Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, it looks like we have gone live folks
on this channel. I'm gonna try one more time to
actually sign in to the chat. For some reason, it
won't let me sign in, so before we start this show,
and as I'm gonna let that load as I'm sitting
here talking. So welcome to Hollywood hang Out folks. Appreciate
you guys joining me. Screwed up my chair a little bits,

(00:23):
you guys can hear me a little better. Thanks for
joining me. I am boxman, and like I said, thanks
for joining Hollywood hang Out here. Meant to do this
last night, ended up cavin kind of having a little
date night ish thing with the wife. So decided to
go ahead and do this tonight. And I'm doing another
YouTube show obviously, I'm live on YouTube right now. And

(00:46):
I decided to do another actor spotlight. And this actor
I'm going to focus on tonight is Titus well Ever.
You guys have seen Titus Welliver in plenty of things.
I mean a ton of things. You guys have seen

(01:07):
this him in. You've seen him in TV shows, you
have seen him in movies. You may not recognize him,
but trust me, you have seen this guy in many
TV shows and many things. We're gonna get into everything
I think you've probably seen him in. Hopefully we're gonna
get into everything tonight. Gonna talk a few things that

(01:28):
he's most notable for, and then I will get into
movies and TV shows that I've seen him in. I'll
go ahead and warn you NYPD Blue will come up
a couple of times on this show tonight. We've got
a few Stephen Botchko things to talk about as we're

(01:51):
going through the show that he was. He was obviously
a Stephen Botchko favorite because he was in the early
episodes of NYPD Blue. Even was a repeat character in
a few different episodes, I think a total of eight episodes.
But NYPT Blue didn't have a lot of repeat characters.

(02:11):
Repeat actors, yes, repeat characters, not so much. So Anyway,
I am gonna go ahead tonight and we are gonna
talk as much about Titus Welliver as I think you
guys can stand so. Titus Welliver born March twelve, nineteen

(02:32):
sixty two in New Haven, Connecticut, most probably most known
for playing lapd detective Harry Bosh in the series Bosh
and the sequel Bosh Legacy that was recently out, but
he's been in so many more shows. I mean, he

(02:52):
was Silas Adams in Deadwood, he was Man in Black
and Lost, Jimmy o'fallon's Sons of Anarchy nine. I gotta
admit those are three shows I've never watched, but I should.
But some of the reasons Titus Welliver is just and
by the way, here's a picture of him in Boss,
just so you guys do see it. But a few

(03:15):
of the reasons Titus Welliver is just such an incredible
I mean, I guess you could call him a character actor,
but he's had a few lead roles, like in Bosh.
But with movies, I guess you could call him a
character actor in movies, but he's not just like the

(03:38):
regular character actor. Who oh, I don't know who this
guy is. You probably do know who this guy is.
Like I said, he's just one of those characters that
you remember. He's very versatile. He's done characters from detectives
to bad guys, authority figures, I mean, pretty much everything

(04:04):
you can think of. This guy has played the role
hardened law man, military officials, which he was in Transformers.
We'll talk about that, Antagonists, which I watched a movie
last night we'll talk about later he was in, actually
watched two movies yesterday with him in it. But crime drama,

(04:24):
science fiction, legal thrillers. He's been in all of them.
Like I said, probably most known for the TV series
he did and the sequel Bosh, as we were talking
about a little bit earlier. That's probably what he's most

(04:44):
known for is that show Bosh. But in loss as
the Man in Black, a lot of people remember him,
but he's the kind of actor that just kind of
he's he has a very inten hence kind of demeanor
about him, but it's not like forced, it's not an

(05:07):
overdone intensity. He's got a very gravelly kind of voice,
which makes, you know, makes the character always better. But
he's just that kind of guy that even with a look,
can make a scene great. He's just got a real
strength for making scenes. Whatever he's in, no matter how

(05:31):
short he's in it, he's definitely a memorable part of
that scene. But again, he's got that deep voice that
just carries weight in a scene. And you know, not
like he's this high pitched guy. He's very gravelly voiced
and it just always seems calm yet intense when he's

(05:54):
in scenes, and he can just kind of play with
the emotions of you know, whoever's watching the movie. And
that's you know, just some of the things that makes
this guy just an incredible actor. But again, like I said,
he may not be that lead guy in the show,

(06:16):
but you'll watch something else and you'll be like, oh
my god, I saw that guy in this show that show.
But that's good because he leaves a lasting impression whether
you know his name or not. But he's worked with
a lot of major, major directors and television show runners.
Michael Mann, who we talked about last week with Heat

(06:38):
when we talked about Val Kilner, Ben Affleck, David Miltch
who was another him and Steven Botchko were basically the
creators of NYPD Blue. Raising the Bars was another Stephen
Botchko show. I don't think Milch had much to do

(06:59):
with it, but David Milch had a ton to do
with NYPD Blue. JJ Abrams he's worked with, but he's
I mean, David Miltch was one of them behind Deadwood.
He was in Brooklyn South. Also Titus Wellover was. But
he's just an amazing character that just has power when

(07:21):
he's on on screen and it's like I said, it
can be with maybe a subtle look or an intense look,
but you're watching something you know one and then you,
like I said, you're watching something else and then you're like,
oh my god, I really know that guy. I've seen
him in this and this and that. So definitely you

(07:44):
know a guy we've seen. But you know, you talk
about some career highlights. Will start out with some of
his television highlights. Bosh. We already talked about Man in
Black Lost. He had a pretty pivotal role in that
show that kinda made the show a little more mythical.

(08:05):
I guess you could say Silas Adams Deadwood, very very
gritty character, but of course he plays it well because
he's got that grittiness to him. Jimmy O'Fallon in Sons
of Anarchy. I did not watch that show, but it
says an Irish gun kingpin did not know that he

(08:28):
was in The Goodwife TV show, thor Wall TV show,
Imperial Captain. Now when it comes to film, though, he
was in Gone Baby Gone. Collaborated with Ben Affleck on
that film In the Town. Now, most of you who

(08:50):
heard this show before know that I also do a
wrestling show on Thursdays. Rob van Dam and Batista I
believe were both in that movie. Watched a movie with
Batista and it today Argo and Lived by Night all
with Ben Affleck. Like I said, The Transformers when Michael
Bay Once you get into those Batman, he was the
voice of Carmine Falcone and the animated adaptation Batman The

(09:13):
Long Halloween Excuse Me. But he was raised in a
pretty creative, rich environment, according to most of the articles
I had read. His father, Neil Welliver, was a pretty
big time landscape painter and dean at the University of

(09:38):
Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Fine Art, So he's kind of
always had the artistic thing kind of beating to him
from a young age. But and he pursued drama at
NYU and Arner discraft at HB Studio. He kind of

(09:59):
supported himself himself through bartending and construction jobs, which most
struggling actors and artists do. But he's also an accomplished painter.
It's something obviously influenced by his father, who was a
landscape painter, but he puts some of his personal experience

(10:23):
in here, including he did lose his wife to cancer
and a lot of his art does kind of portray that,
and he brings some of that characters straight to television
shows like Bosch and things like that. But another thing
he has also done in his career that kind of

(10:46):
brings what I was talking about his voice to kind
of to the front. He's done several audio books. He
narrated Robert B. Parker's Western novels Apple Lousa, which was
a movie, Brimstone, Blue Eyed Devil, Iron Horse, Michael Connolly's

(11:07):
BOSH series The Crossing, The Burning Room, The Wrong Side
of Goodbye, so the series from the book has been
you know, he also starred in the show, so it
just kind of made sense obviously that he did. But
he's still working on Bosh Legacy. It just premiered in

(11:30):
March twenty seven, twenty twenty five, so brand news still
and just kind of continuing that decade long journey as
Bosh Watchman. He was just in so that's not even
out yet. He's in a TV another movie called Ricky,
which he's also going to be in. Those are just

(11:52):
three upcoming projects or one already moving project. With the
Bosch now going to get into a little bit of
a few more of the TV shows he's been into.
We already talked about a few of them, but we
haven't gotten into all of them, so let's get into

(12:14):
a few of these. He was also Lex Luthor in Titans.
In the fourth season of Titans, he played the role
of Lex Luthor. He kind of brought that nuanced interpretation
to it, and he's a lifelong fan of Teen Titans,
so it kind of brought you know, he brought that

(12:38):
to the character and made it obviously even better. That
was actually I've already talked about most of the other
TV shows, so really that was the only other one
I wanted to bring up. But now let's get into
against some of the movies. I have not seen most
of these, and then we will get into some of

(12:59):
the movie I have seen with him in it. I'm
not looking to make this a long show tonight, folks.
I've honestly got I'm not even done doing what I
need to do tonight. It's just been a busy weekend
here and we're trying to get rid of our goats
and pigs. If anybody's in the Texas area and wants
any goats and pigs, let me know. I'll bring him

(13:21):
to you, I'll drive him to you, I'll ship them
to you. I don't care. Again, we talked about Gone,
Baby Gone from two thousand and seven. He played a
Lionel McCready. This was Ben Affleck's directorial debut and I've
never seen this, but he was the uncle of a
missing girl and from what I was reading, gave an

(13:46):
incredible performance by all accounts. Now the Town we were
talking about earlier, which was another ben Affleck movie, he
plays detective. Again. He's plays he really plays the law
enforcement figure a lot whether it and it's usually not

(14:08):
a low level cop. I will talk about one movie
we did see him as a cop, but he was
in the Town in twenty ten. Like I said, again,
another ben Affleck movie I've seen. You know, I watched
this movie a long time ago and I don't remember
much of it, but I know there was a bank

(14:28):
robbers and he was trying to catch him. That I
do not read a few articles great now Transformers, Age
of Extinction awesome. He is a little bit of a
badass in this movie. He's got the sunglasses, he's got
the big gun. He plays I'm not even sure what

(14:50):
he plays, but he's part of a government agency and
he's going after Mark Wahlberg. This was the first one
with Mark Wahlberg take over, so this must have been
the fourth one. I think shy le Bouf was in
the first three, maybe two, but this was the first
one where where like I said, Mark Wahlberg took over

(15:15):
and he was a real badass in this one as
James Savoy. He was a bad son of a bitch,
of course until Mark Wahlberg threw him off a roof.
But you know, it's one of those movies. And Live
by Night in twenty sixteen, he played Tim Hickey in
that movie. Another one I haven't seen, but it's a

(15:37):
Prohibition eraic crime drama. Another one directed by Ben Affleck.
Though probably need to watch this one. It sounds like
it's something right up my alley. I probably should take
a look at that, but I just haven't yet. But
those are the Now, let's get into some of the
movies I've seen. We can talk a little bit about

(15:58):
those a little more. Let's start with movies. Let's do this.
You guys ready, We're gonna start with a little movie
from nineteen ninety. We're gonna go all the way back
to nineteen ninety with a little movie called Navy Seals.

(16:20):
This was a crazy movie, folks. It was not great.
It was mostly bashed by critics. You've got Charlie Sheen,
Michael Bean who was the being who was the original
who was in the original Terminator, and Joanne Wally, who
we talked about last week married to Val Kilner. So

(16:43):
this is kind of Tian right in the last week
show a little bit. But you got Dennis Haysburg in
this movie, which I've talked about Dennis Haysbert many times.
Bill packs Bill Paxton, folks, just legendary Bill Paxton. But
this right here is a movie from nineteen ninety. It's
one of those action films. It follows a team of

(17:07):
Navy Seals. They're sent on high risk missions all over
the place, all over the globe, and they rescue some
hostages in the Middle East, and they find some stolen
Stinger missiles and they got to track down and destroy
the weapons, and that goes through this whole thing of
them trying to get back there to destroy them. It's

(17:32):
it was nineteen ninety Hollywood action all the way. But
he didn't play a big character in this movie. To
be honest with you, but he was in this movie
just a little, just a very little bit, and he

(17:53):
was just a quick character, kind of an extra in
the movie Almost Now. He was also in the nineteen
ninety one movie that we're gonna go ahead and talk
about it. Give me one second, I'll jump in here
and we'll talk about another movie that I actually did
watch over the weekend called The Doors. We talked about

(18:14):
this movie in length last week with Val Kilmner playing
the Val Kilmer playing the role of Jim Morrison and
this you know, I hadn't watched this movie in a
long time, and I went ahead and I watched it,
and it really what a performance this guy went through.

(18:36):
I mean, what a performance Val Kilmner went through. Now,
there's a scene in the movie close to the Middle,
a little after the middle, where he's in a bathroom
with a woman and a cop comes in and ends
up macing them. Well, the cop that came in and
mased them was none other than Titus well Over. Very

(18:59):
small part in the movie, but I thought I would
bring it up. Now, another small part he has, but
another very memorable part is a movie called Mobsters. Now,
this is another great movie folks, if you have not

(19:19):
seen Mobsters, it is worth a watch. You have Christian Slater,
Patrick Dempsey, Richard Greco as Bugsy Siegel, and a bunch
of others in this movie. I mean, it's just a
really great mob movie. I mean just it's a great story. Basically,

(19:45):
it follows Christen Slater who's playing Lucky Luciano. Patrick Dempsey
is Meyer, lancetyk Lansky Bugsy Siegel and is Richard Greco,
and Frank Costellano is costas Mandy or Night. He's a
almost looks like I forget that guy's I don't know.

(20:08):
Great actor in this movie though, And this is a
great movie again. It follows a kind of the life
of Bugsy Siegel, Mayo Lansky Light and Lucky Luciano though,
and it kind of goes through how they became the
mafia bosses in the organized crime family. Well at the

(20:29):
end of it, when Christian Slater's standing up there and
after all everybody's taken out, there's a little part where
Titus Weliver plays al Capone right at the end of
the movie. Again, very small part, but if you go

(20:51):
to YouTube, thereas right there as al Capone. I need
a ship. Folks. Al Right, so this is an incredible
movie though, folks even I mean, you don't have to
watch it for Titus Welliver, but if you have not

(21:11):
seen Mobsters with Christian Slater, it is a very very
good story and a very good movie. So worth the watch,
I will say that. So now we go to a
little movie called Mulholland Falls. Now, if you're like me,

(21:32):
a Nick Nolty fan, you'll love this movie. It's Nick Naughty,
It's Melanie Griffith, It's Jennifer Connolly, Michael Madsen, Chris Pantreat, Williams,
Daniel Baldwin, John Malkovich, Chaz Paul Menary, Andrew McCarthy. Folks,

(21:56):
I'm not even done here when I get to the
the actors that are in this movie. It is an
action packed movie. It's kind of a neo New r
or crime thriller. It's all set back in the nineteen
fifties in LA and it's a group of kind of

(22:20):
LA detectives and they're known as the Hat Squad, and
they're led by this character played by Nick Nolty, Max Hoover.
It basically tells all about it's the story when they
find Jennifer Connley's body and they go through and it

(22:40):
talks about military secrets, nuclear testing, government cover ups. It
gets into everything. But again, you have an absolute all
star cast in this movie. Now again it did not
have the big role in this movie, but he had

(23:05):
a pretty you know, a pretty decent role. But justin
this was another great movie though. And I had a
picture of what aer it is right here. Moholland falls there.
He is right there. I forget who he plays in
this movie, but he's one of the gangsters that they
go and interview who was with Jennifer Conley the night before.

(23:27):
Just an incredible movie, though, everybody. Just really if you
like those really gritty, old school, tough guy kind of
mob movies, this is it. This is it. This is
your movie if you want to check this out. Now.

(23:51):
I'm also going to get into a few TV shows
as we're talking about this right now, I'm going to
get into one. Now. I did say I was going
to get into some of the shows developed by Stephen Botchko.
Let's start out with this one, because this one actually
came in the middle of NYPD Blue. This actually lasted

(24:13):
from nineteen ninety five to nineteen ninety seven and it
was a TV show called Murder One. All right, very good,
teav I enjoyed this show, I really did. It had
Mary McCormick in it, Michael Hayden, j C. McKenzie, but
it also starred a gentleman named Daniel Benzally. Deny Benzalie

(24:42):
played an attorney that absolutely despised sippowits Dennis Franz in
Jesus Christ in NYPD Blue, So I was always confused
on why they didn't just bring that same character. But
he plays an attorney named Ted Hoffman again Daniel Benzali,

(25:05):
and it focuses really though deep into the inner workings
of these high profile criminal defense defense law firms, and
it digs the entire season is one case, one trial,
not every week we go to a different one. It

(25:28):
was a very intent show that showed you from episode
one on the whole case from beginning to end. Really
really good. I mean, this was serialized storytelling before it
was common. It had realism that people hadn't seen yet,

(25:50):
and it was an incredible show. Now you even had
Stanley Tucci in this show. You had a lot of
different actors in this show, but Titus well over did
a couple episodes I think maybe two episodes of this show.
But it was just a really, really good TV show.

(26:15):
He was actually on trial. I think this was. I
think it was in the first season. He was one
of the guys that was witnessing. But it's a great
TV show, folks, if you haven't seen it, definitely worth
checking out Murder One. If you can find it. I'm
sure you can somewhere. Now, just go ahead and get

(26:35):
into my show. I know, I know, I've talked about
it a ton of times. I've talked about it on
this show. I've talked about it on a ton of
shows NYPD Blue, Dennis Franz, Gordon Clap those are the
two that were mainly on the show for almost all
the seasons. You had Jimmy Smith's come in for one

(26:56):
character for that played Bobby Simone. You had Mark Paul
Gossler come in for another for John which I'll talk
about him a little bit later. You had a lot
of different things in this show, but in the early seasons,
Andy played by Dennis Franz, had one doctor he could

(27:21):
trust and if you'll give me a minute, I will
get Monahan, Doctor Monaghan. That was his name in this show,
and it was the one doctor Andy always felt he
could trust when something happens. There was one show where
he got his gun tight, his gun was taken and

(27:44):
you know, the doctor, if he wrote it up that
it was Andy's job would have been over. So he
wrote it up different scene I've got here is when
he's sitting there. This is a scene where James got
shot and they took him in. But Titus Welliver was
one of the few on this show that made it
back as the same character. For I would say about

(28:05):
eight episodes. Not many characters came back to do that.
They really didn't a lot of characters. Like I said,
we had reoccurring actors on the show. But even they
would bring back some actors like the next season and
they would be a different character. So either way, this

(28:27):
is I mean, we all know this really is one
of my favorite TV shows. It was twelve seasons aired
from nineteen ninety three to two thousand and five. This
show was known for gritty, gritty series. That's what it
was known for, being a gritty cops show, a procedural

(28:48):
cops show. Broke a lot of the TV standards and
practices back then. They showed a lot of bear but
a lot of nudity, a lot of strong language later
in the shows, you know, in the latter seasons, I
would say season nine, ten, eleven, and twelve, they were

(29:12):
saying bullshit. They were doing all kinds of things on
the show. It was known for breaking boundaries and breaking barriers.
That's what this show was known for. Focused on the
UH Manhattan's fifteenth Precinct and you know, wasn't as procedural
as the show we talked about before Murder One. But

(29:34):
this show was by a lot of police officers, one
of the grittiest and realistic shows out there, and MYPD
Blue when it came to showing what being a cop
in New York, New York City was like. So after that,
he started in a movie. I guess you could call

(29:57):
this a movie. Laurence Laurence Fishburn, Derek Luke, and Orlando
Jones were in a movie where even Kid Rock was
in this movie, folks. I mean, this was a crazy
movie about motorcycles. Titus Wellover played a character called Max

(30:18):
in this movie, a little movie called Biker Boys. That's right, folks,
if you remember this movie, it was Biker Boys with
a z even though you thought that went out in
the nineties, Nope, two thousand and three, they were still
doing it. Now. This is a this is crazy little movie, folks.

(30:40):
It's a good movie. You got motors, you got a
lot of loud motorcycles going through. But it follows Derek Luke,
who plays a character called kid Talented biker uh, trying
to get into the street of illegal street racing. Now
his father died, but he doesn't know that Laurence fish
burn is actually his father, which was a mechanic. But

(31:05):
that's a whole different thing. But Laurence Fitzburne's character is
the King of Cali and this whole movie has him
going through and beating his dad and just to spoil
it for you, because you don't need to watch this movie,
his dad lets him win at the end. Okay, how's
that sound. Hope I didn't spoil it too bad for you, folks.

(31:29):
I hope I didn't. But honestly, if you like motorcycles,
and Lisa Bonnet is in it, and she's pretty skimpy
throughout the movie. Lorenz Tate, who's also another NYPD Blue alumni,
is also in it. But Lisa Bonet is pretty skimpy

(31:50):
clothed in most of the movie. So welcome to check
her out. I know I do when I watch it.
But not a bad movie, folks. I enjoy this movie again,
just like we've talked about, I enjoy bad movies, Folks,
that I always have and I always will. What can

(32:11):
I tell you, folks, I'll always enjoy these bad movies.
It's just something I will do. Now, let's go back,
and we've got another Steven Botchko Jammy jam of a
show that Titus Wellover was in. Again. I think he
was one of those David Milt Stephen Botchko friends. This

(32:32):
is another show with Mark Paul Gossler and Curry Graham
actually was in this show. Now, Curry Graham was Lieutenant
Baale in the twelfth season of NYPD Blue. Again, you
get Steven Botchko or David Milts. They're probably using an
actor you've seen somewhere before if you watch this show

(32:53):
is loaded with characters from NYPD Blue, just loaded with him.
But Raising the Bar was a good show, only lasted
a couple of seasons. It was another lawyer show once
again we were following. It was another legal drama series,

(33:14):
went from September two thousand and eight to December two
thousand and nine. It was quick two seasons.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
It was a little it was almost the same as
Murder One, but not it focused more on his mark,
Paul Gosler's relationships.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
He played Jerry Kellerman. It focused a little more on
him his relationships. But he was a public defender, a
defense attorney in this one, and he was trying to
get promoted to district attorney or whatever he could, ada

(33:58):
whatever he could, but it followed him and followed the judge.
It was a really good show for its time. You
gotta realize this show premiered with seven point seven million viewers.
You got to realize you look at TV shows now,

(34:19):
they don't get that much. You look at like raw
ww raw. I guess like two million that's on Netflix now,
So not the greatest comparison anymore, but you know, used
to get right around the two million, seven point seven.
It was a record at the time for a new
series launched on Basic cable at that time. But overtime

(34:39):
viewership just declined, It just declined. So it went a
total of twenty five episodes and they they they scrapped
the TV show, but he did star in I think
five or six episodes on this show. But it was
definitely definitely another good TV show. And I think that's

(35:03):
all the TV shows we got to talk about. It is, folks.
I promise you just the last TV show we need
to talk about. But uh, and I'm not even gonna
talk about Transformers anymore. I think we know what Transformers is.
But anyway, let's get into another movie he was in
that I actually watched yesterday, a little movie called Red two.

(35:26):
This was the sequel to guess what Red one or
just read I like these movies. You've got Bruce Willis,
Helen Moren, John Malkovich, Anthony Hopkins, Mary Louise Parker, Neil

(35:53):
McDonough who I really like, Neil McDonough ie. One. We
are going to do a show on Neil McDonough There's
a lot I really want to get into with him,
and he's a very I respect the fact that he
has lost jobs over a belief that he will not

(36:14):
kiss another woman on screen. Catherine Zada Jones is in
this movie. Very good movie, very good sequel. Now he's
not in it very long, but he does play the
head of the security for you know, what Give me

(36:37):
a second, and I'll actually just pull it up. Give
me a second. Here we go, Well, senior director of
Military Intelligence. Now, believe it or not, he is uncredited
in this film. But once again, we all know who
this man is. And I'm trying to pay this man respect.

(37:00):
He's sitting here in a scene with Bruce Willis, John Malkovich,
and Mary Louise Parker. Come on, now, come on, now,
you can't beat that. You can't beat that. This man
should be much more accredited. But Red two is a
really fun movie. They're basically retired and extremely dangerous, which

(37:24):
is what Red stands for, and they basically go around
and just try to not be killed. The whole movie
is what it is, so it is a good movie.
I got two more I'm gonna talk about. Once again.
I'm not gonna get into Transformers, folks, we all know
what the Transformers movies are. But I do have a

(37:45):
couple more we're gonna get into real quick now. Escape
Plan is another one. I don't have a picture of it,
but I did have a picture of it. I don't
know where the picture went. I could pull one up.
While I'm talking Escape Plan two. Now, there was an
escape plan. The first one was with Sylvester Stallone and

(38:09):
Arnold Schwartzeneger where they were breaking out of prisons. Well,
I don't know if you guys know, but there was
three of these movies. There were three, believe it or not.
He did a second one and it was with Bautista.
Believe it or not, it was Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista,
Jesse Metcalf was in this. Wes Chatham, who I've seen

(38:31):
in a few things, fifty cent was in this, and
Titus well Ever played a character called Gregor Faust even
But basically what he was in this movie is they

(38:54):
were hunting down Stallone. In the beginning of the movie,
fire is one of his employees hit. His employee ends
up getting a prison that is called Hades. Now one
of Stallone is a specialist at breaking out of prisons.
That's exactly what the whole premise of the escape plan is. Well,

(39:15):
this is an underground prison and this kid has used
all kinds of computers to make his prison break proof,
but it's not. And obviously you get all these guys
they get in prison. Stallone is in it. But basically
there's they call their little fighting ring the zoo and

(39:40):
there's a guy called the zoo Keeper, and that is
what Titus Wellover's character is. He is called the zoo Keeper.
And it's a great listen. If you like stallone movies,
this is one you can check out. I believe these
are on either Hulu or Netflix. All three of these
are on one of them. I'll tell you what, give

(40:00):
me a second, I will find it. I'll find it.
Go right to Google. It is on Well. You can
watch it on Plex if you have Plex, Other's forty
nine more, Fubo, Hulu. It is on Hulu right now.

(40:23):
It is Apple TV. It's on right now, also Sling TV,
all those, Fandango it's on all those. So if you
want to watch the Escape Plan movies, I personally enjoy him.
And if listen, if you like fifty cent, he comes
back for all three of them. He's in all three

(40:43):
of them. I'll be honest. I watched all three of
these yesterday, and I watched all four expendables today. Don't
laugh at me, fuck all of you. Let's get into
the last movie. I saw this guy and recently, and
I gotta tell you what this is a movie. I

(41:05):
did not know existed until last year. I had known
about the movie that Samuel Jackson did for Shaft in
the year two thousand. I knew about that one. He
did it with Christian Bale, and I knew about that movie.

(41:26):
What I did not know is the year before he
did another one with Jesse t Usher Regina Hall, who
I talked about many times. I talked about her just
in Barbershop three or four, whatever you want to call
that one. But he was there was another movie and

(41:53):
one of the bosses, the Special Agent v Y was
of course the man we're talking about, Titus Welliver, the man,
the myth, the legend, once again though, playing an incredible
law enforcement official. It's kind of what he looks like,

(42:15):
it's kind of what he is. He is that law
enforcement official type of guy needed a zip, folks. But
Titus well Ever though, is just once again, folks, he's
that actor that you really you remember him. You may

(42:39):
not remember the name of his character, but you remember
him in many ways. But really, though, that Shack movie
is really good. It's comedy action. I've seen it probably
seven times already, and he just kind of reprised his
role and this is actually, you know, John Schafft Junior,

(43:04):
which who was played by Richard Rowntreew who's also got
a part in this movie, so he plays the grandfather.
And it's just it's it's just a fun movie, folks.
If you like if you like the original Cheft that
was in two thousand, you'll like this one too. But
I really wanted to focus on Titus Welliver again, He's
one of those actors you have seen in a lot

(43:26):
of things. I have seen in a lot of things,
and I do like focusing on these actors that I'm
not gonna say they don't get the credit they deserve,
because I really feel Titus Welliver is one of these
actors that you're just like, oh my god, I know
exactly who he is. I've seen him in this show,
that show. But I like to focus on these guys
that just don't usually get those lead roles very much,

(43:48):
and if they do, they knock them out of the
fucking part. And and even if they take these small roles,
like we've been talking about with Titus Welliver, he leaves
that intensity, he leaves that mark, whatever it might be.
He leaves something with the audience to wear when you're

(44:10):
watching another movie and you see that guy pull up,
you hear that voice, you just go, I know that guy,
and you might look him up. You might go, fuck,
that's Tightus well Over. That's a badass, fucking character actor
or that badass guy from Bosh or my god, he
was a fucking amazing boss when he was in Shaft,

(44:30):
or he was you know, oh my god, his character
and Age of Extinction transformers, My god was such a
badass with you know, just my god, he almost killed
the girl. Just so many things you can think of
with a character like or a or an actor, sorry,
not a character, but an actor like Titus well Over. So, folks,

(44:53):
I hope you enjoyed this, and you know, listen hopefully
when if you listen to this, you'll you'll get a
little more educated on Titus well Over. I know I
didn't dig a lot into his younger life and background
like I did Val Kilner. Honestly, this guy really has
his private life kind of hidden. So I wanted to

(45:15):
just get into his acting career and that's what I did.
So I'll be back here next week, folks, doing something
not one hundred percent sure. I do have a look,
I have actually have one viewer in here. I appreciate
whoever's in here, and I can't see who you are
because I can't sign into this fucking chat. But I'll

(45:38):
figure out what's going on with that a little bit later. Thanks,
whoever's in here, and but I'm gonna go ahead and
wrap this one up. Don't forget. I will be back
here next week, same time, nine thirty pm Eastern time.
I will be back here Saturday. I don't have anything
to do. Might do a movie, might focus on another actor.
Really thinking about jumping in here with a stand up comedy.

(46:01):
One looks like you guys really enjoyed when me and
Anthony went back and did the Eddie Murphy episodes Raw
and Delirious both. I'll be honest with you guys, those
are our two highest downloaded episodes, highest listened to episodes.
I've been watching so much stand up comedy lately. I
could pick through a variety of stand up comedy to

(46:24):
share with you guys. So I might do that. That
might not be a bad idea. And I'll tell you
guys truth, I actually did speak to Anthony. If anyone
remembers back when me and Anthony, I mean, we started
this when it was THHT movie review back those days
and we started this show. I actually did talk to Anthony,

(46:45):
if anyone remembers, we did Days and Confused, and all
you heard in the background right around forty minutes left
to the movie was Anthony going, yeah, he fell asleep.
So we are gonna revisit that. We're gonna do it
here on YouTube, folks. We're gonna revisit that sometime down

(47:08):
the road, not long, hopefully. I'd prefer to do it
sooner rather than later, so we'll revisit that. But hey, folks,
I hope you guys have a great evening, enjoy the
rest of Sunday night, and I will see you guys
here next week. And don't forget Thursday Night's nine thirty

(47:29):
pm Eastern time. You can check out me and Smark
over there on that little thing called YouTube on wrestling
Outlet go ahead and check us out, folks, y'all have
a great night. Appreciate you joining me.
