Speaker 3 (00:26):
I am your host, Coach B.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
And I am your host E Turner right here live
in a great city of Riverside at the iHeartRadio Studios
and then great city of Riverside, Great great stuff going on,
lots happening in the sports world. Glad you guys could
join us for another good show.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Coach Be.
Speaker 5 (00:42):
How you feeling this morning?
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Feeling good?
Speaker 5 (00:44):
Man?
Speaker 2 (00:44):
It's another day, another dollar. You can't beat it. It's
always a good day to wake up. What about yourself?
Speaker 6 (00:49):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (00:49):
And everything's good? You know.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
I gotta make sure we ask you since we did
have our big campaign going on, how will the files
a dad?
Speaker 5 (00:58):
How do you spend it?
Speaker 7 (01:00):
Me?
Speaker 5 (01:00):
You tell you said it was going to kind of
take it light, but how to go for you?
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Father'sday is always good.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
My my wife had her brother and father and you know,
the one thing what's his name, Dion Cole said this,
and this is you're starting to understand and understand what
he's meant when he said you never want to join
club fifty and what he means by that is joining
the age of fifty and above because that's when our
parents start.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
To break down.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
And you can see that my wife is you know,
I won't go into details, but yeah, there's us. There's
some things there there that my wife is starting to
notice and it's just it's just tough on her.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
So oh yeah, but it is what.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
It is, man, Yeah, no doubt about. I mean, I know,
I'm you know my grandfather, I know a different situation.
I know my grandfather watching him go through you know
what he's going through, and it's you know, it's just
a rough situation. But you know, I think, you know,
one of the things I know I look at and
I try to find some some grace in is that
you know, he had a wonderful life, you know what
I mean, lived a lived a really really good life
to a lot of great things, just about a lot
(01:55):
of people.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
So I try to.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
Find joy in that versus just looking at him in
a really tough state right now, you know, I mean.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
It's hard to see those last years, those last few years.
You know, my grandmother had passed away. She didn't pass
away of COVID, but she passed away during COVID when
the initial outbreak, and I didn't get a chance to
travel because she's still in Mississippi.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I didn't get a chance to travel to see her.
Speaker 8 (02:13):
It will always haunt me because she was saying that
I need to see you, why you I need you
to see me while I can still see you.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
That'll live with me for the rest of my days.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
But you know, it's hard because you want to remember
her when she's young and when they're doing stuff.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
So yeah, I totally get it.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
But you know, it's it's funny now for the first time,
and you know, my life. Every time I almost every
time I look at my phone, I look at my
phone at six oh one.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Which is weird because that's the area code that she
was in.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
So every time I look at my phone and I
see six oh one, I think of my big mama.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
So it's ironic.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Man, I never noticed that, but now I see six
on one all the time when I look at my phone.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
So you know, man, you know, it's one of those
things is you know when your family, you know, they're
close to you and they affect you like that, that's
what happens, you know, I mean you're still connected to
them in some kind of way.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
I'll never forget the first time I told my my
you know, then your girlfriend, that wife, you know, we're
talking about family. I say, yeah, my big mama, and
Missis she's like, why would you say that? I was like, wait,
where are you from. It's like, I've never heard a
person that you know, of color who didn't call their
grandmother big mama. Well you know she did not.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Yeah, no, that's that's really a South thing. Yeah, deep South, Yeah,
deep deep South. I know, you know, we we you know,
we called our grandmama. You know, my grand I had
so like my both sides of the family that different
ways because once my mother's side hated you know, she
hated being called grandmother and we had to call her mimi,
and then the other one was fine, she grandmama.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
That was what it was.
Speaker 8 (03:33):
So it's crazy, Yeah, my big mama, that was that
was her big MoMA. Then when it came out to
the movie Big Mama's House, is like, yeah, that's I
love that's yeah, it is a Southern thing, it is.
And that's like when I was a kid, I used
to go to Mississippi would say gold teeth.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
That was a Southern thing. I don't know when that
became a West Coast thing.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Well, honestly, it was so from so you know, it's
it's definitely, you know, I think, you know, you kind
of I think the gold tee's got definitely was a
South thing. The people start doing it real different in
New York and then obviously you know now you know,
you know, you know, the West Coast does that.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
That's the thing.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
You know when I when I moved to Atlanta, I mean,
every person you met, at least the natives of Atlanta
had gold Yes, they did.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
My gen everybody.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
I remember my grandfather, Lawrence Hils and this is in
the eighties. He had his gold teeth. I was like,
what's going on.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
That's just straight tradition for them out there.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
But again, we're right here, Live Coach being eternal great
Saturday mornings. I'll take the overcast because it's been a
hot week excuse me, it's been a hot week, Coach.
We had a lot of stuff going on last week,
obviously Father's Day was going on. So what we did
we partnered up with Graham's Barbecue. Coach by, I know,
(04:47):
you've got to get a chance to kind of see
one of our lucky winners won some really really great prize.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
I wanted to kind of just go over the list.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
I'll started off Graham's Barbecue again right here, located in
the great city of Riverside, down town.
Speaker 5 (05:00):
They kicked it off.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
They had their Father's Day celebration and car show, really
really spectacular event. I mean, I gotta I gotta get
miss Bennita back on. She just did a wonderful job
down there. But the winner, mister Nick Coffee, who was
the great winner of our of our, of our of
our prize. Mister Nick Coffee, he won a one hundred
(05:22):
dollars gift card from Graham's Barbecue.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
Coach, b what else did I win and walk away with?
Speaker 8 (05:26):
We got to see if he's related to a mere
So he got the one hundred dollars gift card to Graham's,
a one night's stay at the Hyatt and Piot Place
in Riverside.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
And then he also walked away with a nice fresh
pair of sneakers from six r L Brand News sneaker
boutique located as well on Main Street downtown Riverside.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
And what else you get a custom hat treat box
from Sweet Treats and Crafts.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Can beat that?
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Can beat that man? And let me tell you some coach,
b she did a nice job. You know, our guy
is a he's an adult beverage guy, so he you know,
he's really big into the to the drafts, what the craft,
the craft adult beverages. So she made him a nice
hat with the like a little picture on there. It
was really really slick the way she did a big
shout out to our girl, Nikki did that put that
out there for us. And then and then finally, uh,
(06:14):
he also walked away with and what I did for him,
I said, hey, it's a pair. But he's a family
of five, coach, but you know this, when you go
out there, you got to take the kids, you know,
so you gotta take the kids.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
So we're gonna do it.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
We're gonna go ahead hook him up and make sure
that you know he his his wonderful wife.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
And then uh.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
His uh, his three children can also be in attendance.
So that's gonna that's that kind of rallies up to
the big time. Uh uh the m v P Dad
Father's Day experience. And also I got to give a
big shout out to my man the fans tuning in.
Uh he said, he said he's a coach. He said,
the Mike sound nice. Man, so does want to make
sure a big shot after I got.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
There, can't be that.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
That's always a good thing. Appreciate that. You're always always
good to see people checking in and seeing how's everything going.
So yeah, that's always a good thing when you're gonna
when when the gentleman he can take the entire family
out and celebrated, and that's what that's what Father's Day
is all about.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
You know.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
Yeah, man, he was. I was really really happy. You know.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
I think that they're still working on all the rest
of the pictures, but one thing I do know that
he brought his whole family out. They were really excited.
He was just like he was really really excited. His
wife is excited. So that was it was really great
to see. And again, big shout out to Benita. The
they did a wonderful job with the block party and
the car show. Had the really really nice cars out there.
I mean, the barbecue was in the air. I mean
(07:28):
he gave you that way back nostalgic kind of feel.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Man. It was really nice.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
So got the block party going. It's good. And it's
always nice when dads get celebrated.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
Oh yeah, not often that we get our flowers, as
you say.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Yeah, yeah, you take that one day and you roll
with it.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
It's like they said, we usually get our flowers when
we're already done, our days are done. But it's always
nice to get your flowers when you're still rocking and rolling.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
So that's good. Congratulations to that young man.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
Yeah, man, he did a good, wonderful job with that.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
And then we also had just the other day and
again big shot to my man was over there.
Speaker 5 (07:59):
I mean he was rolling tough with us. Excuse me.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
But so Thursday we had the Juneteenth Jam. Big shout
out to Miss Vicki Davis. We had her in the studio. Yeah,
let me tell you something, coach, being that young lady
did a phenomenal job. I mean, you know, I mean
she had it was a car show, you know, it
was a it was a three on three basketball tournament
with the young ladies. It was a three point contest.
(08:23):
I mean, there was a there was kids running around.
There was like a big wheel contest. They were rolling
around the big will I mean, coach b I mean,
they had vendors out there. You know, when I saw it,
I was like, there's no way this is gonna just
gonna get you know, when you have out all those things,
you think something's gonna miss up.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
Man.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
But it was just so well done. I mean multiple stages.
I got a chance to host a three point contest,
got got a chance to even see some kids coach
when we when we started our uh the our Youth
Clippers League back in the day, and some of these
these kids are big kids now and they're like, hey man,
you know I'm I'm a senior now. I'm like, oh
(08:59):
my goodness. So it was really great to go out
there be amongst the people. Had a great time. But again,
a big shout out to Viki. She just did a
wonderful job with that June teen celebration.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
And that's good stuff.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
That's always good when you can see that go out
and celebrate and do you think I was at home
I was sleep so.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Say, I'm gonna take that day off.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Man.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
I was up. I heard that.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
Well, I mean because you I mean you're working all time. Man,
you're driving everywhere, so I know you were like, hey,
I'm gonna take that day. I'm gonna roll with it, man.
So I totally get it.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
Absolutely. The wife had to work and I loved, you know,
rubbed it in her face.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
But I was at home. I didn't wake up to
almost ten o'clock. So yeah, man, it's a lot. But
that's what you get. You got to do with guarantee.
You gotta take that time, man, no doubt about it.
That's a good thing. You were able to at least,
you know, get some time like that. I know it
doesn't happen a lot.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
So that's good stuff, right, absolutely, So no, so real quick,
another quick thing we have going on, really exciting stuff.
We're gonna take it there. Man, this has been some stuff.
We've been back and forth with the good folks. I
just I've been texting uh this gentleman's sister really really
excited to announce today.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
We will be uh in the great city of Ontario.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
We will be out there for a really great thing
it's gonna be the Sugar Shane Moseley meet and greet.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
That's right, Sugar Shane Moley.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
I mean, you know, everybody says he should have beat
he should have beat Floyd. You know he beat Oscar
I mean you know, I mean just just you know

gonna be You're gonna get a chance to meet the legends.

(10:35):
then we're gonna also get a chance to have Shane
uh just be amongst the people. We're also gonna have
his brother out there. I'm excuse me, his brother, his son.
His son is like thirty somethings and you know son,
you know he's looking at me like, hey man, what's
going on. So he's actually trying to become a world
champion as well. So good stuff. I know you have
some great memories of watching the Shane fights back in
the day, Coach b.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Oh, Yeah, Sugar Shane was one of the best to
do it in the local kid. Just a great boxer,
a great story, great testament. When you think about the
second and third generation. Yeah, man, Now I know he said.
I look when I looked it up, he said it
said his dad was a boxer. But Shane corrected me,
and I wasn't gonna dispute it because I know Shane
still got them, still got them. So I said, yes, sir,
(11:15):
I said, not a problem. And it's kind of like
with t I trying to run up on Floyd.
Speaker 8 (11:20):
Saying you know what I do living. Yeah, you don't
want to, you don't want you don't want no part
of you.
Speaker 4 (11:26):

kind of give you a scenario. What's happening. This is
all leading up to the big fight that Shane is

around Coach b because there's another big fight that Shane
is looking to have later in the year around December.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
That there's a lot of stuff happening.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
I mean, you know, there's a people that's whispered because
he was he was jogging up the mountain with Manny Pakia.
How many Pakia is fighting real soon as well. So
there's a lot of stuff going on. Obviously, we're gonna
we're gonna talk to him about the big fight is
happening in September, which I'm personally really excited about. That's
gonna be our guy, Bud Terrence Crawford from Omaha, Nebraska.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
I got paid for my moms.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
Everybody's fun, so big shout out to our guy Bud
Crawford and uh so, and he's not He's gonna be

legend himself already.
Speaker 5 (12:47):

He's a legendary fighter, that's Canelo Alvarez. So it's gonna
be uh, you know, we'll get a chance to talk
to him about that fight as well.
Speaker 8 (12:54):
Yes, that's gonna be good stuff, good stuff to see
you can't beat that. It's it's uh, it's always good
to see these gummen progress and do their thing.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
Man.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
So we said, so we did a recap. That's everything

Speaker 4 (17:12):
I'm your host, Coach, and I am Turner right here
live in a great city of Riverside at the iHeartRadio
Studios Recorder live every Saturday morning again, make sure you
guys come out hang out with us. Today will be
over live at daven Bustered for the Meet the Legends,
Sugar Shaane Moldsley, meet and greet. It's gonna be great.
Go ahead, come on out. Getting it starts at twelve
(17:34):
noon today. However, right here live we are talking as
we always do.
Speaker 9 (17:40):
I E.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Football is coming up. It is upon this Coach. We're
already man. We it feels like we just got out
of it, man, but it is already here. So we're
gonna go ahead man, we'll break it down. We'll start
off with Girl's Flag. Now, we always right around the time,
we always can out and we'll do something similar this year.
(18:04):
We always kick out a preseason top five as well.
I missed me a preseason top ten and then also
we do that in football. But again with girls Flag
football just really really heating up. You know, we're definitely
gonna follow suit, and we're going to do a preseason
this year. However, I just want to kind of go
(18:24):
over what we you know, last year, when we stopped
last year, the final the final top five that we had.
We're gonna kind of do a little quick review on
those programs. So with Girls Flag last year, it's the
number five team. This is in the entire Inland Empire.
Riverside in Saborgini Riverside in Sambordino County is the greater area,
(18:47):
the greatest and the greatest surrounding areas. Excuse me, but
nonetheless we had at number five, we had, uh, Santiago,
is that right? Santiago at number five and Santiago and
they were just a really really good team last year.
Those young ladies were out there. They had a record
of nine and three and let me tell you something.
(19:09):
They were playing really good. They were competitive.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
They were constantly on us and saying, hey, we need
to get fit, we need to be hiring. Those rankings.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
So even you know, people think that the boys football
rankings were competitive, but the girl's flag were really really competitive.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Of course, be who we have at number four.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
At number four, you had the Corona Centennial had a
really good year, always had a good year. I know
coach Logan had took over the over the range. Yeah,
I think it's dark, had picked up a college year.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
She and she's over there. Actually she's again.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
They're really they're talking really favorably about what she's been doing,
just you know, in the short time she's been there.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
But yeah, she took a job.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
So it was really great to see that Centennial still
picked up the pieces, as you said, and still ended
out at at number four, and they had a great
record of nine and four. Number three we had a
Western Christian and now there was a lot you know,
there were you know, they were they were, they were competitive.
They I mean they went out there. I think their
(20:03):
record says twenty three and three, twenty four and three.
I mean they played a lot of games. The coach
was really excited. He ended up being our He ended
up representing Sam Bernardina on our All Star Game, which
is really really great to see. I was happy for that.
But again they ended up at number three. Coach, be
who'd you have at number two?
Speaker 8 (20:22):
I believe that's Bonita. Yes, yes, yes, they came out
of nowhere. So they came with a great season.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Great good to see those young ladies come out of
They just came out of nowhere.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
So yeah, man, I mean that, but you know, cause
you don't really hear a lot about Benita that program.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Man.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
But again, we had that coach come in, young guy.
He was fired up and he had those young ladies
playing some really really inspired ball. And then number one
coach b We've known this well, you've known this lady.
You've known this family for quite some time. So I'll
let you try and take the reins on that because
you know you know all about this coach.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Yeah, it's none other than the Constables. I've known them
over ten years.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
They were they her husband who's now they're both coaching
in college at the college level. Jennifer Coach Constable is
a D one coach and she her son who now
is a father.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
He just turned twenty five. Crazy, he is a father.
I think he was on our.
Speaker 8 (21:13):
Eleven twelve team, Yes, but I knew them years before that,
so I've known them.
Speaker 5 (21:18):
You actually said he was actually on the team.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Yeah, his son, Yeah, the oldest, well, both of the boys.
Both of the boys played in the Fontana Lancers. I
coached the younger son, the older son. The dad, Matt
Constable coached the one year we were with the Lancers.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
So yeah, we go back.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
That was Brianna's between her oldest and my oldest are
the same made. So Brianna'll be twenty five this year
as well. And I think that was the eleven twelve
team that they were apart, so that was over ten
years ago something that they were involved.
Speaker 5 (21:44):
So yeah, yeah, so a lot of history with them.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
But as you mentioned, so Roosevelt and we're talking about
none other than Roosevelt Mustangs eleanor Roosevelt Mustangs. Now that
coach Constable will be gone, I don't know. I don't
know if her son is picking up that job. I'm
not sure what exactly has happened, well the kind of
and do some insight on that, but I know they
have a really strong team coming back returning, so we'll
see how that goes. But again that right there, that
(22:09):
rounded up are our top five girls flag teams of
last year. And again you know we'll be doing a
preseason uh pull and ranking really really soon to make
sure you got stay tuned for that.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
Uh coming back up now, now we have H.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
You know, always decorated, always really really competitive. Is the
boys boys tackle football. And last year, man, let me
tell you something, it was rocking and rolling. So I'll
started off I think this says okay, let me make
sure I got it right here, because I know I
did a screenshot. So coming in at number five, you
had the team is always competitive, always out there doing great.
(22:48):
You know, have some of the some of the better uniforms.
We're talking about none other than Damien. Damien did a
wonderful job. They were at we we have they ended
up I think they ended up losing because they know
that baseline in the league is really really competitive. You
have you know, you got Edawanda in that baseline league,
you have H, you have ranchall Cook Monka, and then
(23:10):
you have upland so I mean, you know, just just
just you know every week is going to be competitive.
But we had Damien at number five. Coach be, who
do you have at number four? Who we have at
number four?
Speaker 2 (23:18):
At number four, you had none other than Chaparral out
there in that Temecula Valley had a strong year. They're
always competitive out there in that Temecula Valley. That's become
like the new region for some seriously competitive football out there.
Speaker 5 (23:31):
Yeah, and a coach.
Speaker 15 (23:32):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (23:33):
The crazy thing about that is so coach.
Speaker 15 (23:37):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
He he ended up coaching our All Star game as well.
Represented he represented the Riverside County area. And we just
got I just got word that they got a big
time transfer somebody that we know. Well, he's none other
than mister Snyder. And you know Snyder won on He's
actually the kid who won MVP for our eighth grade game.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Coach b.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
He was he was went to Norco and now he's
going to be transferred over and he'll be playing at
Chaparral next year. So Chaparral is going to be loaded,
and uh, they're looking to be you know, they're looking
to compete with you know, the the coach logans of
the world, which you know, I mean, hey, you know
that's lofty, but you just never know. They have a
brand new facility over there, so be on the lookout
(24:19):
and be looking out for Chaparral.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
Of course, be who we have at number.
Speaker 8 (24:23):
Three and number three you have the team that's up
that heel, and that would be none other than Oak Hills.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Very good. They're always a competitive program.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
We watched them build that program for over you know,
over a decade, so they're they're really really starting to
get it to roll their They're start running back Carson
Cox is now over at UCLA getting integrated, so he's
out there doing the things. Good to see that now
they're starting to put and you can see they're starting
to put out a lot of athletes against scholarships.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Now they're getting the marquee schools because u c.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
L a Is is definitely a marquee university, one of
the biggest and most competitive in all of the nations.
Speaker 4 (24:59):
And they were toalking about Cox being one of the
top running backs in the nation as well, if I'm
not mistaken. So great kid too. We had him in
the studio a couple of times. H Really, I can't
wait to see him playing on Saturdays. I know, I know,
you know, uh, you know, I know, coach, but that's
not your team, you know what I mean. But I'm
sure you'll be getting chance to kind of peek in
on him every now.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
And then at the end of the day, you know.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
And you know, this is one thing my daughter doesn't
seem to understand, you know us he takes my money.
GCU helped me get money because GCU is my school,
right right, So you know I like USC, but I
am an antelope, So you know, I have no allegiance
to anyone. I've learned being in sports. It's just you know,
only fans worry about championship.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
That's it, man, That's yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
But yeah, so hopefully he gets it. We will see
him out.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
There, guaranteed, no doubt about it. Man. So and then
coming in that number two coach, but who we have
at number two?
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Number two?
Speaker 2 (25:43):
You have Marietta Valley again, like I said, out there
in that Temecula Valley out there with Chaparral. So that's
going to be some competitive, competitive football out there in
that Temecula Falliy, our guy Burns is out there. We
gotta see what I guy Burns is doing. He's always
competitive out there as well.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
Yeah, yeah, No, the big shout to coach Burns represented
for Lynfield Christian out there. You know, I'm sure he's
he's right now, right now somewhere with tape on his
finger training.
Speaker 5 (26:08):
Somebody guaranteed you, no doubt, absolutely absolutely.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
I know his son's playing over in Canada now, yes, yes.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
Yeah, I saw him posting that just the other day.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
So a big shout out to young Burns again, another
great kid we had coming coming. We watched him come
up as well, so it's just great to see these uh,
these kids come up. Turn the young man doing their thing. Now,
coach behoo, we have at number one. I mean, you
know this team right here. You know, this is a
team that I mean sometimes competes for the national championship.
They do, so please do us the courtesy.
Speaker 9 (26:37):
You know.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
It's it's it's you know, I hate to say it,
but it's always a race for number two in the
Inland Empire because this team here, and people get upset,
people take shots, they come at us because because Centennial,
they'll start the season, you know, with a losing record.
They'll start h and two, oh and three, and then
you have to realize you look at their schedule. They
played uh uh Modern to day Hawaii Gormon, they'll play Bosco,
(27:00):
So they'll play these these these schools, these super schools.
Speaker 5 (27:03):
Right Arizona.
Speaker 8 (27:05):
Yeah, yeah, I mean and they not only do that,
he play that, they travel to high schools and thinking
about that as a high school team, right, you're not
taking a flight.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
They're probably all on charter buses.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Right, And those are the things that people have gotten
under except when when they're in Hawaii. But those are
the things that people have to think. And then once
league starts and Centennial gets it rolling, people are like, oh,
I guess you were right.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Yes, so number one again.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
I think in the ten years we've done this, they
probably been number one every year, and that's going to
be none other than the Corona Centennial.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
The Evil Empire.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
Yeah, and coach Logan, and they really hold tu to
their name. They are the Evil Empire because people just
they just love to hate them. But nonetheless, man, I
mean again, you're gonna see one of the kids. I
really still say that this kid may be one of
the top prospects that come out of Centennial. I'm talking
about Hassan long Street. Unfortunately, he's going to be playing
at US. Well, it's not unfortunately. We know we pushed
(27:55):
the best for him. I mean, he's gonna be over
at USC. I'd rather him be there that I think
he was gonna be at Texas think at first, Oh,
I can't remember.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Texas and M.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
Texas A and M was committed to go to Texas
A and M. And you know, USC has got to
keep the talent, man. I know they're talking about some
of the back end things you're going to do. You know,
I understand why they want to get rid of Notre Dame,
but I don't. But you know, because you you're in
the Big ten now, right, yeah? Yeah, And it's almost
that argument that the PAC twelve had where they played
one more league game than the SEC, so you're beating
(28:22):
yourselves up and Notre Dame isn't in the league so
they don't have to do that.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
So I understand it, but I don't.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
I mean, you you have because it was always one
year they're away at U C l A at home
and Notre Dame and vice versa, and it's going to
be something that if that game goes away. But USC,
I get it. You play, if you want to play,
you play on our terms. But ry C doesn't need
that game, right, true.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
True, that's one of the things when you look at that,
I mean, because to your to your overall point, they're
going to be playing some really tough football.
Speaker 5 (28:47):
Every Saturday is going to be tough, so you know,
and they have to travel back east.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
Yeah, so they're like, hey, Notre Dame, if if, if
you're good like that, you we'll see you in the playoffs.
Speaker 6 (28:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
It's one thing when you were playing Washington, Washington State, Arizona, Arizona,
but and you're traveling once a year back he's now
they have to do that two three times a year.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
And it's just it's college football is different.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
Now, yeah, it is.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
Man So so again as on Long Street, you could
definitely see this. This kid could potentially get some big time,
get some get some playing time coming up again.
Speaker 5 (29:12):
He's he's really projected to do some great things.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
I'm hearing a lot of good stuff about him on
on the net, you know, on on x Twitter and
whatever you call it. But they're speaking relief evorably about him.
But we're gonna go ahead and take a quick break again.
That is that is that wraps up for the Inland Empire.
Uh our our our top ten. We went excuse me,
we went over our top five of our top ten
(29:35):
excuse me, uh for girls flag and then we did
that also for football as well. We're gonna take a
quick break and then when we come back, really exciting stuff.
We're gonna have our man, Qus Camello, my man, my mellow.
He's gonna give us a quick call. He's gonna be
talking about, uh, some great things that are happening with
the Lakers. A blockbuster thing happened during the week, and
we'll kind of we'll talk to mister Mello about that
(29:57):
as well as our Dodgers are doing some great things.
They had a little scrimmage the other day, so we'll
kind of talk about that as well.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Yeah, and I was going to say one thing about
Long Long Street. When when when Lincoln tells him, hey,
I've coached Mayfield, Murray Hurts, and will In Kayler Williams.
I mean, it's it's a breaking Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Jalen
Hurts and Cayler Williams.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
That's kind of hard to not want to go play.
Speaker 5 (30:20):
For Hey, hey, hey, look clearly, which is why he
went there. So I mean, so I know there's something
to that Hey, look, that kid is sharp.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
We saw him and mean you saw him through the
ball uh uh, you know, up close and personal without
the paths, and we've seen him with the paths.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
The kid is special.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
So it's gonna be great to see him out there
with you know, getting coached up by some of the
better coaches and you know, really in the nation, and
then also having a lot of talent.
Speaker 5 (30:43):
Around him too.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
Absolutely, absolutely, Okay.
Speaker 5 (30:45):
Miss, we're gonna take a quick break. We come back.

But it is a pleasure to be on with you
guys this Saturday morning. How are you guys doing?
Speaker 5 (34:02):
Oh man, we are great. Coach b how you feeling

Speaker 3 (34:04):
Man, I'm always good, always good. I always feels better
when I got mellow on the phone.
Speaker 5 (34:10):
Now mellow again. Man. I know, I know you have been.
I know your line's been buzzing. I know you have been.
Speaker 4 (34:16):
Uh, you know this is like your time right now.
You got Dodgers Baseball going. But just you know, just
when we thought we wouldn't hear anything about the Lakers
until September. Uh, you know, they blow us out the
water with this big time sale. Uh, talk to us
about it. You know, how do you feel about this
(34:37):
and what were your what were your initial thoughts when
you heard this come down the pike.
Speaker 9 (34:41):
Yeah, well it was definitely huge.
Speaker 13 (34:45):
Obviously, I don't I didn't think it was gonna happen
when it did. Although I had been saying for a
while that I wonder how much longer the Bus family
could really hold hold on like this. They are the
last sort of No one been using the term mom
and pop shop, but the term is family owned business
that owns and operates the team. You don't see many,
(35:07):
and not just in the NBA, you don't see many
across professional sports. I think the Steinbrenner family, who owns
the Yankees, They're probably one of the other last family
owned operated, you know, businesses for a sports franchise.
Speaker 9 (35:21):
So I thought it was you know, I thought it
was a huge move, and I thought.
Speaker 13 (35:25):
It was a necessary one. You know, the Bus family
has owned the Lakers for forty six years. There's eleven
championships and I think, off the top of my head,
nineteen finals appearances over a forty six year span. I mean,
it is a rich history and not just the winning
of the championships, but everything that doctor Bus envision when
he bought the team in seventy nine. You talking about
(35:47):
the Laker girls, You're talking about floor side seat, you know,
court side seats, you know, seats on the floor.
Speaker 9 (35:53):
You're talking about in game entertainment.
Speaker 13 (35:55):
You're talking about using This is another thing people don't
talk about, using the to host non game events, rock concerts,
you know, other other events, other sporting events. So, I mean,
doctor Buss was a visionary and the NBA, as we
know it was the vision part of it.
Speaker 9 (36:14):
A big part of it was the vision of doctor Buss.
Speaker 13 (36:16):
The last twelve years with the kids owning it, it
has not been as good. You know, obviously, starting with
Jim and Johnny Buss. They made a mess of the organization.
Jeanie has done some good things since she was there. However,
you know, all it matters to Laker fans is are
we winning and are we competing at a championship level. So,
you know, I think Mark Walter coming in is a
(36:38):
great move. I mean, the guy is a is a
multi billionaire. He's been the managing partner for the for
the Dodgers the last thirteen years, and the Dodgers have
been personified with excellence. I mean every year they're in
the playoffs, every year they're in the hunt to be
a World Series champion. So I hope he takes some
of that and be able to bring that to the Lakers.
So some good things could be up ahead in Lakerland.
Speaker 2 (37:02):
Yes, the only problem is with the difference with baseball
and basketball is a salary cap the doctor and the
deferred the deferred salary that you can't do in uh
in basketball.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
And you know one thing is is everyone they're misquoting.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
There's thing that doctor Buss paid sixty seven million dollars
for the Lakers. He did not he paid sixty seven
million for the Lakers, the Kings and the form. Yes,
and people seem they seem to forget that. So he
didn't pay sixteen seven million dollars for the Lakers. But
when you talk about that the second generation, and this
is what I always talk about, is when when when
a parent like doctor Buss buys it, it's him right,
(37:37):
and then he has his kids, his kids take it.
It's easier for you to work with your siblings that
it is your cousins because now you're going into that
third generation.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
So I can understand them selling it often.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
And when you talk about the Steinbrenners, you know the
brother I think that they're going to make that same
decision as well, where they're gonna have to sell it
off as well.
Speaker 5 (37:52):
I hope the Jones will do the fellow suit.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
Yes, yes, yet never talking about that because h with
uh Jerry Jones. He he's a competitor. And they're saying
that that would be the richest team in America if
they sold it. And I'll tell you this, this is
one thing that got me, Kamela, when you think about
the value of the team that doesn't even include an arena.
I didn't expect the Lakers to go for ten billion
with a B when the when the Celtics just went
(38:15):
for what six?
Speaker 13 (38:17):
Celtics went for six and I think the Dallas Mavericks
went about four and a half five billion as well.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Insane just shows you.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
You know, when I when I was the when I
did the play by play for the Ontario Clippers, I
just I would always say this, there's the NBA, then
there's the Lakers, the Celtics, the Knicks and teams like
that are just different.
Speaker 3 (38:35):
You know, what is it? What is it about that
brand that makes them so valuable?
Speaker 13 (38:40):
Well, I think for the Lakers, it really came down
to a lot of it was the winning, but a
lot of it was.
Speaker 9 (38:46):
The showmanship in which they did it.
Speaker 13 (38:48):
I think for the Lakers goes back to seventy nine
eighty with Magic Johnson and Showtime.
Speaker 9 (38:53):
You had Kareem who was still in his prime.
Speaker 13 (38:56):
You know, you saw the style that was actually implement
by Jack McKinney, fast paced, up and down style.
Speaker 9 (39:04):
And you know, everyone gives pat Riley the credit, and
rightfully so.
Speaker 13 (39:07):
Pat Riley won four championships as a head coach when
he was with the Lakers, but his the coaching style
and the system was actually started by Jack McKinney. So,
but it wasn't just so, Like I said, it wasn't
even that. It was what that brought to the table.
It became a Hollywood It became like a Hollywood set.
And that's when Doctor Bust wanted. He wanted to implement
(39:30):
elements of the USC games at the Coliseum because he
was he was a USC alum, right and he was
a huge USC fan. So we wanted to bring elements
of a college football game and a Hollywood style to
to really enrich the in game experience.
Speaker 9 (39:44):
That's really what it was. And then you taught you
you you topped that off with winning with.
Speaker 13 (39:49):
Star players, future Hall of famers like Kareem like Magic,
James Worthy, Michael Cooper, Bob McAdoo, uh, you know, Jamal Wilkes,
and many others. Byron Scott can't can't forget about be
sty David Norm Mixon for a handful of years, and
that's what it created. And then of course in the
nineties with Shaq and Kobe and then eventually Kobe and
Power Gasol. It was always about winning, but it was
(40:11):
also about doing it in style. And I think you
could say the same thing about the Celtics and the Knicks.
Speaker 9 (40:16):
And everything like that. Those teams haven't I mean, they.
Speaker 13 (40:19):
Haven't won a ton in the modern era, but there
is a rich history with all the same players. That's
what makes these organizations iconic, right, you know what I mean.
It's the winning, but it's also the players and the
style in which they played that that I did, that
the city was able to identify with.
Speaker 4 (40:36):
That's good stuff right there and again it right there,
Live with my Man, Chris Camelo coach being eternal Saturdays
every Saturday morning, Fox Sports Radio. Now, we got about
about four minutes left. Now I got to talk to
you about about our Dodgers.
Speaker 15 (40:49):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (40:50):
Again, we were able to grab three out of four
with the series with the hated Padres. Got in got
into a little little bit of a little bit of uh,
you know, a little bit fifticuffs. None really too crazy.
Speaker 3 (41:03):
Number one.
Speaker 4 (41:03):
I just love show hey taking the pitch on the
arm and saying, hey, I got this.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
It just really showed me a lot. But it real quick.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
Give us a little quick scenario whether whether the Dodgers
are and how you felt about the Padres series.
Speaker 13 (41:18):
Yeah, so the Dodgers they've won NINEU twelve overall, six
out of seven. They had a brutal twenty nine game
stretch where they were playing nothing but teams with winning
records starting in late May and then carrying over towards
this stretch of the month.
Speaker 9 (41:31):
And now they're playing the Nationals, so things have lightened up.
Speaker 13 (41:33):
They went seventeen and twelve in that stretch, and that
was without four key starting pitchers.
Speaker 9 (41:39):
That was without like three or four relievers, one of
whom they lost for the season in Evan Phillips.
Speaker 13 (41:44):
And they answered to Paul and everybody was circling this
ten game stretch, guys, the three game series against the
Padres at Petco Park in San Diego, the three game
series last weekend against the San Francisco Giants, and this
four game set with the Padres. Things got heated and
it actually started with the Padres. I hate to say, like,
well it was the Padres that started it, but they did.
Speaker 16 (42:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (42:04):
Dylan sees the starting pitcher Monday night, beans Andy Pajes,
and you know, then there's some smack talk about Pajz
looking back at cease and then you know Mike Shilt
yelling from the Mike Shilt, the Padres manager yelling from
the dugout who the f do you think you are?
And then Machado's saying, if we wanted to hit someone,
we would pick somebody better than Andy paj Has. So
(42:24):
you completely disrespected the Dodger rookie could end up being
a All Star. Right, So it goes from there and
here's the thing, and then of course they start hitting
Fernando Tatis Junior, and then the Padres start hitting Sho
Hey Otani and everything just kind of came to a head.
This was the result of things that had been boiling
(42:45):
for the last two weeks with a lot of smack
talk in the media, and finally Mike Shilt and Dave
Roberts had had enough and the guy I feel bad
for this thing culminated in the ninth inning on Thursday night.
Speaker 9 (42:57):
The guy I felt bad for was the Dodger rookie.
He was not trying jack little.
Speaker 13 (43:00):
He was trying to not hit Fernando Tatis Junior in
a five to nothing game, right, and then he was,
you know, unfortunately it was the shraw that broke the
camel back Robinson show, get into it, Robert Score is
the closure Hits show show.
Speaker 9 (43:13):
Hey, you're right, handled it like a pro. He's handled
it like a g you know, Teoscar Hernandez uh.
Speaker 13 (43:18):
You know, also kind of was talking to Mike Schilt
after everything settled down, uh and got him to calm down.
Speaker 9 (43:24):
So it just goes to show you that the Dodgers.
Speaker 13 (43:26):
They they know that they're above the podcast, not only
because of the reigning World Series champions, but it's like
these guys are shrining so hard to beat us, and
we don't need to lower ourselves to that level, not
to that extent.
Speaker 9 (43:38):
You know, they still got six more games. They don't
play again until August. We'll see what happens.
Speaker 17 (43:43):
But guys, I hate this bean war, you know, the
beaming war and all of that stuff that somebody could
get hurt and nobody wants to see hurt, and nobody
wants to see Otani or anyone else hurt for this nonsense.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Well that's a baseball that's all about, and that's just
a it's players regulate theirselves.
Speaker 5 (44:00):
Yep, yep.
Speaker 4 (44:01):
But hey, we got to get ready to break here
real quick. Camelo, thank you again so much as always,

This is Coach being a Turner on Fox Sports Radio
herd in southern California. Fox Sports saying thirteen fifty I
am your host, Coach b.
Speaker 4 (47:24):
And I Amy House Turner right here live in a
gray city of Riverside at the iHeartRadio Studios. And again
we do have some very very special guests right here
live on the Fox Sports Radio Celebrity Hotline.
Speaker 5 (47:37):
Call her.
Speaker 4 (47:37):
If you be kind enough to please introduce yourself to
our live radio audience.
Speaker 9 (47:41):
Please hi, audience, and.
Speaker 15 (47:45):
I'm the sister of the famous Chig Mostly and I'm
here with my father, three time Trainer of the Year,
mister Jack Mosley.
Speaker 16 (47:55):
Say Hi, Daddy, Hello, everybody.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
Good stuff right there? Now, that was special. That was
That's a treat right there, Samena. You didn't have to
bring your father and it that's this great stuff. And
I got a chance to be in his presence for
a quick second, when you guys have the fight announcement,
but just talk if you be kind enough. I don't
know if you want to talk about the legacy of
the family or if you want to have mister Moley
talk about it, but just talk about, uh, you know,
(48:20):
your brother Shane. Obviously we're going to have him at
David Busser today, but just talk about how specialist career is.
I know he's going to be inducted to the Hall
of Fame this real, real soon, but just kind of
talk about how special sugar Shane Moley is.
Speaker 15 (48:34):
Okay, Well, this legacy is amazing and you know, I
been here with my father. I believed we just started
all this with my brother. He started this at when
Shane was eight years old and Shane, you know, he
started boxing and Shane told him dead, I want to
be a world champion. And my father told him, well, Shane,
(48:56):
you could do whatever you want to do. You just
got to work hard, he said, and we'll do it.
And that's exactly what happened. I'm gonna let him elaborate a.
Speaker 9 (49:04):
Little bit later on that.
Speaker 15 (49:06):
But in terms of what this means to me, this
is an amazing feeling for me to have you know
my father be a world time trainer. My brother who
obviously is three time division champion and seven I'm sorry
seven three division, seven time world champion, which is awesome.
(49:31):
A lot of people they don't they get to that level,
but he got to that level because of his hard
work and determination. I used to watch my brother get
up every morning before school and run five miles with
the dog.
Speaker 9 (49:47):
He had a dog, hardlife and that was his routine.
Speaker 15 (49:50):
And then he would actually drive to la to meet
my dad because he worked out there at the time,
to go to the gyms out there. But this is
how dedicated they were was This is why I'm saying that.
So for anybody listening out there that are in sports,
it is very important. You know, if you want to
be the best, you gotta work hard, you gotta be dedicated, okay,
(50:10):
and on top of that, you know, gratitude, be grateful
because a lot of times, you know, uh, some of
our celebrities, they get there and then you know, they
change a little bit. So for those who know my brother,
he is very humble. He's up and close with his fans,
and I think that's what makes him so special. Now,
the legacy doesn't stop with my brother. It is continued
(50:34):
with my nephew, Shane Moseley Jr. Who is also a
fighter in get in the world tied a pretty so
guys hearing about that. But to have that, you know,
and our family is great. It's three generations of greatness.
And for me to be a part of that and
to help out on you know, the back end, is
(50:56):
just wonderful. We want to let people know that anybody
can do this, you know what I mean, this is
what we're built to do. So if we can inspire others,
you know, this is what we're here to do. On
top of that, I keep the legacy going.
Speaker 9 (51:13):
Through community service.
Speaker 15 (51:15):
We're having a boxing camp June the twenty eighth, So
that's my part in and through the multi Foundation of Love.
We do community service and that's my way of skinning
our legacy and keeping keeping it out there like that
so we can you know, be a positive role model
to our community.
Speaker 3 (51:36):
So absolutely, that's great.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
And you think about a group of a chain growing
up in Pomona and seeing some of the you know,
getting to some of the greatest heights, you know, they're possible.
Why is it so important for your family? To remain
grounded and still have a heart for service.
Speaker 15 (51:53):
Okay, because first of all, I love God, okay, and
I believe in my heart this is what we're perfect right, Okay.
We are purpose to be to help others. If we're
able to do that, then that's our purpose. Everybody in
this world should be helping, uh, being an influence in
a positive way. We have a lot of kids from
(52:17):
the inner city come to the camp and when they
see somebody like Shane who came up in Promona and
he made it, they can make it too. And then
that will continue with the younger generation coming up.
Speaker 9 (52:35):
You know.
Speaker 15 (52:36):
It's just like if you have a negative cycle, it's
going to continue, but if you have a positive cycle,
that's going to continue as well.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
That's good stuff right there. And again Fox Sports Radio
Love Coach b and Eterner. We're talking to miss Erena
Mosley and her father, mister Jack Moseley. Now, now I
have a question for your father. I want to talk
I want to talk to your father just a quick
second now, talk about this and he's your son. Has
you've been in the ring with some of the greats,
I mean with Floyd Oscar De la Joya, I mean
(53:03):
some of the big, the big market names.
Speaker 5 (53:06):
He doesn't run from anybody.
Speaker 4 (53:07):
But for you as a father, what was one of
your favorite experience, the favorite fight experiences that you got
a chance to have and share with your son.
Speaker 3 (53:16):
Oh, the first.
Speaker 16 (53:19):
Good experience I had when you called Oscar de la
Hoya back in two thousand. It was moved up to
wealth away the channels for the title and he won
the title, and that was great. It was a sell
out event. The Lagas won the championship that year. We
just had at a time after that that was one
of the great times.
Speaker 5 (53:38):
And that was just a really major fight I think.
Speaker 4 (53:40):
I mean, you know, I think people knew, you know,
like boxing enthusiasts like myself, coach b you know, we
knew about Shane. But I think that fight right there
is the one that really put him on the map
where people were like, Okay, he's a big deal right there.
I mean, you know, what is your feeling about you
know after that fight? You know, his legacy that got
built after that fight.
Speaker 16 (53:59):
I thought it was like a guys rocking into a
great Uh benefits later on with other fights and uh,
that was one of the greats. So I thought that
The second time he fought him was another great fight,
and then fights after that with all great fights.
Speaker 3 (54:15):
Was un concerned.
Speaker 16 (54:17):
He just did the thing, worked hard, they dedicated and prospered.
So uh and be ready to do it again.
Speaker 15 (54:27):
Just say some real quick. He is so right. But
one of my favorites too was the Margarita fight. It's
because he was when he beat and he got caught in.
Shane just beat that, but.
Speaker 9 (54:44):
He did, and he was an underdog.
Speaker 15 (54:46):
And I don't know why my brother's.
Speaker 9 (54:49):
A great fighter.
Speaker 15 (54:52):
Nobody we're talking about this. He right now, you can
look it up. Has the high I just knockout ratio
in the lightweight division history. Okay, that's.
Speaker 5 (55:07):
Yeah. I heard that.
Speaker 9 (55:09):
Shane is still a head.
Speaker 3 (55:10):
And you know, one thing I want to ask is
what your dad is. You know, I'm a father.
Speaker 2 (55:14):
I have three kids, two boys, and you know, my
I coached my h They call me coach because I
coached my boys in football.
Speaker 3 (55:20):
But you know, what was it like for you as
a dad when.
Speaker 2 (55:23):
Your son comes to you at eight years old and says,
I want to be a world champion. You know, my
kids said they want to be astronauts and all that
type of stuff. But for you to go through all
their words and know that you guys put it in.
And then did you ever have a moment, say when
you're walking out for that world champion fight and you
said we did it?
Speaker 3 (55:39):
I mean, did you ever have that moment?
Speaker 16 (55:41):
We did it. That's exactly right. We did it.
Speaker 13 (55:45):
He said it, and he mean it.
Speaker 16 (55:46):
He never changed and he's still doing it.
Speaker 3 (55:49):
He loved.
Speaker 16 (55:49):
He told me I'm gonna I'm gonna be a world champion.
Speaker 3 (55:52):
And I said, well, yeah, we're going to be a
world champion. You just got to work hard.
Speaker 16 (55:55):
You got to have a lot of dedication and we
got to stick to it, and you can't quit and
you can't have no disser distractions. And he said, I'm
gonna be a world champion, So I've got.
Speaker 3 (56:03):
To do all those things right now. Well, you're better
than me because I've been somewhere crying in the corner
right my kid was with the world chap with the belt.
Speaker 5 (56:10):
With the belt.
Speaker 4 (56:12):
Now, real quick, we got one more final question. Again,
We're gonna again. We're so happy to be with you guys,
and again, thank you guys for taking out the time
to talk to us today live on Fox Sports. Radio,
I got I want to ask you, Serena as well
as your father, talk about now because now, uh, Serena,
your your nephew, and then mister Moseley, your grandson is
now fighting and again he's a great kid. Again, he's
(56:35):
an inspired fighter. Got a chance to talk to him,
a really fierce competitor similar to his father. Talk about
how special it is watching him mature and him grow
in the fighting industry.
Speaker 16 (56:46):
Well, actually I changed and also I trained all my grandsons,
but he's the one to stay with it. So he's
doing a great job study learning now and he's fired
with Canelo alone, he's fired with the Charlote brothers out,
he'spired with all the great champions right today, he just
need his break today.
Speaker 5 (57:01):
Yeah, right, that's good, that's good. Well again we're we're really.
Speaker 15 (57:06):
Said, he needs his break today. Right the boxing world
it's changed a little bit, you know what I mean,
So it's different, but he's going to get his break
and then that will once again you know, like I said, uh,
stress in the legacy and inspire others to do the
same with their sons.
Speaker 2 (57:25):
Well, I hope, I hope it works out, but it's
you know, I was telling this to turn off the airs.
It's unfair because Shane looks that way looking dude, he
can knock you out, you girl, I mean.
Speaker 3 (57:34):
More like me.
Speaker 4 (57:36):
Just wren't wrong about to say he makes it hard
for his brother, for the other dues like me, you know.
But again, we thank you guys so much. We appreciate again,
Serena has been a joy working with you, mister Mosley. Again,
your legacy has intact. You've done a wonderful job. You're
a great gentleman. I've seen you and your your your son,
your grandson mingle with the fans and it's just it's
really impressive to see people with who have been, who
(57:59):
have been in those high heights, still find themselves and
still humble and still really communicate with the fans, and
that's really communicated.
Speaker 5 (58:06):
To the public as well. So again we thank you so.
Speaker 3 (58:09):
The Hall of Fame.
Speaker 4 (58:11):
Yes, yes, yes, we're really excited about that. Yes, I've
been talking to miss Areena. We're our goal is to
get down there. So Serena will be seeing you shortly,
mister mother will be seeing you shortly as well. Again,
thank you guys for calling. Okay, thanks, all right, there
it is right there, Fox Sports Radio and thirteen to fifty.
Speaker 5 (58:28):
Coach.
Speaker 4 (58:28):
But it's gonna be great. We're really excited about it.
Please come on down there and join us again. We're
gonna be over at Dave and Busters. It's going to
be a great situation again. The event starts at twelve.
We're rocking and rolling.
Speaker 5 (58:38):
We gotta get out of there, Coach beginning final thoughts.
Speaker 3 (58:40):
No, no, I'm good.
Speaker 5 (58:41):
Good to go, cool and good stuff right that.
Speaker 4 (58:42):
Thanks everybody for calling my man Mellow and the Moseley
family again. You are listening to Coach Being Eternal.
