Il y a un prix tous les ans qui "récompense" le papier scientifique le plus ridicule à avoir été publié. Par exemple, il y a quelques années une équipe de chercheurs l'avait emporté en résolvant le mystère des chaussettes qui disparaissent dans les machines à laver.
Bon. Quand on lit ce genre de sujet, on se doute que c'est pas HYPER sérieux, non ?
Il y a d'autres papiers en revanche, qui ont tous les airs de légitimité du monde. Comme celui de Brett Pelham, Matthew Mirenberg et John Jones de l'Université de New York.
Ils ont démontré que, notre prénom ou notre nom de famille nous prédestinaient. Par exemple, les Dennis auraient de fortes chances de finir dentistes ! Statistiques à l'appui.
Sauf que... C'est faux.
Et ce n'est pas la seule étude qui soit biaisée. Une grande étude pour démonter les biais des études était ELLE MÊME biaisée.
On s'y perd hein ?
Rassurez-vous, on va démêler tout ça, et voir comment on peut appliquer un peu de rigueur scientifique au quotidien, même dans la vente.
