the Book of Acts study. I'm your brother, I'm your boy.
Mister hisis hopping today. We're gonna continue in Acts chapter two.
We're going to pick up at verse twenty four Peter's

(01:36):
powerful proclamation. Now that's a tongue twister right there, right,
this is Peter's powerful proclamation about the resurrection of Jesus.
Come on and man, our risen Lord and Savior. Now

(01:58):
this is a illogical heart of his sermon. This is
where the gospel hits with full force. So let's get
into the word today, let's grow, let's mature as a family,
and let us walk in Kingdom purposes. Amen. So, like

(02:21):
I said, meet us in a life chat. All you
have to do is download the app h Hop Radio
his out Radio on all platforms, and when you go
to the homepage, go to the top left menu. As
a matter of fact, you're going to go to that
top left menu for everything if you want to get
the extra stuff that is on this app. Now, yes,

(02:44):
of course, on the homepage you can check out all
the live radio stations that are broadcasting. This is a
radio network as well. And if you know any gospel
stations out there that would like to be added to
our network, we're gonna be the gospel tuning in. That's
the vision for this app, or like they're tuning app,

(03:07):
but for the gospel, for podcasts and radio and all that.
We are an evangelistic tool. So the idea is just
open the app and let it play. Let it play.
When people hear music and they get curious about it
and they start inquiring about it, don't send them to

(03:28):
Spotify or YouTube or any other app. Send them to
the Hiss How radio app so they can get the
full effect of the movement that God is doing in
this thing. We're bringing revival Nation to nation. Amen, hallelujah.

(03:51):
So once you download it, go to the top level menu,
hit that drop down, hit live chat, and then hit
the regie page right hit registration. All you need to
do is type in your username, email address, and password
and bang, you are a part of the family. We're
gonna meet you there every day at eleven. I'm personally

(04:13):
in the live chat me. My brother is on three.
He's also in the live chat. Our brother Corinth all
the way from Chicago. We meet up in the live chat.
It's almost like a small group on the radio. And
then we actually do a conference call after the podcast
as well. So if you want to jump on that
and you really want to and graph that word, let

(04:37):
us know, hit us up in the live chat. Now,
let's pray, Heavenly Father, thank you, Father God for this opportunity.
Thank you for this time, oh guy, that you've given
us to meet up or God on this platform. We
ask a guy that this will we will make the
most out of this time Lord to get the gospel out,
the word out that we will preach a word, old guy,

(04:59):
that souls will be touched, He'll delivered and set freeze
in the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Draw your people, Lord,
buy your spirit, O God. We give you all glory,
O God, in the mighty name of Jesus. Ay man,

(05:23):
All right, now, as I said, we are in the
Book of Acts. Grab your bibles, you know, pads in
your highlighters, and meet us here Acts chapter two. We're
gonna pick it up. In verse twenty four to thirty six,
I'm coming at you from the New King James. You know,

(05:44):
one of my favorite Bible teachers. I want to give
a shout out to Pastor Chuck Smith. Gaby Chapel has
taught me how to go verse by verse, chapter by chapter.
They his ministry saved me from a Christian occult, a
very egoistic ministry that like they controlled the lives of
their people. And that's part of my testimony. I'm gonna

(06:08):
have to write a book about this, Say man, all right,
let's dive into it. Verse twenty four. Now, a little background.
This is the day of Pentecost. This is where we
find the leaders in the upper room and about one
hundred and twenty. I believe we're in the upper room

(06:29):
when the Holy Spirit fell. The Holy Spirit power fell
on them, and this was what feasts was that. I
believe it was a feast of tabernacles. I don't know.
I'm sorry I didn't look that up, but it was
one of the Jewish feasts, if you know the what
feast this was, because there's a lot of people that

(06:51):
were men from all every nation came and they were
in Jerusalem. Posted in a life chat the feast of
Pentecosts maybe is what it is. Pentecost means fiftieth, but man,
so it was a significant feast. I believe I broke

(07:15):
it down in the other podcast. I don't know why.
I'm just stuck on this feast right now, but maybe
we'll circle back to that. But it was during his
feast time there were thousands of souls in the city.
And we remember that Peter was a disciple that denied

(07:35):
Jesus three times. He said, you would deny me thrice
before the croc crows, right, and so Jesus restored Peter.
He was a natural born leader of the disciples turned

(07:56):
into apostles, but he was afraid of a service. He
would deny, and even one gospel said that he started cursing.
Isn't God so good? God is able to restore us
no matter how far away we fall. Amen. And So

(08:20):
with that being said, now we see a totally different Peter.
Now we see the power of the Holy Spirit falling,
and the Holy Spirit. When we are empowered by the
Holy Spirit, we have all power, all authority. We have
been commissioned by God to go and make disciples. Amen.

(08:45):
So this is exactly what Peter is doing with the
boldness to speak to over three thousand people. And let's
break it down. Let's see what he spoke. And every
one of them was pricked at the heart and converted

(09:09):
and came into faith, to trusting, to believe in the
Lord Jesus. Amen. So this is where we pick up
the story, and he's in the middle of it. And
now he's talking about the resurrection of Christ. So follow
me whom God raised up. Now he just told them
that they crucified him, but it was God's sovereign will, right.

(09:35):
But they rejected him. The leaders rejected him, they wanted
him gone, They killed him, they crucified him, but God
raised him up. Amen. Having loose the pains of death
because it was not possible that he should be held
by it. Amen. Now this is amazing. Death coundnot old

(10:00):
Jesus because he was sinless, and we talked about this
on the last episode, that he is the sinless son
of God. Death grip is a result of sin, and
since Jesus had none, the grave had no legal claim
over him. Now this is powerful. Peter is telling the

(10:26):
crowd that the resurrection wasn't just a miracle, it was inevatable.
The grave cannot hold what belongs to God. Amen. Let
me repeat that the grave cannot hold what belongs to

(10:47):
Almighty God. Amen. And if the spirit of Him who
raised Christ dwells in us, then death, addiction, fear, trauma,
none of that can hold us either. I don't know

(11:09):
about you, but it's time to run around the church.
It's time to give God praise. That right there is
worthy of our praise, our devotion to give our entire
lives over to the Lord. Amen. Alright, verse twenty five

(11:30):
through twenty eight. Now, Peter, he quotes from the Psalm
of Chapter sixteen, and it says for David says concerning him,
I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he
is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken. Amen.

(11:55):
David was prophetically speaking of the Missaie when he wrote
this song. David died and he was buried, but he
wrote of one who would not see corruption, pointing to
Jesus Christ himself. Now, remember God promised David that the

(12:21):
Messiah would come through his family, through his flesh and blood,
and so David was prophetically speaking of his great great grandson,
the Messiah. Now, Peter, he's building the case right here.

(12:43):
David wasn't talking about himself. He was looking forward to Jesus.
That's the beauty of God's word. It's connection, right, you
can interconnect the scriptures together. God hides Jesus in the tomb,

(13:10):
I mean not in the tomb in the Old Testament.
It reveals him in the New Testament. Right, He's hidden
in the Old Testament. But he is also revealed in
the New Testament. All right, let's go to verse twenty

(13:33):
nine here. Let me see, I mean, this is just
so exciting. It doesn't matter what religious leader that comes

(13:56):
on the scene. There is none like Jesus. Heymen, why
because all of the other leaders are still in the grave.

(14:18):
But Jesus.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Is not. His tomb is empty.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Okay, So all right, let's read verses twenty nine through
thirty one. It says, men and brethren, let me speak
freely to you of the Patriarch David, that he is

(14:59):
both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us
to this day. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that
God has sworn with an oath to him that the
fruit of his body according to the flesh, he would

(15:19):
raise up the Christ to sit on the throne. Hallelujah.
That's an amazing promise right there. He therefore, foreseeing this,
spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul
was not left in hades, nor did his flesh even

(15:44):
see corruption. Amen. That is good news for us, for
hades is another word for grave, or you can even
say shield the grave, or the underworld world or hell
where a lot of flesh is being corrupted. The Bible

(16:06):
speaks a lot about hell. We just spoke about Judas
is Scariot going to his own place, and how Jesus
said it was better for that man that he had
never been born. How bad can it be for Jesus
to even say that Jesus warned people about hell often,

(16:30):
and we cannot leave that out of the message. Jesus
did not see corruption, his soul was not left right now,
Peter uses logic and scripture at the same time, David
is still in his tomb like that's common sense, right. Therefore,

(16:53):
David's words about resurrection must point to Christ. He can
be logical about the Word of God if we take
time out to just study it and look at it. Peter,
now he is empowered. This isn't the same Peter who
denied him. This is Peter filled with the Holy Ghost.

(17:20):
As I said before, this is a man that has
been transformed. When the Holy Spirit feels your life, you
grow from fear to faith. You go from fear to faith,
you go from hiding to declaring boldly hallelujah. And we pray,

(17:43):
I pray that the Spirit will empower every person listening
to this podcast today, that you will walk away from
this podcast empowered by the spirit.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Hallelujah.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
All right, let's look at verse thirty two. This Jesus
God has raised up of which we are all witnesses.
This Jesus God has raised up for which we are
all witnesses. The apostles where eyewitnesses. Christianity is historical. It

(18:27):
is not mythological right, it is historical. There's history, there's witnesses. Now,
Peter says, we saw him, we walked with him, we
ate with him after he rose from the dead. Your
testimony works the same way. People can see the change

(18:54):
in your life. Now. They can argue doctrine of you
can argue the scriptures and doctrine, but they cannot argue
with your experience. They cannot argue with your testimony. They
cannot argue with a life that has been changed. Amen, hallelujah,

(19:19):
Verse thirty three. Therefore, being exalted to the right hand
of God, and having received from the Father the promise
of the Holy Spirit, he poured out this which you
now see and hear.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Hallelujah.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
So you got to understand the benefits. You got to
understand what happened. If you don't know what God has
done for you, you're not going to know how to access this.
We have power, you have access to. Amen. Now, Jesus
received the promise of the the Holy Spirit from the

(20:01):
Father and poured him out, resulting in the manifestations that
they are witnessing at this moment Benecost. It was not
just a random event.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
It was Jesus'.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Coordination gift to the church. When the king sat down,
he released the holy ghosts to empower his people. He
is at the right hand of the Father. He has
sent the Holy Spirit. We have power. Beloved. Stop living

(20:39):
like we're weak beggars. Stop living like you have to
just always acquiesce to your flesh. You don't. You have
power over the flesh. You got power over circumstances and situations.
You have power over Satan and demons. You have power
over this world. Let's live it. Let's manifest it. I believe,

(21:05):
especially that they we're living in now, we're gonna need
more power than ever. Hallelujah. All right, let's go ahead
and finish out this chapter thirty four through thirty six.
For David did not ascend unto the heavens, but he

(21:30):
says himself, the Lord said to my Lord said at
my right hand, till I make your enemies your futstool. Therefore,
let all the house of Israel know assurely that God
has made this Jesus whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Hallelujah, Man,

(21:55):
this is an exciting portion of scripture. I hear there's
so much power packed into it. Now break it down.
The Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right hand.
He's quoting from Psalms chapter one ten, Psalms ten, one

(22:17):
hundred and ten. Right, David again speaks prophetically. The Messiah
is exalted at God's right hand. Hallelujah. Now, Peter concluse
Jesus is both Lord and Christ. It's a done deal.

(22:41):
The evidence is there. This is the climax. Peter declares
Jesus as Lord Master in Christ, the Messiah. He's not
just a teacher, as some occult we try to say

(23:02):
about him. He's not just a prophet as some occults
would say about him. He is not just a healer. Right,
we can't just he's not a Santa Claus in the sky.
We want to get our blessings and our healing and
all this stuff from him. No, but he is the

(23:26):
resurrected King of Glory, hallelujah, the King of Kings and
the Lord of Lords. Hallelujah. And I am honored to

(23:48):
serve him on the podcast, Hallelujah, I am honored Lord
to give my life to the King of Kings. And
to the Lord of Lord. This is all his, This
is his hop this is his hop nation, This is

(24:09):
to his glory, to your honor and to your praise.
O Lord, We ask, O Lord, that you, oh God,
will manifest your glory to this podcast, and that every
need will bow and every tongue will confess. Hallelujah. Man,

(24:35):
Sometimes you just get Have you ever been overwhelmed by
the glory of God? Have you ever just been overtaken?
Just who takes your breath away? Just to realize who
we truly serve. We serve the risen King of Heaven,
the King of Glory. We have power through his spirit

(24:58):
only if you ask for only if you engage in it. Hallelujah.
We are loved, beloved by God, the Father who gave
his only begotten son. All right, it's time for a break.

out to our brother. We've had Cannon on the radio
show as well. I'm glad to see our brothers are
still pushing through. They still doing the thing. Amen. All right,

(29:45):
all right, Well, it's time for the accountability partner. Now
let's think about it real quick. Peter went from ny
in Jesus to boldly pregen his resurrection. Amen, by the

(30:08):
power of the Holy Spirit. So the question with our
accountability partner this week is where is God calling me
to be bold? Right? Where is God calling me to
be bold? What fears do I need to surrender to

(30:31):
the Holy Spirit? Alalujah? Where is God calling me to
be bold? Some self examining?

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Right?

Speaker 1 (30:45):
And what fears do I need to surrender to the
Holy Spirit? Call your accountability partner to talk about this.
Pray about this, get agreement in prayer, get that breakthrough
and I'm also gonna post this in the Life Chat now.
The segment was birth because i was working the altar

(31:08):
at church and I'm seeing my brothers and sisters struggle
with sin and Jesus set us free when Jesus delivered
us right now, Yes, we do understand that there takes growth,
It's gonna take maturity. But one thing that helps us
is getting that accountability partner, getting someone to help you, pray,

(31:34):
allowing someone to pour into you. There's agreement in prayer.
There's power in unity. Amen. And we see this in
a book of Acts. The Holy Spirit did not fall
until everyone came together and won accord, when everyone had
the same mind, united under the name of Christ to

(31:58):
see his power fall. So we need to agree. Do
we agree that our city needs revival? Do we agree
that our community needs revival? The people are hurting, people
are dying, that we need to change some things. Do
we agree on that we need to come together and

(32:19):
pray and cry out to God for an outpouring of revival?
Hey man, we need to come together and pray the
God reopens club his hot Las Vegas, because that's what
it's all about. It's all about revival. Reviving our community
a man. So if you're looking for that accountability partner,

not even made the charts. I'm talking about mainstream hip hop.
There is no hip hop artist that is dominating the charts,
and it hasn't happened in over fifty years. So I
believe that the door is open for c to take
that spot. Amen, it's time for the takeover, all right,

(34:49):

too important and to understand everything that God has paid
