(03:30):
that being said, let's go before our heavenly Father in prayer.
Heavenly Father, we thank you, Father God that you've given
us this day. Father God, You've given us two instructions.
Old God, you said, this is the day that the
Lord has made to rejoice and to be glad in it. Father.
(03:52):
So we come before you rejoicing. Thank you, Lord God
for the sun, the moon, and the stars giving us
another day, Lord, sunlight, that we can get up and see.
We can go to work, We can walk and talk,
and we rejoice with our lips. What we sing, we
praise Father God. We asked it to a feed us
holy spirit the Word as we go through it today,
(04:15):
give us insight understanding. We ask for the ram a word,
Oh God, to come forth as we exalt the mighty
name of Jesus. And guys, people said, hey, man, all right,
let's do this all right, so we like to go
verse by verse. I am more of a teacher by nature,
(04:36):
and on our last episode, I had the opportunity to
actually teach at my home church, fresh Wind Community Church.
Hopefully had a chance to hear that. Take a listen
to it. It was a tough teaching. I will have
to say. To get in front of the church that
day and you can hear all of the It's a
Bible study, so people can ask their questions and our
(04:58):
pastor is there to give instruction and input as we
are going through the message. So it's entitled Teaching at
fresh Wing Community Church. It's in our archives if you
want to check it out if you have questions or input.
I'm kind of curious of what people thought about it, because, yeah,
(05:20):
you hear me teaching here on the podcast, but that
was actually a church setting and there are different responses
to it. So and I have to say that that
was pretty tough. That was a pretty tough teaching to
go through. But praise God, I believe that it will
sharpen me, that it will help me equip me to
(05:43):
be a better teacher, because this is my heart. I
believe people need an understanding. The Bible says, my people
perish through lack of knowledge. So I really want to
give the information and the knowledge that people will need
to make it through this spiritual journe We are on amen. Okay,
(06:05):
so let's get to it. The Book of Acts, chapter one, now,
chapter four, we saw the wonderful works of the Holy Spirit.
That Acts of the Apostles we just went through. Well,
I'm trying to I'm trying to get back in my
(06:27):
brain because I just taught Acts chapter seven at church.
And so now we're falling back, and this is where
the apostles were beaten, never persecuted, and they rejoiced, and
they went back to their own people and gave a
report of what happened, and they prayed for boldness, and
(06:48):
they prayed for power. And I've always said in my point,
I wasn't able to finish the teaching that fresh win.
But my point is that these men are very different
from what you see in the gospels. The four Gospels.
You see them as disciples. You see them trying to
figure things out, getting a little perplexed at some of
(07:10):
the teachings and sayings of Christ himself. But at is
arrest in his crucifixion, they scattered the apostle. Peter denied
him thrice. We saw them hiding behind doors, and very
fearful men, hiding from the Jews. But when the Holy
(07:33):
Spirit fell upon them, Peter stands up in front of
the whole nation, preaches the word boldly, and we saw
three thousand souls added to the kingdom. And now even
in the midst of persecution, the very men that they
hid from have arrested them and persecuted them, and they
are asking for more boldness. So that spirit how them
(08:00):
back then is available for us now. Amen. And so
that was my whole teaching in a nutshell at fresh Wind.
That was the point that I was trying to make.
So let's see it now, and then we're gonna turn
the corner here in chapter five, we're gonna look at
an Annias and Saphirah. So we really need to pay
(08:25):
attention to this. Amen. So verse one. But a certain
man named and Annias, with Sapphia his wife, sold a possession.
Right they sold it. Now we know the story. If
you have not heard or read this story, they were
(08:46):
killed in the presence of God for selling some stuff
and lying about it. So the issue wasn't that they
sold it. The issue was that they plan what they
planned to do with the truth about it. Now, the
early Church was a beautiful They were in a beautiful
(09:09):
season of unity, and they also were practicing generosity. And
Satan tried to corrupt the church from within. Now, remember,
the enemy will always tack from two places, either from without.
He'll try to persecute the church, and he knows that
that doesn't really work. The church usually gets stronger and grows.
(09:32):
And I believe personally that one of his most effective
tactics is when he joins the church, when he corrupts
it from within. This is the first attempt here in
chapter five. Now, the enemy couldn't stop the church from
the outside. He couldn't stop them in acts chapter four,
(09:54):
so he tried to infiltrate it from within. And that's
steal his strategy. Today he's tried to join the church's
He's a wolf, the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing. So
we definitely need our discernment. Amen, And it says, and
(10:15):
he kept back a part is a verse two. And
he kept back a part of the proceeds and brought
a certain part and related at the apostles feet. Now
he kept back. Now in the Greek, that word is
I'm not gonna try to pronounce it, but as n
(10:37):
os p h i z o m ai all right,
I am gonna try to pronounce it n pizimi ye.
I don't know y'all can wrestle with that post it
in her life check. But it means to embezzle, to steal,
(10:59):
or to you miss appropriate. Let me say that again.
The word kept back in the Greek means to embezzle,
to steal, or to miss appropriate. Now they didn't have
to give anything, which is crazy, right, they didn't have
(11:21):
to do that, but they pretended that they did. Now,
this is hypocrisy, wanting a reputation of holiness without the
lifestyle of holiness. Let me say that again. The definition
of hypocrisy is wanting a reputation of holiness but not
(11:48):
actually living the lifestyle. Now, Verse three says, but Peter said,
and a Naias, why has Satan lifted your heart? Excuse me?
Why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the
(12:08):
Holy Spirit a man? Now, the sin was not lying
to the apostle. It was lying to the Holy Spirit,
who is God. Now, you can fool people. You can
fool pastors, you can fool leaders, you can fool podcasters. Right,
(12:30):
you can fool even the people in your life. You're well,
it's hard sometimes, I mean you're usually your wife and
your children know who you really are. Right, they love you,
and sometimes they want to confront you and tell you
who you are. But you cannot fool the Holy Spirit.
(12:51):
It can't be done. You got to be careful, beloved
with just trying to build a rep trying to get
things an easy way. And I just want to say
this interject this, Satan always wants to give us the shortcut,
(13:12):
right he always. Even when Jesus was telling Peter that
he was going to the cross and Peter was saying no, no,
not so Jesus rebuked him and said, Satan, get behind me.
Satan doesn't want us to put in the work. That
(13:34):
was what the temptation was all about with Christ Jesus.
The temptation was I would give you all these things
if you bow down and worship me. I'll give you
to you easily. You don't have to go to the cross.
I'll give you all the kingdoms of the world. What
(13:57):
does that sound like today? It sounds like AI. Of
just watching a couple of podcasts about AI and basically
how easy it is now to create a hit song, right,
a hit single just by typing in the prompts. And
(14:19):
now here you are a star that is so satanic,
that has Satan all over it. You don't have to
go through the training, you don't have to go to
the cross to get it. The way of God is
always the way of the Cross. And they're suffering there
their self, denial, there. There's character building there. God wants
(14:44):
to train you. He will always break you before he
elevates you. Now you can skip that process and get
that hit single and make some money, and your character
is all jacked up, all right. Verse four, While it remained,
(15:10):
was it not your own? Why have you conceived this
thing in your heart? Now? Peter clarifies. The land belonged
to Anonius, the money belonged to Anonius. The lie came
(15:30):
from Satan himself. The sin was not holding back the money.
That sin was pretending to be surrendered to Christ. God
doesn't want your show. He wants your heart. Let me
say that again. God doesn't want you to act and
(15:52):
play the part. This is not a game to him.
He really wants your heart. We can truly give him
our hearts, and we're gonna do that before we close
out this podcast, Holy Spirit, remind me, let me not
go through this episode without going through the steps of
(16:13):
how we can truly give our whole hearts to Jesus. Amen.
Verse five. Annayas hearing these words, fell down and breathed
his last This was divine judgment, not an apostate curse.
(16:33):
God intervene to protect the purity of the early church.
God was showing the world, do not play church with me.
Hey man, let me say that again. God was showing
the entire world, do not play church with me. And
(17:02):
guess what, belove it. Holiness steel matters. I still pray
about my integrity. I pray about being righteous, dealing righteously
in business, being righteous in my dealings with my relationships,
doing the right thing, being godly, not just doing the
(17:25):
good thing. Yeah, it's a good thing to go out
into the community, to feed the homeless, to have a
clothing ministry, pass out clothes to people. It's a good
thing to go out and have events, even our event
coming up on the twentieth of December. But if I'm
(17:46):
just doing good things and I'm not doing godly things,
things led by the spirit, led by God, doing a
God told me to do, then I've completely missed it.
And that's gonna happen our prayer life, in our devotional
and truly living this thing and not playing church. Amen,
(18:07):
hey man, Thank God, there's help here on this podcast. Hallelujah.
Verse six, And the young men arose and wrapped him up,
carried him out, and buried him. Now, the judgment was immediate.
(18:29):
There was no chance for a public display or discussion.
It happened immediately. When God deals with hypocrisy, he deals
with it quickly and cleanly. It's quick, and so a
(18:50):
lot of us we think, Okay, I'm gonna play around
with sin. Well, let me say this. We know that
Jesus is soon to come. If you don't know that,
then your head has truly been in the sand. If
you read the Bible, you're familiar with Bible prophecy. We
are right here knocking at the door of the return
(19:12):
of Christ. Still yet, even people, even people in my family,
even my own children and family members, are still playing
with God. They're playing around with homosexuality. They're playing around
with lying and deceiving, They're playing around with immorality. It's
(19:34):
like they're just playing games with sin. And what they
don't realize, as we see in this chapter, is that
they are resisting the Holy Spirit. Yeah, we might be
your parents. I might be a podcaster speaking right here
over the airwaves. There might be a pastor or a
(19:56):
brother or sister that could read the scripture and share
the scripture with you and even pray for you. But
if you choose to rebellious and resist, and to be
stubborn and go your own way. You resist the Holy Spirit.
You're doing despite to the spirit of grace, and you're
(20:16):
trampling the blood of Christ underfoot as if it's a
common thing. If God did so much to pardon you,
so much so that he can forgive you so much
to where he paid the penalty for your sin, and
you just throw it away and slop them in the face,
what do you think is going to happen to you now?
(20:39):
The judgment is going to be swift and quick. You
will some people say, well, I'm a sin because God
is going to forgive me, and I'm gonna pray and
give forgiveness. What if in the midst of it you
die and go to hell. You don't have that chance
to pray. The judgment is to come swift and quickly.
(21:03):
And and Nase didn't have a chance that Oh I
was just playing, Oh wait, wait a minute, wait a minute,
let me go back and get the rest. He didn't
have that chance. He died right then and there, and beloved,
I'm not the judge, but it doesn't look good. I
believe my opinion, he could be in hell right now,
(21:26):
being tortured by a demon, being burnt up in a flame,
knowing he could never get out, He could be in
his eternal place of judgment. And who knows what was
his heart? What was his heart dealing with?
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Was it?
Speaker 3 (21:41):
Mammon? Coveteousness was agreed like? Who was his true God?
What did he truly love? If he wants to lie
to the Holy Spirit, the only way you would do
that is if you don't love god fully, you love
something else. You're willing to lie and obey your own desires,
(22:04):
and that's worship being another God. Let's get this right,
beloved amen, Okay Verse seven. Now it was about three
(22:24):
hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what happened.
God gave her a chance to tell the truth. Is
God's mercy right here? She walked into grace and didn't
even know it. She didn't know what happened, and Peter
(22:48):
questioned her in verse eight, answered her, tell me whether
you sold the land for so much? Peter was he was.
This was not a trap. He wasn't trying to set
her up. This was Peter giving her a chance to
(23:11):
repent of her aids with her husband. God always gives
you space. But if you double down on the lie,
judgment will follow. God would always give you that chance.
He'll give you the warning and belove it. I was
(23:31):
in the place in my life where God warned me,
and I took key to that. My testimony. I may
have to share it. I'm gonna have to take a
whole episode to share my testimony. Actually, I put in
for a podcast and they just might be interested in
me given send it in my story. This podcast has
(23:54):
millions of followers, so pray for me as I share
my testimony there. But God told me straight up, if
I continue to do what I was doing, I was
gonna die. I was gonna get taken off this earth.
He will go there. He went there with me, and
I took heed and with all that is in me,
(24:16):
I'm not going back to that my old life. Amen. First, now, now,
and how is it that you have agreed together to
test the Holy Spirit of the Lord. They didn't just lie.
They tested the Holy Spirit and they thought that He
(24:43):
would not notice. They thought they could just get away
with it. Now, some sins are not mistakes. Some sins
are agreements. And anayas he made a made a mistake.
It may have been an error, but she just agreed
(25:05):
with his foolishness. And now we know that in church,
our church, we honor marriage. We have a hat sid ministry.
Her couples come together and pouring too their marriage, and
it's a great thing, especially according to the Word of God.
It's an amazing thing to be married. Our pastor, they've
(25:30):
been married of forty years, I believe, to the same woman.
They raised their children together. They are living a blessed life.
But in this situation, marriage was deadly. She went along
with her husband and she paid the price for this. Sometimes,
(25:54):
even in our relationships, somebody's got to be like Jesus,
somebody's got to uphold the standard. You can't agree with
wickedness and foolishness and sin, even if it comes from
your spouse. We got to be able to correct and
rebuke if we truly love him, even our own children
(26:16):
and beloved. I have struggled over the years with confrontation.
I'll be honest. I have struggled to confront friends and
family members, people that I saw going down to hell
on a grease pole. And I've made the effort and
I'm getting better. I still deal with it sometimes, but
(26:40):
the Holy Spirit gives us power to overcome all weaknesses. Right,
we boast in our weaknesses so that God can get
the glory hallelujah. But in this case, she should have
rebuked them, she should have confronted him, she should have
asked for counsel or anything. But she we just went
(27:00):
along passively with this deception in verse ten. Then immediately
she fell down at his feet and breathed her last.
The same judgment that fell on Ananias fell on Saphirah.
(27:22):
And once again it came directly from the throne of God.
Their marriage was united in deception and it was united
in judgment. Be careful what you agree to. Be careful.
(27:45):
There's even ways people try to trick you to make agreements.
Your agreement is powerful, Beloved, Why do you think these
scam artists are out here trying to do trying to
get your agreement. If they can slick talk you and
talk you into this deal, talk you into giving over
(28:07):
your financial credentials, or given false prophets and false teachers,
even if you just sometimes if you're silent, it makes
it seems like it seem like it's agreement. That's why
we can't just go along to get along. That's why
we got to speak out on sinful practices and sinful lifestyles.
(28:30):
That's why the world hates us. We're called salts in light.
The light exposes darkness, is exposes the truth. And so
right now, in the name of Jesus, itque back any
agreement with Hell, any agreement with wickedness, any agreement with
(28:52):
the lie. I renounce it, and I apply the blood
of Jesus in any area. Cleanse my heart, my mind,
and my tongue, Oh Lord, from any deceptive agreement that
I made with the enemy. In Jesus' name, I renounce it. Amen, Hallelujah.
(29:14):
I pray that you guys will add this prayer to
your list. Amen, Verse eleven. So great fear came upon
all the Church and upon all who heard these things.
This is the first time in the New Testament the
(29:36):
word church appears in the Book of Acts. Now in
the Greek is the word is ecclesia, and the definition
is the called out ones, those who have been called
out from the world, those who have been called out
from the world system. Amen. Right here in the Book Acts,
(30:00):
the word appears, and it appears in the context of
the fear of the Lord, right, the fear of the Lord.
Revival requires honor, power requires purity. But real church begins
with the fear of the Lord. If you don't fear God,
(30:24):
then you're truly not a part of the Church. You're
not a part of the family of God. If you
have no fear of God in your life, chances are
you're not gonna make it into the Kingdom. You're gonna
split hell wide open. Because why would you turn from sin?
Why would you turn from the stuff that you love
(30:44):
to do? The Bible says sin is fun for a season,
and don't get your emotions and desires wrapped up in it.
Don't get wrapped up in a relationship that is sinful.
That you did not allow God to guide your heart
and text your heart, but you gave it over to
the enemy. And we know it's powerful when the desire
(31:05):
is there, It's like trying to hold back a freight train.
It is a powerful thing. But amen, there's help here
on the podcast. Let's go to a quick music break,
will be right back.
Speaker 5 (31:22):

Speaker 4 (32:02):

Speaker 6 (32:04):
Why you keep treating guy like he hate me? That

way you need a song line, God, I love.
Speaker 7 (32:10):
You so he said that sounds and his setting his love,
sitting his love.

that ever, maga's wrong because we love you just the
way you are.
Speaker 3 (32:53):

Speaker 8 (33:21):
You can lean on this, grab somebody so he let
you know you feel unworthy even though not worse that
when we need him the.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
Most, he never to tarry before that. He's on me
close and he never want that.
Speaker 8 (33:30):
Ain't know when this world hurt me, when I couldn't
understand what I was really going through. You to not
hurt me, I know, even holding on you know the
feeling your life is crazy.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
It ain't nobody Birken. We're trying to figure this out.
You ain't gotta be ay. Yeah, I been all lost this.
Speaker 8 (33:44):
If you're losing us, if you gonna finds in the

Speaker 3 (34:17):
I'm off for you.
Speaker 4 (34:18):
Yeah, yeah, I hate all here, but they leave me.
I think on the front.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
Just the hip of girl.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
I live on the ground, just loove too much. I'm
might be lost. I'm still shod, God, I'm still shot.
Speaker 5 (34:56):

(36:12):
the love. And right now our segment coming up is
the Accountability Partner. The Accountability Partner was birth out of
my heart to wanting to help our brothers and sisters
at the altar, knowing that they struggle. Some of them,
(36:33):
not everybody, but some are struggling with the same sins
that they've struggled with like a year ago, and it's
still a battle. And we do understand, not saying that
we want to be insensitive to anything. Some people may
struggle with pornography. Some people may be struggling with drugs, alcohol,
(36:53):
sexual morality, homosexuality, and all kinds of things, right we
could be struggling with in our walk with God. Sometimes
it takes an accountability partner. It takes deliverance, it takes
casting out devils and demons, It takes someone praying with you,
checking on you on a daily It takes discipleship. That's
(37:15):
what Jesus says, go and make disciples. And so there's
people that I check on, people that I work with.
I got people who pour into me. My pastor speaks
into my life. I allow them to just as well
as my brothers and sisters allow me to speak into
their lives. And so I want to open this up
(37:36):
for the podcast. If there's something that you know you
need help with. You're struggling in your marriage or relationships
or whatever, and you don't know what to do financially,
you need wise and godly counsel. All you have to
do is get that top left menu on the app,
scroll down and click on podcasts. Click on his hot
(37:58):
radio podcast. Just go down where you see Accountability Partner.
Click on that link. Fill out the information. There's some
self checks. You can do a list of how are
you and where do you stand? Spiritually? Is the most
important question?
Speaker 7 (38:15):
Right?
Speaker 3 (38:16):
Is your heart right with God? That is the most
important question. Amen. And then once you fill it out,
you can request a follow up in myself or someone
from our team will call, email, text or whatever, just
so that we can get agreement in prayer. There's power
(38:37):
and agreement. Sometimes we need that backup, that reinforcements. We're
not meant to do this walk by ourselves. Amen. So
that being said, we also give out daily challenges. The
challenge for today for our Accountability Partner is this week,
(38:58):
ask yourself, is there anything in my walk I'm pretending
about right? Check yourself? Are you pretending to be holy?
Are you pretending to be righteous? Are you pretending to
be faithful? And the follow up question is what part
of my life am I acting surrendered but secretly holding back? Well?
(39:24):
Part of my life am I acting like I'm surrendered
in this area? Secretly in my heart I'm holding something back?
And ask the Holy Spirit this. The Holy Spirit will
reveal it. God will show you because God wants us
to be real. Amen. He doesn't want us to be fake.
(39:44):
He wants us to be real about everything we do
in the Kingdom. Amen. There's a lot of people who
go to church but are still going to go to Hell,
and it's a scary thing. The next segment is to
update just to let you know that his Hot Radio
(40:06):
is a monitored in a reporting radio station. We do
pay royalties. We do have our own charts. We want
to be the Christian iTunes chart, you know what I mean,
the Christian tune in. We have other radio stations in
our network. We do play other genres. We don't just
(40:27):
play hip hop. We have multiple stations that play other genres.
So there's something for everyone if you just download the app.
You want some positive life promoting music to listen, to
download his Hot Radio app without all the commercialism, right, Amen.

project or single that you want to play and promote
and get out there, go to the website his Hot
Nation Dot. I get the submissions tab and there you go.
(41:11):
All right, time for trivia. It's time to put your
mind to work. Amen. The question is what Greek word
means to keep back to emphasize Acts chapter five. What
Greek word means to keep back to emphasize the word
(41:39):
or to embezzle in Acts chapter five, to emphasize the
word embezzlement. But there's a Greek word. I don't know
if I'm saying that correctly, But let me say that again.
What Greek word means to keep back to emphasize the
(42:00):
word embezzlement. Let me say that one again. What Greek
word means to keep back to embezzle in Acts chapter five.
I don't know why I keep saying emphasize to embezzle.
What Greek word means to embezzle? To keep back and
asks chapter five. That's the question. I don't know. If
(42:22):
you don't get this one, I totally understand because I'm
messing it up. But this right here, if you get
this right, you'll get a pass to a jungle, not
Uptown Jungle, but the other place. Uh Ninja, the Ninja
one off of Sahara. I got some free passes that
(42:45):
will be passing out at the event. So it's ninety
minute pass, all actions pass and Spike Jungle, Yes, Spy something.

day to come out and minister. So this is what
you've been waiting for. The first clue, all right, And

the podcast how to do It Now, here is the
(45:43):
instruction on how to get the discounts and how to
qualify and register for our grand prizes, which one of them,
as I said, is a free pass to another location.
But this is what you do. You gotta have the app,
(46:04):

all right, that is our first stop. Hopefully you get
your gifts in, all your stuff, your goodies over there.
(47:35):
Our next segment is we want to highlight our nonprofit organization,
His Hop Nation, Inc. We are a faith based if
you haven't noticed yet, nonprofit organization. We do concerts and events.
I opened up a Christian club back in twenty twelve
(47:55):
called Club his Hop Las Vegas Christian Hip Hop Nightclub.
We did it events, a lot of events in outreaches
to the community. For about six and a half years,
we had to move out of the location because of
difficulties and different things going on. But we are nonprofit organization.
(48:16):
We're looking to relaunch and we open the club. We
believe that this is something that the community could use,
a positive place for the youth and the young adults
to come hang out, have a good time here, some
live music, stage plays, a new culture, a holy culture,
right and also get the word of God. Just learn
about the Bible. We're not here to be offensive or
(48:37):
judgmental or anything like that. We just really want to
learn what the word means. Right, nothing funny or extra
about it. So if you would like to donate and
support us financially, you can do that on our website
his hot nation dot com. We're looking for supporters, sponsors, donors, grants,
(48:59):
you know, any grant right, any assistance, any help in
any way. We would love to partner with you. Amen.
You can get more information once again at our website
hits hop nation dot com or download the app hits
Hop Radio on all platforms. With that being said, I'm
(49:30):
gonna close it out because this is my time for today.
Make sure you get the clues. Let us know if
you got it in the live chat. And remember you
can also listen to this on our YouTube page. Those
who meet us here at eleven o'clock they'll get it first,
all right. Acts five is a warning, beloved, but it's
(49:54):
also a blessing. So God takes his church seriously, and
he takes your heart seriously. Amen. And as I said,
I am going to pray us out then show you
the steps and how to give your heart wholeheartedly to God.
(50:17):
Some people just don't know because they just haven't been taught.
That's taken me a long time. Thank you, thankfully, by
the grace of God for me to learn it. Amen.
So yes, you develop a life of prayer. Well, first,
let me say this. If you don't know the Lord,
(50:40):
maybe God has been drawing you. You're on this podcast
for a reason. His spirit has been drawing you closer
to him. First, you have to trust and believe in
the gospel. You have to hear the gospel that Jesus
Christ died for your sin. He paid your pity. The
(51:01):
Bible says the wages of sin is death. You do
not want to pay that price. Every time you disobey
every evil thought. Every time you lie, you steal, every
time you hate, you don't forgive somebody. You're storing up wrath.
You are a candidate for hell. There is no such
(51:22):
thing as a good person. If you think you're a
good person, compare yourself to Jesus Christ. He was perfect.
That is God's standard, and that is God's heart and
attitude about sin. Jesus died a brutal death on the cross.
(51:43):
There's some things that God does not play about. But
because he loves you so much, he paid that price
so that you don't have to pay it. But you
need to accept him. You need to buy faith, receive
him into your heart, and repent and turn from a
life of sin. It doesn't work if you just say
(52:05):
a prayer and then go and keep your same lifestyle. No,
you got to turn and be devoted to him. It's
a relationship. So the first step is confessing and believing.
So if you know that you are a sinner and
you deserve judgment and you want to receive Christ. If
(52:27):
this podcast has ministered and touched you in any way,
repeat after me say, Heavenly Father, please forgive me of
my sin. I have done so much wrong in my life,
and I don't believe that I deserve your forgiveness. But
(52:51):
I choose to trust your gospel, your good news that
Jesus paid the price for me. So Jesus, I accept
you into my heart. Forgive me a sinner, Wash me
by your blood and cleanse me. Be my Lord and
(53:11):
be my master. That year would be done in my
life and not mine. I receive the Holy Spirit to
empower me to walk this out all of my days.
And I asks us in Jesus' name, Amen, Now the
(53:34):
next thing for those who are walking in Christ, those
who do believe. And there may be areas in your
heart where you haven't fully surrendered, but you make it
seem like it hourly you think or you want people
to think you're surrendered to Christ. First we'll pray, Holy Spirit,
(53:56):
show us, expose us. Let us know the area is
in our heart that are not surrendered over to you, Lord,
and forgive us Lord for our hypocrisy. Wash us by
your blood, for your word says in first John one nine.
If we confess our sins, you're faithful in justice. Forgive
(54:16):
us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Oh God, cleanse us, O God, forgive us, O Lord.
And so I want to give you the practical steps
on surrendering your whole heart to the Lord. The Bible says,
guard your heart, for out of it are the issues
(54:36):
of life. The Bible instructs us in Romans chapter twelve
to renew our minds daily. So we renew our minds
by reading the Bible, reading the Word of God, memorizing scriptures,
speaking it out over our lives, referring to it before
we make a decision. Refer to the Word of God.
(55:01):
Then it's a life of prayer. It says, to cast
down imagination and bring every thought captive under the obedience
of Christ. When you get those evil thoughts, immediately cast
them down, surrender it to the Holy Spirit. You don't
have the power or strength to do it, ask the
Holy Spirit cast down these thoughts, Holy Spirit, bring these
(55:22):
thoughts captive. I am a holy vessel unto you, Lord,
cleanse me. I reject these thoughts because most of the
times those thoughts were implanet by demonic spirits. Those are
not even your thoughts. But that's where the battlefield that
it's in the mind. We got to get into the
habit of casting down imagination and bringing our thoughts captive
(55:44):
and speaking the word, trusting God, asking the Holy Spirit
to fight our battles for us, because we don't have
the strength to put our flesh down. So that's every area,
every situation, to surrender it over to the Lord and
just do what the Bible says. What does the word say.
If the word is forgive, forgive, be coheardly committed to
(56:08):
forgiving those oh hardly committed. All he cares about is obedience.
That is the moment when you stand before God, the
most important thing. He's gonna see and check your life
as if you've been obedient to His word, if you've
done his will, Amen, And the Holy Spirit is here
(56:29):
to help us soulfully. That gives you some information. You
can go further in this topic on your own tap
in you check GBT how to surrender whole hardly to
Christ or look it up or look up some sermons
or whatever. Yes, but that's where we gotta be. We
gotta be one hundred percent surrendered. Hey man, I'm your boy,
(56:53):
