Speaker 1 (00:02):
This is Hungry Gen podcast, and I just want to
thank you for joining us today here at HG. Our
vision is to see thousands save locally and millions globally.
We hope you enjoyed this week's message.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Thank you all for being here.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
My name is Caleb Savangrin and I am fifteen years old.
I live in the great city of Benton City, Washington,
where I'm an understame club leader in that high school.
We've been seeing massive revival. There is such a privilege
to be involved in such an amazing movement. Speaking of privilege,
I have the privilege to share a small word with
all of you guys here today. So the title of
(00:37):
my message is breaking down bitterness. Now, I believe family
and friends are a divine blessing. However, it can be
easy to grow bitter towards some of them. As many
of you know, I'm homeschool and I'm with my family
ninety nine percent of the time and I love them
to death, but sometimes a little distance makes a heart
go fonder.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Amen, Society, I feel like the Lord.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Has graced me with the ability to keep a right
heart towards my siblings, towards my parents, and people outside
of our family. So today I want to share with
you some heart guarding tips that the Lord has taught me.
Now In Matthew eighteen, versely says, then he said, I
tell you the truth. Unless you turn from your sins
and become like little children, you will never get into
the Kingdom of heaven.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Children have great, many, great godly.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Characteristics, but the one I want to hone it on
today is their willingness to forgive.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
How quickly they forgive children.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Are a direct reflection of how God wants us to be.
He says, unless you become like little children, you will
never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Now, one of
the main reasons people fall away or are hindered in
their walk with God is unfortunately hurt and offense. So
today I want to expose an attribute of offense called bitterness.
The first thing I want to submit to you today
(01:51):
is what is bitterness?
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Now?
Speaker 3 (01:53):
The definition of bitterness from Oxford Dictionaries anger and disappointment
at being treated unfairly. Hebrews twelve fifteen says, looking carefully,
let anyone fall short of the grace of God.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Let's any root of.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Bitterness bringing up cause trouble and by this, many become defiled.
I want you to know how it says cause trouble.
Bitterness is not just the root. Bitterness will can and
will grow into other things. It causes trouble, and it
is a poison that corrupts many, says, many become defiled
by this bitterness. In the Great book Debate of Satan
by John Bevie, he explained that the original word for
(02:26):
offense is scandalon, which literally means trap or snare. Church
bitterness is a trap. It is a snare that once
you get in it, it is hard to get out,
but it is possible.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Through the blood of Jesus.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
It is one of Satan's favorite weapons to use because
I guarantee you everyone here has been hurt. I guarantee
you everyone here has been hurt. And it is how
you react to what happens to you that sets you
apart from everyone else.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
One of the main things that fertilizes bitterness is your
thoughts and your emotions. It is only how you respond
to the things that happen to you the change. I
want you to realize that Hebrews refers to bitterness as
a root. It can and will grow into other things,
and I believe it will fertilize other sins. I know
when I had some bitterness or some unforgiveness in my heart,
(03:11):
it made me want to rebel against the person who
had hurt me, the good and the bad. So it
can and will grow into other things. Bitterness is not
only a wall between you and someone else, but can
lead to a wall between you and God.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Church.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Bitterness binds your breakthrough. How do you expect to get
breakthrough if you're building walls around yourself? God wants you
to knock those walls down today.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
One of the main things that holds people back from
their deliverance is unforgiveness.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
And here a hungry gentlemen.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
We have prayer lines all the pre praer counselors ask everyone,
do you have unforgiveness in your heart? That is the
main thing that holds people back from their deliverance.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Bitterness is a trap.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
That leads to death death in your relationships. It can
lead to death in your joy and the worst case
is death in your relationship with God. How do I
break down the stronghold of bitterness? And in simple answer,
you have to look at whoever hurts you through a
lens of love. Talking about love in one Corinthians thirteen five,
it says it does not demand its own way, it
(04:12):
is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wrong.
That word irritable means easily provoked or easily offended. We
need to be some Christians in here today that aren't
easily provoked or easily offended, that can take the fiery darts.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Of the enemy.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Amen, you begin to see people the way Jesus sees him,
you would have an overwhelming amount of love, sympathy, and
grace and compassion for that person. When we think the
way Jesus thinks and act the way he acts, we
will be victorious in all aspects of life. The Bible says,
get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander,
(04:46):
as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be
kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
God through Christ has forgiven you.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
If Jesus literally had to die for us, the least
we could do is forgive each other. God sees people
forgiven through the blood of Jesus. He doesn't see their mistakes.
He sees his work, his finished work on the cross.
So when we see the people who hurt us. We
need to see their cross, not the mistakes.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
You know.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
Last thing I want to submit is preventing bitterness. Vision
six verse Sin says, finally, be strong in the Lord
and in the strength of his might. We need to
be strong in our identity so we don't pick up
the arrows of the enemy. We need to be strong
in our identity that we have won the victory. We
are on the winning side. I know everyone here when
it's like an enemy, a flaming arrow hits your heart,
(05:33):
someone says something that hurts you, someone does something.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
That hurts you.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
That's how you respond to that that sets you apart.
We need some Christians with some backbones that can take
the fiery darts of the enemy. We need some people
who are here with their house built on the rock,
who understand the truth, who are in the Word, because
we know when Satan comes lying through people. Satan uses people.
(05:57):
Not saying God uses people too, but Satan will use
people to how to get to you.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
But we need people with.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Our house built on the rock who have the truth
in our minds. A great thing passed, why I explained,
is how Christians need to be like palm trees, they bend,
but they don't break. When the storm come and the
winds blow, we bend, but we don't break. We stand
strong against the enemy's attacks. You can't control what happens
(06:24):
to you. You can only control how you respond to it.
Everyone is human and everyone is going to make mistakes.
I know everyone here has been hurt. That's why Satan
loves using this weapon so much. I know everyone here
has been hurt. Everyone is human. We need to have
grace and look at people through a lens of love.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
On one Peter two nineteen.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
Says for God is pleased when, conscious of His will,
you patiently endure unjust treatment. That sounds a lot to
me like the definition of bitterness. I'll read it again,
anger and disappointment at being treated unfairly. So God is
pleased when, even when there's an opportunity for you to
get bitter, you stand firm against that and you walk
in grace and love and compassion for that person. Church, today,
(07:05):
I want to encourage you do not bite on bitterness,
guard your heart. You are here today and you have
bitterness in your heart. I highly encourage you knock that
well down today. It is God's plan for you to
reconcile you and whoever hurts you, he is his plan
for you to forgive and move on. Thank you so much, everyone,
you could please help me welcome our youth worship team
(07:28):
leader Keana.
Speaker 6 (07:30):
Hello, Good morning church. How many you guys are blessed
to be in the house today? Come on, Hi, My
name is Keana. I am one of our youth worship leaders.
Speaker 7 (07:40):
That we have speaking of that if you have a
child that is.
Speaker 6 (07:44):
In either middle school or high school and is interested
in playing either an instrument or willing to see, have
them come talk to me or our other worship leader, Sarah.
Come on, and hopefully all these kids here will grow
up to be on our worship team.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
And take over.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Amen.
Speaker 6 (07:59):
Amen, I have the privilege of sharing this message to
you this morning. So the title of my message is
called turning Failure into Purpose. So I am currently a
CBC student finishing up my last year, and honestly, this
has been a journey for me.
Speaker 8 (08:19):
Many nights of doubts, many nights.
Speaker 6 (08:21):
Of wanting to quit, of not wanting to precede this career.
And with that, I really felt that God was trying
to test me. God was trying to trying to put
me through chriles to see if I remain faithful or
if I will fall. And with that I let my
doubt consume me instead of the identity God had for
(08:43):
me or has for me, which brings me to my
first point, testing your integrity In the Book of Job,
chapter two. This chapter reflects on the testing of his integrity,
the testing of his faith where God put him through
trials where God allowed Satan to torment him. In Job
two four through seven, it says, skin for skin for skin,
(09:07):
Satan replied, and man will give all he has for
his own life. But now stretch out your hand and
strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you,
or curse.
Speaker 7 (09:17):
You to your face.
Speaker 6 (09:18):
The Lord said to Satan, very well, then he is
in your hands, but must spare his life. So Sam
went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted
Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to.
Speaker 7 (09:30):
The crown of his head.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
Fast forward a little bit through this process, his wife,
Job's own wife was trying to encourage him to curse God,
bringing that doubt. In verses nine through ten, it says
his wife said to him, are you still maintaining your integrity,
curse God and die, He replied, you are talking like
a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God and
(09:55):
not from trouble in all of this?
Speaker 7 (09:57):
Job did not sin in what he said, And.
Speaker 6 (10:00):
I feel like in this we should take this into
our own perspective when trials and tribulations come through our life,
that we don't.
Speaker 7 (10:08):
Fail, but we walk with God. I remember when I
started CBC. This was the first week.
Speaker 6 (10:15):
I was still trying to adjust with the schedule, adjust
with the norms.
Speaker 7 (10:18):
It was something that I wasn't comfortable with.
Speaker 6 (10:21):
So I remember one night, I think it was around,
to be honest, probably my third day. I was in
my night stressing out and my mom came into my
room and she had asked me what was wrong, and
I was telling her saying, I want to quit. I
just want to, you know, throw this all away, just
through high school instead of whatever whatever I'm in.
Speaker 7 (10:42):
And like a nurturing mother she is, she said, stop
talking foolishness. That's what she told me.
Speaker 6 (10:48):
She said, stop talking nonsense, stop stop with all this,
and I'm not gonna lie. I was pretty upset. I
thought she was going to comfort me. And say, oh,
it's okay, like you can try again. You can, you know,
try again next year. But I really took this into
heart and it made me want to push myself even further.
(11:11):
And with this, you can't stay in your comfort forever.
If you only stay in your comfort, that's where God's
only going to meet you, and God will find someone
else who is just as willing. Instead, you have to
be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Speaker 7 (11:26):
And how do you start with that.
Speaker 6 (11:28):
It's by breaking that mindset, By breaking that mindset saying, oh,
I can't do this, but you know what, God will
strengthen me.
Speaker 7 (11:34):
God will give me the boldness.
Speaker 6 (11:36):
God will provide me with whatever I need so I
can finish what He has started, which brings me to
my second point, breaking your mindset?
Speaker 7 (11:46):
How do you expect to succeed?
Speaker 8 (11:47):
How do you expect to.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Do all these great things when you're already placed doubt
onto your life?
Speaker 7 (11:53):
Learn to trust in God.
Speaker 6 (11:54):
If you can't even trust in God, then how do
you expect for your life to go according to plan?
Speaker 7 (12:00):
Because God is the plan.
Speaker 6 (12:04):
You have to have discipline onto your own life because
not everything revolves around you. I know that a lot
of the times, you know, especially me in high school.
Speaker 7 (12:12):
I see a bunch.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
Of my class saying, well, after high school, I want
to graduate, I want to go get rich.
Speaker 7 (12:17):
I want to go, you know, get all.
Speaker 6 (12:19):
These nice cars, get this job and whatever. But how
do you expect to succeed that if you don't have God.
Speaker 7 (12:24):
In the center of it.
Speaker 6 (12:27):
Therefore, you're just boasting here about your life when it
is in your life to begin with.
Speaker 7 (12:32):
And James Ford thirteen through sixteen, it.
Speaker 6 (12:34):
Says, now, listen you who say tomorrow today or tomorrow
we will go to this or that city, spend a
year there, carry out business and make money.
Speaker 7 (12:44):
Why why you do not even know what will happen tomorrow?
What is your life?
Speaker 6 (12:50):
You are a miss that appears for a little while
and then vanishes.
Speaker 7 (12:54):
Instead, you out to.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
Say, if it is the Lord's will, we will live
and do this or that as it is you boast
in your arrogance schemes.
Speaker 7 (13:02):
All such boasting is evil.
Speaker 6 (13:05):
We all have the mentality, as I mentioned earlier, of
wanting to earn this money, wanting to do this, wanting.
Speaker 7 (13:10):
To do that.
Speaker 6 (13:11):
But how is it gonna benefit in the Kingdom of heaven?
And you might be telling me people saying like, well, Keana,
how can I succeed if I don't have as much
as this person or this person lives such a good
life and I don't have nothing. I don't have that
for me. Let me tell you something. It brings us
back to our benediction that we leave with. But seek
first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. When you
(13:34):
seek God first, God will see you. When God sees
you that you are trouble, but you are maintaining your
faith in Him.
Speaker 7 (13:40):
All these things shall be added to you.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
You might cry out and be like, well, God, I
don't have the finances to do this. Well, God, I
don't know how to do this because I was never
provided with this.
Speaker 7 (13:50):
God is your provider.
Speaker 6 (13:52):
When you meet with God, he will meet you in
the middle of it, which comes to my last point.
Don't be distress for your success. So, as I mentioned earlier,
as well as being a CBC student, I had I
had a fear. It was the fear of failure. I
didn't want to disappoint my parents. I didn't want to
(14:14):
disappoint you know, the people around me.
Speaker 7 (14:16):
I talk a lot about school.
Speaker 6 (14:17):
How I'm going to do this and that, But what
if I can accomplish this. What if this isn't what
I'm supposed to be majoring in. What if my life
doesn't isn't supposed to look like this? I remember around
this time last year, my parents we had taken a trip.
We went to a worship concert and then right after
we stopped in a in a church in Yakama with
(14:38):
Pastor Rudy and Pastor Erka, and I remember there was
a bishop. He was a he was a special guest,
and I didn't even know what a bishop was. I
didn't even know who what he was. But he he
ended up prophesigned to me saying, you know those videos
where you see on YouTube where it's like you in
(15:00):
the in the corner with a red shirt with brown pants.
Speaker 7 (15:04):
Yeah, that was me.
Speaker 6 (15:07):
So had he had called me without even knowing me.
I didn't even know who he was, but he knew
my situation and he had told me sing, you're gonna
walk in your calling. You're gonna walk in this and
God will provide. You think that you're worrying with this,
but God will provide.
Speaker 7 (15:22):
And with that it resonated with.
Speaker 6 (15:24):
Me because when God gives you a promise, you stick
with it you don't let that doubt consume your mind
because you already have that promise. Yes it might take time,
Yes it might time take time, but everything aligns in
his correct order. In Psalm seventy seven eight, it says,
has his unfilling love vanished forever? Has his promise filled
for all time? Let God drive.
Speaker 7 (15:46):
You to your purpose, so you don't drive away with it.
Speaker 6 (15:50):
Amen, how many you guys are blessed today with that?
Let me introduce you to one of our unashamed club leaders, Sebastian.
Speaker 9 (16:00):
Come on church, who is blessed by that message? Come on,
always blessed by that. Like she said, my name is Sebastian.
I am from Beton City. I am an unashamed club leader.
I'm seventeen years old, and it is an honor to
be up here and to bring you guys a message today.
But first I want to say thank you and honor
all our pastors of the house. You guys truly are
(16:22):
shepherds to the sheep. You guys truly lead people to
encounter God daily. So I thank you guys, and I
honor you guys. The message that I have for you
guys today is called a life worthy of your calling.
I'm gonna be reading from Ephesians chapter four, verses one
through four, and it says, as a prisoner for the Lord,
(16:45):
then I urge you to live a life worthy of
the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle,
be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every
effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Bond of peace.
Speaker 9 (16:59):
To there is one body, one spirit, just as you
are called to one hope when you were called. The
first point I half for you guys today is that
the call is.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Given, not earned. See we do not earn.
Speaker 9 (17:11):
Our calling, but we are given a calling by the
grace of God. See the grace of God hands us
a calling. But what carries it is holiness. And two
Timothy one nine it says He has saved us and
called us to a holy life, not because of anything
we have done, but because of his.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
Own purpose and grace.
Speaker 9 (17:31):
Disgrace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning
of time. See, to live a life that is worthy
of your calling, it says. In verse two, it says,
be completely humble and gentle, bearing with one another in love.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
So my second point today is that.
Speaker 9 (17:49):
Character that carries your calling I'm gonna share three characteristics
that carry your calling.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
See. The first one is humility.
Speaker 9 (18:00):
Humility is knowing that everything we have is from God.
From this church, from the clothes that we wear, from
the food that we have, from the car that we drive,
It is all from God. Humility is knowing that you
depend upon daily, not just when things are good, but
even when things aren't going your way. Humility is putting
(18:21):
others before yourself. Jesus said, I've come to serve and
not to be served. See when the world tells us
to put ourselves above others, that others should serve us, no,
Jesus says that I've come to serve and not to
be served.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
One thing that will destroy your calling is pride. See.
Speaker 9 (18:37):
Pride destroys calling, but humility protects it. The second characteristic
is gentleness. See gentleness is not weakness. Many people think
that gentleness means you need to be weak, but it's
actually strength under control. Gentleness is the character of Jesus
on full display. Gentleness is choosing kindness over anger, love
(19:00):
over envy, mercy over revenge. The third one I have
is a bearing with one another in love.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
What is love? See? Love is a choice. Love is
a commitment.
Speaker 9 (19:10):
Love is a sacrificial way that reflects the heart of Jesus.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
See Jesus didn't have to die for us, but he
chose to.
Speaker 9 (19:18):
Jesus committed his life to us. Jesus sacrificed everything on
the cross. To many Christians, we only love God when
things are going good. But the Bible says that we
love because.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
Christ first loved us.
Speaker 9 (19:36):
John fifteen thirteen says there's no greater love than to
lay down one's life for a friend.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
Love is proven when it costs you something.
Speaker 9 (19:44):
Love is proven when you have to be patient with
someone that frustrates you. Love is forgiving someone, even if
they didn't ask for your forgiveness.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
See.
Speaker 9 (19:53):
Bearing with one another means not giving up on someone
because Christ never gave up on you. Let me say
that one more time for you, guys, Bearing with one
another means not giving up on someone because Christ never
gave up on you. See, we are told to bear
with one another because we were never called to do
(20:15):
this walk alone. This brings me to my third point
that division kills the mission. As the body of Christ.
See we are the body of Christ. We are called
to a mission which is the great commission, and that
is in Matthew twenty eight nineteen, it says, therefore, go
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
(20:38):
In Ephesians four three and four, it talks about how
there is one body, one spirit, and one hope. Us
as the body, we are called to walk in unity.
While the vision kills the mission, unity brings us together
to complete the mission. See today you might be saying
(20:59):
that you know, I'm not called. I'm not called to
be a pastor. I'm not called to be an evangelist,
I'm not called to be an apostle. I'm not called
to preach the word of God to people. But no,
see the Bible says to go and make disciples of
all nations.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
So that is you.
Speaker 9 (21:14):
You are called to go make disciples of all nations.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
Can I get amen? I want to end it with this.
Speaker 9 (21:25):
See, you are called, But I want you to ask
yourself this, are you living a life worthy of the
calling you've been given?
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Guys?
Speaker 9 (21:34):
I hope this message blessed you, guys and challenges you, guys,
to live a life that is worthy of your calling. Now,
can you guys, please help me. Welcome up one of
our youth worship leaders, Sarah.
Speaker 8 (21:54):
Good morning church.
Speaker 10 (21:57):
How many guys are excited to be at the house
of the Lord this world.
Speaker 8 (22:01):
Come on.
Speaker 10 (22:03):
My name is Sarah and I'm sixteen years old. The
title of my message is called to Carry. Tell your
neighbor you are called to carry, and then tell your
other neighbor are you carrying your colleen? So this message
will be based on the story of Esther, and you
(22:25):
can find the story in the Book of Estra in
the Bible. So Esther she was born with the name Hadassa,
and she was raised with her cousin Mordecai. They were
both Jews that lived in Persia, so they were foreigners
in that land. The king of that land needed a
new queen and that caused Esther to have to go
(22:48):
to the palace. So Mordecai for the sake of Esther,
to protect her, he changed her name from Hadassa to Esther.
She ends up becoming queen and then Hayman, one of
the officials of the government. He did not like Jews,
so he convinces the king to make a law saying
that on this day all the Jews will die. The
(23:12):
king has no idea Esther is Jewish, so he blindly
sides the law. Mordechai starts communicating with Esther, and this
is what he says in Esther four verse thirteen and
through seventeen.
Speaker 8 (23:27):
Mordekai sent this reply to Esther.
Speaker 10 (23:30):
Don't think for a moment that because you're in the palace,
you will escape when all the other Jews are killed.
If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance
and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place.
But you and your relatives will die. Who knows if
perhaps you were made queen for such a time as this.
(23:52):
Then Esther sent this reply to Mordechai, go and gather
together all the Jews of Sousa and fast for me,
eat or drink for three days night or day.
Speaker 8 (24:02):
My maids and I will do.
Speaker 10 (24:04):
The same, and then, though it is against the law,
I will go in to see the king. If I
must die, I must die. So Mordecai went away and
did everything as Esther had ordered him. My first point
is culture labels, but God names.
Speaker 8 (24:24):
Esther had two names.
Speaker 10 (24:26):
She was born with the name Hadassa, which means peace, love,
and prosperity, and then she was given the name Esther,
which originates from the Greek goddess of love. She was
battling between two different identities. The truth of who you
are is found in who God says you are. The
(24:46):
world can put all kinds of labels on you. It
could put all kinds of labels on based on what
you did in your past. But God can take those
labels and he can rename you into who you are.
In Isaiah chapter forty three, verse one, it says, but
(25:08):
now a Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you.
Don't listen to the lives of the enemy. Listen to
the God who created you. It says, Oh Israel, the
one who formed you, says, do not be afraid, for
I have ransomed you.
Speaker 8 (25:23):
I have called you by name. You are mine.
Speaker 10 (25:27):
Not only will the enemy try to do and say
anything he can to prevent you from knowing who you
are as a child of God, but he will also
try everything he can.
Speaker 8 (25:37):
To prevent you from believing it.
Speaker 10 (25:42):
Whatever the culture labels us as, does it have power
over us. When we have been ransomed, when we have
been redeemed, and what we have been renamed by our
heavenly Father. For example, the culture says you're too far
gone for God's great But in Romans, it says, nothing
(26:03):
can ever separate us from God's love. It doesn't matter
the sin, it doesn't matter the past choice, Nothing can
separate us from God's love. The culture says you're not enough.
God says, my grace is all you need. My power
works best in weakness. The culture says you might be
too young to be used by God, or you don't
have enough experience. God says, don't let anyone look down
(26:26):
at you just because you are young. The culture says
you're unlovable. God says, I have loved you with an
everlasting love. The culture says no one will choose you.
God says I knew you, and I chose you. I
formed you in your mother's womb before you were born.
I set you apart, and I appointed you as a
prophet to the nation's My second point is identity empowers assignment.
(26:53):
Confidence to step into your calling comes from knowing who
you belong to and believing who you are. When Esther
understood who she was, but Mordecai called out the hadassa
in her. What he called out the purpose in her
what she accepted her identity, that's what she was able
to accept her assignment. In verse sixteen, she comes to
(27:16):
the point where she says, if I must die, I
must die. Esther had to accept her identity before she
could accept her assignment. But we understand who we are,
we begin to understand what we are called to do.
Who Esther was empowered for her to do what she
was called to do. When we know and believe who
(27:41):
God says we are, who God names us. As we
stop living how the world labeled us in the past
and we start living how God called us, we start
living in the purpose. And my last point, you are
not here by chance, You are here by calling. In
verse fourteen, Mordecai tells her, who knows if perhaps you
(28:05):
were made for such a time as this. You have
been placed in this world for such a time as this.
God chose you. God has a plan for you. Your
life has purpose. God saved you from something for something.
Speaker 8 (28:23):
Amen. He remained you for a reason.
Speaker 10 (28:28):
He will turn that past situation into a purpose. He
will turn that pain into a purpose.
Speaker 8 (28:34):
Come on.
Speaker 10 (28:38):
In verse Peter two, verse nine, it says, but you
are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim
his praises of the one who called you out of
the darkness and into his marvelous life. You are not
called to live in darkness. You are not called to
(28:59):
live in fear and anxiety. You are not called to
live in depression. You are not called to live in
what the world labeled you as. Jesus is calling you
out of the darkness and into the light. He is
calling you out of insecurity and into security and who
you are and your identity in Christ. He is calling
you out of addiction and into freedom. He has called
(29:21):
you out of fear and into boldness. He's calling you
out of unforgiveness and into forgiveness and healing. He is
calling you out of your past and into your purpose
and future that He has for you. Some of us
might think, yeah, I know I'm called, or I have
a feeling that I've called for this. Maybe it's being
(29:42):
a worship leader, a pastor, a minister, or whether it's
being a father or mother, even a spiritual father or
spiritual mother to as like a mentor. But you say,
but I just I have these things in my life
where God told me to get rid of it. But
it's fine if I just keep it, because it's very
It's just a small compromise. But you can't carry the
(30:07):
calling if you're busy carrying a compromise. You can't complete
the mission if you're conformed to the enemy's.
Speaker 8 (30:14):
Vision, which is.
Speaker 10 (30:19):
Which is a lie because what the enemy sees, what
he tries to get you to think, is a lie,
because the enemy is a liar. You are not called
just to conform. You are called to carry out your purpose.
God is not looking for ability, he's looking for availability.
He is not looking for skill. He is looking for
surrender in a surrendered heart. God will use you not
(30:42):
because you are perfect, but because you are positioned for
His purpose. You are called to carry Come on, this
is the ENVI sermon. Let's welcome our youth leader.
Speaker 11 (30:54):
Edvn amazing, amazing, So in by Sarah. Let me get
my notes set up.
Speaker 12 (31:03):
My name is Edwin.
Speaker 11 (31:05):
I am twenty four years old. I've been coming to
hungry generation four. Let's hear he I'm twenty four carry
the one twenty four years Yeah wow, Okay. My sermon
today is going to be on building faith. So what
is faith? The Oxford Dictionary defines faith as complete trust
or confidence in someone or something. The biblical definition in
(31:28):
Hebrews eleven one, it says faith is the substance of
things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Speaker 12 (31:34):
The amplified translation says it as this.
Speaker 11 (31:37):
Now, faith is the assurance the title ded the confirmation
of things hoped for, divinely guaranteed and the evidence of
things not seen. A simple way to put it is,
how many guys did some online shopping during Black Friday?
Speaker 12 (31:50):
I did some. Yeah, I see those hands.
Speaker 11 (31:53):
So a simple way to put it is you put
in an order online and you got the confirmation email,
but you don't have the product yet. So the confirmation
emails the faith that they're actually going to send you
the product.
Speaker 12 (32:05):
Come on. So, I have a couple.
Speaker 11 (32:08):
Questions for you, guys, It says, my first question is
what are you putting your faith in?
Speaker 12 (32:14):
So are you putting your faith.
Speaker 11 (32:15):
In false religion, in crystals, in yourself and other people
in the government, which he probably shouldn't do, or in
physical things in the money, or are you putting your
faith in God? We should always be putting our faith
in God because everything else will always fail, It will
never live up to the standard that we expect it too.
Speaker 12 (32:36):
So we all have our dreams.
Speaker 11 (32:37):
We all have our goals, the things that God has
given us or things that we have come as, what
we want to see happening in our lives. We got
to have faith for that and we got to put
our faith in God that he.
Speaker 12 (32:47):
Will see that through.
Speaker 11 (32:48):
So next question for you guys is how big is
your faith? Yes, faith has different sizes. Here are some
typical proofs. So Jesus when the disciples were on the
boat going across the sea of Galley and the waves
and the winds came and they were all freaking out there,
like Jesus, come save us, help us.
Speaker 12 (33:07):
We can't do it, We're gonna die.
Speaker 11 (33:09):
Jesus, he said, have you no faith? Or in other
translations that says where is your faith? So and then
he calmed the storm and they were all fine. But
that's an example of little faith, and an example of
great faith is Matthew eight, verse ten. It's the story
of the centurion who came to Jesus asking him, can
you come and save my servant.
Speaker 12 (33:31):
He's dying, he's very sick, and he came to.
Speaker 11 (33:34):
Jesus, not having Jesus come with him to lay hands
and pray and healed the servant.
Speaker 12 (33:39):
He came and told him, just say the word and
my servant will be healed.
Speaker 11 (33:43):
And Jesus said this, I have not found such great faith,
not even in Israel. So do you even know how
good God is, what he can do, what he can
do with your life, what he can do with your circumstances,
with your situations. So our church hungry generation do testimonies.
Why do we do this? We do this to build
a faith. It is actually one of our unique characteristics.
(34:05):
It is expecting the miraculous. Let me read it for you.
We don't lower our expectation of what God can do
based on experience, but instead we elevate our expectation to
the promise.
Speaker 12 (34:16):
Of God's word.
Speaker 11 (34:17):
We fuel our faith by feeding ourselves with testimonies of miracles.
If He has done it before, he can do it again.
So that is why we do our testimonies. Testimonies help
build our faith and our lives are even our testimonies
for others. Here are some testimonies or stories of faith
from the Bible. I'm going to give you just four
because the Bible is filled with all of them. So
(34:38):
Luke five point twenty is the story of a paralyzed
man who was laying on a mat.
Speaker 12 (34:43):
His friends were trying.
Speaker 11 (34:45):
To get him to go to see Jesus, but the
crowd was around the house. They couldn't get in, so
they went on the roof.
Speaker 12 (34:51):
They tore off the tiles.
Speaker 11 (34:52):
They tore off the roof and lowered him into the room,
and Jesus said this, and it says this, and twenty says,
seeing their faith, Jesus said.
Speaker 12 (35:03):
To the man, young man, your sins are forgiven.
Speaker 11 (35:07):
Luke eight, verse forty eight is the story of the
woman with the issue of blood. So she pushed through
the crowd, touched the hem of the garment, and she
got healed. And he said to her daughter. He said
to her, your faith has.
Speaker 12 (35:20):
Made you well. Go in peace.
Speaker 11 (35:23):
And even in that story itself, there's a second part
where he was talking.
Speaker 12 (35:27):
Gyros first came to.
Speaker 11 (35:28):
Jesus to come and have him come.
Speaker 12 (35:30):
And heal his daughter who was dying.
Speaker 11 (35:32):
And as Jesus was talking to the woman with the
issue of blood, when she got healed, his daughter actually died.
So things went from bad to even worse. But this
is what Jesus said to Gyros. He says, don't be afraid,
just have faith. And we saw what happened. The daughter
got healed, the raised back from the dead. And then Luke,
chapter seventeen, verse eleven, let me read it for you guys.
(36:00):
So this is the story of the ten lepers in
verse twelve, or yes, verse twelve. As he entered a village,
there ten men with leprosy stood out a distance, crying out, Jesus, master,
have mercy on us. He looked at them and said,
go show yourselves to the priests. And as they went,
they were cleansed up their leprosy. One of them, when
he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus
shouting praise God. He fell to the ground at Jesus's feet,
(36:23):
thanking him for what he had done.
Speaker 12 (36:25):
This man was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, didn't.
Speaker 11 (36:27):
I heal ten men? Were the other nine? Has no
one returned to give glory to God except for this foreigner.
And Jesus said to the man, stand up and go.
Your faith has healed you. And then Luke eighteen, verse
thirty five. The last story I'm going to show you
is the healing of the blind man.
Speaker 12 (36:43):
So there's a beggar on the side of the road.
Speaker 11 (36:44):
He was blind and he heard the commotion, was like,
what's happening, and they said Jesus, Jesus was coming by
on the road. So he cried out, Jesus, son of David,
have mercy on me. And the crowd told him to
quiet down, don't disturb them, but he only shouted louder, Jesus,
son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus came
to him and says, because of your.
Speaker 12 (37:05):
Faith, you will see, and he did.
Speaker 11 (37:08):
So there's one connection that I want to share with
you guys, across all these stories is each one of
these stories their faith when Jesus healed them. Because of
their faith, their faith always had action.
Speaker 12 (37:19):
You know.
Speaker 11 (37:19):
In James two twenty six it says faith is dead
without works. So the story of the friends that lowered
their friend to Jesus to get healed through the roof,
they had to tear off the roof. Their action was
tearing off the roof. And the story of the woman
with the issue of blood, she had to push through
the crowds and touch the hem of the garment. And
in the story of the ten Lepers, it wasn't even
(37:43):
when Jesus said that go show yourselves to the priests
that they were healed. It was as they were going
to the priest that they got healed. And then the
healing of the blind man, he cried out louder and
louder for Jesus to come heal him. Their faith had actions.
So this is something I want to encourage you guys with.
I want you guys to build your faith. So I
(38:03):
want to encourage you guys to build your faith through
watching testimonies, through reading the Bible. There's so many faith
stories and testimonies in the Bible. Hebrews eleven has full
of stories specifically, And this next thing I want to
encourage you guys with is to be the person that
helps build other people up, build other people's faith.
Speaker 12 (38:23):
I want to show you guys.
Speaker 11 (38:25):
Romans Chapter ten, it says this, So it says this.
I'm going to start with verse seventeen and then go backwards.
So seventeen says so faith comes from hearing, that is,
hearing the good news about Christ.
Speaker 12 (38:39):
And then back in verse.
Speaker 11 (38:43):
Verse thirteen, it says, for everyone who calls on the
name of the Lord will be saved. But how can
they call on him to save them unless they believe
in him? And how can they believe in him if
they have never heard about him? And how can they
hear about him unless someone tells them? And how anyone
go and tell them without being sent? So I want
to encourage you, guys. Your guys's testimonies can be the
(39:04):
be the faith builder for your friends, your family, your coworkers.
Speaker 12 (39:08):
Many people out there don't know that.
Speaker 11 (39:10):
God is still alive, that he's still working, that he's
still healing, that he's still setting people free. So your words,
your word of God, will be the testimony and the
faith for other people. It is your job and our
job to be the person that helps build other people's faith.
Speaker 12 (39:25):
And with that, I want to help us.
Speaker 11 (39:27):
Welcome Isaiah Luis, one of our student leaders at Kenwick
High School.
Speaker 5 (39:35):
Good morning Church, how are we doing? Beautiful word? Beautiful word. First,
I want to thank all of our pastors and leaders
for giving us a great opportunity to speak today. I'm
going to be speaking about sin and how the enemy
can give you a distraction that will lead to a destruction.
(39:58):
My first topic is this distraction leads to destruction. Three
good examples of this happening is Samson falling to Delilah,
David falling to Bethsheba, and Judas to money. You see,
all these people were presenting something good, but it led
to something much worse. David or Samson with Delilah led
(40:22):
to having his hair cut off, losing the strength, David
committed adultery with Bethsheba and got her pregnant, leading to
the death of her husband, and Judas trading Jesus for
thirty pieces of silver, leading to the crucifixion of Jesus
and hanging himself. You see, the enemy is going to
present a distraction to where he knows the flesh desires,
(40:45):
causing you to derail you from the destination God has
for you. And this brings and this goes for my
second point, which is our fleshly desires can derail our
God given destinations. James one, verse fourteen through fifteen says,
but each one is tempted when he is drawn away
(41:05):
by his own desires. Then when desire has conceived, it
gives birth to sin, and sin what it is when
it is full grown, brings forth death. So depending on
our desires will be the results to our destination. You
see when it says, but each one is tempted when
he's drawn away, it's saying that when someone is being tempted,
(41:27):
it's because they were being led by their fleshly desires.
And so a good question to ask yourself today is
am I being led by my flesh or am I
being led by my faith? Matthew five point thirty says.
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut
it off and cast it from you, for it is
more profitable for that one of your members perished than
(41:49):
your whole body to be casted into hell.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
So whatever that.
Speaker 5 (41:52):
You are struggling with, whether that's secret sin or sin
in general, alcohol, drugs, addiction, lustful thought, sexual desires, whatever
it is, cut it off because it's not worth going
to hell for something that can be that can be
temporarily removed. A good A good question to ask yourself
(42:15):
again is what if on the other side of this
sin is your breakthrough? And the reason why there isn't
any breakthrough is because you're too comfortable being in sin.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
Do everything you can to resist sin.
Speaker 5 (42:28):
Do everything, because even resisting has its reward. James One
twelve says, blessed is the man who endures temptation, for
when he has been approved, he will receive the crown
of life, which the Lord has promised to those who
love him. Another verses James four seven says, therefore, submit
to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee to you.
(42:49):
Flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will
draw nearer to you. You see, when we resist the devil,
and we keep on resisting, resisting, resisting, then beat I
don't give him the attention that he wants. Eventually, he's
gonna give up. Eventually he's gonna flee from us. And
that's what we want. And one thing that one thing
(43:11):
that God has really showed me is that he keeps
on telling us to flee from what is temporary and
to go to what is eternal, and that's Him and
everlasting life and what he did on the cross for
us and for me growing up in everything in my
(43:32):
high school years, I was addicted to drugs, alcohol, sexual desires,
bad bad videos, listening to bad things, cursing, and hanging
around with the wrong group. So all of this was bad.
I was doing everything you can imagine. It was bad
and Eventually I ended up having to counter with the Lord,
(43:55):
and he set me free from many things, but yet
I was still struggling afterwards. And so in that moment,
I knew that I had two choices to make, either
to follow the world or to follow Jesus. And so
I chose to follow Jesus. And ever since that I
can guarantee you break through happen. And I want to
(44:20):
encourage you guys. Whatever is holding you down, whatever is
separating you from the Lord, cut it off, remove it
because it's not worth it.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
And for me.
Speaker 5 (44:30):
Something that really helped me was to analyze where I was,
who I'm hanging out with, and what is distracting me.
Like I was up very late at night, so there
was no need to be up at three in the
morning on a school night, Like let's be for all.
So setting yourself up for healthy habits instead of bad habits.
(44:51):
So cutting off those bad habits will lead you to
your breakthrough. And so I encourage you guys to really
cut it off and to let go move in your
life and transform your hearts.
Speaker 4 (45:03):
And that's the end of my sermon. Kenny.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
Please welcome up, my leader Angel, Come on, come on, we.
Speaker 4 (45:10):
Can do better than that. How many of you.
Speaker 13 (45:12):
Guys love the Lord, love Jesus and what he's doing.
Come on, man, what growth we've seen in our students. Amen,
They've grown so much, Isaiah said back in my high
school years. He's a junior in high school. That's how
much he's grown.
Speaker 4 (45:31):
That's the newness of life that Paul was talking about.
He said, all things are made new. Amen. Somebody say
all things Amen. Amen. For those that don't know me,
my name is Angel.
Speaker 13 (45:40):
I'm one of the youth leaders here, been leading since
twenty twenty three, running alongside his pastor Zach andres Ho
Suay and all the guys Edvan. We love what we do.
We love discipling the next generation. We love raising them up,
we love seeing them grow, and we love seeing the
loss gets saved.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
Amen.
Speaker 4 (45:59):
And because of you guys.
Speaker 13 (46:02):
You know, the Bible says that one man Apollos I
planted apolish water, but God brought the growth. What we
are seeing is the growth of God in here. We
as members of our church planted here. We you know,
provided finances, maybe you mentored, maybe you served, You planted
and watered and God is bringing the growth within our
youth and you're seeing the next generation be raised up
(46:24):
to become the next pastor's prophets, evangelists, and teachers. And
that's exactly what we're seeing. So I want to spreach
a little message today that I have for you guys
called the rising rates. With that, I'm gonna read a
few statistics about gen Z that I looked for online.
And you know, if you need me to site my sources,
I have my sources.
Speaker 4 (46:42):
Come on, I'm a college student.
Speaker 12 (46:43):
Let's go.
Speaker 13 (46:45):
Suicide, according to state Line, has now claimed more lives
in this generation than the previous generation. Suicide Depression research
by Walton Family Foundation states that forty two of Gen
zs struggle with depression and feelings of hopelessness, which is
twice the rate of people over the age of twenty five. Again,
(47:07):
forty two percent of Gen z ER's struggle with depression
and feelings of hopelessness. Marijuana among teens is more common
than ever, Drugs among teens is more common than ever,
and uh, we're seeing in our high schools as being
legalized and promoted in media in the mainstream.
Speaker 4 (47:24):
On top of that, pornography.
Speaker 13 (47:26):
A study published in twenty twenty five, So this is
recent found that Ida listens to age thirteen to eighteen,
ninety point five percent of them reported having to watch pornography.
Speaker 4 (47:37):
That's my frontier.
Speaker 13 (47:39):
Ninety percent of people from thirteen to eighteen crazy. As
you can see, we live in the darkest time.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
Of history for our youth.
Speaker 13 (47:49):
We live in the most unprecedented times where you can
go to a doctor say I want to change my gender,
and your parents have no say. We live in one
of the most critical, depressed, drug alcoholic generations this world
has ever seen. Yet when we look in the Bible,
we see God's promises for our for the people in
his last days. So when you compare the two, you wonder, Okay,
(48:11):
God over here says He's gonna use this and bring
a revival and have a remnant. But you look over
here and you see all these statistics, what can how
is it gonna happen?
Speaker 4 (48:19):
The answer is grace.
Speaker 13 (48:21):
Paul wrote in a Romans five twenty. He says, moreover
the law entered, the offense might abound, but where sin abounded,
grace abounded much more.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
Where there is.
Speaker 13 (48:33):
More sin and evil, there's gonna be more students rising up.
There's gonna be more salvation. There's gonna be more freedom,
There's gonna be more power of God. Even though we
live in the darkest times. God gave us these promises.
Speaker 4 (48:47):
Amen. I'm gonna read some of these promises.
Speaker 13 (48:49):
In Matthew twenty four, Jesus talking about the darkest times
in history, his disciples coming and say, Lord, what is.
Speaker 4 (48:55):
It gonna be like when you come? How are we
gonna know the season?
Speaker 13 (48:58):
Jesus goes on to say, wars, pestlen's, famines, all these
kind of things, and then he says in verse fourteen,
this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all
the world as a witness to all nations, and then
the end will come.
Speaker 4 (49:11):
I would always read Matthew.
Speaker 13 (49:12):
Twenty four and look on the news, you know, wars,
all this kind of stuff, and I always pay attention
to that stuff. But what I never noticed is that
Jesus said after that, He says, this gospel will be
preached throughout the whole world, and then the end will come.
Speaker 4 (49:25):
So Jesus saying, before he comes.
Speaker 13 (49:27):
Back, this gospel is going to be spread everywhere as
a witness.
Speaker 4 (49:30):
To the nations.
Speaker 13 (49:31):
Okay, and Acts two seventeen, and it shall come to
pass in the last days, said God, that I will
pour on my spirit on all flesh. Your sons and
your daughter shall prophesy. Your young men shall see visions,
your old men shall dream dreams. What you heard today
from the students, the testimony that they gave the word,
that they gave the Raima, that they gave the living
(49:52):
Word from Heaven, which they shared through revelation, is an
exact fulfillment of this prophecy that was spoken thousands of
years ago. Jesus said in Matthew eleven twenty five, I
praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and Earth, because you
have hidden these things from the wise and learned and
revealed them to little children. You see what God is
doing in these last days is raising up young people,
(50:15):
coming to them audibly, coming to them in dreams, as
they did ensure he shared last service. He was suicidal,
call up to God, and God delivered him and saved him.
And now he's using obviously he's being used mightily. God
is gonna do this on a massive skill like we've
never seen before in these last times. And that's exactly
what he's doing in you know, we're seeing this in Tristites.
We go have on a shame clubs. We have our students,
(50:35):
But what about the rest of America. Well, it's not
just a tri city thing, it's an American thing. Here's
some statistics. According in the USA Today, the increase of
those who identify as non religious has been put on
a pause for the first time in thirty years.
Speaker 4 (50:49):
What does that mean.
Speaker 13 (50:50):
It means those are like, hey, I don't mess with religion.
Speaker 4 (50:51):
I don't like that, keep that away.
Speaker 13 (50:53):
That's actually on the decline is getting put on a pause.
And now young people are being more drawn to Christianity
than ever before.
Speaker 4 (51:00):
Halleujah, slav blah blah blah.
Speaker 13 (51:05):
As Fox News, Bible sells are up forty one percent,
downloads of religion and spiritual apps are up eighty percent,
and genres of Tutian music listeners.
Speaker 4 (51:15):
Are up fifty percent.
Speaker 13 (51:16):
Young people are drawn towards Jesus Christ and the Gospel
and the good news of the Kingdom of God. They're
not drawn towards Islam. They're not drawn towards Mormonism, They're
not drawn towards New Age. They're drawn to Jesus Christ.
Speaker 4 (51:29):
So what does this say? The same quote by USA Today.
Speaker 13 (51:32):
This is in a news article it says secularism for
many has been found empty and wanting. Chaos and instability
of the past few years has people returning to the
age old questions about where we came from, why the
world is so messed up, and where we can find hope.
And we know it's in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior,
the Son of God, the Bread of life, who we
(51:55):
believe in and put our hope in.
Speaker 4 (51:56):
Amen. So what do we do now?
Speaker 13 (52:01):
I'm gonna talk about the harvest of plenty Matthew nine
thirty seven thirty eight Jesus said, or says, then he
said to his disciples, the harvest truly is plentiful, but
the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the
harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
Speaker 4 (52:18):
Jesus saying, Hey, you want to know how to please me.
Speaker 13 (52:20):
You want to know what's gonna hear, what I'm gonna
incline in my ear to.
Speaker 4 (52:23):
You want to know what I'm really gonna hear when
you pray for more people to do the will of God.
And that's exactly what we're doing.
Speaker 13 (52:28):
And in the shame clubs, just this year alone, we've
seen two thousand in attendance and over four hundred salvations
that were reported just this year alone, just this year alone.
Churches are reaching out to us. How do we do
what we're doing? We want someone that foiler right there?
How do we give some of that Jews that special
saucer you guys got because they want to see the
(52:50):
same thing that we're seeing in their country, in their state,
in their school. How do the people hear the good
news of Jesus Christ. God has raised up a last
Day's strategy called Unashamed Clubs youth ministry young people where
they're gonna go out and preach the gospel. Hey man,
they don't want sin. Young people, don't want sin. That
(53:11):
want to be sanctified. They don't want the fake, they
want the fire. They don't want a spectacle and production.
They want His spirit and his presence. Come on, if
you want his presence and his spirits, come on. I'm
in the right church, somebody, Sunday morning, let's go. So
how do we get involved? How do we use the church?
Speaker 4 (53:29):
Back them up? Number one?
Speaker 13 (53:31):
Pray, Pray for our labors, Pray for our students. Pray
for your schools. Have your students serve put them in
the kids worship. Learn him how to slap the base
a little bit, learn him how to.
Speaker 4 (53:40):
Sing, you know, play the piano.
Speaker 13 (53:41):
Come, I'm gonna join them right there with them, and
invite your youth. Invite your cousins, your little nieces, your nephews,
your grand kids.
Speaker 4 (53:47):
Invite him to a youth ministry. I wonder what church
has a youth ministry here that you know they welcome
to ages of grade six to twelve. Hung your generation, youth,
Come on, somebody, low plug, Invite him to unders shamed clubs.
Speaker 13 (53:57):
We're in every single school, be involved in evans not
to people yours.
Speaker 4 (54:01):
But to young students as well. Serve youth.
Speaker 13 (54:04):
We have actually coming up, we have youth interest nights
before we go into new building. You know, new building
a thousand people. That means a thousand more students who
got to fill up right there. We need people to serve.
We need people to labor and to lay their lives.
I'll say, hey, I want to get a part of this.
We're now doing youth interest nights once a month where
you can be involved. Let's say you want to become
a youth leader or you just want to serve. If
(54:24):
you want to serve a shuttle, You want to serve
welcome team, you want to serve the prayer team.
Speaker 4 (54:29):
We at a s u y are growing.
Speaker 13 (54:31):
A place and a platform for you to serve and
for God to use your.
Speaker 4 (54:35):
Talents, and man, how good is that?
Speaker 13 (54:37):
So if you want to get involved, do those things.
And last, but not at least this one. Or somebody
says Lava Bogle, support financially, support financially right there, that
one right there, Some of you guys got to pray
about that one right there. Let's go with that being said.
Jesus is on the move today. God is using our youth.
God is using our church. And I want to honor
our pastors because of that pastor, the facility pastor of
(54:58):
Lave pastors that and all the other pasts who support
this vision, who believe in the next generation. Every time
I watch that video by PASSI vecili man, I get
fired up when he's talking about America.
Speaker 4 (55:08):
Come on, man, I'm riled up.
Speaker 13 (55:10):
I'm riled up, and we're a blessed you part of it.
So I hope this world encourage you. I hope you
guys are fired up just as much I am. We
have youth tonight six o'clock, be there five point thirty.
