The Atlanta Falcons are 2-0 early in the season. Are you mad? Some are. Ridder, Bijan, Defense, Coach Smith is operating how he wants and it's working. We have played a lot of 1 score games in the last 3 years and were in all of them. Braves are having an historic season, will they finish it out with a World Series? Acuna is pushing for an MVP, Olsen is having an MVP season as well. Will the pitching be there? Hawks are almost back in action. October 9th they will have an open practice. First game of the season is October 27th. Will you be there? Has the team gotten better this off-season? Atlanta United are in 6th place with 46 points (1-1 tie tonight) Can they solidify a playoff berth? Can they advance? depth. So we've had a lotof memorials and funerals and things of that
nature. To go to, alot of grieving things that nature. I
just went to the last one.Wasn't prepared to see pictures of my dad.
Again, if you don't know,I've lost two aunts, and my
grandmother lost her brother. And withmy two aunts, of course, that's

my grandmother's two daughters, and she'sshe lost those two daughters almost within a
month of each other, and thenher brother right around the same time.
So it's been a lot and sheonly has one daughter left now, which
is just the just the worst partof when you think about it. So
it's a lot of going on withthe family, So that's why I haven't
really been on the arrow whole heckof a lot. So all I ask

Uh football seasons in full swing,got baseball season winding down, depressing
for the postseason. You know,we had a little international basketball going on

sir, you know, I guesslet's going to talk about some Atlanta sports.

kicked to the curve any other teamit's a third wearing black, white,
silver setting for the blood. Noone cared to get it dirty because we
came from the food and we hungerother elbow. He rides, he ride,
we ride together. The first ofa flock were like birds of a

forgot I have it. So wehad a game. Uh, the Falcons

just played the other day against theexcuse me, my goodness, Jordan,
who did we play? Who didwe play? Jordan? My mom just
went blank. I'm tired green BayPackers and we had to come back in
that game. That game wasn't asure thing. A lot of people had

the team not even winning the game, obviously because it was Green Bay.
But the team showed a lot ofgrit, a lot of energy. I'm
gonna show some of that in thesecond but right off the bat, for
those who might be listening, insix four six, six, five two
four four seven nine, can theFalcons win the division? Now, some
things I wanted to talk about inthis first segment for the Falcons. We
want to talk about ridder, wewant to talk about the running game.

We want to talk about defense.I do have the death chart, so
I can go through the death chartwith us, but I definitely want to
talk about that fourth quarter and doyou believe in the team? Okay?
So, and actually before I getstarted seven last four digs two, six,
five, four, don't go anywhere, I see your own hold.

be in the game no matter what'sgoing on, and one score games is
something that we're kind of good at, which is reflective of our two and
no start already. But if youlook at that fourth quarter and everything that
had to happen for our team towin, I think it's very impressive and
I think it's something to really takenote of for the rest of the season.

shot of winning the division? Isaid that the end of last year that
they could, but now definitely Isay that for sure. And if they

It's certainly a different style when itcomes to making guys miss. Whereas
Jon Robinson is able to put thebrakes on, change directions very quickly,
hit people with his agility, andthen kick on the afterburners. Tyler ale
Jar, on the other hand,he runs through tackles and runs over guys
in order to force his miss tackles. But you know, two percile,

both very effective. I thought thatthe first game that Tyler Hoile's year was
the better, more effective running back, definitely, Jean Robinson was in his
past game now recording a lot ofthe fans on Twitter know that I was
a starts advocate of taking Jayleen Carterwith that that pig as opposed to Bejon
Robinson. And so now they're askingme, you know, you see how

good Jon is. Are you gonnaadmit that that was the right pick?
Now? No, I'm not,No, No, I absolutely I'm not.
Because I have always always always beenup front that I felt like both
players are gonna be great football players. I just value a great becausive liveing

over a great running back. Amatter of fact, if you look at
the Pro Football Focus grade system,the top two graded rookies through two weeks
is Jalen Carter number one, BijonRobinson number two. So definitely think both
are gonna be great players. Itdoesn't change my thoughts about team building,
but I'm certainly excited on what I'mseeing about from Jon Robinson. It was

also nice to see Drake London emergeafter not catching any passes in the first
game. I only had one targetthrough this way. That was Drake London.
We saw particularly the last four gameslast year after we got a little
sorry Mariota up out of there.But he played well throughout the season,
even with Marrioda, because he wasthe one guy that Mariota could find sometimes,

but as a whole, the oneI guess that well. First of
all, I see a question onthe screen, kind of backers win the
division? Yes, sir, theycan. I think I think they can.
I think they will because they havea top three running game in the
NFL and we have a top fivethe secondary, I would say, and
that's without Jeff oh Cooler even playinga game yet. You know, obviously

a cooler former. You know,top ten draft pick in the NFL top
five if I'm not mistinking. Sohe has the talent. Don't know why
it didn't quite work out for himin Detroit, but he'll certainly buil welcome
addition to the secondary. Jesse Basehas been fantastic worth every time we played
for him so far. He isa Pro Bowl safety and he's got They're

showing it. He had two hundreceptionsin the first game. Was also all
over the field in this particular gamemaking plays and a j Terrell is just
tremendous. There's a clip out thereon Twitter that basically talked about how you
know, it was casually discussed,but there's a play where he's one on
woman to receive him and he's runningstride for stride with him. The quarterback

of course see's one on one andhe puts the ball up, giving this
guy a chance and he runs withhim step for step, which for the
ball to get there. Just casuallywatch the ball away and I mean,
you know, not much was madeof that play, but it was a
great play because not very many cornerscould be side for side, stride for
stride with the receiver like that andhave the reaction time to not that ball

away without grabbing him to receiver atall, without doing any type of thing
to draw a flag. So yeah, man, definitely like what I saw.
One thing about the Strikers team thatI would like to see do better
as jet to a little bit quickerstart, because both games we've kind of
started out slow in the first half. But you know, if you're going
to be better in one half,it's the second half you want to be

better in. And the factors havecertainly been better in the second half in
both of these football games, inparticularly that game against Green Bay. I
mean you showed the score there wasthe twenty three twelve in the fourth quarter.
Ball game was tremendous. The otherthing i'd like to see the team
be a little bit better at,though then we've been this this year,

(19:30):
and particularly in the Green Bay game, is scoring touchdowns in the red zone.
There are a few opportunities we hadin the red zone against Green Bay.
In fact, one drive we werefirst to go for the two yard
line, and at that point Iwould have gave the ball the half year
and see if they could just power. Of course, if we didn't go
to that route. They didn't lookkick in the field though, So those

are my early observations what I've seenso far. I'm depleted, encouraged by
never the thing we can win thisdivision. I don't believe in Derry Carr
and the Yanks. I don't thinkKapa Bay can keep up this start they've
had the Baker Mayville. Yes,both teams are too and though, and
of course Carolina's already O and too, we know they're not now being said,

I don't think oh and two isthe kids are just in the dvador
that used to be. I thinknow it's oh and three since it's an
initial game. But still, Idon't think Carolina's coming up out of last
place by anything. Appreciate those starts, of course, Jordan, just going
by the depth chart, Jeff Isis labeled as the starting quarterbacks for this

weekend, so it looks like he'sback. I believe, if the rumors
are true, Cordell Patterston will alsobe back. So when you're talking about
this depth again, our team justgot two players deeper just by the fault,
so we should be excited about that. I believe we can. I
mean, I know it's the firstroad game of the season. But I
believe the Falcons have a great chanceto win this game as well. Detroit

is actually going through a lot ofin threes on their end. So I
think the Falcons, like you said, that they start off fast and take
advantage of that. We should bethree and no, right, and then
we and we go from there.That being said, wanted to go to
our next segment. We're gonna talka little baseball. We hadn't taught baseball
on the show in a long time, actually, so let's go ahead and

uh, let's see if we cantalk about some at Lanta Braids baseball.
Uh, for the first time ina few months. All Right, got

the good, good old Comma hotchopper going. So can can anybody beat
the Braids in the seventh game serieswhen it gets down to it, that's
the question really, because we knowwe have the offense, We know we
have a you know, a startingpitching staff that they win a lot of
games. Right, even though wedid have a little bit of a slump,

you know, you know, Marlonhas actually swept us. You know,
Phillies took two out of three s. All right, Brave still have
ninety eight victories they won tonight actuallya kuna right now, MVP Olsen right
there behind us. But again,well, this end up in the World
Series, that's what's going to countmore than all of this. And I
think Georgian said of a couple ofweeks ago, we were just talking,

they can't do all of this andnot win the World Series, right,
So who would be your playoff startingrotation. That's a question that a lot
of people have asked or have beentalking about. Who's going to be those
starters, what's the bullpen gonna belooking like, things of that nature.

nine. If you're a brave fan, hopefully you are, let's talk about
that during your first thoughts in regardsto the season thus far. Again,
we hadn't taught baseball in a while. And by the way, y'all,

right now, of course we're wegot the best record in baseball. We
have the best offense in baseball.We have the best offense the Braves of
ever half ever by far. ButCouna is having a legendary season. No

one is doing what he's done before. And then you got Matt Oldsan who's
breaking Braves records as well. Yougot everybody else in that lineup. And
in fact, let me pull itup real quick. The Braves one to
night, ten to three against theNationals, that terrible team there. Let's
see, Ronnie didn't really have agreat night. He went one for six,
but Iasy had four RBIs had hewent four for six. To night

at a home run Austin with threefor five, Matt had two, was
two for six, he hit anotherhome run a Zuna, he had a
RBI. Travis he was he hadtwo walks and the RBI and a hit.
Eddie was back in the lineup againand Urcia was three for four.
Max another great start, six inning, seven strikeouts, only one walk,

only one earned, one given up. But is you know our bullpen has
been really solid. But every nowand again you have those little you know,
nix and crannies or whatever. Soright now, what do you think
it's gonna be the focus in thestretch run, Jordan? Is it gonna
be matching up the bullpen and seeingwho's gonna be those guys? Or do

you think it's gonna be you know, we know Max and Striter are pretty
much gonna be the one two.I don't know which is the order.
Is Morton gonna be the third starteragain, you know, being the veteran
that years and everything, and thenwho follows him after that? As they're
gonna be Bryce, it's gonna beKyle. I really don't think it should
be Kyle at this point? Youknow, do they just go through with
a three man rotation and go fromthere? Do you think the starters are

going to do seven innings? Ithink they need to go push and push
seven innings and try to guarantee awin because if you go five or six,
I just think that's a broken standard. In back in the day,
Clamming wasn't doing no five innings.What are you talking about? Right?
So? What are your thoughts inregards to these last few weeks of the
regular season for the brains. I'vebeen disappointed in this recent run. One

thing I didn't like here recently wasone we won a division we was we
were four in Champagne. You know, every it looks like it looks any
different than the celebration where we willlast one of the worst back. And
I just think if this team shouldbe at the point now where they're not
celebrating division titles that hard. Yeah, you'd be happy. You wanted to

be in shake hands, you know, maybe do its Miles celebration, but
it was over the top to me, and we we hadn't really played well
as a whole since that particular celebration. I did see though, looking at
the score from tonight, the RonLacuna did still a base, which was
his sixty eight still and so nowhe is one home run and two steals

the way for being the first fortyhome run seventies stolen base player in the
history of Major League Baseball. Socertainly I'll watch for that and certainly think
that he's going to accomplish that withoutany problems. I mean, this offense
is tremendous, man, It's oneof the best offenses you know, probably

in recent years in baseball, maybeof all time. I haven't had a
chance to compare numbers with some ofthe best offenses, but the veriest pretty
much league, not just the NASSLeague, the entire major leagues, in
almost every others of category. Imean, just talked about wrong with Coon
News numbers. Matt Olson has nowhad a Braves franchise record, passing Andrew

Jones with fifty two home runs.Pozzy Albis is now up to thirty one
home runs. You got marceloza Ozunathe thirty five home runs, he still
has a chance to get the forty. You have Osan Riley with thirty six
home runs. He still has achance to get to forty. You know,

just tremendous. Michael Harrison has beentremendous on fire. He's got eighteen
home runs, but we all knowthat though that's not just the main portion
of his game. But he's beenvery hot lately. The offense really hasn't
missed a bunch of a beat.I mean, they have a game here
there, but they don't score asmany. But you know, you're not
gonna put up ten runs a nightin baseball. But the issue is pitching

and when you ask who's gonna beto start the rotation in the playoffs.
You know, it's very difficult tohave that question. Yeah, the first
part of the seat, I thinkif you're the praise, you go at
Max game one. He was yourseven game winner of the game seven of
the worst. I mean, hewas your fund game winner of the World
Series. So I think you puthim out there for sure. And then

you also go Strider second, oneof the best pitchers in baseball. And
then I think you go with Charliethird. As of that, sir,
I don't know. I want tothe right pitch a couple more times.
I'm hoping that this is just restingthis since he's been out for fights sometimes
and then before the postseason rolls around, we can see him him like it

clicked back in for him. Butso I'm gonna tell you something. Bryce
Elder cannot start a playoff game,Sir. He cannot. If Bryce Pelder
starts a playoff game, we willlose that particular playoffs. He has been
awful in the second half of theseason. In three in two thirds innings,
he walked five game of four runs, got zero. Yeah, Chris

a non power pitcher, Okay,a pitcher who does that strike anybody out
that's also struggling. That is arecipe for the disaster in the post scene.
So that's and that's where that's whyI said, that's where I'm looking
at. It's like after more andyou're you know, is Kyle healthy?
Because if Kylin is healthy and he'sjust struggling and he's just rusty as one

thing. But if he's not healthyand Elder is not there, what did
we do because I don't we reallytechnically don't have another option. By the
way, Matt hit his fifty thirdhome run tonight, by the way,
too, Okay, cool, Yeah, that's a good question, Chris.
And it's it's quite it's quite theproblem because you know, you're gonna need

you're gonna have You're not gonna betto just run three guys out there over
and over and over again. You'regonna need somebody else to start the game.
I really not find up having toput a game with all, you
know what I mean. But atthat point, and that too, was
the bulletin game. The old outthere. He just has not the good
since Y'all Star game at all.I mean, it's been a consistent thing.

Maybe one start here. He's beendecent for the most part, because
he is probably close to five now. It was up over four for the
second half of the season already.Yeah, it's probably close to five and
not over five after that last outingfor the second half of the season.
Like I said, I'm hoping,right, guy, I'm over count right,
can get it back. If notright, I mean, you know,

maybe you get one of these youngerguys chance shot, maybe like a
Darius Fine. I don't know,you know what I mean. He's been
just one start. He was verygood. It's been pretty decent out of
the bullepen. He gave up acouple of rounds time or two. But
some guys are just starting pitchers andit's harder for them too. You know,

he used to coming out of thepen because they're used to the routine.
I was starting every fifth day.So the only reason, the only
reason I even really make mention ofit. I don't want to see no
bullpen games in this playoffs. Ithink that's just But I take bullepen over
right. The other man. Aguy who doesn't strike anybody out is I

mean, power pitching already is kingof the playoffs. It's why John Smokes
has wins in the postseason, thegreat battings of Tom Black and so when
when when you got a guy who'sjust pitching the contact against these good teams,
Number one, it leads you openfor even when they don't get good
contact, you can get a bluesingle, a little flair, you know

what I mean into the outfield's it'sthe rest of people the grass. So
I really don't know. Unfortunately,you know, Micasaroka went down again and
out for the season, so hecan no longer an option in the bullpen.
I mean address this has been agreat thing, you know what I
mean, have noice. Our bullpenis a top bullpen. For a few
