(05:23):
our faith in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.
All right, hopefully you got your bibles ready, because this
is a This is gonna be pretty exciting. It's gonna
be awesome. So let's remove all distractions and let's dive

(05:49):
into this now. In verse one of chapter thirteen, I'm
gonna go ahead and read it, then will fall back
and get some nuggets out of it. It says, then
I saw, then excuse me. Then I stood on the
sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rising

(06:11):
up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns,
and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads
a blasphemous name. Now, the beasts which I saw, was
like a leopard, and his feet were like the feet
of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of

(06:34):
a lion. The Dragon gave him his power, his throne,
and great authority. And I saw one of his heads
as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly
wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed

(06:55):
the beast. So they worshiped the dragon, who gave authority
to the beasts, and they worship the best, saying, who
is like the beast, who is able to make war
with him? And he was given a mouth speaking great
things and blasphemies, And he was given authority to continue

(07:18):
for forty two months. Then he opened his mouth and
blasphemy against God and blaspheming. His name is Tabernacle, and
those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him
to make war with the saints and to overcome them.

(07:38):
And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue in nation.
All who dwell on the earth will worship him. The
names have not been written in the book of Life
of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Anyone has an ear, let him hear. And he who

(08:01):
leads into captivity shall go into captivity. He who kills
with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here
is the patience in the faith of the saints. Then
I saw another beast coming up out of the earth,

(08:24):
and he had two horns like a lamb, and spoke
like a dragon. And he exercised all the authority of
the first beasts in his presence, and causes the earth
and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast,
beast whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs

(08:48):
so that even makes fire come down from heaven on
the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives
those who dwell on the earth by those signs which
he was granted to do in the sight of the beast,
telling those who dwell on the earth to make an
image to the beast who was wounded by the sword

(09:12):
and lived. He was granted power to give breath to
the image of the beasts, that the image of the
beast should both speak and cause as many as would
not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
He calls all both small and great, rich and poor,

(09:33):
free enslaved to receive a mark on their right hand
or on their forehead, and that no one may buy
or sell except one who has the mark or the
name of the beast. The number of his name. Here
is wisdom that he who hear let him who has

(09:58):
understanding calculate the number of the beasts, for it is
the number of a man. The number is six six six. Wow,
that was a lot. That was a lot. Thank you
for being with me as I read that whole chapter.

(10:21):
But trust me is going. We're gonna get a lot
out of it. So amen, all right, let's look at
verse one through ten. Now John begins this chapter with
a terrifying image. He says, and I stood up on

(10:43):
the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise
up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns,
and abund his horns, ten crowns, and abun his head's
a blasphemous name. Now I thought it was interesting that

(11:05):
he was standing on the sand of the sea. Now
this reminds me of a beach, and I love water.
You can ask my wife, you can ask my family.
Every chance we get, man, we're going out to the beach.
We go out on my brother's boat. Shout out to

(11:28):
my brother Jabrel and his wife for taking us out
multiple times on Lake Mead. We go out, man, and
we enjoy the water. And we go out to California
to different beaches and we just enjoy the nice soft
sand and the waves just hitting us. We really enjoy that.

(11:54):
But this would be a very strange thing to stand
on this beach and see the image that our brother
John saw. I can just imagine the revelation that he received. Now,

(12:18):
this beast represents a global empire. And if you listen
to our last episode, we broke down the dragon. The
dragon had seven heads, crowns, all this stuff, and so
it's funny how this beast resembles the dragon. Right, we're

(12:44):
gonna break that down. But also we discovered that Satan
is the god of this world, that he has always
been in control of these worldly empires, these kings, these
potentates or whatever you want to call them, that has
ruled the world. They have been heavily influenced by Satan.

(13:09):
Now this beast represents a global empire, a political system
backed by Satan himself. The seven heads and the ten
horns connect us to Daniel's vision kingdoms and kings that
oppose the rule of God. Remember we talked about that

(13:29):
in our last episode. These are not just governments, but
spiritual systems of rebellion against the mighty Lamb of God,
which they will not prevail. Amen. Now Verse two tells
us the beast is like a leopard and a bear

(13:50):
and a lion. Now pulling traits from all the major
empt of the past. You got Greece, you got the Persians,
and you got Babylon. But there is a little twist

(14:11):
to this, the dragon gives him his power and great authority.
You see, Satan himself empowers this beast. This is a
counterfeit kingdom mimicking the Kingdom of God. Let me say

(14:34):
that again. This is a counterfeit kingdom is mimicking the
Kingdom of God. As we know, when Christ reigns, he
will have all authority to reign as king. God the
Father will give him all of the authority to reign,

(14:55):
to judge the nations, and he will rule like a
potter's vessel. Now let's take away some insights from this.
In verse three, it mentions the wounded head that was healed.

(15:20):
This represents a seemingly fatal blow to this system, possibly
a fallen empire that has been revived, causing the world
to marvel and follow it and worship it. Now we

(15:42):
are seeing the rise of a political spiritual system demanding loyalty. Now,
a lot of people say that this is the fallen
Roman Empire that has been revived. We know that the

(16:03):
Roman Empire was never conquered, It just collapsed from within.
Now I've also heard other people say that this is
the Antichrist himself that will receive this blow, and that
he will die somehow, but then he will rise again.

(16:29):
And some people say that when he rises again, Satan
himself will be embodied in him. Now these are just
you know, do your own study. These are just some
commentaries that I've read in some things that I've heard
in messages over the years. So it could be a

(16:52):
political system, an empire that revised, or it could be
personally that Antichrist himself and he fakes a resurrection. He
wants to God, wants to copy I mean, Satan wants
to copy God so bad, so he probably wants to

(17:13):
fake the resurrection of Christ with his false Messiah. Now
here's a question. Are we paying attention to the systems
today that demand allegiance at the cost of our faith?

(17:41):
That is a powerful question. Are we paying attention today
to the systems that are being put in place that
demand allegiance at the cost of our faith? Is there

(18:01):
any system out there that is demanding your allegiance. Let's
take a second and think about COVID nineteen. Think about
all the people who are forced to take that vaccine. I,

(18:25):
for one, I did not take the vaccine. Look at
how many people were threatening their jobs, threatening everything if
they did not take the vaccine. I even went to
a doctor's appointment to have them try to talk me
into taking the vaccine, forcing me to. It's just one

(18:50):
step away from them saying, you know what, renounce your
faith or you will lose your job. Renounce your faith,
or you cannot buy groceries. Renounce your faith. This is
where the systems are headed. I hope you're paying attention.

(19:11):
All right, let's get back to it. In verse five
through ten, it says, and there was given unto him
a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies. This beast speaks

(19:32):
against our heavenly Father, Almighty God, and yet the world
will listen. He makes war with the Saints and overcomes
them temporarily. But we do know that to live is

(19:56):
Christ and to die is gain, So did he really
overcome them? Ultimately, if they hold on to their faith,
they will make it home to Heaven. And also, I
want to point out that this group cannot be the

(20:16):
Church because Jesus said that the gates of Hell shall
not prevail against the Church. So it's impossible for the
Church to be on earth during the Great Tribulation. Because
if that's the case, then Jesus's word would fail, and

(20:38):
we know that His word cannot be broken. Amen. So
these are the tribulation saints, where this beast had the
opportunity to overcome them. But don't lose heart. It's only
for a season. Verse ten ends with the encouragement here

(21:00):
the patience in the faith of the saints. Sometimes we're
called to endure. The early Church faced a lot of persecution.
The end times Church will face persecution again. But God

(21:21):
has not forsaken us. He has a purpose even in
our suffering. Amen, even in our suffering, He has a purpose.
So I never said that the Church will not be persecuted,
but the Word says that the gates of hell shall

(21:43):
not prevail against her. All right, Now, let's jumped down
to eleven and eighteen. The Beast from the Earth. Verse eleven,
John sees another beasts coming out of the earth. This
one looks like a lamb, but speaks like a dragon.

(22:09):
That's deception at its finest. It looks like Christ, it
looks like truth and peace, maybe even religious, but its
voice is Satanic, and this beloved, I believe, is the
false prophet. Now I want you to notice how similar

(22:33):
these beasts look. They look like the serpent, the dragon,
seven heads and the crowns and all this stuff. And
now here's another beast. Looks like a sheep. Very religious,
but his words are like a dragon. Satan's number one
weapon is deception. The only way that we can get

(22:58):
the truth is out of the word of God. Let's
be careful of that. Let's not deceive ourselves. Let's not
allow the enemy to deceive us. That deception is wicked. Now,

(23:21):
this false prophet has a religious system and he is
the leader of it. But he points everyone to worship
the first Beast. Now this is similar to the work
of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit points everyone to

(23:41):
worship Jesus Christ. The Spirit is here to uplift Christ.
Jesus the work of the Spirit. But this false prophet
is pointing everyone to the first beast, to Antichrist. This
is spiritual deception because he even performed signs and wonders.

(24:03):
He calls fire from heaven. How many of you think
of Elijah and the Old Testament. I'm thinking the enemy
has been waiting. I don't think he was allowed that
the enemy could have. He probably would have called fire
from heaven, and God forbide him from doing it. But

(24:24):
Now he gets his chance. Now he gets his opportunity
to deceive the people. And he was probably waiting for
thousands of years to do this, to call fire down
from heaven. And this is gonna deceive the earth. The
whole world will be deceived through these false miracles. Now

(24:49):
also the false prophet will institute the mark of the Beast.
Now this is very popular. A lot of people have
heard about. There's been movies produced behind this, the mark
of the Beasts, and it would be implanted in the
right hand or in the forehead, without which no one

(25:12):
can buy or sell. People are gonna literally starve to
death by refusing to take this mark, if they have
enough resistance, if they have enough fight in them, which
I do pray amen, But this could possibly be one

(25:33):
of the consequences. Now, this past weekend I did my
visit at the juvenile detention center. Our classroom was full
and we had a discussion about this, and I was
telling them the BT system is already here in place.

(26:01):
These are the early stages of it. They already have
the technology. They have a microchip that they've been developing
for years that they can implant in your right hand
or on your forehead, and without it you cannot buy

(26:21):
or sell. Imagine your employer requiring that you take this
microchip or you would be terminated immediately. Or let's think
of the people who have worked all their lives and
finally got to the point where they can retire, and

(26:43):
they got retirement, They got all this stuff saved up
in the bank, your four to one K, all this
stuff that you all your life, you've been saving for now,
all of a sudden, the government coming to you saying,
if you want to continue to receive your retirement pay
or you want to tap into your four o one

(27:05):
k or whatever investments, even the stock market all that.
If you want to access all this money you mean,
working hard for all your life, you gotta take this microchip.
But in order to take the microchip, they want your
allegiance and they want you to renounce your faith in Christ, Beloved,

(27:28):
That is crazy. So how much more should we be
motivated to store up our treasures in heaven rather than
storing up our treasures in this life? Wow Verse eighteen,
it says, here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding

(27:54):
count the number of the beasts, for it is the
number of a man and his number is six hundred
six score and six, as we get the popular six
sixty six from the number of a man falling short
of God's perfection, and God's perfection is seven. Seven is

(28:18):
a number of perfection. Wow, this is a lot. All right,
Let's look at some application and then we'll go to
a quick music break. Now we need to walk and discernment,

(28:42):
belove it. We are being called to discern the times,
we are being called to know the season that we're
living in. Spiritually, systems rise that demand our loyalty. But

(29:05):
we must remain loyal to the Lamb. We cannot be
deceived by signs, power and appearances. We walk by faith,
not by sight. If it doesn't line up in the Word,

(29:28):
then discard it. If you can't find chapter in verse
and break it down in context and understand it, then
discard it. It's deception. Even at the juvenile detention center,
one of the kids asked me about some of the

(29:50):
other chaplains that come in there, and they asked me.
That asked me whether or not a certain chaplain to
them that before you die, God will give you a
chance to repent. And I said, well, I don't care
if it's a chaplain or pastor or whoever. If they

(30:12):
can't show you chapter in verse, then it's just their opinion.
You can take it or leave it, and personally that
gives them a false hope. That to me, that's like, oh,
you don't have to live in a readiness state, right,
God calls us always to be ready to keep our

(30:34):
lamps full of oil because we don't know the day
that the Lord should return. Right, But it's almost given
a guarantee, like I can live a life of saying
it right before he comes back. I can repent and
get saved like No, but I don't know the heart

(30:55):
of the chaplain, so I don't want to speak too
critically above that. So but just from what this student
was saying, then you know, like I said, chapter in
verse always all right, now it's time to take a
quick music break and set up our brother Alex Jean,

(31:18):
I need faith right here on the his Hot radio podcast.
I was stuck in my mind. I couldn't get it out.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
It felt like a President five, always doing my time.
I need your words so I could break out of mind.
Why would I believe it?

Speaker 1 (31:44):
I needed it?

Speaker 3 (31:45):
You I'm sticking in your mind.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Let me go down to the group. I'm done, be
in quiet. I'm speaking my mind. We're gonna do this
all the time. We're gonna do this out of time.
I need that base, I need that grace and I
need it say. I needed love, I need your word
and I.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Need that faith.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
By when I move, you live that proof, you carry
you me. We're gonna do this all the time. We're
gonna do this all the time.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
Father, our father to Car.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
It was never another look at me. You cut someone
to trusts too much of me that I couldn't come front.
I need someone to love about you. I needed love.
You was there all the time.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
I need that trust, and you gave me your mind,
show me the truth, he said.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
See you carry your fine. We're gonna do this all
the time. We're gonna do this all the time. I
need that.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Pace, I need that grace, and I need to say.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
I need a love.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
I need your way and I need that by what
I'm moving, You're living at proof, you car.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
We're gonna do this all the time. We're gonna do
this all the time.

Speaker 4 (33:17):
Alright, I'm right, we are back.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
This is the His Hop radio show and podcast network. Hey,
we're talking about the Book of Revelation. The topic is
chapter thirteen. We're looking at the bee stuff, false prophet,
the mark of the beast man. This is this is
not good. Someone's planet Earth. We need to get our

(34:05):
backs packed spiritually, and we need to be ready for
our Lord's return. I'm telling you that was Alex Jean
talking about we need faith right here on the show.
And the next up is our accountability Partner segment. This
is something that we've added to the show. What has
inspired this is the words of Jesus himself. Then Matthew

(34:31):
chapter seven, he says, yeah, You've done many wonderful works
in my name, but I never knew you depart from me.
You that work iniquity. And we know that sin always
disrupt our relationship and our intimacy with God. God cannot

(34:51):
fellowship with sin, He cannot tolerate it. He is holy,
He is righteous. In the wages of sin is death.
We're just up death and destruction. Even if we go
to church, even if we quote scripture, doesn't matter what
platform we have podcasts. I can be on this podcast

(35:13):
and still not be right if I don't take the
time out to examine my heart. Tho's pastors out there
that are leading their congregation straight to hell. And so yes,
let's hold each other accountable. Now, this is attached to

(35:34):
the podcast. So if you download that app HI shop
His Hot Radio, you hit that top left menu and
you go down to the podcast tab, go to the
His Hot Radio podcast and look for the accountability partner form.
Fill it out as often as you like. It's a

(35:56):
self check. It's like a list, something to check our hearts,
some to check, how did we do today? Are we growing?
You know? It's almost like a plan.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Right.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
Sometimes if you plan to fail, then you if you
fail to plan, then you have planned to fail. There's
just an aid, a tool, and actually you can request
a follow up and either myself or someone from that
His High team will follow up with you and pray
with you and work with you. Let's say, if you're

(36:28):
working with if you're struggling with drugs, or bitterness or
a sexual sin, anything like that. That is what this
segment is for because we don't want to leave no
one behind you man, So right now we're gonna look
at bitterness. Bitterness, Yes, is a killer. We're called out.

(36:54):
We're gonna call it out, and we're gonna cut it
off at the root, because if you don't kill bitterness,
it will kill you. Goodterness will kill your peace, it
will kill your joy. Goodterness will kill your spiritual growth,
and it will kill your relationships. Bitterness doesn't start big.

(37:17):
It starts small. It starts with an offense. Someone hurts you,
someone disrespects you, lies to you, betrays you, and you
say nothing. But inside something starts growing. That's the root
of bitterness. The Bible is clear, and Hebrews twelve fifteen

(37:41):
it says, look diligently, does any man fail of the
grace of God? Does any root of bitterness springs up
to trouble you? And thereby many be defiled? Catch it.
Bitterness doesn't just affect you. It spills out onto others.

(38:06):
Bitterness It'll poison relationships. It'll poison your prayers, your purpose.
It's a secret killer because it hides under religious behavior.
You can smile, you can say God bless you, and
still be bound by offense. Now here's a couple of questions.

(38:37):
Who do I need to forgive? Who am I still
rehearsing arguments with in my head? Do I smile in
public but secretly want them to fail? Am I bitter

(38:59):
with God because he didn't answer how I wanted him to. Now,
these are a couple of reflection questions to see whether
or not bitterness is in your heart. And I'm gonna
actually add these to the live chat. And this is
where accountability kicks in. We don't lie to ourselves, if

(39:27):
we don't sugarcoat it. We have to answer these questions honestly.
Even in Ephesians thirty one and thirty two, Let all
bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and evil speaking
be put away from you and be kind to one another, tenderhearted,

(39:50):
forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ's sake, has
forgiven you. So Amen, going over to the accountability partner
segment and fill out that information so that we can

(40:16):
get this dealt with, get it clean, get it out
of our hearts. And yes, the next time that we
come together, we will pray and we'll talk. We'll stay
on bitterness for a minute, because bitterness is a killer.

(40:50):
Now let's get to some final thoughts on this topic. Now,
if you notice I have extended some time I'm on
this because chapter thirteen is.

Speaker 4 (41:04):
Hard.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
There's a lot in it, and there's a lot that
we really need to understand or please go to our
website his hotnation dot com if you want to submit music,
if you want to find out more stuff that we
got going with the ministry, and I want to give
a shout out to so everyone is seen that we

(41:27):
have an event coming up August ninth. We're working with
Fresh Wing Community Church or back to school event. If
a need school supplies, hit us up on our website
his hot nation dot com. If you live in the Las.

Speaker 4 (41:41):
Vegas area, get us up.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
Now.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
The stage is being set as we speak. Revelation thirteen
gives us a glimpse into a world that shall be
To see that the Lamb is still in the throne.

(42:10):
You need to stay faithful, you need to stay alert,
and we need to stay in the word. We just
don't know the day in the time. We just don't

(42:39):
know when all this is going to hit the fan.
But we do know that we can trust and our
Lord and Savior. Those are the time to get to
know him. Now is the time to be ready a man.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
With that.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
My time is up. Thank you for spending time with
us here on the podcast. Make sure you catch the
next episode as we dig into Revelation fourteen, where we
will see the Lamb in the one hundred and forty
