Speaker 1 (00:09):
Most of those among us are happy to walk amongst
the daylight, to do those pedestrian things that most people
call their lives. But some of you, however, wish to
dig deepa into the darkness. That is what we do
here at House of Asher. Won't you join us? Yes, yes,
(00:41):
indeed you are here again with me at the House
of Asher. This is Steve Asher, and I hope you
guys are doing well. I should probably just get out
of the way and say you want to learn more
about me, go check out Steve asher Studio dot com.
That ties in to the books that I have out,
(01:02):
upcoming books, appearances, different things of that nature. Obviously the
House of Ash, your podcast which you are listening to
right now. I definitely want to thank you guys first
and foremost for always having my back, always excited when
a new episode comes out, and always down to interact.
(01:24):
You know, I've had some really interesting ideas and opinions
and things that kind of challenged the way I saw things,
maybe maybe think about things I've never even really thought about.
I know a lot of people right now have their
minds on the California fires. It's bad. It's really bad
(01:46):
out that way. It's at the point now where it
seems like it's ravaged a good part of la and
just it's just gonna just seems like it's just gonna
keep pushing all the way to the ocean. It's it's
really bad. A lot of people have lost their homes
or livelihoods. I am not sure an exact body count,
(02:10):
and there's a lot of a lot of people scared
and displaced. A lot of people are angry. A lot
of people feel maybe it wasn't handled properly. Maybe they're
the infrastructure that was supposed to been there was not
provided the proper means of carrying out what they had
(02:30):
to do. I know a lot of the firemen have
reported that there is a lot of hydrants that weren't
charged or had almost no water pressure to them. And
whether you're left or right or whatever on the political
political spectrum, I tend to be a little bit more
(02:52):
of a centralist with a little bit more conservative leanings.
But that being said, you don't you don't want to
set and watch anybody be burned out of their house
if you've got any kind of heart, any kind of soul.
It was interesting I saw where there were two actors
(03:13):
that are on totally different spectrums of the political background.
And uh, oh, come on, I know this guy, love
love his love his acting. Woods. He was like videodrome,
he was in Vampires, he played Hades and in the
(03:35):
Disney Hercules stuff. Anyway, mister Woods, who is staunchly conservative,
had apparently saw where uh, the actress Alyssa Milano's house
had been just ravaged and she's hecka hecka left wing
land like really super left wing, and uh, he reached
(03:56):
out to her trying to trying to deliver some aid.
That's nice. I like seeing that times like this, you know,
people got to come together and kind of fight all
the hard, hardheartedness and you know, political jockey. But that
(04:17):
being said, let's bring it back, let's pull it back
a little bit more into the paranormal. Let's pull it
a little bit back into the dark and the smoke
and the destruction. I had had a listener who will
(04:37):
just go by the name Lisa p had sent me
some images, which of course is you know, horrifying. Well
I was like, okay, it's interesting whatever, and I'd got
another message back like no, no, really, pull in on
(04:58):
some of the fire, some of the actual walls of flame,
because what people don't understand is you can have a bonfire,
you can have a field fire. Okay, it goes beyond that.
It literally is like a fire storm. It's it's got
its own vortex of winds, it's got its It literally
feels like it's something alive. And people don't understand there
(05:21):
are really strong winds and you know California, and it
just whips it up and it just eats everything it
can find. That pen said, I'm checking it out, and
she said, do you see anything any kind of imagery?
You know, you see streaks and lines and over overlapping
(05:43):
things and billowing smoke. And I was like, where are
you trying to show me? So apparently she had the
ability to kind of draw around the image, just reseent
me the image, to which I'm like, oh wow, okay, okay,
what what am I seeing here? And they felt they
(06:04):
were seeing something demonic? Okay, you know how I feel
about most of this demonic stuff. I'm not saying it's
not real or that it's not possible. I just don't
think it's as frequent as these guys that are trying
to hawk their freaking paranormal show or go, oh, well,
it could be a ghost or it could be a demon,
(06:25):
because demons are very hot. We want to get that
demonic dollar right now, that's you know, that sexy demon dollar.
So you know, if it if it, if it bleeds,
it leads. That's what they used to say in the
newspaper game. So I'm like, I don't know. I mean,
it's definitely freaky looking. Now this person does come from
(06:49):
a religious background, which is I'm sure going to color
their view a little bit. But once you kind of
see it, it's kind of it was I could see it,
and it wasn't just that picture. There were various distant,
different pictures to where it seemed to be a face
looking kind of three quarters away from the photographer, and
(07:12):
then the next images it's almost like it realized it
was being watching. It turned toward the camera with the
with the evilest look, almost like a demonic grin on
its face. That was kind of hard. That was kind
of hard to push off. And you can say whatever
(07:32):
you want to about behavior and the whole concept of
you know, Hollywood or hollyweird or whatever you want to
call it, but that was dark. That was freaking dark
and to seemingly have a reaction or an acknowledgment from
(07:55):
basically living fire, which that's not to be confused with
like wollow wisps and all that. Uh, that was very bizarre.
So I am curious what you guys think. You guys
can always leave comments, you know, contact me on my
on my Facebook. All I ever asked is that you
come at me with some civility. I've had to block
(08:18):
some people recently who were being ugly, and that's okay
if you if you can't maintain, we don't need you there.
But other than that, it's an open door policy. I
love to hear from you guys. But it was. It
was really strange. And I've seen images at other locations,
(08:39):
not just in California, are from previous fires, previous that
had a seeming seemingly intelligent sentience present, sentient presence to it.
If you talk to anybody who's a firefighter, and you know,
(09:00):
I have a lot of friends that are in mts,
a lot of friends that are cops, a lot of
friends that are firefighters, a lot of cops, people that
are investigators, detectives, social workers. Okay, that's just all that stuff.
Ties in nurses got to love those nurses, right, they've
seen some crazy stuff, well, you know, and they all
(09:20):
talk about you know, if you've ever been in a
fire situation or a burning house or whatever, it really
it can change directions in a heartbeat, it can come
up out of nowhere. And yeah, it's just it's it's
a beast, it really is. There's no way, there's no
way you'd have me walking into a burning house. Uh uh,
(09:43):
not this guy. But maybe there's something to be said
for it, you know. I know people used to do
sacrifices on burning wood, burning alters. That's one of the
old school ways of doing it. You feed it to
the fire, you know, even in oh Jewish traditions. You know,
(10:06):
you burn the fire, you get the best smelling woods,
and it's an offering, offering to God. There's even been
talk that these fires aren't natural. I mean, they are
supposedly have found people setting fires. And I say supposedly
(10:27):
because I don't know for sure, but supposedly these guys
were decked out in fire gears so they could really
get up in there and do what they do. It
was seemingly seemingly a planned out situation. At least some
of it. I don't know if somebody maybe took the
advantage of the situation. I really don't know, but it's awful.
(10:52):
You really don't have the soul of you if you
do that. I I knew some arsonists in prison, and
they were different, but a hand you know, some of
those guys were repentant and realized maybe they had a
mental illness and sought treatment. But this seems different somehow.
(11:17):
I don't know. Maybe it's me. Maybe it's just because
I'm an older guy now, Maybe I just I see
things differently. But I am curious what you think about it.
And I definitely want you to guys, want you, guys,
to get back in touch with me. But if you
have the opportunity to go up there, get some sun
on your face, enjoy the beautiful clear skies if you've
(11:40):
got them. And if you're somewhere where the fires are at,
please be safe and I'll pray for your family. But
as the sun sets behind the pines and the shadows
grow along, make sure to look down your hallway, look
out across your field, across the hilltops, watch the skies,
my friends, you never know what might be coming. Maybe
(12:01):
it's a peaceful night. Maybe something waits for us the darkness,
something burning to get us. But I love you all,
thank you for being here, and I want to remind
you all to please stay scared.
