We appreciate your work in the community and for joining us.

(03:40):
All right, make sure you grab your no pads, your
Bibles in your highlighters as we go verse by verse.
So let's go before Father in prayer. Heavenly Father, we
thank you Father God. We do have another day, Father,
to lift your name up on God. Father God, let
us not be so busy or to take this day

(04:02):
for granted. Let us carve out time, Father, to dwell
in your presence. Let us carve out time to walk
in your love. Let us carve out time, Oh God,
to engraft your word into our souls, because your word
is able to save us. So God, Yes, God, cleanse
our hearts and cleanse our minds. I apply the blood

(04:24):
of Jesus to this podcast. Oh God, we trust and believe,
Oh God, it will go as far and as high
and as wide as you desire it to go. And
we pray these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
And guys, people said a man, all right, all right, okay,

(04:48):
so me with me. In the Book of John one,
chapter eight, the Book to John chapter eight, we're gonna
take the first two verses together, Verses one and two.
It says, but Jesus went to my olive. Now we

(05:15):
know little background in John chapter seven. We just got
done seeing the five thousand fed Well that was six actually,
but seven. Uh, this is the feast of Tabernacles where
his brothers encouraged him to go openly Jesus decided to

(05:38):
go secretly because the Jews decided decided to kill him
because he healed a man on the Sabbath. And as
he went he taught the crowd. And he is always
making these claims that I am the bread of life.
He who eats of me shall be satisfied. I am
the living water. He who drinks of me shall never

(05:59):
thirst again. And so we need to get the hint
that Jesus is the answer. Jesus is the only one
who could quench that longing in our soul, the thing
that we search for. We try to get it out
of relationships. We try to get out our drugs or
gambling or whatever sin of our choice. We try to

(06:22):
feel a void in our hearts where only God can
satisfy our souls and fill that void. And so that's
step one, is allowing the Lord to satisfy us, to
fill us up. We need to drink and eat of
him daily. And we saw his disciples walk away from

(06:45):
him because of this teaching. They said it was a
hard saying. But we also saw the twelve stay with
them because they said, you are the only one who
has the words of eternal life. Amen. And we also
saw that you cannot follow him for the wrong motives.

(07:06):
The crowd wanted to follow him because they ate the
loaves and the fish. But he says, no, you know,
eat of me the things that would satisfy you, not
just food for your belly. You know, I'm paraphrasing, But

(07:29):
that's some of the background that we see. But in
verse eight it picks up. It says, but Jesus went
to the Mount of Olives. Now early in the morning,
he came again into the temple, and all the people
came to him, and he sat down and taught them. Now,

(07:55):
this was a normal practice of Christ. He loved to
sit down, and he loves to teach, and he loves
to explain. Now, this was a familiar place for Jesus
to retreat and to pray. The mouth of Allahus was

(08:17):
a place of communion with the Father and the quietness
of that early morning. Jesus returned to teach, showing his
consistent devotion to both God and to people. How amazing

(08:38):
would that be to sit there and hear from God
himself a man physically like we hear from him in
the spirit. But man, they didn't know who they had
in their miss you know what I mean. Now, also,
this shows us his consistency. You see, Jesus didn't just

(09:01):
show up for the crowds. He showed up for the Father. First,
we learned here that private prayer fuels public power. Let
me say that again. That is a t shirt private prayer,
it will fuel public power, public ministry. Amen, that is awesome.

(09:28):
All right, let's go to three and six. Three. Then
the scribes and Pharisees brought to him a woman caught
in adultery. And when they had set her in the
midst they said to him, teacher, this woman was caught

(09:51):
in adultery in the very act. Now, Moses in the
law commanded us that such should be. But what do
you say this? They said, testing him, that they might
have something of which to accuse him. But Jesus stooped

(10:13):
down and wrote on the ground with his finger, as
though he did not hear. Now this is very interesting
right here. You see the Pharisees they were interested in
accusing him, not in righteousness. They were interested in trapping Jesus.

(10:38):
At this point, if he said stoner, he'd contradict his
own message of mercy, and they were trying to trip
him up that's what they're trying to do. You see,
if he said let her go, then he'd seemed to
disregard the law of Moses. So it's one of those

(11:01):
catch twenty two's you're wrong if you do and you're
wrong if you don't. Right now, this is the heart
of religious hypocrisy right here, using people's pain to push
an agenda. And we see this so much, We even

(11:23):
see this in politics. Right, So be careful of anyone
who wants to expose sin more then they want to
restore a soul. Let me say that again, beware of
anyone who all they want to do is expose sin

(11:44):
more than they want to expose, I mean, restore someone's life.
My question is where was the man if she was
caught in the very act of adultery. According to the
law of Moses, the man was to be stoned as well.
And so hypocrisy was all over this thing, all right.

(12:13):
Let's go to a verse six through eight and says,
right here, they said, testing him that he might be
might have, that they might have something of which to
accuse him. But Jesus stood down and wrote on the

(12:38):
ground with his finger, as if he did not hear.
So When they continued asking him, he raised himself up
and said to them, he was without sin among you,
let him throw the first stone.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
It looks like you lost another one.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
And again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
Now this is very interesting. Then those who heard it,
being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one,
beginning with the oldest, even to the least, and Jesus

(13:29):
was let alone and the woman standing in the midst
All right, let's stop right there for a quick second.
Now that's an interesting that Jesus stooped down twice to write.
Once he wrote, and once after speaking, is symbolic of humility.

(13:59):
He who who was without sin, humbled himself before sinners.
Let me say that again, he who was without sin,
humbled himself before sinners. Now, notice Jesus didn't argue with
the Pharisees. He let conviction speak louder than confrontation. Sometimes

(14:25):
silence and truth are the loudest sermons. When you say
that again, silence and truth are the loudest sermons. He
just spoke the truth. We don't have to argue with
people about the gospel. All we have to do is

(14:48):
allow the conviction of the Holy Spirit to work. Sometimes
all we have to do is just sit there and
remain silent. There we quote the scripture or speak a
true principle out of the Word of God. That is powerful.

(15:09):
And I've heard pastors say that he was writing in
the saying maybe their names and what they did last night,
right because they walked away convicted. I mean, I don't know,
you know, that's just I think you know their interpretation.
But either way, the conviction of the Holy Spirit is real,

(15:36):
all right, nine through eleven. Let's go Versus nine through eleven,
and it says and those who heard it, being convicted
by their conscience went out one by one, beginning with
the oldest, even to the least. So something was convict them.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
I don't know if.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
Feels well he was righting the saying, or as he said,
he who has no sin cast the first stone. And
you think sinners would be merciful, but sinners can be
the hardest on each other, especially when we see our
own sin on somebody else. That's when we really get judgmental.

(16:25):
And Jesus was left alone and the woman standing in
the midst. When Jesus had raised himself up, he saw
no one but the woman. He said to her, woman,
where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?

(16:48):
She said, no one? Lord? Now this is interesting, right,
no one, lord. Now, let's look at this. This is

(17:08):
the heart of the full Gospel of Christ. Mercy first,
then transformation next. Jesus didn't excuse her. Sin a freed
her from its power. Jesus didn't say, you're fine, keep

(17:31):
living how you want. He said, go and sin no more. Real.
Forgiveness empowers us to change. Now, let me make sure
I know I read. Let me see. Oh I didn't
read the whole verse. On eleven, it says, and she said,

(17:52):
no one, lord, And Jesus said to her, neither do
I condemn you. Go and sin no more. Let's park
it there for a second. He didn't say, oh, it's okay.
I know your heart while you're out there sinning. Oh

(18:12):
you know what, as a matter of fact, my grace
gives you a license to sin. Just pull out the
grace card every time you go and indulge your flesh.
He didn't say, oh, you know what, that's okay, you
can sin and still make it to heaven. No, he says,
go and sind no more real forgiveness empowers us to

(18:37):
change real forgiveness. Forgiveness will cause our lives to be transformed.
There's no such thing as one saved, always saved. That
is from the pits of hell. A lot of believers
are backsliding, and they're going back to their old life.

(19:01):
They're getting comfortable in their sin once again, not being convicted.
They might say they struggle with something, but the truth
is the power that comes from God in the Holy Spirit,
in the Word of God, can deliver us instantly from

(19:25):
any bondage of the flesh. Doesn't take twenty years to
get delivered. It just takes a heart. It takes us
to truly be renewed in our minds. It takes us
to cast down imaginations and taking every thought captive. It

(19:46):
takes us crying out to the Holy Spirit to change
our desires to line up with His word. It takes
in some cases, fasting in praying. It takes faith. It's
a fight. Don't give it up. Don't give up. All right, y'all,

(20:16):
we'll be back after some miss.

You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
is the His Hop Radio show.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
And we are back. We are back. That's my brother
third Day the Mouthpiece feature the artists right here on
the His Hop Radio podcast. If you like that music

the top of the homepage, and yeah, you will not
be disappointed. Hit us up a bumpet twenty oh seven.
Now it's time for the accountability partner segments. And the

(24:27):
accountability partner segment is exactly that it was birth out
of go and see no more. Right, there's a lot
of us in church who have been struggling with the
same sin for years, and I'm concerned that they're not
being disciples, that they're not being accountable. If you're serious
about changing your life and getting over those besetting sins

(24:51):
and being delivered this podcast. We're here to help you.
We're here to get you on the right track. We
want to see guys, people grow and benefit and to
be who God has called us to be. Not saying
that we're perfect. We're still growing, but the Bible says
that we're supposed to go from glory to glory. So

(25:16):
if you would like that accountability on the app, go
to the top left menu, click on podcasts and when
that drops down, look for Yours Truly the His Hot
Radio podcast. Click on it and then find towards the
bottom of the accountability partner form. Fill it out. It's

(25:37):
good for just a daily check in if you just
want to test yourself and see where you are in
the faith. The Bible says that we are to judge
ourselves and to test ourselves constantly. We should be repenting
on a daily basis. This is a daily walk with
the Lord. And there's a section where it says would

(25:58):
you like someone to follow up with you, So myself
or one of our team members, we will follow up
either email or text or prayer, phone call and just
pray with you. You know, the Bible says, confess your
faults to one another, pray for one another so that
you could be healed. And also we need a mentor
in our lives. It's good to have someone pour into you.

(26:22):
Then also we need a mentee, someone that we can
pour into as well. But we got to have something
to pour into, right. We were never meant to do
this on our own. That's why it's important to find
a good church home and a pastor that teaches a word,
that believe in discipleship.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Right.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Hopefully you do have someone in your life like that.
And if you do, the challenges week is to call
them up and get with them and ask them, you know,
ask yourself, who's holding me accountable this week? Right? And
Jesus didn't let that woman walk away the same and

(27:07):
neither should we stay stuck. I'm gonna say that again.
Neither should we stay stuck. Find someone who will find
you and remind you to go and send no more.
Send them a prayer, check in or adverse today. They

(27:32):
will remind you to go and send no more. These
are the people we need in our lives. Amen. Also
to our artists and family, we want to let you
know if you got a project, a single or whatever
you got going. Maybe he wrote a book. We can

write on the ground confronting the accusers? And what did
Jesus right on the ground and confronting that can be accusers.

(29:11):
That's going to be a good one. Now for our
community shout out and updates of our activities in the community. First,

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Part of it.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Yes, just last night was our Buffalo Wild Wings event.
It was amazing. Uh, this is my first time going
to this location. It's like right off the strip going
up Harming. He turned right off, uh you park, There's
an underground parking garage there, and we went in and

(30:32):
they were very gracious. The manager came and helped me
set up supplied power in a in an extension cord
for us. They moved tables out of way. I mean
they just gave us the whole place. Shout out to
that location, the Miracle Miles Shop. The people were gracious there.

(30:54):
They allowed us to just uh talk on the mic
and give our announce spens to let the community know
who we are and what we are about. Also, they
gave us a section where we can paint are so
everyone has seen. Presentation was there. It was open for
the public to come and paint their story if they

(31:16):
just want to get something to eat and come and
paint right after activities. Of course, I was on the
ones in twos and this is amazing. This is amazing.
We're gonna go around to different locations and we're gonna
keep doing this. This is an amazing door that the

(31:37):
Lord has opened. Shout out to Metro Police Department, Shout
out to Buffalo Wowings. We got some great, great things
that are scheduled the next couple of months, so please
keep it locked here we do. We are planning our

(32:01):
Christmas event, so we are accepting toys if you want
to hit us up on our toy drive so we
can pass them out towards the end of the year.
We would definitely appreciate that. And also we are gearing
up for Giving Tuesday, so keep a lookout for that,

(32:27):
and also working on our Faith Beats event. This is
a time where artists can travel out to Vegas as
we take over a park or something like that and
host this event. So hopefully we will see you out
there as well. And also we want to highlight our

(32:52):
nonprofit organization, His Hot Nation, Inc. As always, we want
to let you know about his Hot Nation. We are
dedicated to reaching the youth in the juvenile detention centers,
meturing young men and young women, young adults, bringing Kingdom

(33:14):
music and hope into the community. Visit his hot nation
dot com if you would like to donate. Every donation
is a tax write off, his tax deductible. If you're
write it off if we're getting close to tax time.
If you're looking for good ground to sow and too,

(33:36):
let us know, let somebody know, share us, get the
word out. Also, if you'd like to volunteer or donate
or anything like that, just hit us up on the
website his hop nation dot com and we would love

(34:01):
to work with you to make an impact in our
world today. Amen. So if you have an event, if
you got stuff going on, let us know. We are
at community radio station. We want to shout you out.
Let you know what's going on and how you can
get involved right here on our network. But that we're

(34:27):
going to close out this segment. But as you have
some final comments before we before we do. Now back
to our chapter, Jesus didn't come to condemn the world,
but to save it, right, That's what the Bible tells us.

(34:48):
And when he says go and send them more, that's
not condemnation at all that's an invitation for freedom. He
invites you to get set free from that very sin

(35:11):
that has you bound. And so we want to encourage
you to call out to Jesus right now and ask
him to save you and to set you free. Hey man,
stay encouraged, stay focused, and remember his Hot Radio isn't

(35:34):
just music, it's ministry. So it's not about us, it's
about the Christ in us. God bless.
