that we can get them some assistance. Amen. Let's goodby
for father and prayer. Family, Father, we thank and praise
you yet for another wonderful and beautiful day. Father, Father God.

(03:39):
We asked that she will take our words, O God,
and let our tongues and our mouths be faithful or
God to speak your word, to speak what is true,
to speak what is honorable. Father, Father God. We thank you,
Father God. We give you all the praise, honor, and glory.
We ask Father God for your anointing and blessing to
be on the today as we keep our minds staying

(04:03):
on You, as we come to abide in the branch,
so that we can bear much fruit. And God's people said, Amen,
all right. So the Gospel of John, we are looking
at the final days of the life of Christ. A

(04:25):
little bit of background. Judas just left what we call
the Last Supper. He went out into darkness. He walked
away from Jesus. Every time we walk away from Jesus,
we're walking into darkness. So that he could betray him.

(04:46):
And right after that, Jesus started ministering to the disciples.
He started worshiping, praising God. And so we come into
these conversations we get to hear the intimate words that
were spoken to his disciples and so that these words
can drop into our spirits as well. John reveals his

(05:07):
identity as the disciple whom Jesus loves, and we need
to take on that same identity as well. I need
you to say it out loud, if you're able to
just confess it right now. I am the disciple whom
Jesus loves. Hey man, let's do this again, but let's

(05:28):
say it together and a count of three, one, two, three,
I am the disciple whom Jesus loves. We need to
get that into our DNA. We need to make that
our identity right for life is not your job. It's
not what you do your career, it's not anything else

(05:51):
that this world has to offer. Our true identity lies
in Christ. Amen. So now we're talking about we talk
about discipleship all the time on this platform, but we're
really gonna look into it. We're really gonna see where
the rubber meets the road, right, We're really gonna see
what you discipleship looks like. And this is how our

(06:16):
lives should look. Amen. So we're gonna take it from
verse one and we're gonna go verse one and two.
As I said earlier, coming at you from the new
King James, and it says, I am the vine, and

(06:37):
my father is a vine dresser. Every branch in me
that does not bear fruit he takes away. In every
branch that bears fruit, he prunes that it may bear
more fruit. Now, this is both awesome and scary, because

(07:02):
if you don't bear fruit, the Father is going to
remove you and take you away and belove it. That
is not good. And even if you bear fruit, you're
still gonna get pruned. Right, So either way we're gonna
get cut. Now. Jesus often used illustrations for daily Life

(07:25):
to reveal spiritual truths. Here he compares himself as a vine,
the source of life and fruitfulness. Now the Father tends
to the branches, pruning them so they'll grow stronger and
bear more fruit. Pruning represents discipline and refining, not punishment.

(07:52):
But you can say it's preparation. Now, listen, family, pruning
it'll hurt. It doesn't feel that, like I said, is cut.
We're getting cut. God is cutting things out of our lives.
Can you allow God to correct you? Can you allow God?
We should constantly be going through this process where things

(08:13):
are being cut out of our lives. God will cut
away things that aren't fruitful, things that are toxic, like
toxic relationships will get prune, bad habits will get pruned,
or even comfort zones will get prune. But he's not

(08:37):
cutting you off. He's cutting you back so you can
grow forward. Growth requires it. Growth requires pruning. And be
glad that you're in that process because the only option
is to be cut off and removed. And we're talking

(08:58):
about those who weren't in the vine. Think about it.
If they were never in the vine, they would not
have the option to be cut off and taken away.
So we definitely have to make sure that we are

(09:21):
bearing fruits and our lives are looking more and more
like Jesus. Amen. All right, all right, let's go to
verse three and five. You are already clean because of

(09:45):
the word which I have spoken to you. Now look
at how powerful the word is. The word is able
to cleanse us. And the word is the only thing
that can cleanse us. Not our own attitudes, not our
own thoughts, not our own habits, not our own efforts.
It's only in the word. Now, verse four says, abide

(10:07):
in me and I in you, as a branch can
bear as a branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless
it abides in the vine. Neither can you unless you
abide in me. Amen, I am. Now this is another

(10:31):
I am statement. Let me know that in Exodus God
revealed himself to Moses as I am. He's talking about
his deity. He is God in the flesh. He says
that I am the vine. You are the branches. Who

(10:52):
abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit.
Or without me you can do nothing. Now that is
a memory verse that's powerful. We need to remember this
on a daily basis. Now you already clean because of
the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in

(11:16):
Me and I in you, as the branch cannot bear
fruit of itself. Now, abiding and means staying connected. We
gotta stay connected to God. Just as a branch dies
when separated from the mind. A believer cannot thrive apart

(11:39):
from Christ. It's like fish to water. Right, you take
that fish out of the water, he's going to do
to die immediately. Right. A believer cannot thrive apart from Jesus. Now, fruit,

(12:01):
it'll come naturally just from the connection that you have
a CHRISTI It's not something that you have to thrive,
for he just wants our fellowship. If your spiritual life
feels dry, check your connection and ask yourself, are you

(12:23):
abiding or are you just visiting Jesus? Are you one
who abides in Him? Or do you just pop in
from time to time. That's why we are developing spiritual
disciplines like even coming to this podcast every day, daily prayer,

(12:47):
daily in the Word, daily worship, spend some time and
sing songs to God. That's another part of our relationship
we got to develop, and that's where our fruit grows.
We gotta water the fruit. Without him, we can do nothing,
but with him we can do everything. With him, we

(13:11):
are unstoppable. Hallelujah. Hey man, let's go to verse six.
They're gonna take that six to verse eight. If anyone
does not abide me, he is cast out as a

(13:31):
branch and withers, and his branch and is withered. And
they gather them and throw them into the fire, and
they are burned. Wow. If you're abiding me and my
words abiding you, you will ask what you desire and

(13:53):
it shall be done for you. By this, my Father
is glorified that you bear much fruit, So you will
be my disciple. Amen. Now, this is an awesome point
right here. Now, we need to really pay attention. This

(14:16):
is the red letters in our bibles. This is Jesus
himself speaking, and we really need to open our eyes.
We really need to talk to our brothers and sisters
who may be struggling with this, and we need to
do this in love. We need to check ourselves. Right.

(14:37):
If anyone does not abide in me, he is cast
out as a branch and is withered, and they gather
them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
If you abiding me my words, abiding you, you will
ask what you desire, and that she'll be done for you.

(14:58):
By this, my Father is glorified that you bear much fruit,
so you will be my disciple. The branch that doesn't
bear fruit is useless, right, it withers away spiritually. This
represents those who turn away from Christ. Those who remain

(15:25):
close to him will see their prayers answered because their
desires aligned with his will. God wants us to be fruitful,
not just us just to be busy. Right, he doesn't.
Business doesn't equal fruitfulness. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy,

(15:50):
and peace. That's what glorifies God. Now, don't just say
there and chase recognition, chase fruit that will last. Heymen,
what are we pursuing? What do we want our lives

(16:16):
to look like? Are we putting in the work to
abide in Christ? It's not something easy. It's not going
to just happen automatically. It's not something that we could
approach passively and like it's going to happen one day.
We have to be intentional about our walk with God.

(16:39):
And if we're not, Hey, there's a promise there that
we will be cast off and bluffd. We don't want that.
We don't want to be those who know the truth
and not do it. The punishment is greater. We don't
want to split hell wide open being one of those
who knew and didn't do. The demons really have a

(17:02):
heyday for those and they could tell who received Christ
but didn't walk it out, it looks like you lost
another one. It's a scary thing, all right, Let's go
nine and twelve. As the Father loved me, I also

(17:28):
have loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep
my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as
I have kept my father's commandments and abide in his love.
These things I have spoken to you that my joy

(17:49):
may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
This is my commandment that you love love one another
as I have loved you. Amen, hallelujah. Let's get to

(18:16):
the breakdown right here. It says, as a father loved me,
I also have loved you. Abide in my love. If
you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love,
just as I have kept my father's commandments and abide
in his love. These things I have spoken to you,

(18:36):
that my joy may remain in you, and that your
joy may be full. This is my commandment that you
love one another as I have loved you. Love is
just a hallmark of true discipleship. Jesus not only commands love,

(19:00):
he models it. Obedience brings joy, not burden, because it
flows from a heart of love. Now, real love costs something.
There's not cheap. You can't put it on autopilot. Real
love costs something that's a T shirt right there. Jesus

(19:24):
loved even when it hurts. If we claim to follow him,
he cannot choose who we love, right, He must love
like him. That's a gope love. The gope love is unconditional.
It is unselfish, and it is unstoppable. Hallelujah, it is unselfish.

(19:59):
Can aditional real love is unstoppable? Amen? All right, Let's
go to verse thirteen all the way to verse seventeen,
and it says, Greater love has no one than this

(20:24):
than to lay down one's life for his friend. You
are my friends if you do whatever I command you.
No longer do I call you servants, For a servant
does not know what his master is doing. But I've
called you friends, for all things that I have heard

(20:46):
from my father have made known to you. You did
not choose me, But I chose you and appointed you
that you should go in bear fruit, that your fruits
should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in my name,

(21:09):
he may give you these things. I command you that
you love one another. Amen, it looks like you lost
another one. Now this is beautiful. Greater love has no
one than this than to lay down one's life for

(21:35):
his friend. You are my friends if you do whatever
I command you. Now, Jesus elevates his disciple from servants
to friends, revealing his father's very own heart. Right. He
reveals the father's plans, He reveals the father's love. He

(21:59):
is the revelation of that to the world. True friendship
with God is built on trust and obedience. Just think
about that. True friendship with God is built on trust

(22:20):
and it is built on obedience. We're not just followers,
We're friends of Jesus. That that really dropped into your spirit.
That's deep friendship with Him means closeness, transparency, and loyalty.

(22:44):
We're not forgotten. You're chosen to bear fruit, and you're
chosen to bear fruit that remains. Amen. Hallelujah. Now this
is beautiful.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
It looks like you lost another one.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
All right. You did not chose me versus seen. You
did not choose me, But I chose you and appointed
you that you should go and bear fruit, and that
your fruit should remain. That whatever you ask the Father

(23:35):
in my name, he may give you these things. I
command you that you love one another Verse eighteen. The
world hates you. You know that it hated him before
it hated you. Now here's a question right here, do

(23:59):
you have opposition? Are you just a man pleaser or
some type of a people pleaser. You should have some
haters out there, right, people should be hating on you.
According to this, it says the world hates you, So
think about your environment as far as the people who

(24:23):
are around you. If they are worldly, do they hate
you or are you their best friend? Or are you
trying so hard to fit in that you're not shining
your light, you're not being salt, and you're not even
a threat to them, so they just considered you as

(24:44):
one of them. Now a ministry like mine, it's evident
that I've encountered a lot of hatred and a lot
of opposition. Even today, people still have issues. I'm still
dealing with things, even in my own family. So the

(25:07):
question is why so much hatred? Like what have I
literally done? It's not like I've been made mistakes, but
what have I really done to get that level of animosity?
And I've come to the point where I thank God

(25:27):
for my haters, because that means I'm not of this
world right and verse nine it says if you were
of the world, they would love its own. So I
don't even trip on the world accept to me or whoever,
even in the church. If you're hating on me, I'm like,

(25:49):
that doesn't move me one bit yet because you are
not of the world, but I chose you out of
the world. Therefore the world hates you. That's a sign
that you're chosen. That's why you can't follow the crowd, right,
That's why you can't, especially if people are promoting division, animosity,

(26:13):
they're negative, they're critical all the time, and they want
to pull you away from somebody. That's evident that that's
the demonic spirit working behind the scenes, because that's not Christ,
that's not fruit, that's not his character. Right, And if
you're not bearing fruit, we're getting cast into the fire.

(26:35):
So this is pretty serious. Think about your association, think
about who you want to link up with when it
comes to the kingdom. Especially in our genre. There's so
much division in gospel rap. It's ridiculous. First time, you
remember the word, Remember the word that I said to you.
A servant is not greater than his master persecuted me,

(27:02):
they will also persecute you. If they kept my word,
they would keep yours also. See there's a difference. It's
the word. Are they keeping the word? But all these
things they will do to you for my namesake, because

(27:23):
they do not know him who sent me. If I
had not come and spoken to them, they would have
no sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin.
He who hates me hates my father also. Now this

(27:44):
is a blow to the religious world. A lot of
religions out there try to bypass Christ right and think
about the spirit of the Antichrist. If you hate Christ,
you hate the Father. If I've not done among them
the works which no one else did, they would have

(28:08):
no sin. But now they have seen and also hated
both me and my father. But this happened that the
word may be fulfilled, which is written in their law.
They hated me without cause. They hated me without cause.

(28:35):
Now we gotta be careful. We got to be careful
of our association. We gotta be careful of the heart,
the attitude of heart. We gotta be kept careful with

(28:56):
our haters. Amen. And most of it is without a cause.
Most of the stuff, like I said, even when I
have the club, what sin did I commit? Like whose
wife did I sleep with? Whose money did I steal? Like?

(29:16):
You know what? Like what did I say that was
against the word? You know what? Was the whole opposition
all about? It was a spiritual principle. Not to say
that I'm innocent, that I'm perfect and I did everything right. Yeah,
I've done I've made mistakes, but not like I said,

(29:37):
to the level of the animosity and hatred that went out.
So let's go ahead, finished out. But when the helper comes,
when my show sent to you from the Father, the
spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will
testify of me. You also will bear witness because you

(30:02):
have been with me from the beginning. Hallelujah. Right time
for a quick break, be right back.

Speaker 1 (30:16):

they just wanna ship wreck, but you came on because
I stand on the world that cannot break lust. Gotta go,
man and be leaving too, And which craft come up
off the mind? You can't confuse high the blood of

(31:53):
Jesus waking South us to the father heart the DEVI
will tell you you won't offer. He's a liar.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
You will.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
God said he's never leave you for thank you need
the devil tay you could have left you when he
hates you.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
He's a lie.

Speaker 4 (32:05):
You're never capable of the truth. What a but you
live in God's in the door. Let all brisiness wrap,
people sinking be put over from us and heeartedly seek
him in the last day. That would come some difficult times.
People loving on theyself, but he making them blin post
pulling patt over his scoff and that guy there's no beauty,
and the parents satan planning in their mind. They will

(32:26):
consider nothing great, grateful, loving, not forgive. It's like no brother,
give me got credit. But nothing that will hate on
what is good, that'll be reckless Propter. We gotta shine
the light of Christ, the blood of Jesus covers us.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
It feels like love gone. It feels like, hey, this strong.
It feels like love its gone, But you kid strong.
It feels like circle. It feels like, don't you give

(33:01):
up on your life? Because lately the enemy been trying
to get me to give up on Seanna mind go.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
The enemy been trying to take us all off. Well,
we gotta endoor to the end. We gotta keep going
for Christ. We gotta be the saw or the earth.
We gotta keep encouraging each other.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
We gotta have unity.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
Go.

Speaker 4 (33:19):
Don't you give up that life Go Go.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
You are listening to the Light of Las Vegas. This
is the Hiss Hop radio show.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
All right, all right, we're back. That's our sister kidd
Lee Last Hour. The song was dropping so much knowledge,
so many bars on that song. Definitely support our sister.
Check her out, look her up. That is k I D.
D L e E. Kidd Lee Last Hour. You're streaming

(34:00):
right here on his hot radio. Yes, yes, all right,
abiding in Christ and understanding where that opposition comes from.
I remember, beloved, even Jesus says that if the world
loves you, you're doing something wrong. If the world hates you,

(34:28):
remember they hated my father as well, So we're in
good company. And that doesn't mean to go out and
be ubnoxious. Don't intentionally get people to hate you. And
you know, you can get people to hate you because
you got a bad character. You know, we're not talking
about that or talking about serving the Lord and being

(34:49):
faithful to the truth. Opposition is going to come. Don't
let it throw you. It threw me for a little bit.
I'm not gonna lie. One of the things that got
to me was when I was producing music, when we
were rapping and I was putting out songs and stuff.

(35:10):
People were really coming against that. They were saying that
my style was an old school, it was dated, or
this and that any other that wasn't really feeling my music.
Instead of me developing and working and trying to improve
in that, I allowed that to discourage me, and the
enemy just used that to hinder the music that I

(35:35):
know God put inside me. I know music that the
world needs. And the crazy thing about it, somebody not
too long ago sent me a message and said you
were the best rapper I ever listened to, Like my
most favorite rapper. And I'm like, Wow, the God will
show you. And I pray and I hope this is
not a failure of my part. Keep me in Prairie, y'all,

(36:00):
because I don't want the enemy to win in any area. Amen.
Speaking of that, that was a perfect segue into our
accountability partner. Right, we need to confess our faults to
win another so that we can pray for one another
and hold each other accountable and to encourage each other.
So go over to the life chat check it out,

(36:22):
check out the challenge. The challenge this week is to
stay connected. Is to pick one of your friends, a
family member, or even from church a brother or sister
and commit to praying together once a week, right, and

(36:42):
ask each other, are you abiding or are you striving? Amen?
Are you abiding or are you striving? That's a you
put that on a stick a sticky note somewhere where

(37:05):
you can see it and just read it and ask
yourself these questions. Amen. All right. I also just want
to update you really quick his hot Radio. We are
monitored it and reporting radio station. It is up on

(37:27):
our website his hotnation dot com. If you got some
music you want us to put it in rotation, we
want to put it out there for you and make
sure you check out some of our promo packages. You
can advertise right here on the app so that you

(37:52):
can get further up on our charts. Amen. Now it's
time for some trivia. Trivia time. The question is what
did Jesus compare himself to in John chapter fifteen, verse one?

(38:15):
And I'm gonna post he's in a life chat. What
did Jesus compare himself self to in John chapter fifteen,
verse one? Was it a good shepherd? Was it the door?
Or was it the vine? Let's see who can get
the answer the quickest. His own three has been the

(38:41):
reigning champ in our trivia. He's looking for some competition.
So who's out there? Hey? Who said we can't have
fun serving the Lord? Amen? All right, now it's time
for our community shout out. If we have an event,

(39:01):
an outreach or something you got going, send your message

a shout out right here on the podcast. Because He's
out radio. We are a community radio station. We want

(39:22):
