it's available twenty four seven. In this podcast, we believe

(01:44):
that the ungrafted word is able to save our souls.
So make sure you grab your bibles, your highlighters in
your notepads and follow along. Today we're gonna pick it
up and acts chapter three. Actually, excuse me. We're in
chapter four and we're gonna pick it up in verse

(02:04):
store thirteen. Now, in our last episode, Peter boldly declared
that salvation is found in no other name but the
name Christ Jesus. Now, the pressure increases, but so does
the courage. The courage and the boldness of the apostles

(02:27):
increase also so acts. Chapter four is a masterclass in
Holy Spirit boldness. And I believe that we need that
we need that Holy Spirit boldness now more than ever
as the Body of Christ, as the pressure increases in

(02:51):
our country, as persecution is on the horizon. But do
not fear, Do not fret, Do not be afraid, because
persecution only strengthens the Church, it does not weaken, and
the enemy knows it. The enemy would rather join the

(03:12):
church and corrupt us from within, but he knows outside
persecution will only strengthen us. Amen, So stay in the spirit,
stay bold, stay courage, stay witness scene for Christ. We
need to win as many people as possible, So make
sure you share this podcast to as many people as

(03:36):
you can. And I want to say what's up to
the crew in a live chat? What's up to our
brother's Zone three? Our brother could rent So what's up
to our our Rabbi Ron Arnold, who has popped in
there to say hello, and everyone else who stopped through.
We appreciate y'all. If you are listening, meet us at

(03:56):
eleven am specific standard time so you can say hello
and meet us in there. I'll be in there and
mister his hop at that time to meet everyone to
love each other, to hold each other accountable, to pray
for each other, and to fellowship and connect. Right, this
is your small group on the radio station. So that

(04:22):
being said, let's go before Father. Evenly, Father, we thank you,
Father God for yet another day. Father. We asked that
you open up the word. We asked that we will
feast on your word, Father God, that your word will
be our nourishment on today. Yes, Father God, we ask
Father God, oh Lord, that you will take us, Father God,
O Lord, from fear to fire in the holy spirit, Father,

(04:47):
from timidity to boldness. Father God, we asked, o God,
that you equipped us for these last days. God, give
us a last day of anointing, a double portion of
your spirit. Father that was open up our hearts and mind.
And we asked this in Jesus's mighty name. Amen. All right,

(05:11):
so we are in chapter four.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
It looks like you lost another one.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
As I said a minute ago, Peter just got done
proclaiming that there is no other name under heaven by
which we must be saved except the name Christ Jesus.
Now we're talking about the boldness and the courage that

(05:39):
Peter now has. He's a totally different person than he
was in the gospel. Right. This is very encouraging. That
means God can change us as well. If you've been
touched by the Holy Spirit, you will never be the same. Hallelujah.

(06:01):
So it's speaking up in verse thirteen, and it says, now,
when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and
perceived that they were uneducated in untrained men, they marveled.
They realized that they had been with Jesus. All right,

(06:23):
let's stop right there real quick. The boldness is the
first mark of being filled with the Spirit. Amen. It's
not education, not status or religious training. It's the boldness

(06:45):
that is supplied by the Holy Spirit. You don't need
a degree to have authority. You just need time with Jesus. Hallelujah.
You just need to spend time with the Lord, and
that authority will come through Amen, verse fourteen, and seeing

(07:08):
the man who had been healed standing with them, they
could say nothing against it. Wow, that's living proof right there, right,
the evidence was undeniable. Now the healed man was the proof.
The council could not silence. They could not silence the

(07:31):
fact that there's a man who's healed, that there was
a miracle that was done in the midst of them.
A transformed life shuts down every single argument, every transformed life,
every testimony is proof of the risen resurrected savior. Amen.

(08:01):
But when they had commanded them to go aside out
of the council, they conferred amongst themselves, saying, what shall
we do to these men? For indeed that a notable
miracle has been done through them is evident to all

(08:25):
who dwelled in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. And man,
look at them, they're trying to figure out how to
work the lie right, how to deny it. They couldn't.
What shall we do, for notable miracle has been done
and we cannot deny it? You see, the leaders admitted

(08:48):
the truth, but rejected it because accepting it would cost
them their power, it would cost them their status, it
would cost them their position and their authority. Right, some
people don't have the truth. Some people don't have a

(09:12):
truth problem, they have a control problem. It's not that
they don't believe. They can't deny the fact that this
is truthful. They'll lose their status and their control. Man, Now,

(09:43):
they knew that they were going to lose their status
in verse sixteen, saying what shall we do to these men?
For indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through
them is evident to all who dwelt in Jerusalem, and

(10:06):
it cannot be denied. Verse seventeen, it says, but so
that it spread no further among the people, let us
severely threaten them that from now on they speak to
no man in this name. Now they said that they

(10:26):
were gonna severely threaten them. Now, the strategy was not punishment,
It was intimidation. They felt they had the power to
intimidate them. Amen, A true son or daughter of God

(10:50):
will not be intimidated. The enemy's number one tactic is fear,
because fear stops more Christians then sin ever will. Should
I say that again, fear will stop more Christians than

(11:11):
sin ever will. Amen, We cannot allow the enemy to
intimidate us. And I would have to say that early
in my ministry, I was intimidated another one by the enemy.

(11:32):
In my music ministry, they stopped to me for a
very long time. Fear can hinder, fear can paralyze us.
Just think about the story of David and Goliath. How
King Saul and the whole army of Israel was afraid
of this man. The whole army was paralyzed. It took

(11:54):
one shepherd boy to show courage, to show faith and
boldness to set them free from that bondage of fear.
Fear will stop us quicker than anything else Verse eighteen.

(12:15):
So they called them and commanded them not to speak
at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Looks like you lost another one.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Now, they commanded them. So they called and commanded them
not to speak at all or teach in his name.
This was a direct attempt to silence the gospel, to
intimidate them, to stop it in this cradle. Now, our
culture still tries this day just talk about positivity or

(12:53):
spirituality or morals, but don't mention Jesus, and especially don't
mintion the cross and the resurrection of Christ. Right they're
okay with that, with positive being positive, but they're not

(13:13):
okay with our risen Lord. All right, let's say nineteen
and twenty. But Peter and John answered and said to them,
whether it's right on the sight of God to listen
to you more than God you judge, for we cannot

(13:36):
but speak the things which we have seen and heard. Amen, hallelujah.
Look at that bold reply in the midst of intimidation.
Their loyalty to God outweighed fear of consequences. Let me

(13:59):
say that again, their loyalty to God outweighed the fear
of the consequences of these men. It's either obedience or intimidation.
There's no middle ground, there's no neutral. When you have

(14:21):
truly encounter Jesus, silence is just way too impossible. There's
no way that you can stay silent. They man acts
twenty one. So then they had further threatened them, They

(14:46):
let them go, finding no way of punishing them because
of the people, since they all glorified God for what
had been done. So they had no choice but to
let them go. Now the council feared the people more

(15:11):
than they feared God. A man standing right there made
it impossible to punish them. The miracle the evidence of
God's power working in the midst of them. Amen. Public
opinion protected them, But God was the one directing it. Amen.

(15:35):
God was the one leading it. It looks like you
lost another one Verse twenty two. For the man was
over forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing
had been performed. Amen, he was over forty years old.

(16:07):
A forty year old crippled man suddenly walking. It is
for one undeniable. Two it's unexplainable. Three it is unstoppable. Hallelujah.
Nothing can stop the glory. Bigger the miracle, the greater

(16:34):
the testimony. Amen. The bigger the miracle, the bigger the work,
the bigger the obstacle. Greater is the testimony. Hallelujah. A man,
God is so good. All right, Let's take us a

(16:56):
music break right here. I'll be right back, y'allah. You
are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This is
the hiss hop radio show.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Big Bank on God. I'm living proof, he says, I
was a lad of seeing shore, not living to a
not living the message. I speaking counting pressure. I've been
giving it pressure type mcdumb. It's type progression. He had
to learn that likes about perceptions, faith effect the way
that you perceive it. Every long way you meant to
keep you down, and every time you meant to keep
peeking up. I would questioning him, like God, what.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Type of creed?

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Just I couldn't beat it. He showed me how to
defeat a believer before.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
I can see it through the hood tones when I
come see you can't for me. It's the pillowett put
your middleweight.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
No it searing me.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
If I'm up, burned down, you hone me down, you'll
hone me dundn you hone me dun. If I'm upburnwed
down through the winds and the trous you hate.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Me, don't do me praise get if I have no
way say thinking better these days the pats don't passed
away ducking, dodging no problems. Now pray, don't dunk no
faith just shading the face. God told me give it
to him, put it out of steak. Didn't word to
me when he give me blessing or blessing. When he
give me blessings. I learned from still blessing God like
a humble statement. Growing some adolescens and all of my

(18:30):
fears and your presence disappear. I f your love. I
know you're here when the prayer go up, you want
to feel through.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
The hard times when I couldn't see, you're playing for me.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
It's the pilot.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Put your middlewake now, it's clearing me. If I'm up
burrowed down through the winds and the trous, you hone
me down, me down, you hone me, John dund you
hurt me, John d.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
If I'm up burrowed down.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Through the winds and the trous, you'll me down down.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
All right, all right, we are back. And that is
our sister childlike CC hold me down right here live
on his hot radio for the music break on the podcast.
And that was time for the accountability of Partners segments,
this seig it was birth. As I was working to

(20:03):
altar at church, and I noticed that there's a lot
of people still struggling with the same sin they struggled
with years ago. And some of us we don't truly repent,
We don't truly renew our minds in Christ. We don't
know how to deny our flesh. We don't know how

(20:23):
to deny our thoughts. We just let thoughts run rampant
desires went out of control. We allow our hearts to
be captivated by sin. Basically, basically, what we're doing is
we're loving our sin more than we love God. And
there's a lot of Christians who think that they're okay,

(20:47):
that they're gonna make it. The Galatians breaks it down
that if you practice the works of the flesh, you
shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. That would be
a great study, a great podcast, a great way to
break down the word. Amen. Hollo lujah, I'm actually gonna

(21:10):
do a segment on that the works of the flesh
just qualifications to enter into the kingdom. That is one
promise we cannot ignore our Amen. Yeah, we like the
good promises, but the promises that you will not enter

(21:31):
the kingdom are just as important. So let's take a study.
Let's look at that. And that's one of the reasons
why we hold each other accountable. That's one of the
reasons why we meet up in the life chat so
that we could stay on that nearrow path together. Right. So,
if you want that help, you want that assistance, go

(24:30):
time for some trivia. You know, we gotta engage you
know what I mean, We got to get our our
thinking caps on right. God wants us to engage his
word right on a consistent basis. He wants us to
think about it, to meditate on it, and to graft

(24:53):
it in our souls. So our reigning champ is our brothers.
Zoom three, what's up, my brother? He got yesterday's trivia
and the question was what group denied the resurrection in

(25:13):
opposed Peter's preaching, and he got it. It was the Sadducees.
First he said it was a sandhedron, but I believe
the samehesion is the court system. But the Salvucees and
the Pharisees were like the religious groups, like the religious leaders.

(25:37):
So shout out to our brothers. Oom three. Now who's
gonna get it today? Who's gonna win the trivia question today?
The question for today is what did the council tried
to use to silence the apostles? What tactic, what strategy?

(25:58):
What did they come together and decide on and say,
you know what, this is gonna work. This is gonna
silence our apostles, which, of course we know evidence two years,
two thousand years later it did not work. Amen, All right,
