Ladies and gentlemen, fans and friends, we are back once again.
I'm the Custodian of Charisma, the optimologist of optimism. She's

the ghost, she is the Coat. I am Brady, she
is Danielle. Together we have the best best friends in
all the land. Together we are the heal Marks. And
(01:09):
this is our ae W n jp W Forbidden Door Predictions.
We've also got our NXT heat Wave Predictions. They're coming
out at the same time, so I'm not sure which
one you're listening to first, but hopefully you enjoyed them both,
but this one is one hundred percent ae W and
(01:29):
New Japan Forbidden Door Predictions. Dan, Yelle, are you ready
for this one?
Speaker 4 (01:37):
I am ready for this one. Let's do it.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
It should be a fun show. They got a lot
of matches, so let's get into it. We've got the
first one, Team Good Guys. We've got Kenny Omega, Coda,
Ibushie Darby, Allen Tanahashi, and Will Ospray. Even though Ospray
just said on TV he's not cleared, this is happening anyway.
(02:01):
It's a lights out steel cage match. Apparently ae W
is not even responsible for what happens to him. He's
taking on the Death Riders, the Young Bucks and Gabe Kid,
and you'll kick us off. Who you got?
Speaker 4 (02:15):
I love gayk Gabe Kid. I love him. I think
he's fantastic. I love watching him.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
He's great.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
You said you said I was think Golden Lovers, and
I was like, oh, they love it. That's not a song.
I think I gotta go a Team good Guy. I
think Team Good Guys winning. I think we got a
lot of powerhouses on that side. And I would like
to see the Young Bucks lose for a change, So
I am going to go with king good guys.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah, I I feel like exactly. I think they want
to keep the young bucks just bad things happening to
them going. So I'm also going with a team good
guy win. My if I had to throw an extra
guest in there, I'd say Darby gets the pin. For
some reason. Jarby just he's got all the momentary loves
him right now. Yeah, he's fresh off Mount Everest. Nothing
(03:07):
can touch him, nothing can hurt him. He feels no pain.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
I think will Offsbury is gonna get the pin.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Oh aren't you fancy? Now let's go into the ae
W Tag Team Championships. We got the Hurt Syndicate defending
against Brodido and ft R three way Tag Team elimination match.
(03:34):
I I feel like with this one, this one's tough
for me to call only because and I can't tell
if this is just like if I'm if it's if
it's w w B booking, and I'm just kind of
scared that they would do it because I've seen it
happen so much, or if what I'm thinking is one
(03:54):
hundred percent what they would do, because it's what they
would do after this. After this, I think FTR goes
on the feud with the newly reformed tag team of
Edge and Christian. So with that happening, I could see
them wanting that few to be for the tag titles.
(04:16):
In fact, I could see them wanting to make Edge
and Christian, Adam Copeland and Christian tag team champions like
I could see Tony wanting to do that. It's not
that out there, so a part of me feels like
there's a very good chance FTR wins this. Also, I'm
(04:37):
not really sure what's going on with the Hurts and
It get anymore that whole I thought it was really
working with MJF, but then it just boom, the rug
comes out of nowhere. But then MJF seemingly gets a
new three person stable to watch his back out of
out of thin air, and the Hurt Syndicate where you like,
(04:59):
I'm I'm just not really sure what goes on anymore.
So I don't necessarily think the Hurts and Kids should
lose the titles. I don't, but I could see FTR
pulling it off. So I'm just gonna go with that
that wild guess, and I think FTR becomes the tag
champs here.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
I like it. It's a fun uh, it's a fun
little little guess. I'm I'm confused with this as well
because I they put FDR. They they put so much
on them, I guess ever since like they left WWE,
and it's always like them, them, them, But I feel
like they never shoot up the way I want them to.
(05:41):
I can see the FDR and and Adam Copeland and
Christian feud. I kind of am hoping for that because
I think that will be like see I hope it's
not for the tag title.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
It's definitely happening. And the question is do they do
they include the tag titles.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
I'm gonna I'm not gonna lie. I would love to
see brody King win it tags out because I love
brush ching.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Brosito has becomes such a fun tag team fantastic.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
Tim rody King is so underrated in my opinion, Like
he's so fun to watch. I love watching him. With
that being said, I do think the Hurt Syndicate is
going to retain.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
I hope you're right. I love as Chance and I
feel like that should continue, especially now that they lost
MJF and MJF is headed right for like he's got
the World Championship match. He doesn't even have to cash
in his you know, his contract for it. So MJF
his position exactly where he wants to be, right near
(06:37):
the main event, seeing the world title. He's Hangman's rival,
he's the rival of whoever holds that championship, and the
Hurt Syndicated are seemingly further down the ladder than he is.
So to make it work, like you really do, there
needs to be a concentrated effort to keep the Hurt
Syndicate up there and relevant and not feel like they
(06:58):
kicked out what could have been their meal ticket instead
of you know, it was being portrayed that thirdon' go
was mjf's meal ticket. They were gonna help him rise
to the top and do everything. Can he really just
go to the back look and see the first group
of three men hanging out with nothing to do and
just say, hey, you know what I mean? Like, it
really feels like MJF replaces them so fast, so I
(07:19):
hope there needs to be anear It seem like they're
they're just as money as ever. On to the next one.
We've got the aw Unified Championship Okada versus Swerve Strickland Oka.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Uh sorry, I'm very excited about this. This is gonna
be a great match. I'm very excited for this match.
I do think Okada's retaining just because I feel like
after this we can do something else with Swerve. Swarves
so frigging good, But I think Okada is going to retain.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, well so, I actually just read before we started
recording this that Swerve has apparently been wrestling for like
an insane amount of months with a meniscus tear so
and I'm not sure why I didn't really click the article.
I don't think. I kind of just saw the headline
(08:20):
floating around in different Twitter posts and including one from Fiful.
But it's one of those things where I don't know
why either he or the press would put that information
out now. It's like, just wait a week past this match,
then make it clear. But due to the fact that
(08:40):
information is out now, I'm kind of assuming. Yeah, Okada
keeps it and Swerve goes off to have I don't
know if it's surgery or just he needs to rest,
but you know it does think he needs some recovery
time at the very least. Yeah, this one's gonna be
a good one. We've got timeless Tony Storm defending the
(09:02):
Women's World Heavyweight Championship against Athena, the forever r OH
Women's Champion.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
I looked it up because I'm like, she's still champ, right,
and I was like, yeah she is. I was like,
yeah she is. I don't I think Tony's retaining because
I don't think this will hurt Athena at all because
Athena is the r OH Women's champion. I don't think
this will hurt her at all to lose. I think,
if anything, this will elevate her because Tony's gonna do
(09:32):
some fun stuff to retain. And I think it's like
she's gonna kiss her or lick her or do something
weird to like get out Athena out of it and
cost her to win. So I think Tony's retained.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Yeah, this one's This one's tough. It's one of those
where like because they they have done such a good
job of protecting to an extent Athena kid, like they
kind of they you know, really had her isolated to roh.
But on roh, she was unstoppable, she was unbeatable, she
(10:10):
was untouchable. Still is and on a W even in
some defeats here and there, they've always established her as
a true threat. And she did look extremely strong on
Dynamite even during the tag match, constantly, you know, looking
like the big sister to little sister Mercedes, like get
(10:30):
it together, Mercedes, and Mercedes never really got back in
her face. It was she was always happened to be
on the floor when like Athene would yell at her.
So it was one of those where like Athena and
Athena got the W with that huge finish. It was beautiful.
So like the momentums there, uh and timeless Tony has
(10:51):
been known to put over somebody like Athena in the past.
I could easily see it going Athena's way. Also, I'm
looking at the card as a whole, and I'm looking
at my predictions as a whole. I don't really think
I have any surprises, like any big surprises picked. I
mean FTR winning tag titles. Maybe that that could be
(11:14):
a big but not really like everything else. I'm kind
of going the predictable row champions retaining stuff like that.
So this could be the surprise out there that no
one seens coming. This could be the big win. I
don't know. I'm not going out on the limb for it.
I'm sticking with timeless Tony Storm to retain. But the
fact sur But yeah, and also, you know, while MJF
(11:39):
has managed to have his Championship act without cashing in
his contract, Athena is not so lucky. So Athena lous.
The sheet is seemingly out of contention for a while.
It's one of those things where I kind of wish
if I was booking, I think I would give it
to Athena, But for some reason, I'm just not sure
we're there yet, so I'm sticking with time Less on
(12:00):
this one. I like it. Let's go into the aforementioned
reunion of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage taken on kill Switch.
That's right, Lucasaurus is back and Kip Sabi and Nick
Wayne is hurt, so he is out, but replaced by
the monster that is Lucrosaurus aka kill Switch. Adam Copeland
(12:26):
and Christian Cage not necessarily on the same page. According
to Christian They're not even writing in the same book,
but they are unified in hatred. They are back together. So, Danielle,
do you think Cope and Cage are getting it done,
or will everything Christian Cage has done come back to
haunt them in this one.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
I think they are going to win.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Who's they?
Speaker 4 (12:52):
I think you said, are they going to win? And
I said yes, what.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
I said I said names, and you just said they.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
I think Christian and am Copeland will win. I just
there's just something about it. I just think they'll win.
I think people want to see them win, no matter
if they're a heel face whatever. People love am Copeland,
and I think that even though this could be a
match where they would let kill Switch and Kip Saban
win to make them look good, I don't think that's
what Tony has in the cards, and I think am
(13:23):
Copeland and Christian are well.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
The interesting thing is that if it was and this
is of course, assuming that the injury is one hundred
percent legit wasn't storyline related, wasn't planned. If it was
Kip Sabian who had the injury and this tag team
had become Nick, Wayne and Lucasaurus, I feel like I'd
be more hesitant, where like a party would be like hum,
(13:45):
maybe maybe they might actually give it to them, especially
since they are kind of giving us a nice slow
build to the real you know, reuniting of what I
guess would be C and C instead of being you know,
like they're real league, keeping Christian Cage's heel character alive
for now as they build to it. So a loss
(14:07):
to these guys who do you know this this stable
being led now by Nick Wayne does need momentum. You
do need to kind of allow this heel turn to
propel them and not feel like they're just you know,
falling to these guys. So it wouldn't it wouldn't be
the worst thing to let Lucasaurus get a big win
(14:27):
here in his return, especially if you reveal that Nick
Wayne is not actually hurt and then he gets involved
to help them, and it really was a ploy he
really learned from Christian Cage. Fuck. I hate doing this
to myself. I talk myself in there doing all the
thinking that keep see being and kills what you're gonna win.
But I'm sticking with my pick. Copeland and Christian Cage
(14:48):
win this. As I said, they go on to face
FTR for possibly the Tag Team Championships if I'm right
on that one too. But shit, I talked so much
that now I think that they're gonna have Copeland and
Cage actually build up to beating these guys, and they
might do it like in a month or two, but no,
we're sticking with it coping Cage for the win.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Is this main eventing?
Speaker 2 (15:11):
I don't think so. Oh, I mean Hangman and Adam
Paige versus MJF one hundred percent be Man eventing. I
can't imagine why that wouldn't That seems like a no
brainer to me right now? Fast forward to the future,
Copeland and Cage versus FTR for the Tag Team Championships
at whatever paper they do that, maybe maybe it Maine Events.
(15:34):
But I don't think they're giving Kiff sab In the
main event spot for this view. I mean nothing against Kip.
I just don't see them doing it, not over Hangman
in MJF. Zach Saber Junior versus Nigel McGuinness for the
IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Danielle, who you get? What do
you think is happening?
Speaker 4 (15:54):
I love that Nigel McGuinness is in this picture. This
makes me very happy. I love Nigel McGinness. I do, however,
love Zach Saber Junior just as much and as you
know our dear friend Debbie dev loves Zack Saber Junior.
With that being said, I got a root for my man,
Zach Saber Junior. I think Zach Zaber Junior is retaining
(16:15):
and yeah, that's what I think's happening.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Yeah, I also see it happening. I could see the
Daniel Garcia heel turn finally happening again, since that just
it feels like it's only a matter of time, and
why not on someone like Nigel who's going to put
on an amazing performance, get an amazing reception from the crowd,
most likely get a standing ovation after this match is done,
(16:42):
which would just be a perfect setup for literally anyone
to take him out. And as long as you do
it the right way, he doesn't need to get stretched out.
We're not going to see him again for a while,
you know, like we don't. He's not a usual appearance,
So it's one of those things where you can have
him sell that injury for a while and give the
(17:02):
newly heeled person of your choosing, which in this case
I think would be Daniel Garcia a nice heat for
the next few months. So yeah, I'm going with Zach
Saber and a possible, he'll turn for mister Garcia.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
We got a fatal four way match for the ae
wtvs Championship, and I gotta say Mercedes Mone will be
retaining it.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
I love what she's doing and then, like people will
hate on her having so many championships, but the more
you hate on it, the more they have to do it,
the more it's just something that becomes more money. And
the fact that she's now attached her titles to like
the side of her gear so she can do her
(17:53):
dance and the titles almost look like a skirt. She's
turned her championships into a skirt. Champion chips are fashionable now,
like she is money, And uh yeah, I say she
retains against Alex windsor Persephone and Bozilla.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
I hate to burst your bubble, but I completely agree
with you. I think Mercedes Money is retaining. It's just
so good what they're doing with her, and like like
you said, the more you hate it, the more they
got to roll with it. And she's doing the beat
collector the correct way. She's doing it with style, not
like all these other guys who just carry it around.
(18:29):
They're like, I don't know what to do with it now,
she knows what she's doing with it. She's gonna wanta
and rub it in your face constantly, and I one
hundred percent think she's rotating.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Everyone can do the ultimate dragon, just drape it over
your arms, but nah, nobody has made it a fashion accessory.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Yeah, fantastic.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Yeah. Also, we can't forget the fact that we did
recently see Mercedes lose to Tony Storm. You can't have
her just losing to anyone, you know, especially with all
the championships. Tony Storm is obviously a special case. She
is the world champion for a reason. I don't think
anyone right now in this match has been built up
to the point where they can add themselves to that
(19:09):
exclusive club. So let's move on right into Kyle Fletcher
the proto Star versus Takahashi for the ae WTNT Championship.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Man, I love Kyle Fletcher. I love Kyle Fletcher so
much that even if I thought somebody else was winning,
I'd still go Kyle Fletcher because Kyle Fletcher's too good.
Kyle Fletcher deserves this championship. Kyle Fletcher is the TNT
Champion and will retain as TNT champ.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Yeah, I agree, Kyle Fletcher has to retain, and much
like when we talked way back when about Cayle Fletcher's
roh TV title run, it has to be. It should
be a very special case where he loses it. And
since this is on AWTV, the TNT Championship is always
been taken care of. I do have faith that, unlike
the r h TV Championship, you just tuned in one
(20:05):
day and it wasn't champion anymore, and it happened that
like in your show in Mexico that wasn't even aired.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
Oh yeah, I remember. I remember us texting each other
and we're like, I was like, Fletcher lost a championship.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Yeah, exactly. So I think I think Fletcher definitely retains this.
Uh there's Fletcher is so good, He's so much the future.
He's been now and he will continue to be the
T and D champion right into what I think should
be and there's no reason it shouldn't be the main event.
(20:40):
Hangman Adam Page against MJF four the ae W World
Heavyweight Championships. Poundouts and just qualifications can cause a new
champion for this match. Per the stipulations that MJF demanded,
Poor Mark Briscoe almost got set on fire. I love
(21:02):
how let two people try to fight on the ramp
and security just empties backstage. But when somebody's seemingly backstage
seconds away from being set on fire, there's not security,
there's no producers, nobody.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
They don't want to get set on fire too, well.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Somebody should have a fire exting with sure. At least
if you're gonna like see you know you don't want
to get hit somewhere.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
You know who would never let that happen. You know,
would never let that happen. Scooby Doo, Da Well, Dallas,
I should say Dallas would.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
Never let that happen, right, Dallas would never never let
that happen. He knows exactly.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
He would have like a little one come out of
his back pocket.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Imagine a pocket fire extinguisher.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
I bet you he does. I'm gonna ask him.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
So the fact that they went out of their way
to make sure that MJF does still have his contract
contractual obligated championship match, it makes it more likely that
Hangman would win this. He should win this. The Hangman
just became champ and died. The monstrous reign of John
(22:14):
Moxley we just got the tile back. For it to
go back to being the Triple B so fast after
that would almost feel like, I don't know, like a
little manipulative of the fans emotions to the point where,
and don't get me wrong, you'd get great reactions. They
could have MJF win then lose to Hangman in like
(22:35):
three months and MJF still has that contra actually abligated
championship match. But I don't. I just feel like they're
gonna have Hangman defeat the odds, get it done against MJF,
and yet MJF will still be able to talk to
talk and walk the walk because he still has his
championship match.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Agreed, I a lot of this I agree with. I
don't think that they should take the title off of Page.
Like you said, he just got it, like aw was
having a problem for a long time with ending pay
per views, like sad, like we all were like upset,
like taking forever for Swerve to win, taking forever for paid,
(23:16):
Like why is this a continuous thing for us being
disappointed after disappointment, Where you have something good now people
wanted Page to be it. Let Page roll with it.
It's not going to affect MJF. Like you said, he
still has his contract or agreement for you know, he's
not losing it, so he could still flaunt that and
still be hold it over Page's head, which will make
for excellent storytelling. So you don't need to have MJF
(23:40):
win just now like he doesn't. It doesn't need to
be a thing like let Page build up as the
champion he is and have him have good defenses. So
with that being said, you.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
Know Ricochet and and the Gates of Agony they are.
You know, they've been rolling together now with MJF. They
were as aplis and almost setting Mark Brisco on fire.
They're a good chance they get involved in this match,
even though they're like disqualifications you know, will end it.
(24:11):
He doesn't want that to happen. So, but I do
feel like they might get involved. The question is just
Mark Brisco get involved to help out hang In? Is
it somebody just maybe the Hurt business come out and
get involved. So it's it's one of those things where
I do feel like the finish may involve other people
other than just these two guys. But yeah, hang In
(24:34):
at Page Routines.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
Yeah, definitely think that. I think this is going to
be a good pay per view. I think the pacing
will be really good, hopefully.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
I wish WW and AEW wouldn't. I'm sorry not AW.
They had nothing to do with this. I wish wwe
wouldn't insist that we choose either an heat wave or
forbidden Door. I wish they would just give us one
on a Saturday one on a Sunday, allow res slink
bands to enjoy as much as we want. But no,
(25:03):
they have to try to fight each other.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
For all the complaining I ever did about pay per
views being on a Sunday, I miss them on Sunday
because now I feel like I don't go to people's
houses as much. I kind of just sit home and
watch it and like text or like do other things
to like communicate with other people watching it, you know
what I mean. Or I go because I'm only like, oh,
I'll work the next day. Maybe it's because I work
from home now, but like, I miss them on Sundays
(25:29):
now because I feel like Saturday is my day to
do stuff and now I can't do stuff because I
need to watch wrestling.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Well, now you've got it. You got two pay per
views on a Sunday and now and then next Sunday,
you've got a brunch pay per view that you can
watch during the day.
Speaker 4 (25:40):
Oh, runch. You know how much I hate brunch.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Oh you don't have that brunch. I'm just saying you'll
watch it at two in the afternoon.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
That's brunch at lunch.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
The lunch two in the afternoon is lunch.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
What time's lunch? Lunch is well, twelve to three, twelve
to three, right.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
But brunch is eleven to three.
Speaker 4 (26:03):
Brunch is the stupidest thing ever created. I digress. This
is a whole other conversation I hated so much. Guys,
