we dive into John chapter six. Heavenly Father, I thank you,

Lord for another whole year that you've allowed me, Lord,
to travel around, then to be alive, to be on
this earth. Oh Lord, I surrendered my life to you
yet again, for your use and for your glory. If
you choose to give me another year, Lord, let it
be a year of production. Let it be a year

of increase. Let it be a year of building your kingdom.
O God. Let it be a year that you will
be glorified. Let it be a year that I will
fall more in love with you. Let it be a
year while grow more discipline than my prayer life, and
draw deeper into fellowship and dig deeper into your word.

We thank you, Father, God in the mighty name of Jesus.
And God's people said, hey, man, all right, y'all. Well,
thank you for taking his journey with me through the
Word of God on my birthday. Thank you for signing

So Chapter six of the Gospel of John one of
the most powerful chapters in the Gospel of John. It
begins with the feeding of the five thousand and moves
into Jesus teaching about the Bread of life, rich in
(05:27):
both revelations soul. Let's dive into it. Let's see how
we can apply it practically to our faith. Amen. So
this podcast is entitled The Bread that Satisfies the Soul,
(05:51):
The Bread that satisfies the Soul. Amen. Gab your bibles,
you know, pads and your highlighters, and let's get into it.
So we're gonna tackle John chapter six in the New
(06:14):
King James, and we're gonna go. Let me see, We're
gonna go through verse one through verse four, Verse one
through verse four, So follow along with me. And it
(06:34):
says after those things, Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee,
which is the Sea of Tiberius. Then a great multitude
follow him because they saw his signs which he performed
on those who were diseased Amen. They saw the power
(06:58):
that came from his life. So the crowds were drawn
to Jesus. Amen. And Jesus went up on a mountain,
and there he sat with his disciples verse four. Now
the passover a feast of the Jews was near. All right,
(07:20):
we're gonna stop it there. We're gonna break this down
a little bit. Now in the life of Christ, we
noticed that this miracle is significant. Now, after these scenes,
(07:46):
Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the
Sea of Tiberius. Then a great multitude follow him because
they saw the signs which he performed on those who
were diseased. And Jesus went up to the mountain and
sat with his disciples. And now the passover feasts of
the Jews was near. Okay. So the miracle is significant
(08:09):
because it happens right before the passover, Okay, a time
when Israel remembered God's deliverance in God's provision. Now it
sets the stage for Jesus to reveal himself as the
true Bread of Heaven, connecting back to the Manna in
(08:33):
the wilderness. Now, I just want to take notes how
he reveals himself to Israel as the true Bread of heaven.
And if you remember with me, in the last chapter,
he revealed himself to the Samaritan woman as the water
(08:55):
of life, the water to where you will never again. Amen.
Jesus is the answer to every human need that we have.
Every problem, every dilemma, every thirst, every hunger, it points
back to Jesus. Now notice this. The crowd followed Jesus
(09:19):
not for who he was, but for what he did.
Now that's a word for us. It's easy to chase blessings,
but Jesus wants relationship, and every relationship is forged out
(09:42):
of a discipline, prayer, life. Before the miracles even happened,
Jesus withdrew with his disciples intimacy before impact. So take notice,
he would always withdraw, he would always come to a
place of intimacy before we saw the impact, the miracles
(10:11):
and the fruit that came from his life. Amen. All right,
let's go through five and nine. The Jesus lifted up
his eyes, and, seeing a great multitude coming towards him,
he said to Philip, where shall we buy bread that
(10:33):
these may eat? But he said he said it to
test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
The Philip answered him, two hundred dinari worth of bread
is not sufficient for them. They that every man of
(10:58):
them may have a little. One of the disciples, Andrew Simon,
Peter's brother, said to him, there is a lad here
who has five barley lows and two small fish. But
what are they among so many? Hey, man, this is awesome.

This is one of my favorite passages of Scripture. It
just shows the powerful miracle working God that we love
and we serve. Amen. Now, Jesus was teaching his disciples dependents.
(11:46):
Let me say that again. Jesus was teaching his disciples
and teaching us dependence, how to depend on him. But
he already knew the miracle he was about to perform.
The question was not about supply, but about trust. Amen.
(12:09):
Some of you are in a test right now, and
you're wondering, Lord, how am I gonna make it? But
Jesus already knows what he's going to do. Amen. That
should be comforting to everyone. Under the side of my voice,
Jesus already knows what he's gonna do. Your miracle is
(12:31):
in motion even when you don't even see it. One
of my favorite songs is God is working right, He's
even when we don't see it. He's working. That song
(12:52):
actually got me through COVID. I was quarantined to my
house for about three months, and I would blast this
song and we would have prayer meetings in the house
and things like that. And this speaks actually to my
own heart, because I had to come to a new
(13:14):
place of surrender, a new place of trust, look like
you lost another one. A new place where I can
love and submit and follow our Lord. Amen. Chapter ten,
(13:39):
I mean verse ten, that chapter verse ten through thirteen
that Jesus said, make the people sit down. Now there
was much grass in this place. So the men sat
down in the number about five thousand, and Jesus took
the lows, and when he had given thanks, he distributed
(14:03):
them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down,
and likewise of the fish as much as they wanted.
So when they were filled, he said to his disciples,
gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.
(14:25):
Therefore they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with
the fragments of the five barley lows, which were left
over by those who had eaten. Then those men, when
they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, this
(14:45):
is truly the prophet who is to come into the world.
Ay Man, hallelujah, Jesus said, and make the people sit down.
And Jesus took the lows, and when he had given thanks,
(15:06):
he distributed them as much as they wanted. Now, Jesus
is always giving thanks before his miracles. Gratitude activates our faith.
(15:28):
And when the disciples obeyed his simple instruction make the
people sit down, the multiplication came amen, order before overflow.
God can't multiply what's in chaos. Remember that sometimes he
(15:53):
just needs you to get in position, sit down, and
watch his work. The enemy wants us to worry, to
be in chaos, to fear, always trying to figure it out.
And sometimes we just have to take our thoughts captive.
(16:14):
We have to sit down, and we have to allow
the Lord to do the work all right, Verse fourteen
through twenty one. And those men, and they had seen
(16:36):
the sign that Jesus did, said, this is truly the
prophet who is to come into the world. Therefore, when
Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take
him by force to make him king, he departed again
to the mountain by himself alone. Hallelujah. Now, it's amazing
(17:02):
how he was able to do this. And it says
that he was alone. It doesn't even say his twelve
disciples were with him. So crowd that big, he was
able to slip through and they couldn't find him. And
some of us might ask, like, was it just the
purpose of him coming to become king? Yes, he is
(17:28):
king of kings, he is the Lord of lords, and
he will one day rule. But this was not God's timing.
This was man's doing. Be careful for allowing man to
work in your life, because what man gives man can
take away a man. Now, when the evening came, his
(17:52):
disciples went down to the sea, got into the boat,
and went over the sea towards Capernaum. And it was
already dark, and Jesus had not come to them. Then
the sea arose because of the great wind was blowing.
So when they had rowed about three and four miles,
(18:16):
they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near
to the boat, and they were afraid, but he said
to them, it is I, do not be afraid. And
they willingly received him into the boat, and immediately the
boat was at the land where they were going. Wow,
(18:40):
this is amazing. Now, the other Gobel gospels, Gobbles, the
other gospels go more in depth on this miracle that
Jesus just performed. But let's break it down right now
(19:01):
and look at it from the perspective of John. Here. Now,
the people wanted to crown Jesus as king, but like
I said, it was not God's timing, and for them
it was for the wrong reason. They wanted a political savior,
(19:21):
not a spiritual one. Now, later that night, when the
disciples faced the storm, Jesus revealed his divine nature again
by walking on the water. Now, here's what the Lord
showed me. Some of us just want Jesus to fix
(19:45):
the outside storm, but He's more interested in cleaning the
storm inside you. He wants to calm the storm that's
in your heart and in your mind. His words, it
is I do not be afraid, still, echoes today. When
(20:10):
you truly hear his voice, peace returns to your soul. Amen,
when you truly hear his voice, peace returns to your soul.
How many of us need to hear that word right now?
(20:32):
You need to hear the voice of the Lord say
to you, it is I do not be afraid. Well,
Jesus is saying that to you right now, anyone under
the sound of my voice, it is I do not
be afraid. You might be fearful of the future. We
(20:54):
are living in some trying times right now. Our brothers
and sisters are being assassinated and persecuted, losing their lives
for the Gospel's sake, becoming martyrs. People are losing their jobs.
(21:21):
Families are breaking up, husband and wives can't get along.
But when we recognize the presence of the Lord, it
is I do not be afraid. Then we know that
we can make it. We can get through. It gives
(21:44):
us hope, it gives us peace, it gives us joy. Amen.

So Chapter six of the Gospel of John one of
the most powerful chapters in the Gospel of John. It
begins with the feeding of the five thousand and moves
into Jesus teaching about the Bread of life, rich in
(05:27):
both revelations soul. Let's dive into it. Let's see how
we can apply it practically to our faith. Amen. So
this podcast is entitled The Bread that Satisfies the Soul,
(05:51):
The Bread that satisfies the Soul. Amen. Gab your bibles,
you know, pads and your highlighters, and let's get into it.
So we're gonna tackle John chapter six in the New
(06:14):
King James, and we're gonna go. Let me see, We're
gonna go through verse one through verse four, Verse one
through verse four, So follow along with me. And it
(06:34):
says after those things, Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee,
which is the Sea of Tiberius. Then a great multitude
follow him because they saw his signs which he performed
on those who were diseased Amen. They saw the power
(06:58):
that came from his life. So the crowds were drawn
to Jesus. Amen. And Jesus went up on a mountain,
and there he sat with his disciples verse four. Now
the passover a feast of the Jews was near. All right,
(07:20):
we're gonna stop it there. We're gonna break this down
a little bit. Now in the life of Christ, we
noticed that this miracle is significant. Now, after these scenes,
(07:46):
Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the
Sea of Tiberius. Then a great multitude follow him because
they saw the signs which he performed on those who
were diseased. And Jesus went up to the mountain and
sat with his disciples. And now the passover feasts of
the Jews was near. Okay. So the miracle is significant
(08:09):
because it happens right before the passover, Okay, a time
when Israel remembered God's deliverance in God's provision. Now it
sets the stage for Jesus to reveal himself as the
true Bread of Heaven, connecting back to the Manna in
(08:33):
the wilderness. Now, I just want to take notes how
he reveals himself to Israel as the true Bread of heaven.
And if you remember with me, in the last chapter,
he revealed himself to the Samaritan woman as the water
(08:55):
of life, the water to where you will never again. Amen.
Jesus is the answer to every human need that we have.
Every problem, every dilemma, every thirst, every hunger, it points
back to Jesus. Now notice this. The crowd followed Jesus
(09:19):
not for who he was, but for what he did.
Now that's a word for us. It's easy to chase blessings,
but Jesus wants relationship, and every relationship is forged out
(09:42):
of a discipline, prayer, life. Before the miracles even happened,
Jesus withdrew with his disciples intimacy before impact. So take notice,
he would always withdraw, he would always come to a
place of intimacy before we saw the impact, the miracles
(10:11):
and the fruit that came from his life. Amen. All right,
let's go through five and nine. The Jesus lifted up
his eyes, and, seeing a great multitude coming towards him,
he said to Philip, where shall we buy bread that
(10:33):
these may eat? But he said he said it to
test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
The Philip answered him, two hundred dinari worth of bread
is not sufficient for them. They that every man of
(10:58):
them may have a little. One of the disciples, Andrew Simon,
Peter's brother, said to him, there is a lad here
who has five barley lows and two small fish. But
what are they among so many? Hey, man, this is awesome.
(11:24):
This is one of my favorite passages of Scripture. It
just shows the powerful miracle working God that we love
and we serve. Amen. Now, Jesus was teaching his disciples dependents.
(11:46):
Let me say that again. Jesus was teaching his disciples
and teaching us dependence, how to depend on him. But
he already knew the miracle he was about to perform.
The question was not about supply, but about trust. Amen.
(12:09):
Some of you are in a test right now, and
you're wondering, Lord, how am I gonna make it? But
Jesus already knows what he's going to do. Amen. That
should be comforting to everyone. Under the side of my voice,
Jesus already knows what he's gonna do. Your miracle is
(12:31):
in motion even when you don't even see it. One
of my favorite songs is God is working right, He's
even when we don't see it. He's working. That song
(12:52):
actually got me through COVID. I was quarantined to my
house for about three months, and I would blast this
song and we would have prayer meetings in the house
and things like that. And this speaks actually to my
own heart, because I had to come to a new
(13:14):
place of surrender, a new place of trust, look like
you lost another one. A new place where I can
love and submit and follow our Lord. Amen. Chapter ten,
(13:39):
I mean verse ten, that chapter verse ten through thirteen
that Jesus said, make the people sit down. Now there
was much grass in this place. So the men sat
down in the number about five thousand, and Jesus took
the lows, and when he had given thanks, he distributed
(14:03):
them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down,
and likewise of the fish as much as they wanted.
So when they were filled, he said to his disciples,
gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.
(14:25):
Therefore they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with
the fragments of the five barley lows, which were left
over by those who had eaten. Then those men, when
they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, this
(14:45):
is truly the prophet who is to come into the world.
Ay Man, hallelujah, Jesus said, and make the people sit down.
And Jesus took the lows, and when he had given thanks,
(15:06):
he distributed them as much as they wanted. Now, Jesus
is always giving thanks before his miracles. Gratitude activates our faith.
(15:28):
And when the disciples obeyed his simple instruction make the
people sit down, the multiplication came amen, order before overflow.
God can't multiply what's in chaos. Remember that sometimes he
(15:53):
just needs you to get in position, sit down, and
watch his work. The enemy wants us to worry, to
be in chaos, to fear, always trying to figure it out.
And sometimes we just have to take our thoughts captive.
(16:14):
We have to sit down, and we have to allow
the Lord to do the work all right, Verse fourteen
through twenty one. And those men, and they had seen
(16:36):
the sign that Jesus did, said, this is truly the
prophet who is to come into the world. Therefore, when
Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take
him by force to make him king, he departed again
to the mountain by himself alone. Hallelujah. Now, it's amazing
(17:02):
how he was able to do this. And it says
that he was alone. It doesn't even say his twelve
disciples were with him. So crowd that big, he was
able to slip through and they couldn't find him. And
some of us might ask, like, was it just the
purpose of him coming to become king? Yes, he is
(17:28):
king of kings, he is the Lord of lords, and
he will one day rule. But this was not God's timing.
This was man's doing. Be careful for allowing man to
work in your life, because what man gives man can
take away a man. Now, when the evening came, his
(17:52):
disciples went down to the sea, got into the boat,
and went over the sea towards Capernaum. And it was
already dark, and Jesus had not come to them. Then
the sea arose because of the great wind was blowing.
So when they had rowed about three and four miles,
(18:16):
they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near
to the boat, and they were afraid, but he said
to them, it is I, do not be afraid. And
they willingly received him into the boat, and immediately the
boat was at the land where they were going. Wow,
(18:40):
this is amazing. Now, the other Gobel gospels, Gobbles, the
other gospels go more in depth on this miracle that
Jesus just performed. But let's break it down right now
(19:01):
and look at it from the perspective of John. Here. Now,
the people wanted to crown Jesus as king, but like
I said, it was not God's timing, and for them
it was for the wrong reason. They wanted a political savior,
(19:21):
not a spiritual one. Now, later that night, when the
disciples faced the storm, Jesus revealed his divine nature again
by walking on the water. Now, here's what the Lord
showed me. Some of us just want Jesus to fix
(19:45):
the outside storm, but He's more interested in cleaning the
storm inside you. He wants to calm the storm that's
in your heart and in your mind. His words, it
is I do not be afraid, still, echoes today. When
(20:10):
you truly hear his voice, peace returns to your soul. Amen,
when you truly hear his voice, peace returns to your soul.
How many of us need to hear that word right now?
(20:32):
You need to hear the voice of the Lord say
to you, it is I do not be afraid. Well,
Jesus is saying that to you right now, anyone under
the sound of my voice, it is I do not
be afraid. You might be fearful of the future. We
(20:54):
are living in some trying times right now. Our brothers
and sisters are being assassinated and persecuted, losing their lives
for the Gospel's sake, becoming martyrs. People are losing their jobs.
(21:21):
Families are breaking up, husband and wives can't get along.
But when we recognize the presence of the Lord, it
is I do not be afraid. Then we know that
we can make it. We can get through. It gives
(21:44):
us hope, it gives us peace, it gives us joy. Amen.
