it is to be a father. But uh yeah, so
this is just one of those sacrifices that you make
when you get out there and you do your thing. Man,
you have to you have to be there for for
the kids. It's important and and sometimes you know, the
overall family is more important than the individual. So that's
(05:36):
what you have to do. Sometimes you have to put
your ego into the side and just and make it
work for everybody. So so again, yes, indeed.

I mean they got to they got like Access Hollywood
following them around. Well the Access Hollywood or excise me
that that access? How I'm dating myself TMZ. This is
(09:13):
a TMZ, I guess of that London area. They're following
them around taking pictures so he's quite there, the guy
to know out there. But again it's the UK fighter,

We're going We're going to the Charlie. That's what That's
(11:19):
what we're telling everybody. But talk about how special this
is for you.

Well, it's an honor, brother, It's an honor to to
come to southern California and host my first annual rodeo.
Speaker 7 (11:30):
You know.
Speaker 6 (11:31):
Uh, it's something I've been dreaming of just coming back
home and you know, putting a show on. Unfortunately, I've
been going through a lot of health issue and a
lot of stuff going on between me and you know,
my retirement, since I retired in ninety. But yeah, this
is a an event that I'm honoring a lot of
(11:53):
my fallen rioters. A lot of my unfortunately cowboy friends
and cal cowgirlfriends is passed on, and so we're gonna
honor them and just recognize them because they all played
a big part in my you know, my rodio career
all started in the early seventies and ented in the
(12:14):
middle nineties. But since then, we've been losing a lot
of a lot of folks.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Yes, sir, absolutely, and We're sorry to hear that, and
we sent our condolences to them. And one thing in
case anyone this is your second time giving us the
pleasure of being on air with us. For anyone who
missed our first interview, give us a little recap. Because
you you came from Watts and what what was it
about that fascinated you and made you want to get
into bull riding of all things? Because I grew up
(12:41):
in that area in Compton, and I don't there were
no bulls in our area. So just tell me where
I got you interested in doing this?
Speaker 6 (12:50):
Hey, there judged there were no bulls in south central
Watts either. There was you know, some cowboys. They came
to my area that it was from Oklahoma and Texas.
And fortunately for me, you know, I worked at that
riding stable as a guy in the early seventies and
(13:10):
well actually late sixties, early seventies, and the cowboys came
down that area. I just lucked out and got involved
with horses and cub scouts. Went on a field trip
to broken down carnival. Wow, saw the exotic animals in
the carnivals and outside that kent was ponies and I
rode the ponies for the summer and ended up getting
(13:32):
a job at a couple of riding stables down there,
mucking out stalls and water and horses. And my reward
was I can go on the trail ride right there
on Elsigona and Figarore.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
We're all started at wow.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Wow. That's from history right there.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
And again we're talking to the legend himself, mister Charlie Sampson.
Now you know, now talk about some of these guests
who are coming. Man, Like, I've been so impressed watching
your social media.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Man, you're just full of energy. I mean, I mean
you may when I look.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
At you, I said, man, I got to get myself
back in the gym.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I said, because you are out. You are full of energy.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
But talk about all your friends who are going to
be coming out to support you on the twenty eighth
and the great City of Norco.
Speaker 6 (14:14):
You know, I've been fortunate enough to travel all over
you know, the United States, had a chance to go
to Brazil, Australia and New Zealand, you know, Canada, so
I invited all my friends. That's you know, I'm a
black cowboy and won the World championship. But you know
I have cowboy friends all nationality. So I'm inviting everybody
(14:36):
out that I participated against, and you know, these days,
I'm getting their grandkids to come to my road. Get
a lot of the parents, you know, older and lots
of the kids a little older. But so now I
got their second generations of cowboys coming. So you know,
we're getting you know, people like that's coming from all over.
(14:58):
I got Jacob tiler Celli. He's an Native American from
uh Bread Springs, Bread Springs, New Mexico. He's gonna be
my rodeo announcer. This kid is so enthusiastic, so encouraging,
so you know, knowledgeable of the sport. So he's gonna
be our rodeo announcer. Then you know, we have a
(15:22):
trick riding group out of the northern California and these
girls has traveled all over the United States, played in
several movies, played in you know, just all kind of
skits and what they do. They they are looking for
inner city kids to uh learn how to trick ride
(15:42):
and travel with them. So they're gonna be there with
their writing group. And like I said, we have all
the events that a lot of the guys uh started
me out in team roping. You know, I was a
team roper at the beginning. Uh I was a deer wrestler.
Bill Pickett still wrestling. You know that event is is
(16:03):
is involved. We have tie down roping for the women.
For the women. We have barrel racing. You know I
wrote I ran barrels as a kids also, and we
have breakaway roping where the ladies or you know, junior kids,
they rope the calf and they rope the breakaways in
the saddle. That's when I say, that's exciting to see
(16:26):
how fast it is, you know, how they catch those caves,
stop those horses. A lot of athletic events.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Out there, right, so a lot going on. And tell
me a little bit about this, you know, tell me
your excitement what you're doing out here in the Inland Empire.
And we are just so fortunate to have you out here.
I know you said you you've you've been blessed to
do this for so many years. But what was it
about Norco and you want I don't know if they
are bulls out here, but tell us a little bit
of why Norco and and and I know you wanted
(16:54):
to come back home to southern California and tell us
a little bit about that amazing event event you have
coming up.
Speaker 6 (17:00):
Well, I believe obviously I'm you know, I'm from La
So when I start rodeo in the early seventies, we
would go from La to to Escondido, La to alcoholm
So I had a lot of friends in Paris and
Norico and all this area. So Noroco was my third
(17:24):
rodeo I participated in. I'm sixteen years old and I
entered Noroco, you know, as a sixteen year old almost
to say fifty years ago. But yeah, Noorco is my
consider my hometown rodeo because with all the strict regulations
in the La vicinity, you can't do anything there. So
(17:47):
if you've never been to Noroco, you know the Georgia
Gella Rodeo arena, beautiful setting, everything is safe, everything's put
up for the for rodeo. So from me, you know
the the Noraco comedee people, you know that they open
arms to allow me to come here put on a rodeo.
(18:09):
Uh Cowgirl crew. Uh. Michelle Braxton, he was was Sharon.
She's a trick writer, very good friend of mine from
the beginning, and she passed away. And like Michelle and
I was saying, you know, we got to do something
to honor these falling you know riders that started us out.
(18:30):
So we're gonna We're gonna do that. And you know,
we have great sponsors. I mean, we have Wrangler, you know,
we have you know, we got so many great span
of fastback ropes. So we got a lot of people local,
you know, hometown people, one jump at a time. So
we got a lot of support. You know, like you guys,
your radio station, you gots are supporting us. So yeah,
(18:53):
we just you know, when I see we it's almost
like I want to say me, but it's not a
mean thing. This is a week because I've got a
lot of support, got a great crew helping me out.
So yes, I didn't know. It's not like Rodeo and
I just get to the rodeo right, ride the bull
and leave right right. I gotta coordinate. I gotta coordinate
(19:14):
it everybody. Yeah, it make sure the dirt is say
Ama Lance to say, you know, am Alance on site.
You know we got rodeo clowns, great Stock, got ak
bucking bulls, Meisner, So yeah, we you know this, this
is a pretty big deal to me and for the
town of Narco.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
You're ready, Yes, yes, indeed it really is.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
Talk about man, how special it is man being a
dad and and and you know how you're how you're
going to enjoy your father Day weekend?
Speaker 7 (29:34):
Oh, there's nothing like being a dad gets crazy sometimes,
you know, with kids and everything they do. I got
three of them, but I coach two basketball teams, lovely
ones that cheerleaders. There's no greater blessing than being a
father and watching this happen.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Absolutely and then tell me this is coach be here
and tell me a little bit about that. When you
get to you get honored and whatnot. How does that
make you feel when when you're able to take take
that prize home?
Speaker 7 (30:01):
Oh that's a great feeling. There's like nothing else to describe.
It becaudes like fantastic. When the kids like look up
to you and they see you know, the way you
do things, and then you see that reflected on them
and they you know, reciprocate that.
Speaker 6 (30:18):
It's just the.
Speaker 7 (30:19):
Best thing ever. It's indescribable.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Right, that's right.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
And again we are talking to our MVP dad files
Day winner, So let me let me let me break
it down what you're gonna be able to get, what
you're taking home. And big shout out to your wife
who is left a very very touching a comment regarding
our Father's Day campaign.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Really really good stuff. Man.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
Again, we always like to see that the men who
are out there doing the most and making sure they
take care of the prize. But again, what you're gonna
walk away with with the winner. As a winner of
this really really exciting stuff, you're gonna get a one
hundred dollars gift certificate over at Graham's barbecue. She said,
we want you to make sure you eat like a king.
So big shout out to Benita over at Graham's barber
(31:00):
coach be what else will.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
He be getting?
Speaker 4 (31:01):
Oh, I'm far sorry about that, man.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
I'm over here just trying to throw it to and
think of you.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Yeah, so the one hundred dollars grams of one night
stay at the highest place in Riverside, you know, does
not have any more kids. But you know, we had
three kids in four years. Then I got cable, but
that was just me. That's funny stuff right there.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
But again, and then you're gonna walk away with get
your shoes, get your feet ready. Man, We're gonna walk
away with a fresh pair of sneakers from six r
L brand new boutique right downtown Smack, downtown Riverside, California.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
Absolutely, And then you know, I think of those kicks,
you know. And you know one thing I've learned. I
talked about this with my son. It's not like going
a foot locker man, I mean they have very very
expensive shoes and they'll tell you those are three fifty
like it's nothing like come on now, you know. And
then you're gonna get a custom hat treat box from
Sweet Treats and Crafts. And then what else they got.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
And then also, man, we just got through talking to
the legend himself and we're really excited about this on
the twenty eighth, the first annual, ever annual again legendary
rodeo Champion, mister Charlie Sampson. So you're gonna get two tickets.
I might even be able to see if we can
sneak in a couple. I know you got the kids,
so I might be able to see if I can
sneak in a couple more tickets, and make sure you can.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
It could be a family affair. You can take the
whole family.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Okay, but again, all these things right here you walk
away with again, big shout out to our sponsor who
really kicked this off. That is Miss Benita over at
Graham's Barbecue. So we invite you tomorrow if you can
make it down, we'll be down there from twelve thirty
to four. And when I say down there, Graham's Barbecue
(32:43):
is gonna be hosting.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Their Father's Day celebration.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
It's a block party right there on Main Street in
between fifth and sixth Street. They're actually gonna knock down
block that whole They're gonna excream me. They're gonna section
off that whole block right there in between fifth and
six and it's gonna be a showdown right there in
Riverside Town. So again, congratulations, Thank you so much man
for being, you know, again, leading the way doing the
(33:07):
dirty work man, you know.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
The stuff that nobody talks about. Man.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
But again, the congratulations, good guy, and we're really excited
that you got.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
A chance to win this prize.
Speaker 7 (33:15):
I appreciate you guys. Good looking out. I've been rocking
with you all for years. Keep it up like what
you're doing in the community with the youth high school
sports and a championship games and all that that you do.
Y'all keep doing what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
All right, well, man, we appreciate that. Man. Again.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
Congratulations man, Happy Father's Day weekend, and thank you so
much man for supporting us all these years.
Speaker 6 (33:35):
Thank you, sir.
Speaker 7 (33:36):
I appreciate you.
Speaker 4 (33:37):
Yeah, it is right there again man, Congratulations that's good
stuff right there.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
Man.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
We had to do that, Coach b because we went
all out for Mother's Day, you know, the mimmy makeover
and the makeup and all the stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
We had to make sure we did something special for
the dad.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
Absolutely, I saw a social media post and it showed
like some olde underwear and it says, men, stay strong,
Father's Day is coming, So stay strong out there, y'all.
You know it's coming.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
My dad was.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
My dad used to be like, man, you know, my
dad was straight up. He was like, don't give me
no underwear. I want a good prize, right right right right, Absolutely,
he was like, man, go out there and save some money. Yeah,
you know, impress your dad. So again, man, happy files
to day. We're really excited gett You know, my father's
passed on, man, but his legacy is still here. Again,
my my my brother is a tremendous father.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
So he definitely took the reins and ran with it.
Speaker 4 (34:22):
So again, all the files out there, we want to
make sure we we salute you guys again.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
You know, files don't get.
Speaker 4 (34:27):
A lot of recognition, but the work, obviously, the proof
is in the pudding man, because you know, like, what
do they say, Coach B if the if the child
can't read, how did that go?
Speaker 3 (34:37):
The child can't read this, Oh, that's the mother's issue.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
And then but if the lights aren't if the lights
aren't paid, that's day's issue.
Speaker 8 (34:42):
Right.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
So that's good stuff right there. So we're gonna take
a well, no, we're still good. We're still rocking and rolling.
So real quick, I got to ask you this, coach
be I don't know you and I we've had a
front seat, front row seat watching this young man's develop
and we're talking about sg A. There's a lot of
conversation about all the Clippers traded him and why they
(35:04):
trade him.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Look what you could have gotten instead of Paul George.
I don't know what they call him him?
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Well, Truss probably can said the best. You can't call
yourself playoff p if you always losing some playoffs, come on,
you can't do it. You just can't do it.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
And then then you call yourself that, right, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 4 (35:21):
Like like and you just you just keep fumbling the
bag in the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
Now you can create nickname like Bean. But Bean backed
it up, Yes he did.
Speaker 4 (35:29):
Cole went out there and showed up every time. But
but again that's there's a lot of conversation about that.
They obviously wouldn't have Kawhi Leonard either, that was all
involved in that trade. But I mean, what do you think,
what are your thoughts about you know them again, when
we were front row seats we saw when the Clippers
drafted them again big time promise. I don't know if
anybody really you know, even myself, I thought he was
going to be special, but obviously what he's doing now
(35:52):
historic run. But what are your thoughts about, you know again,
the trade and seeing SGA's progress.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Like they say, hindsight's twenty twenty, and you when you
talk about SGA, you're talking about I don't know if
it was fifteen sixteen when we went to the Clippers
media day and you had a chance to see Shayis
and you're standing right next to him, and you forget
he actually played for the Clippers, so it's not like
they immediately traded night exactly. So he spent some time
with the He spent some time with the Clippers playing
(36:20):
for the Clippers. But it's one of those things you
just never know when you have an unproven talent it's
just like a team, you know. I think they were
in Charlotte and they trade this guy named Being and
they got rid of You never know, you never you
just never know when you draft somebody how it's going
to work out, because like they say, you can't measure
someone's heart. And that's what Tom Brady's advice was to
(36:41):
uh to do or you can't measure someone's go out
and prove it. You know. So the player that he
has become, did I think he was going to become that?
I did not, But you know he is. He is
playing ball. But you know the thing about the NBA
now there, you know, they'll play a good night and
then they disappear, and then they'll play a good night
and they'll disappear, and it's it's just the consistency is
not there.
Speaker 4 (37:01):
Yeah, well, you know there's a lot of thought about
I mean, folks try to say it's because of the
time of the games, but I mean, coach, but we say,
you ball, like, come on, now, we'll see and we've
we've seen it on the on the flip side, where
you've seen the greats of Charles Barkley, the Shacks and
those guys like that. Kobe of course, where they again,
they had a grueling travel schedule without all the amenities
(37:25):
these guys have.
Speaker 3 (37:27):
I think Magic was on commercial flights.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Yeah, I mean these guys used to walk by him
in the airport literally, you know, I mean so these guys.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
Speaking of that, Caitlyn Clark got you guys private jets,
so so so they were playing commercial. When you say commercial,
come on, man, And like I said before, I'm here
in this documented I tried to tear her game apart,
but I have to give her to flowers. She is legit.
Now you were saying about the Now that's that's that's enough.
(37:53):
Let me get down.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
Took a step down, Yes, yes, but no, I was
just saying, like these the players of old, who really
who really brought this game to the forefront again, the Magic,
the birds. You would literally walk by these guys in
the airport. Now you you would never see these guys
in the airport. These guys are private jets. These guys
got really unique accommodations, masseus. They have trainers, you know,
(38:16):
they got special trains.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
Say bron spends over a million dollars on his maintenance
of his body.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
Well, you know, but see that that's money he spending,
which which again money will spend obviously, right.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
But Bean was the first one to do Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (38:27):
Kobe is the one to put everybody up on. There's
there's a big what what was that?
Speaker 2 (38:32):
That was?
Speaker 1 (38:32):
That?
Speaker 4 (38:32):
Wasn't that that the Olympics when everybody kind of learned like, Okay,
Kobe's different, you know, but these guys, uh, I'm talking
about the actual team itself.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
The team itself provides all the We've seen it. We've
seen it.
Speaker 4 (38:43):
I mean obviously you know you were you were, you
were broadcast for the Clippers, so you've seen behind the
scenes all the different intricacies, even at the G League level.
So these guys have all these accommodations. So there really
is no excuse for saying, hey, I got winded. So
but to your point, I think I think the defense
is a lot different. I mean, you know what, I'm
what I've seen Rick Carl play in terms of watching him, uh,
(39:07):
watching how how they play SG a full court and
then seeing the the Reggie Miller junior, this guy, I mean,
I mean this my man is out there pull pullish shots.
I mean with the I mean, with the ugliest shot
is Reggie Miller to.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
The ugliest shots, probably gonna be a Lonzo.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
Oh yeah, Lonzo.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
I know he's been hurt, but you know, and they're
trying to get him to the Clippers.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
They're trying to get mellow a Lonzo Lonzo Drake Junr Yes, oh.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Yes, yes, that's that's how I told you when I
full story for people who haven't heard it. When so
j Jordan McLoughlin or guy who's now with San Antonio. So,
my daughter was, she's going to be a fresh she
was going into her freshman year at Ajuanda. So I
went to the game to check them out because they
were rolling at the time at Auanda, and I remember
calling Eternal. I said, there's a guy here that reminds
me of Drake. And this kid is balling and at
(39:59):
the time, he was in the tenth and he was balling.
Speaker 4 (40:01):
So yeah, and we finally got a chance to see him,
and that was that was it right there, That's when
we saw Daddy ball. We saw the young and then
the young brother came shooting from half court. I mean,
nobody ever seen anything like that now, I mean they,
I mean it was I mean, they were all on
ESPN we're talking about the Ball brothers all Tria. They was,
They were out there and they were just special. Everybody
tried to guard them and play him tough. You couldn't
(40:22):
do nothing with them, man. So we got a chance
to see that front row seat watching I mean again,
watching these guys develop right in front of it. That's
funny you said that, because because we don't really talk
about that enough. Man, these guys were right here in
our backyard. We saw him grow up him and we
talked about the ball brother We also don't talk about
Big O' who was on that team as well, who
plays for the Atlanta.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
Hawks, rest in to his brother. Yes, yes, what a story. Yeah,
And that's the thing about it. When you look at
those ball brothers and I'll say this, and I said
it then I said, now, the youngest ones was going
to be special because he was he was supposed to
be in the eighth grade and he was playing they
were playing a national schedule, and people, oh, he's only
doing that because if it's brothers, I could have been
twenty two years old and not put up those kind
(41:02):
of points that he was putting up against those that
caliber of talent. It's like you know, I know people hate,
but you know, you have to be honest. Yes, and
he was special. He was special. Now the middle kid,
I think.
Speaker 4 (41:14):
Uh yeah, he kind of he kind of he kind
of got off. He was one of those guys that,
uh you know, he played with some special talent. I
never really saw his game really like, uh you know, like,
oh yeah he again respect, but I never saw his
game just jump off the screen at me.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
I don't know about you.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
I think the unfortunate thing is is because he grew
up with his brother. His brother was a point. I
think that he has the body in size of a point, right,
and they never developed him into a point. He all
three of them should have been points. But since he
played with his brother, because they were about the same,
Ada may say, I think that's the problem.
Speaker 4 (41:46):
Yeah, yeah, So he never got a chance and he
was just totally too small to pay like the three
or the four.
Speaker 3 (41:51):
You have to be a generational talent like Charles Barkley.
Charles Barkley is undersized about six four six five, so big. Yes,
but it's like Shack. When Shack play, you couldn't. I mean, honestly,
if you would have, if you would have called the
game like it was supposed to. Shack would have filed
out of every game, and the person guarding him with.
Speaker 4 (42:08):
A fould out every noight guarantee. I mean, I mean
you you remember how that was. You just you just
had to grab him. There was nothing you could do.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
It was just totally you would just throw it down
there and just turn around and the shackle just dunk it.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
Yeah yeah, and embarrass you sit in the front roun man.
Speaker 4 (42:22):
Then he was just really disrespectful. I mean, you know
some of the stuff he used to do to people.
So again it's Coach B and Eternal right here live
in the great City of Riverside at the iHeart Radio Studios. Again,
we just had we want to say congratulates, congratulate as
everybody's playing that song right now graduation time, but we
want to say congratulations to our our MVP Dad Father
Day Experience winner, mister Nick Coffee.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
Again he's gonna walk.
Speaker 4 (42:44):
Away with a great deluxe prize package one hundred dollars

treat Box, Sweet Treats and Crafts. In addition to two
(43:08):

fan or what are your thoughts about going to the Charlie.
Speaker 3 (43:17):
What day is that?
Speaker 2 (43:18):
That's the twenty eighth, man, that's the twenty eighth.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
I have to check the schedule.
Speaker 4 (43:22):
Check the schedule, Check the schedule, check the schedule, and see,
I'm gonna go out there.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
I'm gonna outre I'm gonna look. Let me tell you something.
Speaker 4 (43:28):
If mister Sampson is talking about shooting me a pair
of boots, I'm going out there.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
I'm putting my boots in the dirt.
Speaker 3 (43:36):
So there you go.
Speaker 4 (43:37):
We're gonna take a quick break. When we come back.
We're gonna talk about a couple more events we have
coming up again. Coach b and I will we'll talk
a little bit about this uh uh, this situation going
on with some NBA.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (43:48):
Also, we might even pull up pull up some football.
Last week, I think we pulled up the Dallas Cowboys.
I don't know we could pull up the Chargers. Uh,
you know because coach, you know, he leaned on me
pretty good about about my cowboy.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
Yes, but let's pull up them Chargers.
Speaker 3 (44:02):
Well, I was talking on that they're gonna beat They
have them predicted to beat the Chargers again. This is

Speaker 2 (47:20):
Coach B.
Speaker 4 (47:20):
As we were talking about we were gonna get into
a little bit of this NFL news that is going on.
But before we do that, I have to make sure
I give a big shout out. I know, Coach Matt
broke the internet last week when he came in there
and he said he had Ontario Christian Circle coach Matt
is the new head girls basketball coach. We had to
(47:42):
make sure we're gonna drop some excerpts of that great
interview from last week. Really, it's crazy, some big things
happened with that because not only is he the new
head coach, coach Matt being in the new head coach
of where Corona Centennial, but he also brought one of
the stars over from his former school, which is Miss
Sydney Bean. Coach b We've we've seen her, you know, everybody,
(48:03):
I mean, I don't know what school doesn't want this
young lady, highly highly sought after, but he was able
to bring her over there. Now she's gonna be also
over there with Miss with Sid Bryant. So it's gonna
be the Twin Towers over there. I don't it's gonna
be tough out there. But nonetheless, there was a big
time announcement on the twelfth Congratulations to mis Tati Griffin,
(48:28):
phenomenal number one in the nation and her class class
of twenty twenty eight, and she was selected to the
USA Under sixteen team. She's gonna compete in the FOBA
Under sixteen American Cup. It's gonna be in Mexico next
week and it's gonna be really really great stuff. Again,
big shout out to Tati Griffin of Ontario Christian.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
Class of twenty twenty eight. Coach. Look when they you know,
twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 4 (48:56):
When I was a kid, I thought it's gonna be
like the Jetsons, you know what I mean, had no idea.
But again, big shout out to Miss Tati Griffin for
being selected.
Speaker 2 (49:05):
Coach you.
Speaker 4 (49:06):
But I got my schedule up. That my schedule up
for your your chargers. I don't know if you have
the schedule up.
Speaker 3 (49:11):
I'll pull that up right now. We're gonna get into.
Speaker 2 (49:14):
We're gonna gonna were gonna dive in. We got ten minutes.
Speaker 9 (49:16):
Man.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
You know, last week, Coach B and I.
Speaker 4 (49:18):
We looked at my Dallas Cowboys, Uh you know, I mean,
you know, it looks like we could have a potential.
I mean, at least that's what the NFL on Fox said,
we have a potential uh winning season right now. But
again that's all on paper now, nobody's in the grass yet.
But I got this pulled up for you know, all,
(49:39):
I guess what is it?
Speaker 2 (49:41):
How many weeks is it?
Speaker 5 (49:42):
Is it? What?
Speaker 2 (49:43):
Seventeen seventeen weeks?
Speaker 4 (49:45):
Okay, here we go, so week one, coach b the Chiefs.
We know that's a bop, right, we know we know
that's gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (49:52):
Uh, you know, it depends on where it says.
Speaker 4 (49:54):
It all depends on where I'm gonna say that. It's
Arena Corinthian. So that's not here. That's out allegiance.
Speaker 3 (50:00):
That means beating them, and it could be game one.
You know, Travis is on World Tour with you know,
I just saw them at a hockey game, so you know,
you never know, you never know, right, and you know
they changed what even hold on? Is that an overseas?
Oh that's gotta be overseas.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
That sounds like Greece or something. Yeah, good call on that. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
I was like, wait a minute, don't know that's the
that's actually that's called out there in KC.
Speaker 2 (50:26):
Good call on that.
Speaker 3 (50:26):
Yeah, Arena Corinthians. That is actually in. I'm pulling it.
I have it in front of me. It doesn't show
the country, but it's it's not over Brazil. Brazil is
a game in Brazil wow, yow, because I know that's
not where the Chiefs plays.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
No, no, no, it's not. So wow.
Speaker 4 (50:44):
That's going to be an i n t L game.
So they're they're gonna be that's going to be kicking off. Well,
at least they have a fourteen day period for the
next game, which will be against the Las Vegas Raiders.
We've been out there one of the great stadiums for
the NFL Allegiance Stadium.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
That'll be right.
Speaker 4 (50:59):
That's that's almost like a home game. But who you
got on that game? So against the Raiders, So it's
gonna be easy.
Speaker 3 (51:04):
That's light work.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
That's like, yeah, that's the light work. Well, let me
tell you something. The Donkeys, that's what they call them,
the Denver Broncos. These boys are real. I mean, let
me tell you something. They got that.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
They got old bow knicks out there.
Speaker 4 (51:13):
Everybody's hyping them and obviously they got our former offensive
coordinator at at the head coach.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
But who you got on on the on the Denver
Broncos at so.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
Far, that's easy. That's light work. We got that. Yeah,
that's the light work, light work. Season two bow Knicks
still haven't figured out.
Speaker 2 (51:27):
Okay, so we got two on one right now.
Speaker 4 (51:28):
And then the Giants, I mean, everybody knows light work
is okay, okay, we got three and one so far.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
Week five, oh boy.
Speaker 3 (51:35):
Week five, that's going to be so I said we
got that. I said that I take a dub season
two they'll have they'll have jad and Daniels.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
Figure, are you serio?
Speaker 4 (51:45):
I am yes, yes, so four okay, So on Coach
B's meter for one, okay, and then check this out.
Speaker 2 (51:52):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (51:52):
And then we have two other guys from from local.
We have our guy who's my guy from Redlands. His
name is beside me right now. We went to this
camp as well. Phillips, Jaden Phillips. We have Jaden Phillips
out there brand reconstructed knee. He would be out there
this season. And then the newly acquired Alexander Madison from
the heart of Sam Berndina, who you got in that
game right there again on the road.
Speaker 3 (52:13):
Now that's a tough one because that's cross country. Yes,
and if too. He you know, he's had some time
to recover. I know when you get that cancussion that
it can take a couple of it can take a while.
Now he has an off season to get it all together.
I think that he will be fine. I say, going
all the way to Miami, and that's tough Miami. When
(52:34):
you travel, it's a it's a ten a m game.
So that means it's what seven o'clock o'clock, seven o'clock
our time here. That's tough.
Speaker 2 (52:44):
That's tough.
Speaker 3 (52:44):
That's gonna be an l.
Speaker 2 (52:45):
Yeah, that could be. So we got four and two
right now and against coach being Eternto right here live Fox,
coach Will that's light world.
Speaker 4 (52:51):
Okay, okay, when we're talking about the La charl I
almost cat him the San Diego Chargers.
Speaker 3 (52:55):
Yes, they just came home. They were born in Los
Angeles and they just came home.
Speaker 2 (53:00):
That's all they did all So we got five.
Speaker 4 (53:01):
So now we got five and two again according to
Coach B's metrics right now, and again he's called the
coach easy work.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
Knocked them off. Okay, Now, Minnesota Vikings, that's.
Speaker 3 (53:11):
Gonna be a tough one. I think they have a
great coach. It all depends on that QB.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
He was hurt, Yes he did.
Speaker 3 (53:17):
He's he's a rookie. But you know, they they've got
to think he's special.
Speaker 4 (53:21):
If they let Arnold, I'm about to say, if you
let him go like that, they definitely saw him, that
saw him do something. And and again first year injured
the whole year. So he's coming back off a knee injury.
So we're gonna kind of see what he's able to do.
Uh So, right now, that's a toss up right there.
So you know what, if it's a toss up, we're
gonna go called out of l four and three right now.
Speaker 3 (53:41):
Since it's an away game, it's a home it's a
home game. So that's and Herbert we got to see
because this is week eight. This is about the time
that his body started to break down. He started gett
hit a little bit. Yeah, yeah, he's not the mobile
QB he used to know.
Speaker 4 (53:55):
No, no them heads boy, NFLA do that to you.
So so four and three right now again we're going
in a week nine at four and three.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
Wait, we must have missed something. Do we miss something?
Don't know?
Speaker 4 (54:05):
Okay, so we know we're five and three. My apology,
we're five and three. Okay, Now we have the tennis
the Titans of Tennessee again in away game.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
Tennessee is tough. Tennessee is tough. Man, But I don't
know what your thoughts are on that.
Speaker 3 (54:16):
And that's another thing where you're going back east. Yep,
that's traveling.
Speaker 6 (54:20):
I don't know what.
Speaker 4 (54:22):
Tennessee is what two that's two hours if I'm not mistaken.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
That's still okay, So that's still tough. That's still tough
getting yeah, getting in that rhythm and working it through.
So that could be that that could be a tough one.
That could be an l as well.
Speaker 2 (54:35):
Okay, so now we're talking. Now we're close.
Speaker 4 (54:38):
We're five and four now, sliding into week ten with
the newly acquired not taking any anymore wacky Tobacci. Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 2 (54:46):
That's light work.
Speaker 3 (54:47):
Aaron Rodgers is oh wow, that's that's and you know,
this is the sad thing is when you see when
you see guys that don't know when to sit down
and Aaron, Yeah, Aaron Rodgers. And now this is Aaron
Rodgers Aaron Rodgers seventy eight years ago. Okay, great, but
I mean what he has no weapons? He got I
know he has metcalf, but other than that, well, they
(55:08):
don't have a running game.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
Yeah, you know, they got a running game. I forgot
the running backs name.
Speaker 3 (55:12):
The dude from Arizona up from Alabama, big boy, I
forgot his name. He's from he's from northern California.
Speaker 4 (55:18):
Yeah, yes, yes, indeed we're on the same page. So
you're saying light work right there. Coach calls that one.
So we got right now, we got six, six and four, Yes,
sliding in the week eleven and everybody.
Speaker 3 (55:29):
Actually, should we even show up? Should we even play
that game?
Speaker 2 (55:33):
Matter fact, we might have someenten years show up right there? Right,
let's let's go ahead and call that.
Speaker 4 (55:38):
Okay, we got seven right now, we got seven to four,
coach beating turtle right here live with Fox Sports Radio.
And we got a week. We got a buy right there, Okay,
seven and four. Still after the bye we go in.
We got the Raiders again. They're mad because you beat
him up last, to beat him up last time, they're
gonna be and again.
Speaker 2 (55:54):
This this is up Pete Carroll. Now, Coach b what
do you think.
Speaker 3 (55:57):
That's another dub? I think I just the race. Who's
that Minshew? Is their quarterback?
Speaker 2 (56:02):
Like?
Speaker 3 (56:02):
Come on, I don't, I don't.
Speaker 4 (56:05):
Yeah, yeah, okay, okay, what there it is right there?
We have eight and four right there, eight and four uh,
we're going into week fourteen.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
Oh, that's an L. That's I'll take that one. That's
an okay. You know they did not ban the Toush push,
so no, so they still had that, which is I
don't here's the thing. You talk about, player safety, you
talk about that's just not a it's not a football.
Speaker 2 (56:31):
No, it's not. I hate that playing personally. So okay.
Speaker 4 (56:33):
So so right now we're at we're at, Uh, that's
eight and six if I'm not mistaken, eight and six rolling.
Speaker 2 (56:40):
Into Kansas City, Coach b that's arrowhead.
Speaker 3 (56:44):
That's an L. So we gave up the home game. Yeah,
so that's that's that's tough.
Speaker 4 (56:49):
So we gave it against a rival that's tough.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
That's tough. That is tough.
Speaker 2 (56:54):
Son you guys get paid for that one.
Speaker 3 (56:56):
That's an L. But then we getter that's a dub.
Speaker 2 (56:58):
Okay. So so so we got so we're eight seven,
nine and seven.
Speaker 3 (57:03):
That's that's light work. That's easy. That's that's that's that's
too easy. That's just too Dallas Cowboys serious, that's just
too easy.
Speaker 2 (57:12):
Hey, this is coach be doing it right here. Coach
be doing it right here. So we got so now
we have nine.
Speaker 4 (57:17):
We got nine, but nine and six, nine and six six, Okay,
so we gotta win against the Cowboys. Uh, the Texans,
what do you feel about that?
Speaker 3 (57:26):
The Texans Week seventeen and eighteen, those are dubs against
like because he's coming home. Yeah, and that's the problem.
So so for them, like we said, with a cross
country travel, they have to do the same.
Speaker 2 (57:37):
True.
Speaker 3 (57:37):
So it's gonna be and that's you know, uh, football players,
they have rituals and root and postitions and when their
time schedules are off, and he's gonna be home. So
he's gonna be out here partying up. He's gonna be relaxing,
he's gonna be in the club.
Speaker 2 (57:50):
He's gonna be over at the mills.
Speaker 4 (57:52):
Yeah, he's gonna grinning, autographs taken, pitures they bring.
Speaker 3 (57:57):
On catch it, you know, Rancho Cucamonga High School. Yeah,
he gonna be tired.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
Okay. So see they said he's gonna be tired.
Speaker 4 (58:03):
So okay, So look, so you guys are walking into
week eighteen with a potential at least fighting for second place.
And then it was at ABC West, so again going
against the Donkeys again.
Speaker 2 (58:18):
Coach b the Denver Bronco light work.
Speaker 3 (58:20):
I didn't like bow Nig mile high. That's the Oregon Bowl,
the bowt knicks against Herbert uh and both nix is
he's not.
Speaker 2 (58:28):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (58:29):
I don't know, but it is nonetheless with the new
transfer portal. And that's an old ten o'clade. But I
got that as a dub.
Speaker 2 (58:34):
Yeah, there it is right there again.
Speaker 4 (58:35):
Well again Coach B's talking about that's a potential winning
record right there for oh for sure. Okay, but there
it is right there again. Thanks everybody, big child to
Charles Sampson again, I.
Speaker 3 (58:44):
Am your host eternal.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
Listen to me. You're listening to the coach being eternal.
Speaker 3 (58:47):
I am host eternal, and I'm your host coach be
on five Sports Radio Hert and Southern California AM thirteen
fifty is always for streaming twenty four to seven on
the iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
See you next week, Sho
