Lives.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
I say, Headquarters Club, It's Hog Los Vegas. Hey, yo, yo,
Welcome back to his hot radio podcast where faith meets
(00:35):
the beat in Truth Transforms Lives. I'm your brother, I'm
your host, mister his house, and today we're diving into
the powerful Book of Romance, starting with chapter one. As
(00:57):
we go verse by verse, chapter by chapter through the
Word of God. He just finished the Book of Revelations
or the Book of Revelation Shun and I just felt
in my heart that we should jump into the Book
(01:17):
of Romans. After we see the plagues, the judgments, and
everything that's gonna happen to the unrepented and to the ungodly.
I thought, well, you know what we need help. We
need a book that's gonna show us how to live
(01:39):
a victorious life, how to live a life of victory
in the face of what's coming next to the planet Earth.
I believe we're in the last days. I believe that
we could see the return of Christ any day, and
all this could be put in place. The beast system
(02:01):
is already there. So I want to walk us through,
of course, with the power of God and only spirit,
walk through the Book of Romans so that we can
really and truly learn how to live a victorious Christian life. Amen.
(02:22):
To make sure you grab your bibles, you know, pads
and highlighters and follow along with me. And of course
let's start this off with prayer. Heavenly Father, we come
before you because our lives are submitted to you. We
ask a God that you will feed the spirit man,
(02:44):
that you will give us revelation understanding, Lead us in
this study, Lead us in this book. Your word says
that my people of Paris, who lack of knowledge, Father God,
help us God get that we will dig and get
the knowledge we need so that we shall not perish.
Because we believe that the ingrafted word is able to
(03:07):
save our souls. So help us to graft it, help
us to live it and to apply it. Bless everyone
who listens, Father in Jesus' name. Amen and Amen. All right,

(04:35):
All right, well, let's jump into it. This is the
Book of Romans. In a little background, the Apostle Paul
did write this book. The Apostle Paul desired to go
to Rome. Rome was basically the capital of the ancient
(04:58):
world in that day. If Paul always felt like, man,
if we can't have revival in Rome, we could win
the entire world. So it was always on his desire
to go to Room at this moment when he wrote
this book and has not been to Rome as of yet. Now,
(05:22):
this book teaches us not to be ashamed of the Gospel.
The Apostle was not ashamed of the Gospel because it
was the power of God to save the souls of men,
and also it reveals the wrath of God. This is
(05:42):
the sight of God that a lot of people love
to avoid. People don't know God in this light. People
make up a God in their own hearts, in their
own minds. God is okay with the my sin. God
will never sin any more too hell, which he doesn't.
People choose to go there on their own. And so
(06:07):
we're going to dive into the revelation, the instruction on
how God wants to reveal himself. And the only way
we could get a true picture of God is by
reading his word. Amen, we won't make this up on
our own. We can't imagine our own God. That's called
an idol. So Romans one one, Verse one. Paul, a
(06:39):
bond servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle
separated to the Gospel of God, which he promised before
through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures concerning his son, Jesus,
our Lord who has born, who was born of the
(07:02):
seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to
be the son of God with power according to the
spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Through him,
we have received great Through him, we have received grace.
(07:25):
We have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the
faith among all nations in His name. And see, we
have to be obedient to the faith. Faith without works
is dead. There is an obedience that is required to
(07:46):
have true faith. From verse six, among whom you also
are called of Jesus Christ, to all who are in Rome,
I loved of God called to be saints. Grace to
you in peace, God, our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
(08:10):
And of course I'm coming to you from the New
King James version. So let's break down verse one through seven.
Verse one through seven. And of course, like I always say,
(08:32):
my favorite Bible teacher is Pastor Chuck Smith from Cavie
Chapel close to Mesa, the founder. I love the Caviri
Chapel movement, and I use a lot of his commentary
as well as I give my own comments as the
(08:57):
spirit will lead. Amen. Okay. So Paul opens this letter
(09:17):
declaring the power of the Gospel not as a philosophy
or religion, but as the very power of God to
transform lives. Then he shifts from the Gospel's power to
the deep need for it. Now he outlines a world
(09:42):
that has rejected truth, treated God's glory for idols and
spirals into sin. So let's good and break it down. Now.
Paul talks about his authority in the calling of God
on his life. You know, we cannot do anything unless
(10:06):
we're called to do it. Yes, God will give us
the grace to do what we've been called to do. Amen.
So he introduced himself as a servant and apostle. This
reminds us we don't preach ourselves to preach Christ Jesus.
(10:35):
We are a servant before we get the title. A
lot of people want to get the title without being
the servant, which is backwards. He is a bond servant,
(10:58):
So that's good to remember. We're bought with the prist.
We are not our own. We are just a nonprofitable servants.
Scriptures say. And if we realize that we offer up
our lives humbly before God, I believe that it'll keep
(11:19):
us on our knees and keep us humble. Let's go
to verse eight. First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ,
for you all that your faith is spoken of throughout
the whole world. Now, that is amazing. They impacted the
(11:44):
whole world. The whole world is speaking of room becoming Christians.
It's a whole world speaking of you. It's a whole
world speaking of us. Our faith for God is my witness,
whom I serve with my spirit in the Gospel of
(12:07):
His Son that without sea sing, I make mention of
you always in my prayers. Now this is an amazing statement.
Without sea sing, he prays for them. Can we say
that ourselves? Can we say that as soon as we
(12:27):
heard the faith of such and such and so and so,
without ceasing, we've made mention of them in our prayers.
In verse ten, it tells us what he was praying for.
It says, making request if by some means, now at last,
(12:51):
I may find a way and the will of God
to come to you. Now, see he's speaking as a servant.
He's not speaking of himself. He's first addressing the will
of God. How many of us are so independent in
(13:14):
our walk with God to where we don't even ask
for his will? How many of us would think that
this is a good thing? Like why not? Why should
this be a prayer request? If people in Rome are
getting saved, and you are Paul the Apostle, and you
establish churches and you edify and you disciple, this is
(13:38):
what you do, why would you need to pray first?
And ask God's will if you could go to Rome
and encourage these people, because we have to live a
life of submission and realize that we are the servants.
He is the master. This is a part of our
(14:00):
relationship with him. And this is something that I'm working
on myself. My wife and I just had a discussion
about this, about surrendering and having a posture of submission,
because that rebellion, Man, every rebellion is a cruel task master,
(14:21):
and we could be more effective when we know that
we're doing the will of the Father. Amen, alright. Verse eleven.
For I long to see you that I may impart
to you some spiritual gift so that you may be established. See,
(14:41):
we got to be established. This is discipleship. This is
an accountability partner. Amen. The Apostle Paul, one of my
heroes in the Gospel, is saying that even though your
faith is being spoken of throughout the world, is still
needs to be established. Establish your faith, brothers and sisters.
(15:07):
Verse twelve. That is that I may be encouraged together
with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
So it's very encouraging. And I always tell Zone three man,
it's very encouraging to see you in the life chat,
(15:27):
so that we can encourage our faith iron sharpening iron.
That's why we need to go to church. That's why
we need not to for sake the assembly, so that
we can get that encouragement Verse thirteen. Now, I do
(15:50):
not want you to be unaware, brotherre and that I
often plan to come to you, but was hindered until now.
So he always desired to go to Rome, as I
said earlier, He even had plans to do, but there
was a hindrance. It wasn't God's will. God didn't say no,
(16:11):
He just said not right now. Who knows? You know,
God is sovereign, He is the master. We are the servants.
There was a reason, maybe there was some training, Maybe
there's stuff in the background had to be done. Maybe
he had to prepare the hearts of the people. But
for some reason there was a delay. And it says
(16:36):
that I might have some fruit among you also, just
as among the other gentiles. Now Paul himself was seeking fruit.
The Bible always tells us that we could tell the
genuineness of someone's faith by their fruit, by their lifestyle,
(17:00):
and their lifestyle should be a lifestyle of love, that's
where God is bringing us to. That's what Jesus is
teaching us. If we don't gossip, if we're not jealous
or for not bitter or unforgiving, we're walking in love.
And God won't accept nothing less than that. Just as
(17:24):
among the gentiles Verse fourteen. I am a debtor, both
to the Greek and to the Barbarians, both to the
wise and the unwise. So as much as is in me,
I am ready to preach the Gospel to you who
are in Rome. Amen. Now, like I said, Paul longs
(17:59):
to visit room to strengthen the believers. Now, let's ask
who are we called to encourage this week? Who are
we called to encourage today? Verse sixteen. For I am
(18:24):
not ashamed of the Gospel. And this reminds me of
this is where the crede gets the one one six
from of being not ashamed of the Gospel. So for
I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, where
(18:46):
it is the power of God to salvation for everyone
who believes, for the jew first and also for the Greek.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from
faith to faith. As it is written it just shall
(19:07):
live by faith Now, the Greek word dunamis means explosive,
miraculous power. This gospel can break chains, restore families, and
save souls. Amen. He is not ashamed of the power.
(19:32):
That word power in the Greek is dudamus. It's an
explosive power. That's where we get our word dynamite from.
Now this is how powerful the Gospel is and how
many can say at this moment we need some of
this gospel power to explode the darkness that is coming
(19:55):
upon the land beloved. We are powerful. We can stand
against the darkness. We can stand against the anti christ
be system. We could blow it up with some dynamite
if we only preach the Gospel of Christ. Amen. Now
(20:18):
let's dig into this. We can't look lightly, we can't
be naive, we cannot be unaware. Whenever the Bible gives
us warning about judgment and we see a different view
of God. That's why I go verse by verse, book
by book, because we need the whole council of the word. Amen.
(20:49):
Now let's start in verse eighteen. For the grath of
God is revealed from Heaven against all godliness and unrighteousness. Now,
on godliness is when we do wrong by God, and
we don't have a relationship with them. And unrighteousness is
(21:13):
when we do wrong towards our brothers and sisters, to
our parents, our family members, to each other. It's unrighteousness
and God playing with this right. The wrath of this
is the reason why the wrath of God is coming,
because of ungoidliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the
(21:36):
truth in unrighteousness. They know the truth, they have revelation,
but they choose to suppress it anyway. They choose to
ignore it Verse nineteen. Because what may be known of
God is manifest in them, for God has shown it
(21:59):
to them, so they know the truth. They know right,
No one is going to have an excuse for since
the creation of the world. His invisible attributes are clearly seen.
Since the creation. Just by looking at the moon, the stars,
(22:21):
the sun, this planet, we can see the invisible attributes
of God. We can see who he is, We can
see his character. Now let's hold look for a second.
Let's do a quick word study. I want to look
(22:43):
up that word attributes as regard something as being caused
(23:03):
by someone or something is the definition is caused by
someone or something. This is the dictionary Oxford Language Dictionary
that I'm looking at right here. Attribute now poor attributes
(23:32):
a quality or feature regarded as a characteristic or an
inherent part of someone or something. So it's like in
characteristic we can see the characteristics of God. We can
see that creation is a part of God, is caused
(23:55):
by God. So what we need to learn by God
is He's seen by the things that has been created.
Now let's go back being understood by the things that
are made. Even his eternal power in God had there's
(24:19):
a lot we can understand just by creation, so that
they are without excuse. On the day of judgment. No
one can use the excuse, Oh God, I did not know.
So what we need to know can be seen by
(24:40):
his attributes since the creation of the world. Now his
judgments are always just and righteous and fear. People might
always ask, well, what about the person who lives in
ten bucks two has never heard the gospel? Well, creation
(25:04):
itself reveals the attributes of God. He can't use that
excuse on the day of judgment Verse twenty one, because
although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God.
Now here's a rejection. Mankind has rejected God. Now look
(25:26):
at what happens next. It's a downward spiral. Nor word thankful,
but became futile in their thoughts. Love it. You don't
want to become futile in your thoughts. We need to
always pray that God will give us a sharp mind,
(25:48):
a sound mind, because that's where the battle is. That's
where the enemy. He knows that if he can get
your thoughts, he can pull you away from God. Heymen,
and their foolish hearts were darkened. Now that's where Satan
blinds us. When we're living a life of sin. He
(26:11):
has the ability to darken and blindness to the judgment
to come Verse twenty two. Professing to be wise, they
became fools. Now that's academia. Look at how many professors,
how many so called educated people mock the gospel and
(26:32):
those who believe it and change the glory of the
incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man and
birds and four footed animals and creeping things. That's why
we cannot worship an idle. You know, in the ancient
(26:54):
times they had a statue and they worshiped that statue
of physical idol they worshiped, and idols can be in
your heart. You don't need a statue. Who do you
go to when you're in trouble is a tell tale
sign of who you worship. Do you drink? Do you
do drugs? Do you eat? Do you overeat? A right?
(27:17):
Where do you go to? What do you What are
you passionate about when you wake up? What do you
think about when you go to sleep? What is the
first thing you think about when you wake up? What
is consuming you? If it's not God, it's an idol?
(27:39):
Verse twenty four. Therefore God has given them up, and
we don't want to do We don't want this to happen, Beloved,
We don't want this mode. We don't want our own desires.
God will let you have it, though if you persist.
(28:00):
He doesn't do it out of cruelty or meanness, but
because people choose this. Therefore God also gave them up
to unclean us and the less of their hearts to
dishonor their bodies among themselves who exchange the truth of
God for a lie. This is what happens when we
(28:23):
reject God. God gives us up. We don't want to
be given up to our own lustful desires in our hearts.
The truth of God for a lie and worship and
serve the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
(28:48):
This reason, God gave them up to vile passions for
even their women exchange the natural use for what is
against nature. Now, this is the homosexual community. This spells
it out, plain and clear God's view. Now I want
(29:13):
to say this, we love all people. Maybe the church
has not done a good job and loving that group right,
because God loves the sinner, he hates the sin. But
(29:33):
we also have to stand in truth. Let them know
that they're headed to judgment. Even if you weren't homosexual,
we're headed to judgment. You can be heterosexual. We're all sinners.
This is what the gospel said, we all need to
be saved. But it talks about the women, they exchanging
(29:56):
natural use for what is against nature. Why it's also
the men leaving the natural use of the women burn
in their lust for one another. Men with men committing
what is shameful. You can't get any clearer than that.
All we need to do is take time out and
(30:17):
just read the word and receiving in themselves the penalty
of their error which was due. Now we all know
someone who could possibly be stuck in his lifestyle, and
we reach to them. We reach to try to reach
(30:40):
them because this is what the word of God says. Now,
I've heard people say I was born like this. Some
people say, I cannot imagine myself not being gay. I've
been this way in my whole life. That's just because
that you have been practicing this sin in long time time.
Your mind needs to be renewed. It doesn't matter what
(31:04):
you imagine or what you think. What matters is God's
word and his judgment, and you can come out of
that lifestyle of this is something that you're dealing with.
You need to come out of this lifestyle. We need
to not give in to your own vile passions less
than desires. We got desires to do all kinds of things.
(31:28):
We want to steal, a lie, cheat, murder, or we
don't act upon those desires. That's the same thing with
this in the homosexual community, and it says it says
(31:48):
in verse twenty seven, and receiving in themselves the penalty
of their error which was due. This could be a
this could be a lot of age is rampant in
the almost sexual community. There's a lot of diseases. There's
a lot of things that come this lifestyle. And we
(32:11):
love you and we don't want you to go through this.
We want you to get saved. We are releasing dunamous power, dynamite. Amen.
And even as they did not like to retain God
in their knowledge. Then we go again. But my people
(32:31):
paris to lack of knowledge. We gotta protect our mind.
We gotta be in the word, allow the Word to
renew our minds. But we can forget about God, or
we can leave God out of our knowledge. God gave
them over to a debased mind to do those things
(32:55):
which are not fitting, where God will give a whole
society over to a debased mind because they lack the
knowledge of God. Twenty nine being filled with all unrighteousness,
(33:16):
sexual immorality. Now here's a list of those who are
not gonna make it into the kingdom. It says sexual immorality, wickedness, coveteousness, maliciousness,
full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil mind, didness, excuse me,
(33:43):
evil mindedness. They are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent,
proud boasters, inventors of evil things. How many kinds are
out there, disobedient to parents. That's definitely speaking of this generation. Undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful, who,
(34:19):
knowing the righteous judgments of God that those who practice
such things are deserving of death, not only do the same,
but also approve of those who practice them. So it's
not that they do the same thing, but they also
(34:43):
approve of those who practice them. Now, God's wrath is revealed.
God's anger is not petty, it's his righteous response to rebellion. Now,
this describes a descent into depravity when you reject the
(35:05):
truth you worship a creature over creation, sexual sin, and
this honorable passions a list of twenty one sins that
flow from a heart that rejects God. Now warning, this
(35:27):
isn't just about those people out there. This chapter is
a mirror also. It shows us what we become without
the Gospel. Let me say that again. This shows us
who we are and what we become once we reject
(35:52):
the Gospel. Now here's your assignment for today. Go over
that list I just read and see if you can
identify yourself in there. And if you can, and if
you do, repent, don't wait until later. Don't wait for
later tonight, repent right now and ask God to forgive
(36:16):
you for sake that sin and come back to God.
People don't know when they reject the Gospel of Christ,
this is their only option. They're gonna find themselves on
this list because your heart is not protected, our minds
(36:37):
are not protected. We don't guard ourselves with God's words,
so we allow anything to come in. I can think
of I know backbiters and gossipers. I know them right
now as I'm teaching. I know people who live this
lifestyle man, and it comes with the warning that even
if you approve of it, it's not good.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
Now.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
The Gospel can rescue anyone, no matter how far you
may have fallen in the midst of judgment. The good
news is that we can still be saved. Amen, we
(37:28):
can still be redeemed. Now we know what we're here
being redeemed from. So I encourage you to highly encourage
you to go back to verse twenty nine and read
that list. I'm repeating from all of it. You know
(37:50):
what I'm saying. I ain't taking any chances. I'm not
leaving this a chance at all. All right, that let's
go to some music. This is Alex Alex Jean. I
need faith. We're here live on his high radio show,
(38:17):
You Receive You. I was stuck in my mind. I
couldn't get out. I felt like a president five.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
What was doing my time? I need your words so
I could break out of mind. Why would I believe
I needed the truth? I'm sticking in your mind. Let
me go down to the groupe. I'm done being quiet.
I'm speaking in my mind. We're gonna do this all
the time. We're gonna do this all the time.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
I need that base. I need that grace, and I
need to say.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
I needed love. I need your word, and I need
that faith. By what I move, you live that proof,
you carry your league. We're gonna do this all the time.
We're gonna do this all the time. Father, our father
(39:18):
to car it was never another look at me cut
someone who trusts too much of me that I couldn't
come front. I need someone that I love about you.
I needed love. He was there all the time. I
need that trust, and you gave me your mind. Show
me the truth, he said, see you can, You're fine.
(39:40):
We're gonna do this all the time. We're gonna do
this all the time. I need that base. I need
that grace, and I need to say I needed love.
I need your way, and I need their faith. But
what I move you live in poof You carry what
I mean. We're gonna do this all the time.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
We're gonna do this all the time, only y but
(40:31):
love it. We are back. That's Alex Gene with Faith.
Very appropriate song for right now, since we see the
results of not having faith, the downward spiral of the
human heart, the human condition outside of the Gospel of Christ,
that nothing Else's chapter should show us how much we
(40:53):
need Jesus and how powerful the Gospel truly is dynamite.
How are yo and man? Amen? Well, now it's time
for our accountability partner segments Accountability check in. You can
check in on his Hot radio app, his hop his
(41:14):
Hot Radio and all platforms. Go to the top left menu,
go to podcasts and go to yours chewing that his
Hot radio podcast, and build out that check in form.
It's a great list. It's a great light way to
see how are you doing? What are you battling? Are
you trying to get over an addiction? Are you trying
(41:37):
to get closer to God? It's called discipleship. You need
to be a community that will sharpen each other, help
each other on this narrow path. Amen, check in and
if you have an accountability partner, call them up or
text them and hit them up with some questions. Say
(41:59):
how as you walk with christ been this week? All right?
Ask him that? Ask him are you growing? Are you slipping?
Or are you somewhere in the middle? And now the
way there's work the accountability. The accountability partner has to
(42:21):
be honest. Right, you've submitted to this process. You've allowed
this person to be able to speak into your life.
So you got to tell him what's going on. You've
got to be open. And you know we're there to
help each other, right, We're there to love on each other.
So ask him, you know, have I been slipping in
(42:42):
my walking? You know where you at? Hey man, we
know where we're at now. The challenge is to read
for the accountability partner. Read Roman's One in its entirety
before tonight for the of the night, Pray for boldness
(43:02):
to live and speak the truth without shame, and ass
your accountability partner or someone in your life, how can
I pray for you today? Ask someone say hey, I
want to pray for you. I want to know what
can I do? How can I bless you today? And
(43:25):
like I said, hit me up in the app in
the form us keep each other accountable that you're someh news.
If you have a song, a project you want to
get some exposure, or if you just want to chart,
(43:48):
you're ready for that next level. Go to hisshopanation dot com.
Go to the submissions tab, fill out all the information,
your codes and all that, and we can get you
in rowation. And please grab one of the advertisement packages.
That helps our ministry, bringing funds, bringing an income, and
(44:11):
it helps us to continue to do what we do.
And we are charting in a monitor radio station so
we can get your song up there. Amen and amen.
All right, now it's time for the trivia question of
