So let's go before our father in prayer. Heavenly Father,
we thank you Father for this opportunity once again to
spend time together in your word. Father God, we ask,
Oh Lord, that you will draw nearer unto us, as
we draw near unto you. Help us to and graft
your word into our hearts, so that we will not
sin against you, Oh God, so that our souls can
(04:16):
be saved. Oh God, Yes, Father God, help us to
cast down imagination and bring every thought captive. Help us
to walk in victory today, Father God, whatever may be
bothering us, whatever he may be struggling with. Right now,
Oh God, we come against all fear in the mighty
(04:36):
name of Jesus.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
We pray. Amen and Amen.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
All right.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
So another one.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Let's get to it. The Gospel of John, chapter eleven,
verse one. Give me a second as I pull up
the new King James version here. Amen, Amen, And so
(05:20):
let's start verse one through verse six. Now a certain
man was sick, Lazareth of Bethany, the town of Mary
and her sister Martha. It was that Mary who anointed
(05:44):
the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped his feet with
their hair, whose brother Lazareth was sick. Therefore, the sisters
sent to him, singing, Lord, the whole he who love
you is sick. Jesus heard that. He said, this sickness
(06:10):
is not unto death, but for the glory of God,
that the Son of God may be glorified through it. Now,
Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazareuth, so when
(06:34):
he had heard that he was sick, he stayed two
more days in the place where he was. Hey, man, hallelujah,
there's a couple of things we can get out of
here real quick. But first let's take a look at
the fact that Jesus had a divine purpose in delaying the.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Visit to Lazarth.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
He allowed this moment to display God's glory and strengthen faith. See,
sometimes God delays our prayers to show his power more
clearly to us. Now, family, sometimes the delay is the
miracle itself. We want God to move right now, we
(07:24):
want him to heal right now, fix it now, But
He might be setting up something greater that will bring
him glory and also build your faith at the same time.
And I can testify that He has done this for
(07:46):
me time and time again. And I believe that if
He's done it once, he's able to do it again.
Sometimes the enemy can be stubborn, sometimes he can try
to attack you with the same.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Thing over and over again.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
But God is still victorious, and sometimes God has a purpose.
But also what really stands out to me.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Is in this verse.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
It says in verse four, and when Jesus heard that,
he said, this sickness is not unto death, but for
the glory of God, that the Son of God may
be glorified through it. Now, Jesus just gave a word
(08:45):
of prophecy right here, he said that this sickness is
not of death. How many of us have received a
word of prophecy from the Lord? I, for one, have
seen many in my walk with the Lord. Now, if
(09:13):
his disciples would have just listened. And more than that, remember,
Jesus is always trying to bring us to belief. He
will make a statement and then he will say do
you believe? And then we would have to respond. We
would have to reckon with that in our minds and
our hearts right then and there. And my advice beleve
(09:37):
it is we need to believe every word that comes
out of his mouth, Amen, because he is truth. Now,
the such situation as we read the story happens to
where he did die. So even though Jesus gives us
a word, but situation, in the circumstances around it seems
(10:02):
like it's never going to come to pass even impossible. Remember,
God is able even to raise it dead. Nothing is
too hard for the Lord, and even the difficulty will
bring God even more glory. Hallelujah, hallelujah. So that's encouraging
(10:28):
to me because the Lord has given me plenty of words,
and I'm still waiting for some. I mean, sometimes we
just have to prepare. We just have to make the
preparations ourselves. As far as we need to fast, we
need to pray over some of these stubborn areas that
(10:50):
keep popping up a man, all right, Verse seven.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Through sixteen another one.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
Then after this he said to his disciples, let us
go to Judah again. The disciples said to him, Rabbi,
lately the Jews sought to stone you, and you are
going there again. Sometimes we don't understand. I love, I
(11:22):
love the fact that Jesus moves with no fear, like
they just try to kill you. But there is a need,
there is ministry, there's something going on that is leading
you right back. And Jesus answered, all he says, are
there not twelve hours in the day. If anyone walks
(11:46):
in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees
the light of the world. But if one walks in
the night, he stumbles because the light is not in
these things, he said. And after that he said to them,
our friend Lazareth sleeps, but I go that I may
(12:10):
wake him up.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Then his disciples said, Lord, if he sleeps, he will
get well. However, Jesus spoke to them of his death,
but they thought that he was speaking about taking rest
in sleep. Hey man, verse sixteen, actually fourteen, verse fourteen
(12:49):
that Jesus said to them, plainly, Lazarus is dead, and
I am glad for your sake that I was not there,
that you may believe. Nevertheless, let us go to him.
Then Thomas, who is called the Twain, said to his
fellow disciples, let us go also, that we may die
(13:11):
with him. Ay Man, now there's a lot going on.
There's a lot of interaction going on here with the disciples.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
It looks like you lost another one.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
Then after this he said to the disciples, let us
go to Judah again. Then Thomas who has called the Twain,
said to his fellow disciples, let us go that we
may die also. Now, Thomas often gets labeled as doubting Thomas,
(13:52):
but here he shows courage. Even if he misunderstood Jesus's purpose,
he was still oil like he was ready. He was
ready to lay his life down. Sometimes faith looks like
walking with Jesus, even when you don't understand his plan
(14:14):
completely right. Obedience matters more than clarity. Sometimes getting the
full understanding right, getting the memo. Obedience is what actually
matters now here in this situation. What keeps popping out
(14:39):
of my mind is Jesus said that this will I
end up to death. They already got the word, the
prophetic word, but they've still struggled with it. They're saying, well,
if he sleeps, he will get well, and they're worried
about the fact that the Jews were trying to kill him.
(15:00):
There's controversy back in Judah they didn't necessarily wanted to
go at this time. But Thomas stands out as a writer.
You know what I mean. It's like, let's go that
we may die with him. How many of us would
(15:23):
love to have somebody like that on our team. God
will send those type of people. They might not understand
your ministry, they might not understand where God is calling
you to, but all they know is that God called
you to them, called them to you. Should I say,
(15:45):
God drew them to you. And they know that they're
supposed to be doing a work. There's supposed to be
a part of what you're doing. And they're willing to
go through the fire with you.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Love it.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
That is a keeper value those people who are loyal
in your life, especially in the Kingdom, hey man, because
there are a few far and in between. But God
will send you those loyal companions.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
All right, let's pick it up in verse seventeen, and
we're gonna go all the way to verse twenty seven.
So when Jesus came, he found that he had already
been in the tomb four days. Now, remember keep that
in mind. He said that this will not end into death.
(16:45):
But here we are, we find a tomb. It seems
like this word cannot come to pass. It seems like
it may be too late. And beloved, I'm ministry to
myself right now. There's a lot that I want to
do and accomplish for the kingdom. There's a lot that
(17:06):
I thought I would have accomplished already, and I have
been delayed, sidetracked, I've backslid, I went back to my
old life. I turned my back on God multiple times.
But God has been gracious not to take me off
this planet, but He's allowed me to come back and
(17:29):
return to him. And I'm getting older. I know God
has called me to a music ministry, and it just
seems like a tomb, the very thing that's supposed to
be alive and thriving. And I find myself staring at
(17:51):
a tomb as well. But we have to remember that
word that he spoke. He said that this when I
end in death. In eighteen now Bethany was near Jerusalem,
about two miles away, and many of the Jews had
(18:13):
joined the women around Martha and Mary to comfort them
concerning their brother. So now word has gotten out that
their brother passed away, so many people came to comfort them,
and they came from Jerusalem. Martha, as soon as she
(18:38):
heard that Jesus was coming, went to meet him, but
Mary was sitting in the house. Martha said to the
to Jesus, Lord, if he had been here, my brother
would not have died. Now she didn't hear the word
that Jesus spoke, that this was not in up and
(19:00):
to death. But look at the situation, in the circumstances
all around this miracle.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
But even now, I.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
She knew the.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Power of Christ. Even though they're staring at a tomb.
She said, even now, God will give you whatever you
ask of him. Jesus said to her, your brother will
rise again. Now that's a company word.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
All we have to do.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
If we take more time just believing God's word to us,
a lot of stress, a lot of struggle would dissipate
if we truly believe God's word. Remember, Jesus is always
making that division between the believer and the non believers.
(20:03):
I mean, at this point, you can understand Mary and
Martha like they're staring at a tomb. But Jesus says,
your brother will rise again, And she didn't understand that
he was talking about in about twenty minutes, like he's
about to do this like right now. And Martha respond
(20:25):
and said to him, I know that he will rise
again in the resurrection at the last date. Now she's
a believer. Even believers can struggle with miracles. Even believers
can struggle with the fact that God wants to move
right here and right now. I've been in her shoes.
(20:51):
There's seeing i'mbelieving for God, even right now as this
podcast is airing. And how well, Lujah, I'm thankful for
the right here, right now miracles.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection in life.
He who believes in Me, though he may die, he
shall live. Look if this this is a powerful I
am statement from Christ, and it's radical. There's no wiggle
(21:31):
room here. He said that he is the resurrection and
the life, and he who believes right it's important to
believe the words of Christ. Though he may die. So
what has died in your life, he shall live again.
(21:54):
Lord is able to bring life to those dead areas,
and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.
Then he confronts her, this is the response for all
of us. We need to put ourselves in her shoes.
(22:19):
And he looks and he says, do you believe this?
The Lord is asking you right now, do you believe this?
Whatever this is for you? She said to him, yes, Lord,
I believe that you are the Christ, the son of God.
(22:43):
Who is to come into the world. Hallelujah. That is
a wise response.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Amen, And remember.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
The word a God tells us that no one can
come to Jesus except the Father draws them the Father.
This is a good sign that the Father has drawn
her to the Lord because she believes, but Martha faith
(23:22):
it was real. She truly believed her faith was real,
but it was limited.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
She believed Jesus.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Could have helped, but didn't realize that he still is
going to do the miracle right then and there.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Many of us believe.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
In the God of Yesterday's power or tomorrow's promise, but
not in his present reality. Jesus is the resurrection, not
just an event, but a person.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Allelujah.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
We're not talking about just an event that's going to
happen in the future. We're talking about a person who
is able to resurrect even now, all right twenty eight
through thirty seven. And when he said, when he had
(24:30):
said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary,
her sister, saying, the teacher has come and is still
calling you. As soon as she heard that, she rose
quickly and came to him. Now Jesus had not yet
(24:54):
come into the town. But was in the place where
Martha met him. Then the Jews, who were with her
in the house encomforting her. When they saw that, Mary
rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, she
is going to the tomb to weep there. Then, when
(25:19):
Mary came where Jesus was and saw him, she fell
down at his feet, saying to him, Lord, if you
had been here, my brother would not have died. Now
Mary is confronted with the same situation. Therefore, when Jesus
(25:47):
saw her weeping and the Jews came with her weeping,
had grown in his spirit and was trouble, and he said,
where have you laid him? They said to him, Lord,
come and see Jesus wept. Now they said that this
(26:13):
is the shortest scripture in the Bible, right right here,
John chapter eleven, verse thirty five. Jesus wept. Then the
Jews said, see how he loved him. So I doubt
if it was a quiet little weep or he was
trying to hide his face. The Jews responded, that must
(26:37):
have been an all out willing. Because the Jews responded
to him, and some of them said, could not this
man who opened the eyes of the blind also have
kept this man from dying. I mean, wow, what a
question right like you can sometimes you got to think
(26:59):
about out your questions, like you gotta think about what
you just said. Right there, they're talking about the Messiah.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Heymen, Now.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
It says Mary went to meet him Martha. I've always
wondered why Mary was the one who poured out the
alabaster box on his feet, and when Mary and Martha
(27:40):
was in the house, Mary was the one who sat
at his feet, and Martha was the one that was busy.
But right here, Mary was so painful in pain because
of her brother that she couldn't even get up to
go meet him. Martha was the one who met him first,
and then and got married. And then when they came,
(28:10):
they confronted.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Them with the situation.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
How many of us have lost a loved one, grieving,
dealing with someone passing away, believing we prayed, we fasted,
but they still passed. I know the word says that
precious in the eyes of the Lord are the death
of the saints. Maybe their assignment was up, or maybe
(28:42):
that was God's plan or purposes. Some people are actually
ready to leave. Some people are ready to go and
receive their heavenly reward. But I always thought that that
it was interesting that she stayed behind. And then what
(29:07):
really gets me, the shortest verse with the deepest meaning.
Jesus knew he would raise Lazare like he knew what
he was gonna do, but he still wept. He entered
into the pain of humanity. Now that's the savior I
(29:32):
serve right there. He's not distant, not detached from us.
He feels your pain. He feels our pain before he
fixes the problem. He still feels our pain, he still
feels our need before he even fixed the situation. I
(30:00):
says that we have a high priest who is able
to sympathize with our weaknesses. In every point of temptation.
He was tempted, but yet without sin.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Amen. That is amazing.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
I don't know about y'all, but I'm getting a lot.
This is helping me, and this is a timely word.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
I need this.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
There's a reason why I really need this word today,
of all days, I need this word today.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
I need this reminder. Today.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
God has delivered me. He's fought my battles time and
time again, and I'm up against another fight. Probably one
of the biggest battles in this area, and I still
need my Lord to cover me and to protect me
(30:58):
in this Amen, all right? Verse thirty eight. As we
finished out the chapter, Jesus, again groaning in himself, came
to the tomb.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
It was a.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Cave and a stone laying against it. He just says,
take away the stone. Martha, the sister of him who
was dead, said to him, Lord, by this time there
is a stench, for he has been dead four days.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Now.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
This is an indication right here that she probably still
doesn't understand. She believes, but she doesn't understand. Jesus already
confronted her about do you believe? And she confessed it,
but she didn't understand it completely. Jesus said to her,
(32:02):
did I not say to you that if you would believe,
you would see the glory of God? Now he's confronting him,
confronting her all once again. If we can only take
Jesus out his word, right, did I not say to
(32:24):
you sometimes he has to speak that to us. Did
he not say to you? We got to go back
and remember when he first spoke to that situation.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Verse forty one.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Then they took away the stone from the place where
the dead man was laying that, Jesus lifted up his
eyes and said, Father, I thank you that you have
heard me. And I know that you always hear me.
And man, that's an interest prayer. We got to be
(33:02):
thankful that we have the ear of our heavenly Father.
And it's got to be consistent. He said, you always
hear me. It's not just every once in a while
or every blue moon. Jesus knew he could do this
miracle at this point because he's always crying out to
(33:25):
the Father. It's a consistent lifestyle for him. And forty
two and I know that you always hear me. But
because of the people who are standing by, I said this.
So he said this for their sake, that they may
(33:46):
believe that you sent me. Now, this is powerful. Jesus
is always trying to bring us to a point of belief.
Even this miracle, even this whole situation, is to spark
belief in the heart of his people.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
For thee.
Speaker 3 (34:11):
Now, when he said these things, he crowded with the
He cried with a loud voice, Lazareth, come forth, And
he who had died came out bound hand and foot
with the grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with
(34:34):
a cloth. Jesus said to them, loose him and let
him go.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Hallelujah.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
This is miraculous and powerful. So let's break this down
real quick.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
And says that.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
But one look at the fact that Jesus spoke directly
to Lazareth.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Right.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
If he had said, just come forth, every dead body
might have risen at that point. That's the power of
his word. He could have raised all the dead.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
That died.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
All the way up to that point if he wanted to.
But he spoke directly to Lazareuth. Now this shows us
how personal Jesus really is. He calls us by name, Lazareth,
comes forth. When you hear his voice, respond to it.
(35:47):
He's calling you out of whatever tune you've been lying in.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
It could have.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
It could be depression, it could be addiction, it could
be guilt or even fear. Whatever tune you may be
lying in, it's time to come forth and to come out.
If you can call Lazareth out of a grave, he
(36:13):
can deal with the situations, the circumstances that you are
facing even today. Amen, Jesus isn't just able to raise
the dead, He's able to bring life to dead areas
(36:34):
in your life. Believe, respond and walk out of those
grave clothes. Amen, al alujah, that's what's up. All right,
We'll be right back at you after this break.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
Yo.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
You are listening to the life of Las Vegas. This
is the hiss hop radio show.
Speaker 5 (37:15):
The times changed, people change, but that won't change me.
Speaker 4 (37:20):
Man.
Speaker 5 (37:20):
I'm always sir my God. But when they can't be
on my people riding in the church look like a
whole fleet.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
Go out and make.
Speaker 5 (37:26):
Disciples of them all. I do that own beach dble
z y l I double v.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
I know that.
Speaker 5 (37:32):
Sounds familiar, but the Saint don on me got the
same high applause. But the message run deep had to
block out all the sinding out. That message gone green.
That's how you looking, Natty. You can't change nothing if
you being stagnant. Satisfaction is one thing, but you can play, Nati.
God won't open the door if you ain't there waiting, Nattie.
You need proof of this great that's what baby looking, Nattie.
(37:53):
I mean listening God over dividends. He woke me up today.
Speaker 3 (37:56):
So what I look like?
Speaker 2 (37:57):
Ever?
Speaker 5 (37:58):
Given there power in this word, I really down my
strength and listening, Dizzy, you look brighter that's the Holy
Spirit listening. And it's God over everything. And now I
don't care about what you people think. Let me tell
you how do it.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
I just wait, let me tell you how do it.
Speaker 5 (38:16):
I just I keep God over everything, and now I
don't care about what you people think. Let me tell
you how do it.
Speaker 4 (38:25):
I just wait.
Speaker 5 (38:27):
Let me tell you how I do it. We got
big three through price. Yet it's the anthem for the save.
Hello be his name. I prays the Lord for all
my days.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Holy Spirit with.
Speaker 5 (38:35):
Me, never need to like the sage. I'm on the
narrow path now along the laws, inside the maze. Huh.
This walk of Christ can be a rocky road. Budd
He's with me through the fire, shot, ragged me, shack
and the bender go. I might fall seven times, but
I'll never fall. And if they ask me for my name,
that's how the story go. I d I double z
why l I pemble v. I know that sounds familiar
(38:57):
with the saint. Don me got the same high PI.
But the message run deep. Have to block out all
the sin and out our message go green. That's how
you looking at it. You can't change nothing if you're
being stagnant. Satisfaction is one thing that you can place
in at it. God won't open the door if you
went there waiting at it. You need proof of this
greatness if you looking at it, tell me, as you
(39:17):
feeling me, this life full of victory. He came to
give his life so we can have it more abundantly. Father,
Are you proud of me? You change the folks arounding me.
Iron sharpens iron. So I had to set down pundery
And it's God over everything, and now I don't care
about what you people think. Let me tell you how
do it. I just wait, let me tell you how
(39:40):
do it? I just uh huh, Yeah, I keep God
over everything, and now I don't care about.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
What you people think.
Speaker 5 (39:47):

sister Dizzy lives. She's actually local out here in Las Vegas.
We have done a few events with her and we
definitely want to do some in the future. Victory anthem,
God over everything, and she mentions in that song in
(40:32):
one of the verses that iron sharpens iron, and that's
what we are here to do today. We're here to
sharpen that iron as we go to the accountability partner
segment right here only his hop Radio app. If you

Speaker 3 (41:15):
We're talking about your disciplines. We need to be developing
daily disciplines.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
Right.
Speaker 3 (41:19):
We need to go before the Lord in prayer and
we need to always be lifting up the name of
the Lord, and we have got to be in his word.
There's a lot of things that we have to develop
in our intimacy with Christ and this will help us
if we are honest with integrity. Answer each question and
(41:44):
then also you can fill it out if you need
to follow up, if you need agreement in prayer or
some counsel. What does a word say? You're in a
situation or circumstance and you gotta get the word right.
Didn't Jesus time and time again said, didn't I say?
Is this not my word? Have I not already spoke?
(42:05):
And sometimes it's a battle just to believe. And we
need to get around those people that speak faith, that
speak life into our lives, and not try to sap
out our faith with doubt and unbelief.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
Amen.
