All right, let's go for our father in prayer. Heavenly Father,
(04:03):
we thank you for another beautiful day. Father, Thank you
Lord that we are able to get up today. Father,
Thank you Father God for your provision for the Lord
is our shepherd. Lord, we shall not want. Lord. Thank
you Lord that you have the heart of a shepherd
for your people. And we invite you in and we
allow you to be the shepherd of our souls. Help us, o, God,
(04:25):
to sit with you every day. Help us to meditate
upon your word every day. Help us to grow in
our faith every single day. And we asked his Father
in Jesus name, Hey man, hallelujah. All right, we are
(04:48):
in the Gospel of John.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Looks like you lost another one.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
And this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna take
versus one all the way to verse six, and we're
gonna go to the nkj V. If you don't know
(05:18):
what that is. That is the new King James version.
That's the version I like to go through. All right,
Starting to verse one, most assuredly, I say to you,
he who does not enter the sheep fold by the door,
but climbs up some other way, the same as a
(05:40):
thief and a robber. But he who enters by the
door is the shepherd of the sheep. Him the doorkeeper opens,
and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his
own sheep by name and leads them out. And when
(06:05):
he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them,
and the sheep follow him. They know his voice, yet
they will by no means follow a stranger, but will
flee from him, for they do not know the voice
(06:26):
of strangers. Jesus used this illustration, but they did not
understand the things which he spoke of. Wow, this is awesome.
This is comforting, both comforting and frightening at the same time,
because if you don't understand it, then that means you
(06:51):
don't know his voice and man, so let's break it down.
Let's get the understanding.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Now.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
On biblical times, she folds were enclosed areas with one door,
one way in and one way out, and only the
two shepherd had access to his flock. Now, Jesus uses
(07:21):
this to show that he alone has the legitimate right
to lead God's people. Now, others who claim spiritual authority
outside of him are thieves and our robbers. Now we
know the Bible tells us that Jesus is the head
(07:41):
of the church. That's why I always say it is
never a good thing to just forget about church altogether.
You cannot throw away the baby with the bathwater, because yeah,
there may be a lot of bad churches out there,
but there are some churches that are still faithful. God
will always have a remnant, and church is God's idea.
(08:05):
This is his organization. I'm not going to go up
to God and say I don't like your organization, right, No,
we have to get in and find that faithful remnant
and be a part of it. Amen as the Holy
Spirit to guide us. Now, this is hard because Jesus
(08:28):
says his sheep know his voice. This means, in this
noisy world filled with false teachers, social media noise, and
counterfeit truth, we've got to tune our hearts to his frequency.
(08:52):
The same way you recognize your mom's and your dad's
voice in a crowd. We need to get so familiar
with God's word that we instantly recognize when he speaks. Now,
if you're struggling to discern God's voice, this is your reminder.
(09:14):
Get back in your word, Get back in prayer and
stay connected to the shepherd. Amen. Now let's go to
(09:35):
verse seven through verse ten. This is good. Verse seven,
then Jesus said to them again, most assuredly, I say
to you, I am the door of the sheep. All
(09:56):
whoever came before me are thieves and ros But the
sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If
anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will
go into go in and out and find pasture. The
(10:20):
thief does not come except to steal and to kill
and to destroy. I like that scripture right there. I
have come that they may have life, and that they
may have it more abundantly. Hallelujah Jesus. This is his intent,
(10:42):
This is his heart, This is his desire towards us.
Jesus not only leads the sheep, but becomes the door itself,
the only entryway to salvation and safety. But the thief
(11:07):
refers to Satan and false shepherds lead people into destruction.
About Jesus's mission is life, and that more abundantly abundant
life isn't about luxury. It's about overflow, peace that the
(11:30):
world can't give, joy that doesn't fade away, and a
purpose that can't be shaken. Christ didn't come to make
us religious. He came to make us alive. Hallelujah. When
(11:51):
he said that again, Christ, it's a T shirt right there.
He didn't come to make us religious. He came to
make us alive. When you enter through the door, you
find rest, you find protection, you will find provision. Put
(12:19):
the phrase right there, hey man, this is good.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
All right.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Eleven in fifteen, I am the good shepherd. The good
shepherd gives his life for the sheep. But at harling,
(12:45):
he who is not the shepherd, one who does not
own the sheep, sees the wolf come in and leaves
the sheep and flees, and the wolf catches the sheep
and scatters him. The harling flees because he is a
harling and does not care about the sheep. I am
(13:09):
the good shepherd, and I know my sheep, and am
known by my own as the Father knows me. Even
so I know the Father, and I lay down my
life for the sheep. And the other sheep I have
(13:34):
which are not of this fold. Them also I must bring,
and they will hear my voice, and there will be
one flock and one shepherd. Hallelujah. Now this is encouraging
(13:57):
one flock and one shepherd. Okay, let's let's break this
down real quick.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
It looks like you lost another one.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Amen. All right, all right, we are we hold on
one second. So we just read verse ten. Right, I
have come that they made life life more buntantly. Okay,
(14:30):
I read that, so fifteen, I'm the good shepherd. The
good shepherd gives his life for a sheep. But a
harling he who is not a shepherd, one who does
not own the sheep. Okay, now, all right, let's park
here for for a minute, because there's a lot. There's
(14:52):
a lot here that we can get out. Holy Spirit, Hallelujah,
help us really dig and understand this past is right here,
o God, thank you. Now. The difference between a harleing
and a shepherd is love. He says it right here.
The harleing works for pay, he just wants to get paid.
(15:12):
He's just in it for the money. But the shepherd,
he owns the sheep and lays down his life for them.
That's a beautiful illustration of the heart of God. This
is a heart of Jesus, sacrificial, protective and personal. Jesus
(15:42):
is in some distant leader He's personal. He knows your name,
he knows my name, and I find comfort in that
he knows our struggles, he knows our scars. While the
(16:05):
world runs when things get hard, Jesus runs towards us. Hallelujah.
That's the good shepherd we serve so today. Trust his
leadership even when you don't understand his directions, hallelujah. Even
(16:28):
when it seems difficult or hard. That's where we have
to a crucify our flesh and trust and believe. It's
not easy. I'm not gonna lie. I still struggle at
times to trust and believe God for certain areas and
(16:48):
certain things. I wish I could say different, But I
gotta be honest and I gotta be transparent as well. Then, Now,
what I really like about this passage that we're reading.
(17:09):
This gives us a glimpse and an idea of how
our walk in relationship with God should actually look like.
From one God relates to us as sheep. Now out
(17:30):
out of the animal kingdom. The sheep are the only
ones who need a shepherd. The sheep are the only
ones who cannot survive out in the wild on their own.
They don't have the instinct by themselves to make it. Actually,
(17:57):
I'm trying to be nice, but the truth is, sheep
are just plain dumb animals, right, And this is what
the Bible refers us as think about it, as dominant
as we think we are on this planet. And yes,
(18:18):
the Bible did say subdue the earth. Right, mankind, we
have dominion over the animal kingdom. We can fly, we
can we have boats, we can travel over the ocean
and sea in land. We have cars, we have great inventions.
(18:45):
Man has accomplished great things on this earth. But even
after all of his accomplishments, he still is just a
dumb sheep when it comes to the spiritual realm. Right,
the Bible says that God created worlds. That's plural. This
(19:05):
is not the only world in the universe. Here people
say all the time, the people who believes in aliens,
the people who believe in aliens, they always say, well,
we cannot be the only one in the universe. Well,
we're not. Just read the Bible. There's another world. There's
a spiritual dimension, and there are two forces that are
(19:28):
working light and dark. And the battlefield is in our minds.
Our hearts are desires. That's why we have to cast
down imaginations. We have to take every thought captive. We
have to keep our hearts clean, and our only job
is to believe in Christ. Hey man, now, being that
(19:51):
we're dumb sheep, we need to stop being prideful. We
need to stop being arrogant. We need to stop thinking
that we can make it on our own. The Bible
tells us that our heart is desperately wicked. Who can
know it but love. The worst type of deception out
(20:12):
there is self deception. And every time you get away
from the word of God, you're deceiving yourself. When you're
leaning on your own understanding, that's where the dumb sheep
apart comes in. Right, Bob says, there's a way unto
a man that seems right, but the end thereof is
the ways of death. So what I'm trying to say
(20:36):
is that you need a shepherd. I need a shepherd.
There is a need for us to be led. Who's
leading you today? Just think about what you think about,
what desires are leading you. What is the master passion,
the master desire in your heart? If it's not Jesus,
(21:00):
idle Our hearts are idle factories, and we have to
keep a check on it. The Bible says, guard our hearts,
we're out of it. Are the issues of life now.
The good news is that Jesus himself is our good shepherd.
(21:21):
He wants to be. He's qualified, he has the capacity.
He is the only one who could truly lead God's people.
He is a good shepherd that lead his life down
for the sheep. He is not a harlan. Watch out
for people who just want to do it for money.
(21:43):
All they do is talk about getting paid, but they
can care less about your soul. You need to find
the people who truly love you, who are genuine people
are going to tell you the truth to pour into you,
people who truly want to build you up and belove it.
(22:05):
These people are very far and few in between, and
the days you're living in now sad to say. Think
about the scripture in the Book of Psalms twenty three.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He
shall have no want for anything. When Jesus is our shepherd,
(22:30):
he wants to become your shepherd today. Is he truly
your shepherd? He wants to be my shepherd today. I
need to allow him to a shepherd every area of
my life and beloved. I'm speaking to myself as well.
There's times where I get independent, I get busy, and
I rush out there thinking I can handle it on
(22:51):
my own. If he's not your shepherd, I invite you
to invite him, ask him to become the shepherd of
your soul. And there's a promise he said. He has
(23:12):
come to bring life and that more abundantly. If you
wonder why you're struggling in your life, if you're wondering
why things are not working out, look at who is
leading your life. Don't allow your heart to lead you.
You have to lead your heart. Aymen, let's take a
(23:37):
quick break. Let's be right back.

let him do it like you do.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
(27:29):
is the hiss hop radio show.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Man, we are back, We are back. That is Jordan.
I'm strong. Let him do it. Let him be that
good shepherd of our souls. Amen. Hallelujah. Very comforting, very
comforting to know, Hey, we were not built to do
life on our own. We were created to walk it
(27:58):
out with him and man, that is awesome and comforting.
David said that he causes me to lie down on
green pastures and lead me inside the still waters. This
is how he wants to lead our lives. Amen. Thank
(28:18):
you Lord. All right, now it's time for the accountability
partner segments. This segment was birth out of working the
altar at church and noticing the saints struggling with the
same old thing year after year. Sometimes it just takes
(28:39):
that accountability partner somebody just to agree with you in prayer.
Some people, I don't know that they put up a front.
They act like they got it all together, or they're
so spiritual, or they're so independent. Right, our society makes
it seem like being independent is like a steam, like
(29:00):
I don't need no one. I got it all together.
That is not true. You don't see anyone in scripture
that's got it all together. We all need savior and
we all need each other. Jesus said, go and make
disciples of all nations. So if you have a besetting sin,
I would hate you see people go to church and
(29:23):
still end up going to Hell. It's not enough to
be in the proximity of Jesus. We need to be
intimate with him. He created us for a relationship for life,
not religion. Hey man, anyone who comes any other way
(29:49):
as a thief and a robber. Jesus is the door,
and he says that his sheep knows his voice, but
they will flee from a stranger's voice. Amen. Do you
know the voice of the good shepherd? Well, if you
(30:11):
don't know, we're going to help you this podcast. You
can get to know them. Amen. So the challenge is
week is find your accountability partner. If you already have one,
get with them and ask this question, who's been tuning
(30:33):
into the Shepherd's voice this week. Right, this is a discussion.
Now let's be real. Are you following his word or
just doing your own thing? You need to examine our
livexamine our hearts, examine every area. Now, text them, call
(30:55):
or email them and tell them one thing you'll obey
this week that lines up with God's voice. Just pick
one thing. You know that God has been calling you.
You know you've been hearing him and he's been saying
to you, do this. You need to do this. She
(31:16):
needed to correct this area. And maybe joining the church,
or maybe joining a prayer group, a small group, and
may be going out and witnessing to your neighbor. It
may be multiple things. But what is God's voice telling
(31:39):
you today? Hey man, all right, I just want to
give you some info about the radio station. His Hot

trivia on today, some trivia. The question is in John ten,
(33:31):
what does Jesus call himself that shows his relationship with
the sheep? That's the question, what does Jesus call himself
to show his relationship with the sheep? I put the
multiple choices in the life chat to just choose one
(33:53):
of those bad boys a seeing who wins that trivia. Also,
we want to give a community shout out, hey, if
you are doing anything out in the community. Let us know.

what time it is. This O nation is out here
(36:05):
ministring to the youth. We go to the juvenile detention centers.
We hold Bible studies, we hold concerts, community outreaches. We're
here to build legacies so the next generation of believers
will be equipped. So you can support us through prayer,
(36:26):
in giving, and volunteering. Just plan and visit our website
his hot Nation dot com for more information. And also
we're gonna add our Walmart tab to the app Walmart. Basically,
it's our roundup. If you shop Walmart dot com, you
can choose us as one of your charities and you
(36:51):
can round up your change to support us. Saymen, the
kingdom is calling. Let's get behind this movement. All right.
(37:11):
Let's close it out, and we have a closing verse
for you, John ten sixteen through eighteen. He says, in
(37:32):
the other sheep I have which are not of this fold,
them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice,
and there will be one flock in one shepherd. Therefore,
my father loves me because I lay down my life
(37:52):
that I may take it again. No one takes it
from me, but I lay it down of my I
have power to lay it down and have power to
take it up again. This command I have received from
my Father. Hallelujah. That's powerful. This is unity in one spirit.
(38:29):
Jesus was already seeing beyond Israel. He's got sheep that
are not of this fold. He was looking at us,
the Gentiles. He's calling every nation, every tribe, and every
(38:50):
tongue into one flock. There is one Shepherd, one gospel,
one kingdom. So let's keep listening for his voice, and
when you hear it, follow Hey man, this has been
(39:12):
the voice of the Shepherd. Episode seventeen on this new series.
I'm doing the Gospel of John on the His Hop
Radio Show. Next we're gonna pick up in verse twenty
two and ten verse twenty two where Jesus reveals even
(39:33):
more about his divine identity. So stay blessed day two
and then always keep a kingdom and remember it's not
about us, It's all about the Christ in us. God
bless youd.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
You are listening to the.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
Light of Las Vegas. This is the hisis Hop Radio Show.
