En lo deportivo, Independiente Santa Fe volvió a perder. El equipo de Rivera nuevamente no tuvo ideas distintas a lo ya mostrado y Nacional con más variantes tácticas descifró el partido y con un gol de Baldomero Perlaza se quedó con los 3 puntos.
