(01:06):
of years ago when they had totell us in town. That's correct.
Basket Crent lives in the studios withhis hot nation. Yes, I do
remember. Yes, it's awesome tosee you still doing your thing, and
for what understand you're like chopping thecharts, topping the charts right now,
right man to God be the glory, Yes, sir number one, Okay,
tell us about it, tell usabout what's going on with your singing.

(01:26):
Yes, sir, the new singlejes give me that it's going across
this world. I'm excited about itbecause I want people to know that God
needs us to raise our praise forhim. It's not about us, but
it's all about Him. So Iwant people to just give him that.
Just give him that praise because hedeserves it. Man, just giveing that,

(01:48):
okay, Okay, And you're gonnagive us a sample of that tonight
on the stage, right, YesI am, Yes, I am gonna
sing that and we're ready to justlet this fire for God. Man.
I'm excited. I'm excited. Iremember the last couple of times I've seen
you on stage. U. Lasttime I think you had a girl group
or something with you. Haven't heardmuch from them. Can you give us

(02:09):
a little update on what's you know, your whole group that you had at
the time, is it still well? That was the boy Gatt girls who
I featured. I mean now they'recountry singers. Can you believe that they're
touring with Chanaya? Um named TwainChanaya Twain Hobody mess it up Chanaya.
But they're doing it globally. Um. So they're rocking this world with their

(02:30):
new country girl songs. But yeah, they're still just making an impacting god
and in music as well. Butalso my daughter, she's been with me
for four years, so she's myhype girl and she's gonna hype it up
tonight. Yeah, I remember,I remember a dynamic duo. Man,
I'm excited. It's gonna be anamazing treat um. Man. So you're

(02:53):
out here in Vegas, this isthe Stellar weekend. What do you hope
to just get out of the week? What do you want to experience?
Are you here in Vegas during StellarWeek? You know what? During in
Stellar Week, I'm looking forward toget in the education about music, networking
with new artists, making connection withfamily and friends like yourself, and making

(03:16):
sure that you know, we alljust continue to support gospel music because that's
my heart that we make a noisefor gospel music so that we can put
it to the plateau that it needsto be. Come on, I know
that's right. And man and yours, especially hip hop, you're on the
front lines. You know what Imean. You are the queen of holy

(03:36):
hip hop does to God be theglory, that's what they call me.
Oh man, that is exciting you. Okay, So what the projects are
you working on now? Do youhave anything coming up? What can we
expect from Lady C in the nearfuture. Yes, right now, I
just finish a product that's called TheAnthem with their Mind Glanton, and right

(03:59):
now, you know, we expectto finish up our tour. So I
have about seven more locations this year, so make sure you go follow me
on my social media and I amlady to see Jack and meet me at
one of these locations. And rightnow we're just really pushing this music to
the next level. And I'm mentoringother artists. Okay, that's awesome.

(04:20):
That's how you know, maybe wecan network because I'm working with artists too,
so maybe we can do some networking. And and you got a great
network behind you. I've talked toa mister Archie and all the what is
it like, man, We'll tellus how important needs you to have a
good team back in Man, itis everything, especially with a team and

(04:41):
a management team that cares about theirartists and deaths in to help them push
their vision. Because sometimes you havea team that want to push their vision,
but they hear your vision and wecommunicate and we push the vision together.
So I'm excited to be a partof the Archer Fellow Records label family
and embark Distribution and Publishing distributing ourmusic out to over twenty five thousand you

(05:06):
hear me outlets, So we're superexcited to be a part of that.
And right now I'm an executive directorfor Embarked Distribution. So not only am
I on the stage and helping artists, but now I am behind the scene
distributing and pushing and learning more aboutmusic out so that I can help other

(05:27):
artists. Come on, now,y'all hear that. Now, this is
a great connection to have, Ladyc And I tell you, Man says,
I've known you. You've done nothingbut encourage me. You've introduced me
to different people. You've always beentrying to push our brand and then kind
of like bring us with you alittle bit. So and that's rare.
It's that's not common to meet peoplethat are selfless, because even though we

(05:51):
have gospel artists, everybody is notliving kingdom, you know what I mean.
And I can say this personally thatyou're living king and you care about
the matter of fact, the Biblesays consider others more than yourself. And
that's all I've gotten from you.I've always gotten that, I've always gotten
love and there like I got nothingnegative to say about Lady c So and

(06:14):
that that means a lot, especiallyin his industry. Listen to God be
the glory again. We love youhis op nation, and to me,
it's just a prime example of whatwe are all supposed to be doing.
I think Christ was the perfect example. He was selfless. He came down
here to do the love his fatherso that we can be joined back with
him. And I think that thatthat should be our ultimate ultimate mission,

(06:39):
is to be selfless and to thinkof others and to give, because we're
just here on assignment. We're justhere instruments, that's all we are.
And if we can't impact the lifeand we can't help people connect to I
say, connect properly to God.Then what are we doing? What are
we doing? And so we gotto continue to push one another and we

(06:59):
pray continue to bless you that He'ssending the resources and capital to what you're
doing because we do believe in hisop nation. Thank you so much,
and I thank you for the encouragementand that that goes a long way and
it doesn't go on. Notice, you know what I mean. We appreciate
every support, everything, and wetold once we get that getting to that
position, you know, we willreciprocate. You know what I mean.

(07:21):
I believe in that love and stuff. You know. Right now we might
be the ones that kind of needto hand up, but when it's the
tables of term where we can helpsomeone else, we're going to do the
same thing. So and I appreciatethat a lot. I do. How
can everyone get in connection with you? Contact your website, your social media,

gospel music. Why because she hasa heart for the King. So make

(08:24):

Alright, alright, alright, alright, what's up y'all? Is your boy
and mister his Hot right here puttingit down. This is the pre show
and after party of the celebrity basketballgame. They were saying that Kenton Jones

(09:52):
is already in the house, soyou got some people pouring in. But
man, we had an awesome preshow, I tell you, man,
this thing went down and right nowI'm gonna going to talk to my girl
and Mary Graysman, she really toreit up. Man. She really made
an impression on me with their music, with what she had to say about

(10:13):
Hallelujah. Anyhow, she was outsaying that she had a car and the
car broke down. Right, Youhad a car and the car broke down,
and you wrote the song while youwere in it broke down car talking
about Hallelujah anyhow? You know whatI mean? Like that's real, that's
where it says. So I,Maria, how you doing tonight? I

(10:39):
am blessed. I'm excited. I'mjust in awe of everything that I'm experiencing
right now. It's my first timeand they get so on Mike the first
time. Come on, I tellyou what I'm gonna get these headphones.
Can you hear me now? Orguy, you can hear me? Okay?

(11:00):
All right, Well we're doing thisthing live. You know, we
are live on set. He gotsome live music going, We got some
more people coming up the after parties. He was about to go down.
So I'm glad to have you wiking. You said you reached out to me
before, and I'm glad that weactually had a chance to connect. You

(11:20):
know, it's one thing when youmeet people online where you play people's music,
but we could sit down face toface and just feel their spirit then
look eye to eye. Man,that's just there's this's over. We're family
now you know what I'm saying. It was interesting because, um so I
came across your flyer for a clubhens Hop and it was crazy because I

(11:41):
started a nonprofit company, the King'sCourt Ministry, and it was exactly for
that to start a Christian club. Now, earlier in the days, you
know, the Saints wasn't ready forthat. But I just feel in my
heart that if if, if theworld can have a club, why can't
we Why can't we be able togo out and entertain ourselves. Why can't

(12:03):
we be in an area but wedon't have to work about being bobarded by
the world to one you know whatI mean. We could lay back,
have money and praise God hold atthe same time. So how to come
out from that Las Vegas so Ican see a lot of in person,
see how you doing it, sowe can link up and we can bring
this thing around the globes. Man, I love what you said. I

(12:24):
love what you said because you know, this is the vision God gave me.
God gave me the vision a clubin every city, like if you
go to our website, like that'sour vision. And I believe that this
is what it's needed because a lotof people are not paying attention to church.
You're not coming to church, especiallythe youth, you know what I
mean, the youth. And everytime the devil, if you look through

(12:48):
history, every time the devil wantedto change the culture, he would do
it through music. Like look atthe music, like back in the sixties
and seventies, ms of children, you know what I mean. He told
you to you know, shake theirhips and started shaking their booties and take
off clothes and all that. Theydid that through the music. Do you
know what I mean? Thing heshocked the culture. And I'm like,

(13:11):
okay, well let's take that andgive it back to God, his high
right. He took the culture backfrom the enemy, you know what I'm
saying. And I think that's whyour genre gets so much warfare. That's
why it's such a battle because it'sso powerful, and you know what I
mean, it's so palm. It'scrazy that she said that the warfare is
real. Like when we got tobefore we even got to the plane,

(13:35):
we got into the airport, everythingwas paid for, we was ready to
go. We walked into the airportboot three hundred dollars we got to drop.
That was not playing for you knowwhat I mean. And then the
enemy just tried. I mean, like everything he could possibly do through out
the trip, he could and itdoesn't matter because at the end of the
day, God is going to getthe glory what he wants. Nobody can
write. So it's just it's amazinghow things working. I think it be

(13:58):
handsome what God's doing in your lifewhen He's gonna be able to use us
to bless other folks. It's justreal sorts. Come on, man,
this is awesome. This is thisis amazing. Okay, I mean,
we can't look. We just connectingand we just fellowshipping and stuff. But
let let's talk about your music.Let's talk about your story. Why did

(14:20):
you or how did you get starteddoing music for you for the keen?
All right, So, like Isaid earlier, when I was when I
was minister earlier, I have beendoing music since I can't remember right,
but I've always been in church.I've been acquired and things like that.
I've always wanted to see, butit was never an opportunity. There was

(14:41):
nothing, anything that would just breakfor me to get into the door.
Until three years ago I met mycurrent husband now and we were just friends.
We you know, we we wereon a brave team together and everything.
Um, long story short, hehad a label, we got together
and we were just friends and Godjust started opening do wasn't just putting things
out there like do this and dothat. And before I knew it,

(15:03):
I was being nominated for Female Artistsof the Year for the Tampa Bay Gospel
Awards. I was getting nominated forawards and New Orleans in Texas, Like
it was just insane. So thething was that I realized in this time
friend that what I wanted to dowith my music for the world, God
wasn't with until I lined up andgave it all to him one hundred percent.

(15:26):
That's when he started breaking doors downand open things. And like even
my husband, I asked him twoyears before we before we reconnected, he
I want to be in your group. I here, you gotta group.
He was like, uh, hehas only for men. And I was
like oh, And so that waslike the end of it. And then
two years later I go to afriends who a support of friends video shoot

(15:48):
and it just happened to be wantedhis artist and it was just like timing
a mind me. You know,it was crazy. And my first single
You Love Me dropped and from theair images like but quick short story.
So we actually were doing juvenile detentioncenters. We'll go to juvenile detention centers,
you know, minister to the youthand everything. At the time,

(16:11):
I was working for a mortgage companyand I was like, Lord, I
don't want to do this anymore.Show me how I could do when we're
doing in this juvenile detention center. How I could do that? Full time?
Is still playing Mothers and God whoend up? Now? One more
two comfortables where I'm a youth advocate, my husband to youth advocated. We
go we deal with children comment Departmentof Juvenile Justice that comes out of probation,

(16:32):
you know that kind of thing, and Department of Children Families. We
mentor an advocate for the laws anddemanding youth of our community. And that
is truly our passion. Everything wedo, even our music, is aimed
at you. I want to makesure that shifting that I'll hear more laws
who evaded that people have given I'mgonna I wanted to see guys. That's
our whole point. I pointed toat a guy who show these kids guys

(16:56):
love walk the walk show up withthe booms like we believe it. We
believe, we believe in Christ,we believe in real life. So that's
where we are, man, friends, God, hallelujah. This is so
amazing. Man, that guy isjust using you, you and your husband,

(17:18):
and you know what, the youthin particular, they really need to
see a husband and white team doingit together because they don't even understand what
marriages and the marriages they probably dosee are so crazy. They're like,
I don't never want to get married. So wow, that's the man.
I'm gonna give a shout out toyour husband I would love to talk to

(17:41):
one day, and me both ofy'all. I believe the Lord is gonna
have us working together side by side. I believe it. I believe it,
and I think the Kingdom music,we Keendom music come together. You
know, the only person that getsall the glory is Jesus. You know
what I'm saying. And so oh, man, I would love to I
love your spirit, I love yourmusic. I love it. Man.

(18:03):
I'm just I'll tell you left animpression on me. You know what I
mean. You got a great stagepresence, you do and the way you
stop your shoes and suff Oh mygod, come on up, she's giving
it. You know what I mean. I'm telling ya, if you ever
get a chance to see my sisterlive, don't hesitate. Go check her
out. And she's in the citynear you, and she comes to your

(18:26):
city, make sure you guys checkout a Mari Grace has a great testimony.
She's gonna send me her music,so you guys are gonna get familiar
with her music. I don't doI have your music already. To have
some of your older stuff, youprobably do. You probably have Halleluiah anyhow,
and definitely you love me. Butif not, I'm gonna make sure
you have tonight. Come on,come on, yes, let's connect for

(18:47):
real. It's like man phrase guy. And you know this really encourages me
because sometimes when you do this solong, you know, I started in
twenty twelve, and you know we'vedone event after event after event. Sometimes
you don't think people support you, think people don't appreciate. You don't see

(19:07):
a return. You know, inthe world, you know they do it
for money. It's about them dollars, you know, But we're doing it
for the kingdom, so it's neverreally about the money, but when somebody
takes time out to acknowledge what youdo or appreciate it or whatever, to
me, it goes a long way. It doesn't go on. Know,
I appreciate every bit because I gotmy favorite share of haters, you know

(19:29):
what I mean. I got myfavorite share of people who want me to
feel. But the people who reallysupport and love and that's what it's about.
Like it's a family, you knowwhat I mean, It's love.
So that I appreciate that. Igotta feel that from you. Some more
encouragement things because the King's Court Ministry, which is my five of one C

(19:51):
three, has been sitting dormant fortwo years. When I seen your flyer
on Facebook, I went to myhusband and was like, we can still
do this, This can still happen. So there was a lot more to
our our ministry than just the club. But that was my personal baby,
was the club. So to seethat you're doing it and that you have
experienced some of the same trials wehave made me think it back up and

(20:17):
be like I'll right, let's go, let's move. So God, congratulations
to you forgether giving up. Ifeel that Fris God, thank you so
much. I'm getting chills, man, I am thank you. It's like
it's it's funny, like you neverknow who's watching or you never know who
you can touch or whatever when youstay obedient, you know what I mean.

(20:38):
And it's like God, it's likelike stay focused on God because if
you look at the haters, likelike when Peter right when he saw the
win in the ways he started tosee but it's like got to keep your
focus on Jesus. And and Itell you it was rough, but that
right there. Thank you that encouragedme, did that blessed me? Man?
And I'm if I can support youin any way, let me know.

(21:02):
At Okay, so what what doyou do? You have any projects
you're working on to our audience wherethey can connect with you, as far
as social media on your website wherethey can download your music and what should
we be looking for? Um,when it comes to a Mari Grace.

(21:22):
Okay, so you can find meon all social media. I am a
Mari Grace twenty twenty at Facebook. On Facebook, I'm a Mari Underscored Grace
twenty twenty on Instagram. Um,i am a Mari Grace. But no
space on YouTube yeah, that's prettymuch. I live on Facebook, so
find me on Facebook all the time. As far as new projects, actually,

(21:44):
one of the songs I did tonight, testimony is my newest project.
And your wife is actually any oneof them told me just a few minutes
ago to go ahead and go forthbecause I'm real, um protective over that
song. I don't really do ittoo too often, definitely don't do it
in the church house, but shejust told me to go ahead and take
it to the church house and releasethe hostages. So amen, I'm gonna

(22:04):
press forward. So that's gonna bethe next thing that's gonna you're gonna be
able to hear from me. Um, and you'll find that one a social
media all digital streaming platforms and allof that. M but I live on
facebooks, find me that every day. Oh man, I just man,
I just don't. I'm lost forwords right now. I'm lots of words,

(22:26):
but thank you. This really, this really touches me to see what
God is doing in your life andjust connecting with you and you're encouraging words,
and I know there's some amazing thingsthat God has in store for us.
So let's stay connected. Let's Imean even even if we start a

(22:47):
prayer line or something, you knowwhat I mean, pray once a week
or personal you know what I mean. I'm with it, like we need
to we need to take this inthis spirit so it can manifest in the
physical. You know what I'm saying. So if you're down, let me
know. You know, definitely getyour get your information. So I just

(23:07):
want you to shout out on anybodywant to shout out, and I'm giving
you the last words. You knowwhat I mean before he calls it out.
Okay, So I definitely have toshout out my one body family.
I have to shout out worship,Shady Church, our church family. I
just want to shout out Mary Christyand everybody who has supported me, the
GIN, the GIN Network that isthe Gospel industry industry network for the Tampa

(23:33):
Bay Chapter dur At Homes. Ijust want to shout out everybody who has
supported me, Kenny see William Wheeler, the CEO. And then I'm gonna
leave you with this. My nameis Amri Grace. A Mari is Yeruvian
for strength, and it is God'sstrength and his grace that I am still
here. I have dealt with suicidalthoughts. I have attempted at suicide.

(23:55):
My five year old called me fromNew York to Florida when I was holding
a knife to my wrist and toldme that she loved me and wanted to
live with me, regardless if wewere living on the corner in a dark
space. Like That's how real Godis. And that's why I go so
hard for the youth ideal. Iam bipolar, I have anxiety, so

(24:17):
I go real hard for the thingsthat impact me because I understand that at
the end of the day, ifGod could do it for me, he
could do it for anybody. Andthis is my job to make sure that
I encourage the saints that it doesnot matter what we're doing, what we're
facing, what we're looking like, what it's going through, God still loves
us and He's got a plan andit's correct. Come on, thrains,
God, come on, man.I mean, I just want to praise

(24:38):
God right now. I mean, that's your so encouraging. Don't matter what
you're going through. The fact, you know, my mom dealt with us.
I'm the mom that was schizophrenia andstuff, right, and so I
grew up on but she was likeabusive with it, you know what I
mean. So I grew up inan abusive setting. Keep her in prayer,

(25:00):
you know, because she's still kindof dealing with it. But it's
awesome to know that you've made itthrough that, like you had Guy walk
you through it, and even you'rethat's touching it. And your five year
old daughter said, I don't careif we you know, Box, like,
she wants to be with you. That's love. Come on, that's
love. And anything that the enemytries to use to shut you down,

(25:25):
God, will we use it toturn it around. What five year old
knows about being on the corner inthe street, she showed up, didn't
know it because I never let herexperience it, you know what I mean.
So for her to call me atthe right time, I will never
let that go, you know whatI mean. And she's got anxiety and
she've got a lot of things thatshe deals with. So we walk this
thing out together. We just ate. It's one of them days for you,

(25:47):
right, I'm gonna leave you be, you know what I mean,
And we just kind of so,Man, that's that's my thing. And
I'm gonna tell you what Guy toldhim, because I asked him, I
got a song that I'm in theprocess of writing, and it's just I
need to understand. If you madeeverything perfect and wonderful, why am I
so messed up? Because the averageperson doesn't understand ADHD and anxiety. They
don't understand that. They don't understandwe're crazy. That's what they're like.

(26:10):
We're crazy, But God said no, we're sleeper agents. Our time hasn't
come yet. That's why we seemcrazy to the normal people right now.
But when our time comes, butwe're gonna show the world exactly why we
were made unconventional. That's what itis. We're unconventional. I'm just sitting

(26:32):
here watching you talk, just sittinghere just I'm just I'm just getting pulled
in right while you're talking. Youhave so much to offer. That's why
you were attacked. You don't knowthat half Like God is just given me
a glimpse on what he put insideof you. You guys so much to

(26:53):
offer, you know what I mean, There's so much in there. That's
that's why the enemy it's afraid you'relike a threat. That's why you went
through what you went through because youdon't know you are gonna impact a lot
of people and and just let guybring that out of you. Like I

(27:14):
just saw that. Like when youwere talking, I was like, this
girl don't know, like the treasureshe truly is. You know what maybe
you do, you know, maybeyou do, but what it looks like.
Wow, I'm like, man,I'm just I'm just I don't know.
I can't really say it, butI know the like the only spirit
is just like you, you gotsome some big things to do in the

(27:37):
kingdom, you know what I mean. And you're like gold. It's like
there's treasure in there that's got tocome out, you know what I mean.
So God, Glory to God.No, I appreciate that because it
is an everyday battle every every day. It isn't. But look I believe
it that it isn't everyday battle. Some things you I appreciate the encouragement for

(28:02):
real. Man. All right, well, shout out to you guys.
Like I said, keep us inthe loop. We want to support whatever
you're doing. Definitely get you onthe radio, get you on the app,
give me all your information, yourbio, website, whatever you got,
logo and all that. Then we'llput you on the app and send
people to you and stuff, andwe'll keep up on what you're doing.

(28:26):
And definitely, if we got aproject or something, you know what I
mean, we know, or ifwe got an event or something, we
want to throw you on there. So I like it. All right,
all right, I'm gonna let youhave your evening back. We could we
could be interviewing all night, youknow what I mean. So I'm gonna
let you have an evening back, and hopefully you know, this is not
the last time that we connect likethat, for sure. For sure,

(28:47):
I'll be back a little bit doctor. All right, y'all, all right,
we're gonna close out this segment andwe're gonna talk to some other artists,
so keep it locked, all right, all right, what's up?
What's up? That she's a boyand this is his high This is the
pre show after party celebrity basketball eventright here in Las Vegas, Stellar weekend,

(29:11):
and we just had our showcase. And I love the fact that we
can showcase these artists. We canhear what they're you know, what God
is giving them and stuff, andthen we can do the interview. Now
we got stuff we could talk about, you know what I mean. Now
we can talk, and I mean, you know, I personally experienced it,
you know what I mean. Sothat's all I like. When I

(29:32):
can personally experience and artists, thenI like to sit down talk to him,
interview them. And your wife justinterviewed. And I'm telling you,
man, guy's got some special thingsboth of y'all. You know what I
mean. She told me a littlebit about how y'all got together and stuff
like that. So man, I'mjust telling you, keep up the good
work, bro. I believe Guyhas really got some big things for both

(29:53):
of y'all. So right now yougo. You go by the name of
scrappy. Love that name. Ilove that name. I don't know,
it's just that's cool. Scrappy, you know. Is it the scrappy or
is it past? It's pastor scrappingpast subscribing. Okay, I like that
scraping. Come on down and hman, you got up there. You

(30:15):
did your thing. A very talented, very gifted I heard you got your
hands in production and other stuff orwhatever. But let's get into your story
first. I think the most powerfulthing the gospel artists can share is your
conversion story. So what made yougive your life to the Lord, because
some people play with it. Theyhid part of their life, they give

(30:37):
half day life. But it's notuntil you give everything that doors begin to
open and God really begins to useyou and annoying what you got. So
what was that moment for you whenyou just gave everything to the Lord?
Oh Man? That moment for mewas about two thirteen. I came home
from work one day and I willI was married at the time. My

(31:02):
ex wife came home for work andsee my bags pack. Um. You
know, my ex wife was Caucasian. So I got in her mother's car
and my mother in law and shejust started driving. We drove about two
and a half to three hours literallydid I know they had signed me up

(31:22):
for a three day men's retreat outin the woods, no cell phones,
no nothing, just men loving onmen and and then talking about Christ.
You know, that was the turningpoint in my life. After that men's
retreat, they called the trades Das. I found out that there were men

(31:42):
praying for me for two whole yearswithout me even knowing. It was like
fifty of them. They all knewme. When I got to this camp,
I didn't know them, but they'dall been praying for me for two
years and checking up on me.But they were talking to my mother in
law. They weren't talking to mywife, and they weren't talking to them
me. So that experience when Icame home, oh man, when I

(32:07):
came home from that, that's whatmade me give it totally to Christ.
I always was in the church, but I was in the church and the
streets at the same time. Ihave a twin brother. He was the
good twin. I was the badtwin. So that's who I followed the
church, you know what I mean. So he kept me close, and

(32:28):
you know the words says keep themclose, and they would not department.
So my parents didn't keep me close. It was my twin brother. I
wanted to idolize and be like, you know what I mean. So yeah,
twenty thirteen, man, I gaveit all over man, Praise God,
Praise God. That's good man.And I know there's some people out
there that are probably in that samesituation you were in, so sharing your

(32:51):
story and your testimony could be theturning point for them, bro. So
I appreciate that for sharing that.Okay, So let's get into your music,
my brother, So what made youdecide to. Of course, you
got talents and gifts and abilities, and you could have went the other way.
You could have tried to go tothe secular route. And as a
matter of fact, there's a lotof artists at starting gospel, so they

(33:13):
can end up in a secular routeor whatever. You know what I'm saying,
which to me don't make no sense. You know what I mean?
You know why get the world lossoul? But so what inspires your music
and to keep it one hundred? You know what I'm saying. I decided
I decided to start doing Christian hiphop. I was a member of a

(33:37):
church in Tampa, Florida called CrossoverChurch, under the leadership of Pastor Tommy.
They called him Urban d, oneof the founders of Christian hip hop.
I was at his church. Iwas actually playing the congos. I
was in the band. I wasn'teven rapping anymore. Then my best friend
called me from Saint Pete, Florida, and he was like, a scrapping

(34:00):
man, we're doing this. We'redoing this Christian rap man. We need
we need you, we need youto come, you know what I'm saying,
to help us out. So itstarted out we just helping them out
with one song. We started. We started, We did a couple of
shows, and then all of themquit. Yeah, all of them quit.
They even left the church. SoI was stuck by myself. We

(34:22):
had a should the next day andI asked my pastor. I say,
so what I'm gonna do about tomorrow? He said, well, are you
gonna do it yourself? And that'swhen I became a singer, I mean
a single artist I was. Istarted out in the group and then I
became a solo artist after that,So it took off from the I started.

(34:43):
I started a hip hop night calledChop It Up Tuesdays, and then
the rest is history. Come on, come on, I'm telling you that
this brother is good. He's gotthe goods. Man. He was sitting
here standing up on stage, man, and he just shared his music.
Bro, And I'm believing that youmade some connections because there's some comments made

(35:04):
to me about what you did andall that. So I want my audience
when everybody to support our brother PastorsScrappy, make sure you get his music,
support what he's doing, and whydon't you go ahead and share your
social media and how people can connectwith you absolutely. You can connect with
me on YouTube it's one Body MusicFam. Also on i G it's one

(35:30):
Body Music Fam and Facebook. MatthewHarris. That's my that's my government name.
Look up Matthew Harris and that's howyou can find me, all right,
man or thank you for spending timehere with his high radio. We
want you to make this your secondhome. So whatever you got, sendace
your music, Senda. You're you'remean too soon here, put you in

(35:51):
rotation and we definitely want to giveyou imitation whatever event and anything we got
going. Man, you're more thaninviting to hit the stage with us,
man and and do this thing. You know what I'm saying. So I
appreciate that. Man. Brother, you got any last shout outs? Yeah,
man, I just I do wantto give a shout out to my
manager Martin. Yeah, man,I just want to give a shout out

(36:15):
to my manager Martin Christie for manbelieving in me and my wife. And
the last shout out is for mywife. In this industry is a lot
easier to do it when you gota partner that's doing it with you,
you know what I mean. Sothere's no jealousy or envy us going out
of town. We don't travel separate. We travel we travel together. So

(36:37):
it's a lot easier when you gota spouse that does it alongside you.
Hey man, all right, allright, man, thank you for spending
time with us here on his highradio. All right, make sure y'all
keep it lied. That's our brotherpassed to Scrampy. All right, all
right, all right, all right, yeah, back, this is the

(37:00):
pre show event. These are theartists that hit the stage during the pre
show event. And now we're gettingready to go ahead and do the main
event. The truth just came in, you know what I mean, the
after party, so that you justhit the stage. He was praying for
artists. He told us to bequiet because we sat back here talking an
interview. They didn't know it wasover at the quarter. But uh so

(37:25):
now we had my brother man,my brother king, a little man.
I'm telling you, bro, youwere a straight blessing man. You were
a blessing coming out for the factthat from one you came to Bible study.
Right, you came a Bible study. You know, fellowship in the
word. That's that's where he said, when you can get in the word
together and fellowship and then when youcame to the venue, you helped with

(37:47):
chairs, you were helping whole time. I ask you to help me,
co host, help with whatever weneeded, bro. And then that's a
that's an amazing spirit. Man,that's christ Like. You know what I'm
saying. So what's your's piration behindthat? Uh? Man? God saved
me, man, that's my mainthat's my main inspiration. Man, God
saved me. He took me fromhe took me from the blog. So

(38:14):
yeah, man, Uh, Godsaved me. Man, he took me
from gang banging. Uh, hetook me from prison. You know,
I was part of a murder forhigher group. You know I was doing
about of sinister stuff. Man.So now I'm just happy to be saved.
Man. So whenever I can goto a king to me bent,

(38:36):
I support with my time. Isupport with serving you know what I mean,
because that's the major thing that Iwant to do, is just served
to people who are serving to people, because that makes sense, you know
what I mean? Sincere that that'swhere that came from. A man,
A man, praise God, Bro, that is awesome. That is awesome.

(38:57):
Yeah, this is after party. They got it cracking down. Know
what I say they gotta crack itall right, bro, So I'm telling
you your music is pomperful, yourlyrics are powerful. You can tell there
it's anointed by the Holy Spirit. So what are you trying to accomplish your
music? Like? Once you seeyour music get to a certain place,

(39:22):
so go to a certain level. At what point are you gonna say?
Like, you know what that said, This is why I'm gonna do what
I do. Maybe I want todrown out every bit of negativity. Man,
all these secular artists, men thatare out there rapping about killing,
rapping about sex, money, murdered, the whole nine. I want to

(39:45):
drown that out. Man. Iwant to be, you know, one
of the voices for the streets thatlove God. You know what I'm saying,
Like, I got partners that's stillout in the street right now that
are you know, serving and youknow, doing the wrong thing. But
they love God and they're afraid tocome to church because of church. Judge
them. So my main thing withmy music, more than anything, man,

(40:07):
I wanted to touch people. Iwanted to give people an alternative.
And you know, by the graceof God, like I said, I've
been able to go to multiple prisonsand Arizona, multiple prisons in New Mexico
and do tours right on the righton the prison yard, and I've seen
significant changes. Ro I'm talking aboutpeople would change their whole lives around from

(40:30):
listening to the music. And that'swhy my saying is, don't chase paper,
chase purpose, because if you chasethe purpose, God's purpose, he
gotta fund that purpose. So thepaper is gonna come, you know,
kind of like what your wife wassaying. Man, if you're not doing
this, if you're not praying overyour pen, paper, studio, engineer,
producer, if you're not doing thatand not doing the stuff outside of

(40:52):
Sunday and Wednesday, what you're wrappingfor, you know. So I want
my music to transcend to flood outall that negativity, you know what I
mean? Man, I know that'sright. Like I was sharing about his
side, which avit takeover? Youknow what I mean. We're taking what
belongs to Guy, the devil pervertedit and trying to steal it. Then

(41:15):
we're taking it back and giving itback to its right Polona. You know
what I'm saying. So that's thesame thing driving out that negativity. You
know what I'm saying. So man, we got we got the same spirit
on that. I'm glad to leakup with you brothers. Definitely a pleasure.
Man. Why don't you give usall of your social media platforms,

(41:35):
your contact information, whatever you wantto give to the audience anyone listening to
this podcast so they can connect, support you and all that good stuff.
Man, I appreciate it. Iappreciate the opportunity. Man. My brother
Brian Herby One Nation under God.Man, that's my brother. Man.
Uh, he put me up onthis whole you know event man, and

(41:58):
I made an appointment of man, take it out here. So you know,
you can reach me on Facebook underDerek King Littles that's Littles. Would
have asked. Instagram is at KingLittles music music spelled muz i k and
let me seeing YouTube King Littles upunder King Littles. And I'm on an

(42:20):
all streaming platforms man. And I'mvery approachable. I'm always willing to come
out and serve. You know,I'm one of them people. Since I've
been doing it for the last twoyears, I ain't never asked for note
booking, no booking fee. Youknow what I mean, I always say
I'm available for free booking because Ibelieve that the gospel, the gospel is
free. But ministry calls, youknow what I'm saying. So if people

(42:43):
respect what you're doing in ministry, they'll saw a scene in to your life
without being grudgingly you know what I'msaying, because like the Bible will say,
you gotta be a cheerful giver.People don't want to sew into the
kingdom, man, you know whatI'm saying. People don't want to sew
into what kingdom been is doing. And I'm telling you right now on air,
whatever his hop kneed, holler atus man, and we got it.

(43:04):
If I got it, I'm sowingit with no problem. I don't
need no explanation or none of that. All I needed, Hey, bro,
we're doing I need a little man. It could be a phone bill
because see that's that's gonna do.That's gonna take stress off of you.
If your phone bill do, youcan't do kingdom work. You're ready,
you're trying to go. So peopleshould be willing to sow into the kingdom,
so into people who are really doingkingdom work, like the word saying.

(43:29):
Timothy some do it for ill game, some do it for the you
know something really about it. Butthe gospel gonna still be preached. So
into these people, so w intothem, so into his hop, so
into one nation of the God recordsMan, so into him. Man,
pray for him the main thing. And we're gonna be praying for you,
bro constantly. Bro. So y'allreach out to me, check me out,

(43:50):
get me up, and much love. Man. Thank you, man,
thank you all, thank you reallythank you for the prayers. You
know what I mean, Because ifit's now done in the spirit, is
not gonna be manifested in the physical. So thank you for the prayers.
I'n't want to start a prayer line. Maybe once a week or something.
Man, just getting get on thephone with people, you know, y'all,
people like I already talked to amariin Grace, you know, and

(44:15):
man peak a day where we canall just come and pray for like ten
minutes and something, just touching prayer. Bro. Okay, I'm with that.
I'm with that, bro. Iwant to you know, a lot
of you know, what I noticedis a lot of people in the body
when we get mad at our brothersand sisters. For whatever reason it is,
they stop praying for each other.I got I can't even lie.

(44:35):
I got people that I dislike deepdown the side in the body, but
I would never stop praying for them. I would never stop saying a prayer
for their families, for their wellbeing because God put us all together.
Man, you know what I'm saying. So let's do that. Man,
Let's get this prayer line popping, man, and then really be about it.
And Man, if it's one thingI could say to people out there

(44:58):
listening, man, don't stop prayingfor people that you care about. Don't
stop praying for your loved ones.Don't stop praying for the people in the
body that you get mad at.It's okay to deal with people with a
loans, you know, long handles, boone. Let them stay over there.
Because one thing I learned about withthe official body is my foot is
way away from my hand. It'sfar away from my hand, and but

(45:20):
we function but my hand and myfoot they function in one body. So
but if somebody step on my foot, what my hand gonna do, go
right down to comfort it. That'show the body of Christ would really be.
If one of us is hurt.Let's comfort each other. It's one
of us is financially down. Let'shelp them. Let's get together and sow
a seed into them. So that'swhat I'm all about, man, is
real life unity in the body ofChrist and loving and supporting each other.

(45:45):
So a prayer line is whatever,Like I said, whatever you need,
bro, whatever you want, whateveryou want to start off doing whatever.
Bro, let me know I'm availablephrase God. Bro, I'm with that.
Man, I with that. Man. You you haven't encouraged spirit,
man, You're an encourager, youknow what I mean. I feel that
in you. Bro. Thank youman. You're so needed in a body

(46:07):
you know, and more encourages bro, like you're ready to go, ready
to do this thing. And whatyou're saying about finances is kingdom because the
Bible says you will reap what yousold right when you sew into somebody else,
that's a return that God is agenerous guy, you know what I

(46:27):
mean. And God tells you tosew into other people, sewing in somebody
else, that's how you become rich. That's how God will keep putting stuff
in your hands. And also wemade it easy because now we are a
nonprofit organization. So that's a nonprofitorganization. That's a tax right off,
you know what I mean. Andeven if people yeah, and even if

(46:50):
people like we can you can getmonthly like five dollars a month, anything
man can help sustain what God isdoing in his vision. And not only
that, we have gift cards.Who where if you can buy gas and
grocery stuff you're gonna buy anyway, use our gift cards and we get a
procedugs back on once you spend. So we try to make it easy for

(47:14):
people to sue into the vision. So yeah, and everything's on our website
and hits out, makesure dot comor you can check it out on the
app hits hot radio and the appstore. Yeah, and if you have
a heart too, so financially, man, that's a huge blessing, bro.
And that's that's what's up, bro. So I'm gonna let you get
some shoutouts broad shout out to BrotherBrian Herby one Nation of the God Man

(47:38):
for this whole hooking me up withthat. Shout out to you and his
hop, your wife, all theartists that came through the night, the
vendors, i mean, everybody, everybody treated me like family. Man.
It was like family shoulder comes soonas I came in, I like to
I like to come in and startmeeting people, you know what I mean,
and introducing myself. Man. Soman shout out to my family back

(48:00):
in Arizona. Man that's always lookingout for me. That know about his
hop radio, know about his club, his hop you know what I mean.
So, man shout out to thekingdom. Man, this is a
this is a season where God ispouring out, he pouring, He pouring
out on all of his people. He poured it's the increased time, you
know what I mean. It's tryingto really be about this kingdom business man
and love each other and get aboutit. Because when the warfare get the

(48:22):
cracking, a lot of people aregonna start running. That's why he choosing
all these gangsters and these thugs andthese prostitutes and hustlers and hey, because
we're not we don't fear nothing. So man, let's just start really loving
and man loving each other. Man. So shout out to everybody that's really
really investing in each other, man, loving each other, praying for each
other. Man and man, hallelujah. I appreciate it. And I feel

(48:44):
like I gained a brother, man, you like a long lost brother.
