in the Bible itself. This is where Jesus fulfills his mission,
and his mission was the Cross. This is the chapter
(01:41):
of accomplishment. Jesus declares. It is finished, every prophecy, every promise,
every purpose fulfilled. Amen. So we're gonna dive in. We're

and all that good stuff. And also a other website
his hotnation dot org, which highlights more of our nonprofit organization,
(03:35):
our programs and things like that. So let's go before
Eavenly Father in prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before you
in the mighty name of Jesus y'all shu Ahamashiah, or God,
help us to abide in Christ. Yes, Holy Spirit, help us,
so God, to walk this walk, to do the word,
(03:56):
not just to hear it, not just to know it,
not just again and knowledge, and not just to understand it.
Then walk away and do our own thing, Oh God.
No God, we want to be in your perfect will
for our lives. We want to yield ourselves to you,
even if it means coming to the cross. So God,
(04:16):
we want to finish our assignment, finish our task, Oh God.
We don't want to leave anything undone before we are
called before your great and mighty throne, Oh God, to
give an account for our lives. Oh God. So we
thank you for your grace, your mercy, bless everyone. Under
(04:38):
the sound of my voice. In Jesus' name, we pray
a man Hallelujah. All right. Gospel of John nineteen. Let's
take verse one all the way to three. Now we
know that this is the crucifixion. We just went through
(05:02):
the last Supper. We just went through the whole betrayal.
We just went through the three denials of Peter. Peter
denied him three times. Jesus is just beginning his trial.
They smoked him, and Jesus said, why do you smoke me?
For what reason? If I'm speaking truth? And so this
(05:25):
is just the beginning of it. But we're thankful that
he did this for us, because through this, this is
how the price for our redemption has been paid. Hallelujah.
So now he's before Pilot. So then Pilot took Jesus
(05:49):
enscourged him, which is very excruciating. And the soldiers twisted
a crown of thorns and put it on his head,
and they put on him a purple roll, and they said, hell,
king of the Jews, and they struck him with their hands. Wow,
(06:15):
this is brutal. Pilot's scourge was brutal, like I said
a second ago, design to satisfy the crowd's blood thirst
and evade full crucifixion. But Prophecy demanded more. Isaiah said,
(06:38):
by his stripes, we are healed. And man, this is
a picture of submission that Jesus submitted to the full
will of God. There's also a picture of substitution. Every
(07:00):
lash Jesus took was meant for us. Just think about that,
every single lash that's supposed to be us, every drop
of blood spoke of mercy. Noticed how they mocked him
King of the Jews, is what they said. What they
(07:22):
didn't know was they were crowning the true and living king.
They had no clue that they were actually correct and
what they were saying, all right, let's go from four
(07:43):
to six. Poly then went out again and said to them, behold,
I am bringing him out to you, that you may
know that I find no fault in him. Then Jesus
came out, wearing the crown of thorns and a purple robe,
(08:05):
and Pilot said to them, behold the man. Therefore, when
the chief priests and officers saw him, they cried out, saying,
crucify him, Wow, crucify him. Now. Even Pilot recognized the
(08:31):
innocence of Christ. But Pilot feared overroade conviction. Pilot was
fearful of this situation. How many of us today do
the same. We know what's right, but cave under pressure
(08:53):
the crowd's voice can't overwrite the conviction of the spirit.
Don't let fear take you to a place where it
makes you betray your faith. Let me say that again.
(09:13):
Don't let fear make you betray your faith. Amen, Verse seven,
all the way to eleven. The Jesus answered him, we
have a law, and according to our law, he ought
(09:34):
to die because he made himself the son of God. Therefore,
when Pilot heard that saying, he was more afraid and
went again unto the petroleum and said to him and
(09:58):
said to Jesus, where are you from. Jesus gave him
no answer, And Pilot said to him, are you not
speaking to me? Do you not know that I have
the power to crucify you and the power to release you.
(10:20):
Jesus answered, you could have no power at all against
me unless it was given you from above. Therefore, the
one who delivered me to you has the greater sin. Wow,
the one who delivered you to me has the greater sin.
(10:41):
When Pilot heard son of God, he became afraid. A
gentile ruler suddenly faces the possibility of divine judgment. Pilot
as Jesus, don't you know I have power to crucify you?
(11:03):
But Jesus replies, you could have no power at all
against me unless it had been given you from above.
That's authority under sovereignty. Jesus wasn't a victim. He was
(11:24):
in control, even in suffering. Wow, hallelujah. Even in suffering,
Jesus was still in control. All right. Let's go to
verse sixteen. Then he delivered him to them to be crucified.
(11:46):
Then they took Jesus and led him away, and he
bearing his cross, when out to a place called to
went out to a place called went out to a
(12:11):
place called the place of a skull, which is called
in Hebrew Gelgatha, where they crucified him and two others
with him, one on the other side, in Jesus in
the center. Now pilot wrote a title and put it
(12:37):
on the cross. All right, all right, Now the cross
was heavy, not just in weight, but in burden, sins,
(13:01):
full weight laid upon the savior. Oh wow, thank you Lord,
thank you Jesus. Think about this, though the creator of
the universe carried the wood of his own creation to
(13:21):
die upon it. Let me say that again. Think about this,
The creator of the universe carry the wood of his
own creation to die upon it. That's humility, that's love
(13:43):
on full display. Hallelujah. That doesn't touch your heart. If
that doesn't make you want to repent and get saved,
then we need to pray. That is so amazing. That
(14:09):
is so amazing, hallelujah. Verse nineteen. Now Pilot wrote a
title and put it on the cross, and the writing
was Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. That
(14:34):
many of the Jews read this title, for the place
where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it
was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. Therefore, the chief
priests of the Jews said to Pilot, do not write
the king of the Jews. But he said, I am
(14:56):
the King of the Jews. Answered what I have written,
I have written. Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus,
took his garments and made four parts, to each soldier
a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was
(15:21):
without seen woven from the top in one piece. They said,
therefore among themselves, let us not tear it, but cast
lots for it whose it shall be that the scripture
(15:42):
might be fulfilled, which says they divided my garments among
them and for my clothing they cast lots. Therefore the
soldiers did these things. Wow, that's pretty good. All right,
(16:20):
we're gonna keep going. Here. Now there stood by the
cross of Jesus, his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary,
the wife of Copius, and Mary Magdalene. And Jesus therefore
(16:44):
saw his mother and the disciples whom he loved, standing
by the disciple, whom he loves standing by He said
to him mother. He said to his mother, women, behold
thy son. Then he said to the disciple, behold thy mother.
(17:07):
From that hour, the disciple took her to his own house.
After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished
that the scripture might be fulfilled, said I thirst. Now
(17:32):
a vessel full of sourrow wine was sitting there, and
they filled a sponge with sorow wine, put it on
the hits up and put it on his mouth. So,
when Jesus had received the sorow wine, he said, it
is finished, and bowing his head, he gave up his spirit.
(18:01):
Hey man, all right, we're gonna stop there. Those three
words it is finished translated to the Greek to a tassi,
meaning paid in full. The debt of sin was canceled permanently.
(18:26):
And then we need to rejoice right there. The debt
of sin, the ages of sin, is death. That that
debt has been canceled permanently. Family, the cross wasn't a defeat,
It was destiny fulfilled. The power of sin is now broken.
(18:53):
When Jesus said it is finished, he was not giving up.
He was completing the that began before the foundation of
the world. Hallelujah, it is finished. Our debt has been paid. Hallelujah,
(19:26):
all right, Verse thirty one. Therefore, because it was the
preparation day, that the body should not remain on the
(19:47):
cross on the Sabbath, for that Sabbath was a high day,
the Jews ass pilot that their legs might be broken,
and that they might be taken away. Then the soldiers
came and broke the legs of the first and of
the other who was crucified with him. But when they
(20:11):
had came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead,
then they did not break his legs. But one of
the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately
blood and water came out. And he who is who
(20:38):
was seen has testified and he who has seen has testified,
and his testimony is true, and he knows that he
is telling the truth, so that you may believe. For
(20:59):
these things were done that the scripture should be fulfilled.
Not one of his bones shall be broken. And again
another scripture says they shall look on him who they pierced.
After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus,
(21:23):
but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked Pilot that
he might take away the body of Jesus, and Pilot
gave him permission. So he came and took the body
of Jesus. And Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus
(21:43):
by night, also came, bringing a mixture of miror and aloes,
about one hundred pounds. Then they took the body of
Jesus and bound it in stripes of linen with the spices,
as a custom of the Jews is to bury. Now
(22:09):
in the place where he was crucified, there was a garden,
and in the garden a new tomb in which no
one had yet been laid. So they laid Jesus. Because
the Jews preparation day for the tomb was nearby a man.
(22:37):
He was even in a borrowed tomb. All right, So
even in his death, prophecy is fulfilled. He was buried
with a rich just as Isaiah fifty three. I'm sorry,
(23:03):
he was buried with the rich, just as Isaiah fifty
three declares. Now, notice who shows up. Joseph and Nicodemus,
two men who are once silent. Now step forward in
bold faith. When you truly meet Jesus, you can't stay
(23:26):
in the shadows forever. Allelujah, Thank you Lord, Thank you
for this gift, Thank you for your grace. Amen. All right,
be right back.

All right, all right, we are back. Uh. That was
Brea right there. I got people to reach. Come on,
we all have somebody to reach with the Gospel of Christ.
With this good news. It is good news to know
that the sin debt has been paid. The Bible tells
(26:06):
us the wages of sin is death. Either we allow
our Lord and Savior to pay that debt for us,
or we will have to pay it ourselves. And trust me,
we do not have enough money to pay that debt.
Sadly to say, there's a lot of people in hell
(26:28):
today who's paying that debt on their own. They refused
to receive the Savior and allow him to save our
very souls. And we want to avoid any of that
(26:49):
on this podcast. We want every person who comes in
contact with us on this podcast or anywhere else to
be to make it into the King to me man,
that is our heart and our prayer. All right, now
it's time for the accountability segments. Hit them over to
(27:12):
the Life Chat because we have posted it. This in
the Life Chat as well, you can read along with us. Now.
I always share that this was birth out of serving
in church, serving them the altar, praying with people and
(27:33):
knowing that people have issues, they have besetting sins. But
seeing my brothers and sisters struggle with the same thing
year after year. Sometimes it takes agreement. Sometimes it takes mentorship, council,
it takes someone holding us accountable at times so that
(27:54):
we can really get through our issues. Now, let's keep
each other strong. Ask yourself and my living like it
is finished? Are you walking in freedom or still trying
to earn what Jesus already paid for? Wow? That is powerful.
(28:19):
Need to ask yourself that I need to ask myself
that am I living like I'm trying to earn something
that has already been paid for by Jesus, our Savior.
Accountability starts with accepting grace, not guilt. We need to
(28:40):
accept the hand of grace that God is giving unto
us today. Hey man, how many people need to hear this?
Please share this episode. People need to hear this. The
price has been paid. It's all by His grace. It's
(29:01):
not by you you earning it is not does it
depend on your behavior? Depends on the grace of God.
We only need to receive it surrendered to the love
of God today. Amen. Also this week, I want to
