Speaker 2 (04:46):
Hello everyone.
This is Brother Dylan here.
Just wanted to take the time totalk to you guys about a couple
things.
I know we've had a recentcouple episodes that's been
updates and things that's goingon in our podcast and our
ministries on our podcast andour ministries.
Just wanted to touch base withthat and kind of discuss more
(05:08):
things that's been happeningthis past week so and then try
to discuss some of them thingsand then hopefully this will be
the last one for a while, unlesssomething else happens.
So let's go ahead and getstarted, all right?
So several people have asked usyou know what's the schedule
look like now?
What are we preparing to?
(05:31):
Are we going to have a sermonevery day, something in that
ballpark?
The thing that I would like todiscuss to you about this issue
and things like that andquestions that people has
brought to us Our schedule forposting sermons now is going to
be Monday, wednesday and Friday, and we did that because it kind
(05:55):
of lowers the time anddedication Not necessarily the
dedication, but the timepreparing for sermons and kind
of decreases the amount of workthat we're having to do With us.
Recently, with the previouspodcast host that we used, we
(06:16):
was able to post every singleday a sermon, except on the
weekends.
So Monday through Friday youwould have a sermon, except on
the weekends.
So Monday through Friday youwould have a sermon.
But that was very difficult onme and plus others that have
been posting to this podcast.
It takes a lot of time to findsermons and able to edit them
(06:40):
and get them cleaned up andenough to have a better sound
quality and things like that.
So it takes a lot of time tohave a better sound quality and
things like that.
So it takes a lot of time.
So this way it would help us tohave a sermon three days of the
week.
So basically just cut down alot from what we're doing.
And it's not that we've lostdesire or not that we don't have
(07:02):
any passion for this ministryanymore, it's nothing like that.
It just takes a lot of time todo that.
And this way it can cut downthat time frame of working hard
to try to get a sermon every day, to perfecting the other
sermons that we're now posting, and it gives us time to work on
other things in the ministry.
(07:23):
It gives us time to work onother things in the ministry and
also it helps us to kind of cutcosts.
With our current podcast host.
They give us so many hours in amonth to upload our audio.
(07:45):
I think we get 12 hours in amonth to a podcast person.
That's not very much, you know, fortunately.
I wish it was unlimited, likeour old podcast host.
But with Buzzsprout that we'reusing now gives us a lot more
benefits, a lot more perks thatwe actually needed, more
benefits, a lot of more perksthat we actually needed.
(08:06):
So we had to make the switch.
Of course, you know, with thatswitch it's going to have some
negative things and somepositive things, but the
positive outweighs the negativeand we're just trying our best
to keep this ministry afloat.
As everyone knows, the financesis very crucial for everyone
(08:28):
and we had to work withsomething.
Unfortunately, we do best withmaking money to support this
podcast through the ads that weused from the previous host and
that's going to cut downtremendously.
So we're kind of worried aboutthat and we're just trying to be
transparent and I want for us,our listeners, to understand
(08:53):
where we're coming from, so thatyou guys can know what we are
looking at, and my plan is tokeep doing this for a long time,
as the good Lord gives me theopportunity and because we love
enjoying it and my team that'spart of it now and they really
(09:14):
love enjoying it.
So we want to keep going asmuch as we can.
You know, with that being said, finances are are very tight.
With that being said, uh,finances are are very, um tight
at you know, at times there'sbeen, uh, countless times that,
um, and I'm not trying to putmyself on a pedestal or to my
own horn, basically, but there'sbeen several times I've took
(09:36):
out of my own um wallet in orderto keep the lights on.
Basically, um, and we we dostruggle, um, trying to keep the
lights on, basically, and we dostruggle, trying to keep
everything going.
But you know, god's helped us along way.
So, with that being said, someof us ask you know, with sermons
(09:56):
, the increase, is there a wayfor us to get special sermons or
is there a way for us to getthe sermons early so that we can
have them on certain days?
There is an option with ourmembership club.
Basically, if you sign up andit charges you $5 a month that's
the minimum and you get thesermons two days before everyone
(10:19):
else.
You also get bonuses, likeother extra episodes that
actually don't count against ourhours that we can use.
So I plan on using that forinterviews and things like that,
for preachers' interviews andsome devotionals and things like
that that we're looking at.
So I'm hoping that will workout and you guys can benefit
(10:42):
from that and you can also helpus.
In the meantime, we coulddesperately use some giving.
I hate that.
I'm not asking anyone to give.
I know the finances are verytight with everyone, but if you
could give $5 a month that wouldhelp us tremendously.
You know to.
(11:02):
It would help us keep thepodcast hosting up and it's not
hurting everyone.
So I try to give where I can tokeep the podcast in the way it
should.
So I just wanted to touch basewith that.
All right, let's start with thenext thing.
(11:23):
Some have asked about theclassic Holiness Sermons podcast
.
We did have some reviews onApple Podcasts and I was asking
us why we haven't posted in awhile.
But very recently Brother TimJenkins from Virginia has taken
over that podcast and he's donea fabulous job.
He has uploaded a bunch ofsermons.
(11:45):
They do not have intros oroutros and we've decided to kind
of cut that out and for him tokind of work and start mass
uploading to kind of catch up onthe year that we've missed of
not uploading to that podcastand we're looking forward to
seeing how far that podcastgrows.
(12:05):
And you can find that podcaston Spotify and Apple Podcast.
We're really excited to see thebenefit of it reaching a lot of
people.
A lot of people enjoy hearingthe old time sermons that's
preached years and years ago,but then it takes time and it
(12:27):
takes work actually trying tolocate them sermons.
So if you have any old sermonsfrom tapes or from CDs, please
send us an email or you can sendus a text in the show notes.
Please make sure, if you dotext us, to leave your phone
number or your name in the textmessage, because we have no way
(12:51):
of seeing the number when you dotext us through our system.
Unfortunately, buzzsprout doesnot offer that, but make sure
you put your number in there ifyou want us to contact you.
If you want us to contact youby email, just put your email in
there so that we can at leastget a hold of you somehow.
(13:11):
We would definitely want togive that opportunity for you
all.
If you are tech savvy and youhave the sermons on your phone
or on your computer you canupload them to our Google Drive
folder.
It is in the show notes of asermon.
(13:32):
So if you click on sermon, listen to it.
Then you start reading the shownotes on Apple podcast or
Spotify or any other podcastplatforms you'll see.
On there it says Google Drivefolder.
You click on that link andit'll give you an option to
upload.
So if you have them on yourphone you can upload.
That would be a great way.
But if you have them on CDs ortapes, please send us an email
(13:54):
or a text and we'll send you anaddress for you to send them to.
We'll send them right back.
I am still currently working onsome tapes from a couple of
brothers that have given ustapes to use, so it will take
some time.
If it's tapes CDs I can dopretty quickly, but just keep in
(14:16):
mind tapes is a longer process.
So I just wanted to touch basewith that.
Also, someone sent us a sermon.
A listener sent us a sermon.
It was called TitledSanctification, but it did not
have a preacher's name or, I'msorry, it didn't have the
preacher's name.
(14:36):
It just had the title, the wordSanctification.
If you're listening and you'vesent that to our Google Drive
folder.
Please send us a text or anemail telling us who the
preacher was so that we can getthat uploaded.
It had great sound quality andwe would love to use it, but we
just didn't have a name of thepreacher that preached it.
(14:58):
I tried to listen to see if Icould catch the voice, but could
not recognize it.
So if you have that sermon andyou sent that sermon to us,
please send us a text and wewould greatly appreciate it.
We have no way of contactingyou because it didn't have your
email or anything in the GoogleDrive folder.
So we'll greatly appreciate itif you can just send us a text
(15:22):
or email.
We really appreciate that.
I think I've said appreciated alot, but yeah, guys, I really
appreciate you guys.
I think I've said appreciated alot, but yeah, guys, I really
appreciate you guys taking thetime to listen to this podcast
and our team works very hard andwe have a lot of people that
helps us in the ministry and I'mvery thankful for the
(15:45):
opportunity.
All right, one more thing todiscuss for the opportunity.
All right, one more thing todiscuss Our HPO Kids podcast.
Several has asked about.
You know what's going on withthat.
Heritage Bible College iscurrently out of school.
As everyone knows, most schoolsare out for the summer, so
there is no content being pushedout and hopefully in August
(16:09):
that will start back up.
In the meantime, I plan to tryto get out some other resources
that we can upload to thatpodcast.
I've been searching for thatand if you have anyone that has
recorded audio for children'sministry or something like that,
please send us an email and ifthey would be willing or you
(16:30):
would be willing to release thatto us that we can use in the
meantime, I'd greatly appreciateit.
That would help us tremendouslyto kind of fill in until
heritage can start back withtheir recordings and get their
first episode going and thenfinish up with their season with
a new season coming out.
So I hope everyone is enjoyingthat.
(16:53):
It's kind of like if you've everheard of Ventures in Odyssey.
It's kind of like that they doa fabulous job, an outstanding
job.
Several colleges have kind ofhelped us as well, like Heritage
Bible College has done that, and I think Figbee has also done
(17:16):
theirs as well and they did oneseason with us and they really
enjoyed it.
And if you're a college andyou're looking into kind of
helping with that, pleasecontact us.
Are a college and you'relooking into kind of helping
with that?
Please contact us.
We'd be willing to just setsomething up and, um, you know,
have a meeting and kind ofdiscuss um your direction and
what you would like to producefor us, and we can definitely
(17:37):
take care of um the podcastingpart of it.
We just put it on our podcastand, uh, you get full credit and
, um, we want to to kind ofexpand our ministry and Heritage
Bible College.
It started out with just as aclub and the kids would come
(17:57):
together in the evenings andkind of work on it and it's
turned into a curriculum.
It's, it's done.
It's done really well and Godhas truly had his hand in it and
we're very, very thankful.
And I felt inspired years agowhen, before the podcast had
actually come into effect, thatthe children has to have
(18:20):
something.
Adventure as an Odyssey iswonderful and well, but I would
like to see you know part of ourmovement kind of get involved
with that.
I know we have, you know, sister LaDonna Blue and Mike
Blue with Little Mary andseveral other ministers that
have kind of took in that roleand do the same thing and we
(18:42):
appreciate that so much, but wekind of wanted to have it in
part of our ministry as well, appreciate that so much, but we
kind of wanted to have it inpart of our ministry as well.
So we reached out to heritageand um see, if you know, they'd
be willing to help us and they, they jumped on board and they've
done fabulous job ever sinceand we constantly get I would
say constantly, but we get oftenum compliments and um you and
(19:07):
appreciation of that podcast, and several adults and parents
have reached out to me and toldme hey, thank you for setting
that up and getting thatestablished that their children
love it and they've beenlearning a lot.
So God has truly had his handin it.
And I wanted to thank BrotherAaron Aslan.
He took over that ministry andjust has done a fabulous job and
(19:30):
we're excited to see what thefuture holds with that and
hopefully it can turn out to amuch bigger thing, and we're
thankful for what God has donethere.
So I just wanted to add that aswell.
So next thing I would like totalk about is, if you have a
(19:51):
podcast and you've been kind ofexperimenting and you kind of
want a following, you want tokind of increase your audience,
please send us an email.
You can create us a shortadvertisement, audio
advertisement, and we will playit on our podcast free of charge
.
We won't charge anything.
We want to kind of push morepodcasters of the holiness
(20:17):
movement in that direction andyou know we want to lead the
message of Christ to many lostpeople.
That we can and if we can, youknow someone has listened to our
podcast and they hear.
You know another podcastadvertised that's wholesome and
that's clean and that's a goodChristian based podcast.
(20:40):
I believe it would be worth it.
So we're just trying to advancehis kingdom.
In no means this podcastministry is is to gain any
monetary things.
That's not our goal.
That was not my objective whenI started it.
It won't be my objective untilI end.
(21:01):
I mean that's just how it'sgoing to be.
Our objective is to reach asoul to Christ.
If we just reached one personin our ministry it would be
worth it all and I've had thatmotive ever since I started it
and I plan to keep that motive.
Being a minister myself, I praythat every time I preach that I
(21:24):
reach somebody.
You know, if it's just oneperson.
That's what it's worth.
I want to be able to be, youknow, honored by Christ in that,
in that method, um, not behonored by man, but honored by
Christ.
And uh, um, I definitely wantto pull a soul out of hell and
(21:45):
that's my number one goal.
I've got many things that Ineed God to move in, and if I
can do for God, god will do forme.
So, um, I would reallyappreciate if, uh, appreciate,
if anybody has them and wouldhave some podcasts and they
would like to share it acrossour platform.
We would love to have you andjust send us an email or text
(22:08):
and we'll get in touch with youand get that exchanged and
hopefully post it to our podcastat an all sermon episode or
something like that.
So we're excited.
All right, I think I've rambledenough.
I just wanted to say thank youall for your kind words.
I would really appreciate it ifyou've just now started
(22:29):
listening for a while.
If you have Apple Podcasts, please leave us a review, or
Spotify.
That helps us reach otherpeople, more people.
Give us a review on Podcasts orSpotify or other podcast
platforms that help us reach alot more people, and also send
(22:53):
us a text through our fan mailon Buzzsprout, tell us how much
you appreciate this podcast.
That helps us reach others asmore people respond.
We know the algorithm and allthings like that.
It pushes it out to otherpeople.
People probably never evenheard of our podcast.
(23:14):
We want to reach as many soulsas we can, so we would really
appreciate some reviews and thatwould help us tremendously.
And keep in mind to keep us inyour prayers.
We're praying and hoping thatwe can keep this podcast going,
and my worst fear right now isthe financial part of it and, um
(23:37):
, it's not that I'm begging formoney, but I'm just being
transparent.
I'm trying my best to keep itafloat.
Um, with everything that's youknow going on, we're we're
trying our best to keep it on.
So, um, keep us in your prayers.
Um, been burdening me about itfor a while now.
So keep praying for us and keeppraying for my family.
(24:01):
I would like to see a lot of myfamily members saved, got a lot
of needs before the Lord.
I have some things going on atwork that I'd like the Lord to
move in and want to do well, andsome upcoming tests for work,
and so please keep us in yourprayers.
I would greatly appreciate it.
(24:22):
All right, I think I've rambledenough for you again.
So may God richly bless you alland I hope you guys have a
great week and you know, takecare and be careful.
May God bless you.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
The Close and tight
and finding it harder to see the
(25:21):
kindness you told us to be andtrying to hope that I'd try and
know You'll make a way, you'llmake a way, you'll make a way.
You'll make a way, you'll makea way.
(25:47):
Come kingdom of God, true andkind, the boldness of our
sacrifice.
Your heart shows Love.
