice somehow grabbed
used as brass knucks and boom knocked Cody's locked lights
out with So I love that touch.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
No, No, I love stuff like that, but I'm not talking.
I'm talking about how the drawn out was done. It
was very like it went on too long in the
what they were doing and transitioned in it.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
I liked it. I liked it because you you had
a crowd that was shocked. You had a crowd that
that did not believe what they were seeing. I understand
you had a crowd stop let me talk, no, wait
to talking about I'm talking. No you you stop? Oh
my god, like like you had. You had that crowd

(45:22):
ready for it, and they didn't know how to react.
So you had to keep them in that moment. You
had to keep shocking them. You had to keep pissing
them off. You had to condition them to boo and
hate this man and hate what the rocket caused, then
hate what Sina had done to them.

Speaker 3 (45:40):
They need to hate this man, right, But it can
be a faster moving long pace.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
There didn't have to be.

Speaker 3 (45:47):
It should have been because doing that it does come
off a little too much, and then it doesn't do
anything for Cody. And having Travis Scott hit him too,
that seemed unnecessary, like that doesn't I understand Maybe he
could have like fake kicked him or something, but like
the Travis Scott thing like that.

Speaker 1 (46:02):
Was not like it just I don't understand how John
cenas turned healing. You are complaining.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
I'm not complaining about John Cena. I'm complaining about Cody
Rhodes being a Trump.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
Why are you complaining? There's so much good to talk
about this segment. Why am I listening to you?

Speaker 3 (46:15):
Why he's salty?

Speaker 1 (46:17):
I have to talk about it?

Speaker 3 (46:18):
And the Rocks did not even do a scissor thing.
He did like he was wiping his chin with drool.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
It looks so stupid. I think The Rock, The Rock,
The Rock has really developed a lot of crange character traits.

Speaker 3 (46:30):
I think he was trying to like inconspiculous.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
Well, so there's still also a lot to look into.
Where the fact that when he did show up and
left at the Raw the Netflix premiere, he put up
three fingers and then while doing this, Yes, it looked
weird because he did like the knife thing, but he
did make a point of starting out with it too,
which is really the awkwardness and the cringe factor comes

(46:55):
into play. But once again that's something to pay attention.
This is number two that he's saying, so oh there
is talk and I love how it's so similar to
the nWo. But is there a third man? Is there
one more big shocker coming from the Final Boss? Is
there a one? Is the one him? Is he the
final one? Is one one of the ones? You know?

(47:17):
The bloodline? He he was aligned? I mean it seemed
like he was aligned. We thought he'd be aligned with
Solo and you know, we thought like that he might
have been loosely a part of that and then there's
been no connection since So does the bloodline? Does his
family get involved in his business? Does Roman Reigns get

(47:39):
involved in his business? Does Roman Reigns get involved in
Seth Rowlins's business?

Speaker 3 (47:43):
I was more so that you could draw and your face.

Speaker 1 (47:47):
No, no, he was trying to slit the throat. No
he was not.

Speaker 3 (47:51):
Watch it again he goes like this and then goes
like this up his face.

Speaker 1 (47:55):
Well yeah, because he wants to be dramatic and show
everybody what he's doing it like this. Okay, you know
what you can teach Dwayne Johnson at the slitest throat.

Speaker 3 (48:05):
I'm gonna have to geez low wheez jeez, no way.
But anyway, Yes, John Cena, is heel a lot of
my friends were texting me and they're like, I don't understand, like,
why is this a big deal? And I was explaining
to one of my friends. I was like, oh, well,
this this We'll have to tune in Friday to see
why he sold his soul in bof He's like, wow, you.

Speaker 1 (48:21):
Are crazy if you think John Sene is gonna be
on TV this Friday.

Speaker 3 (48:25):
Well, I said, we might have to wait till Friday.
And then I said and then I said, uh. He said, Oh,
I didn't realize wrestling was so intricate and there was
so much storyline. I was like, yeah, we watch wrestling
for storylines.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
I mean, it's funny because John Cena kind of sold
us on a retirement tour and then the year starts
and he's not immediately returning, and we're kind of caught
off guard. But we're just kind of like, Okay, obviously
he's got movies to film. Okay, obviously he's got to
go there. It's all right, Wrestleman's gonna pick up. I'm
sure I'll come back for the road WrestleMania a month before.

(48:57):
But now with this heel time and with what he
said in the past about what he would do if
and when he did turn heel where he wouldn't do
things to make the crowd like him, you know, k
fab or shoot, like he would work less hard, he
wouldn't show up as much. So now with him heel
and him seemingly not taking a break from making movies

(49:19):
for this final tour, maybe where I'm thinking, maybe we
only see him three more times before mate, if.

Speaker 3 (49:26):
That I mean his next month, I don't think we'll
see three.

Speaker 1 (49:29):
Maybe one more time, I don't I think we'll I
think we've got a lot of waiting to do before
we hear him speak on why he did what he did.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (49:36):
Uh, he might even do the old school Jericho thing
where he comes out, lets them boo him, and then
just drops the mic. I mean that's what he did
at the press conference, comes out, takes the microphone, drops
the microphone fantastic, Like I think we might get that
type of I don't care about. Like, he's not gonna
be the heel who's gonna tell the fans they suck
and have STDs, Like that's gonna be the Rocks thing scene,

(49:58):
is gonna be the heel that just doesn't he pay
attention to you? Anymore, Right, I think he's not going
to give you any reaction that that stone face that
he had when he turned or when we realized he
was gonna turn. Yeah, that might just be the resting
sena face for the next for the next month and
a half.

Speaker 3 (50:14):
I think John Cena the person is very excited to
finally be a heel. I bet you, because this whole
time he's been such babyface and like, I feel like
you can really get creative and be really like really
get into it as a heel. And he's so excited
about that.

Speaker 1 (50:28):
It's the perfect way to make this retirement tour truly exciting.
Whether he wins at WrestleMania and does become seventeen times
or or whether he doesn't. I think it has a
lot of intrigue, especially because of what we do and
don't know, whereas we don't know like if there's ever
gonna be a time this year where Sina does kind

(50:50):
of snap into full time mode and really start giving
us match after match after match to give us the
retirement tour we envisioned in our minds with him having
final and counters with old school rivals like Punk and
Orton and Miss and then possibly facing newer guys like
bron Breaker and Carmelo. But but does does this heel

(51:11):
turn mean that we're not going to get in many
appearances and we're only going to really see Johnsena give
us the hits, right?

Speaker 3 (51:17):
I also feel with this heel turn, John Cena is
not winning at WrestleMania like at all. I feel like
this is his way of being like, I'm a legend.
I'm going out on my back like all of them do,
and this is the perfect way.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
To do it.

Speaker 3 (51:29):
Because if he was a face, he wouldn't go like
it would be harder to convince us that he's not
gonna win. Now with this, I feel like he has
to lose.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
I don't know. I think if they and don't get
me wrong, you could easily be right. And once again,
I think Sena's schedule and how many dates we're really
getting after April is done, that says a lot also
about whether or not they really because because yeah, making
him seventeen times, that's great and there's a million reasons
why you should do it. However, and I understand his

(52:00):
comments about what he would do as a heel, he
wouldn't take as many dates, But I hate the heel
champion that doesn't show up, that Hollywood champion that I
have your belt, hostage the brock lesnar thing, and that
would be a horrible way to celebrate scene his finally
the year, and certainly a horrible way to have that
seventeen title rain go.

Speaker 3 (52:20):
It wouldn't even be a rain. It would just be
like him sitting at home, and we won't want that.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
Right now, With him turning heel, a part of me thinks,
maybe that does mean that he will actually be sticking
around and we're actually gonna see him have some fun
with the heel where it's not just gonna be a
quick program where he gives us three appearances in one promo, Like,
maybe he will actually get to, you know, dust off
his shoulders again and we'll see what this heel scene

(52:45):
looks like. I'm expecting a new heel theme, which he
said he made one for the original heel turn that
was supposed to happen versus the rock. How ironic is that.
I doubt he would use the same song he made
like ten years ago, but I do assume he'll have
a new song made. I assume that the jeorts will
get hung up in the rafters and we're gonna get
new sna ringing jeans.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
We're gonna get skinny jeans.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
I don't think it's gonna be skinny. Do I think
it's gonna be like like sweatpants or like like Adida's pants,
like workout pants, just real low effort.

Speaker 3 (53:17):
I hope not. I'm trying to think of what a
tire he would wear. But yeah, I mean, he can't
just black because he's so colorful, right, like his his
gear is.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
So yeah, million different colors, and now he's.

Speaker 3 (53:28):
Just gonna go black or gray. It's gonna be fucking weird.

Speaker 1 (53:31):
It's gonna yeah, I mean, I hope they don't make
us wait too long to see he'll see a hear from,
he'll see learn more about he'll see oh wait. But
I do think it's not gonna be for a while.
What's up though?

Speaker 3 (53:42):
If he's corporate, maybe he comes out in a suit.

Speaker 1 (53:45):
Oh my god. You know it's so funny the fact
that like we and commentary kind of let us in
that direction, also saying will Cody sell out? Will he
go corporate? Will he be the corporate champ? And thus
them all kind of just going with what the iwe
had in our head. But yeah, you're right. Seen as
the corporate it's so funny Sena and the Rock doing
this together. It's fucking iconic and not like not like.

Speaker 3 (54:07):
His plaid ostentatious suits, like just a plain like gray suit.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
Or like really like but that's also been done before,
so much like maybe he'll maybe he'll you hold up,
hold up, Maybe he'll dress because The Rock doesn't come
out wearing suits, right, Maybe he'll dress like the way
the Rock does with the Hawaiian shirts and like the
chest all out. He'll come glasses looking all Miami vice out.

Speaker 3 (54:32):
The chest out would be freaking hilarious, Like I would
just have to laugh at it.

Speaker 1 (54:36):
It's so like, maybe he dresses like I just don't
like he was stun not like a corporate schmoke, but
just like a Hollywood I don't care about anyone type
of dude.

Speaker 3 (54:45):
Interesting. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
There's so many ways they can go with this.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
I mean, nobody's I don't really think anybody's caring about
Hodie right now. I think everybody's caring about our truth.
I feel bad for our truth, yo.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
That I feel bad for us, Yeah, because the truth
is that there's no way they commit to this, Sena,
heel turn the way we know they're going to without
our Truth having to take the beating of a lifetime. No,
I don't think our Truth makes it to WrestleMania. No,

(55:16):
there's no way around it. There's no way that they don't,
especially because they are committed to making Sina hate us. Right,
they need to do the equivalent of what New Day
was able to do without even having to put hands
on somebody, just by flat out deserting their brother big E.
Sena can't do truth with his words. Truth is a
wrestler who's medically cleared. So unfortunately, Sena is going to

(55:40):
beat the living shit out of this man. Truth is
going to bleed, he might get feud off the stage.
Through five tables, Truth will finally have reason to not
know what day it is when this beating happens. And
I'm gonna hate to watch it, but it's it's it
has to happen.

Speaker 3 (55:59):
He's gonna go through five tables and then he's gonna
get everything right and have very good vocabulary. He's gonna
talk out Cody Rhoades using sat words, I almost words.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
The beatdown's gonna happen, and all of a sudden, Truth's
confusion will completely end.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
It will completely end. He'll be like, oh, John Cena's here, John,
you came in after me, remember when I was signed,
And he'll just start talking completely normal, and we'll all
be confused.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
It'll be like Dave Chappelle's little John impression. Yes, yes,
but yeah, man, it finally happened, and now we wait
and see what comes next. With John Cena as a heel,
it should be exciting. There's so many ways they can
go with it.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (56:39):
With CM Punkin Seth Ronds, we know the way they're going,
which is that they hate each other. We'll always hate
each other. CM Punkin Seth Ronalds will fight forever. This
was one of the best, if not my favorite pull
apart brawl in WW history.

Speaker 3 (56:54):
Really was.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
This brawl was so well done. It was the promo,
the promo that came before it was well done. The
way these two were able to just snap their fingers
and go right back into hating each other. Elimination Chamber
really set it up perfectly. The promo battle was great,
and then the way they did it where they had
they had me going with some good near falls, for

(57:16):
lack of a better term, where I thought it was
actually over, and then it continues and then it goes
back and the way the crowd constantly got live for it,
and the way it was done where they really just
were desperate. Punk looked like if there was a pair
of scissors anywhere in his vicinity, somebody would have been dead.
Like they looked like they wanted to kill each other,
murder each other. And yeah, I thought they they did

(57:40):
a great job of playing with the crowd, getting them high,
getting them low, letting them calm down, letting them accept
it was over. Oh shit, it ain't over there going
back and going back.

Speaker 3 (57:49):
Even during the rumble they did this too, and it
was so fantastic to watch that too. It's just everything
has been so well done with their feud and it
goes back to when Cethrols used to talk shit about
him on Twitter. So it's like a little bit of
shoot with a little bit of k fame and it's
been Yeah, it's been wonderful.

Speaker 1 (58:05):
Yeah, I love that it didn't stop so like they
went to commercial and they were pulled apart. It thought
it was over, but then you see online when it
gets posted that no. During the commercial break, they were
still fighting in front of the live crowd. Then throughout
the show we see them backstage continue to go back
at it. You know what. It reminded me of the
family guy Peter, Peter and the Chicken. Oh yeah, Peter,

(58:28):
every time they see each other, going the roostered chicken whatever.

Speaker 3 (58:31):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I love it. I
think it's so good. I mean yeah, and they're gonna
have to fight a wrest.

Speaker 1 (58:37):
I mean, the streets are saying that Roman Reigns might
find his way into this, so also the well because
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have unfinished business. We last
saw Roman Rains taking that curve stomp aft out after
the rule.

Speaker 3 (58:51):
I thought of Drew for a second. I was like,
are they going to do a tag match?

Speaker 1 (58:54):
But who was seam Punk? Seam Punk and Roman Reigns
don't have any love loss. Seam Punk had beef with
him in the Roman in the Royal Rumbo kind of
a little bit like they were going back and forth. Also,
Ciampunk still has that favor from Hayman, so we don't
know if Roman Reign's getting involved might lead to something
big happening in Mania. I also think Drew would be

(59:15):
a good orth person to get involved in this because
Drew constantly hates all of them as well, Drew no
like legit.

Speaker 3 (59:22):
And funny how you said, you're like Drew hates all.

Speaker 1 (59:24):
Of them, he does, and like Drew and Roman never
really got the finish, Like Drew just hates everyone who
messes with Roman, but him and Roman never really go
at it. So it's like that could work. I've heard
Drew and Danian Priest was the plan for WrestleMania, but
I feel like I haven't gotten any fire real lit
under that, and they had an opportunity going into Chamber
and in the chamber it might still be that, but

(59:46):
I don't know if that is still the plan right,
I don't know, but.

Speaker 3 (59:49):
I could see Drew doing it and then doing a tag.
Like you said, we have to get people on the
card because there's a lot of single matches happening up
and this is the way to do it.

Speaker 1 (59:56):
Yeah, one hundred percent. Speaking of getting people on the card,
I was thinking there might be new plans for Penta
for Mania with Ray Phoenix on the way. Ray Phoenix
officially becoming a free agent released from his contract from
aew and I believe comes with no restrictions. I'll be honest,
I expected him to show up on RAW. Really, you

(01:00:16):
know how I booked my head and convinced myself things
are gonna happen. I convinced myself that the Creed Brothers
were actually going to beat the Viking Raiders win the
tag team titles. And then I thought out would come
Pentha with Phoenix, and everyone would be like, oh my god,
you know, and that would kind of be they wouldn't
get involved in the tag division. I mean, it still

(01:00:38):
seems like Penta and Phoenix will be teaming. There's gotta
be a reason why Pentha's been simultaneously shooting with both
Ludwig and Pete Dunn, who is not They're not a
team at all, So I don't know. Granted, I also
feel like I'm curious if they start teasing Ray Phoenix's
debut like they did with Penta, or if they just

(01:00:58):
kind of allow the rumors to take on a whole
life of their own and they can kind of then
pick their spot to finally just bring him in and
team up with Penta again.

Speaker 3 (01:01:07):
Right, So I don't know. Yeah, and they'll probably team
him up with Pento, But we just have to figure
out how to get there and then they can.

Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
I mean Chad Gable, who has had a little bit
of history with Lucha's he's training currently to be to
be the grand Master. He's apparently going to have to
become Luca. He was gifted something in a box by
a mysterious, mysterious old mentor of his, so uh, we don't.
Maybe Gable will somehow be involved in Ray Phoenix's debut.

(01:01:36):
Gable's so good. I really hope they're working on a
good We finally saw him again with our updates of
his Luca conquests and travels. I hope it leads him
to a WrestleMania match. It's so tough to find spots
for all the people that deserve it, so I.

Speaker 3 (01:01:50):
Really hope why they have to do two nights man
or they would have like twenty matches in one for
the night. Yeah, which I feel like we've sat through before.

Speaker 1 (01:01:57):
Definitely last and talking about where we call this one
an episode? Yet another new champion. Eo Sky not the
only one celebrating this week because.

Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
Sean Spears Wow, the former Perfect Ten, the former chairman,
is currently the North American Champion.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
Let's clap our hands brief brief round of a golf
clap for Tony D'Angelo. Very very nice reign. And you know,
all NXC champions have to drop that title sooner than later.
That's just the nature of the beast, especially as we
approach WrestleMania season. So I think I'm hoping Tony and
the family get to move up to the main roster together.
That rarely happens.

Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
I like this whole persona, and you think this persona
wouldn't work. It's always so weird to me. I always
feel like it's not gonna work because you have.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
To do it right. You have to do it right. Yeah,
I really like it. They have Sewn Spears though. Good
for him. Man, it's it's so funny. We have such
a good time looking at the people from any other
company who come on over and we just we felt
there could have been better usage for them, whether it's
etan Page where we've been screaming he should be treated

(01:03:11):
as a main eventor for years comes in NXT and
within the first month he's treated as a main event
or established as one. Sean Spears has always been someone
that has always been able to get a connection going
with the fans, always been able to constantly switch up
his gimmick, switch up his wrestling style, switch up his character,
and make it work so very rewarding to see him

(01:03:32):
get rewarded. He with it with a championship run here
with his new stable in.

Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
Tow him and Andrade I always put in the same
category with They had that run on NXT where they
were there for so long and they weren't champions and then,
you know, ANDRADI moved on obviously, But like I feel
like Sean Spears was just stuck, you know what I mean.
I feel like he was so stuck in NXT and
then kind of when he moved up, nothing really happened
with that and it was this whole thing and then
he had to leave. But I'm glad he came back
and now he's getting recognized for the competitive wrestler he

(01:03:59):
is because I always put him in the cot that
they never really did anything. He was such a loved
person with a good gimmick on NXT and they never
really did anything with.

Speaker 1 (01:04:08):
Right, exactly interesting. The future is so bright for NXT,
and it's crazy. I haven't gotten a chance to watch it. Yet,
which is why we'll have to talk about this the
next time. Hopefully we'll both get just to watch it.
But Evolve has started debuting. I haven't watched it yet,
but from what I've been heard, Evolved seems very has
an underground feeling similar to that of the early NXT days,

(01:04:31):
very much developmental, and I think that's because NXT, after
kind of the two point zero reboot, has now reached
the stage where their stars are legitimate stars. It's not
filled with developmentals, not filled with new faces. It still
is very much that. But it's crazy because like the
women's division in particular is thriving. So many of those

(01:04:53):
women who are the shining stars and that had been
getting so much praise to deserveably so they are relatively new,
like love most of them, most of them are.

Speaker 3 (01:05:04):
Very relatively new, but they're all getting these shots, and
I'm yeah, I'm excited. I gotta you know, we have
a special place for Evolve, So I'm definitely looking forward
to watching that and really like looking because I liked
Evolve too, because it was kind of scouting. When you
watch you know, you're like.

Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
I've also enjoyed the new show wwe LFG legends and
future greats. Yeah, because it's also it's another developmental thing
where it's like these people are all signed by them,
but we now are have to we have to understand
the difference. Just because you're signed to ww Performance that
it does not mean you're gonna be wrestling for NXT.

(01:05:39):
It doesn't even mean you have an NXT deal. There's
now differences. So like everyone on this show, which reminds
me a bit of tough Enough, except and tough Enough,
it was obviously nobody was hired for w W right.
These are all people, every single one of these contestants.
WWE wants to see them succeed. They've all been hired
for a reason. The goal is not to find one

(01:05:59):
winner and one star and everyone else gets shelved like
Tough Enough has done. The goal is for all these
people to explode on this show. But one person, of course,
will be the grand champion early two rather one male,
one woman and seeing Undertaker and Booker T and Mickey
James and Bubba Ray Dudley have invested interests in this. Also,

(01:06:23):
there's this one guy bj I think bj Ray is
his name. He's kind of like he wants to be
the Dickhead of the show. He's the miss, he's the
logan Paul, and he went out of his way to
it's so funny. They had him cut a promo, and
to me, it was a horrible promo, Like it wasn't
even a promo. He spoke for like twenty seconds and
just laughed and then was like, so, what do you

(01:06:44):
guys think? So, and they're like, is that was that
a promo? Give me something real? So then he goes
in on Bubba Ray and kind of shoots on them. Yeah,
and they're like, that was good, we liked that. But
then he kind of doubled down, like, I'm glad you
like it because it was real. That's how I feel.
And all of a sudden, now he's verging on disrespectful
and like doing too much, and Undertaker's getting pissed off
and then of course predictably uh and and the way

(01:07:07):
they did it was just a draw. But he ends
up drawing Bubba Ray as his coach. And so it
seems like he's put himself in a position where the
story can be on him because you can watch him
grow from Dickhead to a mature, respected guy, or the
eyes are on him because you just want to see
Bully Ray humble this man and you never want to

(01:07:28):
see him become a star at all, but he's smart.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
You always have to.

Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
There's also Maxine Dupre's fiance and Rock San Perez's boyfriend
on there, and that's been brought up in promo battles.
Uh So, yeah, it's a it's a fun thing, but
once again, just another stage of developmental. You've got these
are the PC guys, You've got the evolves going to
be home for the w WWB I D people. So
it's like two different levels of a developmental and NXT

(01:07:55):
kind of just being a and TNA, TNA being a developmental.
A Phoenix listened to NXT. NXT fens the main roster.
There's a lot of crazy times. It's a crazy time
wrestling band.

Speaker 3 (01:08:06):
I mean, if we had to sit down and watch
all of wrestling, we would never watch anything else or work.
That's what I feel like, right exactly every single thing.
I mean, I watch as much as I can, but
you know it's yeah, exactly, and I can't believe John
Cena is heal. I did not have that on my
twenty twenty five bingo card.

Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
Hey, Babyface, time is up. Heal time is now, Heal.
