Thank you all, and may God keepyou and bless you today.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Well, ain't you glad
to be in the house of the Lord
tonight, amen.
And ain't you glad that weserve an all-sufficient Savior
tonight, amen.
I tell you what, through allthe trials of life that I've
ever faced, brother Gerald, Ican say one thing the Lord has
been all-sufficient, he's beenall I ever needed.
Amen.
I'm thankful for that tonight, ain't you Amen?
(01:03):
Ain't you glad that we serve aGod?
You know a lot of people inthis community.
There's a heavy Asian culturein this community, a lot of
false idols, and you know a lotof these yards around here.
You see them building theseshrineries, these shrines to
their false gods.
Amen, these little idols thatthey have to take care of, that
they have to amen.
(01:24):
They have to carry around withthem these idols that they have
to amen, make preparations for,to put up to Amen.
But how many is thankful thatthey serve a God that they don't
have to carry around.
But we serve a God that cancarry us Amen.
And a God that is able, amen,to do exceedingly and abundantly
all that we could ask or think.
(01:44):
Ain't you glad that we serve aGod that, no matter what we go
through, no matter what thetroubles of life, no matter how
bad it may seem.
Amen, ain't you glad that weserve a God that is more than
able?
I said he's more than able,amen.
And you may have come into thishouse tonight, amen, burdened
down with weights and thingsgoing on in your life, but I'm
(02:07):
here to tell you tonight, amen, that God is able to speak life
to that situation in your life.
Amen, you may feel like it'sinsurmountable, like it's not
going to come to fruition, likeit may be dead, there may not be
any hope, but I'm here to totell you tonight there's one
that can walk on the scene, amen.
I feel his spirit here tonightand he's here, and he's here to
(02:29):
speak life to your situation.
That you can walk out of thesedoors and leave differently than
the way that you came.
Amen, do you believe thattonight I said, do you believe
that tonight, a lot of timesthat we put we put handcuffs on
the Lord, all because we'redoubtful of our unbelief.
But I pray tonight that thatdoubt and that unbelief will be
(02:53):
driven out of here tonight andthat some soul tonight needs
help.
Amen, something that you'regoing through that you, amen,
will leave out of those doorsdifferently than the way you
came.
Amen, that's what I intended tocome for.
You know, I don't go to GoldenCorral and Brother Frankie and
just pay my money and go sit atthe table, brother Nelson, and
(03:14):
just sit there and look at anempty plate, never pick up the
utensils, never order anythingto drink, and just get up after
sitting there for a little whileafter watching everybody eat.
I just get up and go there fora little while after watching
everybody eat.
I just get up and go out to myvehicle and leave.
No, when I go, I go to getsomething to eat, I go to get my
stomach full.
Amen.
And that's the same way it ishere tonight.
(03:34):
Amen.
I come to church not to see whateverybody else is doing, not to
see whatever, how everybodyelse is acting, but I come to
church to get my soul filled.
Amen, it's me, lord.
Amen, not my brother, not mysister, but it's me, oh Lord,
standing in the need of prayer.
Amen, I've got to have him.
I don't know about you, amen, but there's things in life that
(03:56):
we go through, amen, and we'vegot to have him in the presence
of the Lord to move on ourbehalf.
Amen.
I feel like that's what theLord wants to do here tonight.
I'm not going to hold you verylong.
I pray that you won't quit onme, Amen, that spirit that we've
been feeling here tonight.
I pray that you would keep thatintensity, amen, and that we
would have a service, an altarservice, like we've never
(04:19):
experienced.
Amen, that we could say Iwalked out of those doors
differently than the way I came.
You believe that can happentonight, amen, you believe that
can happen tonight, and I knowexactly that is exactly what the
Lord has need for us tonight.
That's his desire for ustonight.
Amen, for us to get exactly.
Amen, what we came for.
(04:40):
Amen.
If you have your Bibles, I'dlike for you to turn to the book
of St John, chapter 11.
We're fixing to draw out of anold well this is a very familiar
scripture, amen, but out ofthis old well, I pray that we
draw a fresh drink of water, that it may be refreshing to a
dry and thirsty soul heretonight.
Amen, st John, chapter 11,.
(05:00):
As you're turning there, I'dlike to say I appreciate our
pastor, amen, and his wife, amen.
They're going to Houston.
I appreciate them trusting usand trusting us with the pulpit.
Amen, to preach to our people.
You know I do not take itlightly.
Nor do I believe with all of myheart, nor do any of these
other men of God that stand inthe pastor's stead when he's
(05:21):
gone.
Amen, you are my people andthere's nothing more that I want
to see happen than for the Lordto give you exactly what you
need.
Amen.
You're my family, a lot of you.
I'm around you more than I ammy own flesh and blood.
Family, amen.
And I know there's needs inthis house.
It doesn't take a prophet toknow that, that there's people
walking in some dry places, there's people walking through
(05:42):
some circumstances, amen.
And they need the Lord to moveon their behalf.
Well, I feel like the Lord haslaid this on my heart tonight
and I believe the Lord iswanting to speak life into some
situations and into somecircumstances, into some lives
tonight, if you'll get yourheart engaged in this With me.
There's untelling what it'suntelling what the Lord is going
(06:04):
to do for us, amen.
I don't have much here tonight, just a little simple thought.
Amen.
But this is what I felt thelord impressed on my heart to
bring to us amen.
John, chapter 11.
We're going to begin reading atverse 1 just to set the
narrative.
Amen everybody.
If you're an avid bible reader, you probably know the story.
We're going to read some of it.
We're not going to read some ofit.
(06:24):
We're not going to read all ofit, but we're going to try to
set the narrative here to buildoff of Amen, let's have an altar
here tonight.
What do you say?
Amen, let's get what the Lordhas for us.
The Bible said in John, chapter11, now, a certain man was sick,
named Lazarus, of Bethany, thetown of Mary, and her sister,
martha.
And it was that Mary whichanointed the Lord with ointment
(06:44):
and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother, lazarus, was
sick.
Therefore, his sister sent untohim saying Lord, behold, he
whom thou lovest is sick.
And when Jesus heard that, hesaid this sickness is not unto
death.
Oh, don't you like that rightthere.
This sickness is not unto death, but don't you like that right
(07:04):
there.
This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that
the son of God May be glorifiedthereby.
Now, jesus loved Martha and hersister and Lazarus.
But notice this now, when hehad heard, therefore, that he
was sick, he abode two daysstill in the same place when he
was.
(07:24):
Then, after that, he saith tohis disciples Let us go into
Judea again.
His disciples say unto himMaster, the Jews of late sought
to stone thee and goest thouthither again.
And Jesus answered Are therenot twelve hours in the day?
If any man walk in the day, hestumbleth, not because he seeth
(07:48):
the light of this world, but ifa man walk in the night, he
stumbleth because there is nolight In him.
These things said he, and afterthat he saith Unto them our
friend Lazarus Sleepeth, but Igo that I may awake him Out of
sleep.
Then said his disciples Lord,if he sleep, he shall do well.
(08:11):
Howbeit, jesus spake of hisdeath, but they thought that he
had spoken of taking of rest andsleep.
Then Jesus said unto themplainly Lazarus is dead.
Skip down to verse 17.
Then, when Jesus came, he foundthat he had lain in a grave
four days already.
Skip down to verse 21.
(08:31):
Then said Martha unto JesusLord, if thou hadst been here,
my brother had not died.
But I know that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God,
god will give it thee.
And Jesus said unto her Thybrother shall rise again.
Amen.
(08:52):
I'm not going to read anymore.
We're going to cover it here injust a few minutes as we get
into the message, but just for aminute.
This is what I felt beforeyou're seated.
I'd like for you to pray onemore time.
This is what I felt and pressedto the Lord to bring to you
tonight Amen.
Somebody's facing a situation,as I've already said, that there
is death.
Amen, in that situation, itshows no life.
(09:14):
It seems like it's hopeless.
It's dry.
Amen, it seems like it's nevergoing to change.
But this is what the Lordimpressed on my heart To tell
the people at the lighthousetonight, and this is the thought
I want to bring to you tonight, just for a few minutes, simply.
I want to talk to you simply on.
Don't bury it yet.
Amen, don't bury it yet.
(09:35):
If you would pray one more time, father, we love you.
We thank you for your goodnessand your mercy.
God, I know my inadequacy.
God, I feel where I'm at.
Lord, behind this sacred desk.
God, these precious people, lord, needing a word from the
Lord, I pray, father, you wouldgive me exactly what you would
have me to say Nothing more, nothing less.
(09:55):
Father, help me, then to getout of the way.
Give me wisdom, god, to get outof the way and allow you to do
what you would have amen to doin this service tonight.
Father, I know where I'm at.
I pray you would bridge theinadequacy, bridge the gap to
where you would have me to be.
I pray the anointing of theHoly Ghost would come down, god,
and transform me into apreacher of the gospel.
(10:18):
Lord, I pray you would toucheach and every heart and every
life.
God, I pray you would breathelife.
I pray you would breathe lifeinto every situation and every
circumstance that looks bleak.
Could you put your heart intoit tonight?
Are you going through ittonight, lord?
Would you breathe life intoeach and every heart?
I pray you would visit everycrack and crevice of every soul,
(10:40):
god, and breathe life today.
I said breathe life today, lord, that your people may leave out
of here, amen, differently thanwhat they came.
God, and breathe life today.
I said breathe life today, lord, that your people may leave out
of here, amen, differently thanwhat they came.
God, I pray that you would meetus in this altar tonight and
we'll give you all the thanksand the glory.
God, we're looking forward towhat you're going to do, god.
We have an expectation of whatyou're going to do, lord.
(11:01):
We're looking to you, god, theauthor and the finisher of our
faith.
We need you tonight, jesus, tocome on the scene and to speak
light to our situation.
Amen and amen.
I appreciate you and I thankyou for standing for the reading
of the word of God.
Amen.
I pray that you'll help us heretonight.
Amen.
We're going to be pushingtowards an altar.
(11:21):
I'm going to get out of the wayhere as soon as I feel like the
Lord is done with me.
Amen.
But how many have dreams andambitions?
Amen, to be more or to havemore in life?
Amen, but nothing seems to goright.
Amen.
And just look around in the dayand the hour in which we live,
amen.
It seems like everything thatcan and will go wrong has gone
(11:44):
wrong.
Amen, it's just life.
It seems like a lot of times itcomes along, amen, and it dots
us down and it kicks the windout of us, it takes the wind out
of ourselves.
Amen.
As the old saying goes, everything, amen.
Everything that could go wrong, amen has gone wrong.
Amen, it went wrong and lifehas left us empty On the bottom.
(12:10):
Looking up From our backs, looking up From the bottom, no
more desires to be had, no moredreams to be had, those things
that we once held dear, thosethings that we once prayed for
Amen, those things that we onceprayed for Amen, those things
that we once prayed for God tomove on that situation.
It seems like the devil hassnuffed out that desire that
(12:33):
it's ever going to come tofruition, amen.
But I come tonight to tellsomebody, amen, not to bury it.
Yet I said don't bury it yet,amen.
Your life may feel like amen,it's empty, amen.
Your life may feel like Amen,it's empty, amen, and there's no
purpose in living.
You may have been walkingthrough dry times and in dry
places, amen.
(12:53):
But I'm here to tell youtonight that there is a one Amen
that's come into this placetonight and he wants to speak,
live Into your situation.
He wants to speak, live Intoyour circumstance.
I said he wants to do what youthought would be impossible.
He wants to do it for youtonight.
(13:14):
Can you say amen, amen.
Life, it feels like, is just afew shovelfuls of dirt away from
having your very dreams andyour very dreams and your very
desires buried six feet under, never more to be remembered,
never to come out, never to comeinto fruition, amen.
(13:34):
That's where this Mary andMartha found themselves.
They found themselves in adreadful mess, much like you and
I find ourselves so often inlife.
Amen, their brother was sickand they had done all that they
could do.
No doubt they exhausted everyelement they could, every aspect
(13:55):
they could.
They had done all they could, brother Brandon.
They had spent all their money.
They had seen every doctor.
They got a second opinion and athird opinion, amen, no doubt
they did what they could, amen.
And yet here they are.
Amen, the master supposedlyloves them and they love the
master.
Oh, but you see, here in theword of God, they've done all
(14:19):
they could and yet the masterstill has not come and visited
their situation.
You see, in verse 6, the Biblesaid that when he had heard,
therefore, that he was sick, heabode Two days still In the same
place when he was.
God, what are you doing?
(14:39):
I thought that you loved me,lord.
I thought that you cared aboutwhere I was.
I thought that you seen theLord.
I thought that you cared aboutwhere I was.
I thought that you seen thesituation that I've been going
through and, Lord, you stillHaven't come on the scene.
I'm here to tell you tonight, brother and sister, amen, that
may be where you're at In yourlife today, amen, at the end of
(15:01):
your rope, feeling all alone, like there's no hope, like it's
never going to change.
God, where are you?
The heavens are shut up asbrass, amen.
And it feels like your prayers, amen.
They don't make it past theceiling.
And you've been walking throughthis trial and you've been
walking through thiscircumstance and, lord, where
(15:24):
are you?
Are you?
You know, brother and sister,amen.
I don't understand Everythingthere is in this, in this story.
We'll never understandEverything about God and why he
does things the way he does them.
Amen.
In our finite mind, we have anidea of the way we think that
things ought to go and oftentimes, brother Gerald, more
times than not, amen.
(15:45):
That's not the way we thinkthat things ought to go and
often times, brother Gerald, more times than not, amen.
That's not the way that Godsees it.
That's not the way that Goddoes it.
God works off of his own planand God works off of his own
time.
And though I may not be able tounderstand it, what he's doing,
amen.
But I'll understand it betterby and by.
I said I'll understand itbetter by and by.
(16:05):
I said I'll understand itbetter by and by.
But I'm here to tell youtonight, brother and sister,
sometimes God will wait To movein your situation Until he is
the only Explanation as in tohow it happened.
Amen to God.
Don't want to share his glory.
I said God doesn't want toshare his glory.
I said God doesn't want toshare his glory, amen.
(16:26):
I'm thankful for the doctors.
I'm thankful for those Amen inthe world that can help us in
our situations, amen.
But I'm here to tell youtonight, amen.
Sometimes God will wait.
Amen.
When the doctor can't help you, when the lawyer can't help you,
god will wait till you get intoa place To where there's no
other explanation how ithappened.
(16:48):
But God, I'm reminded.
In my mind, in my mind's eye, Ican see I was probably a little
bit younger than my boy, amen, being in my living room there at
the house I live in now.
I grew up in and I rememberseeing my grandpa pray for his
(17:08):
daddy, which would be my grandpawe called him Big Paw Paw It'd
be Sister Tammy's grandpa Amen, ate up with cancer tumors all up
and down his spine and he beganto talk to my grandfather on
the phone.
And I remember, in this livingroom room amen.
I could see it vividly in mymind as my grandpa began to talk
on the phone to his daddy andhis daddy began to tell him of
(17:32):
the grim diagnosis, amen, thathe received.
They told him Mr Maples, you'vegot tumors all up and down your
spine.
There's nothing we could do foryou.
Go home and get comfortable andlive the rest of your life the
best way that you can.
And my grandpa I remember, as hewas in that kitchen there on
(17:53):
that phone, he said well, daddy, that's what the doctor says,
but we're going to see what Godsays about it.
And he began to start prayingfor my great grandpa and the
power of God come down in thatlittle house.
And I remember my grandfathertelling him Daddy, go back and
get a second opinion, amen.
The Spirit of God came down.
(18:15):
And, if I can remembercorrectly, I believe that the
call dropped and he called himback and he said Daddy, the
devil hung the phone up becausehe don't want you to get your
healing.
He said but I'm gonna prayagain.
He got to praying again and hesaid daddy, I felt a healing
virtue flow through my body andthrough this phone and touch you
(18:37):
.
He said, I believe with all ofmy heart that you've been healed
.
And my great grandpa said, bubby, while you were praying, did
you hear what I heard?
He said what was that, daddy?
He said while you were praying,I heard a voice through this
phone, as you begin to speak inother tongues.
And that voice said I am theLord, god that healeth thee.
(19:01):
I said I'm here to tell youtonight.
You may be looking at a grimsituation.
You may be looking like it'sall hopeless, like all hope is
gone, but I'm here to tell youtonight there's a God that is
looking to breathe life intoyour situation.
Whoa, I feel the Holy Ghost inthis house.
(19:25):
I am the Lord, god that healeththee.
What do you have need oftonight?
Is it a sickness in your body?
Is it a sickness in the mind?
(19:47):
You know, a lot of times we comein those doors and we live
behind a facade.
We live behind a glass mirror,so to speak, behind a wall.
Amen, we've given thatperception of how we want people
to think we really are, butdeep down inside, we're hurting
(20:10):
and we're broken and we'rehaving mind and our family's not
doing the way we feel like theyshould do.
We have children that arewayward and lost away from God.
Amen.
So many times we're lost andwe're hurting.
Amen.
Well, I'm here to tell youtonight, amen.
You're not hiding it from theLord.
You may be hiding it from theone that's beside you, amen.
(20:32):
But there is comfort in knowingthat, even though we may be
able to hide how we feel fromour spouse, we may be able to
hide how we feel from the onethat's sitting next to us.
There's an almighty God inheaven that sits high and he
looks low and he governs theaffairs of men and he cares
about you today.
(20:52):
I said he cares about you today, and it may seem like your
situation is looking bleak anddark, but I'm here to tell you
tonight that the Lord is wantingto speak life into you.
I said the Lord is wanting tospeak life into your situation.
You see, that's where they foundthemselves, this Mary and
(21:12):
Martha.
Oh God, I could only, I couldonly imagine how they felt.
Here he is God, my brotherLazarus.
I love him so much, so dearly, jesus, and he loved you and I
know you loved him.
But, god, where are you?
Lord, I don't understand whyyou're allowing it to get to
(21:34):
this place.
God, I don't understand whyyou've allowed Lazarus to get to
this point, where he is aboutto die, and that may be where
you are here tonight.
You say God, I don't understandwhy I'm going through this mess
.
God, I don't understand why I'mgoing through this circumstance
, why I'm going through thistrial.
Oh, my God and my Lord.
(21:57):
Even though they were stuck, brother and sister, in the
middle of a dreadful mess, thedifference was they knew the
master, amen.
The difference was they knewthe master.
And I'm here to tell youtonight, though you may be in
the middle of a dreadful mess,oh, the Bible says that it rains
on the just and the unjustalike.
(22:18):
You see, if those people in theworld, brother Frankie, a lot
of times the devil will give theperception Like everybody in
the world's got everything puttogether, amen, like they've got
it all together, as Asaph said,my steps had well not slipped.
But then, when I come into thehouse of the Lord, it was there
that my eyes were open and Iunderstood the end thereof.
(22:41):
I'm here to tell you tonightAmen.
The Bible says it rains on thejust and the unjust alike.
I'm here to tell you tonight Ifyou live for God, you're going
to go through trouble.
If you don't live for God,you're going to go through
trouble.
So if I've got to live In themiddle of this dreadful mess, if
I've got to try to wade throughthe middle of this dreadful
(23:03):
mess, I'd rather do it knowingthe Lord.
The answer is not to turnaround and go back Just because
the Lord hasn't worked it outjust the way you thought he
ought to.
A lot of times the devil willsay well, he don't love you, god
don't love you.
(23:23):
If he did, he wouldn't have letit happen in this manner.
That's where they were.
But even though they were stuckin the middle of this dreadful
mess, even though they didn'tunderstand why God was doing,
why Jesus was doing what he wasdoing and how he was doing it,
(23:44):
the assurance was amen, thatthey knew Him.
Amen.
Romans, chapter 8 and verse 31.
What shall we then say to thesethings?
If God be for us, who can beagainst us?
He that spared not his own sonbut delivered him up for us all?
(24:04):
How shall he not, with him, also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay anything to thecharge of God's elect?
It is God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth?
It is Christ that died, yea, rather that is risen again, who
is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession
(24:24):
for us?
Notice this who shall separateus from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation or distressor persecution or famine, or
nakedness or peril or sword, asit is written For thy sake, we
are killed all the day long.
We are accounted as sheep forthe slaughter Nay.
(24:46):
In all these things we are morethan conquerors, through Him
that loved us.
For I am persuaded, amen.
When the devil says that God isso far away from you, amen,
remember this, for I ampersuaded that neither death nor
life, nor angels, norprincipalities, nor powers, nor
(25:10):
things present nor things tocome, nor height nor depth, nor
any creature shall be able toseparate us From the love of God
, which is Christ Jesus, ourLord.
When the devil tells you Amen, that God is a million miles away
, I say devil.
(25:30):
I beg to differ, though God mayhave not have showed up and he
may have not have moved on thescene Just like I wanted him to.
As the old song says, when he'sfour days late, he's still on
time.
I said when he's four days late, he's still on time.
You know, the devil wants todestroy your dreams and bury
(25:53):
them, much like he did Lazarus.
But Jesus is wanting to speaklife to your situation.
Jesus is wanting to roll thatstone back and speak life to
your situation.
And if you and I will do likeMary and Martha did you say,
preacher, I got a mess tonightin my life Well, if we'll do as
(26:16):
Mary and Martha and we will givethat mess of ours to the master
, then you too can receive amiracle, just as they did.
You read John, chapter 11 in theremaining scriptures of our
text.
The Bible said in verse 38, andJesus therefore, again groaning
in Himself, cometh to the grave.
(26:38):
It was a cave and a stone layupon it and Jesus said Take ye
away the stone.
Martha, the sister of him thatwas dead, saith unto him, lord,
by this time he stinketh, for hehath been dead four days.
And Jesus saith unto her, saidI not unto thee that if thou
(27:01):
wouldest believe, you see there.
That is where the difference inour situation hinges.
If we'll only believe, he saidif thou wouldest believe, thou
shouldest see the glory of God.
And then they took the stoneaway from the place where the
dead was laid and Jesus liftedup his eyes and said Father, I
(27:21):
thank thee that thou hast heardme, and I knew that thou hearest
me always.
But because of these peoplewhich stand by, I said it that
they may believe that thou hastsent me.
And when he thus had spoken, hecried with a loud voice Lazarus
, come forth.
(27:42):
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot, with
grave clothes, and his face wasbound about with a napkin.
And Jesus said unto them loosehim and let him go.
I'm here to tell you tonight.
You may have come into thatdoor, amen, staring at that
stone of doubt and unbelief.
(28:03):
And it's laid upon that grave, where your Lazarus is laying,
where your situation is layingAmen, where that prodigal son is
laying, where that promise islaying Amen, where God said what
he would do for you is layingamen.
But the devil's got it buried, amen.
I'm here to tell you tonight.
What we need to do, amen, isroll that stone back, roll back
(28:27):
that stone of doubt, roll backthat stone of unbelief and let
the Lord speak, lie into yoursituation.
I'm here to tell you tonightdon't bury it yet.
I said don't bury it yet.
Give it to the master and lethim turn your mess into a
miracle In studying for thismessage.
(28:50):
You know this scripture hereTalking about how Lazarus come
forth.
This phenomenon was so great,amen.
It impacted, amen, all ofhistory.
So great, this miracle thatJesus did.
We have a modern day, a modernday classification in the
(29:15):
medical world, known as theLazarus syndrome.
This Lazarus syndrome is afailure of auto-resuscitation.
Let's see as anauto-resuscitation after failed
cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
It is a spontaneous return of anormal cardiac rhythm after
(29:39):
failed attempts at resuscitation.
It is a spontaneous return of anormal cardiac rhythm after
failed attempts at resuscitation.
It is also used to refer to thespontaneous return of the
cardiac activity after thepatient has been pronounced dead
.
Its occurrence has been notedin medical literature at least
38 times since 1982.
And it takes its name fromLazarus who, according to the
(30:01):
New Testament account, wasraised from the dead by this man
named Jesus.
And as I got to looking intosome of these accounts, I'm
going to read a few of them toyou.
This first one that I read itwas of a 27-year-old man in the
United Kingdom who collapsedafter overdosing on heroin and
cocaine.
(30:21):
Paramedics gave him a shot ofnaloxone injection and he
recovered enough to walk to theambulance.
He went into cardiac arrest intransit.
After 25 minutes ofresuscitation efforts, the
patient was verbally declareddead.
In about a minute ofresuscitation efforts, the
patient was verbally declareddead and about a minute after
resuscitation ended, a nursenoticed a rhythm on the heart
(30:44):
monitor and resuscitation wasresumed and the patient
recovered fully.
I also read of a 66-year-oldman suffering from a suspected
abdominal aneurysm, sufferedcardiac arrest and received
chest compressions anddefibrillation shots for 17
minutes during treatment for hiscondition.
(31:05):
Vital signs did not return.
The patient was declared deadand resuscitation efforts ended.
10 minutes later, the surgeonfelt a pulse and the aneurysm
was successfully treated and thepatient fully recovered, with
no lasting physical orneurological problems.
(31:26):
Amen, anthony Yale, 37 inBellbrook, ohio, was breathing
abnormally at 4 am on August the5th 2013 and could not be woken
.
After finding that Gail had nopulse, first responders
administered CPR and were ableto retrieve a stable enough
heartbeat to transport him tothe emergency room, and later
(31:50):
that afternoon, he againsuffered cardiac arrest for 45
minutes at Kettering MedicalCenter and was pronounced dead.
After all efforts toresuscitate him failed.
And when his son arrived at thehospital to visit his supposed
to be deceased father, henoticed a heartbeat on the
(32:11):
monitor that was still attachedto his father and resuscitation
efforts were resumed and yalewas successfully revived.
And I like this one.
This is the record amen up tothis present day.
Velma thomas, 59, of nitro, westvirginia, holds the record time
for recovering from clinicaldeath.
(32:32):
In may of 2008, thomas wentinto cardiac arrest at her home
and medics were able toestablish A faint pulse After
eight minutes of CPR.
Her heart stopped twice Afterarriving at the hospital and she
was placed on life support.
Doctors attempted to lower herbody temperature To prevent
(32:53):
additional brain injury.
She was declared clinicallydead for 17 hours After doctors
failed to detect brain activity.
Her son, tim Thomas, statedthat her skin had already
started hardening.
Her hands and her toes werecurling up.
They were already drawn and shewas taken off life support and
(33:15):
funeral arrangements were inprogress.
However, ten minutes afterbeing taken Off of life support,
she revived and recovered 17hours.
That was the record that anybodyhas been Notated dead and was
brought back to life by thehands of man.
(33:35):
But I read in our scripture howthere was a man that had been
dead and was brought back tolife by the hands of man.
But I read in our scripture howthere was a man that had been
dead For four days and the Biblesaid that when the stone was
rolled away, jesus spoke life.
He said Lazarus, come forth.
I said Lazarus, come forth.
And Lazarus came out of thatgrave and he said loose him, him
(33:57):
, and let him go.
And you may be looking at ableak situation.
It may have been a long time, but I'm here to tell you tonight
that my God, he specializes inthings that are thought
impossible.
Though it may have seemed likethere was no hope, god is here
tonight To speak life To yoursituation.
(34:19):
The Lord has sent me heretonight To tell you Don't bury
it yet.
Stand all over the house.
You know exactly what it isthat I'm talking about tonight.
(34:40):
I've been pretty plain andpretty vague Because I felt like
I didn't have to go too farinto it, because you know.
You know what you've beenlooking at.
You know those insurmountableodds, those things in your life
that You've been praying for, ohGod, those things, god, he's my
(35:07):
brother, I love him, but he'ssick, lord, and he's died.
How could you let him die?
What is your Lazarus heretonight, sister Georgia the
devil, let him die.
What is your Lazarus heretonight, sister Georgia, the
devil wants to tell you thatyour Lazarus has been dead too
long, that them boys that knowbetter than the way they've been
living, that they're nevergoing to come back.
(35:28):
They're never going to comeback to what they know.
But I'm here to tell youtonight, sister Georgia, I felt
in prayer tonight the Lord.
I was kneeling right there andthe Lord put you on my heart to
tell you don't bury it.
Yet.
I said don't bury it yet.
Oh, there's some of you beenpraying about some things for
such a long time.
Haley, you was on my heart too.
I come to tell you tonightdon't bury it.
(35:50):
Yet.
You've been praying about somethings.
You've been praying for somethings to happen in your life.
You've been praying and itseems like there's no hope.
And Lazarus, he's been dead forfour days and it seems like all
hope is lost.
But I'm here to tell youtonight we need to roll that
stone of doubt and unbelief awayfrom the grave, where that
promise is laying.
(36:10):
Jesus said this sickness is notunto death, and I believe what
the Lord said.
I don't understand why he'sdoing what he's doing and how
he's doing it.
I don't understand it.
But, lord, I trust you.
I said, lord, I trust you andif you said, this sickness is
not unto death, though it maylook like it's dead, though it
may look like it's hopeless, I'mgoing to believe you, lord, and
(36:31):
I'm going to roll back thatstone and I'm going to allow you
to breathe life into mysituation.
What about it here tonight, sister Breeland, if you could
help us on the music?
Oh, I felt it here today, asthe pastor asked us yesterday to
be ready, and I immediatelystarted going to the Lord in
(36:56):
prayer and meditating.
Lord, what do you want me togive to our people?
God, I'm not up here for a paton the back.
I told the Lord that's standingright there tonight.
I said, god, it wouldn't behard to go very far to find a
preacher better than me.
But, lord, my ultimate desireis to see our people get help.
(37:17):
God, we've got people that arehurting.
We've got people that are downand out and discouraged and
they're on the verge of losingall hope.
Lord, they're walking throughdry places.
They've been staring at thatstone for too long.
God, they need you to move andI believe the Lord laid this on
my heart.
I don't doubt it one bit.
I'm still a young preacher, butI've been in this a long time.
(37:39):
I've been in it long enough toknow when the Lord lays
something on your heart, you gowith it.
I'm here to tell you tonightthat, if it may just be for one
person and I'm all right withthat if it changes your heart,
if it changes your outlook, ifit changes your outlook, if it
changes your perception and youget encouraged Amen, I'm going
to trust God, I'm going to rollback that stone of doubt and
(38:00):
unbelief and I'm going to letthe Lord breathe life into my
situation.
I believe it with all of myheart.
You can leave out of this placedifferently, my God.
I feel the Holy Ghost in thisplace.
If you'll just give it to Godand you'll say, give it to God
and you'll say, lord, I trustyou, I believe you, god, I
believe in what you're doing.
And if you said it's not untodeath, I believe it, lord.
(38:22):
And as Job said, yea, thoughyou slay me yet will I trust you
, god?
I don't understand, but I knowthat when I come through the
fire, I'm going to be as puregold and that promise is going
to live again.
I said that promise is going tolive again.
Lord, I'm not going to bury ityet.
What about it?
(38:48):
Tonight?
I have relinquished the burdenof my heart.
Offer myself myself onto you.
The ball is in your court, soto speak.
I believe with all of my heartthat it is God's ultimate desire
(39:14):
.
It is God's ultimate desire Tosee life be breathed back into
that situation that Lazarus inyour life.
I know it hurts, oh God.
(39:37):
I know how it hurts, oh God.
I know how it feels.
I can't tell you exactly howyou feel, but I know how it
feels to be let down.
In life we all have, we've allfaced heartbreak.
We've all faced situationswhere we said, lord, I don't
(39:57):
understand and I don't know whythis is happening like this.
Lord, if you'd have been here,my brother Hazard, he wouldn't
have died.
I'm here to encourage someoneto know you just need to keep
trusting the Lord, because theLord said this sickness is not
(40:19):
unto death, but that the Lordmay be glorified.
Brother Nelson, a lot of timeswe don't understand why we go
through what we go through.
Some things we'll neverunderstand.
But, god, I'm going to trustyou.
(40:40):
Lord, you know that stone thatwas rolled there.
God didn't put that stone upagainst that grave.
Brother Gerald Men did.
A lot of times, when ourLazarus is dead and buried and
we feel like it's hopeless, weput that stone over the door.
(41:01):
Jesus told him, brother Brandon, he said, roll that stone back
and you see something.
You see that there is a needfor our action in that right
there.
There's some things Jesus can'tdo for us.
There's some things that Jesuscan't.
Jesus could have spoke toLazarus and Lazarus could have
(41:23):
walked through that stone doorjust as he caught him back from
the dead.
But you see, that stone that hadbeen rolled there, that stone
of doubt and unbelief, the Lordunderstood.
A lot of times in our life weroll that stone up against the
grave, that stone of doubt andunbelief, and the Lord can't
(41:44):
work through that doubt and thatunbelief.
It's until we roll it back andwe get it out of the way and we
say, lord, forgive me fordoubting you, forgive me for
ever doubting you, forgive mefor doubting you, forgive me for
ever doubting you, forgive mefor not trusting you.
Lord, but God, I don'tunderstand what you're doing or
how you're going to do it.
But, lord, I'm going to rollthis stone back and that's what
(42:05):
you need to do here tonight.
Maybe the reason why youhaven't seen it just yet is the
Lord is waiting on you to rollthat stone of doubt, that stone
of unbelief, out of the way.
So he's got something to workwith.
He can't work through ourunbelief, he can't work through
our doubt.
But he told the sisters he saidif thou wouldest believe, he
(42:26):
said you're going to see amiracle, you're going to see the
glory of God.
And I'm here to tell youtonight.
I know you may be weak, you maybe downtrodden, cast down and
broken hearted, but if you canmuster up the strength to say
Lord, I'm going to roll back thestone of doubt, I'm going to
roll back the stone of unbelief.
(42:47):
God, I trust you.
Lord, even though my Lazarus hasbeen dead four days, I believe.
I believe I believe your wordand you said this sickness is
not unto death, but that the sonof God may be glorified.
I believe it's going to come tofruition.
I believe life is going to bespoken into my situation.
(43:12):
You believe that tonight thesealtars are open as they begin to
play and sing.
Are you interested in the Lordbreathing life into that dry
place you've been living in?
Are you interested in the Lordspeaking life to that Lazarus
that you've been looking at.
They're rotting and decayingfor so long now.
(43:32):
Are you interested in the Lordspeaking life to it tonight?
Would you move towards thealtar?
Would you move towards thealtar?
I know we all have needs, Iknow we all have circumstances,
things that we're going through.
Amen, could you bring it to Godhere tonight and tell the Lord?
Lord, I'm not going to bury ityet, I'm not going to give up on
(43:52):
it, but, god, I'm going totrust you.
Lord, I'm not going to give upon it, but, god, I'm going to
trust you.
Lord, I'm going to trust you.
Lord, I'm going to lean, not tomy own understanding, but in
all of my ways I'm going toacknowledge you and you shall
direct my path.
Lord, I don't understand why itis that it has to be like this,
but, god, I trust you, lord, lord, I don't understand what
(44:14):
you're doing, but I trust you.
Lord, don't understand whatyou're doing, but I trust you.
Lord, I'm not going to bury ityet.
I'm not going to give up on it,lord, but I'm going to believe
that you're going to speed lifeinto my situation.
Go ahead, sister.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
I never said that I
would give you silver.
Come on church, Come on church, come on Pour your heart out to
the Lord tonight.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
He knows and he cares
where you are.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
He sees where you're
at tonight.
The Lord's wanting to speaklife into your situation.
Speaker 3 (44:53):
I've come to tell
somebody tonight don't bury it,
yet God's about to turn thingsaround.
I believe it standing on theauthority of God's word.
I believe it that this sicknessis not unto death, but.
God's going to get the gloryout of this.
God's going to work it all outfor our good.
(45:17):
You may not be able to see itright now, you may not be able
to feel it, but I believe thatGod is working all things out.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
Don't bury it yet.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
Don't give up on it
yet.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
Believe God, trust in
the Lord, have faith in God.
Speaker 3 (45:37):
Never doubt, never
waver.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
I'll always tell you
to try Cause you know I made a
promise and I intend to keep.
My grace will be sufficient andevery time of need, my love
will be the anchor that you canhold on to.
(45:59):
This is the promise.
This is the promise I made toyou, oh so just keep on walking,
don't turn to the left or rightand in the midst of darkness,
(46:23):
let this be your light, thathell can separate us, and we're
going to make it through.
This is a promise.
Through this is a promise.
This is a promise I made to you.
(46:44):
Oh, so, just keep on walking, don't turn to the left or right
and, in the midst of darkness, let this be your life.
Then hell can separate us, andwe're going to make it through.
(47:05):
This is a promise.
This is a promise.
This is a promise.
I made to you, hallelujah I madeto you.
I never said that friends wouldnever Turn their backs on you
or that the world around youWould see you as a fool, but I
(47:31):
did feel like me.
You'll surely be despised.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
I'm going to believe
for a miracle God.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
I'm going to give
this mess to you, lord, and in
return, I'm going to see amiracle.
Speaker 4 (48:07):
