You are now approaching a large intersection and you need to take the second street on your left, called Des Voeux Road. We highly recommend that you take a tram for two stops from Peddler Street to Bank Street. Any tram will take you to Shau Kei Wan or Happy Valley. We hope you enjoy the ride! The fare is 2.30 HK dollars for an adult and 2.00 HK dollars for a child.Actually, the trams on Hong Kong island are somewhat of an attraction. The fleet consists of vintage, double-decker trams as well as modern aluminum ones, and totals 200 cars. The tram system is the oldest public transport system in Hong Kong. The trams are nicknamed "Ding Ding Trams", referring to the bell used to warn pedestrians and other vehicles of their approach. However, if you do not wish to take a tram, it is only a short walk - about 500 meters. Just follow Des Voeux Road.
