Robert Riggs - Part Two

Today I am sharing a conversation I had with Robert Riggs. Robert is a Peabody Award-winning investigative reporter that you have probably seen as a guest correspondent on ABC Nightline, CNN, ESPN, CBS, and 60 Minutes. His reporting primarily has focused on the criminal justice system which is what lead him to what he’s doing now. For the past decade, Robert has tracked a serial killer by the name of Keneth McDuff aka The Broomstick Killer, and has exposed the corrupt prison system in Plano TX. Robert created and now hosts a podcast series, The True Crime Reporter which takes you through his investigative journals and behind bars interviews about “the Broomstick killer.” I decided to split our conversation up into two episodes. This first episode is all about his career as a political journalist. What it was like covering Water Gate, the Carer Admin, and our current political climate.
