Hinchas de Nacional invadieron la tribuna familiar, agrediendo a niños y familias. Como respuesta a eso la barra organizada de Santa Fe invadió el terreno de juego para agredir la barra de Nacional. Luego de unos 20 minutos de mucha tensión la policía intervino y separó la gresca.
En lo deportivo, Independiente Santa Fe volvió a perder. El equipo de Rivera nuevamente no tuvo ideas distintas a lo ya mostrado y Nacional con más variantes tácticas descifró el partido y con un gol de Baldomero Perlaza se quedó con los 3 puntos.
Santa Fe jugará su próximo partido el sábado 7 de agosto a las 8 de la noche contra Millonarios y espera sumar sus primeros 3 puntos, pues en 3 salidas tiene 0 puntos y está en el fondo de la tabla.
