Speaker 3 (00:26):
I am your host, Coach B.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
I am your host eternal, right here live in a
great city of Riverside at the iHeartRadio Studios. Here on
a wonderful Saturday morning. We have a jam pack show
for you guys. A lot of stuff happening.

Speaker 3 (00:41):

Speaker 2 (00:41):
How you feeling that I'm feeling good man, I know
we have a jam packed show.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
Man.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I won't go into too much detail, but as we've known,
we've discussed, this will be Coach before for at least
for a little while. Coach B's last appearance here at
thirteen to fifty. You just got some opportunities that came up.
But I will be watching from afar, man, and I
tell you this, twelve years has gone so fast.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Asked telling it's gonna take a little bit of a
drink of my lemon tea. But yeah, I know, it's
been a wonderful, wonderful ride. And obviously I appreciate all
your contributions, all the contributions from the Errington family. And again, man,
like you said, I know we'll be you know, we'll
be doing some stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
But again I always appreciate all your contributions.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yes, yes I'll still be around. You'll see me at
the All Star Games. But yes, we're excited, man, but
you know this is not a somber moment. Everything is good.
We're still I use Sportsnet. I'll be like I said,
I U sports net coach, being eternal. I'm not sure
what the show is going to become, but I'll tell
you I'll be watching from afar and you know I am.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I will always be a fan. You know. It's it's
one of those.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Crazy ideas I had what thirteen years ago to a
thirteen years ago, Hey, let's create this sports entity. There's
just an idea I dreamed up in my room at
the time because I love sports, wanted to be a
part of part of sports. And I'm just I am
excited with how far it's come you know ten you
were actually ten years here on AM thirteen fifty, which
is insane. We started August of twenty fifteen here, which

(02:03):
is insane, two years before at this smaller station.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
But yeah, it's insane. Man.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's been a ride, man, But I know you wanted
to get into this the top ten. I'll tell you,
some things are going on. I was shocked when we
get to the number one, but you know that's just me.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Yeah, yeah, no doubt about it.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
No, there is a lot of stuff going on, but no,
I definitely I'm glad we took time out at the
top of the show to make sure that we got
a chance to talk about that kind of we kind
of you know, we kind of touched on it last week.
But again we obviously wish wish you nothing but the
best any new ventures.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
But yeah, like you said, man, the week.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Week one, Man Week one took place last night Thursday,
or games on Thursday.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
There are also games on Friday. Last night, I.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Got a chance to see a little bit of what
was going on with Santiago. I got a chance to
see what was going on with JW. North and Polly.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
JW. North.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Boy, we got to you know, I even talked to
coach me, Coach Brown, so I can say this on air.
He told me, he said, man, we got a lot
of work to do. So if y'all need a you know,
if y'all need like an interim coach, come out there,
you know, ringing my line.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
You know, I'm not that expensive.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Maybe I'll come out there and try to help them
out or something like that, you know, because my rams,
my Ramona Rams, we're doing good out here. But I
know John W. North needed a little help, so I'm
willing to come out.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
The Rams beat them last week, right was that was
that last week? I think it was a week or
so ago. I'll take it up. I'll see you check
that fact check that for me.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Man.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
I know, I know we're doing I know we're doing well,
we being the Ramona Rams. But yeah, but like you said,
Coach B, we got a we got a stack show.
I know we need to jump right into it. So
again we're talking about last week.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
They beat them on the eight twenty one, the White birthday. Yes,
there it goes, Okay, there it is right there.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Big shout out to coach Mashinsky and the Ramona Rams
doing big things over there, appreciate all that good stuff
that they're doing. But like you said, Coach B, we're
gonna get into these rankings last week. Uh, folks were
really the preseason rankings. Folks said Folk should gt fired.
I mean, there was just it was. It was an
uproar coach be Ellen. Empire was on fire. But again

(04:06):
it was just a preseason and then we jumped into
Week zero and we got a chance to see what
these teams were really made of.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
So we did the rankings last week.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Those teams that were in the Week zero top ten
competed Thursday and last night. So Coach B, let's go
ahead without further ado, let's go ahead and jump right
into it. The top ten Week one Varsity tackle football scores.
Coach B, go ahead, set it off with number ten.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Number ten, you have none other than Damien. They're now
two and oh and everyone always talks about Damien. Why
they ended because all they do is win. So they
beat Jay Serrah the Big Game, and that's a big
one for Damien. It shows you that maybe they are
ready to step up into the big leagues because they're
always right at the cusp. And then coming in at
number nine to two and zero at Awanda, Eagles beat

(04:51):
Citrus Valley a score. A friend of the show, coach
Brewick beat them thirty five thirteen. Speaking of that, the
funny thing is, I know coach Brewoks said the years
ago he left Rev to go to Citrus Valley because
of facilities.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Now Rev hasn't stand.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
I got a size stadium, really nice stadium, man, And
so you never know he might wait make his way
back because I know Citra Valley, you know, I know.
The thought was they're supposed to be doing some really
good things and they haven't really got.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
It rolling as a program.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Right, but again, best of luck to those those kids
with rest Citris Valley coming there at number eight.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
You had Visita Marietta.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Coach b had A really had a tough game in
the backyard right there, took on a really.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Tough Marietta Mesa team.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
And right now this Marietta coming in at number eight
and they are currently two and zero and knocked off
Marietta Mesa thirty five seventeen and then a real tough
team and coach being this fan base gave us all
we can handle. They said, look look at us. We're
right over there on the Hill. But we're in Chino,
so big shout out to Chino Hills two and old.
Right now, coach be doing some wonderful things. And they

(05:54):
knocked off El Camino last night with a score of
thirty five to three. Who do you have at number six?

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Number six?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
You got Oak Hills. I mean, all that team does
is win. They that a big game for them to
go out and play Bishop of Mott. And we've said
this for years. They've got to schedule up. They've got
to schedule up if they want to be considered one
of the big boys, and they are doing it to
play Bishop of Mott.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
I believe Bishop is a Trinity League team.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
I know they're not one of the upper echelon when
you think about that, that would be under Bosco and
modern day. But nonetheless, I believe they are a Trinity
League team. I'll fact check that as well. Yes, and
then they're two and oh they won thirty eight ten
and then Bowmont Bomones Roland they beat Cathedral fifty two
to thirty one. They're two and oh.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Yeah, and again Boumont, another program that said get your
act together. They said coachtiny and again coach we talked
about this during that week, we said, hey, we don't
want no problem with coach Steiny. Coach Stiney's still out
there doing the pull up, I mean, doing the dips
with the forty five weights, forty five weight attached to
his waist. I mean the grown man business out there.

(06:59):
But big shout out of Beaumont. They really really look good.
Got really got a senior quarterback. I don't want to
I think it's last name is Dough. I don't want
to mess this last name up. But the kid is special,
really really a great kid out there. So and that's
why I think that's coming. At number five. Number four
you had Chaparral. Chaparral actually had to buy. They were
one of the ten teams that had to buy this week.

(07:21):
So we'll see what they got going on next week.
And then these next three teams, all of them unfortunately
took losses, but when you see who the opponents were,
it kind of makes a little bit of sense. Number three,
you had the Cougars of Rancho Cucamonga right now currently
at number three, all in two but lost a really
really tough game, a game that they really should have

(07:42):
won twenty four, twenty seven and they lost to Orange Lutheran.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Who do you have at one and two?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
And in fact check Bishop of Mott is in the
Mission League, so they are not a you always think
if there was a Trinity League team, because you know,
one of the Catholic schools. But coming in in number
two you have myriad, a myriad of valley one in
one they took a loss to Surviy Survey. It's one
of those Trinity we keep talking about Trinity Leagues. Oh, Lou,

(08:08):
I know it's Trainity. Yes, Survey is Trinity. So and
and you know the number one team played the Trinity
League team as well.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
And it's good to see these teams out in the
I e. Stepping up.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Well, I guess, mariad the valley is the Tamacca Valley.
And then you had Centennials one and one. They took
a loss at twenty seven to thirty three against Santa Margarita.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
I believe that's where Carson Palmer's at.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Ah okay, he's coaching there. Yes, oh wow, okay, well yeah,
let me tell you something. They're a legit team. I
saw that last play. It was like a goal line play.
If I'm not mistaken, it was the goal line play
either with a goal ahead touchdown or I'm not sure
if it was the go ahead play for overtime. But nonetheless,
it was a very very competitive game. And to your point,
a big shout out to coach Loga and that whole

(08:50):
Centennial You know that whole Centennial coaching staff over there,
top to bottom. They do a great job with scheduling.
Always schedule, always have a tough schedule. But I want
to let me tell you something, Rancho Cuckamonga, that baseline
this year is gonna be tough. A lot of people
will wondering, like you said, wonder why Damon's in there,
wondering why Ediwanda is in there. You just saw that

(09:11):
right there, Ediwanda Knox off Sitters Valley, Damian Knox off
Jace Era. You know Ranchall Cucamonga, very very competitive game
with both Orange Lutheran and Marietta Valley. So you can
see that these teams are no joke. But again, right
right there, that's the Fox Sports Radio AM thirteen fifty
top ten. You can always find that information at I
E Sports Net. I E Sports Net is where you

(09:31):
can find all the updated information. Real quick listens, go ahead,
just run through our top ten again. Now these records,
I just kind of spoke to one of these teams
that are here in studio.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
I got to make sure I shout them out.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Big shout out to Chino Girls Flag Football that is
in the house now, I said, Chino, not Chino Hills. Chino,
the actual Chino. Chino's in the house. So big shot
out to Chino Hill. They are in the house flag
football team. But again, Coach b let's go ahead, run
is down. It's gonna be the Girls Flag Football ellen
Empot Girls Flag Football Top ten right here by Fox
Sports Radio Am thirteen fifty. I will go ahead and

(10:05):
I'll start with number ten. You had Shadow Hills coming
in at number ten, and then you at eight and two,
and then you have Patriot Patrios. Plants are really good
flag football right now and those young ladies are really
after it. Currently have an undefeated record of five and zero.
Coach beat who do you have at eight and seven?

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Number at number eight?

Speaker 2 (10:23):
You have him at this five and one, and then
Cahona's seven and one.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
Good stuff right there, and then coming in at number six.
As we mentioned, they are in the house. We want
to make sure you fix your radio, don't go anywhere
because we want to make sure we talk to these
young ladies. Really doing great. Coach, hit me up and say, hey, man,
watch out for these young ladies. They're doing great. Really
had a competitive game against Beaumont. But these young ladies
are a force to be record with. They're talking about
Chino and they are right now at number six with

(10:48):
a great record of six and two. And then you
have upland upland right now again another program to said, hey,
make sure you reach out to us because we are
doing some great things. So upland you are on our radar.
Upland at number five currently at nine to one. Who
you got at four and three?

Speaker 3 (11:04):
At number four?

Speaker 2 (11:05):
You have a team, but I tell you all they
do in that city is produced winners. One town one
team and that is Boumont there eleven and one. And
then you have Redlands East Valley. We were just talking
about them and they're ten and oh.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
That's good stuff right there, coach, and we've been talking
about that man, like, uh, you know, let me tell
you some Boma. That's crazy when you have both programs
that are doing really really good like that they have
the football program with coach Steiny and they also have
the girls program.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
It's doing well as well.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Always good to see coming in at number two Western Christian.
Big shout out to.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
My good us.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
His name is coach Enriquez. Excuse me, pardon me about that.
A really good coach. He does a fantastic job over
there at Western Christian. We had him in the studio
for our media day experience and then coming in at
number one, none other than Lynfield Christian had them in
studio last week. These young ladies are playing some dynamic
are right now. So it's good to see that, Coach B.

(12:03):
One other thing, you know, and again that excuse me,
I got to make sure I close appropriately. Is that
concludes our girls flag football top ten rankings. And again
you can always see those top ten rankings. They come
out on Wednesday. You can always check those rankings out
on I E. Sports Net I E. Sports Net as well.
You can find all that updated information. Now, Coach B,
I don't know, you know, this shook the world, at

(12:24):
least the sports world earlier than the week. You know,
As you know, I made my homage over to the
Dallas football camp, got out there. Everybody wanted to know
what was going on with the Dallas Football Cowboys during
that time when I was out there, this is an
aeronox SNAr all the fans.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
You know.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
This is when the first the news broke about Michaeh. Parsons.
Folks wanted to get signed. They were like, sign Michael Parsons. Well,
come to find out, Jerry had other plans. When I
first heard the news, I took I was I was
beside myself, what are we doing trading the way Micah Parsons?

Speaker 5 (13:06):
It was?

Speaker 3 (13:06):
It was sick. It was six six sixty six.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
However, once I got the news it was Kenny Clark,
Sam Bradino, Zones, Kenny Clark. There was in the trade,
and we also got two draft picks. I felt good
about it. Coach Bono, if you have thoughts, if you
saw it, what are your thoughts about it?

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Man? Well, you know, it reminds me of that that
I'm sure you've seen it on Netflix where they had
that great documentary on the Cowboys, and this is exactly
the way people felt when they got rid of Herscha Walker.
So when you look at it, I don't know if
you want to pay a defensive lineman that much money.
I mean, because they said, he's the highest paid nine
quarterback ever. I know he's a great player, but when

(13:45):
you get tied, and you know, I love Kobe Bean Bryant,
love it, but this is what happened when they gave
him that contract and that the Lakers couldn't sign anybody else,
and Jerry is the one. You think, he's got more
money than anyone in the league that could afford more.
He's got that hard salary cap, and now he couldn't
even go out and spend if he wanted to.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
Yeah, no, it was, you know, and Jerry was he said,
he said, hey, man, where I stopped. They wanted to
keep going like that was their beginning number. They wanted
to kind of keep going from there. Happy for Mica
that he got his money, but to your point, I
like the fact that we, uh, we have more opportunities available.
So again it's it was devastating, but I'm really really happy.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
You see.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
And again, Kenny Clark, somebody that you and I we
got a chance to see up close, done a couple
of different camps with him.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
A great, great kid out of Carter High.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
School, and he should be getting a field named after
him real real soon as well.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Young Kenny Clark. We saw him. That was one of our.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
First times covering college football over at cal State San Bernadino,
and we were trying to look for us another kid,
but we did. We totally miss We're looking for Kenny
Clark was right there in front of him. So that
was funny right there. But again that's news right there
at Fox Sports Radio. We're gonna take a break. We
when we come back, we have very special guests. These
folks have been rolling with us for quite some time.

(15:02):
They just do a wonderful job. We're gonna have the
good folks from Neutral Shop, Eastville.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
And Corona, Mark and Sabrina, the power couple. They just
do a wonderful job. Can't wait to talk to him.
Coach Be.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
This is Coach being Eternal on Fox Sports Radio Hurt
in Southern California. Fox Sports are in thirteen fifty. I
am your host, Coach B and.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
I am your host Eternal right here live in a
great city of Riverside at the iHeartRadio Studios. Like I mentioned,
we do have a very very we are special guest
here in studio.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
But this lady has been doing some wonderful work.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Please do us the courtesy of introducing yourself and your husband,
who is here in studio as well.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Please.

Speaker 8 (16:38):
My name is Sabrina and Enriquez and my husband is
Mark and Riquez, and we only need to shop in Eastville,
Marco and Corona.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
You guys, I mean, at all the sporting events, you
guys are always there serving with a smile. Talk to
us about it. I mean, you and your husband have
been You guys have been doing this for quite some
time now. But what inspired you to get into this industry,
into this business.

Speaker 8 (17:01):
Well, we've always been part of well we've been with
nutri Shop for twenty one years now this year, and
we really enjoy fitness and health. I was brought up
in that with my dad into bodybuilding.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
He grew up watching Arnold.

Speaker 8 (17:15):
Schwartney or so it was always in our household. And
so as I grew up, I was in you know,
I played sports and worked out all the time. And
when I met Mark, we you know, we is something
that we bonded over, you know. So we've always taken
supplements and we knew the importance of supplementation.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
So yes, we've.

Speaker 8 (17:34):
Made a living out of it for the last twenty
one years.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
You guys are doing a fantastic job over there as well.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Great stuff over there. And again real quick for folks
to know, tell them what those stores are. Just kind
of kind of give him a little rough idea.

Speaker 8 (17:46):
So Eastville is off the fifteenth Forreea in Linemonit right
next to the movie theater. Norco is off a Hamner
kind of a sandwich between the Eastville and our Corona location.
Corona is off of California Street and Ontario Avenue across
the Street from samscub Home depot.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Yes, yes, yes, fantastic good stuff.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
Now football season coming out with football season, here is
here a president. You see the young ladies out there
in the studio. The young lady out in the studio.
We have the flag football, you have boys football and
makes me put a microphone up real quick.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
But you right now it's in full swing.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
What are some of the things that kids can do,
because I know a lot of time kids just go
right to like.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
A monster energy dream myself included.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
But what are some things that they can do that
are are available at your shop that they can do
to kind of get themselves in condition.

Speaker 8 (18:34):
Hydrate you know, that's probably the number one thing. It
actually will help keep them from filling the heat as
much if they stay hydrated. So we carry salt Head
by XP two. It's just basically seventy two ionic trace
minerals actually pull water into your muscles. It keeps you
from being fatigued, helps you from cramping, helps you with focus.

(18:55):
And then brand sin and menoacids is another one that
you can do. It's all natural. My kids rub drinking
brand chaining meino acids, so it helps with the muscle
recovery so you don't fatigue us.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Quick fantastic and you say you did the weightlifting.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
So let's hear the story. I don't know if we've
ever heard this. How did you and your husband meet?

Speaker 9 (19:10):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (19:10):
That's where there we go. A million dollar question? Marks
over there left And when you saw.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Him, he was like, I like him.

Speaker 8 (19:18):
I it's so funny because I would see him all
over town. I was a bartender and so I worked
at a couple of different bars and he would come in.
But I first saw him when I was in high school.
I worked at Ralph's in the city of Chino and
he lived right there, so he would come in all
the time. So finally one day you.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Give Max g.

Speaker 8 (19:39):
One day I actually said to him, I'm like, I
feel like I see you everywhere I work. And you know,
he hung out with me at the Barrows bartending at
and he left me his number.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
And hasn't been has left beside since.

Speaker 8 (19:53):
Yeah, I called him and that's just been, you know,
over twenty years.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
And now when you called, would you ever tell him
I look different when I'm I'm not working.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
That's funny. So tell me a little bit about the shop.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
How did you guys, go from you were a fitness enthusiast,
you're an athlete. How do you go from that to
owning the nutrient shop. I think we first met you
you only had one. Now you guys are up to three.

Speaker 10 (20:15):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (20:16):
So we used to shop at a supplement store in
Chino Hills. We both did, and without us even knowing
each other. And at the time when we started dating,
we weren't very happy with.

Speaker 11 (20:27):
Our day jobs.

Speaker 8 (20:28):
So we decided to ask, you know, what it took
to own a supplements store. And the guy who was
running that shop in Chino Hills, he said he was
starting his own franchise. To give him a couple of weeks,
come back and he'll give us more information. And it
was a gamble. We were in escrow to buy a
house at the time, and we ended up pulling out
a vescrow using that money and put it in towards
nutrire shop.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Wow, I sometimes you got to bet on yourself. So, yeah,

wonderful job see her all over the place. Mark, please
pull that microphone up, introduce you stuff to our live

Speaker 3 (21:31):
And I know Brian has has a question for as well.

Speaker 12 (21:34):
What's up, guys, My name is Mark Enriquez with Neutral
Shop in Norco, Eastville and Corona.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Fantastic, this stuff.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Excellent And then tell me a little bit. So what
what your you come in here? Look like you just
got out of the weight room time.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Hey man, look look we pulled my shirt down. Young
What is your age? All right? So I'm I'm a
little bit older than you.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
I kid, I went to top Golf the other day
and tweak my back by just.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
How do you still do it?

Speaker 13 (22:01):
Man?

Speaker 12 (22:02):
A lot of recovery, a lot of rest you, I mean,
eating foods that will help limit my inflammation. But yeah,
my back, My back bothers me too sometimes. So it's
just it's just making making good choices. Making good choices.
They say that that's probably it.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Excellent.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
How's everything going with the shop. But you guys are
up to three now, you guys are really rolling this thing.

Speaker 12 (22:19):
Yeah, we're we're Yeah, we're busy. We're definitely busy. Yeah,
we have the three shops and everything's going good. You know,
we're super blessed. Couldn't be happier. Things are going, things
are going great.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
Yeah, good stuff right now, now, Mark, good thing about
you man, You had the experience and obviously you know
your wife was out there assisting as well.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
And you had your son out there.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
But you are a part of our fourth annual eighth
grade All Star football game.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Yes, talk about again.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
We have to talk about that experience because you really
brought the juice out there and then I mean I didn't.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
I mean, let me tell you something.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
I mean, we've had kids come out, but even Coach
be and I we were like, that's the first time
we've had kids of that magnitude really with that kind
of stretch in terms of really casting out a wide net.
Talk about that experience and how excited you are going forward.

Speaker 12 (23:01):
You know that that for me, Like, I'm so grateful
to you guys for that. Like it was, it was.
It was fun because, like like I said when I
when I when you tasked me with this and said, hey,
you know, Riverside hasn't won in a while and we
want you to represent this, I'm like, well, I'm not
gonna I'm not gonna not win.

Speaker 10 (23:17):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
So, like you know, and I wanted to.

Speaker 12 (23:19):
Get out there, and I wanted to to get cast
a white net.

Speaker 9 (23:21):
I didn't want it to be a Corona east Vale League.
I went out.

Speaker 12 (23:24):
I went Marietta Semecula and and this year too, as
I'm prepping for it, I'm doing the same thing, you know.
I'm I'm hoping to go to the there's a there's
a game on Monday between like the Ducks and another
and I think it's the OC Buckeyes.

Speaker 9 (23:36):
I'm gonna go over there and.

Speaker 12 (23:37):
Watch, and just I want to make sure that it's fair.
I want to give kids something to look forward to. Yeah,
because you know at this at this at this age,
it's already competitive. These kids are alread getting loked at
a different pas And if we can help any of them,
and I can see that they're good kids, they're good.

Speaker 9 (23:49):
Teammates, and I want to do it.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Yeah, good stuff man, And and that's encouraging. Man.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
You know, when we've done the game before, I don't
think that we've got enough penetration into Riverside, But I
think now it's in. Is that the passion that you
have because they called me coach because I ran my
own youth program, But it's different.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
Now kids are playing all over their travel teams. But
that's why I stepped out outside. You know, I just
wanted to.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Do the city team. But now it's different. What do
you get that passion from to be so involved with
youth sports?

Speaker 12 (24:16):
You know, it's it's so I love football first and foremost.

Speaker 9 (24:20):
I'm a father. I think getting into coaching.

Speaker 12 (24:23):
You you you get in there to really make a difference.
And I think for me, it's just being able to
just find something positive for kids to do. You know,
you have these kids, you want them to take ownership
of something. You want them to have something to look
forward to. I don't know what these kids, what their
home life is, I don't know what they go through
on a daily basis. If I can be a blessing

(24:45):
to them, and I can, I can. I can help
them out and give them something to look forward to,
give them something to work forward to you like you
know you have to. These kids could end up in
calling some day. I could be sitting there on the
couch on Sunday watching something. Yeah, I coached him, you know,
it's just fun. Like I just think it's coaching for
me as a calling, and I love doing it. I mean,
if you look at what we do at Neutral Shop,
I'm coaching people and it's a passion for us because

(25:07):
I can help these people. I can give them off
the blood pressure as I can. I can get them
ready for like their wedding or something, you know what.
But and this with with the kids though, it's even
it's even bigger, you know, like it's like it's just
it's just like it's I have I can make a
difference for them for the rest of their life.

Speaker 9 (25:20):
And that's what that's that's that's fun for me.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Good stuff right there. And again Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
We're right here with Mark and Sabrina, owners of three
local nutri shops. They're doing a fantastic job. We're gonna
make sure we posted that way you guys can go
out there and buy some stuff. Now, Mark, last time
I saw you last year, you say, hey, man, I'm
an hook you up with some stuff. I mean you
gave me three things, man, I mean one was like
for the mind. One was like I was like, whoa,
he said, And I take this before my meetings and stuff.

(25:44):
I mean, you guys have an assortment of just great
stuff over there, but it's talk about the shop and
it's some of the great products.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
I mean, you have to kind of get into detail.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
I didn't go to your website, but talk about some
of those great products you guys have over watch the shops.

Speaker 12 (25:56):
You know, Like what what it is with these products
is we're a franchise. But I wouldn't give anybody something
that I wouldn't take myself. And what I like is
that we have the embody that holds us accountable as owners. Right,
So we get these people on this embody, it tells
us their body paw, percentage, their calories. If we don't
give them something that works. We look like liars. It's
going to show, you know. So like these products here

(26:16):
are they're they're tried and tested, their their ingredients are
dosed correctly. They come from good sources like I like
it was like my wife was talking about talking about
the aul head. That stuff is awesome, like and I
see the difference in as a coach, like the kids
they're not cramping and they're they're able to stay more
level headed during the game.

Speaker 9 (26:32):
And you have like the proteins that we take.

Speaker 12 (26:33):
We make sure that these proteins aren't just like what
you would find a costco or something like that. These
proteins have longer acting proteins.

Speaker 9 (26:39):
They're feeding them. It's like a t macro, you know.
And that's that That's the.

Speaker 12 (26:42):
Thing is when you come in, we're going to give
you products that suit you, not just something that you
can take.

Speaker 9 (26:47):
We want it.

Speaker 12 (26:47):
We're not the Internet, so we got to you're not
clicking on us, so we got to make sure that
you come back.

Speaker 9 (26:50):
So we got to make sure that we're giving you
something that works, that's good.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
Stuff right there. Man, Well again, thank you guys so much.
You guys are just doing a wonderful job. It came
in real quick. Tell me about this product you brought
me quick. I mean, this is something you guys have
over at the shop. But just talk about that. I mean,
I'm salid, I'm ready to go to La Fitness right now.
But go ahead, tell me about that product and some
of the benefits of that product right there.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
Please.

Speaker 12 (27:10):
So the reason I like so I like murk right.
That's it's gonna give you three hundred and fifty milligrams
a caffeine. So it is a higher caffeinated product. But
it has an ingredient called Vita coline which actually helps
actually used but our stored fat and our organs to
actually help with our focus. So this product is going
to have. It helps with hydration, it helps the focus.
It gives you a really good pump. This is the
product that I love to take. I'll wake up really

(27:30):
early in the morning, take this thirty minutes before I'm
supposed to get up instead of snoozing, I drink it,
go back to sleep, and then I'm up and I'm
ready to go.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
Man, good stuff right there. Well, again, thank you guys
so much for coming in. Appreciate that again. We're going
to make sure we put this on Fox fort I'm
put on the internet. Let the kids know you guys
are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the good work,
and real quick, if folks want to reach out to you,

out of our house. We just bought a radio station

inspired me. Sometimes you got to bet on yourself, man.
And and I know.

Speaker 3 (28:30):

motivational speaker.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
That's good stuff, A little bit of everything, right, I
like that good stuff right there?

Speaker 3 (32:20):
Now real quick. You just got a chance. I mean
you've been traveling.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
I mean, if anybody gets a chance to have access
to your Instagram, you are all over the place.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
I said, your family, how many? How many siblings do
you have?

Speaker 13 (32:29):
Three older sisters?

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Oh okay, it looks like it's a lot of y'all.

Speaker 13 (32:31):
For some reason, I have four honeycombs, so three nieces
and one nephew.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
Okay, there it is right there. Okay, there it is
right there. And y'all all look alike.

Speaker 13 (32:39):
I mean, my gosh, copy paste.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
I was talking like, wait, which one is? But again,
you're doing some great things real quests. Want to kind
of do some background on you, because before folks don't
know you spend a year over at Hillcrest, but after
all the you know, planning internationally, you come back home
and you get kind of thrust into this role over
at Hillcrest. Kind of bring our audience up to speed
about your experience over Hillcrest and obviously you could be

(33:01):
back there this year, I imagine as well.

Speaker 13 (33:03):
Correct, So got to Hillcrest, they were seven and twenty
and then I got them and we went twenty twenty
seven and seven. Once CIF had a Player of the year,
I was coach of the year, and now we are
looking to run it back and we're gearing up for that.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
That's good stuff right there, now, Coach, I know you
have a now talk to me a little bit about
I know we talked about this before, but now.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
That you're starting to see the fruit severe labor, you're
getting ready for a new year. I'm pretty sure you
guys have your schedule out. What are you looking for
to build upon what you had last year? Now you
have the foundation, you have returners and they know what
they know what you're like.

Speaker 13 (33:37):
Yeah, so I'm actually looking so last year I put
aside some of our values for winning, and this year
I will not be doing that. We will be disciplined,
we will have great attitudes, we will play as hard
as we can and never give up. I'm looking to
instill these young ladies to be women right and go
through the challenges of life and being able to overcome
that no matter what.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
Right. Who are some of the players. You're excited they're
going to come back with you.

Speaker 13 (33:59):
We have the player of the year, Zoe bowl Waer,
Raylean valadez All. My seniors are amazing, Nyla Cadence Amaya.
And then we had a six footer walk in the gym.
Oh wow, she thought it was flight football practice. She
tried to leave my sisters like, oh no, no, no, you
gotta stay now.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (34:13):
So I'm excited. I'm hoping, hoping that we can we
can develop.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Did you know she was on campus or did you
know we had no idea? Wow? Six young lady.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Wow, she's going to be at least a Leslie out there.

Speaker 13 (34:24):
And we have two other ones that came from king
and from Norco, Maya and Gianna. So we got we
got a pretty good squad coming up, We got Ryan,
We had a whole bunch of returners, so it's gonna
be another great season.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
How does that make you feel as a coach? Now
kids are coming to you because they want to play
for you.

Speaker 13 (34:38):
Yeah, it feels amazing. But of course with new season,
new levels, new devils. So we got people talking about
each other and we got parents talking about kids. You know,
it's just all goodness.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
But I'm gonna realize that first when I heard that
new levels, new devil, that's good.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Yeah, not a blue devil.

Speaker 4 (34:52):
Now you're getting ready. We we've been doing some promotion
for the camp. Camps come up this time next weekend.
Really exciting stuff we did. We shot, we shot some video.
You were just great with those boys. Talk about that.
You know, we got a chance to kind of get
some boys in there. But talk about your excitement. We

(35:12):
got a chance to do some some production the other week.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Talk about that.

Speaker 13 (35:15):
Play super super excited. So this camp is special because
one it's in my hometown in the Ie and I
am bringing infinite skills down. He's from o c LA
area and he's the best. So you got me the
best here him the best out there. Every going team
up and we're going to give these kids a bag
and give them confidence. And it's a still like usually
to train with me, it's one hundred and twenty five

(35:36):
for that hour, for two days, seventy five dollars eight hours.
It's like everybody should be in the building, no question.

Speaker 4 (35:43):
And that's what we're letting folks know. Hey, come on now,
it's going to be over at pick up USA. Pick
Up USA. It's kind of like right, and that's what
in between. It's in Stammer de Dino, but it's right
off the ten freeway. It's gonna it's a really really
nice facility, clean, they keep it tight. But let's talk
about some of the stuff that the kids maybe you know,
when they come there and they get ready, some of
the stuff that they may encounter when they get a
chance to come out there and coach with I mean

(36:04):
be coached by yourself and your partner.

Speaker 13 (36:05):
Yeah, so certainly the fundamentals, certainly, if the play breaks down,
you will leave with the bag as he chopping your
defenders down.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
I mean you do that all the time.

Speaker 13 (36:15):
Crazy at that. He changed me too, So the kids
they'll leave with their head too. A lot of it
is mental, yes, physically. You know, people are gifted, but
if they don't have the mental and the confidence, then
you can't really put it together on the court. And
that's really what I want these kids to get, some
real training.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
Good stuff, coach.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Right, So what you know a lot of times, you know,
coaches always say that when you come to practice, it's
it's it's not really practice.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
You should have already been ready.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
So is that things that you try to tell these
young players that hey, you need to practice and put
in the work before, because.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
That's just a dress rehearsal when you get to practice.

Speaker 10 (36:48):
Yes.

Speaker 13 (36:48):
The main thing that's missing nowadays is kids are not practicing.
And I was coming up, I get them at five
in the morning, I would say later seven pm at
nine I was playing against whoever bigger, better or stronger,
and these kids are not doing that. Ask what's missing?
So yes, definitely we're going to give them the skills,
but in order for them to master the skills, they
got to go home and practice this stuff and we
will be implementing and like letting them know you got

(37:09):
to do it if you want to be serious.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
Did you play in Europe? Yes? Okay, so she was
to play, right, right.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
The reason I want to ask that about Europe because
now they said the European player has gotten better than
the American player, I think we haven't.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
Had the MVP in what six years?

Speaker 2 (37:24):
So do you think that they're more fun being over
there and seeing it firsthand? Do you see a more
traditional game over that? I know the girls game even
America is more fundamentally sound than.

Speaker 9 (37:33):
The boys to have.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
So do you see that over there.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
With that that influence where the kids just aren't doing
and we're getting we're going to get passed.

Speaker 13 (37:39):
Yeah, So they're implementing this at a young age. They're
not playing as many games as we're playing, they don't
have as many individual trainers. They're all in the same
gym doing all of the fundamentals at an early age,
and they're able to play professionally. They don't have college
basketall right, so they're able to play like my teammates
sometimes are seventeen eighteen nineteen, you know. So they're getting
a kicks dark type of thing. But they're also focusing

(38:02):
on the fundamentals. And also I think America is trying
to push that wave till we can grow the game.
So they're making sure to give the the m v
P to these players that there are just as good.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
That's an interesting take, but I agree with that from
the coach. And then one more thing. We talked about
this on here.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
I think I don't know if it's going to happen
in the next Olympiad, but I think France is going
to get us.

Speaker 13 (38:28):
Yes, they're they're coming. Yes, and Canada, Canada, Canadian teammates.
She was the best big I've ever played with. Yeah,
Kayla Alexander.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
Because you got r J there, you got the m
v P there, So yeah, they're coming.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
And then Francis got.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
The seven to one guy was Nigeria seven seven?

Speaker 3 (38:47):
Yes, Senegal, No it's one. It wasn't Nigeria. It's one

Coach, will please be kind enough to introduce yourself to
our live radio audience.

Speaker 15 (45:07):
Mikey blackbrind Head flag football coach at Chino High School coach.

Speaker 4 (45:11):
One of these things, man, one of the things I
love about social media is you can communicate with folks.
You said, hey man, and you did it respectfully that
I appreciate a lot of people don't do that. A
lot of people are like, you need a good do
this and that. And he said, hey man, look at us.
We're gonna be doing some great things, which is great.
You definitely got on our radar.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
And obviously have a great team, So congratulations on that.

Speaker 4 (45:33):
Talk about obviously this summer getting the young ladies ready
to really have a team like this.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
Talk about the preparation for the season. Yeah, we've been
really lucky.

Speaker 15 (45:42):
We have a lot of returners coming back, brought most
of our league championship team back from last season, and
we're you guys said, we got on your radar.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
We're really happy with the schedule we have.

Speaker 15 (45:52):
We're playing a lot of top ten teams, so we're
in that top ten, but we're playing a lot of
top ten teams, So we knew coming into the season.

Speaker 3 (45:58):
Last season our schedules a little bit easier.

Speaker 15 (46:01):
We went in the league and it didn't get us
ready for the playoffs. Yeah, so we just talked about
challenging ourselves right and trying to take that next step
as a program.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
We feel like we're doing that. I like that, and
talk to me a little bit about this season. You're
excited a tougher schedule.

Speaker 2 (46:14):
Do you think that's going to get you battle tested
when you come down the road and you're playing league opponients.

Speaker 15 (46:19):
Yeah, definitely. We talked about it after every game, win
or lose. It's just preparing us for those league games
and definitely those playoff games, because when we got in
there last year against Edwanda, we were just kind of
out there.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
In rough seas. Right when we're ready for it, was
kind of tough for us, and we lost by on
the last play.

Speaker 15 (46:36):
We had a chance to win on the last play,
and it just it took us a minute to get going.
If we're ready to go right away, right to battle,
right away, I think.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
We can do some big things in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
Absolutely, and ed Awanda was a good team last year.
So I mean it shows that you guys had a
decent program. But tell me a little bit about some
of your players that you're excited about that you're saying,
I'm glad she's on my team.

Speaker 3 (46:54):
Yeah. So we have all the girls here.

Speaker 15 (46:56):
They'll get a chance to introduce themselves, but I want
to talk about some of our players that aren't here. Defensively,
we got Evelyn or Nalis our safety. She's small package, right,
but she brings us on the field. We got Geohnny Phillips,
who does a lot for us defensively and offensively. She
plays running back in the corner for us. Our two linebackers,
Kaylee Cordoza is our middle linebacker. Smart, smart player. She's

(47:17):
only a sophomore. She's gonna do some big things. Marissa Martinez,
our other linebacker. Our defense is doing a really good
job to you. You look at similar scores, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (47:26):
Yeah, yeah, keeping those teams reallyant and was going to
kind of jump into that skip me coach, But but
you guys played Beaumont. Beaumont obviously, I think they're eleven
and one of them not mistaken a really really tough program.
They were tough last year and you guys played a
really tough thought. I mean, talk about that game and
how you thought about your team in that game.

Speaker 15 (47:44):
Yeah, so once again preparing for the playoffs. Right in
those tough games, it came down to a few moments.
They scored on the last play of the half from
the four yard line. We had a chance to pull
a flag, we were in front of her and the
girl just reached in and got it. So we know
it's going to come down to those plays. We were
in the red zone three times and we didn't come
away with any points in the red zone. So we're
just kind of learning those key moments or what is

(48:05):
going to determine those tough games. So we're ready to
play these tough opponents.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
Yeah, execution excellent, and you guys, I mean you are
getting the respect. Like you said, when I look at
your ranking, you are ranked really high in the Southern Section,
and you have a game coming up on the National
Football Channel, National High School Football. I forget what they
called it, But how about that October first? You got
How exciting is that girls flag football is going to

(48:30):
be on TV.

Speaker 15 (48:31):
Yeah, we're really excited about that to get that exposure.
Girls really deserve it. We're just proud of the program
we're putting together. Right, So the wins and losses, it's
not really important kind of as a campus as a whole,
we've been kind of we've been having a lot of
athletic success, right, but we want to change kind of
what that looks like, what a win looks like, what
a winner looks like, and how that athletic success kind

(48:53):
of elevates the entire campus. And that exposure helps, right,
It kind of puts us in a position where eyes
are on us and we need to set an example.

Speaker 3 (49:02):
HS. Yes, that's what you guys are going to be
on I'll tell you what.

Speaker 4 (49:06):
Coach Congratulations And as Coach B said, real quick, when's
that game again?

Speaker 3 (49:10):
Coach B, you're saying.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
October first, and they're ranked twenty nine nationally, twenty eight
in the state. I mean they're really doing some things.
You can see why there would be.

Speaker 4 (49:18):
No question on that on that channel, no question about it.
And they're doing some great things. But coach again, we're
gonna ahead bring your players in. But congratulations on this season.
I know it's still a little early, but you guys
are doing a fantastic job and can't wait to see
what happened for you throughout the course of the season.

Speaker 3 (49:30):
And thanks.

Speaker 15 (49:30):
You have a big one coming up against upland two
so top tens in the ie, going at it two
weeks from them.

Speaker 3 (49:35):
Okay, there it is right there? What makes me put
that on the calendar? Right there?

Speaker 4 (49:37):
Again, that's right, we have Sheino High School girls flag football.
We're gonna go ahead and bring your players in right now.
And again, coach, thank you so much for coming out,
making the trip out here nice and brighten early. We're
gonna go ahead bring your players up. Look, geta wait
for the head phones le trip. All right here we
got I think think you must be the quarterback, right,
I think I saw your picture the other day this year.

(49:58):
All right, fantastic young lady, A right, go ahead, introduce yourself
to our live radio audience.

Speaker 3 (50:01):
Plays.

Speaker 5 (50:02):
I'm Sophia again, Bora, And I'm quarterback at you know,
high school.

Speaker 3 (50:05):
There it is right there.

Speaker 4 (50:06):
Now, you guys are really doing some great So you
guys are putting it on for your for your school.
I mean, how is it when you guys come to school,
you guys are really a good How is it coming
to school on Monday when you guys have had really
a great a great week of success, playing really good.

Speaker 5 (50:22):
And honestly feels great, Like we come off that energy
of like just having a high from winning.

Speaker 4 (50:26):
Really Now, tell me, now, do you have a special game?
You guys are six and two right now? Is there
a special game for you to stood out where you say, hey,
the ball was really getting out of your hand good,
your teammates were catching. Is there a game like that
for you this year?

Speaker 3 (50:39):
Already?

Speaker 5 (50:40):
I would say loss because that was a good team
and we did great. We had picks, we had good throws.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
Everything, good stuff. Right there, coach, So what is it
about football? What got you excited to play football?

Speaker 5 (50:51):
We got me excited was I would always watch football.
It was really like a sport I love like I
watched football to this day. I love watching the NFL.
So it's kind of cool that like now like girls
can play in a sport.

Speaker 2 (51:01):
Right, yeah, my daughter was in high school that it
wasn't a thing yet. But do you have what's your
favorite team?

Speaker 5 (51:08):
Ali Rams?

Speaker 4 (51:09):
Okay, staying local? Okay, hey, hey, you know no problem
with that with young lady. Keep up the good work.
Keep throwing that football. You're doing a great job. Okay,
there it is Fox Sports Radio right here live in
the studio. We have Chino Girls flag football right here
live on Fox Sports Radio. These young ladies are doing
fantastic this year. Already, young lady, put that microphone up.
Introduce yourself to our live radio audience.

Speaker 3 (51:31):
Please.

Speaker 20 (51:32):
Hi, my name is London Gibbs. I play safety and receiver.

Speaker 4 (51:36):
And okay, fantastic. Put that my microphone. I want to
ma sure everybody can hear you real quick. Now, now
you guys are again. I was talking to your coach.
You guys, have you guys playing the real good teams?
You guys aren't playing any any mediocre team. You guys
are playing the real deal. Talk about the preparation when
you guys know, you guys have to play like the
bonmots in the uplands. How's that practice? That next day
or before that before that.

Speaker 20 (51:55):
Game, Well, do you like scouting reports? Put the microphone, Well,
do scouting reports, and like watch the game before, watch
film and everything, and like defensively, just making sure that
we're in all the right spaces and have like the
good formations that we need to and then we'll do
like plays that we need to run against their defense
and all that stuff. So we just make sure that
we're prepared with like whiteboard, time and film.

Speaker 4 (52:14):
Okay, okay, so you r are you all over with then?
So now, just like your teammate, is there a game
that stood out to you this year when you felt
like you and your team were rolling an off Fielinder,
I would probably.

Speaker 20 (52:24):
Say Rancho, because, like defensively, like they had a really
good quarterback and we were just like walking her down,
getting sacks, getting picks, everything that we needed to do.
And like offensively we were catching the ball, scoring and
the end zone when we needed to. So I just
felt like we were playing very cohesive that game.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
Good day's right there, and you guys beat Rancho fifteen love,
So that's a good thing about that.

Speaker 3 (52:44):
So are you.

Speaker 2 (52:45):
Excited or are surprised on how well you guys are
doing six and two.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
You guys are coming out firing, excited and.

Speaker 20 (52:52):
Not surprised because like we were expecting to do well
this season because we had so many returners and so
many like new girls coming in and we were just
really like ambitious to see where we could get this season.
And I say that, like we're living up to the
hype that likes coming around our name.

Speaker 3 (53:04):
And what greater are you enough?

Speaker 20 (53:06):
I'm a senior.

Speaker 2 (53:06):
You're a senior now, so you have younger underclassmen that
you were saying, Hey, this is the way we're doing.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
Yes, Okay, that's well, young lady. Keep up the good work.

Speaker 4 (53:14):
You obviously have a bright future ahead of you, and
I can't wait to see what happens for you guys
the season.

Speaker 3 (53:18):
Okay, thank you. And there it is right there, Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (53:21):
We have Chino right here live and how Chino girls
flag football? Uh they made the trip. And again these
young ladies are doing doing a wonderful job. Oh sorry
about that, we're getting wires kicked out and everything. All right,
young lady, here we go. Put that microphone up. Go
ahead and introduce yourself to our live radio audience.

Speaker 19 (53:37):
Please, I am Zio Holyfield. I'm a senior at high
school and I play.

Speaker 4 (53:42):
Receiver in defensive Okay, okay, there it is right there.
Now would you rather play receiver or defensive back? Which
one is the one for you?

Speaker 19 (53:48):
I feel like my heart told me to play the receiver,
but most of it I'm way better at as a corner.

Speaker 3 (53:54):
Okay, like that? So you're part of them zeros?

Speaker 4 (53:56):
There no now now real quick, I asked your teammate
said again, you guys are playing fantastic right now. Now,
I think this is more important, is it? How do
you do this? Is it cow girls cowboy? Because I
know it's the Cowboys is the logo, but how do
you how do we work that for girls flag football?
I know they weren't probably thinking about that when they
first worked it out, but how do I?

Speaker 3 (54:15):
How do I do that?

Speaker 19 (54:16):
Like sometimes we say cow girls sometimes Okay.

Speaker 4 (54:20):
It's whatever the flavor is. Okay, I'm fine with that.
Now for you, was there a special game for you
to stood out the season?

Speaker 19 (54:25):
I feel like one of my best games was most
definitely like is like it was very competitive and like
I like that when people were like chippy and it's
like it's really getting heated, like.

Speaker 5 (54:33):
That's when I play my best.

Speaker 2 (54:34):
Okay, I like that, Kach be excellent. And so now
I'll ask you. The last name is holy Field. Do
you have any relatives named Vander.

Speaker 3 (54:41):
Well my da? Okay? So you like he ain't getting
in the house for obamaca, yet it very well could be.
You know.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Now, now I see that you're a multi sport athlete.
You you're playing flag football, you're also playing basketball. You're
a guard for it and shooting guard and then on
football wide receiver in dB.

Speaker 3 (55:00):
Can you basically do anything?

Speaker 13 (55:02):
Yeah, whatever you need to do.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
I'm there, there you go. I love it.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
So when you're playing dB and you have that receiver
right in front of you, are what your are you
jamming them?

Speaker 3 (55:12):
You're letting them get by you? Do you have to speed?

Speaker 2 (55:14):
Like because Deon Sanders used to let the receiver run
past them so the quarterback would throw the ball and
he would close so fast.

Speaker 19 (55:19):
I feel like it's most definitely a mix of both.
Like I like to get on the number one receiver,
like that's my goal, Like I want the best, like
bring it to me. It really depends like the type
of receiver you are. If you're fast, I'm gonna let
you pass me, so then the quarterback thinks you're open
if you're kind of slower but more technique. I like
to meet you right there. What make contact?

Speaker 2 (55:36):
I'm gonna call you prime time home because that's something
that would She.

Speaker 3 (55:40):
Is, she knows what she is doing. Well, young lady,
keep up the good work. You obvious have the right
future and can't wait to see what happened for your
team this season. Okay, there it is Fox Sports Radio.
We are right here with she know high school.

Speaker 4 (55:50):
These young ladies are playing really really well six and
two on the season, and make sure you guys go
check them out.

Speaker 3 (55:55):
She had to put them a good thing. It is
just there's no problem.

Speaker 4 (55:58):
Put a microphone up and introduce yourself to the whole
world listening on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 21 (56:03):
I'm breonn and Gonzalez and I am running back and
linebacker at you.

Speaker 13 (56:07):
Know high school.

Speaker 4 (56:07):
Okay, there it is right there now, young lady. You're
smiling right now. But I've seen pictures of you guys.
You guys are out there. You guys got the game face.
Now do you wear any face paint? That's what everybody
wants to know.

Speaker 3 (56:17):
Oh no, I don't so you're not the face paint girl.
You don't want anything. You don't want to mess up
the hair anything.

Speaker 21 (56:21):
Oh no, honestly, we can't do much with the face paint.
So it's either just the lines.

Speaker 3 (56:28):
Oh, you guys can't like do designs.

Speaker 13 (56:29):
No, we can't.

Speaker 3 (56:30):
Oh they must have changed changed now, how bad?

Speaker 4 (56:34):
Oh we got to talk to somebody, see if we're
gonna to talk to them about that. Okay, we'll figure
that out now real quick. I asked you the same
thing you asked your teammates. What game stood out to
you this season? Like maybe I mean this season in
terms of your six and two record for you, if
you had a good game, you felt like your teammates
had a good game too.

Speaker 21 (56:50):
I would say Los Osos too, because on that game,
I was getting like extremely bodied and like while I
want to go blitz the quarterback, like it got to
the point where it was so far as a goal,
like it didn't even feel.

Speaker 13 (57:01):
Like flag anymore.

Speaker 4 (57:02):
Okay, okay, now now for us, you see I got great,
I got gray whiskers.

Speaker 3 (57:06):
You said you got body. I hear that, correct.

Speaker 4 (57:08):
Help me, Help help help us old folks out who
are not astute with the language.

Speaker 3 (57:13):
What is what is when you get bodied? What does
that mean exactly?

Speaker 21 (57:15):
Well, I would go to run and she would be
like blocking so good that I just just.

Speaker 3 (57:20):
Bounce right off. That's funny stuff, right that. I like
that because do you hit them with the speed when
you try to get around them?

Speaker 4 (57:25):

Just like I don't really know, just like kind of
like watching the quarterback to see like what they do

forth right, not trying to like get my ankles.

like the quarterback of the defense, and you have to
you have to see what the receivers doing.

You have to see if they're gonna run. You gotta
do so much. Is that a lot for you to handle?

Speaker 21 (58:04):
Honestly, No, I'm kind of just watching the quarterback just
kind of running out or trying to get the flag.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
