(03:59):

to share your goodness, to share your grace, Oh God.
We come against any hindrance, any distraction, any delay, o God,
Oh Lord, in our progress, our growth, our maturity. We
ask Father God, Oh Lord, that you will bless us podcast,
(04:20):
bless those who hear it. Father God. Let us, Father God,
walk away, Lord even more rich, and let our faith
grow even stronger in Jesus' name. Amen and Amen. All right,
(04:42):
all right, Well, we're gonna break this down verse by verse.
I'm gonna start this off. That's what John chapter one,
verse thirty five through thirty seven. This little background. John
has been an amazing book so far. We see that
(05:05):
the word was with God in the beginning, and the
word became flesh and the word was God. So we
have the deity of Jesus Christ right there at the
beginning of the book. John is a disciple that whom
Jesus loved. John had a deep, loving relationship with our
(05:30):
Lord Jesus Christ, Amen, our Savior. We went through another
book of John, that is, he wrote the Book of Revelation. Amen.
And even in the early Church, corruption and false teaching
and false doctrine started to creep in. So John had
(05:54):
to write to push it back, and a lot of
his epistles one of the heavy hitters in the gospel.
So right now we're gonna look at the first disciples
that were called. We're also gonna look at John the Baptist. Right,
(06:18):
John the Baptist, his ministry is very successful, but he
knew that he was there. They handed off to Jesus Christ,
and that is a successful ministry. We should hand everything
off to Jesus. And that point to ourselves, because we
and ourselves can do nothing, and that takes a lot
(06:41):
of the pressure off. Jesus fights our battle. He's our provider,
our protector, he is our counselor. So let him be
who he wants to be in your life. Amen. So
let's take a look at the first disciples a man.
(07:05):
So in verse eighty five, and again the next day,
John stood with two of his disciples and looking at
Jesus as he walked. He said, behold the lamb of God,
who takes away the sin of the world. Now the
(07:28):
two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Now,
John the Baptist didn't keep followers just for himself. He
didn't hold him, he didn't hold on tights. He didn't
try to suck everything out of him. No, he pointed
(07:52):
them to Jesus. His mission was never about self glory,
but it was about preparing the way, and that is humilitating.
Sometimes we want people to follow us instead of Christ,
which is crazy. Now John shows us the model. Now,
(08:16):
this is how we are supposed to do it. When
folks leave us for Jesus. That is a successful ministry.
When we say that, when people leave us or Jesus,
(08:38):
when they grow up and enough maturity in them to say,
you know what, I'm gonna go directly to the Lord,
that is a successful ministry. Amen eight and thirty nine.
(09:00):
Then Jesus turn and, seeing them following, said to them,
what do you seek? They said to him, Rabbi, which
is to say, when translated, teacher, where are you staying?
He said to them, come and see. Now the first
(09:23):
words of Jesus in John's Gospel is what do you seek?
That's a question for every heart, and that's deep as well.
Now Jesus didn't say who do you seek? But what
(09:46):
do you seek? Are you looking for blessing, a quick fix?
Or are we truly seeking him? And he knows as
a matter of fact, we're going to read in this book,
Lord Willing that when Jesus fed the multitudes with just
(10:14):
loads and a fish, he multiplied it. Everyone ate and
the bellies were full. When Jesus went to the other
side of the lake and they followed behind him, he said, look,
you don't seek me. You're just seeking to get food
from me. Like, don't just seek to get food from me,
(10:35):
but seek heavenly things. So that's a heart check right there.
What do you seek? We should ask that question daily
in prayer, all right, Verse forty through forty two. And uh,
(11:08):
you know, if you notice, I'm just high lighting, I'm
just getting the meat out of the scriptures, because you know,
this is a long book, so we'll probably switch it up.
Sometimes we'll go verse by verse, read the whole text,
or just get the meat out of it. Verse forty
through forty two. It says one of the two we
(11:32):
heard John speak and follow him was Andrew, Simon's Peter's brother.
He first found his own brother Simon and said to him,
we had found the Messiah, which is translated to Christ.
And he brought him to Jesus. And man, Andrew is
(11:55):
always seen the scriptures, is bringing people to Jesus Christ.
First he brought his brother, later a boy with the lows. Now,
some of y'all listening are likend you. He may not
be in the spotlight, but your invitation could bring the
(12:17):
next Peter to Jesus Christ, or the next Billy Graham,
or who knows. Just keep bringing them. Hey, man, we
need the bringers, all right. Let's jump down the first
(12:45):
verse forty three to forty six. The following day, Jesus
wanted to go to Galilee, and he found Philip and
said to him follow me. Now Philip was from the Saida,
the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathaniel and
(13:10):
said to him, we have found him who Moses in
the law. And also the prophet wrote Jesus of Nazareth. Wow,
that is an amazing discovery. God revealed that to his heart,
the son of Joseph, and Nathaniel said to him, and
(13:32):
anything good come out of Nazareth. Philip said to him,
Come and see now, Philip, his words were just simple,
Come and see. Now. That is a powerful evangelist. You
don't have to debate, just invite. Notice the skepticism, though,
(13:57):
can anything good come out of Nazareth? Sounds like people
today right? Can anything good come out of the church,
out of hip hop, out of your life? But the
imitation is still the same. Come and see, Come and
(14:19):
see the demonstration of power by the Holy Spirit. Amen
now Verse forty seven through fifty one. Jesus saw Nathaniel
coming towards him and said to him, behold and Israel
(14:40):
like indeed, and whom is no deceit. Nathaniel said to him,
how do you know me? Jesus answered to him, before
Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree,
I saw you that, Thaniel. And he said and said
to him, Rabbi, you are the son of God. You
(15:06):
are the King of Israel. Jesus answered and said to him,
because I said to you I saw you under the
fig tree, do you believe you will see greater things
than this? And he said to him most assuredly. I
(15:26):
say to you. Here after you shall see the heaven
open and the angels of God Us sending and descending
upon the son of Man. Hallelujah. This is rich, this
is good. Let's break this down now. Jesus knows of Nathaniel, right,
(15:55):
and his knowledge of Nathaniel revealed his divinity. This must
have been a word of wisdom or word of knowledge.
And I love it because it took something simple like
this for Nathaniel to believe and receive. And Jesus said, hey,
(16:20):
you're going to see greater things than that. Now. The
fig tree was often in a place of prayer and meditation.
Jesus saw him in the secret place. Hey, man, remember
we got to have that secret place. Now. Jesus sees
(16:47):
us in the hidden moments. Think about like think think
about that for a second, even in the secret hidden moments,
Jesus in our quiet struggles, and he promises, you will
(17:08):
see greater things. That's for you today, that's for me,
that's for us. We will see greater things. He sees us.
He sees us under the fig tree. He sees us
(17:29):
when we're at work, struggling to get along with our coworkers.
He sees us when we're at school struggling to study.
He sees us when we're at home and the relationships
are getting difficult. He sees us under the fig tree,
(17:55):
and he says, you will see greater things than these. Amen.
These are his words, These are his promises, and we
can rest assured. Amen. All right, time for a quick
(18:17):
music break. Let's see you in your head with something.
We'd be right back.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
is the His Hop radio show.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
Well, America has experienced a rapid in fact of massive
inflation in genders. At one point, biologists were allox determined
what biology was and there were two male female. Yeah,
there's a gender by gender two spirit Kurja.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
He drama could go on forever.
Speaker 4 (18:47):
Wait, say them his hers? See Sam? Wait, what are
these words? You are confused while you're talking in thirds?
You can only be one. It's not what you prefer.
You're either one of the two. Whatever's between your two likes.
It's the proof whoever gave you the option to choose menders.
Sit down and listen. I'm breaking the news. It's only
two genders. Your parents are jacking you up. They might
(19:09):
as upput some cracking your cup. You came out in
this citing.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Now you corrupt.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
Now you stand on the bridge and you just want
to jump. Got these tain't care, devils stitching the kids
in the school. They are vessels by the endemy. He's
just a rebel. Let's turn up the kettle when God
gets up. Told them he won't be gentle. They won't
be gentle. How dare you miss gender me? My pronouns
are them and theirs. Get y'all brains in the blender.
(19:36):
If you state the obvious, he will be censored. God
made your body in here, just the renter. He's the inventor.
And he only made two genders.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Genders, two genders.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
He only he only made two genders, only two. There's
only two genders. I love the science, and it says
there's only two genders. Just told me their seventy genders.
I need the evidence. Where's the defenders? Maybe your brain dead?
You lost your receptors. They benned me because if I'm
a repeating defender, these are the strikes in their race.
I am not giving one inch to the case. It's
(20:05):
funny the sin that got called this detestable. Now when
the claim it. They get all the praise.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
People.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
We only rock in the blue in the pink. I
think that you don't need to get into shrink. Now
you're denying the science. You think I want answers right now,
but you're trying to think you were a signed one
at first. There's only two genders. Men, look at the
first that should be straight and women have curves. You're
just shaking your fist up. But God, you've got nerves,
but God gets Nerdi don't care these people. Using common sense.
(20:35):
Everybody knows there's more than two genders. Trans y'all brains
in the blender. If you state the obvious, he will
be censored. God made your body in here, just the renter.
He's the inventor. And he only made two genders.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Genders, two genders.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
He only he only made two genders, only two. There's
only two genders. I love the science and it says
there's only two genders.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
is the His Hop radio show.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Now that is my new favorite song right there. He
only made two genders. Come on, now, you gotta use
common sense. One man said your hearings might as well
put crack in your cup. Man, that's deep big haired Devils.
I like that one. I'm gonna start using that one.
(21:52):
