Health, and the lack thereof, have not been kind to the podcast.

Hi, everyone. This is Laura, not Kate, stepping in to let
you know how things are going andwhy the podcast has been quiet for the
last month or so. Kate's hadsome health issues this year, even more
so than is normal for her.Over the past few months, She's had
problems with her pickline that led toemergency room visits that led to hospital stays

that overall led to sepsis and anin fiction in her pickline. So the
pickline was removed and a procedure wasscheduled to place a chest port for today.
On December twenty seventh, they wokeher up and decided she had COVID,
but she managed to be that quickenough to go ahead and have her

surgery scheduled for today, and accordingto her husband, everything has gone well
as she's doing okay by some definitionof okay. However, from here on
out, she doesn't really know whatthe timeline looks like for her health improving.
Hopefully after the surgery, she canstart feeling better a little bit quicker

and get back online with all ofy'all and tell us the stories of the
hospital stays, because I'm sure they'regoing to be lovely. Mostly, she
wanted me to let you know thateven though she missed Christmas with her family
and she misses being able to talkto all of us, she's doing all
