Speaker 1 (00:02):
This is Hungry Gen podcast, and I just want to
thank you for joining us today here at HG. Our
vision is to see thousands say locally and millions globally.
We hope you enjoyed this week's message.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Come on now, I want us to give God some
praise and some glory. Can we give our King of
Kings and our Lord of Lords the praise that he deserves?
Can we shut and remind the devil that he is
underneath our faith?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Can you remind me, ane me that.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Jesus has a final Say he has a factory.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Can I hear your price? Can I hear your.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
PROPHESI and say that Jesus is Lord, that Jesus raids
in this place.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Amen, he is King, and he is the Lord of Lords.
He deserves all our praise and all our honor. Amen.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
I know maybe some of you may feel tired, maybe
some of you feel exhausted, But he is King, and
you are taking back territory. See here we are in Tacoma.
See it's very prophetic because as we are here even
even praising the Lord, as people outside are celebrating Halloween.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
On October thirty first, we.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Were making a proclamation that Tacoma and rent him.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
And the northwest is for the Lord.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Amen, that Jesus is Lord, and we're taking back territory.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
That any intimidation of the enemy.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Has to bow at the feet of Jesus. Every spirit
of witchcraft will bow to the name of Jesus, and
every new age idle will know.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
The God, the ancient of days. And then the line.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Of the tribe of Judah has said in Revelations five
to five that he has won the victory, that he
has the victory. So I want to tell you today
and to encourage each and every one of you that
has received deliverance. See, Jesus is not done yet. The
service isn't over.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
He wants to pour out his spirit onto us, and
he wants to show his glory so that you can
leave this place and be.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
A carrier of his glory.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
That when you go back home, when you go back
to the situation that maybe you came from, and things
haven't changed. See, you have that oppression left, Amen, that
addiction left, and you put it at the altar.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
But what you're gonna go back to maybe things haven't
really necessarily changed. But see, the enemy isn't done he's angry,
he's frustrated with what was taking place. Let's be real here, amen,
he's frustrated. He knows that he is defeated. He knows
(02:54):
that his time ran out with you in your generation line.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
He knew that when you came here.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
That's why so hard, that's why you had so much trouble,
because he knew that when you came here you would
receive the generational blessing, that you would see the promise.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Unfold in your life.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
He knew, he knew, and he's watching at this very moment,
and he's saying and whispering to some of you even
right now, even yesterday, Oh, I.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Don't know if I'm really fully delivered.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
You know, this demon was operating in my family's life.
Some of you even came up to me and said,
I don't know, because I've had this demon operating in
my family line for so long. I don't know if
I'm going to be able to handle it going back home.
But cannot tell you is that the devil can scheme
(03:47):
all day, and he can have all those things. But
God has given us strategies and tools to fight and
to stand our ground. See, we're gonna go back from
where we need deliverance to dominion.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Amen, from deliverance to dominion. The deliverance is the doorway,
not the destination.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
It is the beginning of something wonderful that you're going
to begin to rebuild what the enemy has destroyed through
the past generations. And the Lord saw and you heard
on Friday many testify that God chose me to break
the generational curse of my family bloodline.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
God has chosen you to be here to break the
things that have been happening in your family bloodline. Amen.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
I want you to turn to your neighbor and say
God has chosen you. Turn to your other neighbor and
say God has chosen you. The moment a person experiences freedom,
Heaven celebrates. Heaven celebrates. But the enemy strategizes, yes, we
(04:57):
know this. I want us to go. How many of
you have ta and brought your word, brought the Bible here, Amen,
brought your sword.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
Let's have it. Everybody brought their sword. Come on, come on,
let's raise them. Amen.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
I want you to go to Ephesians with me, real quick, Ephesians.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
See.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
The enemy strategizes, he knows, he studied you. He schemes
all day and the word scheme, if I could just
go down just to literal meaning. The root word is
meta after beyond a methodea methodea, and the literal meaning
is a following after a methodical plan, crafty strategy, or
(05:44):
systematic deceit. See, since you have been born, he has
been studying you, since you have been born.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
When you were sleeping, he was planning.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
He was strategizing against you. And when to have that
moment when you would turn seven would go upside down,
he knew.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
And he was strategizing. He's very methodical.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
That can I tell you is that Lord has given
us certain strategies against the enemy, so that when you
go home today and when you're gonna fight this week
or the things that are going to unfold, you're ready.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Amen. And I want to take you to Ephesians.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Chapter six, Ephesians chapter six, verse ten through fourteen, And
I want us to read from there and say, finally,
be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Put on the full armor of God, so that.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
You can take your stand against the devils schemes. For
our struggle is not against fresh flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of
this drug world and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Come on.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Therefore, put on the full of God, so that when
the day of evil comes, not if, but when you
may be able to stand your ground, and after you
have done everything to stand to stand your ground. You know,
we've been doing deliverance for quite some time, and I
(07:21):
can share with you a personal testimony that I have
witnessed myself. One young lady came and she had severe anxiety.
I'm talking about where she started to waiver to the
place of crazy. Okay, she had such anxiety that she
began to be very fearful, become to a place of panic,
and have episodes where I mean it just it wasn't rational,
(07:46):
it was completely irrational.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
She lost and became I.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Would say, like she was becoming crazy. Her family started
to get concerned, and so she came and received deliverance
from the spear of anxiety. Amen, it lifted off, It
came off completely, hallelujah. But the very next day she
went on her way to do her you know, running
(08:11):
her errands, and.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Hobby lobby was one of them.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
So there she is in hobby lobby and she's on
in the aisles looking for things, and all of a
sudden boom, the anxiety hits her and she begins to
have a panic attack, and the exact same emotions that
she was experienced she experienced the day after her deliverance.
And guess what the enemy loves to do to deceive you, Right,
(08:37):
he's the father of lies and he deceives.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
And so there she is in the middle of hobby.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Lobby having to fight this thought that she really didn't
get delivered. But thank you Jesus, we told her that
you stand your ground. And I said, anything that comes back,
you say, you have to go.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
I am free, and I am free indeed.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
And so there she was proclaiming in the hobby lobby aisle,
don't care what was on her left or right, And
she saysays, you devil, you have to go. You have
no place here anymore. And guess what the devil left?
That oppression came off of her. Amen, Can we give
God some praise? The reason why I share with you
(09:26):
this this testimony because this happens quite frequently. Someone also
had been healed from a back pain and they had
it was like at a level eight they had some
disks issue, and so they received full freedom right there,
and then the prayer line. They went back to the hotel,
and the pain came back. See the enemy's gonna say
(09:47):
will you take this lie and partner with it. He's
gonna be knocking on the door and say will you
partner with it? And so she stood and says, this
is not my pain anymore.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
In the name of.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Jesus, you gotta go. And she stood her ground and
it left. See, I have countless of testimonies that I
can share with you that this has happened.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
So this is not to.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Cause you to be afraid, but to remind you who
you are, the child of the most High God, and
remind yourself that you have the victory, that you have
been set free.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
And the enemy will try to.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Come and lie, But what we must do is tell
him where he belongs, and that is under our feet.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Amen. The strategies of the enemy will.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Be deception as the one that I told you, distraction, discouragement,
and destruction. As it says in John ten that the
enemy has come to.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Kill, steal, and destroy.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
But Jesus and his purpose, he has come to give
you an abundant life. Amen, but the deception. See, in
order for us to stand our ground, we have to
know the truth and we have to proclaim the truth.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Amen. That is our weapon, is truth against the lie.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
But if we don't read his word, knowing his word,
we got to stand on the word, right.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
We got to stand our ground on the truth.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
We got to stand our ground on what he says,
not what the enemy tries to say.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Amen. He can try to roar, but it is our.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Job to stand our ground and to profess and confess
his word anytime he tries. Amen, speak it, don't just
know it. You know. When Jesus was tempted, Jesus answered,
it is written. Jesus defeated every Satanic strategy by declaring
scripture aloud. Say, anytime phantom pains or even that feeling
(11:43):
comes upon you and it overwhelms you, stand your ground.
Turn to your neighbor and say, stand your ground.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
The second strategy, which leads to what I was already saying,
is to know your authority, that you are the child
of the most High God.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
That he calls you his very own. Amen.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
I'm going to share its personal testimony with me, just
to give an understanding of this is that I was
raised in a Christian home, but I truly got saved,
radically transformed at the age of fourteen when I gave
my life to Christ that hungry generation Pasco. And even
though I was raised Christian, I didn't know much about
(12:30):
the power of prayer or reading the Bible and having
a personal relationship with God. About six months in, as
I'm trying to go deeper being part of the youth,
I run into this very interesting situation. I'm at a
church and I'm by myself in this area, and all
of a sudden, this drunk person comes and I know
(12:52):
that they're under the influence, and.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
They come to me and say, will you pray for me?
And I'm like, uh, okay, sure.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
So I laid my hands and just prayed, and I said,
you know the things that I was hearing.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
You know, the only thing I knew at.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
The time was our Father, who are in heaven, and
I would repeat it. Didn't know much, but I just
started to repeat what I heard in my pastures pray
and I said, in the name of Jesus, the Blood
of Jesus, we just you know, I just started saying
these things, and I just said in the name of
Jesus Lord, touch his heart, touch his life, and the
(13:29):
blood of the lamb, just to come over him. And
all of a sudden, he lifts up his head, looks
me straight in the eyes and says, who are you.
I got so scared and jumped back, and I was like,
what was that. I felt like the enemy was staring
right at me, and I was like, oh my gosh.
(13:52):
And all of a sudden, as I jumped back, I
heard a prompting tell him.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
That you're the child of God, and mind you. I
didn't know the word very much.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I didn't know I much at all, but I heard
this prompting inside my spirit, tell him you're a child
of God. And saved by the bells. Somebody else came
and all of that just got dismissed.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
I'm like, oh, thank you God. I don't even know
what happened there.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
But the next day I tell my grandfather, my grandfather
at the time, who was still alive.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
He was a great man of God, and I told
him this situation and he says, you know what you
should have told him that demon is that you are
a child of God.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
And I just got chills all over my body and
realized that I heard from the Lord. But then I
also realized something else, is that there's no junior. Holy
Spirit doesn't matter what age you are, no matter how
long you've been a child of God. I understood. One
thing is that the enemy knows that once you become his,
(14:53):
and that Jesus is lord of your.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
Life, He's afraid he knows who you are. Do you.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Cannot repeat that? Do you know who you are? Because
he does? So. It doesn't matter if you just got
saved last night, if you just got set free yesterday.
Cannot tell you that you are the child of God.
And if you say devil you must go, he goes.
And if you tell him you're under my feet, he's
under your feet. Amen, stands your ground and know your authority.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
You're the child of the most High God.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Luke Tan eighteen twenty says verse nineteen. Look, I have
given you authority over all the power of the enemy,
and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them.
Nothing will injure you. But don't rejoice because evil spirits
obey you. Rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Galatians for sixty seven. And because we are his children.
God has sent the spirit of his son into our hearts,
prompting us to call out Abba Father.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Now you are no longer a slave.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Come on, you are no longer a slave, but God's
own child and students. You are his child. God has
made you his heir. Hallelujah.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
You are no longer a slave to sin.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
You are no longer slave to those substances. You are
no longer a slave to that pornography addiction. You are
no longer a slave to the things that.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
The enemy has bounded you.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
That chains and the shackles are off in the name
of Jesus. Proclaim that after today, that when you feel
defeated or discouraged, remind him that He is under your feet,
stands your ground, know your authority. And number three is
put on the garment of praise. The third strategy that
(16:52):
we must use against the enemy is praise the Lord
in all things all times. When you are praising the Lord,
you trouble the devil more than he can trouble you.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
He hates worship, He hates praise. You know.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Isaiah sixty one three is a beautiful scripture on the.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Power of worship and the power of praise.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
If we can go there Isaiah sixty one to three,
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment
of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Come on,
(17:40):
and a garment of praise instead of spirit of despair.
As I said earlier, the enemy loves to deceive.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
And one of this, the next one that I was
talking about, is discouragement. See as I said, you have
left different. Amen, you're leaving different.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
But you might be going back to a broken marriage.
You might be going back to a son that is homeless.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
You might be going back and you're on the verge
of bankruptcy.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
You might be going back and you have to check
the medical report. You might be going back to a
situation that, even though you forgave your mother, your mother
has disowned you. You might be going back to a
very discouraging home. But can I tell you, in the
moment of despair, if you can give him the praise,
(18:34):
the way to overcome that despair is to praise him,
is to give him glory every time you worship him,
and remind the enemy and yourself who truly is the
King and the Lord of your life. You remind him
that he knows all things, that he is the author
(18:54):
and the finisher of your faith.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
That whatever he has started, he will finish. In the
name up Jesus, that.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
At every air that he has heard in heaven, he
hears all your prayers. And it's not going towards the wall,
it's going into his ear and he hears them. And
the time will come where those things will manifest in
your family life.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
See, there's power in testimony, and I want to share
the power of testimonies where you know, one of the
things of being a leader and a pastor in a
church you see many things and sometimes you see the
unfortunate side of things as well. We have to go
to not just weddings, but funerals. We have to go
to the hospital because we get a call and say
(19:37):
my son died. Can you please come here where we
see fathers having to be you know, where daughters have
to bury their fathers before their time. We've seen things
and saw things and there's so much sorrow and despair.
But in those moments I got to witness something that
(19:57):
the people that had pain and sorrow, their hands were
lifted to Jesus and they were praising him, and they
were worshiping him and exalting him. And I would watch
and I would see these things in hospital rooms, I
would see them in their personal home, and I would.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
See this over and over again.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
And the time came in my life where I lost
and I miscarried my son, and I went through this deep.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Level of sorrow.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
It took over my physical body where I couldn't even
lift my hands because sorrow overtook me. You know, But
God is so good he won't allow you to slip away.
So when I couldn't handle it in the day, he
visited me in the night, and I would have dreams
of hearing angels in heaven worshiping the Lord.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
My spirit was praising in the night. I was worshiping
Jesus in the night.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
And then the next day I would hear in my
dream worship and praise. My spirit was praising the Lord
through the midst of my grief, and every time I
would wake up, I would get stronger in my spirits.
And then the Scripture came into manifestation in my life,
the Proverbs three five, where I will not lean on
my understanding, but I will trust in the Lord with
(21:15):
all of my heart.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
And so I will trust in his character. I will
trust him in my despair. I will trust him in
the moment of grief. I will trust him in the
moment of loss, or when things don't go according.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
To plan, I will trust him.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
See, our understanding is very limited. It's capped based off
of experiences and knowledge or lack of But when we
lean into him and we trust his character, we trust
into his glory and we praise them through the despair,
(21:53):
we praise them through the sorrow, and he says, my
promises of God have died.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
I want to tell you what. Jove's my redeemer lives.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
What was buried, what was lost, God will redeem and
he will make it better than the original plan. So
whatever the promise you're holding onto, whatever you're holding onto,
God is going to do it even greater in measure
because He is good, because he is a kind God,
and he goes from glory to glory.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
He is the God that we can praise through every season,
through every misunderstanding or lack of knowing what's going on.
So when you go back home and you're feeling discouraged,
I want you to turn on that praise music in
your living room. I want you to turn that worship
music in your car and praise him through and change
(22:45):
the atmosphere and.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
To remind the enemy that he has no place in
your home. That man my house will serve the Lord.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
That man in my house will declare that.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
Jesus is Lord.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
So when you have a moment, turn on that worship.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Music and praise him through. Praise him.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
Don't have to understand, but just trust him that he's
gonna pull you through into the next season.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
And he's gonna make a way when there is no way,
because he is the way. Here is the truth, and
here is the life. And he's gonna bring spirit of
life and to your child. He's gonna bring spirit of
life and to your home. That is our Lord.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
So praise him through. That is our weapon of warfare.
Praise him, Praise him, and worship him.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Amen. Number four, Be alert to an attentive.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
As it says in one Peter five eight, stay alert,
watch out for your great enemy, the devil, for he
prowls around like a roaring.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Lion, looking for someone to devour. He's looking.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Yes, we don't have to be fearful, we don't have
to look behind every bush that oh that's the devil.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
No, no, no, no. But we are alert and attentive.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
See, we have the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and
it's time for us to tap into it. Where you
have prophetic insight, you know it before it happens.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
You're a watchman over your home. You know ahead that.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
The enemy is planning, and he has an agenda. But
you have an agenda as well, and you say, I'm
going to defeat this. This is not coming into my home,
this is not coming into my body, this is not
coming into my generational line.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
And then you're being alert and attentive.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
See, as soon as you leave here, I even advised,
some of your exes will.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Call you Block, thank you, thank you. Block. Oh he's
on speed dial. He's going through something.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Let him go to Jesus, seriously, let him, let him
let her.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
No, I'm serious. It is so funny that after encounters.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
We go through three days of warfare, breaking things, and
all of a sudden you get what you wanted.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
That X calls all of a sudden.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Those things, oh that person, that group of friends find
you all of a sudden. It's easy to get that
substance where you're like, oh, before it was a struggle.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Whatever it is.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Be alert and attentive, don't fall pray to the enemies
saying that this is a good fix, saying no, that's
going to break me, not fix me. I just went
through a complete you know, prayer line. I'm done, so
block them. Be alert and attentive. Go ahead, be a
watchman and see before what's going to happen.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
Don't do those things what you used to do. Be
on guard, Be alert and be attentive.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Number five is church and connecting to life group.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Being connected to the right things Amen.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
First Corinthians fifteen thirty three, evil company, correpts, good habits,
good character. This means we have to choose the kind
of people we spend time with. Church and connecting to
life group. Get rooted, accountability, mentorship.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
A place to serve and have purpose.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Just like Brandon was talking about, he has purpose his life.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
He has a major calling on his life.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Just these testimonies, and your home will have testimonies.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
See.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
The thing is is that after COVID happened, something interesting
happened in the Pacific.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Northwest, more so the world, more so our nation.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
But I noticed something happening and trickling in our society

Speaker 3 (26:38):
They idolize isolation.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
There's an idol of isolation that people don't they cancel plans.
They are literally idolizing the idea of Netflix, and it's
just them themselves and mourning in their moment, and it
became an idol. And it's very difficult to break here
because they say it's better to be alone than to
get hurt and to get offended. And this isolation started
(27:05):
to creep into our society where it's idolized now. But
can I tell you that it's not the word of God.
It does not match because he says it is not
good for man to be alone, as it says in
Genesis one. He made and designed us to have each
other and to have community. But because of offense creeped
in because of isolation.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
Looks good, so it seems. But can I tell you
the enemy loves to plaw on those that are.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
Isolated because it's easier because you have no one telling
you your blind spots, so you stay stagnant, you go
in circles instead of going upwards. Because there is power
and accountability. There is power in mentorship. There is power
when you are weak. Someone else's faith can be your
strength when they are hurting. When you're doubting, they said that,
(27:51):
don't you worry. I'll carry you in this season. I
will pray when you can't pray. I will hope for
you when you can't hope, because my prayers can go
to heaven as well.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
There is power in community. There is power in accountability.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Not only should you stay on ground, but you should
get grounded in a church.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
No church hopping?
Speaker 2 (28:12):
No, oh, I did used to go to church? No
do you go now? Do you go to a place
where you can grow? Do you go to a place
where you.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Can receive and learn and be able to express your
gifting as well?
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Surround yourself, challenge yourself today.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Don't make an excuse. Well, I've been hurt.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
I want you to believe today that you will heal
from every offense. And I told someone just the other day,
I said, do you love this church?
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Yes? Do you are you growing? Yes?
Speaker 2 (28:41):
And I say, well, then protect it at all costs.
Don't let someone's opinion make you walk away. That's the
enemy using their mouthpiece as Satan to destroy your future.
Protect what God is building inside of you. Protect the
church that you're going to. If there is a fence,
I want you to learn to shake it off. We
got to shake off those things because enemy uses that
(29:03):
to destroy us from going into community. Amen, and I'm
almost finished. Number six Ephesians five eighteen. Be filled with
the spirit. Don't be drunk with wine because that will
ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.
(29:25):
Be under his influence, not a substance influence.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
See, all of.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
Those substances are a masking of pain. But when you
go into his presence, he removes all pain. You don't
have to mask, you don't have to hide, you don't
have to be in those things.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
He wants you to have a relationship.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
With you, because the point of pursuing deliverance is not
just to get delivered, but to come to a place
of deeper relationship and communion with the Lord. Because the
enemy wants to come after your relationship with him with God.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
He's after that, so he oppresses you.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
He lies to you, he deceives you, he distracts you,
He does everything he can to keep you away from
him because he knows that When you have a strong
relationship with the Lord and he fills you with the spirit,
nothing can get to you.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
You shake things off. You begin to fly on a different.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Level because you're like, that's okay, Jesus is Lord. You
begin to praise him. You begin to know the truth,
and the truth will set you free. You begin to
take more territory. You begin to take territory over your health,
territory over your emotions, territory over your soul, territory over
your mind. He knows that when you are in communion
with the Lord, you remain in him and He remains
(30:45):
in you.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
As it says in John fifteen, you live in a
place of overflow.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
The Holy Spirit the keeper of your freedom.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
He is your helper.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
See when I mentioned when I miss carried my son,
I was not doing good in that season. But he
would not let me slip. And Holy Spirit was helping
me in that area. I couldn't do myself. So he
would visit me in the dreams.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
He would bring people to encourage me. He would give me.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Promises and to look ahead. Amen, he will do those things.
Because our Holy Spirit is a helper, He is an advocate,
He is your protector.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
He is your teacher, he is your reminder.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
He is all those things, and he wants to manifest
all those things.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
In your life.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
He wants all of those things to be manifested in
your life Romans eight twenty six.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weaknesses.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
No one's expecting you to be strong every single day
after today.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Let's be real. Can I be real with you? Guys?
Moments of weakness.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
But it says in Romans eight twenty six that the
Holy Spirit is what our helper in our weaknesses, in
our weaknesses, that means he knows what you're gonna struggle
before you even see.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
That day come.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
He knows everything before you even say it, and before
you think it.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Go to him, Run to him, run fast to him,
and say help me. I am drowning.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
I am not doing good today. I don't understand this situation.
In everything, let him be the center of it all.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
See. One of the things about him is that he
empowers your will.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
See when oppression happened to you, the enemy and the
demonic entity bended your will. When you were oppressed, it
bended your will. But when Holy Spirit comes, he empowers
your will.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
What you thought you could never say no to He
empowers your will.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
Amen, you can't fight spiritual battles in your own strength.
He enables your yes to God and your no to sin.
He wants to be closer to you. He wants to
communion with you that when you're driving in your car
dropping off your kids, or you're going to your eight
(33:27):
to five, or you're strarding that new career path, or
you have.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Children that you're struggling with and you don't know how
to help them.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
You don't know how to overcome in your marriage, you're struggling.
You can't seem to find a way out. But can
I tell you that Jesus wants to give you insight
to every problem that you're facing. He wants to begin
to tell you wisdom and direction that you could have
never thought of your own. Not one book can write
(33:55):
or place that revelation and say this is how to
do it in this season. Holy Spirit does that He
gives you the insight that you need with every time
you raise your children, in every season of your marriage,
in every financial situation, in your.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
Health journey, in every area of your.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Life, involve Holy Spirit. Say Holy Spirit, I partner with you.
I don't want to do this alone. Show me what
I don't know, Show me how you see me, Show
me why I don't know. Lord, help me see me
the way you see me. Help me see the situation.
Help me see my husband the way you need me
(34:36):
to see him. My children, what is the vision that
you have for them? You can't make that up on
your own, but you can tap into the spiritual realm
of insight, of wisdom and.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
The Word of God and begin.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
To prophesy and proclaim a building of your family, a
building of your child that you see something in them
that they don't see in themselves. And that doesn't come
from the world. All that comes from a holy Spirit.
It comes in and saying, Lord, I will abide in you,
and I'll be aware of you in everything that I do.
(35:09):
And you go from glory to glory, you go from
breakthrough to breakthrough.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
You go from people say what is going on?
Speaker 2 (35:15):
And you'll be like a Joseph where Pharaoh will know
that God is with them. That you will be distinguished
amongst the people that you are with because you operate different,
because you have the Holy Spirit, and not just the gifts,
not just the prophetic, not just the gift of faith
(35:35):
and all of those things that have its place. We
also want to do something special today is that we
want to pray with you that those that don't know
how to pray in tongues, we want to do an
outpouring of His spirit to pray over you. The importance
of speaking in tongues. Can I just take you to
Acts two twenty four in just a second, and I
(35:56):
want you.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
Guys to rise up on your feet as I'm gonna
say the scripture.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
And I want you guys to get ready, because the
Lord is going to begin to pour his spirit in
in areas that you thought were already consolidated. But he
wants to touch and go deeper. See there's deep, deeper
and deepest. Can I tell you there's more? Can I
tell you that there is more for you, That there
is more of his presence, that he wants us to
(36:24):
be a carriers of his glory.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Turn to your neighbor and say, there's more.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
There's more for your family, There's more for your children,
there is more for your future.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
There is more.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
As it says in Acts two four, suddenly all the
believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly there was
a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm,
and to fill the house where they were sitting. Then
(37:04):
what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and
settled on each of them, and everyone present.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Was filled with the Holy Spirit. I'm gonna say that again.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and
began speaking in other languages as the Holy save.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Them this ability. See praying in the spirit and speaking
in tongues. Why does it matter? Why does it matter.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
I'm just gonna give you a couple of scriptures and
we're going to pray together in just a moment. Tongues
build your inner man one Corinthians fourteen four.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves. Just as exercise.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
Strengthens your body, praying and tongue strengthens your spirit. See
when you're feeling you're having intrusive thoughts, When I used
to battle with intrusive thoughts, I felt compelled to start
speaking in tongues. I began to pray in tongues until
then trusve thoughts left. It is a tool that the
Holy Spirit wants to give you that anytime you have
(38:07):
intruse thoughts or heaviness.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
That that is a tool that you will were able
to overcome. It builds your inner man.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
Tongues align with you with God's perfect will. As it
says in Romans eight twenty six twenty seven, the Spirit
helps us in our weakness. The Spirit himself intercedes for
us through worldless groans.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
When you when you pray in tongues.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
You bypass your understanding and pray God's will directly come on.
Tongues keep you spiritually alert and filled. But you, beloved,
building yourselves up on your.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
Most holy faith.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Praying in the Holy Spirit Jude one twenty tongues bring.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Rest and refreshing. For with stammering lips in another tongue.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
This is the rest, This is the refreshing, I say
at twenty eight eleven.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
Tongues connects you to the power source. I'm going to
end there, but.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on
you x one eight and as it says and two four.
But they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and
began to speak in tongues. The Holy Spirit feels you
not just to feel his presence, but to.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
Function in his power.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
But to function in His power God is raising up
a generation that will say, Lord, I will no longer
be a victim, but I'm a victor. I will be
your soldier, I will be your warrior, and I will
proclaim and I will make away with you Jesus, in
my home, in my school, in my everywhere that I go.
(39:51):
Jesus is asking that it is time, Church, It is time,
children of God, that God is calling you and saying
that will I be.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
Able to through you?
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Will I be able to guide you through life.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
I don't want you to do this alone.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
I want to see you as a victor, not as
a victim, because once again He wants not to just
have presence dwell with you.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
But for you to function in His power. And I
want us in just this moment.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
He is here in this place, and he wants to
pour out his spirits, and I want you just to
lift up your hands and as we sing this song
and say, Lord, I am ready, Lord, I am ready
to be a carrier of your glory.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Lord.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
I am ready not to be a victim, but a
victor in the blood of Jesus, in being a son.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
And daughter of God.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Lord, I am ready in Jesus name, begin to praise him,
begin to worship him in Jesus' mighty name.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
