(03:55):
and also you can check out what we got going

got some great things happening, things that you can get
involved with and take part of. So we want y'all
to get tapped in on our website his hot nation

(04:18):
dot com. All right, let's go before everything Father, in
prayer everything, Father, we come before you. We ask go God,
that your word will work the seed of your word. Oh, God,
will just germany it in us. So God we will, Father, God,
have a harvest well, God of the fruits of the spirit. Father,

(04:39):
for your word, says and Galatians five nineteen. Walk in
the spirit, and we will not fulfill the luscile desires
of our flesh. So we put on our spiritual men
this morning, and we put off the deeds in the
works in the sinful nature of the flesh. We crucify it.

(05:02):
Father God, we ask the Lord that every person on
this podcast will be touched. He'll deliver except free God.
We pray, Lord that souls, Oh God, will be found,
and that you will use this as a mighty platform
in your hands. And we asked his Father in Jesus' name,

(05:23):
and God's people said amen and amen. All right, okay,
so we left off on verse eighteen. You're in the
Gospel of John just right off the back. This gospel
is powerful, this powered packed from the very first sentence

(05:48):
all the way through this book. The first thing we
see is the deity of Christ. We go back before
the creation, is that the Word was with God, and
the Word was God, and the word we're gonna see

(06:09):
has become flesh. Jesus is the logos, the Word of God.
We see the powerful deity. We see that he is
the light of the world, and darkness cannot comprehend it.
Darkness Satan can do nothing with Jesus Christ. There's no counsel,

(06:30):
there's no strategy. The only thing he can do is
try to come after us. All that pent up frustration,
all that energy, all that hatred, all that anger is
aimed at us because he cannot touch our Lord and Savior.
So that's why it's so important for us to be

(06:53):
bathed in prayer. We need to put on Christ every
single day. And so we talked about John the Baptist,
how we must decrease and allow the Lord to increase
in our lives. We need to point people to Jesus.
Jesus said that if you lift me up, I will

(07:16):
draw all men hunting me. So if you want to
grow and you want a healthy in a effective ministry,
make sure you're lifting up the Lord Jesus Christ, and
not yourself. Amen, be that vessel that God can Trusteljah.

(07:37):
And so we're picking it up in the Gospel of John.
This is gonna be an awesome journey. So stick with us.
And so let me uh, let me get my place
here starting from and I go and come at you

(08:05):
from the New King James Bible. Okay, I got it now,
all right, So I'm gonna back it up a little

(08:26):
bit to verse sixteen. I'm just gonna start reading it. Actually,
let's go to verse fourteen, and then I'm gonna stop
at nineteen and pick it up. And it says the
word became flesh, and the word became flesh and dwelt
among us, and we behold beheld his glory, the glory

(08:50):
as of the only begotten of the Father, full of
grace and mercy. Now, I'm glad actually went back to
that because that talks about the deity of Christ. The
word was with God, and the word became flesh full
of grace and mercy. Hallelujah. Now John bore witness of

(09:14):
him and cried out, saying, this was he who I said,
He who comes before me is preferred before me, for
he was before me. And of his fullness we all
received and grace for grace, for the law was written

(09:37):
through Moses, but grace in truth came through Jesus Christ. Man.
That is a blessing. No one has seen God at
any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the
bosom of the Father. He has declared him. Amen. We

(10:00):
actually went through a series, actually going through a series
at church talking about the things that we declare making
a declaration. Only a king can decree and declare a thing.
And here we go, right here in scripture, Jesus declared

(10:21):
the Father. Amen. Now verse nineteen. Now this is a
testimony of John when the Jews sent priests in levites
from Jerusalem to ask him, who are you? Heymen, this
is gonna be good. We're gonna finally see opposition opposition

(10:44):
shows up early. I just want to encourage your heart.
If you receive opposition in your ministry, you want to
step out and do something for God. And all of
a sudden, out of nowhere, people are hating on you.
People are resisting you. There's opposition like bam, like you

(11:05):
couldn't even get out there.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Good.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Well, that's a good sign that you're doing the will
of God. Amen. That is a good sign because Satan
is not gonna kick a dead dog. He doesn't go
after those who are no threat to his kingdom. So
just stay in the will of the Lord, stay in

(11:27):
the posture of prayer, and allow God to fight your battles. Amen. Now,
this is the testimony of John when the Jews said,
priests and levit's from Jerusalem to ask him, who are you? Now?

(11:49):
Let me let me say this, John the Baptist, he
created such a stir when he was preaching and he
was baptizing that the religion leaders in Jerusalem had to
go out and to investigate like who is this? Like
what's going on? And I can relate to that. When

(12:12):
we started the club back in twenty twelve, I've had pastors,
I've had people, even had a person come and tell
me that. You know what, there's a particular woman in
our city. If she does not give you the approval
or legitimize your ministry, then like you don't get credit.
And I'm like, man, I wouldn't want her job for

(12:33):
all the money in the world. You know what I mean.
I'm legitimized by the Holy Spirit. You know what I'm saying.
And so yeah, the opposition out of the priests and
the levice came not out of hunger for truth, but
out of suspicion. They were suspicious of John the Baptist. Now,

(12:55):
see that's the system, and the system respond when God
starts moving. So stay encouraged. I've heard people call it
the Christian Illuminati online. Right, there is a system out
there that is designed against the moving of God. Now

(13:18):
instead of people celebrating revival that people are getting healed,
delivered and set free. Nah, people want to investigate. They
want to watch your life. There's people watching me right now.
People are probably jumping on this podcast just to watch,
just looking to see how they can stop the movement

(13:42):
of God. Right. That just comes with the territory. Man.
It is the same way today as it happened to John.
The Baptist religion gets nervous when truth shows up a man, hallelujah.
Let me say that again. Religion, it's nervous when truth

(14:07):
shows up. Hallelujah. Now he confessed and did not deny,
but confessed that I am not the Christ. Now it
takes humility, It takes a heart of integrity, because look

(14:28):
at all the intention he was getting, look at all
the following. He could have easily probably gotten rich off
of the crowds that he was pulling. But John was clear.
John was a humble servant. He didn't let people elevate
him beyond his role. You see, sometimes the biggest trap

(14:52):
is letting people call you something you're not. John was
quick to shut it down. I am Christ. He knew
his lane. You know what I'm saying, And I've dealt
with that. I ain't gonna lie. That was probably one
of my biggest struggles. You know. I felt I was something.

(15:12):
I was somebody. I have the only club in Las Vegas,
people calling me left and right, phone ringing off the hook,
and I'm like, you know what, it is better to
stay humble and allow God to guide us then to

(15:35):
try to think we can take the wheel and do
better than God. Amen. We gotta stay humble first twenty
one And they asked him, what then are you Elijah?
He said, I am not. Are you the prophet? And
he said no. See he still he could have had

(15:57):
some status. He's still denying. Right here. He said, I
am the voice of on crying in the wilderness. Make
straight the way of the Lord, as the prophet. Isaiah said. Amen.
So he quotes scripture here. Now, the Jews expected Elijah

(16:24):
to return before the Messiah. The word a guy says
it based on Malachi chapter four, verse five. For homework,
look up that verse. Read that as a background Malachi
chapter four, verse five. They also expected the prophet from

(16:45):
Deuteronomy eighteen fifteen. Now, Moses speaks of a prophet that
will come that was just like Moses, and Moses told
the whole nation to take heed and listen to this prophet.
And John also rejects that title. Now, notice Don John,

(17:08):
Don John did not try to inflate himself with a
grand title. He was in try to flash his title
in front of people. I mean, he could have said, yeah,
I'm Elijah, I'm Elijah, like I'm just like Elijah. He
could have said that, and that would have been true

(17:28):
because he came in the spirit of Elijah. But he
just kept as simple Kingdom. Workers don't need hype. Just obedience. Man,
that's a T shirt right there. Keen them, workers, You
don't need hype. All we need is to be obedient

(17:52):
to the call. Hey man. Twenty two to twenty three.
They said to him, who are you that we may
give an answer to those who sent us? What do
you say about yourself? And he said, I am the

(18:12):
voice of one crying in the wilderness. Make straight the
way of the Lord. As a prophet. Isaiah said, now
John identifies himself only by the word of God. That
is a safe thing to do. As a matter of fact,
I want to share a quick story. I went down

(18:36):
to minister to the juvenile detention center last Saturday, and
we had an open discussion. Right we put the tables
in a circle, a semi circle, and we dig into
the Word and I invite questions. And there was one

(18:57):
particular guy who had a lot of questions, and he
was like, well, what about the guy in the island
who don't know never heard the gospel? You know, I've
heard it, said that if you don't believe in Jesus,
you're going to go to hell. Well, that guy go
to hell. And they're saying, well, what about this, what
about that? What about this? And then they said, well
I think this, this is that, this is this, and

(19:17):
this is what I said. Look, be careful. There's one
thing that you're doing that is a huge mistake. You're
going off of your own opinion. You're trusting your own heart,
your own thoughts. You're grabbingmself out of the air. We
need to come back to the Word of God and
allow the Word of God to speak to instruct The

(19:40):
only way we're going to learn about God is by revelation,
by God revealing himself to us. God has to reveal truth,
and once we hear the truth, then we cannot resist it.
The Book of Roman says that people will resist, they
will fight again against truth, and that's dangerous. And they

(20:04):
kept going off their own opinion and just off the stuff.
And I'm like, look, I'm gonna keep bringing to the Word.
He says, every question you ask, I'm coming to the Word,
and a few of them they are just not happy
with my answers. I'm like, look, this is the word,

(20:24):
and so Amen, let's not make that mistake. And I'm
excited to see John the Baptist is doing the same thing.
He identifies himself by the word. He begins to quote
Scripture and Isaiah forty chapter three. He quotes that and
he says he is not a celebrity, He's a servant,

(20:47):
pointing the way. Amen, Now what do you say about yourself?
What do I say about myself? That is the big question.
John said, I'm just a voice, not a brand, not
a big name, just a voice for Jesus. And this

(21:09):
is the model. Amen, And I am honored to be
that voice. If that's all I am is his voice?
What do they call it in the choir the crier.
I'm gonna know I'm saying it wrong. But basically, when
the king sends going out to make announcements or announce

(21:33):
certain things about the king and the kingdom, that's all
we are. We're just supposed to go through our village
and announce what the king has already said. Amen. All right?
Twenty four and twenty five. Now those who were sent

(21:55):
were from the Pharisees, and they asked him saying, why
then do you baptize if you are not the Christ,
or Elijah or the Prophet. Now, the Pharisees mindset was legalistic.
There's that religious, legalistic religious spirit that the Church has

(22:21):
been fighting from day one. A man, I personally had
to fight the spirit and didn't even know I was
in a battle. It says, who gave you the authority?
They couldn't understand that God himself had called John. They
could understand the relationship peace that God wants to have

(22:41):
with every one of us. The world don't understand it.
They don't get it, and religious people don't understand the
personal relationship, the intimacy part. This is the biggest thing
that we have. This is our biggest weapon, our biggest
privilege is we we get to go and spend time

(23:03):
with God. You just don't know how much of a
blessing that is. We get to a lot of people
like the name drop right, especially here in Vegas. It's
about who you know and not what you know. People
want to name drop and once you are connected or
know a certain person, then yeah, you could possibly go

(23:25):
to the next level. Well, how about the creator of
the universe. We get to spend time with him. Now,
this right here shows how people question your authority just

(23:46):
like me. People question my authority to do the ministry
that I was involved in. But when God sends you,
you don't need man's stamp of approval. And that's my
whole point. There's a lot of people who disapproved of
me opening and operating a Christian nightclub in Sin City.

(24:08):
Even the most opposition was from inside the church. Go figure,
and people felt that I needed their approval or I
needed their head nod or whatever, and I was just
trying to do what God called me to do. Now,
I'm not saying I did everything perfect, but what I'm

(24:31):
saying is that I live this. This is real talk
right here now verse twenty six and twenty seven. John
answered them saying, I baptized with the water. But there
stands one among you whom you do not know. It
is he who coming after me, is preferred before me,

(24:56):
whose sandal straps I am not worthy to lose. Hey man,
Now that's humility right there, and that's us. That is
our position. This is where we need to stay. We
need to stop, and I'm preaching to myself right now,
we need to stop trying to get the glory for
ourselves and realize that we're not even worthy to loosen

(25:23):
his sandal straps. Amen. Now, John pointed away from himself
and pointed to Christ. Even the lowest servant had the
job of loosening sandals. But John said he wasn't even

(25:46):
worthy of that capacity compared to Jesus. Christ, the lowest
servant will loose sandals traps. He wasn't even at that level.
That is humility on a whole another level. He basically said,

(26:07):
I'm lower than the lowest of servants when it comes
to Jesus, and that's how he keep pride from creeping in. Amen,
I love it, I love John the Baptist, Amen, I
love the work Verse twenty eight. These things were done

(26:30):
in but theta beyond the Jordan where John was baptizing.
Now the place is marked. The movement that we're gonna
look at is historic. Right, you can go and take

(26:51):
a tour through this area. This is historic in history.
In the script, the spirit I'm sorry sets the scene
for the coming of Christ's ministry, and man Jesus is
about to minister. He's about to drop some bombs, and

(27:14):
this is getting exciting. The stage is set. Now don't
miss this, but say the means house of the Ford
frd House of the Ford, or a crossing place. It's

(27:34):
no accident God set John's ministry there. It was literally
helping people cross over unto repentance, preparing for Jesus Christ.
How many people are we helping the crossover? How many
people are we bringing to repentance? How many people are

(27:59):
we peering for the coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus is
coming soon, beloved, Just look at the world. We need
to be on our job. We need to be on
