Father this morning. Emily. Father, we thank you, Father God
(04:05):
for waking us up this morning, and we thank you
for guidance, and we thank you for direction. Father. We
asked Father God, that you meet us here in this
place with your spirit, help us to understand your word.
Help us, Father God, Oh Lord, to get through this day.
Father God, Oh Lord, with victory, with grace, and with
strength in your holy spirit. We praise you and Jesus'
(04:31):
mighty name. Amen. All right, So if they give you
enough time to turn your bibles to the tenth chapter
of the Gospel of John, hallelujah, we thank you Lord.
And so, as I said a minute ago, we're looking
(04:54):
at division. We're looking at this belief, instill that and
change the identity of who Jesus really is. So let's
look at it and look at how we can apply
this to our own lives. And so we're gonna start
off in chapter nineteen, and we're gonna take it all
(05:17):
the way to verse twenty one, and it says there
was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings,
and many of them said, he has a devil and
(05:41):
is mad why hear him? Now that's a lot of
criticism right there, a lot of backbiting. I can definitely
relate to that. Others said, these are not the words
of him that has a devil? Can a devil? Open
(06:05):
the eyes of the blind? Sharp division right there? Really, Now,
truth will always bring the vision. So don't get worried,
don't can get concerned about it. Just be faithful to
(06:26):
preach and proclaim the truth of God's words. But just
know that that's the natural thing that happens. Jesus's words
reveal hearts. Some respond with faith, others with anger. Miracles
(06:46):
like the healing of the blind man validated his divine authority,
yet unbelief blinded others even more. You see, man, this
verse hits really hard because even today, when you speak truth,
people divide. The real question is who's listening to the
(07:11):
voice of truth and who's following the noise of the crowd. Now,
this is a call to stay rooted in the spirit.
We gotta stay rooted. We can't be moved, we can't
be swayed one direction or the other. Because when the
(07:34):
world calls you crazy, Heaven might be calling you chosen.
When we say that again, when the world is calling
you crazy, that's a good indication that Heaven is calling
you chosen. God has chosen you for a task. You
(07:58):
have a calling on your life. Amen. Now let's go
to verse twenty two through twenty four. And it was
at Jerusalem, the Feast of Dedication, and it was winter,
(08:19):
and Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then
came the Jews around about him and said to him,
how long dost thou make us doubt if thou be
the Christ? Tell us plainly, all right, tell us playing
(08:45):
now on the surface, that doesn't look sound like a
bad question, right, like they really want to know. But
you see, the Feast of Dedication, also known as Hanukkah,
celebrated the rededication of the temple after destruction by and
(09:16):
the costs. I think that's how you pronounce his name.
Affinity's now. Yeah. Ironically, while the people celebrated physical light,
they rejected the true light of the world standing before them.
(09:39):
Now they celebrated restoration while missing the very one who
restored them. And we could do the same thing, attend church,
seeing and shout, yet miss the presence of Christ himself,
(10:06):
missed the one we were singing about. And that's tragic.
And this is why it started the Accountability Partner segment
here on the podcast, because a lot of people are
going to church, but they're missing the one that they
(10:27):
came to come visit the men, Verse twenty five through thirty.
Now Jesus answered them, I told you, and you believed not.
The works that I do in my father's name, they
(10:50):
bear witnesses of bear witness of me. Now I mentioned
this before that the very works that Jesus did, they
bore witness of who his true identity was. And even
(11:11):
though they asked him, tell us plainly if you are
the Christ, he put his finger on the issue their unbelief.
Remember I always said that Jesus always brings division between
the believer and the unbeliever. Twenty six. But you believe
not because you are not of my sheep, as I said,
(11:36):
unto you. Wow, that is tragic. Jesus knew who his
sheep was and who his sheep aren't or should I
say wasn't. But I'm thinking about even today he still
knows his sheep and whose are his and who are not?
(12:02):
He said? My sheep hear my voice. Now this is
a characteristic of if you truly belong to him or
if not? Are we his sheep? Or are we not?
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and
they follow me. Amen, We're going all the way to
(12:24):
thirty on this one. My sheep hear my voice, and
they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life,
and they shall never perish. Neither shall any man pluck
them out of my hand. My father, which gave them me,
(12:44):
is greater than all, and no one is able to
pluck them out of my father's hand. I and my
father are one. Hallelujah. I praise God for that no
one could pluck us out of his hand. This is
(13:11):
one of the most powerful affirmations of Christ's deity. The
unity between father and son guarantees eternal security. Let me
say that again, the unity between father and son. It
(13:33):
guarantees eternal security. The true sheep not only hear his voice,
but follow as well. It's both intimacy and obedience. There's
the balance intimacy and also obedience. This is personal. Jesus
(13:57):
doesn't just want fans. He wants followers who recognize his voice.
The Greek word for here is okay oh yo ako
u o I repronounced that meaning to understand with intent
(14:20):
to obey. When you hear his voice and move in faith,
no one, not depression, not doubt, not demons can snatch
you from his hands. Hallelujah. Man, that is so comforting
(14:42):
this morning. Nothing or no one his snatch us out
of his hands. We need to listen with the intent
to obey what is spoken to us. All right, We're
almost through the chapter through thirty three, and the Jews
(15:08):
took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them,
any good works have I showed you from my father?
Which of those works do you stone me? The Jews
answer him, saying for a good work you stone me not,
but for blasphemy, and because that thou, being a man,
(15:32):
makest thyself God. Now the Jews knew exactly what he said.
Jesus answered them, is it not written in your law?
I said, ye are gods? If he called them gods
unto whom the word of God came and the scripture
(15:52):
cannot be broken, Say ye of him whom the Father
has said anctified and set into the world. Thou blast Femith,
because I said I am the son of God. Wow,
Jesus does not shrink back, does he? Hallelujah? Now let's
(16:23):
get back into it. Then they took up stones against him.
Now they understood the claim. Clearly, Jesus didn't merely claim
to be like God. His key claim to be God.
(16:44):
Religion often stumbles right here. This is where their cults stumble.
This is where the religious people stumble. This is where
a lot of people lose it. Right here, Jesus himself
claims to be God. You see. Theyll admire his teachings
(17:08):
but reject his deity. That's a line that's saying right there.
Jesus isn't just a moral teacher. He's Lord. If he's
not God, he's a liar. If he is God, then
(17:29):
we must bow. There's no choice, there's no middle ground.
We can't halfway serve the king. We have to serve
him with our whole hearts. Hey man, this is good.
This is really encouraging for me this morning. All right.
(17:52):
Thirty four through thirty eight, Jesus answered them, is it
not written in your law? I say you are God's
lower case?
Speaker 1 (18:02):
She?
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Right here? She called them God's into whom the Word
of God came and the scripture cannot be broken. Amen.
Say of him whom the Father has sanctified and sent
(18:26):
into the world, Thou blasphemous, because I said I am
the son of God. If I do not the works
of my Father, believe me not. But if I do,
though you believe me not, believe the works that you
(18:47):
may know and believe that the Father is in me
and I in him. Amen.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Another one.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Now right here in the getting ready to stone him.
But his answer to that is right here the Psalms
chapter eighty two, verse six, to show that even in scripture,
(19:22):
humans were called God's Lord kgg as as as representatives
of divine authority. If Scripture used the term, how much
more justified as Jesus sanctified son he claim divine nature.
(19:49):
Jesus wasn't backing down at all. He wasn't He was
teaching them the scripture, and he taught them that the
scripture cannot be broken. But I love that line. That
means a word stands even when culture shifts. The Word
(20:09):
of God cannot be broken in my own walk. For me,
that is an anchor, something that will anchor me when
it comes to the scripture, because the Word of God
doesn't change, it changes me. You'll never be able to
(20:30):
change the word of God. We were not meant to
change it. The Word is meant to change us. Hallelujah.
All right, let's go to verse thirty nine. We're going
(20:50):
to finish out this chapter. Hallelujah. Therefore they sought again
to take him, but he escapes out of their hands
and went away again beyond Jordan, into the place where
John at first baptized, And there he abode, and many
(21:16):
restored unto him, and said John did not did no miracle.
But all things that John spoke of this man were true,
and many believed on him. There a man many believed
(21:43):
on him. There. You see, even in rejection, God's plan
moves forward. The rejection in Jerusalem led to revival beyond
the Jordan. Where religion closes its doors, faith opens hearts.
(22:10):
That's powerful because sometimes God removes you from rejection so
he can position you for reception. Jesus left the temple
but found hungry hearts in the wilderness. Family. If people
don't receive you, keep walking. God's purpose moves where his
(22:37):
presence is welcomed. Hey, man, God's purpose moves where his
presence is welcome. I've lived all of this. I know
how it feels to be rejected, and that's a good
sign of good indication that God's calling is on your life. Amen.
(23:06):
All right, let's take a quick break. We'll be right
back out.
Speaker 4 (23:17):

Speaker 4 (26:56):
You are listening to the lights. This it's the His
Hop radio show.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
All right. This a little bit of fighting music right there,
as we see right there in the life of Christ,
if they give it to him, they're gonna give it
to us. Amen. But we have to encourage each other,
stay in the faith, staying the spirit, because no one
(27:28):
can take us out of his hand. Hallelujah. He and
the Father are one of God before us. Who can
be against us? Come on, hallelujah. Nothing else. This podcast
should be lifting hearts right now through the power and
presence of the Holy Spirit. We thank you Father. Amen.
(27:54):
All right, it's time for the accountability partner segments. As
I said a minute ago in this podcast that we
could be in the proximity but not intimate with the Lord.
We can go to church and not even meet with
the person of whom we're supposed to be there for it. Right,
(28:18):
a lot of people going to church, but they're not
gonna make it into the Kingdom, and that's heartbreaking. That's
because of the relationship with sin. We got to realize
that sin will always separate us. That's why Jesus died
on the cross to set us free. We don't have
(28:41):
the freedom to go and keep sinning. We have the
freedom to say no. We don't have to sin. We
can say no to the temptation, we can say no
to the flesh. We can say no to evil and
negative thoughts. They try to trude, intrusive thoughts, They try
to enter into our hearts and minds. So sometimes we
(29:04):
need help, we need support. We need a person to
hold its accountable. We need someone that we can go
to and pray with. And so that's what the Accountability
Partner segment comes in. On the app, go to the
top left menu, hit that drive down and go to
podcasts and go to his Hot Radio podcast and then
(29:29):
right there there's an Accountability Partner tab. It's a good
idea to click on that like on a daily basis,
just to go through the checklist and then fill it out.
If you want one of us to follow up with you,
if you need prayer, if you need someone to agree
with you, just hit us up right there on the app.
(29:54):
Sometimes you need that backup. Sometimes you might not get
over that that besetting sin without someone praying with you.
Fasting and praying now is a challenge for this week. Now,
tune your ear to the Shepherd's voice. That's your challenge.
(30:19):
Start your morning with the word and not with your phone.
Every day, ask the Lord what are you saying today?
And obey immediately, not just half heartedly, but like right here,
right now, bring that obedience, say man. Secondly, we want
(30:43):
to let you know that his Hot Radio is a
monitored in a reporting radio station. We send your music

this app, and it doesn't matter which station you're listening to.
Hit that thumbs up if you like it, or even
the podcast that you like. Now, if you got a
project music, if you're selling a book or anything like that,

blank and follow me. So what is the answer to
that trivia posted in the live chat? And I'm actually

write it off. We are a five oh one C three.
Now as I close it out for today, when the
(36:08):
world is divided by opinions, stay tuned to the voice
of truth. Let me say that again, when the world
is divided by opinions, stay true to the voice of truth.
(36:30):
That's pretty good. I'm gonna post that as your boy.
Remember mister his Hot reminding you it's not just a movement,

Speaker 4 (37:17):
