spit the holes out that youdidn't get out and take care of
the rest of it.
Amen, amen.
My wife and me used to.
(01:12):
Of course, we've traveled foryears, but when we were alive
and lived, she was alive and welived down here and we were used
to fresh seafood Fresh shrimp, oysters, crabs.
(01:33):
We'd be off up Are y'all tapingthis, oh God.
We'd be off somewhere inanother part of the world and
they'd say, oh, let's go eatseafood.
(01:55):
My wife would cut her eyes atme with that kind of you know.
I'd say do you all like seafood?
I'd say, yeah, we love seafood.
Oh, have you ever ate at LongJohn Silver's?
I'd start to say have you everate at Bozo's?
Amen.
(02:20):
Have you ever ate at Wenzel's?
Have you ever?
I could name several places, including my wife and a lot of
other good, sanctified women'sfood and groceries and whatever.
And we'd get away from them.
Oh, they'd talk about how greatit was and one of them would
say to the other one they justdon't know, do they?
(02:41):
And they don't, they don't andthey just don't know, do they
and they don't, they don't.
Little boy was quoting the 23rdPsalm.
Trying to that was his part inthe program.
He stepped up to the podiumlike little boys used to do.
(03:02):
That's when boysaz was Boaz,boaz wasn't Susie.
And little boy, he stepped up,quote 23rd Psalm.
Of course, the way we used todo it when we were little boys.
You'd put your hands behind youand you'd stand.
(03:22):
Y'all can't see Like thisLittle fellas.
Step somebody up and quote the23rd Psalm.
Step somebody up and look ateverybody.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
The Lord is, the Lord
is, the Lord is a the.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Lord is a.
He gave me a snicker.
Yep, I can mic that guy.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
The.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Lord is my a is a by
then they really really got
tickled.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
He stepped back up
and he said the Lord is my
shepherd.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
He's all I want.
Oh my God.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Wouldn't it be
wonderful if the world really
felt that way?
In fact, I believe it would bereally really good if most of
the churches felt that way.
In fact, I believe it'd bereally really good if most of
the churches felt that way.
Amen.
Well, I'm wrestling tonight.
I'll be honest with you and Ihope I don't do like a young
preacher up at Wetopka someyears ago.
(04:43):
He got up and was in afellowship meeting up there and
they put him up and he preachedan hour and a half and then he
said folks, I'm sorry I got thewrong message.
I hope for an hour and a half.
So we know that it is Praisethe Lord.
I certainly love your pastorand his family and a lot of you
(05:05):
that I've known over the yearsAppreciate you so much.
Appreciate Brother Stork,brother Marston, georgia,
letting us stay with them.
I wanted to come down here.
I wanted to come and see all ofyou Different ones, including
Brother Johnson.
I was talking to him about gladto see me.
I said, yeah, I'm glad to seeeven an undertaker, because if
(05:30):
I'm looking at him I ain't doingbusiness with him.
It's that one.
Didn't he do a good job?
Don't he look natural?
I believe he looks better thanlast time.
He looks dead to me.
Praise God.
It's wonderful to live for theLord.
(05:59):
It's blessed, are they that diein the Lord, and people like
Brother Mike Roberts that I'veknown for years and years, and
others that's gone on, includingmy wife, that it come time and
they did cross into the eternalworld.
(06:22):
So the good Spirit of God comeby, witnessed my wife's funeral.
My neighbor, I have twoneighbors.
They're the best neighbors inthe world.
I wish you all had neighbors asgood as mine.
One of them, on the right side,is a Methodist, the one on the
left side is a Baptist and thehusband of the one on the left
(06:45):
she's a Baptist and feedsanything Anyway, but as far as
being good to me good, they'rejust so good to me.
And my one on the right that'sa Methodist, is one of the most
dedicated or consecrated persons.
(07:05):
However you want to say it, I'lltell you one thing you go out
and get in that car and you getin that car and I told Brother
Stork and them that.
I said every time you get inthe car, I don't care if you go
into town.
I said, let's pray and we startfishing.
Let's pray, get in the car togo out and eat, let's pray.
And they were so kind to usthrough my wife's situation and
(07:29):
problem, and even with mine whenI was in such bad shape and not
able to even take up prayermeeting at the church.
He'd cut my grass, he'd takecare of our flowers my wife was
beginning to get a little feebleat that particular time and his
wife would help at the houseand take care of the house and
fix and provide for us.
(07:51):
So when my wife passed away andof course they were close to my
children and to us, my wife'sfuneral, it got high.
Brother, being all good, themgot singing.
Different ones got singing and, being all good, them got to
singing.
Different ones got to singingand quite a few people there and
of course the Holy Ghost beganto fall and began to move
through that place and peoplebegan to shout and old Roger
(08:14):
sitting up there on the frontseat with several of the
wholeness folks, and that wasPaul Barris, and they got up and
got clapping.
He got up and got clapping withthem.
He got clapping with them.
He got clapping with them andafter it was over with, he told
Belle his wife.
He said Now, belle, that's thekind of funeral I want.
She said You're going to haveto live a whole lot better than
you live in to have one likethat, and so, but I'm certainly
(08:41):
honored and glad appreciategetting to be here.
I love the Johnson family, notjust only your pastor, his
brother, daddy and all the restof them, I just I do.
They've been my friends formany years, a lot of them.
We had some good times together, haven't we?
We've had some good timestogether and I just appreciate
(09:01):
God's people so much and I thankyou for your prayers.
It's different when you don'thave your helpmate there.
It's different, it's different.
(09:22):
Would you help me there?
It's different, it's differentand I'm not.
You know, sometimes we need tojust hear some things.
And the pastor talked to usabout David encouraging himself
in the Lord and I said man, thatis.
(09:46):
And he didn't let what happenedjust make him go, stick his
head in the ashes and say that'sit, I quit, I give up.
I've been out doing the will ofGod and working and I've been
trying to serve God ever since Iwas a little boy.
Look what happened to me.
Why did this happen to me?
Look, I sang about God.
I talk about God, I worship Godand I give God the glory.
(10:06):
And look what's happening.
And sometimes, in things likethis, god turns it around to get
glory for Himself, amen, amen.
And so just because bad thingshappen to us, we're not exempted
from it.
I don't care how saved you are.
And yet, at the same time, weknow that we've got one that's
(10:31):
going to be with us and we cantrust him and we know he's still
the master of every situation.
And so we just have thesethings.
And I'd like to, just if Icould, and I thought I had
something to preach, but reallyI'd love to leave you with some
(10:56):
modern day, if that would be anappropriate term to use, or some
things.
You know, we talk about itnothing in the world wrong with
it about what happened backyonder, and in fact I'm
preaching a lot.
Was you there at the year thatthey done that thing on Joanna
(11:16):
and me at the Preacher'sConference up there at Pigeon
Ford?
I was on Oshkin 24-7.
Wasn't even supposed to bethere.
If you don't know the wholefact about it, my doctor, which
is a woman and been our doctorfor years, for joining me and
(11:37):
they had contacted us and theywanted us to come.
Well, I wasn't even able totake up prayer requests at the
church there at Jersey where I'dbeen going for 21 years, and I
wasn't even able to take upprayer requests.
I wasn't even able to talk onthe phone.
(11:57):
I could barely whisper, justI'm glad to see you, and I was
on Oshkin.
From my house to my mailbox is125 steps.
I don't know how many times Istepped that 125 steps to my
mailbox.
I had to stop on 125 steps, stop and rest, walk on to the
(12:21):
mailbox and get my mail and I'dhold on to the mailbox and get
my breath, get up enough andwalk some, stop, walk some and
stop.
But when I seen those sheep outthere, immediately I thought
about it.
There was sheep out there.
(12:43):
Immediately I thought about it.
I said I was at that preacher'sconference and they had asked us
to say something and they werehonoring Joanne and I and my
doctor had given me somemedicine.
I don't know what it is, butshe said only one time.
I said I will not do it again.
(13:04):
The only reason I'm going to doit is so you can go to this
conference, to this preacher'smeeting.
I'm going to do that for you,but I shouldn't, medically I
could get in trouble.
And I told her.
I said, linda, don't worry, myfamily won't do nothing to you.
Whatever, I'm responsible.
Anyway, she did it.
So when I got there that Icould take this and it would
(13:24):
help me enough that I'd be able, with my Hodgkin and whatever,
to talk a little bit.
All right, brother Larry Landers, a missionary to Mexico I don't
know if any of you, maybe allof you know him come to me and
told me about his mom that hadbeen on Oshkin for 20 years
(13:49):
totally and I was on Oshkin atthree liters and his mom was on
seven liters and she'd been onand this doctor right on the
border of Mexico in Yuma andshe'd been on and this doctor
right on the border of Mexico inYuma.
They had heard about him andshe didn't have anything.
There wasn't nothing else couldbe done for her.
(14:11):
They took her there the secondtreatment.
She would totally come off anoxygen and started and she went
in a wheelchair but she was ablenow to walk and be off oxygen.
Well, you know how it is.
If I've got a knee problem, somebody knows how to heal it.
I mean, if I've got an ankleproblem.
(14:33):
Somebody will tell you.
If you've got cancer, they knowwhat to heal it.
I'm sorry if I'm sounding alittle pessimistic, but I've
found a lot of that.
Everybody got a solution.
So I just figured I'd throwthat in the bucket with
everybody else.
I said, eh, there ain't nothingto that, you know, I know that.
Well, as we go on, of course, and I come back home and that
(14:58):
trip really took its toll on me,even with my oxygen, and that
what the doctor had done.
In fact, as quick as themeeting was coming to a close, I
had to go to bed.
Several weeks went on.
My children knew about it.
Their mom told them about itand they said to her, talked
about it, and they said to me mydaughter-in-law said Papa, why
(15:21):
don't you go down there and trythat?
Doctor?
I've been in the Lung Institutein Tampa.
I'd been down there three timestaking stem cells from Tampa
and I'd come up, maybe on ascale of one to ten, I'd come up
maybe two and stay up like thatfor about three or four days a
week, back down to zero.
(15:44):
No, I ain't going to do that.
I ain't going to do that.
I ain't going to do that.
Well now, I dreamed that I wentand had that treatment and it
worked.
So my daughter-in-law said well, papa, what have you got to
lose?
What about it?
(16:04):
Why don't you try it to lose?
What about it?
Why don't you try it?
I'll think about it.
And I had this dream.
My oldest daughter, vicki, andher husband said Daddy, if
you'll go, we will take you.
I'll take off work, we'll takeoff, we'll take you.
Johnny and Doug said we'll paythe bill if you'll go and try it
.
Well, what you got to lose?
Sinking man, a couple ofwater-eyed boots, that much less
(16:28):
.
That you take that much longer.
Okay, we go down there and Imeet with this doctor Of course
I'd sent him all the reports tohim, medical reports and
whatever and went in to see him.
I was on an oxygen, of course, and I was talking like this and
(16:48):
he told me he said you're goingto be talking normal in 30 to 40
minutes and breathing withoutthat oxygen.
And I thought to myself youdon't know what you're talking
about.
Brother Thomas Smith, which wasour pastor at that time, would
tell people don't go talk withBrother Neal, don't bother him
if I've got to come to churchBecause he is not able to talk.
(17:12):
And of course, in case you alldon't know it, I like to talk.
One fellow told me.
He said you sure do talk a lot.
And I said I get paid for it.
What's your excuse?
I get paid for it, what's yourexcuse?
So I said, hmm, well, I get inthere and he tells me what we're
(17:33):
going to do.
And of course I told him I saidnow look.
And of course now you've got toremember I'm talking like this.
I don't believe I'm a preacher.
I don't believe in fetus stemcells.
He said we don't do stem cells, let's feed his stem cells.
(17:54):
I don't believe in them.
Let me just jump a little bitahead of myself, if I could, and
then I'll come back and maybepick up the rest of it.
But I'm here tonight because oftwo lambs.
The Lamb of God that blotted outmy sins and saved me by the
(18:16):
grace of God and made me what Iam, and by that Lamb, that Lamb
of the first foal, of the firstLamb, of that ewe that died, and
the stem cells from that lamb, injected into my chest and my
lungs, brought me out and I'mhere tonight.
Hayo, silver glory.
Speaker 5 (18:40):
Thank God, yeah, yeah
.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Oh, he said we don't
use.
We don't use.
He said the sheep's blood isthe nearest to the human blood.
Of anything.
It is a foreign object.
In case you wondered about it,it is.
But then do you grow bread orcorn in your body or do you take
(19:05):
in a foreign object called corn?
Do you grow rice in your bodyor do you take in a foreign
object?
That's medically.
If any of you are medicallyhere, explain to me that you can
take in rice and it will beconverted to sugar and converted
into energy, corn and etc.
And so forth and on.
It's a foreign object but itgives you strength and it brings
(19:26):
you out.
And he said this stem cell fromthe lamb of the first year, now,
not the second year that youher first lamb, and only Do you
remember the first begotten.
Do you remember Mary'sfirstborn?
(19:47):
Do you remember John saidBehold the Lamb of God that
taketh away the sin of the world.
I'll tell you why I'm heretonight because there was a lamb
that come and took the place.
Do you remember the lamb thatgot them out of Egypt when they
had been there for 400,approximately 30 years?
And yet the blood of that lambon the door portion on the
(20:08):
lintel, when death come marchingdown through there.
He couldn't touch them becausethey had the blood of the lamb
and they were behind the blood.
And the reason the night thatwe have this blessed hope that
we have of the eternal life overearth.
Tonight that we have thisblessed hope that we have of
eternal life over earth, thetabernacle, this house, be
dissolved.
We have one eternal and theheavens not made with hand,
whereon we're grown.
It might be that we may leavethis tabernacle, but we're going
(20:32):
to live on Hallelujah.
Speaker 5 (20:35):
That old song said I
live on, I live on In all
eternity.
I live on, thank God.
Eternity, I live on, thank God.
Why is it so?
Because of the Lamb.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Thank God for the Lamb.
I'll tell you what it takes.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
It don't take shaking
the preacher's hand.
It don't take joining thechurch.
It takes the blood of the Lambto blot out your sins and to do
away with your sins.
And it takes the blood of theLamb to blot out your sins and
to do away with your sins.
And because of the blood ofthis Lamb he's able to save unto
the uttermost, all them thatcome unto God by Him.
They said he's dead, yeah, buthe rose.
Speaker 5 (21:11):
And not only that
he's alive and alive forevermore
he has ascended on high and ledcaptivity.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
He said to the
captive he said, come here
captive Captive Come a trembleand said wait a minute, wait a
minute.
He said come here.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
You see, he has all
power and all authority.
He can speak to death, anddeath has to back up.
He can speak to the cripple, and the cripple has to walk.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
He can speak to the
sea and the sea has to come.
Speaker 5 (21:38):
Everything that he
says has to obey, obey.
Him.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
Hallelujah, I'm
telling you he's the Savior of
man, he's the Redeemer of man,he's the Lamb of God, he's our
redemption.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
He's our propitiation
, he's our mediator, he's our
high priest.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
He's the Lord of
lords, the King of kings and our
soon coming King.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
Oh hallelujah.
Thank God for the Lamb of Godthat taketh away the sin of the
world.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
There is therefore
now no condemnation to them that
are in Christ Jesus, who walknot after the flesh but after
the Spirit, for the law of theSpirit of Christ Jesus has made
me free from the law of sin anddeath.
Speaker 5 (22:19):
Oh, wretched man that
I was.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
Woo.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
I don't know how you
felt about your sins, but I know
how I felt about mine.
Paul called himself and he wasreligious.
He was a Pharisee of Pharisees, but he said I was the chief of
sinners.
Speaker 5 (22:39):
A lamb Praise God
Many times when.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
I'm praying, I'll say
it this way.
I'll say oh God, our heavenlyFather, I thank you for sending
your Son as a lamb for us tosave us.
Amen.
And because of the Lamb of Godand the Son of God and because
of your Son and our Savior, weare saved because of the Lamb of
God and the Son of God andbecause of your Son and our
Savior, we are saved because ofthe Lamb, praise God.
(23:07):
I got there and of course, I gotto try and talk to that doctor
and he said now I'm going to putthese stem cells and for you
that are medical, and maybe allof you, I don't hardly know how
to give aspirin.
Don't trust me on medicine.
I don't know nothing about itmuch, do I tell you?
Oh yeah, if I get a headacheI'll rebuke it with aspirin, but
(23:31):
I'm not medically inclined, ifthat should be any way to put it
.
But him telling me, he saidyou're going to be talking in 30
to 40 minutes, breathingperfectly Without jostling.
I thought to myself man, youdon't know what you're talking
about.
And we began to converse and Isaid, okay, what kind of lamb?
(23:51):
He said the lamb of the firstyear.
I said, yeah.
I said what kind of stem cells?
He said a lamb stem cell.
I said, well, there's a.
What kind of stem cells?
He said a lamb stem cell.
I said, well, there's a lambthat shed his blood for my
salvation.
Really, I said yeah, I said I'mhere today because of a lamb.
(24:14):
He said you've already beenthrough it.
I said no way.
Before I got here there wasanother lamb.
But I said he come from heaven,he was sent by God, god's only.
And I said that's the lamb ofthe first year that got him out
of Egypt.
And I said the lamb of God gotme out of sin.
Hallelujah, did he get you out?
Praise God.
(24:35):
We're here tonight, not becauseI'm here.
We're not here because who'sall here?
Speaker 5 (24:41):
We're here tonight,
not because I'm here.
We're not here because who's?
Speaker 3 (24:43):
all here.
We're here because of the Lamb.
Hey, have you ever stopped tothink I would probably never
have known you if it hadn't beenfor Jesus.
I'd have never known y'all.
Probably that's right.
But the Lamb.
And every time he'd talksomething about the Lamb, I'd
give him a scripture and talk tohim a little bit about the lamb
and he'd say I ain't neverheard that, I ain't never heard
(25:04):
that.
And finally he said, okay, geton the table, took off his shirt
and T-shirt and everything.
Of course I'm, and he gives metwo shots here.
Now, don't go in your lungs.
You all see that needle that hecomes out.
You'll never about faint whenhe comes out with that needle.
I mean that thing.
But he gives me some Novocaineor some of whatever, that
(25:26):
deadening deal.
I mean he does that.
You don't mind that, becauseit's a little bit of needle.
You know, I'm laying on it.
It ain't going to be too big,too bad, just a little bit of
feeling and he'll mark a little,mark a little.
I said this ain't going to be.
But what I didn't realize thebig daddy's laying over on the
(25:49):
table waiting.
He lays that down, stacksaround just for a minute or so
and then he walks over and getsthat big and he comes up.
Why do they always want tostick that thing up right in
front of you?
Speaker 6 (26:04):
You know, God, that's
a pitchfork.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
Oh, I said, hey dog,
hey dog.
He said yes, sir, are you goingto stick?
That thing in my lung.
I can't want to breathe now, man, no, I ain't sticking that in
your lung.
He said if I stuck it in yourlung you can't breathe.
Now I'd let one little air.
You got in there out.
But he said I'm going to stickit in there, right in that rib,
(26:29):
between them ribs.
And he said now, in a fewminutes, those modules, that's
got your vocal cords cut off, where you can't talk, where you
can't breathe and get a deepbreath, all that's going to go
to shrinking and it shrinks andthen you'll be able to talk.
(26:50):
And again I'm thinking you know, for years I've run from God
because I didn't think the Lambcould do the job that he could
do for me.
I've raised and a holy church.
My grandpa was a holy preacher.
But when it came to my time Ithought, man, there ain't no way
.
I mean I'd try to get it allstraightened out, worked out,
(27:12):
get everything together, andthen I was going to get all
fixed up, quit talking ugly anddoing things I shouldn't do.
Then I was going to go up thereand join the church, but up,
quit talking ugly and doingthings I shouldn't do.
Now he's going to go up thereand join church.
But it didn't work that way.
But when the lamb come to himand got him and blotted out my
sins, I ain't had no troubledoing it since.
Two shots here, two shots here, four shots across here.
(27:38):
Okay, I'm laying there.
He goes over and talks to Vicki, sits down with Vicki and
they're over there talking.
They're talking about the grandyoung'uns.
Both of them got grandyoung'uns and they're trying to
figure out whose grand young'unwas the greatest.
You know how these grandparents are Us great grand folks
don't have all that muchtrouble with it.
But they was going and finallyhe got up and walked over to me
(28:03):
and he said sit up.
I got up and sat up on the sideof the table.
He said breathe through yournose like you've been breathing
deep.
Come on, breathe.
Speaker 5 (28:20):
Suck it up, suck it
up.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
He said I know you a
long ways.
Where are you from?
I said Georgia.
What part of Georgia?
Millieville, georgia?
What's that close to Southbelow Atlanta?
Speaker 5 (28:48):
Vicki screamed out
Daddy, you're talking.
I said I'm a breathing, Allbecause of the Lamb.
You know why I'm here tonight?
Because of the Lamb, Amen.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
Oh, it's because of
Him that we live and we move and
we have our being and have thisblessed hope and this sweet
assurance to know that ifthere's a tabernacle, this house
beat is off.
We have one eternal and theheavens not made with heaven.
Speaker 5 (29:16):
I'll tell you, it's
because of the Lamb.
Hey, hey, hey, hey hey.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
I was breathing and I
said man, I can whoo.
Great Lord, you know, I'll tellyou what, if you ain't enough,
when you go home, I want you togo home, I want you to go home,
I want you to go in the bathroomor wherever.
I want you to get yourwashcloth.
I want you to stick thatwashcloth under the sink faucet
and get it wet.
Get it wet oh, you ought tohave heard the one I made the
(29:48):
other night.
Get it wet and put it over yourmouth.
Just stretch it over your mouth, where you can't breathe.
I want you to do that.
And when you do that, that'sjust a portion of the struggle I
was having trying to breatheand then to know that all of
this is gone and here I ambreathing, and it's all because
(30:10):
of what?
Speaker 5 (30:11):
The Lamb.
We are here because why, hey,we're redeemed by what?
What blood was shed for us?
Oh, thank God for the Lamb.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
He took out his pen
and he threw it down on the
floor and said and this is ano-no, and of course the bottom
parts of my lungs is dead.
There ain't nothing they can doabout that.
And he told me.
He said now you ain't going tobe 100%.
So I can tell you, if you'dhave got here probably two years
ago, you'd be 98% at least.
But he said because of this, that Lord parts us dead and done
(30:49):
dead.
We can't revive that.
I'm going to tell you what a lotof people are trying to wait
until they die to try to get theblood.
You better go ahead and get itbefore you die.
Get it while it can do you somegood, amen.
Do it while it can quicken you.
Do it while it can redeem you.
Do it while it can save you.
That's a good one.
Hey, listen to me here.
(31:11):
You need the blood tonight.
If you hadn't had it, you needthe blood of Jesus Christ to
blot out your sins.
You need the blood of JesusChrist to take away your sins
and he's able to save unto theuttermost, all of them that come
unto God.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
By Him, sin that ever
liveth.
I want to tell you he's not ina tomb, he's not walking in
Jerusalem, but he's sitting atthe right hand of God, the
Father, making intercession forus, and it is allowed.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
He threw the pencil
down there.
He said pick up that pen.
I reached down, you know.
I got it, picked it up andhanded it to him.
Threw it down again.
I picked it up again.
He threw it down again.
I picked it up again In hishall.
He got a big old waiting room,a long hall way down through
there and he said now he said Iwant you to, I'm not talking
about just stroll, I'm talkingabout turn it on and walk fast
(32:02):
three times down your back tothat wall.
Three times back One, two, three, come on Woo.
Speaker 5 (32:14):
And you know why?
Why?
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
Thank God for the
Lamb of God that taketh away the
sin of the world.
Thank God for the Lamb and Icome back up there.
I was so happy, I was soexcited and it had been months
and months Since I'd even talkedon the telephone.
That's a no-no If you've got alot of lung trouble that takes
up too much oxygen, and that wasa no-no.
Talked on the telephone, that'sa no-no if you've got a lot of
lung trouble that takes up toomuch oxygen.
And that was a no-no.
(32:43):
And on the way home I talked toBrother Thomas for over 35
minutes.
Brother Thomas told the church, said Brother Neal's better,
he's on the phone 30 minutestalking to me.
He's on the way home.
I walked in that church thatjust started church.
We had a hallelujah hold downPraise.
Speaker 5 (32:57):
God, I'm telling you,
it's the Lamb of God tonight
that will take away your sins.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
It's the Lamb of God
that will save you.
Speaker 5 (33:05):
It's the Lamb of God
that will keep you.
It's the Lamb of God that willheal you.
He's a great physician.
He's a great I Am.
He's the light of the world.
He's the bread of life.
He's the water of life.
He's the water of life.
He's the hope of all of them tohave the trust in Him.
He's the bright and morningstar.
He's the Alpha and the Omega.
He's the beginning and the end.
(33:26):
He's everlasting, from Almightyto Almighty.
With Him there is no limit toHis power.
He can do what he wants to walkwhere he will Amen.
He can ascend and descend, hecan stay or he can go.
He's alive forevermore andbecause of Him tonight We'll
move and have our being.
(33:46):
Hey, I'm feeling better now.
Thank God for the Lamb of God.
Hallelujah.
Oh, isn't it wonderful tonightTo know that God loved us enough
.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
That he took His only
begotten Son and made Him into
a lamb and sent Him for ourredemption and sent Him to pay
the ultimate price and sacrifice.
And because of Him, tonightwe're here in this church house
shouting and singing Praise God,it's.
Speaker 5 (34:16):
Jesus, that's what
you need.
I'll tell you what Americaneeds.
They don't.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
We can get a little
politics here.
Watch it.
Oh my God, we sure don't needwhat we've got now.
Speaker 5 (34:34):
I'll put it that way
and a lot of other things that I
could go into detail, but whatthis world needs, what America
needs, is not somebody to stepon the moon not somebody to fly
out of space.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
It's not a new
program, but we need the Lamb of
.
Speaker 5 (34:52):
God back before us
and we look at Him as a nation
and say it is he who paid theultimate price and made the
sacrifice that by his shed bloodwe are saved.
Thank God forevermore for theLamb of God that taketh away the
sin of the world.
When John saw him, he saidbehold the Lamb.
(35:13):
Oh, hallelujah, there's alooking.
Where's he at?
I don't see no Lamb.
I don't see him.
I'll tell you what he was aLamb in a man's body.
Hey, hey, hey.
Only God can do that.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
And God was, in
Christ Jesus, reconciling the
world unto himself.
Speaker 5 (35:31):
He sent his only
begotten son, and they called
him a lamb.
They called him a savior, theycalled him every kind of name
that ever could be named, butmost of all, he was the Great I
Am.
He is the Everlasting, he isthe Almighty.
He is a bright and morning star.
(35:51):
He's a strength when we're weak.
He's our light when we're indarkness.
He's our hope when we'rehopeless.
He's our joy when we're insorrow.
He's our hope when we'rehopeless.
He's our joy when we're insorrow.
He's our peace when we're introuble.
The world, and because of himtonight we can shout the victory
(36:15):
.
I can say blessed be he thatcometh in the name of the Lord.
Blessed is the Lamb of God.
Oh, thank God.
He sits at the right hand ofGod, the Father.
He's our high priest forever.
At the Lord of Melchizedek hemakes a session for us, he
pleads our case.
He's our attorney in heaven.
(36:36):
He's our representative inglory, he's our mediator.
And go between us and thealmighty, holy and righteous God
that me and you can't approach.
He can't approach you, almightyGod, I'm talking about the Lamb
.
The Lamb, the Lamb of God,that's able to go before God and
plead our case.
(36:57):
Who wouldn't want to shout?
Who wouldn't want to worship?
Who wouldn't want to worship?
Who wouldn't want to praise?
Who wouldn't want to glorify, who wouldn't want to magnify?
Who wouldn't want to honor theLamb of God?
Praise God, clap for Him, shoutfor Him, rejoice because of Him
.
Give Him the glory because he'sdoing all.
(37:17):
Honor Him because he'shonorable.
There's no sin in Him.
Oh no, oh no.
He's a sinless one.
Oh yes, but he's not thehelpless one.
He's able to save the seeker.
He's able to deliver thebounder.
He's able to open the eyes ofthe blind.
He's able, at night, to givehope to the hopeless.
(37:40):
He's able to give the eyes ofthe blind.
He's able, tonight, to givehope to the hopeless.
He's able to give strength tothe weak.
He's able to give peace to thetroubled.
Oh, thank God.
He's able to give hope to thedying.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Woo who is likened
unto him.
Who can you liken him unto?
There is none like him, ashumble, as a lamb, yet he is as
strong than the strongest.
(38:18):
He is a royal blood.
He's an eternity.
Praise God.
He's before Abraham and he'sgoing to be after Revelation 22
and 20.
Praise God, I'm telling you,he's from everlasting to
everlasting.
Hey, before the sun ever shone,he was already shining in glory
(38:39):
.
Praise God.
Oh, yes, stephen Soins isstanding at the right hand of
God, the Father.
I'm telling you tonight, he isthe Lamb.
He's the Lamb that came aslowly and meek, but he's also
ascended as a king to his throne.
He sits at the right hand ofGod, the Almighty Father.
(39:00):
Oh, what a great Lamb of God heis, what a Savior he is.
Oh, isn't it something thatwe've seen people and I'm sure
you have, and I know I have?
I've seen people.
There was no way they could besaved.
Glory to God, he saved them yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah, yeah, I
ain't going to tell you Ain'tnone of your business how I used
to be, but I can tell you onething I wasn't no saint before.
Speaker 5 (39:25):
And when he saved me,
I went back down there where I
worked.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
And I went in there,
Brother Johnson, and I walked
back down there and some of themsaid my boss man.
Speaker 5 (39:34):
In fact, he said hey,
he said, they tell me, you got
saved.
I said I did.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
They tell me you got
that holy role of religion.
I said that's the kind of guyCurtis.
He said, as mean as you was, that's the kind you need.
I thought, yeah, you need thosethings yourself.
Praise God.
Yeah, he amazes me still.
He amazes me.
It amazes me.
(39:59):
That old boy that comes in allit amazes me, hello boy, that
comes down all the way up out ofSt Louis, missouri 9th and
Limey.
That's down in Boca Bottom inSt Louis, in case you don't know
where that is.
And I'm advising you right nowdon't go down there at night
unless you really know God's sinin you, unless you want to see
if you can survive it.
But I'm telling you, I mean forme to preach down there.
They had five men outsidewatching the cars.
(40:21):
Yeah, I'm telling you, that'sthe bottom of the bottom In that
church.
If you only wore a mini skirtand one of them did, and she had
on cowboy boots and she thoughtshe was homeless, and she had
on cowboy boots and she thoughtshe was homeless.
(40:43):
She had on cowboy boots and acowgirl skirt and it was about
three or four inches too shortand the fire must have been
close by and it shrunk way on upand she had on a big old cowboy
belt and they put her up thereand sang and she could sing when
he Rings those Golden Bells.
Now, I love that song, I dowhen he Rings those Golden Bells
(41:05):
for you.
But she could yodel and shesang that song and yodeling goes
, you know, one day out thereright in the middle of the
street, both of the Thompsonsand the other crowd.
They all got into it.
Now they'd all come to church, but they all got into it Right
in the middle of the street.
(41:25):
They was fighting.
I mean they was going at it.
I mean it wasn't little stuff,neither I'm talking about.
There's about 30 or 40 of themout there.
They was going at it.
One of them said you Now walk, take that.
That old boy come to that altar.
That night he was on drugs, been on drugs, he'd been on I
(41:51):
don't know.
He couldn't carry on theconversation.
You could ask him something orsay something.
He'd just you can ask himsomething or say something.
What did you have for breakfastthis morning?
He came to all of that nightand we got out and tried to pray
(42:17):
with him and I said Ernie, askthe Lord to save you, ernie.
Ernie, come on, buddy, come on,man, ask the Lord to save you.
I said, ernie, say Jesus, saveme.
Jesus, ernie, come on now, listen to what I'm saying Now,
(42:42):
say what I'm saying Now.
Look at me, look here, sayJesus, saved me, jesus.
That's it.
Revival closed.
We were on our way home backdown south, wasn't on the way
home.
I told you why.
And I said so pitiful, sopitiful.
(43:02):
I said that boyiful, so pitiful.
I said that boy's done, burnedhis brains out.
He ain't got enough mind toeven pray.
He ain't got enough mind.
He'll be lost.
I got a lot of money up therein that revival.
(43:22):
I'll tell you that it gave me$35 for two weeks.
Oh, thank you all for theoffering, by the way.
But anyway, I told you when Isaid that it's so pitiful, after
we finally sat down.
He sat down.
(43:42):
People come by and speak to him.
We're glad you come.
I mean, that was it.
I said they loved us and weloved them.
And if you've just done thingslike smoking, cussing, doing
things like that, you're a saintdown there.
(44:05):
I'm going to tell you I'mtalking about this place is
corncob rough.
Of course that's too muchtheology on some of you.
You don't know what I'm talkingabout.
We loved them and they loved usso much.
I was back up there nine monthslater.
(44:27):
The first person who met me atthat door was Ernie.
Brother Neil, I couldn't hardlywait for you to get here, and
you and Sister Bridges.
I've been longing.
I've been telling BrotherPuckett, please, I want them to
hurry up and come on.
Tell them to come on early.
I want to see them.
(44:48):
I want to tell them what theLord's done for me.
I want to tell them how muchhe's done for me.
Who was that?
That was old Ernie down therethat couldn't say nothing but
Jesus.
Why?
Because of one lamb calledJesus, because of the Lamb of
God, hallelujah.
I gave up on him.
I said he'll never make it, butJesus said he's mine.
(45:09):
I'm going to take him and I'mgoing to change him and I'm
going to show you what I can dowith a life of failure a life of
burnout, a life that's nothing,a life that's on drugs, and he
never took another dope, anotherdrug another thing One night
out there somebody locked thecar, locked the car, the keys in
the car and they couldn't getin.
(45:30):
He said to one of the brothers.
He said say, have you got acredit card?
And the brother said, well, yeah, yeah, I got a credit card.
He said let me have your creditcard.
He said, man, what are yougoing to do with my credit card?
He said just let me have yourcredit card.
Speaker 5 (45:41):
He said what are you
going?
Speaker 3 (45:42):
to do with my credit
card.
Just give me your credit card.
So he finally gave it to him.
He walked over and took thatcredit card that door, opened
that car door and had his creditcard back.
Man how did you do that?
He said, I ain't been saved toolong.
Speaker 5 (46:01):
Hallelujah.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
I'm talking about a
lamb tonight that went to the
slaughter.
A lamb to the slaughter Open, not his mouth.
He was done before his sharers, but he pled our case in heaven.
Speaker 5 (46:15):
He might not have
spoke so much to Pilate, but he
spoke a whole lot in heaven, hallelujah.
Speaker 3 (46:20):
He might not have
said a whole lot to the world
and to Pilate's crowd, but hespoke enough that we could be
redeemed and be saved and bewhat we are by the grace of God.
Speaker 5 (46:29):
He made us what I am.
Hallelujah, glory be to God.
I don't know about you, but I'mnot what I was and I'm what I
was not, and I'm what I ambecause of him.
Behold the Lamb of God thattaketh away the sin of the world
.
I don't care who you are, whatyour name is, where you're from,
what you're into and whatyou've done.
He's able to save you tonight.
Speaker 4 (46:53):
Thank you God.
Thank you God, yes sir.
Speaker 3 (47:05):
It's amazing how I
study one message for three days
and don't even preach it RightA lot of times.
I'm one of them, hip shootersanyway.
But when I seen them sheep out,I seen them sheep out, John
Marshall.
I seen them sheep out and ofcourse I didn't talk to them
(47:27):
about it and told them something.
But when I seen them sheep Isaid, hmm, you know what sheep?
They're innocent Sheep.
Let me tell you something else.
Maybe your pastor might haveknown the brothers from Oklahoma
(47:56):
, Brother Richard and ClarenceMcDaniel.
I don't know if you knew them,Maybe you did.
They've both gone on to glorynow, Both of them preachers
there from California.
Their daddy was a shepherd.
I mean several hundreds ofsheep.
They were raised on a sheepfarm.
Now, listen to this, You'regoing to love this one.
You're going to love this one.
(48:18):
And every time I'd get aroundI'd be picking about sheep.
I wouldn't know if I could,because there was a lamb that
redeemed me.
And they said Brother Clarencetold me one time he said,
Brother Nils, if what, we wouldwatch if one of those sheep get
whored, that it wouldn't eatlike it ought to and go to
losing weight and go to gettingwhored.
(48:40):
It wasn't eating like it should.
We'd get to watching it close,so what it was doing a lot of
times, if we knew that we hadall the parasites off of it
nothing to buy out there, butstill it was losing weight, not
doing like it ought to.
So we'd get to watching it, andso what it would do it would be
nibbling on the other sheep.
And nibbling on those othersheep it would get wool between
(49:11):
its teeth and it would affectits appetite and it would go to
losing weight and go to gettingweak and if we didn't take that
wool out between his teeth andclean it out, it would perish to
death.
Uh, but there's a lamb.
(49:38):
He wasn't caught in a thicketas a ram.
He wasn't caught in a thicketas a ram.
He went to Calvary and I'mgoing to tell you tonight and
again, thank you for letting mecome, Brother Johnson, I wish I
could have done better for you,but I feel this.
(49:58):
Somebody here tonight you needto know more about Him.
You need to draw an eye to Himand He'll draw an eye unto you.
You need to come closer and getmore acquainted with Him.
That I may know Him.
Paul said, in the power of Hisdeath and resurrection, that I
may know Him.
I've found with some people, the more I know them, the less I
(50:18):
really appreciate them.
But the more I know about Him,the more I'm thankful and
appreciate Him.
He's highly to be esteemed.
He's worthy of all honor.
All glory belongs to Him, Amen,Amen.
And if tonight you're here andyou want to know more about Him,
you can, yes, sir, have apersonal experience with Him On
(50:44):
a daily basis.
Stand with us, please.
Would you tonight want such aone that can save you?
I'm telling you, when you lookat me, I'm a nobody.
(51:06):
Telling everybody aboutsomebody that can save anybody.
I'm telling you, Ernie, I saidthere ain't no way.
And then when I go back, ninemonths later, the first man
meets me at the door is oldErnie.
Oh, I couldn't hardly wait foryou to get here.
I couldn't hardly wait for youto get here.
I want you to know what allthey've done.
(51:27):
All they've done.
I mean, you know sometimes, Iwant you to know what all
they've done.
All they've done.
I mean, you know sometimes, andI understand and I get pretty
wild myself, but sometimes wethink it's got to be a huckabuck
down there in free fall.
But all I've done is just sayJesus.
Never said Jesus saved me, justsaid Jesus, that was all.
That was all, but that's whathe needed.
(51:48):
Sing, that's all.
That's all, but that's what heneeded.
Sing for us.
When you're ready, Would youlike to come tonight?
Come without money, comewithout price.
It ain't going to cost younothing if you'll come tonight.
Come on tonight.
Hallelujah, let's pray.
Come on and pray.
Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord
(52:08):
, thank you Lord, thank you.
Speaker 5 (52:09):
Lord, Thank you Lord,
Thank you Lord.
Speaker 6 (52:11):
Let them let you in
the Father, jesus never opened
his mouth.
From the trial to thecrucifixion, to the grave he was
laid out After three days inthe garden tomb.
I can hear the angels sing asthe Lamb came forth.
As the Lamb and the lion becamethe king, and you won't find him
(52:34):
again at the whipping poststanding there so meek, and he
will be nailed to a rugged crossthrough his hands and through
his feet.
Oh, there'll never be anotherCalvary, because you don't have
to prove one thing the day theLamb became the law and the law
became the king, you won't findhim again at the whipping post,
(52:58):
standing there so meek, and hewon't be nailed to a rugged
cross through his hands andthrough his feet.
There'll never be anotherCalvary cause you don't have to
prove one thing.
In the days, the Lamb became theLord and the Lamb became the
King.
Well, jesus left his splendorto live on earth as a man, but
(53:21):
most he was rejected because hecame forth as a lamb.
But the day is soon approachingthat every eye shall see the
lamb.
The Lion of Judah has beencrowned the King of Kings.
Oh, you won't find him again atthe whipping post, standing
there so meek, and he won't benailed to a rugged cross through
(53:44):
his hands and through his feet.
There'll never be anotherCalvary Cause he don't have to
prove one thing the day the Lambbecame the Lion, the Lion
became the King.
Oh you won't find him again atthe whipping post, standing
there so meek, and he won't benailed to a rugged cross Through
(54:05):
his hands and through his feet.
There'll never be anotherCalvary Cause.
He don't have to prove onething the day the lamb became
the lion and the lion became theking.
Speaker 4 (54:17):
Praise the Lord.
While Brother Bridges waspreaching about the Lamb of God,
my mind went to this scripture.
I'd like to read it to you hereBefore we stop praying in this
altar service here tonight.
In Revelation, chapter numberfive, the bible said I saw in
the right hand of him that saton the throne, a book written
within, on the backside sealedwith seven seals.
(54:37):
I saw a strong angelproclaiming with a loud voice
who is worthy to open the bookand to loose the seals thereof.
No man in heaven nor on earth, neither under the earth, was
able to open the book, neitherto look thereon, and I wept much
because no man was found worthyto open and read the book,
neither to look thereon.
(54:59):
One of the elders came to me andsaid Weep not.
Behold the lion of the tribe ofJudah, the root of David, hath
prevailed to open the book andloose the seven seals thereof.
And I beheld and lo, in themidst of the throne and of the
four beasts, in the midst of theelders, stood a lamb, as it had
(55:21):
been slain.
Praise God.
Stood a lamb, as it had beenslain, hallelujah, having seven
horns and seven eyes, which arethe seven spirits of God sent
forth from the earth and he tookthe book out of the right hand
of Him that sat on the throne.
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and
twenty elders fell down beforethe Lamb, having, every one of
(55:43):
them hearts, golden vials fullof odors, which are the prayers
of the saints, and they sung anew song saying Thou art worthy
to take the book and to open theseals thereof, for Thou was
slain and has redeemed us to Godby Thy blood, out of every
kindred, every tongue, everypeople and nation, and I like
(56:05):
this.
This is what the Lamb does forus, and he made us unto our God,
kings and priests, and we shallreign on the earth.
I think we ought to behold theLamb tonight.
I said I think we ought tobehold the Lamb If heaven bows
down and worships the Lamb, ifthe four and twenty elders and
the beasts that are in heavenand all of the angels in heaven
(56:29):
Are bowing before the Lamb andworshiping the Lamb, you and I,
that has been redeemed by theblood.
Not one angel, brother Bridges, knows what it's like To be
redeemed, but you and I havebeen redeemed by the blood of
the Lamb.
Glory be to God.
I say we ought to be able torejoice and shout because the
(56:50):
Lamb of God, amen, the Lamb ofGod, hallelujah, you say,
preacher.
I heard it all night long.
Yeah, but we ought to beholdHim, we ought to take another
look at Him.
Praise the Lamb of God, amen.
I remember years ago, brotherDon Rich, amen.
I appreciate and I say itrespectfully our elder preachers
(57:12):
, praise God.
God's taken a lot of them on toheaven and I'm so glad Brother
Bridges was with us right heretonight.
Praise God.
But I remember Brother RichAmen preaching years ago on John
the Baptist.
Whenever you know, he saidBehold the Lamb that taketh away
the sin of the world.
But he got in trouble and hegot discouraged when he was put
(57:34):
in prison and he sent hisdisciples and says Go and ask
him.
Should we look for another?
Amen.
And Brother Rich preached thatmessage on Don't look for
another, just take another look.
Amen.
Just look at the Lamb again, look at who he is and look at
what he's doing.
Amen, don't look for somebodyelse, just take another look at
