Text us here! (Leave us your number if you want a response from us!)

Time is running out and we need to ensure our hearts are right with God before it's too late. This sermon examines what messages would come from hell if those suffering there could preach to us.

• Just because you go to church doesn't mean you're right with God
• You must have a genuine born-again experience to be saved
• The story of the Rich Man and Lazarus reveals hell as a real place of torment
• If people in hell could preach, they would urgently warn us to repent now
• Everyone in hell would beg us not to make their same mistakes
• The Word of God provides sufficient warning about eternal consequences
• Don't delay salvation – tomorrow is not promised
• Making your heart right with God matters more than what others think

Let's all pray and seek God while we have the opportunity. If you've never been born again, ask the Lord to save you right now.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
wwwholybunchcom preaching online.
We want to present to you todaya great sermon from another
great preacher.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
What's happening there?
What's that man that'spreaching?
And the Lord dealt with me toget up on a Sunday morning and I
preached the very exact samescripture that that brother had
preached.
And I'm telling you, when I did, they all dropped their jaws.
It was like wow.

(01:06):
And Brother Kelsey said I didnot tell him anything.
I didn't tell him anything andit was just a confirmation of
how God was trying to speak tothose people and I appreciate
what God has done and what Godis doing.
The last night of revival we hada pool for souls to come in.

(01:29):
There was two people that cameto the altar to get saved and I
want to thank the Lord for thatand it was a young boy whose dad
was backslid.
His uncle is Ben Horton.
Some of you probably know him.

(01:49):
And then the other man was justa man in the church that had
never really made a publicconfession of faith and accepted
Jesus Christ as his Lord andpersonal Savior, brother Ronald.
He was just.
He was one of the best guys inthe church.

(02:10):
Seem like they just sit on thepew, like everybody else.
Sit on the pew, come to church.
He married the pastor'sgranddaughter.
They just.
But I'm telling you just becauseyou go to church doesn't mean
that you're right with God.

(02:31):
You have to accept Jesus Christas your Lord and personal
Savior.
You have to believe on His name.
You have to call upon Him.
You have to repent of all ofyour sins.
You have to turn away from allof your sins and turn to the

(02:56):
Lord with all of your heart.
Amen, amen.
That's part of repentance.
The other part of repentance, the other part of repentance, is
after that.
You've turned away and repentedof your sin.
You've got to follow the Lordwith all your heart and believe

(03:18):
on His name.
Amen.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
And you know the devil will try to make it harder
to get saved than what itreally is.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
That man was probably 35 or 40 years old, probably
Raised in church his whole life.
Brother Lee Strickler was hispastor, raised in church his
whole life, and the man hadnever really just committed over

(03:50):
to the Lord.
I tell you, we need to commitourselves to the Lord.
Time is running out, we don'thave much time to play around.
You say, well, I'm not playingaround If you haven't committed
everything to God.
Time to play around.
You say, well, I'm not playingaround.
If you haven't committedeverything to God, you're
playing around.
There's no other way to say it.

(04:10):
Time is running out, amen, amen.
The Bible said in the last daysbefore the coming of the Lord,
you shall hear wars and rumorsof wars.
Are we hearing that?

(04:31):
Is that not what's going on inthis world?
That's exactly what's going onin this world.
We're on the brink of thecoming of the Lord.
We need to make sure thateverything in our hearts is
right with God, amen.
I want to say I'm glad to behome.

(04:52):
Praise God.
I hope that absence made theheart grow fonder.
I hope that you love me morethan you used to, and I know you
love me, I know you do.
We had a little change of plans.
I was supposed to be gone nextSunday but I'm going to come

(05:14):
back from PFYC and we're goingto be here for Sunday morning
and then we're going to leaveafter Sunday morning service and
head to Kentucky to preach arevival there.
So we will be here at least forSunday morning and of course
we'll be here this Tuesday nightas well.

(05:35):
Turn with me to the book of StLuke's Gospel, chapter number 16
.
Team and I appreciate the menof the church just stepping in,
stepping in and just stepping upto the plate here and taking
care of things in my absence, and I want to say I appreciate

(05:56):
them.
We're so glad to have everybodyhere this morning.
We're so glad to have Ms Hopehere with us.
She're so glad to have Ms Hopehere with us.
She is my mom's neighbor thatlives right above her and we're
so glad to have her here with usand we're glad to have everyone

(06:17):
else as well.
Turn with me to the book of StLuke's Gospel, chapter number 16
.
I want to read, starting withverse number 19, if the Lord
would help me.
Luke, chapter 16, verse number19.

(06:40):
If you found it, say amen, amen.
The Bible said there was acertain rich man.
If you found it, say amen.
The bible said there was acertain rich man which was
clothed in purple and fine linenand fared sumptuously every day
.
There was a certain beggarnamed Lazarus, which was laid at

(07:01):
his gate, full of sores anddesiring to be fed with the
crumbs which fell from the richman's table.
Moreover, the dogs came andlicked his sores and it came to
pass that the beggar died andwas carried by the angels into

(07:24):
Abraham's bosom.
The rich man also died and wasburied, and in hell he lived up,
his eyes being in torments andsee if Abraham were far off and
Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said FatherAbraham, have mercy on me and

(07:49):
send Lazarus.
Listen to this right here.
That man that went to hell, that rich man that went to hell
verse 24, cried and said FatherAbraham, have mercy on me.
And said Lazarus that he may dipthe tip of his finger in water

(08:13):
and cool my tongue, for I amtormented in this flame.
And Abraham said Son, rememberthat thou in thy lifetime
receivest thy good things, likewise Lazarus evil things.
But now he's comforted and thouart tormented.
And beside all this, between usand you, there's a great goal

(08:39):
fixed, so that they which wouldpass from hence to you cannot,
neither can they pass to us thatwould come from this.
And he said I pray thee, therefore, father, that thou
wouldest send him to my father'shouse, for I have five brethren

(09:01):
that he may testify unto them, lest they also come to this
place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him theyhave Moses and the prophets, let
them hear them.
He said nay, I want you tonotice this right here.

(09:24):
He said Nay, I want you tonotice this right here.
Notice what the rich man issaying in hell, in his
desperation in hell.
Notice what the rich man issaying to Abraham.
He said Nay, father Abraham, but if one went unto them from
the dead, they will repent.

(09:44):
And he said unto them from thedead, they will repent.
And he said unto them If theyhear not Moses and the prophets,
neither will they be persuaded.
Though, one rose from the dead, and if the Lord would help me
today, I'd like to preach onthis thought.
If hell could preach, oh, whatwould they say If hell could

(10:18):
preach?
What kind of a message ifsomebody that's in hell, if they
could preach, what kind of amessage would they preach?
Amen, would you lift your handsright here this morning and ask

(10:43):
God to help us?
Father, in the name of the Lord, god, I pray right now that
you'd help me to preach.
Lord, let the Holy Ghost comeupon me.
I pray that you would put yourwords in my mouth, lord.
God, I pray for the anointingGod.
Help me, lord.
I don't want to say anythingyou don't want me to say, but

(11:04):
help me to say everything.
Lord, I don't want to sayanything you don't want me to
say, but help me to sayeverything, lord, that you want
me to say this morning.
I pray that your divine willwould be done and accomplished.
I pray that you bless in thesealtars.
I pray that you would stir thechurch, stir us right here in

(11:24):
this house of God, stir thiscongregation.
Help this house of God, stirthis congregation.
Help us to realize, god, thatwithout a vision, there's people
that are going to go to hell.
There's people that are goingto go to hell if we don't reach
out after them.
But, lord, help me with mythought this morning on what

(11:45):
would happen if somebody fromhell could preach God.
Would you bless these altarsand we give you praise in the
name of Jesus and the churchsaid amen, amen.
Here we find in Luke's gospelthe story here about a rich man

(12:11):
and the story about a beggarnamed Lazarus, and we know that
this is a true story.
This is the Bible.
This is not a fairy tale.
Walt Disney did not write this.

(12:31):
The Lord wrote this.
This is literal.
This is real, amen, amen.
And the devil would like to tellpeople.
This is not a true story.
The devil doesn't even want youto think about hell.

(12:54):
Really, he wants you to gothere.
If you thought about it, youwouldn't want to go there.
Amen, amen, want to go there, amen.
There's only two places thatpeople are going to go when this
life is over it's heaven orhell.
There's no in between place.
There's no such thing aspurgatory.

(13:18):
Purgatory is a lie of the devil.
There's no such thing aspurgatory.
It's either heaven or hell,amen.
I want to preach to you theburden of my heart to warn you
not to go to this place calledhell.
I want to preach to you andtell you that every time a

(13:42):
person dies, not every one ofthem goes to heaven.
It's amazing to me how that youcan go to a funeral.
And the guy was a liar.
He cussed every breath he took, almost he cheated on his wife.

(14:02):
It wasn't fair, but thepreacher preached him on into
heaven.
It's amazing to me how thepreachers can get behind a
pulpit and preach somebody intoheaven that was a wicked sinner
in this world amen.
I want to tell you Everybodythat dies Doesn't go to heaven,

(14:28):
amen.
I tell you, some of them go tohell, amen, you know.
But you say Brother Stacy, ifsomebody preached a sinner into
hell, or somebody preachedsomebody into hell At a funeral,
it wouldn't be very pleasantFor the family members.
Hell at a funeral, it wouldn'tbe very pleasant for the family
members, would it?
No, it wouldn't.

(14:49):
And I know we got to use wisdomas ministers of the gospel, but
I just want to tell you noteverybody that dies goes to
heaven amen.
You got to be born again inorder to go to heaven.
Amen.
Just because you say you're aChristian doesn't mean you're a

(15:11):
Christian.
You've got to have the actualexperience of being born again,
amen, amen.
I could call myself thegovernor of the state of
Louisiana, but that would notmake me the governor of the
state of Louisiana Just becauseI said I am the governor, amen.

(15:36):
There is a process that has totake place, amen.
I'd have to be voted intooffice.
But I have never be voted intooffice.
But I have never been votedinto office.
But just because I say that I'mthe governor of the state of
Louisiana doesn't make me thegovernor of the state of

(15:56):
Louisiana.
You know, we have people whosay, oh, I'm a Christian.
Just because you say you're aChristian doesn't mean you're a
Christian.
You have to have the experience.
You have to pray and accept theLord as your Savior.
You've got to accept Jesus inyour heart.

(16:18):
You've got to be born again.
The Bible said in Ephesians, chapter 2, for by grace you are
saved through faith, and thatnot of yourselves.
It is the gift of God, not ofworks, lest any man should boast
.
We're saved by grace.
The Bible says so.
I just want to tell us righthere, amen.

(16:39):
I know we say we live in aChristian nation and I believe
it is.
I believe our forefathers wereChristian men Not all of them,
but a lot of them were and theyfounded this country upon the
Christian faith.
But just because you live inAmerica doesn't mean that you're

(17:00):
a Christian, just because youlive in America doesn't mean
you're an infidel.
You choose, you choose.
We're free moral agents.
We choose Because your mom anddaddy was a Christian doesn't
mean you're a Christian.
Just because your mom and daddywere bad, wicked sinners

(17:22):
doesn't mean you have to be thatway.
Amen.
Everybody has a will.
The Lord has given man andwoman, boy and girl, the ability
to be their own free moralagent, which is our destiny.

(17:44):
Amen.
I want to preach to us todaythe thought that has come to me
upon this rich man that is inhell Amen.
We find that I want to say justbecause his riches was not the
reason he went to hell, and justbecause Lazarus was poor,

(18:05):
that's not the reason he went tohell.
And just because Lazarus waspoor, that's not the reason he
went to heaven.
Amen.
That doesn't mean anything tothe Lord.
Whether you're rich or you'repoor, that doesn't mean anything
to God.
Amen.
It is a personal experience thatmakes you qualify for heaven or
hell.
You're really going to have todo anything to go to hell.

(18:26):
Everybody, when they're born,is on their way to hell.
You don't have to do anythingyou say preacher what do I have
to do to go to hell?
Nothing really.
You really don't have to doanything to go to hell.
What do I have to do to go toheaven?
You have to be born again, amen.
What do I have to do to go toheaven?
You have to be born again, amen.

(18:47):
I want to dive down here intohell, if we can, a little bit.
We believe that hell is in thecenter of the earth.
I believe the Bible is plain inthat, teaching Hell from
beneath.
I believe that that is plain.
The Bible is plain in itsteaching that hell is in the

(19:09):
center of the earth.
For right now anyway, we findthat this man went to hell and
there was a time when paradisealso was in the heart of the
earth, and it is not anymore, but during this time it was uh

(19:32):
the reason it's not anymore, paradise is not in the heart of
the earth anymore is becausewhen jesus christ was crucified
on the cross of calvary and hebecame the Lamb of God that took
away the sin of the world Amen.
When His physical human bodylaid in the grave, the Lord

(19:53):
Jesus was busy for those threedays.
He actually went down into helland the Bible said he preached
to the spirits which were incaptivity and the Bible said he
led captivity captive and hegave gifts to men and he emptied
out paradise and he took allthose that was in paradise up to

(20:14):
heaven.
Amen.
So now, the saints of God ofdays gone by and the saints of
God that even died yesterday inthis world are in heaven to be
with the Lord right now.
But during this time, righthere, amen.
The saints of God that had diedwere in the heart of the earth,

(20:35):
in a place called paradise.
The Bible gives the story oftwo men.
The Bible gives the story of apoor man whose name was Lazarus
and the Bible gives the storyabout a rich man, and the Bible
said both of these men died.
Lazarus went to be in Abraham'sbosom and the rich man, the

(21:00):
Bible said, went to hell and helifted up his eyes.
The Bible said being to helland he lifted up his eyes.
The Bible said being intorments.
Now I want to tell you there'storments in hell.
Somebody may say preacher, hell's not going to be that bad
I want to tell you.
The Bible said there's tormentsin hell.
The Bible said the rich manlooked up.
There was a great divide there.

(21:30):
There was a place he saidFather Abraham said you can't
cross over to where we are andthere's a great goldfish to
where we can't cross over towhere you are.
But he could look up and hecould see across that gulf.
And the rich man looked up andsaid Father Abraham, would you
send Lazarus to me that he maydip the tip of his finger in
water and place it on my tongue?

(21:52):
He said, for I have tormentedhim, this flame.
I want to tell you hell's areal place.
Brother and sister People saywe're going to go to hell and
we're going to have a partythere.
There's not going to be anyparties in hell.
I want to tell you there'sgoing to be real suffering and
real torment in hell.
Amen.

(22:13):
The rich man said I am tormentedin this flame and I believe
that this rich man was amiserable, wretched soul.
He was tormented in the flame.
Tormented in the flame, amen.

(22:37):
I remember when I was a boy Iwas playing out with my Tonka
truck over at my Aunt Estelle'sand Uncle Charlie's house that
was my mom's sister and they hadburn barrels that they burned
the trash in and they wereburning trash in their burn

(22:58):
barrel but they had a sand, alittle sandbox area right there
in front of that burn barrel.
I had my Tonka truck and Iwasn't paying no attention.
I was just a little boy and Iscooted up and I scooted back to
where my back touched that burnbarrel and I began to scream

(23:25):
and I ran.
Do you remember, mom?
I ran to the house there forthem to take care of me and it
hurt so bad.
I can still remember screamingbecause it hurt so bad.
Amen, god in His mercy, help me.

(23:46):
I don't have any scars overthat, but that was a terrible
ordeal, terrible experience.
You can't tell me that hell'snot real.
The Bible tells us that hell'sa real, literal, burning
scorching place.
Amen.
I don't have time to preach allabout hell, but the Bible said

(24:11):
what if God, willing to show Hiswrath endured with much
longsuffering, the vessels ofwrath fitted to destruction.
You know, just like we're goingto have a glorified body, that
we go to heaven and we'll beable to stand in the presence of
God forever and live forever inheaven, the other side of that

(24:31):
coin Is we're going to have abody fitted To destruction.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
That means we're going to be able to.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
That means whoever goes to hell After this life is
over Is going to have a bodyfitted to destruction.
That means you're going to bein the fire and never burn up.
Amen.
I can't imagine what that wouldbe like.
Let me preach right here thismorning.

(25:00):
After that rich man looked overand said Would you send Lazarus
to me?
Let him get just a little bitof water and cool my tongue if
I'm tormented in this flame?
Father Abraham said there's agreat goal fixed.
We cannot pass to you, youcannot pass over to us.
And then that rich man, whilehe was in hell, began to think

(25:24):
about his five brothers thatwere still on this earth.
And he said Father Abraham, would you send Lazarus to
testify unto my five brethrenlest they also come to this
place of torment?
And Abraham said they haveMoses and the prophets, let them
hear them come to this place oftorment.
And Abraham said they haveMoses and the prophets.

(25:46):
Let them hear them.
He said Nay, but Father.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Abraham.
If one would go unto them fromthe dead, they will repent.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Oh, I preach to you.
What if hell could preach?
What if people in hell couldpreach?
What would they say to thislost and dying world?
What kind of message would theysay?
I want to tell you the firstmessage that they would not
preach would be this oh, you canlive any way you want to.

(26:21):
God still loves you.
It don't matter if you've got asin every day.
God loves you.
You can live any way you wantto.
God still loves you.
It don't matter if you've got asin every day.
God loves you.
You can live any way you wantto.
Amen God still loves you.
He still cares about you and hestill wants to help you.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
I guarantee you that will not be the message that
come out of hell.
Amen.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
But I tell you what kind of message would come out
of hell.
Amen.
But I tell you what kind ofmessage would come out of hell
Repent, give all your self toGod, turn away from every sin
that you have.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Amen, you don't have much time left.
You don't want to come to whereI'm at Amen.
Whatever you have to do, getwrong with God.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
What kind of message would they preach to us from
hell?
I believe they would say if youfeel the Holy Ghost dealing
with you, don't you walk awayfrom God.
Don't you ever walk away fromHoly Ghost conviction.

(27:32):
If you feel God knocking onyour heart's door, don't you
keep that door shut.
You open up your heart to Godand let the Lord save you.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
It doesn't matter what anybody else in this world
may think about you.
You give your life to God andlet the Lord save you.
Amen.
Doesn't matter what anybodyelse in this world may think
about you.
You give your life to God.
What kind of message would comeout of hell church?
Oh, great Lord, help me preachright now.
Woo.
This rich man said, nay, fatherAbraham, but if one went unto
them from the dead, they willrepent.

(28:05):
This rich man had five brothers.
He said let somebody come fromthe dead and warn them not to
come to this place of torment.
What kind of message would becoming out of hell If somebody
got to preach that was in hell?

(28:26):
What kind of message would theypreach?
Could it be a backslid preacherthat went to hell?
Amen.
Could it be a lukewarm deaconthat went to hell?
Or could it have been a youngman that sat on the church pew,
raised in church all of his lifenever had a true experience

(28:50):
with God?
Or could it just be an oldsinner boy out there that's a
pretty good guy that neverreally wanted to surrender his
life to the Lord?
Or could it be a drug addictthat's addicted to the Lord?
Or could it be a drug addictthat's addicted to the things of
this world that never could getdeliverance?
Or could it be an alcoholicthat can never get free from

(29:14):
drink?
It really doesn't matter whereyou're at in this life.
If your heart's not right withGod, I believe every sinner in
hell would scream out you don'twant to come to this place of
torment.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
You don't want to come here.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
What kind of preaching would there be coming
out of hell?
I guarantee you somebody wouldcry out and say don't listen to
that preacher that'll tell youyou gotta sin every day.
I listened to that preacherthat told me that we have to sin
every day and I just thoughtthat that's the way it was, amen

(29:59):
.
And now I've been deceived andI'm gonna be deceived for all of
eternity.
Listen, don't listen to thatpreacher that tells you you can
live any way you want to, andgrace will overshadow it.
Don't listen.
I'm telling you.
There will be righteouspreachers coming out of hell and
we can just hear somebodypreach.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
What kind?

Speaker 2 (30:21):
of message would they preach from?

Speaker 3 (30:24):
hell.
I believe they say do whateveryou have to do to get around
with God.
What if?

Speaker 2 (30:40):
here the rich man explored the possibility of
somebody coming from hell andpreaching the gospel.
What would they say?
Church what would they say?
I guarantee you there wouldprobably be somebody stand up

(31:07):
and say I thought all I had todo was go to church and shake
the preacher's hand and give mymoney and the offering and put
my name on the church roll and Iwould be okay.
But I'm here in hell and I wantto preach to you that there's
more to it than that.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
I was lied to.
Somebody told me all I had todo was shake the preacher's hand
and pay a little bit of titheevery once in a while and write
my name on the roll.
But I'm telling you I died andI went to hell and I want to
tell you there's more to it thanthat.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
you've got to get saved what kind of preaching
would come out of hell ifsomebody had the opportunity to
share their experience with you?
I believe somebody would stepup from hell and say don't wait

(32:07):
too late.
The biggest lie of the devil isthis right here?
The devil tells people yes, youneed to give your life to God.
Yes, give everything to God.
The devil will tell you don'thold anything back from God, you

(32:31):
need to give your life to God,you need to repent, you need to
get born again, you need to getsaved by grace, but just don't
do it right now.
That's the biggest lie of thedevil.
But if somebody could come fromhell and preach the gospel to
you right here this Sundaymorning, I believe that they

(32:52):
would say don't listen to thelie of the devil.
You don't know when would beyour last opportunity to get
right with God.
Do it now, while you have achance.
I believe the most popularsermon that would come out of
hell Would be this right now, would be this message right here

(33:13):
Today is the day of salvation.
Oh, right now.
This is the second time.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
Don't wait till it's too late.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Thank you for allowing me to use my
imagination to explore thepossibility of what it might be
like if somebody from hell couldpreach the gospel.
Oh God, but this is what FatherAbraham said.

(33:51):
Father Abraham said he saidthey have Moses and the prophets
.
Let them hear them.
He said nay, father Abraham, but if one went unto them from
the dead, they will repent.
This is what Abraham said.

(34:13):
He said unto him.
If they hear not Moses and theprophets, neither will they be
persuaded, though one rose fromthe dead.
I want to tell you there's nopossible way for somebody to
come from hell and preach thegospel.
But Moses told him you have theWord of God and if you're not

(34:35):
going to be persuaded by theWord of God, then you wouldn't
be persuaded if someone rosefrom the grave.
If somebody come out of hell topreach Church, there is enough
holy conviction coming out ofthe Word of God that it ought to
convince you to get right withGod.

(34:55):
I'd say I wouldn't leave thishouse of God today if I wasn't
100% sure that my heart wasright with God.
I'm telling you I wouldn't takea chance.
You don't know what wouldhappen if you go out in that
world.
I need to pray in church rightnow.
You don't know will happen ifyou go out in that world.
I need to pray in church rightnow.
You don't know, we are notpromised tomorrow.

(35:19):
So on the way to Virginia, meand my wife seen a horrible
accident.
This car run off in a ravineand it was stuck.
You know how ravines go downdeep sometimes and there's big

(35:39):
trees coming out of that ravine.
This car was stuck up into thetop of a big old tree.
It was a horrible accident.
I don't know how many there wasinvolved.
I don't know if it was just asingle driver there or if there
was a carload of people.
I have no idea, but there wereseveral ambulances that was

(36:04):
heading to that scene of thataccident.
I don't know if it was fatal, Idon't know if they lived.
It looked terrible, it lookedfatal.
But I want to tell you, whenthey got up that morning, I
guarantee you they never thoughtthey'd be involved in an
automobile accident.
And I want to tell us right herethis morning we do not know how

(36:27):
much time we have left in thisworld.
The Bible said boast notthyself of tomorrow, for you do
not know what a day may bringforth.
I tell you there's no shame inmaking sure that everything in
your heart is right with God.
The devil will tell you whatwill everybody think about you?

(36:50):
Who cares what somebody thinksabout you?
This is your experience.
Are you?
This is your experience?
Are you going to base yourexperience upon what other
people might think about you inthis life?
If you do, then you probablywill go to hell.
I'm not concerned about whatsomeone else thinks about my
personal experience.

(37:11):
I want to make sure my heart'sright with God.
If somebody's for it, great, but if somebody's not for it,
that's not going to stop me Fromliving for God.
Amen.
The devil will tell you, Don'tyou go up there to that altar

(37:31):
today?
The devil's a liar.
You do not know what tomorrowmay bring.
You do not know what thisevening may bring.
So now, while you have time andopportunity, I want to make an
appeal for everybody in thischurch to make sure that

(37:53):
everything in your heart isright with God.
Amen.
I want my wife to come to thepiano.
We're going to pray around here.
We're going to seek the Lord inthis service.
We've always got time to prayRight here.

(38:15):
We're going to pray Right here.
We're going to give an altarcall.
We're going to seek God righthere.
Amen.
We're going to take some timeand we're going to seek God
around this altar, right here.
Because if you just have onelittle doubt, If you just have
one little doubt, if you justhave one little doubt that there

(38:40):
might be something in yourheart that would stand between
you and God, you need to get itfixed right now.
I feel compelled to tellsomebody right here this morning
you need to make sure that yourheart's right with God.
Hey, there's nothing wrong withjust making sure that your

(39:03):
heart's right with God.
Amen.
Let's stand everyone.
I don't think you have to cometo an altar to get saved, but
traditionally that's the waymost people do it.
I believe you can get savedright there at your seat.

(39:23):
I believe you can get savedstanding in that corner over
there.
But I tell you what makes whatwe need to do.
That matters more than anything.
Whether you're standing, sitting or kneeling down on your
knees, it really don't matter.
You need to pray right now andsay God, I want to make sure

(39:48):
that everything in my heart isright with the Lord.
Can we do that right now?
Can we do it right now, beforewe have altar call?
Can everybody in this churchpray right now?
I'll lead us in prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus.
Lord, I come to you in Jesus'name and I just want to make

(40:14):
sure, Lord, that everything inmy heart is right with the Lord.
God, if there's just oneunrepentant sin in my life, Lord
, I don't want to take a chanceon hell.
Would you please forgive me,Jesus, Lord, if I've had

(40:36):
thoughts of bitterness, if I'vehad some hatred in my heart for
anybody.
Lord, the Bible says that youcannot hate your brother, whom
you have seen, and love God,whom you have not seen.
Lord, the Bible teaches us thatwe can't go to heaven if we
have hatred in our heart.

(40:57):
Lord, whatever the sin is, God,I want to call on the name of
Jesus right now and I want to beforgiven In Jesus' name, amen.
Let's find us a place to prayEverybody.
If you want to come to thealtar the altars are open let's
come.
Let's find us a place to prayEverybody.
If you want to come to thealtar, the altars are open let's

(41:18):
come.
Let's pray.
Let's make sure.
Let's ask God to save us.
If you've never been born again, ask the Lord to save you and
help you to get born again, right here this morning.
Let's all come, let's find aplace to pray.
Pray however you can prayHowever you feel comfortable

(41:39):
praying, Just pray.
Let's ask God to help us rightnow.
