Monica Mata Gilliam – Changing Our Sense of Habitat

Aired Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM PST / 6:00 PM EST

Join Betsy and her guest Monica Gilliam to explore our sense of habitat. Monica is beginning a longer term project that will be investigating people’s perspectives on habitat and what else is truly possible for us to create with all of the flora and fauna on this great planet. I’m curious what people know about their neighbors; the creatures and plants that live in this world with us. We have spent so long buying into and enforcing separation, what are the possibilities that are available to us if we change our perspective to one of inclusion?

Monica Mata Gilliam is an Access Consciousness and Talk To The Entities Certified Facilitator. She studied dance and performed extensively before pursuing a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Over the years, her love of movement and energy has facilitated her practical approach, both with clients and with herself, to enjoying all that life has to offer. Most recently she has been working more extensively with plants and is beginning a movement to create parks in every home.
