When we're in there live as a group community, we
hold each other accountable, we go through the Word of God.
We just stay connected, we give each other suggestions, and
we just is iron sharpening iron. So that's the whole goal.

(03:31):
That's what the Lord told us to do. Amen. All right,
today we're jumping in John chapter four. This is where
we meet the Samaritan woman. John chapter three was powerful
with Nicodemus, and also that chapter gave us the breakdown
of darkness versus the light. We got to keep our

(03:54):
hearts pure. We gotta stay in the light, y'all. So
let's go before a father in prayer. Heavenly Father, we
just come to engage you today. First, we just want
to say Hallelujah. We want to say thank you. We
want to say praise to Lord. We just want to
give our focus and our praises unto you, Old God,

(04:16):
Oh Heavenly Father. We just ask o God that you
will touch God, annoint o God this episode this podcast. Lord,
we ask God that you give us insight and revelation. Lord,
and we ask that you will draw all men unto
it as we lift up Christ Jesus, for your word
says that if we lift up Jesus, all men will
be drawn unto him. Oh God, it's not about us,

(04:37):
it's not about our glory, but it's about getting the
Gospel to those who need it. And we thank you
Father and Jesus' name and amen. All right, all right,
let's do this. So John chapter four, and we're gonna

(04:59):
start start off in verse one. We're gonna go to
verse one and two. Therefore, when the Lord knew that
the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more
disciples than John, now here is the ops right, the
opposition the Pharisees. We're gonna see a lot of opposition

(05:22):
through the ministry the life of Christ. Verse two. Though
Jesus himself did not baptize, but his disciples. And I
think that's amazing. How Jesus knew how to delegate, he
knew how to pour in, he knew how to build
up the men, his followers, the people that were a

(05:44):
part of his ministry. Verse three, he left Judah and
he parted again to Galilee. Okay, so we see some
movement here right now. John makes it clear himself that
he wasn't. Then you say that again. John made it

(06:09):
clear Jesus himself wasn't doing the baptizing. Like he made
a point to say that, hey, his disciples were baptizing.
This was to avoid elevating human pride. No one could

(06:30):
boast I was baptized by Jesus himself. Well, can you
hear that? Imagine someone saying that, like Jesus himself baptized me,
Like that would be a whole new religion. Now. You see,
even here, Jesus shows humility and he shows wisdom. Sometimes

(06:52):
leadership means empowering others to do the work and taking
the spotlight. Man, could you imagine someone said that Jesus
himself baptized me in the Jordan. And this is something

(07:14):
that I actually struggled with a little bit even with
the club, because I had people who are capable, people
who desire to people who wanted to start administry that
wanted to but and I wasn't against that at all.
But you don't just assume the position and just like

(07:37):
take advantage. No, we got to work together, right. There's
a process of being discipled. There's a process there. You
don't want to just take anyone's name and just put
their brand on you and do what you want, right.
That's why there's company policies and procedures for every company
that you work for. There's a way you have to

(07:59):
conduct yourself in order to work there, all right, Verse
three and four, Amen, Amen, Amen? He left Judea and

(08:21):
departed again to Galilee, but he needed to go through Samiria. Now,
most Jews avoided Samaria because of cultural hatred, basically racism.
But yeah, Jesus needed to go that he need. You see,

(08:50):
it wasn't the geography as the reason why he needed
to go. It wasn't because he had to to create
his own path, but it was more of a spiritual need.
He had a divine appointment he needed to go to.

(09:10):
Now this reminds us the people that we avoid are
often the very ones God is sending us to. Let
me say that again, the people that others avoid are
often the very ones God is sending us to. So

(09:36):
just because other people may avoid them, just because other
people may hate on them, doesn't mean God doesn't want
us to go and minister and do a work and man,
all right, verse five and six. So he came to

(09:58):
a city of Samaria, which just called Sychar, near the
plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
Now Jacob's will was there. Jesus, therefore, being wearied from
his journey, sat thus by the well. It was about

(10:22):
the sixth hour. Okay, Now it's interesting that Jesus became
weary from his journey. I can relate to that, Like

(10:44):
it's good to travel. I love to catch a plane
or to drive go out of town. My wife and
I we love to travel. We just took our first
cruise together this year. It was amazing. Can't wait to
take the next one. But hey, we get weary, like
sometimes I can't wait to get to my hotel room

(11:05):
and relax and get that nap, get that nap in
that power nap, you know. And so this is what
Jesus was experiencing now, his humidity, his humanity. The humanity
of Jesus shines right here. He was weary. He was
fully God, yet fully man. Right that gives us a

(11:28):
personal insight. He was fully God, but yet he was
fully man. The Bible says that he emptied himself of
his deity to become a man, so he can completely
relate to all of us. Amen. Sometimes ministry happens in

(11:50):
your weaknesses. Think about that. Don't wait until you feel strong,
until you feel better to be used by God. Sometimes
when you're weary is where we hit that divine appointment.
Sometimes we have to get up, even when we're retired,

(12:12):
to go out and winess to go pass out flyers
to go pray for somebody or whatever we may be
dealing with. They have issues in our marriage, issues at
home with our children. God still wants us to be
able to minister. Amen. That's food for thought right there.
That's discipleship. Not living by our feelings or our emotions,

(12:37):
but by where to God. Amen. That just encouraged me. Hallelujah.
All right. Let's take seven through nine. A woman of
Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, give
me a drink, for his disciples had gone away into

(12:58):
the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria
said to him, how is it that you, being a Jew,
asked a drink from me, a Samaritan woman, for the
Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Wow, that's even sad.
Even the history behind that. I would like to go

(13:21):
in depth in that, maybe on another podcast or something.
But this is if you remember, there was a Northern
and Southern kingdom in Israel after King Solomon died, and
the Samaritans are basically from the Northern Kingdom, and they
were overtaken by Samaria and they were just captured and

(13:46):
brutalized and stuff like that, and so these are their brothers,
they're legitimate. But then they were mixed with other races
and so they considered them like they're not pure Jews,
and so they shunned them. And so there was a
whole history. It's very interesting. So I encourage you everyone
listening to this podcast to study it, look into it,

(14:09):
learn a little background about what's going on here with
the Samaritans and Jews. Amen. Now, when Jesus sat there
and he began to speak to this woman, this broke
three cultural barriers, right, men speaking to women and there

(14:35):
was alone. They were alone. Keep in mind the disciples left,
so he's alone one on one with this woman, a
Jew speaking to a Samaritan, which we just talked about
what was going on, and a rabbi speaking to a sinner.

(14:55):
Right back then, in that culture, these things just would
not have and there were so many reasons to divide
and to kind of throw people to the wayside. Right now,
Jesus goes where religion won't hallelujah, that's the praise right there.
Let me say that again. Jesus will go where religion

(15:17):
religious people won't go. He talks to the overlooked, and
to the rejected, and to the broken, hallelujah. He talks
to them, He hangs out with him, he spends time
with them, to rejected, the overlooked, the people in society

(15:40):
who have been basically thrown away. And people will go
out of their way to mock, to lie on you,
to stab you in the back, to do all these things.
They figured. They don't want you. You're not qualified, you're
not skillful enough, you're not smart enough, whatever reason they

(16:02):
used to come against you. Jesus says, you know what
I want? That one, that's the very one that I want.
That's the one I want to spend time with. Amen.
And this is my story, hallelujah. Although I've been rejected,
I have been accepted by Christ Jesus, our Lord. Amen.

(16:27):
All right, chapter verse ten, let's go to verse ten.
It looks like you lost another one. Jesus answered and
said to her, if you knew the gift of God
and who it is who says to you, give me
a drink, you would have asked him and he would

(16:49):
have given you living water. And man. Now this is powerful. Now,
let's take an insight of Jesus and how he is
able to meet every need that we have in our lives. Amen,
It's amazing and a powerful and a wonderful thing to

(17:10):
walk with Jesus and have a relationship with him. Now.
The living water is eternal life given freely by Jesus Christ. Amen,
life is found in him. This is our life now.
But this is deep. We're often chasing water that won't
satisfy us. We're often chasing the water that will allow

(17:36):
us to thirst again. And He's going to touch on that.
How many times have we chased the world thinking that
it was going to meet some particular need and it doesn't.
If I get this car, or if I buy this house,
or if I marry this person, if I get this job,

(17:57):
if I get this degree, if I get that other
and I've been on both sides, Like I've said before,
I've been I've had a successful business. I've had events
where the building was packed, where you couldn't find enough
chairs to sit the people. I've been on the news,
I've been on TV. You know, There's been things that

(18:20):
I've accomplished. And now I'm actually getting my first degree.
I'm getting my socialist degree. I have a trade in construction.
I know how to work with my hands. I have
a radio station, a podcast network. I have a lot
of stuff, but and doesn't satisfy. Only Jesus gives us

(18:44):
the water that quenches forever. I would not trade anything
for my relationship. But Jesus Christ, Amen, all right, I
said eleven and twelve. The woman said to him, Sir,
I have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep.

(19:08):
Where then do I get that living water? Are you
greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well
and drank from it himself, as well as his son's
and his livestock. Hey, man, this is a good question.

(19:30):
This is a normal human response. Right. She doesn't know
who she's talking to right now, but this is a
normal human response. She is thinking physically, but Jesus is
speaking to her of spiritual thirst. Kind of reminds me

(19:51):
of Nicodemus. You know, when Jesus said to be born again,
Nicodemus went straight to the natural. He's like, how can
a man be born again when he's old, can enter
a second time into his mother's womb? And so we
are so natural? We are natural people, right, But Jesus
always wants to bring us to the spiritual. Now, how

(20:17):
many times do we miss the move of God because
we're stuck in the natural? Wow, let me say this again.
How many times do you and I miss the move
of God because they're stuck in the natural. This, right
here can be the only marital counsel you in need.

(20:41):
Right because you're stuck in the natural, You're stuck in reality.
You're looking at the situation and circumstances. God always says
walk by faith and not by sight. I've been in
situations and I'm going through a situation now to where
if I don't put on my glasses and look through faith,
look through the eyes of Christ, I would be very discouraged.

(21:04):
And I believe I'm speaking for everyone else because look
at the state of the world. Look at how many
people right now are getting laid off of their jobs.
Look at how many people are struggling. People are losing
their homes, people can't sell or buy a home, and
all this stuff. The governments are turning against us, like
there's nowhere where we can go and get help. Well, beloved,

(21:30):
it's only because we have to put on our faith glasses,
and we have to seek and engage God, and we
have to see Okay, what are you doing? Because God promised, right,
we're into covenant with them. He promised that the righteous
will not beg for bread. There's some covenant promises that

(21:54):
He's made for us, and so we need to tap
into those promises and trust God to be the provide
her to protect her. He has a plan, and we
know the number one plan is rapture. Right, He's coming
back for his church. So the priority is to every
day live like Jesus is coming every day. You gotta

(22:16):
be ready, amen. All right, where we're at thirteen and fourteen,
Jesus said to her, whosoever drinks of this water will
thirst again. Amen. But whoever drinks of the water that

(22:38):
I shall give him will never thirst. But the water
that I shall give him will become in him a
fountain of water springing up into ever lasting life. Now
this is a radical statement, a powerful statement. Not just
a mere man can make the statement. Can you imagine

(23:01):
someone coming to you. You would think he was a lunatic, crazy,
a con artist, Like what you can give me? What?
Only God, only the Son of God, can make this statement. Hallelujah.
That's why Jesus is more than just a prophet. And

(23:22):
we talked about this a second ago, so I'm not
gonna go too deep into it. I just want to
mention that this is the essence of the gospel satisfaction
in Christ alone. Only Christ can satisfy our souls. Now,
we live in a thirsty world, right, even that term thirsty.

(23:43):
He's thirsty, she's thirsty. But Jesus says, I am the answer.
He is the one, the only one that can quench
that thirst. Hallelujah, all right. Fifteen through eighteen. The woman
said to him, Sir, give me this water that I

(24:04):
may not thirst nor come here to draw. Jesus said
to her, go call your husband and come again. And
the woman said and answered, I have no husband. Jesus
said to her, you have well said I have no husband,

(24:28):
or you have had five husbands, and the one whom
you are now, the one who you now have, is
not your husband. And that you spoke truly. Wow. Now
Jesus just blew her mind with that prophetic word. Amen.

(24:48):
Now Jesus reveals truth gently but directly. To remember, truth
is always mixed and mingled with love. But he puts
his finger on her wound. He knows that this woman

(25:16):
was pretty much taken advantage of, advantage of by men.
She's had five husbands and finally she just gave up
and says, forget about marriage. How many people do you
see today. They don't know how to navigate marriage. I
don't even know what marriage is about or what it's for.
And you see marriages just ending tragically. If we don't

(25:40):
have Jesus, if we don't have God in the center
of our relationships, then this is basically inevitable. Even if
you're stuck in a marriage, it could be hell on
earth if we don't do it God's way and man, Now,

(26:01):
real transformation comes when Jesus exposed the real us. That's
when we really get touched. That's when we really can repent.
That's when we can really get help. But he still
offers grace. Now, this keeps in mind, brings to mind

(26:26):
to me that Jesus one day is going to judge
the world. He's going to judge our lives, and he's
going to expose the truth. But on that day grace
will not be available. We need to go to Jesus
now while there is still grace available when he goes

(26:49):
through our lives. And that's basically like I keep saying,
where accountability comes in and helps us. We want to
get this right before you mean him on that day
and have some stuff, some skeletons in the closet, right
because he can see right through that closet amen verse nineteen.

(27:15):
We're gonna take it nineteen and twenty. The woman said
to him, Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.
Our father's worshiped on this mountain, and you jew say
that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.

(27:37):
So now she's changed her tone. She's talking about she
doesn't have a husband. You know, a lot of commentaries
say that she was a flirt, she was flirting with
him that you know, this is a very moral woman,
that she has a reputation, all this stuff, and you know,

(27:57):
I mean it could be possible, you know, she could
have mentioned, well, I don't have a husband. I got
a boyfriend. But she just said, hey, I don't have
a husband. But now everything shifts here. He prophesies. He
looks into her life. And I've been in very various
ministries where I've had people who prophesied into my life

(28:18):
and spoke the word, spoke on things that I've dealt
with right, and they just read my mail like that
is an amazing gift and I would like to flow
in that even more. Now it shifts and she starts talking,

(28:40):
you know, about religion or culture, or she's trying to
talk about spiritual things. So she tries to shift the
focus right to a religious database. Now, how often do
we deflect conviction with church? Talk? Right with Jesus brings

(29:00):
her right back to the relationship. You know, she's trying
to talk about you know, how many times have you
asked a person or a person even says to you that, hey,
I'm a Christian?

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Right?

Speaker 1 (29:18):
And then you see them, you know, cussing, you know,
cussing up a storm, you know, speaking with a dirty mouth,
or you know, you see them living a life in
contradiction to what they're professing, and they just don't want
to receive the conviction. They wonder, well, if you know

(29:40):
the Lord, why are you cussing? Or why do you
why are you shocking up? Why are you living with
a girlfriend or a boyfriend outside of marriage? You know,
why are you drinking? Why are you doing drugs? Why
are you this? You know, why are you living a
life of homosexuality? If you say that you know God,
you say that you're a Christian. And Jesus went right

(30:03):
to her life, right to her lifestyle, like you had
five husbands and the one you within a husband. And
so let's see how Jesus handles this. Jesus brings her
right back to relationship, right, And that's what we need

(30:25):
to do. We need to bring people right back to
relationship when they begin to talk that religious talk. Man
verse twenty one, Jesus said to her, let me see
twenty one through twenty four. Jesus said to her, woman,

(30:47):
leave me. The hour is coming when you will neither
on this mountain nor in Jerusalem worship the Father. You
worship what you do not know. Now, that's scary. That's
a scary statement. How many people are out there worshiping
something that they do not know. No, we were created

(31:11):
in design to worship. We are supposed to worship God.
That's why we get knowledge and understanding through the Bible.
But a lot of people out there are tapping into
things and they don't know what they're worshiping. Look at
all the occults, they are a rising occult members and
Satanic worship and all these things new new waye things

(31:34):
and stuff. Just look, you can go to YouTube and
just look at all these testimonies of people who found
Christ in the midst of this. They had to be
rescued and they had to renounce and escape these things
because they worship things that they do not know. That's scary,

(31:55):
but it says we know what we worship for salvation
is of the g Hallelujah. I'm gonna praise God right there.
I will always be pro Israel. I mean, this is
Jesus's family members. Come on, now, you know Jesus loves
the nation Israel, and it's because of this nation we
are able to be saved today. Like Jesus was born

(32:21):
of a Jewish family, and the whole world propheted from that.
Anti Semitism is straight Satanic, this other enemy, and it
breaks my heart when I even see Christians fall into that.
I mean, it doesn't mean we have to like everything
they do as a nation, their policies or whatever. I mean,

(32:42):
everyone has things that they struggle with, but at the
end of the day, there are God's chosen people. God
is able to deal with his nation Amen twenty three.
But the hour is coming, and now is when the
true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Hallelujah.

(33:07):
That's a powerful statement. We need to worship him in
spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such
to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship
him must worship in spirit and in truth. See how
we can never get away from the truth. And Jesus

(33:31):
is the way the truth in the life. No one
comes to the Father but through him. Amen, Jesus is
the Truth. Now, let's break it down. Worship is not
about where you are locally. It's not about your location.
It's not about being in Jerusalem or being in Samaria.

(33:55):
It's not about any of that. It's about the heart
and the spirit. It's all about your heart, posture, and
your spirit. Have you been born again? Remember Chapter three. Now,
this right here just destroys religion, obliterates religion period. There's

(34:18):
no room for religion in our relationship with the Lord.
It's not about buildings, it's not about the choir, it's
not about rituals. It's about worshiping in spirit and in truth.
And man, Now, just to help you out with the

(34:39):
spiritual part. Our words are spiritual. Our words are what unlocks.
Spiritual doors. That's why when you see satanic rituals and
things like that, they do a lot of speaking. The
power is not in the the spells right, and the

(35:00):
items you know you might have. You know, you see
the witch's cauldron and whatever, and they got a pot
of stuff, or they might have a picture or something
that belongs to the person that they use to curse
or hex a person. But the truth is, the power
is in the words that were spoken. The words we

(35:23):
speak give demonic beings energy. It gives them the right,
it gives them the legal right to enter into our lives.
All they're looking for is agreement. They will put a
suggestion in your mind. They'll put something before you, before
your eyes and ears, and it appeals to your flesh,

(35:46):
and they want you to agree to it. They want
you to give in to that temptation as all you
have to do is agree, and they got you. And
the same thing goes to the kingdom. God tells us
to resist the devil. We got to cast down thoughts
because iniquity is basically the thought of your heart, even

(36:10):
if you didn't even do the sin, it's the thought. Right,
Lucifer thought in his heart that he was gonna go
against God, and that was considered iniquity in the heart.
You didn't even do the action of sin yet, you
didn't even do the thing yet. So we got to

(36:33):
keep our hearts clear. And the same thing with the
word of God. That's why we got to speak the
word out loud. The Word of God is powerful. No
weapon formed against me show prosper We got to speak
the word. We got to speak God's promises. We got
to speak the word in our hearts. That's why we
got to hide the word in our hearts so that

(36:53):
we will not sin against them. When that thought comes
into our mind, we got to rebuke it. We gotta look,
I resist that I thought perishes right now in the
name of Jesus. Right. That's just some spiritual warfare, one
O one. So that's why when we go to church
and we're worshiping, we're singing. We sing a lot of

(37:14):
songs that is spiritual. We're speaking the word of God
that is spiritual. We're hiding a word in our hearts
that is spiritual. We're worshiping that is spiritual. And truth
is we gotta stay in our bibles. We gotta keep
it together. We sing songs and we read the Word
of God, worshiping spirit and in truth. Now let's go

(37:43):
to verse twenty five and twenty six. So the woman
said to him, I know that Messiah is coming, who
is called Christ. When he comes, he will tell us

(38:06):
all things. She just said to her, I who speak
to you, am he Hallelujah. That's a bomb right there,
Like you need to put an explosion on this podcast
so I can get the explosion button when bombs get dropped. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

(38:29):
Now this is the one, or should I say, this
is one of the clearest self revelation of Jesus as
the Messiah. If anyone ever tries to tell you that

(38:49):
Jesus was not the Messiah, bring him to this verse.
He says it clear and plain. Looks like you lost
another one. Jesus doesn't hide from the broken. He reveals himself.
He knew that this woman needed him, needed to know him,

(39:13):
and he just tells her plainly. Now this brings to
mind when you read the Gospels. How many times do
the Pharisees and the Sadducees tell him to reveal himself?
How many times as Israel, the nation Israel itself said,
show us a sign. How many times has it been

(39:36):
required that if you are the Messiah, show us and
Jesus just tells her plainly. There was no parable, there
was nothing. It was just plain like, look I am
he Hey man, he shows and reveals himself to those

(40:01):
who are broken. Hallelujah. All right, man, it's time for
a quick music break. You would be right back right

Glory to the Lord where it all belongs. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

in chapter four talking to the Samaritan woman, seeing how
Jesus is gentle with the broken right. Amen, Hallelujah, with
a beautiful heart. Our Lord and Savior has all right,

(43:47):

Jesus break by speaking to the woman at the well?

(47:20):
and our community. Shout out. I just want to give
you an update about our event that's gonna go down
this Saturday. If you can make it out to the

City of the World. Store is right by the Knellis

(47:42):
what is that? The Knellist outlet store is right next
to it. If you go towards the back of the
mall by the food court entrance, you come in that way.
You just go straight ahead and you'll see the store
right there. We met the owner last night. Very nice lady.
She's an instructor. She's a teacher in the local school system,

(48:07):
and she's got amazing art all over the store and
her money has her own wall. She's got her own wall,
she's got her art hanging up. And today is October first,
so the whole month of October they're gonna display her art.
What a blessing. This is amazing. She is only sixteen

(48:30):
years old and she's up.

Speaker 3 (48:32):
In the mall.

Speaker 1 (48:32):
Y'all, come on, God is amazing. So take some time
out go check out her pieces. Go ahead and purchase
and support this young woman, this young entrepreneur.

Speaker 3 (48:48):

(51:04):

belove it. We're going to close it out. I just
have a final comment on this chapter. We just walked
through John chapter four, verse one to twenty six, the

(51:27):
story of the Samaritan woman at the well. Now, remember
Jesus offers a living water satisfaction for our souls. Let
me say that again. Only Jesus can satisfy. Actually, I'm

(51:49):
gonna give you some homework. Look up Will Smith when
he's talking about mountaintop right something like that. He gives
us the worry about hitting people who hit rock bottom.
But what happens when you come to the end of
wealth and the end of fame, Like you don't bought

(52:09):
everything you wanted to buy, Buying something else just doesn't satisfy,
doesn't do nothing for you. You know, the end of money,
the end of the top. He says, it's empty there
as well. Hey man, Jesus is the only one who
can satisfy the soul. So we keep on drinking from

(52:30):
him and you will never burst again. Hallelujah, keep on drinking.
Get that drink, or to the Lord, add that to
your prayer list. Lord, I come to drink from your
well that my soul may never thirst again. Amen, hallelujah.

(52:53):
At his feet is where we belong until next time.
This is your boy, mister his hop, This is his
hop Radio. Meet us here every day at eleven o'clock
specific standard time, eleven am until then, Stay Kingdom and
